Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

- Any aspiring young trainer needs a starter Pokémon (or first partner Pokémon, to use the official term) to protect them in the wilderness. In Palette Town in the Kanto Region, Professor Oak gives new trainers a choice of three Pokémon to start with: the Grass/Poison-type Bulbasaur, the Fire-type Charmander, and the Water-type Squirtle. Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise are their respective final evolutions. Notable trainers who have used all three include Red and Ash Ketchum, though the latter started with Pikachu, and only his Charmander evolved. Calem and Serena also received one starter each, along with its final evolution's Mega Stone, from Professor Sycamore in Lumiose City, Kalos. Not only would they gain a Mega Evolution (with Charizard getting two), but the Galar region would award them a special Gigantamax form.
- Applies to them as a group
- Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle? First ever Pokémon to be owned a trainer, unless you're Ash. The oldest, and thus most iconic starters, the template to all future starters. The final forms of these Pokemon were initially seperate from one another, before eventually being gathered up in an epic confrontation with Pokemon Trainer Red, one Charizard can retail to you...well, OK more Red, as Charizard tends to talk in roars. The three walked so all other starters could run, and they've managed to keep up with running. The trio love to argue over who's the best choice out of them, but they also like to test their medal against "the new guy" of their type and jump at the chance of a Friendly Rivalry when a same-typed starter manages to ascend. Generally they're chill with Pokemon of any type, particularly if they're of the same type. Plenty of other trainers they're glad got ascended as well. Normally they have Overgrow/Blaze/Torrent as an ability, something all other starters usually had, but the trio have chosen to switch over to their Hidden Abilities via an Ability Patch.
- Red stands as one of few trainers to canonically have all three, and it's not until more recent regions that trainers can catch all three without trading. Even then, it takes some effort. Trainers who have wielded at least one member of their evolutionary tree include, among the ascended, Red, Ash, Blue and May. In different forms they've also dealt with a number of Pokemon villains. Something many have debated is which of them is the strongest. Wizard and Boomstick once created a simulation on DEATH BATTLE! between the three to prove once and for all which of them is the strongest, in a theoretical battle to the death. Though in order to make it fair, they had to change up the Pokémon's movesets to remove all trainer influence (including all EVs and TM-only moves). Venusaur was the first to fall, and Blastoise came out victorious. Both losers are looking forward to a rematch, especially Charizard, who hasn't forgiven Blastoise for the defeat.
- Besides Pokémon, the only group of Starter Mons in the Pantheon are the Spectral Familiars. The Kanto starters highly respect them, especially since they're all opposed to humans who've tried to exploit Pokémon. Since the Familiars lost most of their powers when they created the sanctuary, the Kanto Starters can go toe-to-toe with them in friendly battles. In particular, Charizard's aerial duel with the Spectral Eagle was a sight to behold; while Charizard focused on speed, the Eagle gracefully dodged his attacks. The Eagle ultimately won due to his Lightning Bolt attack giving him an advantage, but they both enjoyed it. The three are natural fits for the Hall of Trios, feeling a bit of kinship with Team Snakemouth. They are also a green, orange and blue group with unique attributes.
- The trio have become interested in the new ensemble of Robot Masters that have ascended. Robots from a platformer and mons from an RPG becoming curious about one another seemed random at first glance, but it goes a bit deeper; Robot Masters often use some element in their weapon and have a wide array of powers and personalities. Some of them have managed to become friends outright of individual Robot Masters, while others have started a rivalry with one another. Being strapped to the gills, Napalm Man wants to show his literal firepower overcomes Blastoise's water cannons, and the water-themed Wave and Pump Man want to prove they're better with the same element. Fire Man has a more amicable relationship with Charizard, wanting to show how his "flames of justice" will overcome Charizard's fire breath. Plant Man is interested in proving himself against Venusaur, the old handler of the Planimal trope, being that he is also part-flower. This is all their perogative; Dr Wily doesn't have any plan involving Pokemon in the woodworks, though knowing him that could change.
- Exclusive to Venusaur
- If people say that you can't mix plants with animals, show them Venusaur, one of the better known Planimals of the Pokémon world. It's a warty, quadrupedal... thing that carries a rafflesia-like flower on its back. While she doesn't have the most diverse moveset available, she makes up for it by her good Defense and Special Attack, which get better when she Mega Evolves and gains the Thick Fat ability, which halve damage from fire and ice attacks. The flower started as a bulb, which started as a seed put on its back after birth. Upon meeting up with the other starters, the Kaiju Biollante took the title of Planimal, and the Seed Pokemon admits she is a good example of it. However she's cautious around the Kaiju, though as Gigantamax Venusaur will be more willing to express her mind. As being bonded to a plant has been beneficial for her, she was upset at the fact Tim Barnett was cursed to being a still-thinking but immobile tree. If Old Bill Cole shows his face around her, he'll get a long-overdue response.
- Nobody knows what animal Venusaur is based on; is she a dinosaur? A toad? A lizard? Venusaur is a pretty strange creature — its Japanese name means "strange flower" — and she isn't giving any answers. Notable Venusaur in the Pokémon canon include May's and Saur. The Mob have used a Venusaur in their adventure through Kanto, and named theirs "Tux". Despite the name, she doesn't have anything with dinosaurs, so don't expect her to show up in the Hall of Mesozoic Beasts. The Hall of Prehistoric Beasts suspect an old Permian creature
sounding like her pre-evolutiuon isn't a coincidence, but officially it is. Though Mega Evolution can curtail her Fire and Ice type weaknesses, Psychic and Flying types still vex her. As such, she is cautious around those with Psychic Powers along with the Hall of Wind and Air.
- Venusaur is a frequent visitor to Yuuka Kazami's flower garden, and this led to them becoming friends. One day, Yuuka found a Venusaurite in her field, and felt a connection when she picked it up. This allowed Venusaur to Mega evolve, thus confirming their bond. They often visit the House of Plants on the large, and occasionally the Hall of Poison and Toxicity. In the case of the former, she's friends with deities who protect forests such as Shaymin and Treebeard. In the case of the latter, Venusaur are very aggressive against anyone who dares to harm the environment, so she hates Looten Plunder and Hexxus, who are well known for destroying forests. However, being a Poison-type, she's immune to being poisoned, though toxic attacks can go for neutral damage. Maybe she doesn't have the strongest toxins for a Poison type, but she is source of interest by poison wielders like Akame and the Red Viper, acknowledging that she's the very first Poison type released.
- Being a plant who draws energy from the sun, she gets along with solar deities such as Amaterasu and Princess Celestia. She prefers to be near places of strong sunlight like the Hall of Light and Brightness, both due to being a plant creature and through its Hidden Ability, doubles speed. Solar Man is pretty convenient for this, and using Sunny Day is beneficial for both of them. Bathing in the light of the kind Ezalor turns this bulky toad into a surprising speed demon, and being around Helios and Apollo was like Sunny Day+. The latter's ability to manipulate diseases was interesting as she was wandering how it could compliment her Poison typing. While a Wily Robot Master, Wood Man is a nature lover and he enjoys Venusaur's company, curious as to just what this "strange flower" is. The nature-loving Roz has become another friend of the "plant-phibian", enjoying the time in the forest she calls home.
- When it rains, it strengthens the smell of the flower on Venusaur's pack. Unlike actual rafflesia it's not carrion seeking a foul stentch, but a pleasant fragrance that attracts Pokemon. Poison Ivy finds Venusaur a remarkable Grass type, reminded of how she has become ponded with plant matter. As Gigantamax Venusaur, enough pollen is generating to grow flora around the mon, so that's a plus. Swamp Thing has a good relationship with Venusaur's strengthening of "the Green", though she stays out of any superhero/supervillain conflict as it's just not of particularly interest. She seems to be positive around Cagney Carnation, due to being an impressive flower, but Venusaur is otherwise content with simply gathering sunlight/nice soil and engaging in other battles. Oh, and getting into scraps with Mordremoth. The dragon keeps trying to hoard the jungles for itself and is very territorial, a thing that bothers all Grass types just wanting to enjoy the House they're more attuned to.
- Exclusive to Charizard
- Charizard is a dragon-like Pokémon (though not actually a Dragon-type) with a flame on the tip of its tail. This flame glows brighter if it's furious, which is often, because most Charizard are very aggressive. Its fire breath is said to be hot enough to melt boulders, and it can fly at altitudes well over a kilometer. It's also one of two Pokémon with two Mega Evolutions; Mega Charizard Y looks like a bigger version with torn wings, but Mega Charizard X is black with blue flames and exchanges its Flying type for Dragon. Notable Charizard in the Pokémon canon include Ash's, the member of Team ACT, Red's, Blue's, Salamè, Kiawe's, Alain's, and Leon's. Charizard is the most popular member of this trio, and is often put in the spotlight in both the anime and the games. It is said that this Charizard ascended by Mega Evolving to Mega Charizard X to take down Mewtwo, followed by breaking out as a solo fighter in the 4th Super Smash Bros. tournament. No one has yet to ask, but Charizard is allies with other fully-evolved Pokémon fighters such as Greninja, Lucario, and Mewtwo as a result.
- The partnership program first led him to Harry Potter, who is known for his kind and benevolent heart, and proved to be able to temper the battle-loving Charizard and steer him towards more heroic purposes. After facing a Hungarian Horntail, this fire-tipped-tailed "dragon" was more reasonable. He's also useful in countering Voldemort's fiendfyre. While they're no longer partners, Charizard decided to stick with Harry as an ally. Eventually Red encountered the three ascended Kanto starters, and challenged them to a triple battle with his non-ascended Kanto starters. Venusaur and Blastoise both had partners to help them mega evolve... but Charizard didn't, so he was the first to faint. Red took pity on him, so after the battle, he visited the Kanto starters in their temple and presented two mega stones to Charizard: a Charizardite X and Y. Charizard reacted to both (though not at the same time, of course), confirming his partnership with Red. Red's non-ascended Charizard is jealous. While Ash's Charizard famously fought an Articuno, the ascended Charizard sees Moltres as a rival. They're both Fire/Flying members of a trio, though they also share a hatred of the pesky Stealth Rock.
- Charizard travels the Pantheon to find new rivals to fight, but its favourite places are the Halls of Draconic Beings and Fire and Heat. However, he has enough common sense to avoid the Pantheon's most malicious dragons, such as Fatalis and Alduin. Sunny was intimidated by Charizard at first, partly because of his hot-blooded-ness and partially because he reminded her of Peril, a Wreathed in Flames dragon from her world with... issues. However, Sunny warmed up to Charizard once she realised he has no ill intentions. Charizard is annoyed whenever deities from the Hall of Draconic Beings call him a "fake dragon" or "not a real dragon", and makes sure to show up as Mega Charizard X as if to say "oh shut up about it already!" That being said, even if not in type he's considered a dragon by many there, and has managed to befriend more members present. It has given the Dovahkiin some side-eye; since Charizard is not an evil or unreasonable dragon he has no intention of hunting it, though the Flame Pokemon feels some caution is warranted. At the least, he takes pride that the famed dragon hunter considers him one, Mega Evolutuon or no.
- It's assumed by some that the reason Charizard wasn't Fire/Dragon from the get-go because of how overpowered it would make him; for one it would get rid of his weakness to water. Initially he was a candidate for the Fiery Salamander trope, though as some pointed out he was at most a salamander as a humble Charmandernote . The fiery part is certainly applicable, and Charizard likes to test his fire breath against Daenerys' draconic children. Despite the whole "firebreating dragon" thing he is on speaking terms with Smokey Bear. The reptile may like to prove himself against his Grass type but he doesn't want to start a forest fire. He finds Hestia to be good company, and he enjoys flying around the Flame Kingdom. Flame Princess finds a kinship, noting the flame on its tail as a sign of its life; if a Charmader's tail goes out, it means it has died.
- He's normally the only starter with a double weakness, that being to rock, so he rues and laments anyone who tries to exploit that. Of course the line between Ground and Rock is a vague one for non-Pokemon and he doesn't have to worry about deities like Toph wanting to cause trouble for no good reason. There are some Robot Masters more able to exploit their niche, but Wily or whoever else is ordering them around hasn't a reason to start a fight, so he's just keeping watch. In Alola, Charizard can be a Ride Pokemon that flies people across different towns and cities. The one in the pantheon has decided to loan itself out on occasion in the Hall of Air-Based Travel in exchange for useful items like Bottle Caps or Charti Berriesnote , which may not be the most efficient methods of transport but it is seen as one of the cooler ways.
- Exclusive to Blastoise
- Blastoise is a bipedal turtle with cannons in its shell. It uses these to spray pressurised jets of water that are said to be able to cut through steel and can reach over 50 metres (160 feet). Its weight makes it slow, but also allows it to withstand the recoil. Its pre-evolution, Wartortle, is said to live over 10,000 years. Notable Blastoise in the Pokémon canon include Blue/Gary Oak's, Blasty, the member of Team Hydro, and Tierno's. Blastoise doesn't like being with other lightning- or plant-based deities because he's weak to those elements, but he likes being with other water deities such as Aquaman, Percy Jackson, Kingdra, and Kyogre. Blastoise especially gets along with Feraligatr and Greninja (for the most part) due to them being final-stage water starter Pokémon, but he secretly resents the latter for replacing Squirtle in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
- One day, Maisie Farange and her adoptive parents visited a lake in the Pantheon, where they met Blastoise. A territorial Lagiacrus also lived in the lake, and attacked the humans it thought were invading its territory. Blastoise bravely fought the Lagiacrus, and Maisie rushed to hug him. Since Maisie always loved turtles — she used to have one as a pet — she instantly latched on to Blastoise as an older brother figure, and the two became partners. Due to interactions with The Mob, Blastoise sometimes can be seen as a detective known as "Shellock Holmes" and solving mysteries like his namesake, Sherlock Holmes. The detective is slightly weirded out how a Blastoise makes a good detective but doesn't let it bother him. The Shellfish Pokemon has been enhanced in the presence of Chaac, not just due to the natural boost rain gives to Water types but through the healing effect of Rain Dish.
- He's been seen helping the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on missions often. Despite his lack of agility, Blastoise more than makes up for it with great defenses and raw power, plus having many long-ranged attacks is very helpful to them. He's also allies with Gamera, another turtle who protects children. Since the Squirtle line help firefighters in places such as Ryme City, he's allies with firefighters such as Carter Grayson, the Burning Rangers, and Galo Thymos. Blastoise dislikes Bowser because despite being one of the few other turtle deities, he's still an evil character. The Koopa King doesn't like him either for being water-based and thus able to counter his fire. Blastoise's water cannons remind Bowser of that time Mario foiled his and his son's plans with a water-spraying jetpack.
- The shell cannons have enough water pressure to punch holes through thick steel, and that's just base Blastoise. Mega Blastoise's Backpack Cannon is heightened by the Mega Launcher ability, boosting pulse moves. When Gigantamaxed, it's poor at precision shooting and just shoots 31 cannons over and over. But when you can punch through a mountain and combine those streams, finesse isn't all that important. Jumba started to second-doubt the capacity of Experiment 501 for a bit, but got over it and Yin likes to spend time with Blastoise. He likes to use it to punish the vile Nuckelavee, while also exploiting his weakness to running water, and the arrogant Rain who thinks he can boss the people around there.
- Wartortle is capable of living 10,000 years. Not too shocking, given it's a fantastical version of a turtle, though whether Blastoise has this level of longevity isn't clear. The Hall of Forms of Immortality is pretty sure that wouldn't go away with the evolution, but it's not like they can test it out without waiting a while. Blastoise is probably the most defensive of the three starters, which comes with the role of being. Though he's not allies outright with Master Oogway, feeling the kind of teaching he gives isn't quite him, he does admire the wise old turtle. While Charizard was able to get on the good side of Smokey Bear by being responsible, Blastoise is an ally outright as his cannons are useful in dousing out forest fires. In one case, he completely soaked the Pyro after detecting him use his flamethrowers to cause a bunch of carnage, though Pyro believed they were spreading a bunch of rainbows and other happiness.

- Florian (or Juliana if the player chooses the female option) is a school-aged trainer who recently moved to the region of Paldea applying to Naranja Academy/Uva Academynote . As part of the academy's curriculum, the player is tasked to go on a Treasure Hunt, where they trek through the region in search of their greatest treasure. During their quest, they meet three people who need help achieving their goals. Most familiar is the extraverted Nemona, an ace trainer that wants to see the newbie become her greatest rival by pursuing the eight gym leaders, Elite 4 and champion; the Path of the Victory Road. The Path of Legends sees the troubled academy student Arven having them help find the five Herba Mystica, mystical plants, in order to heal his Maboostiff. Each is guarded by a Titan Pokemon they will join with Arven to defeat. Then there is Starfall Street; Cassiopeia — a shadowy hacker — tasks Florian/Juliana with forcefully disbanding a delinquent gang called Team Star. To do this, you must invade each of the five Star Bases dotted around Paldea, which are usually blockading key routes, and defeat the gang leaders. Cassiopeia is an alias for another student and eventual friend of Florian/Juliana, Penny. Together, Florian/Juliana is able to succeed at helping each of them, pursuing the mystery at the Great Crater; Area Zero, and the enigmatic Paradox Pokemon present. And beyond discovering its mystery, they end up getting involved in the far-off area of Kitikami and its legends, along with Florian/Juliana playing a part in the massive Terrarium of the Blueberry Academy.
- The friend group
- Florian (or Juliana) believed his (or her) adventure was more or less over. They formed a lasting friendship, plumbed into the deepest depths of Area Zero, saved the region from a rogue Time Machine, redeemed an old legendary's name and many more things. Of course there'd always be more to explore, but it seemed in terms of the real big adventure, that would be it for the foreseeable future. That was until they and the three other students that were part of his/her adventure got an invitation for a new location, known as the Trope Pantheon. Encouraged by principal Clavell, when visiting there they saw a famous champion greet them, there to explain what it was all about; Cynthia. She gets around, she admits, but she wanted the chance to formally welcome them. While she means no offense to Florian/Juliana, she pointed how while they're the core of the friend group, it's their friends who serve the narrative the most. In short, they obtained the trope of Gameplay Protagonist, Story Protagonist.
- The first thing Florian/Juliana did was immediately rush to Koraidon and Miraidon, who started licking them affectionally like they were a dog. Ogerpon pushed the dragon off, wanting to show excitement at her trainer and the one who exonerated her, but then Pecharunt showed up and a scrap broke out. They were able to get the two to stop fighting and behave shortly afterwards; Florian/Juliana is in the awkward position of being the trainer of both, however it also makes them one of few to get the two to work towards a common goal. Despite having mind-controlled the other three and being a thorn in all four's side, they've accepted the Mythical's redemption, though mainly the peach's trainer. There are a number of Pokemon already ascended who's species are represented in the friend groups' teams, with Penny being particularly close to the Eevelutions as her entire team is composed of six of them. Florian/Juliana has been noted by a number of legendary Pokemon as while they may not encounter them specifically, through the Snacksworth treats they're able to encounter a number of legends across Paldea.
- What Penny thinks of Chairman Rose isn't clear, though it's strongly implied he's her uncle. After seeing how the introduction to the pantheon with Cynthia went, he thought he should celebrate them in some fashion by showing other acclaimed trainers. Nemona has been the most excited at having a shot fighting them, and the group has been ecnouraged to see the rivals from Penny's native Galar region as their rivals...mainly in terms of fighting and comparing their own adventures, otherwise they're cordial to one another. Florian/Juliana is implied to be from Galar, so he/she has some level of familiarity with Zacian and Zamazenta...and Eternatus. They'll have to be cautious around the last one, particularly after the dragon has found camraderie in a Dark Elf.
- With the threat of the Time Machine and the posthumous machinations of Professor Sada/Turo dealt with, along with Pecharunt and the Loyal Three pacified, they don't have much in the way of threats to deal with in Paldea. It's not like Paldea has an actually evil team. There are some truly wicked villains like Hunter J and Ghetsis, obviously, however the four have become aware of others from the pantheon to watch out for. Most importantly, are the villains of school. They're all students and while Naranja/Uva Academy is flawed, it's no Sucky School and the staff is generally nice, particularly Clavell. So the Sadist Teacher types presents can GTFO as far as they're concerned. While Clavell isn't ascended yet, he has heard of the Trope Pantheon and has encouraged the friend group to spend time in the House of School, making small talk with the good-aligned members there. While Paldea doesn't nearly have as much societal rot to clean up as the Phantom Thieves of Heart they do appreciate the work they did, and they sometimes like to hang out with fellow heroic students.
- While pretty confident that the issue with the Time Machine has been solved, learning more on temporal mechanics is a relevant subject, as they have been wondering where and when exactly the AI Professor Sada/Turo ended up. Having befriended Koraidon and Miraidon, the Doctor had heard of the friend group and while he (or sometimes she) doesn't have anything planned for Paldea beyond a general visit, if there's another temporal issue there they need help with they can expect some potential involvement. Of course, for every friendly and helpful time traveler there's always some prick looking to mess with the timeline for selfish reasons, and Eobard Thawne...well, "prick" undersells what a psycho he is. And tying into that "prick" status, he made some off the cuff remarks of Arven's father/mothernote not knowing a damn thing about properly time travelling.
- Specific to Florian/Juliana
- Compared to their friend group Florian (or Juliana) is your standard blank slate protagonist, though with a unique trait that not only do they encounter a legendary Pokemon early, but they become fast friends. They find the Paradox Pokemon Koraidon/Miraidon, weakened from its fight with a more aggressive member of their species. Together, they were able to bring the dragon back to full strength and confidence, along with helping their friends accomplish their goals. They're notable in being one of few protagonists to canonically obtain multiple legendaries. As which gender and game chosen is entirely down to player choice, Florian and Juliana act interchangably. Though it seems that Florian is associated from Miraidon, and Juliana with Koraidon. Sometimes they flex with their choice of transport at the Hall of Travel.
- When he or she ascended, Rosine went on a bee-line to approach Pecharunt's canonically trainer. Florian/Juliana is naturally disturbed by the Apostles' actions, and it's safe to say the contrast was stark. Pecharunt got between them, putting on a fake crying act out of genuine concern for its two friends. Initially, Rosine was angry, however she had come to care for the Mythical. They see the Apostle as a Toxic Friend Influence, however Pecharunt tried to argue they could be the friend she needs. In short, an armistice had to be made, and one where Pecharunt's two friends show clear they do not like each other. Fortunately for Florian/Juliana they aren't an adult, or it would be bloodier...possibly for her. After all, she's dealing with a trainer who's canonically caught a few legendary Pokemon, and that's not even getting into the possibility of the optional encounters.
- A woman who can read past lives implies by way of Rotom Phone cases that Florian/Juliana is the Reincarnation of prior players, at least from other games on the Switch. Admittedly, this may be more as the said "blank slate protagonist" they have some sort of tie to (Insert Name Here)...metaficitionally speaking. INH and Florian/Juliana have never been seen in the same room at least. A more unique trait picked from them is that Arven has complimented them due to how well they make sandwiches, and as a skilled chef in his own right it's quite the compliment. That skill in making sandwiches is part of what let him/her bond with the Paradox legendary Pokemon. The two became interested in Reuben because of his fantastic skill at making them, particularly grilled cheese. However Koraidon and Miraidon can only expect so much from their cook-out because Florian/Juliana doesn't want them to get fat.
- If the "Raidons" are equivalent to Toothless, being these big, huggable dragons that gradually grow more confident, then Florian and Juliana are equivalent to Hiccup...somewhat. They'll admit that they don't have too much in common outside of being magnetic heroes with a lovable dragon they becomes BFFs with, though that is more than enough and the strong friendship Koraidon and Miraidon have with Hiccup already furthers a bond. Due to their strong bond with Ogerpon, aiding in helping exonerate her, they are on good terms with Sirius Black and Tom Robinson, sympathizing with their situation of being misblamed, and saddened that only the former was exonerated. Conversly, they'll share in the contempt the oni has for the Witch and Bob Ewell for being utter bastards who framed innocents.
- Specific to Arven
- Probably the most tragic of the friend group, Arven is the son of Professor Sada or Turo. Depending on the version of the game, one is unaccounted for and the other has basically abandoned him in pursuit of the mystery of Area Zero and development of a time machine, in hopes of achieving a better world for his/her son. When Arven finally gets the context on what's going on, it turns out his mother/father died trying to protect her ten years ago, and the Sada/Turo he and his allies have been in communication with is a robotic copy. Needless to say, he has some issues regarding his parents. Marty and Doc Brown have sympathy for him and while they've showed up mainly to help the friend group with some time travel shenanigans that might show up, they wonder how he might feel about trying to find them again. Arven has come close to Steven Universe due to being able to relate to him and his own complicated opinions regarding a parent, along with appreciating his general heroism.
- The robotic copies of Professor Sada/Turo ultimately proved better people than who they're based off. Granted, the original Sada/Turo were more Ambiguously Evil than malicious, but they were certainly Mad Scientist types and AI Sada/Turo proved a lot more concerned about the ramifications of their actions. They're pretty much nothing like the hostile Ares robot, who'll mime sympathies to the AI Sada (or AI Turo) for being a slave to a human's directives even after their death. While Arven and his friends are neutral towards Justin Pin for the most part, they do have some sympathy because he was murdered by his creation and turned into a robotic puppet to pretend like he's continuing his work. On that note, Arven is unnerved by the Absolute Solver's grotesque impersonation of Tessa, with him and his friends on good terms with N and his friends in order to deal with Cyn and AI like her. That being said, Arven deeply resents the original Sada/Turo for not being involved. However, it doesn't change how unnerving those malicious machines are for him personally.
- Arven isn't much of a battler, according to himself, though in reality he's by no means a pushover. Bede, finding some sympathy for Arven due to his own status as an orphan, finds him sympathizing with him but also wants to test him as a trainer. Arven's true skill is that of a accomplished cook and his passion reflects his love of cooking; he has an oyster, pepper, salt and mushroom-based mon, along with a Big Eater known for storing berries. The Kanto Gym Leader Brock has tried his food and admits that it gives his own competition. Of course, Arven would love to further improve his cooking skills, and not just from the extra sandwich tips he got from Reuben. He's been having some classes in the House of Food, though there was one moment where Plankton caused trouble stealing his ingredients. With how awful the Chum Bucket is, he gets it, however it still angered him.
- While he comes off as abrasive at times, Arven suffers from deep abandonment issues caused by his parent obsessively focusing on their research, and struggles to connect with other people because of it. His attachment to his Mabosstiff is in large because it was the only close relation he had growing up. One of two dog lines first found in the Paldea region, Vito Corleone has commented "nice pick of choice" Arven ignores this, but with the Dark type's don-like appearance, he gets it. His pursuit of the cure for his pet reached an accord with Tonio Trussardi, who went on a trip to find rare disk abalones to get a cure for his girlfriend's cancer. It helps that Tonio is an exceptional cook in his own right, one Arven admits is better than him. Due to his love for his Mabosstiff he hates those that'd abuse dogs, with it being just one of many reasons to dislike Dio Brando as far as he's concerned.
- Specific to Nemona
- The most excited and extraverted of the friend group, Nemona is the true top trainer in Paldea. In fact, in terms of maximum average Pokemon level, she even beats out Cynthia and Red. She LOVES Pokemon battles in a way that's been compared to Goku loving regular battles, something that led them to become fast friends, and when Goku decided to try being a Pokemon trainer he quickly ended up as a decent player. He's a fighting genius after all, even if he's not the sharpest tool when it comes to books. Much like Goku, Nemona actually wants her rival to challenge and even try and legitimately defeat her, and was a good sport when Florian/Juliana best her. She has a liking for Hop, though she's most interested in testing out his older brother's comapnionship for its merit. After she learned Ash had managed to win the World Championship, she was super-pumped to challenge him for that title in an official capacity. His response? Bring it on!
- An exceptional trainer, not to mentioned a lucky one given her access to the rare three-segment Dudunsparcenote , it was her hope to build up a proper rival for herself. Again, she's just as much excited at the idea of being bested by a Worthy Opponent as she is narrowly managing to defeat them. Nemona and Saitama have formed a friendship as the titular One Punch Man has become bored out of his mind for being able to beat anyone in a Curb-Stomp Battle and he yearns for a proper challenge again, a desire she finds rather sympathetic. Due to her love of battle, Nemona has become a friend of the fish woman Undyne, though it's noted its Pokemon battle specifically she's into. She has issues with correctly throwing Poké Balls and wears some sort of an arm brace. She's also shown to get tired easily and has notably low stamina. It implies a disability, but if you underestimate her for that you're gonna have a bad time.
- Like Goku's friend Bulma comes from a wealthy family, though unlike her she isn't an inventor. Her father is the CEO for the Rotom Phone company and her old sister is next in line. If Kayla Day is interested in upgrading to a Rotom Phone, she can call some family favors. PAL was interested in her father's company being an AI and phone app, though she's more interested in Rotom and the technology of Arven's father/mother. Dealing with rogue technology from old protocols was one thing, but an acting, malicious A.I? A whole different sort of problem the Paldean protagonsits need to deal with. Nemona's aware there are some pretty repellent individuals with a fair bit of wealth, most disgustingly Noah Cross, though she's no fan of the Reagan twins or Morbucks for being such spoiled tools.
- She's the Student Council President of the Naranja/Uva Academy, which lets her pull strings like getting Florian/Juliana their Tera Orb earlier. Nemona has been using this status to get along with the Student Representatives, particularly Luna Plaz with them both being rich kids. Creepily (but also typically given what he's like) Suguru Kamoshida has tried to hit on her. While it's not clear how old Nemona is, it's clear wrong no matter how way you slice it and she was so disgusted at his actions she punched him outright. Again, she's glad that for its issues her academy never had to put up with someone nearly as bad as him. While of the upper class her personality doesn't reflect that and she's Spoiled Sweet, all things considered. Nemona is on good terms with Ochako as a superhero trying to make money in order to help her family.
- Specific to Penny
- A shy girl from the same grade as Florian/Juliana, Penny is fond of cute things (hence why her team uses the Eevee line) and is initially rather reserved, but gradually opens up to the other students even if she remains the sarcastic Only Sane Woman of the four. Originally from Galar, her overbearing and kind of annoying father is strongly implied to be Peony, hence why Chairman Rose is probably her uncle. She's a skilled hacker, being able to hack into the Pokemon league and steal credits. Sometimes she gets involved with other friendly hackers and crackers. As part of her making up for "stealing credits from the school" thing she was advised to do some hacking against the influence of the Sadist Teacher types. This was an excuse for her to interact with Futaba, though they had already met on chatrooms and they enjoy playing online games together. They often end up in the same lobby as gamer girl Chikai Nanami. Given her experience with Professor Sada/Turo, Penny and her friend group are curious about her having her own AI incarnation.
- During her time on the pantheon's chatrooms she made contact with an impressive hacker called Elliot Alderson. He uses these skills to hack criminals and he possesses a sense of justice, so Penny had a relatively positive view on him. After some talking, she found reasons to sympathize with him, as he was a very cynical person dealing with clinical depression anxiety and trust issues. Like Penny he has an alternate identity, but rather than an alias it is a full-flown Split Personality, Mr. Robot. While he has the same goals as Elliot he's more ruthless and unfettered in accomplishing them, and until they eventually reconcicled he was not above manipulating his alter. They have been discussing ways of tackling societal ills together. She has also been talking to Bentley the Turtle, a computer wiz and hacker, both out of ways to use their skills positively but also generally talk about hobbies like anime.
- As Cassiopeia she was both the founder, and dissolver, of Team Star. Many teams in the world of Pokémon are outright villainous, some like Team Rocket proudly so. Team Star...not really. Most of them, particularly the leaders, are perfectly normal and friendly kids suffering from a misplaced and unshakable reputation as delinquents and outcasts, to the point many of them embrace the label. At worse hooligans, they were formed to deal with bullies only to start acting like bullies...hence her goal in dissolving the team. Marnie mused "I've been there", given her connection with Team Yell, who are basically "rowdy overly enthusiastic fans". She is not happy with bullies like Biff Tannen and Gary Smith causing problems in the House of School causing problems, so she has been working with Jimmy Hopkins to try and deal with them.
- Out of the friend group she's the most reasonable of them, able to give witty remarks and commentary. Penny's an introvert, and her room is cluttered with boxes that contain anime and figures that she ordered online. Basically, she's a Hikikomori and that is another thing that lends her to get along with Futaba. Naturally, Penny gets along with Chihiro Fujisaka, and not just because they have similar hobbies; Chihiro crossdresses because he was bullied for his weakness compared to other boys, so he takes the identity of a girl, though this didn't address the deeper issues. The Phantom Thieves of Heart were already supportive of Penny's desire to deal with bullies at school, and unsurprisingly she is going to be supportive to the Super High-School Level Programmer. Unsurprisingly, the Paldean friend group considers Junko Enoshima as antithetical to everything they stand for; Arceus only knows what she would do if she got access to Naranja/Uva Academy.

- Conflicting Opinion: Slimes
- Introduced in Dragon Quest III, the Cannibox and Mimics has been a recurring monsters in the franchise ever since. Joined by the Pandora’s Box in the seventh entry of the game. These carnivorous chests would disguise as a normal treasure chests to ambush any greedy and careless adventurers with heavy hitters such as Critical Hit or even the instant death spell Whack. Being the monsters who started the idea of a chest monster actually looking the same as normal treasure chests, these horrors gained their infamy in the franchise quickly.
- One day, one of the deities take some of their recent adventures loot back to the Pantheon. When that deity opened one of the treasure chests, it turned out to be a Mimic. But while clearing wanting to devour that deity, the Mimic for some reason restrained itself and hopped its way to the Main House and keep making clicking noise, much to everyone’s confusion. That was until a passing slime helped the mimic to translate. At it turns out, the Mimic wished to be ascended, due to their status of being the monster that introduced the idea of a Chest Monster disguising as a normal treasure chest and their infamy in their franchise. Impressed by the Mimic’s willingness to restrain its endless hunger, the Mimic was ascended along with its entire species. Since then, Mimics and its colour variants, the Cannibox and Pandora’s Box begin to pop out in the Pantheon.
- Due to them being effective weapons, many overlord at the House of Villainy are quick to hire mimics to disguise as treasure chests as traps. The mimics are more then happy to work for them as that means they could get more adventurers to devour. Meanwhile for the dark lords they find the mimics to be pretty efficient as getting rid of all those wannabe heroes.
- The Dragon Quest heroes, especially Erik are alerted when they learnt these monsters have ascended too. As now when they open a treasure chests during some of their adventures, they could likely be ambushed by a mimic. Therefore they have been advising other deities to be more cautious during treasures hunt. Erik, who had collected treasures in a far away land with his sister, thus it is likely that he will think twice before opening a chest in the Pantheon from now on.
- The Slimes seems to have bitter experience with the Canniboxes as some of them worked for the Plob before and helped kidnapping them. Therefore sometimes the Slimes will chase away any Canniboxes that entered Slimenia. However, some of the braver Slimes from Slimenia like to have some Canniboxes as crew members to act as trap. Considering no matter who are they helping the Canniboxes will still get a meal, they don't really mind joining either sides. Due to their uncertain loyalty , the majority of the Slimes don't trust the Canniboxes.
- Thanks to their ability of using instant death spells, Gin sometimes like to use some of the Mimics to assassinate any particularly wealthy target. As these chest monsters can effectively kill a target with the spell Whack and then devour the body, thus cleaning any evidence. So far the Mimics are proven to be effective weapons for the Black Organization, with even a few of the Mimics considering to join the criminal syndicate. They are currently quite helpful at eliminating wealthy targets.
- Despite already being deadly themselves, there exist an even deadlier variant of the mimics known as the Mimic King. Despite of their names, the Mimic King don’t have any authorities over its brethren. Yet, they are still widely respected by other mimics. Due to the Mimic King’s lethal abilities that stand out among the already lethal regular mimics, the Pantheons keep a close eye on them to make sure they won’t do any funny move.
- The various [[Pantheon/Pokémon Pokémon trainers]] heard that it is possible to tame these carnivorous chests, as in another world mimics and their relatives can be tamed and trained. When they try to recruit these monsters, the mimics put up a fight, but some of them ended up joining the trainers. Regardless the trainers are the morally bankrupt Hunter J, or the heroic Ash, the mimics are fine with anyone, as long as they are well fed.

- Enemies:
- Charlotte: None.
- Vendetta: Charlotte and all of her allies, as well as the entire House of Musicality
- Respected by/Respects: Mandy (Vendetta only)
- Interests: Yuuki Terumi (Charlotte only)
- Charlotte is a cheerful and kind-hearted girl who, upon moving to the town of Clamburg, was quick to make friends with another girl named Vendetta, or so she thinks. Vendetta is a wicked girl who terrorizes the town with the Fiends she makes and hates how cheery Charlotte is, leading her to try and "destroy" Charlotte with her Fiends. Despite all the Fiends that Vendetta has made to "destroy" her, Charlotte remains oblivious to how evil Vendetta is and still thinks they're best buddies, and despite Charlotte's earnest attempts to be friends with her, Vendetta views her as just a ditz who's out to make her life miserable.
- Charlotte:
- The sight of the Pantheon was enough to make Charlotte giddy, especially when she learned of all deities she could befriend.
- One of the first friends Charlotte made was Fluttershy. With ponies being one of her favorite animals, Charlotte was thrilled to find a pony who wanted to be friends with her, while Fluttershy was just happy to find another person who shares her outlook on kindness. She even admires Charlotte for trying to befriend morally dubious people like Vendetta, though Charlotte has no idea what she means by that.
- Not long after meeting Fluttershy, Charlotte made another friend in the form of Gentaro Kisaragi and was excited to learn of all the times he'd been to outer space, especially since her own parents are astronauts too, maybe. Gentaro meanwhile was happy to find someone who shares his philosophy on friendship and together the two have joined forces to make friends with everyone in the Pantheon. Gentaro has also promised to take Charlotte up to the Rabbit Hatch some day upon hearing of how she always wanted to go to the Moon.
- As monkeys are some of her favorite animals, Charlotte immediately became giddy upon seeing Donkey Kong and ran up to feel his fur. Donkey Kong was caught off guard at first, but quickly warmed up to Charlotte and invited Diddy Kong over to meet her as well. In addition to the Kongs, Charlotte also gets along very well with Kiko, son of King Kong, something helped by Kiko also technically being a child.
- Pollyanna Whittier became fast friends with Charlotte over their shared positive outlooks on life, although even Pollyanna was surprised to find that Charlotte seems incapable of perceiving outright evil things. She also became good friends with Sara Crewe given their mutual desires to be kind to others no matter the circumstance. Both Pollyanna and Sara also relate to Charlotte over the fact that her mother and father are absent from her life, having lost their own parents, although Charlotte insists hers are merely in space and will be coming home soon.
- Upon seeing the Powerpuff Girls for the first time, Charlotte was quick to cuddle them and ask to be their friend. While Buttercup found her annoying, Bubbles immediately got along with her and Blossom found her to be endearing. She can often be found playing with Bubbles when not in her temple, and is thrilled by Bubbles' ability to speak to animals.
- Another person whom Charlotte had an easy time befriending was Matilda Bookworm, as even if Charlotte's can be overly cheery at times she generally finds Charlotte's never-ending positivity, even in dreary situations, to be endearing. Charlotte also gets along very well with Madeline and thinks the scar from her appendix surgery is very cool. Madeline meanwhile likes being around Charlotte since no matter the situation Charlotte can find something positive to raise her spirits.
- Upon seeing Cream the Rabbit, Charlotte's first reaction was to run up to her to pet the "cute bunny" much to Cream's surprise. Despite this, Cream soon bonded with Charlotte and is appreciative how Charlotte always tries to befriend everyone, including her enemies.
- Charlotte's desire to make friends isn't limited to just heroic deities as she's also attempted to befriend various villainous deities as well, though she isn't aware that any of them are evil. While most evil deities regard her as a nuisance, some like Yuuki Terumi are intrigued by how perpetually cheery she is and want to see how much it takes to rid her of her happiness. This has led to a number of heroic deities going out of their way to protect Charlotte from him and other sadists who wish to do her harm.
- Vendetta:
- Isn't thrilled to be sharing a temple with Charlotte given how she prefers to stay as far away from Charlotte as possible most of the time, and because the two living in the same temple means that Charlotte has plenty of chances to annoy her. As such she's usually elsewhere in the Pantheon unless Charlotte isn't there.
- Gets along pretty well with Mojo Jojo, even if she's somewhat put off by his mannerisms, as she relates to him over his "stupid girl" problem. She was also quite eager to hear about his numerous plots to terrorize Townsville.
- While Vendetta normally prefers to be left alone, she is very pleased by the number of like-minded adolescents she has found in the Pantheon. She thinks Edgar & Ellen's plots to cause mischief are amusing, even if they could involve more screaming. She also finds Rhoda Penmark and the string of killings she committed to be especially delightful, to the point where Vendetta has taken Rhoda under her wing in the hopes of using her against Charlotte. However, Vendetta was most excited to encounter Damien Thorne given his status as The Antichrist and connection to Satan, as she hopes to use him to get more materials for making even stronger Fiends.
- As Vendetta is a maker of Fiends, she was eager to meet another monster creator in the Pantheon in the form of Yapool, considering his Choju to be very excellent "Fiends" especially given how large and destructive they are. Yapool is amused by how hateful and cruel Vendetta is for a human girl and accepted her request to let her study under him so she can improve her own Fiends.
- SHOCKER have also taken an interest in Vendetta and her Fiend-making skills. While most of the Fiends she makes aren't particularly strong compared to their Kaijin, the fact that Vendetta is able to make so many Fiends with varying powers has piqued their interest, as she creates Fiends from scratch using normal supplies while SHOCKER has to remodel human subjects to make their Kaijin monsters. As such, they've invited Vendetta to come work for them in the hopes of combining her talents with their own to expand their army of monsters.
- Nightmare was amused to hear of Vendetta and the Fiends she made to terrorize, as one of his incarnations also made monsters to terrorize the galaxy and fight against the Star Warriors. He even went as far as to sell Nightmare Enterprises-brand monster-making materials to Vendetta so she could improve the Fiends she makes.
- Although she finds Junko Enoshima's flamboyant behavior to be grating at times, Vendetta does respect her for her talent at crushing hope and desire to see everyone fall into despair. Junko in turn was positively gleeful to learn of what Vendetta had done to Clamburg and how she had plunged the entire town into despair and misery. She was also quite interested to learn about Charlotte from her and has taken it upon herself to find a way to crush her cheery demeanor, viewing it as a challenge.
- One of the things that Vendetta hates most, aside from Charlotte, is singing. Her hatred of it is to the point where she's repeatedly used Fiends to attack the House of Musicality in order to level it to the ground, leading her to be banned from it as a result.
- While she and Mandy aren't allies per se, they do share a strong mutual respect for one another and have promised to stay out of each other's way.
- Hates all of Charlotte's friends, by virtue of the fact that they're friends with Charlotte and that many of them share her annoyingly cheery demeanor. This hasn't stopped some like Gentaro Kisaragi from trying to be friends with her in the hopes that he can get her to change her evil ways. Vendetta finds him to be almost as annoying as Charlotte, but his Kamen Rider powers mean she has an even harder time getting rid of him than Charlotte.
- Vendetta as at first pleased when she met Ashley, believing the girl to be another kindred spirit due to the constant threats she's made about hexing others. After getting close to her however, Vendetta was quickly put off by how eager Ashley seemed to have found a friend in her as opposed to actually tormenting people. Despite this, Vendetta still finds her to be less annoying than Charlotte and for the most part is fine with working with her to create new Fiends.
- Upon hearing of Great Professor Bias and his reputation for training Evil Geniuses, Vendetta immediately sought tutelage under him in the hopes of improving her Fiend making. While Bias found the Fiends she made to be moderately impressive, he was displeased by her cavalier attitude towards schoolwork and did not immediately respond to her application for acceptance into Volt. This led Vendetta to seek him out personally to demand to be let in, only for Charlotte to butt in. Vendetta was annoyed, but much to her surprise, Bias seemed quite amused by Charlotte's singing and perpetually bubbly demeanor, something which infuriates Vendetta to no end.
I'll be sure to fix them before it goes up.

(okay well actually i don't think ashley would actually like vendetta, and ESPECIALLY never help her with fiend production. While she studies dark magic, takes an interest in the macabre, and rarely opens up to others, Ashley is mostly harmless (unless angered, then she can become quite dangerous). She seems to study witchcraft mostly for her own personal use than for any real villainous means. She even takes on a fully heroic role in Gold, as she voluntarily saves the demon realm from starving under Lord Hum Gree (and causes him to revert back to his old kind self) with no real selfish intent in doing so. so just change that interaction a bit and you're good.)

Wander would be fast friends with Charlotte, given how they both have the mindset of "An enemy is just a friend you haven't made yet", and with over 1,000 years of befriending villainous foes like Major Threat and The Black Cube, Charlotte would be just as amazed at his friendliness as he is with hers. Vendetta, meanwhile, would be absolutely horrified at the thought of there being not only essentially another Charlotte, but one that has an alarmingly high success rate of redeeming galactic threats, and would do everything she could to make sure she doesn't spend as much time with him as possible. Aside from that,

Doing some looking around, yeah, I believe Tainted Friendship is the best possible choice for them due to how Charlotte's view on Vendetta is tainted, and how Vendetta wants to try and kill her while he wants to befriend her.

- Growing up, Amy Dunne was the inspiration for the 'Amazing Amy' book series, beloved by children all across the country. As an adult, she became a writer for magazines who'd studied in psychology. Soon, she fell in love with fellow writer Nick Dunne, who she married and took the last name of. Due financial troubles, Nick and Amy left the vibrant New York City for the quiet Missouri. They lived there with minimal trouble for years, but on the couple's fifth wedding anniversary, the Amazing Amy went missing! And worse, it looked like it was a murder! This broke the nation's heart, as her disappearance made national headlines, with the media and public opinion putting heavy suspicion and scrutiny on Nick. But really, she was kidnapped and raped by her Psycho Ex-Boyfriend Desi Collings. But Amazing Amy was able to persist! She gathered to courage to kill Desi in self-defense, and returned to her beloved husband. America made a collective sigh of relief upon a national treasure coming home safe, and Amy and Nick lived Happily Ever After.
- Or at least, that's what she wants you to think. And that's what she successfully tricked the public into thinking. But the truth about Amy Elliott Dunne is far more sinister. Everything above up to Nick's public and media scrutiny is true, but little to the public's knowledge, Amy was not killed or kidnapped, but she actually ran away from home on her own accord, and created a scenario to frame her husband so it would appear evident that he killed her. Her feminine, submissive personality? All a mask to hide her true intentions. All of this was designed to ruin her husband, but after seeing him give interviews about their marriage, she changed course and decided he could play the perfect image of a husband and was perfect for her. She was staying with her controlling ex-boyfriend Desi, and killed him, making it look like self-defense to create an explanation for her disappearance. When she returned, Nick wanted to expose her, but he didn't have enough evidence and realized the pregnant Amy could retaliate and ruin him if he went against her interest. So they stayed together, maintaining the illusion of a perfect marriage.
- While the general public may not have known the truth about Amy Elliott Dunne, her disappearance remains a famous case of the media garnering attention over seemingly-perfect missing women fallen victim to evil men, a phenomenon referred to by sociologists as 'Missing White Woman Syndrome'. In the Pantheon, the Court of the Gods wanted to represent this phenomenon, and their minds gravitated to one of the most famous, publicized cases: that of Amy Elliott Dunne. It's unsure how many of them knew the truth behind her disappearance, but the truth still reflects the trope, so Amy was invited to the pantheon, with the option of bringing her husband along as a herald. Amy was delighted to receive this offer, declaring that it would be her honor to "represent the collective struggles of missing and abused women everywhere". The public celebrated this ascension, and her husband Nick went along, without showing much reluctance or enthusiasm. Setting up a temple riverside home within the pantheon, just like back in Missouri, they continued their 'perfect' wedded life, now only in the pantheon.

i don't think it'd get to kidnapping her, but it might be some fun "karma" if Annie Wilkes gets obssessed with the amazing amy books, and starts acting like what ay convinced the public Hilary was like. (though she'd probably step off once she incites amy's full manipulative wrath)
otherwise, Gregory Anton is one of the more famous depections of a manipulative spouse, even having coined the term "gaslighting". paula anton on the other hand would most likely detest her.

GODAMN IT! VIVA LA REVOLUCIÓN!

Hello, last year I suggested the Dragon Quest mimics monster line as the god of man eating chest trope since they are the first monster in video game that disguise as a chest and has a large enough presence to have a lot of merchandise, however unfortunately when I write their page I sort of run out of idea last year, may I go back to try to work on it? Thank you
I think Iike Gundam and Dragon Quest too much
