Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

So, Pangu's trope is Giant Corpse World. Would it be alright if he also had a profile in Death Archetypes?

- Friendly Rival: Lord Voldemort, The Beast (General Immortus)
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Princess Morbucks
- Enemies: All Heroic DC Comics Deities, especially Garfield Logan and the ascended Teen Titans, the GUAG, All Heroic Marvel Comics Deities, Most of the GUAD, especially Nekron and Death Phantom, The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, The Daleks
- Monsieur Mallah: Silica, Koba, Frieza
- Madame Rouge: Monkey D. Luffy
- On speaking terms with: The House of Love (The Brain and Monsieur Mallah)
- The Brotherhood of Evil was founded by the Brain after he had his body destroyed by an explosion arranged by Niles Caulder, though he was rescued by Monsieur Mallah. It is an organization with two purposes. Take Over the World and destroy Caulder and the Doom Patrol as well as anyone else that would dare oppose them.
- Ascended to the Pantheon when the Brain, who happened to be one of Dr. Gero’s followers, decided that he was no longer content with his position and launched a carefully planned attack with Monsieur Mallah, other members of the Brotherhood of Evil and some Mecha-Mooks. It was eventually stopped, but they were all ascended under Brotherhood of Evil afterwards by Melkor, much to the displeasure of many...which also happened to be exactly what they were counting on.
- As Madame Rouge’s main incarnation turned against the Brotherhood of Evil, it has been decided that the version of her from the Teen Titans universe would be included instead. The rest of the Brotherhood of Evil have been watching her carefully to make sure that she doesn’t get replaced by her comic incarnation. On the other hand, there are many villains from the Teen Titans universe that are serving as their heralds, though the one most commonly seen working with the Brotherhood of Evil on some of their plans is Professor Chang.
- They absolutely d e t e s t those who would manipulate others into betraying their allies due to what Captain Zahl did to Madame Rouge. None have earned their scorn more than the Death Phantom, who immediately went to work trying to manipulate them into turning against each other and helping him kill everyone, his Mind Manipulation abilities allowing these attempts to sometimes temporarily succeed. It has gotten to the point where he and the rest of the Brotherhood are willing to pull an Enemy Mine with the Sailor Senshi against him, especially after learning of his goals.
- Davros was amused to learn that the Brain's casing was somewhat designed off of that of the Daleks in one universe. The Daleks, while interested in potentially exploiting him for his intelligence, have made it clear that they want to kill him too...which isn't surprising, really. The Doctor has been keeping an eye on the Brain because of this.
- Became allies with Shocker and HYDRA due to the three all being evil organizations with world conquest in mind. The Brain sees this as a great opportunity to destroy heroes to a greater extent than ever before, while the Great Leader and Red Skull don’t mind the company, if only because he is great at planning. As it started off as a regular crime syndicate before becoming a full-blown villainous organization, they are also associating themselves with Giovanni. The Brain finds Ghetsis’ plans of manipulating the Unova Region to ensure nobody could challenge his plans to conquer brilliant and believes him to be much more intelligent than the other villains from his world.
- The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, surprisingly enough, have a relationship with each other and because of this they are sometimes seen in the House of Love. One day, they met one of Queen Beryl’s heralds, Jadeite, who announced to the two that she wished to meet them. They agreed to meet with her and Jadeite smirked, knowing that his queen would be pleased. The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, upon learning that Queen Beryl desires a relationship with Mamoru Chiba, have decided to help her.
- The Brain has remained on good terms with Dr. Gero even after the ascension of the Brotherhood of Evil and is currently getting help from him on making potential countermeasures against Son Goku, who he sees a very great threat to his plans. He would’ve been allies with Frieza, but his Fantastic Racism lead him to attack Mallah, something that the Brain didn’t like at all.
- The Brain eventually declared that the Brotherhood of Evil would be allying themselves with Melkor and the GUAE. Madame Rouge has become a headache for the other alliances to deal with as her ability to shapeshift into others and mimic their voices makes it hard to tell if its her or not. Unlike other shapeshifters like Queen Chrysalis, she is actually more than capable of pretending to be the person she transforms into. Given Chrysalis was already quite good at imitating Cadance...
I feel like Monsieur Mallah should have an interaction with Gorilla Grodd.

Perhaps something with Captain Cold and Eobard Thawne. The former also leads a supervillain team known as The Rogues, though they actually have a set of principles and standards that they adhere to + they are more comfortable doing everyday crime than aiming for world domination. Thawne at one point led an iteration of the Legion of Doom recruiting Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn and the aforementioned Captain Cold to retrieve a scepter that would allow them to rewrite reality and history, but Thawne turns out to be a shitty leader who couldn't give a crap about his subordinates, who hate him back not long after.
Anyway, revamps are complete. The House of Costumes is now represented by The Clothing Trendsetters and The Ominous Garbs.

- Allies: Harth Stonebrew
- Rivals:
- Enemies: Love Machine, Tirek, Esdeath
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that have various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.) other than allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Respected by/Respects:
- Pitied by/Pities:
- Opposed by/Opposes:
- Conflicting Opinion:
- When it comes to Party Games, finding a candidate was a difficult task given how loose the definition of it is, apart from being multiplayer, accessible, good for parties, and mostly encourage fun over competition. And then one day, Mario and Princess Peach approached the Court of the Gods with a candidate.
- It all began when a midget of a little girl (who already had someone else's melon in hand) got in the middle of lunch between Mario and Peach and took the latter's cake. The pair (plus Eryi) pursued her into a portal, which took them to all manner of dimensions, where they faced off against all manner of characters, such as a dog girl with love for pudding, a Santa bunny girl, a super-fast Super-Soldier, a rocket-firing aviatrix, and a soft-spoken Super-Soldier, playing games with each of them and their companions along the way. Eventually, they reached the midget's master, who introduced herself as "Magical Tomomo, the Great Ruler of Darkness", and issued one last challenge before they can retrieve what Marie Poppo stole. Since the game board they were on could only accommodate four, Mario stepped up to the plate and faced off against the mastermind, her minion, and a megane school boy "self-proclaimed protagonist" named Kai.
- After achieving victory, once the items were returned (and Eryi immediately leaving), Peach asked Tomomo about her motives, and the "Magical Girl" explained her story. When she heard of the Trope Pantheons (somehow), Tomomo decided to send out Marie Poppo to investigate it. And so a brief series of thefts occurred, though many of them ended with Marie Poppo's neutralization, which was fine since she had plenty of them to spare. She learned of the tropes available, and decided that Party Game would be the best fit for her and her game. As for why Marie Poppo stole from Mario and Peach (Eryi's was unplanned), she heard of the Mario Party games and wanted the evaluation of her game from those experienced in such games.
- Verdict: They were actually satisfied with her dice (plus card) game, and (after she explained what exactly the other characters were) Mario and Peach escorted Tomomo to the Court of the Gods for her proper ascension.
- Upon becoming an official Pantheon goddess, Tomomo got to work on making a version of her game for Pantheon residents to play. Right now, there are two versions.
- The first one is essentially the same as the game players on Steam are playing right now. Players can participate, but have to take on "stats" of "default characters" based on Tomomo's renditions of Orange_Juice characters, including Original Generation-types such as herself, Marie Poppo, and Kai, among others. Tomomo takes part under "softened stats" since she's playing with friends there.
- The second is where the players themselves can take part with their own abilities, but will have to be nerfed or buffed for the sake of balance, and a screening process is required so that Tomomo can make sure there's a sense of fair play. As for her "stats" there, they'll be the same she has used in her match against Mario.
- No matter the version, three game modes are available: Normal, Co-Op, and Bounty Hunt
. In the second version's Co-Op, bosses can take the form of select adversaries seen in the Pantheon (after Tomomo gets their permission to use their appearance if possible), and new effects and decks to match.
- Of course, Tomomo doesn't stay in her domain all the time and goes out in the Pantheon to explore it to acquire more ideas for her game.
- (outside allies like Harth Stonebrew, disinterest from the Dealer)
- Tomomo has an alternate form called "Sweet Eater", one of six gods of sweets in her multiverse (aside from Sweet Eater, Natsumi, and QP upon ascending as the Goddess of Pudding), and is more powerful than her base form. She cannot access this form without assuming a weaker "casual" form first. At least in her board game.
- In the Pantheon, it's all but a power-up form for Tomomo; she just needs to get her hands on a bar of (Miracle) Red Bean Ice Cream first. However, if Tomomo is beaten as Sweet Eater, she reverts to her "casual" form, a la de-Digivolution. It would then take a while (and recharge of energy) before she can revert to her better known base form.
- While she's a Magical Girl, unlike most who get their powers in their (pre-)teens, Tomomo was granted her powers in her mid-20s by "Magical Devil" Mio, who did it because she wanted someone to hang out with her. Unfortunately, her idea of play involves a lot of pain, so Tomomo ditched her to create her board game world and all its denizens, their personalities derived from their real selves at the worlds they originate.from.
- As such, the GUAG Magical Girl Sisterhood eventually reached out to her with an invitation. Given her interests, she wasn't exactly jumping at the chance, but given the threats in the Pantheon that could mess with her game worlds in ways worse than Mio or Star Breaker, she's willing to lend a hand if she's around.
- Just like every magic-user, she's been told to avoid Tirek given his ability to absorb magic. And given what Tomomo is already capable of…
- As her "standard form" Hyper Card indicates, she's capable of performing a move called Magical Massacre, which comes in two variants.
- One, during a free-for-all, the move incapacitates all units in top (or close-to-top) condition (herself included if applicable), which then boosts the rate in which she gets back on her feet when she gets knocked out (even if it's by Magical Massacre).
- Two, when she's cooperating with allies against a single "boss-level" foe, the move deals damage to the "boss" for every incapacitated ally.
- For other engagements, Tomomo had to "experiment", given her games don't lend to much variations. So far, she saw that the first version also applied in battles against hordes and between teams, while the second version also applied against multiple "bosses", the damage being split between them.
- She also has a couple of other moves as seen from her cards that she can use here:
- First is Super All-Out Mode, which empowers the first attacks of everybody in the area, (though only for direct engagements, and does not count for area attacks).
- Second is Serious Battle, which sets herself and her opponent on equal footing in terms of offense, defense, and evasion (vitality remains the same, however) for a short period of time.
- And Marie Poppo, being Tomomo's minions, is always on call to assist her master (even if she can be just as much of an opponent in her board games), and possesses a few tricks of her own.
- Doesn't like those who would mess up her world to do as they please, especially if they want to make it bloody as her "mama" Mio did when she intruded on her game worlds.
- (hates blatant game hackers such as Love Machine)
- (being called out for rigging dice rolls in her favor in her boss battle, even though at least she's still beatable there)
- Is deathly afraid of Esdeath, who is a far, far, worse sadist than Mio, on top of the whole idea of perpetuating war just to satisfy her bloodlust.
Oolong, Patron Saint of Fighting Games (Lee)

- Returning to: Gaming Genres
-
s:
- Demigod
- Symbol: A photo of himself doing a flying kick on a gong
- Alignment: His game has so little characterization, so either True Neutral or Neutral Good
- Portfolio: herald of the first Fighting Game, preceding Street Fighter, prevailing over weapons-users without using weapons himself
- Domains: Kung Fu, Fighting
- High Priests: The Karate Champ fighters (as they are the first Fighting Game characters ever)
- Followers: Nearly every non-ascended Fighting Game combatant ever.
- Allies: Woolie, Son Goku, Bruce Lee
- Friendly Rivals: Ryu, all other Fighting Game gods, and many gods who have been featured in Fighting Games
- Not-So-Friendly Rivals/Enemies: The evil Fighting Game deities (e.g. M. Bison, Shao Kahn, etc.)
- There have been some who have complained why Ryu isn't the God of Fighting Games (aside from the fact that he already has a lot of titles under his belt). With Oolong's ascension, now it is known.
- His fighting game was the first to feature HP bars, fighting until KO, characters using different fighting styles, female fighters, groin attacks, changing music when HP is low, and more than one Victory Pose. Being a genre progenitor, that's why Oolong was able to take the spot.
- As for who he is, all that's known of him is that he was on a quest to become the Grand Master of Kung-Fu, honoring the memory of his illustrious father. In order to do that, he would have to face some of the most skillful martial artists in one-on-one battles. Apart from punches and kicks, he has great jumping ability, which would be his only edge over his foes as they use all manner of weapons (except for the last one, Blues, based on Bruce Lee, who fights unarmed just like Oolong).
- Since most of his opponents employ Hit-and-Run Tactics, putting up a good fight with many of the fighting game deities has become…quite difficult, with all their combos, zoning attacks, faster ranged attacks, and more advanced techniques. Now, it might be he who has to hit-and-run.
- To further improve his skills, he trains with many other deities in the other Houses, mainly the House of Combat, particularly Ryu, who has since become the face of Fighting Games.
- Upon hearing of his ascension, Son Goku thought someone familiar to him has arrived. He was mistaken, but the two became friends anyway.
- Given that one of his attacks lands on the opponent's family jewels, he's gotten the appreciation of Johnny Cage.

“Get Snuck-Up On.”Are these two ready to go?
Nana, Divine Patron Of Black Comedy Animal Cruelty (Bluehair)

- House: Beast Handlers (House of Beast)
- Demigoddess (Lesser Goddess when handling lions)
- Symbol: Her passport and handbag
- Alignment: True Neutral normally, acts Neutral Evil around lions
- Portfolio: Beating Of A Grown Lion Made Hilarious With Her Being An Old Lady, Never Mess with Granny, A Curmungonely Bad-Tempered Granny (unless you're human), Made of Iron, Girl Scouts Are Evil, Determinator, Possibly Jewish
- Domains: Elders, Animal Abuse, Comedy, Strength, Girl Scouts
- Herald: Her poodle Mr Chew
- Allies: Iggy, Courage the Cowardly Dog
- On good terms with: The Canines sub-house, girl scout deities, Muriel Bagge
- On speaking terms with: Tashkent (Pacific)
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Simba and his father
- Enemies:
- Feline deities: Anyone she considers a "bad kitty" Alex the Lion, Sabo, Scar, Katz, Dex-Starr, Teostra and Lunastra, the Hyenas, Team Rocket's Meowth
- Other: The Zoosters, the Penguins of Madagascar, Rusty, bad Russians (Nikita Dragovich, Vladimir Makarov, Colonel Volgin, Imran Zakhaev)
- Opposes: Cat deities in general, Eustace Bagge
- Uncertain on: Rubeus Hagrid
- Respects: Madame Foster, Olenna Tyrell
- Pities: CatDog
- The Zoosters initial break-out from the zoo was met with much resistance. Surprisingly one of these was an old lady simply known as Nana, who thought Alex was a "bad kitty" and started wailing on him. She remains one of his major enemies, and when she led a group of stranded tourists soon found him on her crosshairs. Despite their emnity she actually helped him out by punishing Makunga, seeing him as an even worse "kitty".
- Beating up animals is rarely funny, just despicable. But the audacity of an elderly women turning a grown lion into her Butt-Monkey is. That said Nana has stated she punishes bad kitties, not innocent animals. And for the most part, lions. Rusty's treatment of Pokemon thoroughly disgusts her and she started kicking his ass for a change, and there was much rejoicing.
- She holds a hatred of just about all lions because of her experience with Alex and Makunga, and above them all hates Scar because she reminds him of of Makunga. And calling him a bad kitty would be an understatement. While with Makunga she only put asides her enmity with Alex then and there, she was willing to set aside her lion hatred to work with Mufasa and Simba if it means punishing Scar. She regards them as good kitties, at least for lions.
- Shows no fear when facing off against lions. Amazingly, this includes Teostra and Lunastra. While she's certainly feisty and might hold her own for a few seconds, those she's on good terms with have advised her don't tassle with them as she isn't even that tough of a cookie. Nana didn't listen, but she also had her hands full with other "bad kitties" like Dex-Starr, Sabo, and especially Katz.
- Doesn't care much for cats regardless of their alliance, and given her overly violence response to them misbehaving the feeling is mutual. She might just be a dog person, given her fondness for her poodle Mr Chew. As a whole, she's cool with the Canines sub-house. She has some fondness for Courage the Cowardly Dog due to his Cowardly Lion nation, emnity with the really bad kitty Katz, and pity for how Eustace Bagge treats him. She tends to whack him with her purse, and there was much rejoicing.
- Also fond of Iggy, for having a cranky temperament but ultimately being a heroic dog. That, and he reminds her of Mr Chew. On the human side, she's found of Madame Foster and Olenna Tyrell for being cool grandmas who can kick a lot of ass. That said they aren't fond of her due to being a Jerkass, even if they're impressed by her combat skill. Muriel is more willing to invite her over and get along with her, though she's still a bit frustrated that she and Eustace don't get along.
- After punishing him during one of his more recent schemes, the Meowth under Team Rocket's employ became fearful of her. Ren used to fear Nana, as she assumed she would mistake him for a cat. However she identified him as a dog, and while doesn't care for Stimpy she does think he's a good kitty so left them alone.
- Even if Nana doesn't like cats all that much, she does feel sorry for Cat due to being conjoined with Dog. However, she feels more pity that Dog is conjoined with Cat, even if he minds less. She's not sure whether she should pity Rubeus Hagrid as he has a lot of dangerous animals to look after, but she feels he's too naive when it comes to handling things.
- Given her name and use of Yiddish, she might be Jewish. The House of Religion and Faith is still trying to confirm this. It is known she's Russian, and like most Russians believes that Colonel Dragovich, Volgin, Makarov and Zakhaev are a shame upon their nation. By contrast, she's cool with Tashkent even if she's couldn't care about politics, let alone communist ideology.
- She sometimes helps lost people in the House of Travel, having aided a group of tourists when they were stranded. Nana is also a supporter of the girl scouts in the pantheon, but that doesn't make her pleasant.
Capitaine Chantel Shannon DuBois, Goddess of Malevolent Animal Control Officers (Captain Chantel DuBois, Psychopath, Crazy Lady, That Horrid Woman)

- Note: Adopted from Mattman The Storyteller
- Potential House: Beast Handlers (House of Beast)
- Demigoddess
- Symbol: The Symbol on her hat
- Theme Song: Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien
- Alignment: Lawful Evil
- Portfolio: The best Diabolical Dogcatcher, Determinator, Implacable Woman, Authority Equals Asskicking, Ax-Crazy, The first unambiguously single main antagonist in the Madagascar franchise, The Dreaded, Vile Villain, Saccharine Show, Scarily Competent Tracker
- Domains: Animal Control, Hunting, Obsession
- Heralds: Her four henchmen
- High Priest: Chief Animal Containment Officer Trumper
- Allies: Captain Ahab, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam
- Working relationship with: Dr Neo Cortex (sometimes)
- Rivals: Cruella De Vil, Pokemon Hunter J, Dag, Scarface (The Predator)
- Enemies
- Animal deities: THE ZOOSTERS and THE PENGUINS, Shadow, Chance and Sassy, Moby Dick, Dex-Starr, Perry the Platypus, most Canines, Crash Bandicoot and friends, Old Yeller, Sabor, Bagheera
- Other: Travis Coates, Ash Ketchum, Old Yeller and Travis Coates, Lilo, Stitch and the other experiments
- Worthy Opponents: Alex the Lion, Bugs Bunny, the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, Mr Fox
- Opposes: Rusty, Groundskeeper Willie, Glass Joe
- Feared by: Many in the House of Beast
- Respects: Cerberus
- Capitaine Chantel Shannon DuBois had a cruel streak with animals from a young age. She's strangled a parrot, flushed a goldfish and mortally punched a snake. Some might wonder why she was permitted to be an animal control officer, but her perfect success record, incredible tracking skills and utter determination makes her a valuable member of animal control. This win record was broken by the Zoosters, and she took their altercation in the prestigious Monte Carlo a personal offense.
- Alex the Lion and his friends dreaded the day that DuBois would arrive, and she made her grand entrance by busting through a brick wall. She has a personal vendetta not just against them, but the Penguins of Madagascar for sealing her up in a box to Madagascar. Because of her occupation Chantel is trying to capture Shadow, Chance and Sassy. Given her extreme measures, she often has the House of Beast on edge.
- It was eventually revealed that Chantel DuBois had been ascended under the request of Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam. Impressed by her actions, they wanted to hire her so she may contain Bugs Bunny and get him out of their hairnote once and for all. With her incredible sense of smell, durable form and surprising seriousness, her pursuit of Bugs genuinely put him on the ropes. However the Karmic Trickster learned to exploit her own vendetta against Alex the Lion by distracting her with deciding to go after him or Alex. She stalled long enough for his trap to be sprung and a cage even she couldn't bust out of was dropped on her. Her response?
Chantel DuBois: "Well played."
- Occasionally Neo Cortex requests her aid to try and capture Crash Bandicoot and other animal foes of his. She couldn't care for his villainous goals and is only doing it for a paycheck. She was a lot more accepting of Captain Ahab's help in trying to deal with Moby Dick, although given his obsession for the white whale she's somewhat limited by what she can do there. Most of the time Captain Ahab has her help in other tracking purposes.
- DuBois has been compared to Cruella De Vil. While they are both cruel to animals, she is all about catching them to keep law and order, not turn them into fur coats. Not that she has a problem with Cruella's profession on a moral level, but she considers her occupation "getting in the way" of her own. DuBois has a similar feeling towards Pokemon Hunter J, however she has more respect for her due to being more competent than Cruella. Chantel is ultimately the least evil of the three, however Ash dislikes her like he does the other two due to her cruelty towards animals. Her willingness to kill the Zoosters out of a vendetta even when they return to their zoo suggests a few screws are loose.
- As they may try to hunt and/or eat animals she tries to contain, she regards Scarface and Dag as competition. She has more respect for Scarface as he's a competent hunter, however this respect isn't mutual and he doesn't get why she would consider him competition as Yajuta go after sentients like humans normally. Of course, it's possible that Chantel is merely attempting to rile him up.
- Given her trope, she's dreaded by the canines. However she is focused on animal control, so only goes after "rogues". She doesn't believe that Stitch and his "cousins" deserve the freedom they have as in spite of finding their one true place, seeing them as too dangerous. She feels the same towards Old Yeller, being paranoid that he will spread his rabies despite the nature of his and his owner's ascension eliminating that as an issue. Asides from canines, the bear Bagheera dreads her given his history with bad humans and poachers.
- One canine she doesn't have a problem with is Cerberus. She actually respects the beast for ensuring nobody escapes or barges into the underworld, helping contain people. Hades' beast couldn't care less about it. Chantel also regards Mr Fox are a particularly impressive and cunning foe; despite her consistent attempts to contain him for being a thief and wild fox, he manages to elude her and steals her food just to spite her.
- Chantel hates those who stereotype the French as Cheese-Eating Surrender Monkeys, such as Groundskeeper Willie who coined the term. For all her faults, DuBois is as far from cowardly or surrendering as you can get. She doesn't care for Glass Joe being an actually cowardly Frenchmen, however she is pleased to see later characterization has him drop said cowardice. She just wishes he could also become a better fighter.
- While most disapprove of Chantel's methods, there are a couple of beasts that her catching them is probably better. She thinks Dex-Starr poses a threat to people around him, as a cat with a Red Lantern ring is a very dangerous thing. Nobody minded her trying to contain the Killer Rabbit. Unlike most of the rabbit's victims Chantel emerged from his cave relatively unharmed. She's quite impressed by how fierce the lagomorph is, but she can't abide by being known as someone defeated by a rabbit. Most wouldn't mind her catching Sabo either.
- As bad as she is around animals, she thinks Rusty is worse. This is partly because has the gall to claim he's a great Pokemon trainer yet his actions directly contradict the claim. Chantel at least admits she's there to contain animals, not be kind to them, and for someone as competent as her his stupidity is incredibly obnoxious.

Btw, is there a deity with Playing Against Type?
Edited by Necromancer10 on Mar 26th 2021 at 9:51:11 AM
KILL CONSUME MULTIPLY CONQUERI was planning on ascending Terry Crews for Playing Against Type initially, since he is notorious for his Old Spice campaigns where in spite of his usual perceived role as the Scary Black Man or a tough action guy, he has a completely absurd and comedic performance when advertising Old Spice, but I just thought of a better idea.
Terry Crews: Awesomeness Is Volatile
Reason: Terry Crews in the Old Spice Body Wash commercials utilizes this to show the POWERRRRRR of Old Spice products through causing explosions through his screaming, manliness, and sheer enthusiasm, to the point where the explosions double as absurd reality warping.

KILL CONSUME MULTIPLY CONQUER
Hmm that sounds pretty tempting to have Terry around. And he's proven to be quite the upstanding and cool guy so yeah, he gets my
Cannon Fodder doesn't seem to be taken. Guess i'll suggest the following.
The AAHW. The agency is composed of the soldiers and mercs that Hank and other protagonists face during the course of the series and they are mostly there to die lol. If you aren't a named character like Sheriff, Jesus or Tricky, you are probably gonna die a quick death via Hank.
Uni catThank you all, they're up.
@ Playing Against Type: That feels like a tricky trope to pull off
I adopted these from Phantom Fire. Which do you agree with or have your own choice for the trope
- The Valeyard, God of Accusing People They Caused Their Companion's Deaths: In the "Trial of a Time Lord" arc, the Valeyard not only blames the Sixth Doctor for Peri's apparent death, but outright accuses him of routinely getting his companions killed. Of course, those who watched the series knows despite the life-threatening adventures very few companions die
- The Torchwood Three Team, Group Deities Of Being Hotter and Sexier: adopted from Phantom Fire. a spin-off of the Doctor Who series, Torchwood is more adult oriented and deals with both more sex-oriented tropes along with other mature topics and things too dark for the regular series
- Reverend Timothy Lovejoy, God of Hiding Behind Religion (House of Sinners, True Neutral)-Adopted from Phantom Fire. Lovejoy is a foil of sorts with the passionately religious Flanders. Though a reverend, he is burned out with faith and most of his actions are around money and influence. Such as when the Movementarians became popular he was about to pull Insurance Fraud on the church. He is religious, but he typically uses it as an excuse

Valeyard if the trope isn’t taken. Abstaining on the other two.

“Get Snuck-Up On.”

Been a while since I've done this so here I go...
If anyone has kept track of me, I've been doing some work in proposing new Halls and replacement/extension ideas for House Guardian Reps. For today, I'll be focusing on the latter.
My idea for Personality is currently on hold until the USS Enterprise Trio (Kirk, Spock and McCoy are done into a single group profile. Beyond that, I'd like to focus on the House of Costumes
From what I'm seeing, the name "The Costume Managers" is... misleading. Of all of them, the only one that actually fits is Rarity, but beyond that, outside of the pony herself, the remaining three themselves need reworks badly.
That said, I was thinking of replacements and settling for a new name. I'll be keeping Rarity. Cammy, Kaori and Kakashi can go to Fanservice Attires, Clothing Style and Headwear respectively.
I have two groups of three (good and bad) as the replacement idea. Here's what I've come up with...
The Good (The Clothing Trendsetters)
The Bad (The Ominous Garbs?)
- Albert Wesker
- Lockdown
- Malekith
WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!
