Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Done with this.
Dr. Moreau, God of Mad Doctors

- Demigod
- Symbol: His island
- Alignment: Neutral Evil
- Portfolio: Mad Doctor, For Science!, believes only inferior beings feel pain
- Domains: Science, Animals
- Allies: Dr. Borous (Think Tank), Napoleon, Shou Tucker, Mesogog, Fran Madaraki
- Enemies: Michiru Kagemori, Nazuna Hiwatashi, Shirou Ogami, Koba, Claudandus, Hagen, Christiane Génessier
- Opposed by: Caesar
- Dr. Moreau is a physiologist and vivisectionist whose scientific curiosity led him to perform hideous procedures on animals with the end goal of completely turning them into humans. He theorized that this was possible by grafting different parts of the animal, or other animals entirely, together. As Moreau's experiments were condemned back in England, he retired to a desert island on the South Pacific ocean where he could procure animals and continue his research unimpeded. The results of his work were called Beast Folk, and they founded a society based on precepts known as the Law drawn up by Moreau, which discouraged any animalistic behavior under pain of further vivisection, and ensured Moreau was seen as something of a deity. Although Moreau didn't consider any of the Beast Folk successes since they reverted back to animals sooner or later, he kept trying. His last work was on a female puma who was driven to escape her confines after several days of extreme pain and killed Moreau in a confrontation. With Moreau gone, the Beast Folk reverted, so no trace of his work was left.
- Moreau was rescued from oblivion by the Main House and informed that his... unique experiments caught their attention enough to grant him a divine title. After stoically and attentively absorbing everything he needed to know about this new place to get started, he was allowed to leave for his temple, which is appropriately a far-off desert island where he is able to do all the research he wishes without being bothered by pesky concerns of morality. There's no longer any Beast Folk cohabitating with him, but that's just as well since the recent events proved they were complete failures with no chance of improvement, no matter how many more times he vivisected them. This way he could have a fresh start with what he had learned.
- He considered bringing up his henchman Montgomery to be his Herald, ultimately deciding against it since his sympathy for the Beast Folk, alcoholism and resentment for his position were less than desirable traits. Moreau has found that one of the more convenient things about the Pantheon is Internet access, through which he can more or less easily find amoral-enough people willing to work for him, and even acquire animals for his experiments in the darker corners of the web, with shipment being much more reliable than what he's been used to. He simply must applaud the newer generations for this astounding leap in technology, even more so since it allows him to contact with likeminded scientific men, such as Dr. Borous of the Think Tank, who's very interested in Moreau's research, in his capacity as Head of Animology, Beastology, and DNA-Scrambling Technology. Moreau finds it all the more remarkable that Borous no longer has a body and instead has his brain preserved in a jar, and thinks he'd like a similar arrangement in order to avoid any debilitating injury to his body while working with the animals and Beast Folk. It would take a large amount of resources to make it work in a desert island, though.
- Moreau managed to find other friendly contacts in Mesogog and Shou Tucker, who are sympathetic to his research and scientific curiosity and are thus eager to share their resources, even if they don't necessarily agree with his beliefs. There's of course a conflict of interest with Mesogog believing dinosaurs have better DNA and humans ought to be turned into them, thus throwing Earth back into the dinosaur age, a goal which sounds utterly ridiculous to Moreau as dinosaurs ultimately failed to thrive and disappeared millions of years ago, proving their inferiority, at least in his view. Still, he is polite enough not to say this to Mesogog's face, especially after Mesogog provided him with some Tyrannodrones to guard him. In regards to Shou Tucker, Moreau sees the similarities between the chimeras Tucker works with and his own imperfect Beast Folk and finds something of interest in the different combinations of features one can achieve through chimeras; he has to admit his Beast Folk aren't quite so variable.
- There are in fact multiple of what Moreau might broadly call Beast Folk ascended, and they are generally more civilized than not. Even then, Moreau still considers not good enough; he won't be satisfied until he can completely turn an animal into a human in every aspect. He has been paying particular attention to Michiru, Nazuna and Shirou, whose kind tends to descend into mindless fits of animalistic rage thanks to something called the Nirvasyl Syndrome, with Moreau considering this to be evidence of their inferiority compared to humans. Needless to say, the three beastmen aren't amused at his views, and Michiru and Nazuna were downright affronted when Moreau expressed his pity that they went from human to Beast Folk and offered to find a way to fix their "problem" for them, as well as "improving" Shirou. As far as they are concerned, Moreau can stuff it; they're perfectly happy the way they are now. Shirou has promised he'll have Moreau's head someday for his continuing crimes against his kind.
- He was also interested to learn that there's a future in which humanity will become totally displaced by evolved apes, with the apes generally regarding themselves as the superior species. Moreau feels the apes simply lucked out after most of humanity died off in a deadly pandemic, and doubts they would have come so far without that opportunity opening up. Against all odds, he and Dr. Zaius have actually met up in person and politely debated the whole matter as fellow scientific beings, though neither budged on his beliefs. Not all the apes are as polite as Zaius, as exemplified by Koba, a paranoid bonobo who absolutely hates humans and wants them exterminated due to suffering abuse at their hands. The only thing willing to stand in the way of Koba murdering the vivisector with extreme prejudice is Caesar, who's not any fonder of the man but also doesn't believe gratuitous murder of humans accomplishes anything good, although there are a lot of deities who wouldn't blame him at all if he so chose.
- Animals have become more prone to disappearing since Moreau's ascension and it's easy to guess why. It's led the House of Beast and Fauna to increase security to avoid any of their precious inhabitants getting kidnapped, but not every animal is lucky to live there. On one hand, Moreau is more likely to use wild animals and not touch someone's pet, but he has made exceptions; he particularly noticed that Christiane Génessier had so many dogs that he assumed she wouldn't know if he took some, only to be proven quite wrong when she went to Hagen to help her find them. Hagen somehow managed to track the dogs all the way to Moreau's island, upon which he and the rest of his pack executed gruesome revenge on Moreau and even destroyed his workplace. Moreau at least learned not to mess with anyone's pets ever, though his curiosity has flared up when it comes to Hagen, who seems to have an improbable level of intelligence for a dog and thus might have the potential to be turned into a human. Hagen, needless to say, is violently opposed to becoming Moreau's guinea pig, or to allow any other dog to suffer the same fate.
- He has read up on the work of one Claudandus and thought his Super Breeding Program was very interesting, even if he found the idea of cat supremacy to be preposterous. He also scoffed at the idea that the author is supposedly a cat himself. Moreau postulates that it must be some reclusive and particularly eccentric human scientist who has a fascination for cats and uses Claudandus as his persona. However Claudandus is very much a cat, a particularly devious and vile one who has a deep loathing for humanity. Claudandus especially hates the type of human that Moreau is, as the feline was made to suffer through grueling experiments at the hands of scientists, including the vivisection which Moreau is so fond of. Claudandus won't bother to disprove Moreau's misconceptions about him just yet; not until he reaches his goal of creating a super-breed of cat to overtake humanity. When that time comes, though, he will relish slashing Moreau's throat himself.
- It's hard to imagine any animal happily pursuing an acquaintance with Moreau, but there is in fact one in the pig Napoleon, the cruel ruler of Animal Farm. Napoleon has already taken big strides in making himself almost indistiguishable from a human in order to stand above all the animals he governs, and he thinks he wouldn't mind at all to make that transformation more definite so he'll be seen as an equal by the human competitors in the other farms. That said, he also knows Moreau's work is still in the developing stages, and would rather wait until it is perfected. Until then, though, Napoleon is rather happy to provide him with test subjects from the Farm itself, or kidnap animals from other places, to do his part in helping the research along. Moreau is really quite gratified to have such a useful partner on his ventures, and has promised Napoleon he would be his masterwork when they got to that point.
- Mostly dismissed by the House of Health and Diseases as a physiologist who went off the deep end and abandoned his purpose to pursue selfish and harmful interests, but there's at least one who's genuinely curious about his work without any evil intentions, and that's Fran Madaraki, the most painful of the good doctors in perhaps the whole Pantheon. Fran has a very strange and particular way of looking at her line of work that's not entirely in line with her colleagues; while she will do everything she can to ensure her patient still lives, this often comes at the cost of any concerns regarding quality of life, so it's not entirely surprising that she believes Moreau's work might have value despite the great suffering he puts his subjects through. So, she always looks forward to the papers published for Moreau. For his part, he's happy to have someone who understands him, and has also shown interest in the results of Fran's medical practices to see the limits of the human body.

What serial killers and evil heat users would either get along or be big rivals to Big Daddy Thrax?
Thrax, The God With a Diseased Name (El Muerte Rojo, the Red Death, Big Daddy Thrax)

- Note: Rework
- Quasideity, Lesser God on a cellular level (capable of killing at least Lesser Deity humans)
- Symbol: His glowing left index claw
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil
- Portfolio: Asserts His Authority Through Asskicking, Badass Longcoat, Bad Boss, Being Surprisingly Slick For How Depraved He Is, Diseased Name, Desires Fame Through Infamy, Both Causes and Suffers a Family Unfriendly Death, a Name to Run Away From Really Fast, Nearly Succeeded, Omnicidal Maniac, Plays With Fire, Red and Black and Evil All Over, Sadist, Serial Killer, Touch of Death, a Vile Villain in a Saccharine Show, Would Hurt a Child And Senior, Evil Is Burning Hot, Touch of Death
- Interested in: Thaal Sinestro
- Allies: Nurgle, Typhus, Peryite, Pestilence the Horseman, Judge Mortis, Fabius Bile, SCP-106, Hexxus, Freddy Krueger
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Ultron
- Enemies: Osmosis Jones, Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin, the Question, SCP-040, SCP-049, Morpheus, Mario (as Dr Mario), The SCP Foundation, any good-aligned doctor (see the Hall of Physicians and some of Healers), most of the House of Law and Justice, Jean-Pierre Polneraff, Noriaki Kakyoin, Ray Palmer, Hank Pym, Melman, The Green Lantern Corps (especially Guy Gardner), The Emotions, Alfyn
- Fears: The Hall of Alcohol
- Wary of: The House of Madness and Insanity
- Disrespects: Eddie Low
- The suave yet utterly deadly Thrax is a virus with an ego and an reputation of infamy he seeks. He tends to strike at those with bad hygiene, where he would remove a DNA bead from the hypothalamus and cause a continual increase of body temperature until the victim dies of fever. This proves apocalyptic for the cell population, and he intends to beat his record each time to get into the medical books as a legendary plague. He almost succeeded with Frank DeTorre however Osmosis Jones and Drix managed to best him and send him plummeting into a sample of alcohol; lethal to his kind.
- When Thrax met his end at the hands of Osmosis Jones, he thought it was all over. Instead, however, he awoke as if it had all just been a dream. Instead of the expected eternal blackness of death, his eyes were met with the towering figure of Nurgle, who extended a welcoming hand. The Lord of Decay explained to the confused Thrax that he had indeed died, but would be able to start a new life among the ranks of the Pantheon, should he accept the invitation. Needless to say, Thrax eagerly accepted. It's still a subject of great debate as to what he is. His name seems to be derived from anthrax, a bacteria, but both Thrax and Ozzy insist that he is a virus. The Question, however, was quick to point out that Thrax behaves much more like a bioweapon. Thrax is becoming increasingly annoyed with the Question's spreading of this rumor, but will not confirm or deny the validity of his claims.
- Thrax is kept under very close watch, at least by the more good-aligned higher-ups of the Pantheon. A plot to create more of his kind and potentially start a plague has been unearthed with Typhus, Pestilence, and Judge Mortis as the leading conspirators. Later on Peryite arrived, much to his dark joy. Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin, however, have proven to be somewhat of a dent in their plans. Their inability to become infected is nothing short of baffling, and Thrax is incredibly resentful of them for it. The alliances he's formed are done with the hopes of gaining the power to enlarge himself to human size at will so he can kill more in-your-face, and to increase the range of vectors he can use to infect.
- Being a pathogen, SCP-049 has no tolerance for Thrax. His ascension has further fueled the SCP's delusions and paranoia over a worldwide plague that (hopefully) does not actually exist. The Plague Doctor accurately surmised that Thrax is the viral equivalent of a Serial Killer, and has requested the SCP Foundation neutralize him. While this isn't usually what they do, they did agree Thrax may be anomalous and if proven would be locked up as a Euclid-class anomaly. Thrax was enraged by being declared a "mere" Euclid, and plans to up his game until he's at least Keter-class. To achieve this Fame Through Infamy his first set of orders is to gut the Halls of Healers and Physicians. They're currently working on a vaccine to eliminate him.
- The SCP Foundation considers it important that Thrax never learns about any pathogen-based SCP like SCP-008 or 610/The Flesh That Hates less he try to "upgrade" himself. And letting SCP-353 ascend is right out because the two would make fast friends. Unfortunately Thrax made fast friends with one notorious SCP; SCP-106. The latter uses rot instead of heat and fever to kill his prey, but like Thrax he's a sadistic Serial Killer who doesn't like the Foundation. Since the Old Man is a rotting corpse he's immune to any backstab Thrax might attempt. Before the Foundation could apprehend the both of them Fabius Bile stepped in to open them temporary asylum. He's very interested in Thrax's deadliness and has offered him a deal; let him study the Red Death, and he'll aid Thrax in becoming a more transmissable disease. The virus was quick in recognizing the agent of Chaos had similar goals; Fame Through Infamy.
- Thrax's frustration with the SCP Foundation grew when he learned of SCP-500
, which can cure absolutely anything. Fortunately for him they're in limited supply, but he still wants all of them destroyed. This rage only grew when they informed Mario of him and as Dr Mario he's researching a new cure for the Red Death. The attention later got the Green Lantern Corps of all people on his ass, since he reminds them of a rather nasty Sinestro Corps member; Despotellis, a sentient virus and genocidal maniac. Guy Gardner had the most trouble with Despotellis so he was especially angry with Thrax. Despite the frustration Thrax was happy to learn of Despotellis and is intrigued by becoming part of the Sinestro Corps, however Sinestro isn't interested in him. Plus it's not like Thrax is The Dreaded, despite his attempts to be so.
- His nasty clawed fingers reminded some people of Freddy Krueger, which he considers a bit compliment. Though they have different modus operandi and Thrax's Faux Affably Evil is more suave than Freddy's coarse, he does appreciate his "art". Freddy usually looks at fans derisively but recognizes Thrax isn't trying to get in the way of him and is fine watching. Their mutual egos mean bickering about their kill list is inevitable, but given they're two monsters it comes off as downright civil; Usually Thrax just competes with the serial killers in the pantheon.
- As he is a Serial Killer, albeit a unique example from a human perspective, the Red Death is wanted by most of the House of Law and Justice. The Emotions also want him gone given their role as being in charge of the mind and personality of the body, however he didn't think much of them as he targets the physical and not mental attributes of the body...at least until the Red Death caught on how they could influence the body to take better precautions against his spread. Also, it's worth mentioning out of the Eight Travelers Thrax considers Alfyn the biggest pain as she's concocted a potion to cure plagues. His willingness to target kids only intensified her hatred of the virus.
- Thrax isn't exactly sure how he feels about Morpheus. He never openly admits it, but he finds it to be really creepy how they happen to sound exactly alike. Naturally Morpheus regards the Red Death as an abomination. To fight him he has exploited one of the very few things Thrax fears; alcohol, the same substance that caused his Family-Unfriendly Death. The Red Death has shown a reluctance to deal with that house, and a lesser reluctance to deal with the House of Madness and Insanity. The latter is not wanting to deal with more disturbance than Frank's subconscious.
- Because Thrax is microscopic in size, he's difficult for almost anyone to throw hands with without risking whatever body he happens to be in. This is why out of the many superheroes, he considers Hank Pym and Ray Palmer's ability to get down to his level a massive pain in the ass. Polneraff and Kakyoin can manage fighting him by shrinking down their Stands. Ultron suggested he could help Thrax deal with them, which he agreed but was surprisingly hesitant to do so. After all, he wants a human audience for his infamy and a world of only Ultron's machine would put a damper on that.
- While not outright banned from the House of Childhood and Adolescence, he isn't well-liked there because one of his victims was a girl who didn't wash her hands. Of course Thrax doesn't discriminate in who he goes up against like grown adults or old people so long as he makes sure he keeps his winning streak, so kids aren't in any less danger against him like anyone else. Despite Melman's justified fear of the Red Death he's not interested in transferring to giraffes, but this is only because killing humans grants far more notoriety. And while a Serial Killer he doesn't like Eddie Low, but again this isn't because Even Evil Has Standards; he just thinks his impulsive crimes are those of a childish little shit and he'd be damned if the Keep-Fit Killer overshadows him in the news.
- There's one human he refuses to infect, however: the Demoman. Again, this has nothing to do with standards but Pragmatic Villainy; the Demoman's such an alcoholic his body can ferment the stuff.
- Has a passing interest in the Hall of Forms of Immortality. While he hasn't tried to do anything yet, Thrax takes any immortal as a challenge to prove they aren't and gain notoriety by taking them out. The Red Death is a fever that leads the body temperature rising without end, and even if that doesn't kill them he imagines it can't be pleasant; so a fun night for him. His time loitering around in the House of Life and Creation got him the attention of SCP-040, whom he finds a major pain due to her ability to manipulate biology and take him down, and Darth Plagueis, who noticed they both shared the Diseased Name trait but otherwise looks at him with mere clinical scientific interest. Thrax personally finds the Sith associated with healing and life-creation to have an unfitting moniker.
- He's quite amused by how many fans of the movie consider him stylish and even sexy, however he gets livid when they ship him with Osmosis, something gods like to troll him with. For once, him and Ozzy are in agreement they consider the pairing disgusting, though only Thrax will try to murder whoever brings it up. His mood was improved when people compared him to Hexxus in the charisma side, and the Red Death admits the dude is as suave as him. There's a more practical side to their friendship, of course; the pollution Hexxus brings weakens people's health, making them more susceptible to Thrax.
I know this is rather absurd as I'm just here to comment about it but...I think that we can "Improve" the issues of the GUAL being a fully Villainous faction despite being Lawful Neutral instead of Lawful Evil without a need to fully sideline the Law-aligned angels.
One of the issues of the GUAL is that it lumps SMT Law (whose meanings are surprisingly diverse from game to game, to being "The Mysterious West" to Conservativism to Egalitarianism to Global Hegemony to, via Word of God, The Jews—Yeah, that is genuinely something said for the Devs) and whatever other settings consider to be Law, which leaves the open door to very big Lawful Evil Opressors as Lawful Good characters are...rarely pro-active in that class of stories, or if active, they're genuinely Status Quo Warriors instead of searching Absolute Hegemony like SMT!Law.
Then the pages have moments that are genuine OOC even for YHVH's being the Lawful Evil deity as he is on Megaten. Like YHVH being outraged by the protagonists of La-Mulana killing The Mother, which is a scenario that makes no sense as that Godess is far closer to YHVH's enemy Mem Aleph.
Like, a Archetypical nature-based Mother Godesses with plans to destroy humanity or radically alter them being murdered is something that YHVH would aprove in nearly all SMT settings, if not doing it himself as he is implied to have done during his rise to power in games like Strange Journey, where YHVH having fought against archetypical mother godesses is the plot.
This confusion caused by the mixing of DND alignments and SMT alignments is also obvious in the GUAC, where many notorious anti fascists are considered to be respected for Lucifer...when SMT! Lucifer's first appareance was instructing Lilith to aid the military coup of General Gotou, who is based on the IRL Neo Fascist Yukio Mishima and share the same combination of Uber Reactionary Social Views.
This is also a really weird case of Characterization Marches On with Lucifer, as SMT isn't fully sure if make him the Chaos representative or a Neutral-aligned good guy as done in both V and SJ Redux.
Like, Lucifer in V is outright supportive of the Law ending of that game because even such scenario works with his ambiguous goal of "ending the cycle".

Watch me destroying my country
for Vexus and Thrax.
@The Bad Piggies: The Great Maccao among the pack-hunting monsters may be a rival due to it also wanting to eat up whatever eggs the Pigs may take. The Cuccos are also a group of chickens that they shouldn't try to anger, let alone steal eggs from. Eli Bacon is a pig wrestler. The Sorceress stole dragon eggs, but to harvest the baby dragons' wings for immortality.

KILL CONSUME MULTIPLY CONQUER@ Kazuya Profile: It's times like these which make me wish the Restructure thread was still up. I get why it was closed since not many people were using it, but what you're saying sounds like it'd fit there
Excessive Menace suggested SCP-2521 get its trope changed to No-Dialogue Episode as its entry contain no words whatsoever, only images. This is to reinforce its gimmick of stealing any written and verbal information about it for some reason, but it's unable to understand pictoral information. I wish to improve my profile of 2521 in general because I feel it's one of my underdeveloped profiles, even if people prefer it be The Spook

Alright, time to propose these guys again:
- Rindo Kanade, God of Powered Pins
- Possible House: External Power Sources
- Reason: Rindo is the main character of the sequel to hit RPG The World Ends with You, where the characters receive their Psychic Powers from Pins. He, like the rest of the Players, is able to use all kinds of Pins for all sorts of purposes. Considering this trope originally belonged to Neku, it is only fitting that it is passed down to his successor.
- Linne and Seth, Co-Gods of Reverse Grip
- Possible House: Weapon Wielding
- Reason: Linne, from Under Night In-Birth, wields Mumei and Nanashi, a BFS and a knife, while Seth wields the Eliminators, a pair of oddly-shaped daggers, and in both cases, they use them both at once, one in each hand. What qualifies them as the Gods of this trope is that they, rather impressively, manage to skilfully and consistently wield them both in Reverse Grip at all times.

It is I, the narrator, categorising addict and writer of books you haven't read.![]()
Perhaps it would be better if either the main playable cast of either two games get The Pin Is Mightier Than the Sword? And in case the first game is favored for the trope, then maybe Present-Day Past for NEO?
@Bad Piggies: I can understand of some of their allies and enemies, like them wanting to eat Flumpty, only for him to decide to put them through the wringer with one of his games, which, of course, the Pigs would have no chance of winning. But, of course, how would members of the Empire and the Deceptions act to the Pigs impersonating them?
Check out my fanfiction account here!Quick rework suggestion:
The Creepers for Suicide Attack
Reason: The resident Mascot Mook of the game, The Creepers only method of attack is sneaking up on unsuspecting players and blowing themselves up, the explosion usually being powerful enough to oneshot them and destroy any terrain surrounding them, including buildings. Also, their profile hasn't aged very well, being filled with lackluster texts and memes involving them.
Finished with Ittle and Tippsie. Now accepting votes.
Ittle Dew and Tippsie, Co-Godesses of Line Boils

- Symbol: Ittle's Stick
- Lesser Gods
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Portfolio: Punny Names, Adventure Duo, Very Trope Savvy, Prone To Lampshading Cliches As A Result, Sequence Breaking, Solving Utterly Fiendish Puzzles
- Ittle Dew: Kid Hero, Brilliant, but Lazy, Tomboy

- Annoyed By: Stanley's Narrator, Honey Hug, Black Mage, Don Quixote
- Interested In: The Legendary Titans, Master Hand
- Ittle Dew and Tippsie are a pair of travelers that generally seek one thing: Adventure. Spending most of their time floating on a raft in the middle of an ocean, their adventures generally go like this: the duo end up crashing on an island, breaking their raft in the process, find out that said island not only contains a great treasure, but also happen to contain pieces to build a new raft, they set off to plunder the island of its ritches and leave. They also usually happen to contain many puzzles to solve, most of varying difficulty. What happens during said adventures is a different story: from inadvertently playtesting the dungeons of a wealthy item carver to fighting off a cranky island caretaker and even unraveling a (rather half assed) government conspiracy), the two have always came out of them victorious, ready for whatever life would throw at them next.
- Initially, they didn't treat their arrival to The Pantheon as anything special, they simply washed ashore of its beaches, found out an overcomplicated way to get a new raft, and went on an adventure involving collecting the materials to craft a new raft. However, during said adventure, Ittle noticed that the strange realm was packed with potential new dungeons to explore and treasure to loot, which their raft quest was only showing a silver of said locations. So as soon as the duo collected the necessary materials, Ittle managed to convince an initially reluctant Tippsie with the promise of infinite health potions, and after figuring out about the places title system managed to snag Line Boils for themselves, thanks to her home realm retaining the artstyle even in 3D. The two now sail the realm's oceans, waiting to find an oppertunity for adventure.
- The first real interaction the two had during their adventures was with the Epic Battle Fantasy Team, a group of adventurers notorious for pointing out and snarking about nearly everything they come across. Since Ittle and Tippsie had similar mindsets regarding their quests, the two groups instantly hit it off, with both parties casually discussing their journeys and how oddly frequent certain aspects were. While Ittle generally likes to work with Tippsie only, ever since then she occasionally tags along as the obligatory Guest-Star Party Member, her puzzle solving skills proving useful to the team.
- A bit afterwards, Ittle was once sleeping while floating on her raft, only to be awakened by the sound of a ship pulling up next to her. It was Toon Link, an incarnation of the heroic Link, who mistook Ittle and Tippsie as being stranded and was offering to give them a ride. An annoyed Ittle had to explain that, no, she was not helplessly stranded on a raft, that was just her perferred method of travel. Still, since she was bored out of her mind, she accepted the ride anyways just to do something. This turned out to be a good idea, as during the ride she was facinated by Link recounting his first adventure, which Ittle thought was much more exciting than her usual low stakes dungeon trips. The two frequently crossed paths ever since, with Ittle looking forward to whatever cool adventure Link was willing to tell her about.
- After some misadventures involving a shovel and a metal detector, the two somehow managed to find themselves in Apature Labs and were confronted by its current guardian, GLaDOS, who invited them to solve some puzzles for a "prize". Ittle, thinking that the whole test thing wasn't much different from the antics of her friend Itan Carter, agreed out of boredom, only to find herself even more bored upon realizing that the whole thing was exclusivley puzzle-based without anything to break other than the occasional fragile turret. It was only when GLaDOS eventually attempted to murder the two, the whole encounter having been an elaborate ploy to kill the intruders, did she actually start having fun, managing to beat the psychotic AI and escape. She's still pretty sour over the lack of a prize, though.
- A simular incident happened involving The Narrator under the same circumstances, with the disembodied storyteller promising them an "unforgivable adventure", and Ittle going along out of boredom. While the resulting "story" had little to no dangers or traps, the sheer lack of action or anything "breakable", alongside her disliking the linear "progression" of the story, bored her even more than before, and in turn started lampshading and criticizing any plot point she could find just to get at least some enjoyment out of the experience. Both parties would leave with unflattering opinions of each other, with Ittle and Tippsie calling the narrator a pretentious snob while the Narrator thought they were brats that don't appreciate a good story. That said, the Narrator can't help but feel like hes seen the two on a picture before...
- A particularly odd day had Ittle and Tippsie overhear an incredibly bizzare song
whenever they found a secret area. Considering that the duo have basically made it their free time to finding these areas, they ended up hearing it a lot throughout the day. While Ittle thought it was hilarious the first couple of times, the next 15-20 times she started getting sick of it. Eventually reaching her boiling point, she managed to track down the source of the song, a gigantic space bear named Honey Hug, and started yelling at him to "cut it out", threatening to call a Bear Miner on him before storming off. Honey wasn't exactly sure what a Bear Miner was, but he didnt like the sound of that, so he stopped bugging the two for now.
- It should be noted that, while she generally perfers smashing everything in sight, Ittle is actually fairly intelligent when it comes to puzzles, having bested two separate islands cralwing with challenging puzzles, a few of them having some strange and obscure steps and solutions. While she generally doesn't seek them out, she's recently heard of the Legendary Titans, a trio of pokemon that can potentially obtained by solving a series of logic defying puzzles, and, thinking that having access to a couple of powerful monsters would be really cool, is planning to locate and capture the beasts for herself. So far, the only thing that's stopping her is the fact that she doesn't have a flying pokemon, as she's already mapped out and figured out the solutions to the puzzles. She's currently saving up to buy some pokeballs to catch both a flying pokemon and the Regi Trio themselves.
- Tippsie, Itlle's sarcastic Fairy Companion, is shown to be addicted to health potions, with many gods comparing it to that of acohol addiction. The duo's most recent adventure had her in withdrawl due to a lack of potions anywhere (Thanks to Ittle secretly swiping any she finds just to mess with her), so by the time they arrived at the Pantheon she immediatly set out to find if anyone or anywhere has any decent potions to drink. Luckily for her, it did: The Monster Hunters, as well as survivors Steve and Alex, regularly brew potions of various effects to aid in their adventures, including healing potions. Ever since encountering them, Tippsie is often seen trading with them for some quick potions, with Ittle often popping in to converse with them, seeing as they're fellow adventurers.
- That said, her addictions have lead to some conflict with some gods. Encountering the sociopathic Black Mage, the two can often be seen bickering over the quality of potions, as BM despises the taste of them and compares it to "cheap coke", with said arguments often going on for hours on end. She also had an encounter with the infamously insane Don Quixote, who claims to have created an all healing elixir and offered one to the fox, only for her to end up with stomachaches and vomiting issues for the rest of the day.
- Ittle was one of a handful of characters to have visited Slap City, a small town that thrives off of the regular tournaments and fights that happen there. During said visit, she ended up encountering and thwarting a devious plot from the mayor, who plotted to weaponize the "hitstun" technique to freeze the world and rob as many banks as he wants, ending up stealing his riches afterwards. Ittle, being a fan of beating the crap out of random enemies, generally enjoyed the frantic and chaotic fights that she participated in and decided to see if there was anything like it in the Pantheon. Luckily, there was: the Super Smash Bros tornaments, hosted by Master Hand, are incredibly simular to Slap City, from the arenas to the methods of elimination. Ittle has since frequently asked the enigmatic floating hand of she could one day join the tornaments, and while Master Hand has put her on a "wait and see" list consisting of hundreds of simular requests, he appreciates the enthusiasm and welcomes her to spectate, which Ittle admits is better than nothing.

- Most Pokémon, at least in the game, share a generic green-spotted eggshell design. The sea angel/clione Manaphy instead has a sea-blue egg with a red center and yellow dots similar to its appearance as a grown Pokemon. It is also the only mythical recorded seen coming from an egg, and being capable of breeding in a Pokémon daycare (albeit only with Ditto and producing the weaker Phione). Born on a cold seafloor, it will swim great distances to return to its birthplace. It has a wonderous power to bond with any kind of Pokémon. The species is 80% water, making them highly affected by their environment.
- This Manaphy has been identified as the grown up version of the very same one from the ninth Pokemon movie. Choosing that Manaphy was partly brand recognition, and partly because the Seafaring Pokémon arrived here after actively seeking out its mother figure May. It has decided to identify as male as while it is genderless, it is known as the Prince of the Sea. He continues to guard the sea temple of Samiya and prevent people from trying to steal the Sea Crown. The area serves as his temple, and the Mythical has expanded his communication skills with others from the same 'verse.
- Because of the rarity of Manaphy and the valuables of Samiya, Pokémon Hunter J considers stealing from it and putting Manaphy on the black market incredibly profitable. With the ability to bond with any Pokemon, J's sheer heartlessness befuddles and horrifies the Prince of the Sea. Giovanni has also regarded the Mythical as little more than a source of profit, and Manaphy is greatly disturbed by what Lysandre has in store or the lows Ghetsis sinks to. By contrast, former villain Archie is deeply fascinated by the Prince of the Sea and Samiya, and has sworn to protect it as part of his redemption.
- He's generally happy to meet up with Ash again for his part in saving the day, and was impressed to learn he eventually obtained his own Mythical Pokémon in the form of Meltan/Melmetal. Manaphy has remained grateful for the Pokémon Rangers for their organization's part in helping it. Cynthia was invited to explore Samiya so she can better understand the land and Manaphy. Water-type Pokémon are usually welcome, especially Relicanth who's experienced with ancient ruins given its connection with the Regis. One of Manaphy's friends is Nebby, a baby that grew up to an even stronger Olympus Mons.
- The species Manaphy takes inspiration from, the sea angel, is the same kind of obscure sea slug that the Sea Angels represent. He's implied that the Phione serving as his herald was the result of time with a Sea Angel, though he might just not want to admit to meeting with Ditto; whether Phione is considered Mythical is often disputed, but the connection prevents them from being used in tournaments. The Prince of the Sea's relationship with the Sea Angels remains more casual than anything, however. Sometimes he likes to bring Phione to join in the fun of Splatfest or associate with their fellow mollusks. The squid girl Ika Musume tried to use the situation as one of her schemes, but the Prince of the Sea couldn't take her seriously and was just amused by her antics.
- Manaphy quickly associated the People of the Waters the sea temple of Samiya to the tales of many seafaring societies with sea-based ruins, but being relatively young for a Mythical admits there's still more he needs to find out about them. To aid him in this, Manaphy picked Milo Thatch as a partner because of his research on Atlantis and important role in saving it from greedy villains like Commander Rourke. After their meeting, both King Triton and Arthur Curry went on a diplomatic appointment to Samiya and congratulated the Prince of the Sea for how well he's managed to run the sea temple despite his youth. The two have since advise him further on his duties as Prince of the Sea.
- Orm is well-aware of Manaphy's bond with his brother and he wants to get the Mythical on his side, being genuinely friendly and giving him advice on how to rule. While Manaphy appreciates this, he knows about Ocean Master's villainy and fraught relationship with his half-brother so he doesn't trust him. They were in agreement that Black Manta is a blight on the ocean, and he'd certainly try to kill him and May just to spite Aquaman. Manaphy's relationship with Princess Ruto was a lot less difficult due to her being genuinely heroic, and being next in-heir of the Zora's leadership.
- Ursula is currently seeking to take control of Samiya as her new base of operations. While Manaphy is a Mythical Pokémon, he is still considered young and it's not like the People of the Water are around anymore so he needs help to stop the Sea Witch from usurping his position. Said help would come in Rikuo the fish-man, and Ponyo who's similarities to Ariel has long since played into her opposition with Ursula. Aiding the villain was Tamatoa, who was promised half the "shi—-nees" of Samiya and Anago, who wants to take a Manaphy-like role so his plans of a cult will gain more ground than if it was just him alone.
- Doesn't like pirates. While some like Luffy and his friends are exceptions to the rule, Manaphy is distrustful of them because of the pirate Phantom having tried to steal him as an egg and steal the Sea Crown from Samiya. The Flying Spaghetti Monster took umbridge at this since pirates are holy to his noodly appendages and not the villains people think they are. The Pastafarian god continued to try and convert the Mythical to his way of thinking, much to Manaphy's annoyance, and that annoyance was only fueled when Samiya got flooded by pasta sauce because the Flying Spaghetti Monster squeezed the cannister too hard after shaking it.
- Manaphy's (former) signature move is Heart Swap, which swaps stat changes with the opponent using the ends of their head-tails. Another use of this power is the ability to swap people's souls with one another. Upon hearing about this Spongebob got the idea he could try and make Squidward less of a grump by walking a mile in his shoes, and did it in exchange for a free Krabby Pattynote . This went terribly for Squidward since he got jealous at "Squidbob" getting the hang of and being a great clarinet artist while he failed to inherit Spongebob's fry cooking skills and was annoyed by Patrick more than usual. He's still salty about it to this day.
- By nature Manaphy is a highly empathetic Pokémon that tends to get along with anyone in the Hall of Aquatic Life. Sure he has enmity with Bruce and the Kraken, but only because they keep trying to eat him. The SCP Foundation have observed the Prince of the Sea laughing hysterically after some Friendly Tickle Torture by SCP-999, followed by general cuddles and affection along with the Seafaring Pokémon respecting the blob's immense compassion. The Foundation has so far demonstrated restraint from using Manaphy's Heart Swap on SCP-682, since even if it works it's possible the new personality in 682 might become like the lizard's.
- Because Manaphy lives in a sea temple and is 80% water, he holds a mortal terror of the Flood and the absolute catastrophe that'd break out if it infected him. He's almost as afraid of SCP-169 since it's an impossibly large sea arthropod who's awakening would be disastrous. The Seafaring Pokémon has come to tread more carefully after learning about Cthulhu and the Kraeken as well, and nobody blames him. It should also go without saying Manaphy avoids any plant or electricity-related gods, and he's no fan of Octogeddon for destroying human monuments for mere insults and the existence of calamari.
- Due to being native to the sea, Manaphy hates blatant polluters like Mr Burns and especially Hexxus as they would ruin the sea if they win. Mr Burns is a bit confused by this since he thought netting sea creatures into slurry was good for the government and something the Pokémon might appreciate. In order to protect the environment better Manaphy has been supporting Captain Planet. One of the first things they did together was punish Rusty for how awful he is as a Pokémon trainer. Other enemies include any poacher given his rarity and how he already feels about Hunter J, and Surtr who wants to burn the world and regards any water-based being as a nuisance in the way of that goal.
