Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Charles F. Muntz is a famous explorer admired by Carl Fredricksen and his wife Ellie as children. An acclaimed adventurer obsessed with finding the "Beast of Paradise Falls", he would be accused of fabricating the skeleton of one by the National Explorer's Society, being labeled a fraud and disgraced. Muntz vowed to redeem his name by going to Paradise Falls and not return until he found the bird. Decades passed and he was forgotten by most, except for some old fans, like the now senior Mr Frederickson. He saw Muntz as an inspiration and on his own adventure to Paradise Falls, alongside stowaway Russell, excited to meet Muntz who was still kicking at 92. He aged quite gracefully...unfortunately, the same couldn't be said of his mind. Unable to let go, Muntz had wasted his life trying to prove the doubters wrong, becoming a mad Egomaniac Hunter willing to go after the endangered bird, nicknamed Kevin by Russell, alive or dead. And he no longer cares about how many people he has to go through to get it. His story is a grim reminder of the dangers of not letting go, reminding Carl not to let his past grief consume him.
  • After a fight to protect Kevin and stop Mr Muntz, Charles found himself plummetting 10,000 feet. While he's a paranoid murderer from those who he thought tried to steal his prize and treasure, Carl could only shakily grasp in horror witnessing him fall. Rather than the watery abyss, Mr Muntz instead found himself somewhere new, with a recording of an old movie about him. Given a moment to calm down with his impending death over, or more accurately not remembering it and now being Back from the Dead, he wondered what was going on, only to be informed of his situation in the Trope Pantheon. He was very cagey and stand-offish, but begrudgingly agreed to take the position of representing the Fake Film Intro trope. The apparent into to Up was actually an in-universe showing his exploits, the inspiration to the dream Mr Frederickson would have, while also setting the ground for Muntz' own Start of Darkness. His wounded pride means he still wants to find that bird and prove the critics wrong. Despite the obvious bad blood, Carl pleaded with him to let it go and take this as a chance to finally live a good life, only to be retaliated by Charles saying he intends to get the Spirit of Adventure back. And he will stop at nothing to prove his critics wrong. The fact he referred to them like they were alive in the present text is testament to his damaged psyche.
  • Charles F Muntz is one of the more sympathetic Disney villains, though don't get it twist; he's still a villain. He has a big soft spot for his dogs, he's good to work under, but that makes him Affably Evil; no-one who'd try to kill a kid in cold blood just to prove something that no-one would even care about at this point can be called anything but a villain. However because he's not personally cruel and consumed with the hunt for the Beast of Paradise Falls, and specifically that beast, he doesn't make a lot of friend with other villains. For example, Gaston may be an Egomaniac Hunter and one motivated by a sense of pride, someone Charles will give adequate praise for his physical abilities, but Charles is about redeeming his reputation and saving his wounded pride, so he doesn't have time for his antics. The Disney villain he's the most similar with might be Bowler Hat Guy, someone who let holding onto one past failure derail his life, however he never sunk to Muntz' level of madness and had a Heel Realization, ultimately accepting the possibility Lewis would stop his past self going on the same path.
  • The methods used to discredit Charles Muntz's fossils are real, but have been themselves discredited over time as grossly inaccurate. So it's really no wonder that the scandal was such a wound to his pride, and the bones he brought back were legitimate. Muntz is no Ernesto and doesn't pass what someone else did off as his own. He actually hates that kind of behavior, as it discredits the efforts of people like him. Granted, they're both attempted child killers, but most think Muntz's contempt for Ernesto is completely valid, and its something he takes quite personally. He despises him for killing his friend and stealing his name, which may be a case of Even Evil Has Standards but definitely has a case of Sympathy for the Hero since Muntz feels sincerely bad for what happened to Hector and he's genuinely happy that he was able to have his reputation restored. Hector guesses should thank Mr Muntz, but keeps his distance.
  • Like Koba he is incredibly paranoid. While he considers some of the people he "took care of" to have been after his prize and livelihood, they were likely just unfortunate passerbys and despite never stating it outright, he's an implicit Serial Killer. He can be quite warm and accompanying to those that simply seek to talk with him, but he usually defaults to suspicion. Charles Muntz has been hiring Hunter J and DuBois, however he has made it quite clear he only wants them to find what he's looking for, and if possible aid him in finding other long lost creatures or at least set up a base for him to explore for more stuff to find. He's not interested in being needlessly cruel, though with his track record it's "not interested in being needlessly cruel from his skewed perspective". If they need to go through Russell, he sees that as a necessary sacrifice. He may be Affably Evil, but he's also a violent lunatic...you think you know a guy.
  • In his prime, he had the star power of Charles Lindbergh, among other personal traits. He's got a good capacity for sword fights and physical activity, which is incredibly remarkable for a nonagenarian. Just compare it to Mr Burns, who is frail even arguably for a centenarian. Personally he's quite charismatic but a textbook case of Detrimental Determination, and wounded pride; equal parts Cool Old Guy and Evil Old Folks. He treats Kevin a lot like one would Moby Dick, though she never bit off anyone's leg. As such, one of the only deities he likes is Captain Ahab, though the moral of his story is something lost on him. One of his only other allies is Wile E Coyote, oddly enough. This is because Kevin is an Expy of the Roadrunner, and Muntz' pursuit of the bird is like some Tragic Villain esque take on the coyote. As a relatively serious villain, this could be considered an Odd Friendship. Charles Muntz' obsession and how it destroyed him is something Fred C Dobbs found himself relating to, though the core vices are different; Muntz is Pride, Dobbs is Greed.
  • Charles Muntz is not on good terms with other explorers and adventurers. He usually doesn't bother them, as his beef is with the naysayers or people that get in the way of proving those naysayers wrong, and his focus is primarily on the "Beast of Paradise Falls" even if there are some other things in the Trope Pantheon he wants to study and discover more about. Robinson Crusoe considers his existence a sad one; he is a fellow adventurer, one who got lost in the wilderness, though less willingly. However he retained his sanity and for the time he's from is a decent fellow. A young Muntz would probably have been friends with him, but that was when he was still optimistic and wholly sane. Indiana Jones sees him as a pitiful figure, if still a villain, due to his obsession ruining his life. He's reminded of his pursuit of the Holy Grail, and that if it wasn't for his father he would've died in pursuit of it.
  • Because of how much of a disturbed recluse Charles Muntz is, he has few allies even if he isn't exactly personally despicable. Having been in the setting of the Trope Pantheon instead of the forest he spent most of his life in has improved his attitude, but it's still hard to make friends with the guy. He has, however, managed to make friends, one of which involves a lot of arguing but also could be considered Toxic Friend Influence; Denzel Crocker. For years Crocker has tried to prove the existence of FAIRY! GOD! PARENTS! and while what he wants with that power is a lot more...megalomaniacal, there is that strong need for validation. Charles thinks he's got a few screws loose, but he sees him as someone he can sympathize with and relate to. Crocker made it clear he's the one that goes after the FAIRIES! but did suggest he could get even more fame and well-deserved redemption in the public eye by seeking other rare and fantastical creatures. Sanity notwithstanding, Muntz still has a passion of exploration and adventure, so he likes what the teacher suggested.
  • The reason why Mr Crocker has been considered a case of Toxic Friend Influence, though mainly by the opinion of a former fan of hisnote , is because it has encouraged Charles into doing more active villainy. Some of the stuff he is doing involves trying to kidnap Eliza Thornberry and force her to help him by using her abilities to talk to animals in order to root out the bird. She has tried to talk sense into him, explaining that no-one would care if he found the bird, however Mr Muntz has yelled at her for "stalling for time". Most think deep down, part of him doesn't want to accept his efforts have been All for Nothing. Mr Crocker's interested in FAIRIES! has led Mr Muntz to be curious about magical creatures, leading him to stalk Hogwarts ground in order to expose the existence of the various critters Hagrid has to the Muggle world. He has also tried to get Lewis Anthonio to help make inventions that might better his odds, though Lewis tried more to emphasize with him and his inability to let go. It's a flaw he recognizes, and with his belief of "keep moving forward" he thinks Charles F Muntz is the antithesis of that and someone who needs help.
  • Has a mixed to negative relationship with the House of Beasts and Fauna. While willing to kill the rare bird and definitely capture it, even if Kevin had a family of her own to take care for, he's far from an animal abuser and is an Egomaniac Hunter in the pursuit of his pride, not because he gets a kick out of hunting a bunch of exotic animals. For him, it's about proving a point. Muntz has caused a fair bit of trouble harassing the denizens of the Hall of Birds in pursuit of Kevin, or at least other potential members of her species, but with no luck and he was forced to be escorted out of it. He has a much better relationship with the Hall of Canines, as he loves his dog minions almost as much as he loves the idea of being validated following over half a century. The Hall of Language noticed that with his dog collars letting them speak English, he could've used that to restore his reputation, however he is too into proving he was right all those decades to notice. He's not fond of Cruella De Vil and her scheme of killing dogs for their fur. Pongo and Perditia aren't too fond of Muntz, though it's more they are wary of the crazy old man.

Sally, Goddess of Casual Self-Dismemberment (Wretched Girl, Rag Doll, Doll Face, The Pumpkin Queen)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1000000243.jpg
  • Hall: Torture and Mutilation (House of Slaughter)
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A pot of deadly nightshade, hidden among leaves
  • Theme Song: Sally's Song
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Essentially A Frankenstein's Cute Monster Girl and Perky Goth, Scary Stitches, Strict Parents Make Sneaky Kids, Can Detach And Split Her Body Parts Apart, Mild Clairvoyance But Can't Control When The Visions Happen, Only Sane Woman, Nice Girl, Creepy Doll That Is Rather Proper, Energetic Girl To Jack's Savvy Guy, Shrinking Violet that gets a Relationship Upgrade, Opposites Attract
  • Domains: Rag Dolls, Goths, Dismemberment, Friendship, Love, Halloween
  • Interests: Frankenstein's Monster, Dr Viktor
  • Allies: Jack Skellington (who she's currently dating), Santa Claus, Nicholas St North, Mrs Claus, Victor Van Dort, Victoria Everglot and Emily (Corpse Bride), Cinderella, Rapunzel, Sora and his friends, Coraline, Neith, Gomez and Morticia Addams
  • On good terms with: Bunnymund, Nadia Fortune, Absol, Cassandra
  • Enemies: Oogie Boogie, The Headless Horseman (Warcraft), Mad King Thorn and Jack O'Lantern, Robot Santa Claus, Charles Lee Ray/Chucky the Killer Doll, Mother Gothel, the Beldam/the Other Mother, Dr Angus Bumby, Lady Tremaine, Bete Noire, Glenn Quagmire, most villainous members of her hall
  • Avoided by: Victor Von Frankenstein
  • The female lead of The Nightmare Before Christmas is a living rag doll created by Dr Finkelstein. Empathizing with Jack's feelings of loneliness and boredom, being kept under close watch by her creator, she drugs his soup with deadly nightshade to escape his watch. As a rag dolls she's able to undo her stitches and allow her limbs to act independently. Sally harbors a crush on Jack, but her feelings are unrequited. Feeling restless she follows Jack and tries to stop his scheme for Christmas due a vision of how bad it'll end up. Eventually she goes off to rescue Santa from the evil Oogie Boogie, utilizing her ability to painlessly and harmlessly dismember herself as part of a distraction. After Santa leaves, Jack finally comes to appreciate what Sally has attempted to do for him, and he ends up reciprocating her affections. The two end up a couple, Sally becoming his Pumpkin Queen.
  • Santa Claus had positive words of Sally, not just in the fact that she had helped save him from Oogie Boogie and tried to stop Jack's misguided attempt at embracing Christmas, but that "she's the only one who made sense around here". Time in the Trope Pantheon had further warmed his outlook on Jack, and ever since his wife ascended to the pantheon he has entertained the idea of Jack's girlfriend ascending. Jack was able to find a trope to ascend her under; Casual Self-Dismemberment. Again, as a rag doll Sally can dismember herself without any pain and her body parts can move around on their own. There's also no issue regarding re-attaching them, and she doesn't even need to worry about any "blood" loss since she is stuffed with leaves. After her case was reviewed and improved the two got into a beautiful duet together. Mr and Mrs Claus wished her the best of luck. Sally was also impressed by the pantheon's Easter Rabbit representation, in the Awesome Aussie Bunnymund.
  • The Trope Pantheon isn't the first time Sally has interacted with other IPs, asides of course for folks like Santa of course. Like a lot of stuff tied to Disney, she has been involved in the events of Kingdom Hearts. Oogie Boogie caused problems for Sora and his friends along with other Disney villains, and she would help them out alongside Jack Skellington. Now that she's in the pantheon it's let her interact with a number of other Disney characters in a more substantial manner. Sally ended up making fast friends with Cinderella and Rapunzel, emphasizing with their situation. While Dr Finklestein isn't as suffocating or oppressive as Lady Tremaine and Mother Gothel, he is an overly strict and controlling father/creator she has somewhat of a difficult relationship with. Sally respects their desire to be indepent and doesn't show any respect for the abusive parental figures they had to deal with.
  • To the surprise of basically no-one, Sally has a good relationship with the ascended deities from the Corpse Bride movie, what with the not too dissimilar gothic aesthetics, and being from another Tim Burton project. Despite being a stitched rag doll she's rather pretty, which residents have noticed. Unfortunately one of those was Quagmire, who tried sweet-talking here while dropping something her drink. Being a rag doll this had no effect and her heels hit his groin the moment she realized what was going on. Jack and Sally have enjoyed going on double dates with the Addams, unsurprisingly getting along due to their passion for goth culture and passionate, exceptionally good marriage. It's safe to say the Addams family considers Halloweentown one of, if not their favorite vacation spot.
  • The Pumpkin Queen is a decently influential figure in the House of Celebration, along with being well aware of those looking to dethrone him from his position as the god of Halloween, and they usually aren't as nice as him. That said, what beef they have with Sally is more in keeping with their rivalry with Jack Skellington. While Robot Santa Claus naturally makes for another enemy, he has actually given her credit for trying to stop Jack Skellington's Christmas scheme. He still considers her naughty, but who he considers nice is on a very small list. Mad King Thorn and Jack O'Lantern have been paying attention to this recent turn of events and they are quite curious about Sally and what Jack sees in her.
  • Many in the Hall of Torture and Mutilation have commented that Sally is..out of place. While it's true the Casual Self-Dismemberment is a mutilation trope, and she is not a Token Good Teammate in the truest sense for the Hall, so far she's the friendliest resident. She's not happy having to share a hall with some truly abhorrent individuals like Ramsay Bolton and Colonel Volgin, and the sadists present are annoyed at the fact if they manage to capture her, actually inflicting the "torture" part would prove difficult. Trager, for instance, finds her abilities bothersome given his usual M.O. Sally's ability to dismember herself isn't too different from Ms Fortune, though not with the level of Body Horror. The two are on good terms, Sally noting that her ability to split her body parts apart is more useful for fighting, while Sally is a noncombatant for the most part.
  • Many have pointed to her being closer visually to a creation of Dr Frankenstein. And yeah, Dr Finklestein is not far off from Dr Frankenstein, though with Halloweentown being what it is her existence isn't something her creator would reject. He did, however, make his own Bride who looks like him and shares half of his brain. The original Victor Frankstein is put off by her to some extent, though it's more anxiousness and being reminded of his own creation. The Monster was rather curious about Sally, liking her and Halloweentown's aesthetics. It's more of a scientific curiosity than anything serious. Expy Dr Viktor has also expressed interest in her, but more so Halloweentown and its residents as a whole. He's a villain, but can be personal at times and focus on the science aspect of being a Mad Scientist. He believes she would fit right at home in the Anur System. Of the worlds in the Anur System, Anur Transyl is the one that Sally enjoys visiting the most, annoying Dr Finklestein mainly because she kept escaping his watch but also in part because he wasn't invited to Anur Transyl. However despite blending in well with the locales, Sally isn't made of flesh (undead or otherwise) like the Transylvanians or typical renditions of the Creature, but again a rag doll made of leaves.
  • While she can deal with losing some of those leaves, it does have her aware she could fall under the control of Swamp Thing. Not that she has anything to worry about, of course, and she's more concerned about the Other Mother and her horrific collection of "dolls". The Pumpkin Queen has ended up getting along with Coraline, relating to her own curiosity and desire to break out of a rut. Like basically anyone with a conscience, she is disgusted by Dr Bumby's actions of rape, murder, child trafficking and brainwashing involved in such. There's also his form in Wonderland, the Dollmaker...Angus Bumby is intrigued by her status as a living doll, which is all sorts of creepy coming from him. The murderous Chucky the Killer Doll is someone else Sally holds in contempt, unsurprisingly, though not to the sheer disgust she feels towards Bumby.
  • Asides from splitting her body apart and back again, which is also very useful in getting from large heights, she has decent precognition powers. However they come without warning and vanish just as quickly, so she would hardly consider them convenient. For reasons she can only theorize, they are more frequent when visiting the House of Prophecy and Fate. The Pumpkin Queen has come to sympathize with Cassandra and Absol, as they have suffered for their prescience, either due to being disbelieved for blamed for a foretold tragedy. Additionally Sally has extensive knowledge of potions, and is an expert seamstress, using a needle and thread to stitch herself back together. Sally was fascinated by Neith and her skills at textile work, and was excited by the fact she accepted her request for further teachings on the subject.

Two random rank ups I wanna change

Leia Skywalker to Intermediate Goddess because she’s a trained Jedi in both continuities. The difference being one of them still practiced but still has some great feats.

Darth Krayt to Greater God because even with his implants, he’s still called one of the greatest Sith Lords to live, almost trounces every other Sith Lord subordinate of his, and compared to Palpatine himself.

[up] [tup]

[up][up] for Muntz, the The Cids are a group of two airship builders, Captain Nemo is a insane submarine captain.

For sally, Lydia Deetz and Koume Shirasaka are perky goths. Meilin Lee is an example of Strict Parents Make Sneaky Kids, since even before the panda pushed her to be more daring, she attempts to hide away her romantic drawings of Devon, and it's implied that everything she says to Ming is at least subconsciously edited to please her or fit her expectations.

I feel bad I didn't think to include Devilman in the Akumaizer 3's profile sooner.

Akumaizer 3, Divine Trio of Aquatic Vessels Capable of Flight (Xavitan: Zabitan, Kenji Nagumo; Evil: Ibiru; Gabra: Gabura, Gabra-Cho)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/akumaizer_3.png

  • Domains: Demons, Swordsmanship, Machinery, Magic, Friendship
  • Heralds: Their human allies (Jun Nagusa, Ippei Shima and Mitsuhiko Shima), Darunia, The Demon Peace Party (Bascal, Noppelar, Noppelar Jr. and Namenameda), and their successors the Choujins (Kei Tsukimura / Bibyun for Xavitan, Ichiro Suga / Bashaan for Evil and Go Watabe / Zusheen for Gabra)
  • High Priest:
  • Followers:
  • Allies: All Ascended Toku Heroes (especially Takeshi Hongo / Kamen Rider 1, Hayato Ichimonji / Kamen Rider 2, Jiro / Kikaider and Gentaro Kisaragi / Kamen Rider Fourze), The Sailor Guardians, The 00 Cyborgs, Akira Fudo / Devilman, Dante, Sparda, Remilia Scarlet and Flandre Scarlet, Byakuren Hijiri, Konata Izumi
  • Enemies: SHOCKER, Dis, HIM, Malebolgia, Paradise Lost's Satan, Mundus, Scanty and Kneesocks, Corset
  • On Good Terms With: The Helltaker and the Demon Girls
  • Conflicting Opinion / Enemy Mine With: The Doom Slayer
  • The Akumaizer 3 are a trio of cyborg demons hailing from the Akuma Clan, a civilization located at the center of the Earth in a place known as Downworld. When a group of warmongers led the Akuma Clan to invade the surface with the goal of subjugating humanity, Xavitan, a half-human demon, defected to humanity's side. Evil and Gabra were sent after him, but Xavitan was able to sway both of them to his side. Together they formed the Akumaizer 3 to defend humankind from the militarists who corrupted their people and reform the Akuma Clan.
  • The ascension of the Akumaizer 3 was instigated by the Grand United Alliance of Good in order to bring more Toku Heroes into the Pantheon to counter SHOCKER and their coalition of villains. Their title was chosen because the Zaidabeck, the flying airship they travel in, resembles a blue angler fish and is also capable of disguising itself as a flying ghost ship.
  • Despite the GUAG's efforts, the Akumaizer 3's ascension took some time after they were spiritually imprisoned following their Final Battle against Geberu, the strongest commander of the Akuma Clan, as the result of a curse on Geberu's Immortal Shield. It would not be until Dr. Daima of the Daima Choujin Research Institute performed a ritual to break the curse that the Akumaizer 3's souls were set free. The Akumaizer 3 then entrusted three humans with their powers to become the Choujins and protect the world in their stead, before leaving to ascend into the Pantheon.
  • The Akumaizer 3 were welcomed with open arms by the Double Kamen Riders and Jiro / Kikaider, all three of whom were happy to see another Toku Hero from their era in the Pantheon. They also became close allies of the Himitsu Sentai Gorengers, helped by the number of similarities the Akumaizer 3 have to a Sentai team and the Gorengers in particular.
  • Although most Toku Heroes in the Pantheon were happy to have the Akumaizer 3 aboard, the three demons were hesitant to approach Gentaro Kisaragi, due to an incident where Gentaro and Haruto Soma fought evil doppelgangers of them. To their pleasant surprise, Gentaro went out of his way to befriend them, happy that there was a version of the Akumaizers he could be friends with.
  • SHOCKER were displeased by the Akumaizer 3's ascent since it meant they now had another set of Toku Heroes to deal with, especially since the Akumaizer 3's ascension was brought about by the Grand United Alliance of Good. The Akumaizer 3 were likewise disgusted to learn of SHOCKER's plans to enslave humanity and corrupt select humans into becoming Kaijins, and have readily joined with the other Toku Heroes in the Pantheon to oppose them.
  • The Akumaizer 3 were happy to find that there were plenty of heroic demons in the Pantheon besides them. The three would seek out Sparda in particular after hearing stories of how he turned against his fellow demons and fought to defend humanity from them, which the Akumaizer 3 find to be quite similar to their own journey. Xavitan also went out of his way to befriend Dante, finding commonality in the fact that both were half-human and half-demon.
  • Found another ally in Akira Fudo / Devilman, with whom Xavitan sympathizes with for being a Human-Demon Hybrid like himself, and for using his powers defend his loved ones from malicious demons. As such, the Akumaizer 3 have pledged to aid Akira in his battles.
  • Conversely, the Akumaizer 3 were not happy by the number of malicious demons in the Pantheon, and have made known their opposition to the likes of Dis, Malebolgia and Mundus, who has reciprocated the Akumaizer 3's enmity given their alliance with his sworn enemy Sparda.
  • A self-proclaimed "Friend to Children", in his spare time Gabra has been known to go into the House of Childhood and Adolescence and entertain most of the children there by assuming his ostrich-like Gabra-Cho form and dancing around.
  • Would end up encountering with the Scarlet Sisters after stumbling upon their mansion by chance. Despite the complex morality at play in Gensokyo, the Akumaizer 3 were happy to meet more devils who weren't actively malicious towards humans. Gabra even went out of his way to befriend Flandre, and even though he wound up needing stitches after she lost control of her powers while playing with him, still left on friendly terms with her.
  • Through the Scarlets, the Akumaizer 3 were able to meet more deities from Gensokyo and were happy to find both Yōkai and humans who wanted to get along, since most of the "youkai" they encountered before were members of the warmongering faction of the Akuma Clan. They particularly became close with Byakuren Hijiri after hearing of her efforts to bring about harmony between humans and youkai.
  • Hesitantly sought out the Doom Slayer after hearing of how he singlehandedly fought back and defeated the forces of the underworld, leading the Akumaizer 3 to believe he could make a valuable ally in their campaign against the evil demons in the Pantheon. Doomguy's reaction upon meeting them was at first confusion, given how they don't at all resemble the demons he's used to fighting, followed by hostility by virtue of them being demons. Despite this, the fact that he shares so many common foes with them means that Enemy Mines between Doomguy and the Akumaizer 3 are not unheard of.
  • Although they were at first worried that the Demon Girls from Helltaker would turn out to be more evil demons, the Akumaizer 3 were relieved to find that they were friendly for the most part and spent most of their time throwing parties instead of causing trouble.
  • Became enemies with Scanty and Kneesocks after making an attempt to convince the Demon Sisters to change their ways, only to be harshly rebuffed. The Akumaizer 3 were furthered displease to learn that their Arch-Enemy Mezalord had gained partial entrance into the Pantheon by becoming Scanty and Kneesocks's High Priest, and brought along several of his lieutenants as Followers.
  • Konata Izumi was excited to learn of the Akumaizer 3's ascension into the Pantheon since it meant she now had a chance to meet some of her childhood heroes. At the first opportunity, Konata approached the three demons and proceeded to sing aloud their theme song, much to their bemusement. Despite this, Akumaizer 3 were happy to have another human ally in the Pantheon.
  • According to some sources, the Akumaizer 3 and the rest of the Akuma Clan are not actually true demons at all, but the descendants of an ancient group of humans who migrated into the Earth to escape a disaster and modified themselves with machinery to survive in the harsh climate. These rumors have made some like Doomguy slightly more open to the prospect of working with them.
  • "Zarado! Elado! Garado!"

  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (Queen Hedrian is Neutral Evil, Inazuma Ginga is Chaotic Evil with shades of Chaotic Neutral)

  • Queen Hedrian Respected By: Most minions in the House of Villainy
  • The Machine Empire Black Magma are a cult of mechahumans based from the North Pole with their sights on world domination. To this end, they reawakened Queen Hedrian, the ruler of the Vader Clan, to aid them in their conquest of the world. However, Hedrian secretly had her own intentions of taking control of Black Magma and was soon joined by Amazon Killer, a Vader Clan field officer with whom she began plotting with. Things were further complicated by the arrival of Inazuma Ginga, a space outlaw and former partner of Amazon Killer's, whose entrance into Black Magma led to its membership descending into a series of backstabs that eventually caused it to collapse.
  • They were brought into the pantheon by the combined efforts of SHOCKER, the Black Cross King and the Grand United Alliance of Evil, who took notice of the number of powerful villains in the organization and believed they would be strong allies. They soon came to regret this however after discovering how volatile Black Magma is as an organization, with the amount of friction between the various factions within it making them very difficult to work with.
  • Currently there are two primary factions within Black Magma, one helmed by its original leader Führer Hell Saturn and the other by ex-Vader Clan members Queen Hedrian and Amazon Killer. There also exists a third faction led by Inazuma Ginga that is much smaller than the other two.
  • It has come to the Pantheon's attention that Black Magma may in fact be behind the invention of the smartphone, having at one point devised a plan to create an "all-knowing device" to turn humans complacent and lazy, a scheme that would be realized several decades later. A number of Super Sentai deities have become wary of using Apple products as a result of this.
  • Exclusive to Hell Saturn and Zero Girls:
    • Despite the fact that the GUAE were responsible for their ascension, Hell Saturn and the Zero Girls opted to join the Grand United Alliance of Machines instead, finding that they had much closer aligned goals. That being said, they're still willing to work with the GUAE on some occasions, although their decision hasn't left them on especially good terms with the GUAE.
    • Soon found close allies in the Cybermen, being greatly impressed by their Cyber-Conversion process, viewing it as a streamlined way to advance their goal of mechanizing the world.
    • Hell Saturn would find another strong ally in Dr. Wily after becoming impressed by the number of Robot Masters he was responsible for building. He has presently begun providing Black Magma's technology to the scientist so he can combine it with his process for building robots in order to create even stronger "Monger Masters." This alliance has however earned Hell Saturn and his followers the enmity of Mega Man and his friends, not helped by the fact that Black Magma have also expressed a desire to disassemble Mega Man in the hopes of implementing his power replicating technology in their own line of Mongers.
    • Ran afoul of Astro Boy and his friend Pluto after attempting to seize Pluto's schematics, having heard of his reputation as "the strongest robot" and seeking to use his technology to upgrade their Mongers. Astro Boy and Pluto meanwhile have made clear their opposition to the Mechahumans of Black Magma, believing they give robots a bad name with their constant terrorism in the name of their Black Sun God.
    • The Zero Girls were caught off guard when a young man named Hiro approached them asking for Zero Two, only for it to turn out to be a case of mistaken identity. Needless to say, both he and Zero Two weren't too pleased to learn of another "Zero Two" doing evil deeds out there.
    • It wasn't long after that the Zero Girls attracted the attention of Kirby, who confused their Zero Two with a certain foe of his. Even though the misunderstanding was cleared up, Kirby remains hostile to Black Magma after learning of their own evil plans.
    • Hell Saturn was able to convince Susie to ally with his faction by offering to help her build up a new version of the Haltmann Works Company by supplying her with their resources, including access to their machine for making Mongers. In exchange, Susie has begun providing Black Magma with schematics for the technology used by the HWC, with which Hell Saturn hopes to use to expand Black Magma's dominion into outer space.
  • Exclusive to Queen Hedrian and Amazon Killer:
    • Queen Hedrian was very happy to be reunited with the rest of her minions from the Vader Clan after naming them as her heralds, having lost all of them in her conflicts with the Denzimen and Demon King Banriki.
    • Unlike Hell Saturn, Hedrian and Amazon Killer accepted the GUAE's invitation to join. However, Hedrian herself has raised objections to the leadership style of many of its members, as she greatly cares about her servants and believes in treating minions with respect. Because of this, Hedrian has come to be greatly respected by most of the minions within the House of Villainy for her kind approach to leadership.
    • Took pity on the Doronbo Gang for the amount of mistreatment they suffered at the hands of their boss. As a result, thanks to Hedrian's reputation as a Benevolent Boss, it didn't take long for the Doronbo Gang to ally with Hedrian's faction, with Doronjo even striking up a friendship with Queen Hedrian. Boyacky has also begun building mechas for Hedrian to help her faction compete with Hell Saturn.
    • Despite the fact that two are very similar, Hedrian and the Evil Queen do not get along. Both are vain to the point where they won't admit to anyone but themselves being the Fairest of Them All, and Hedrian did not take kindly to the Evil Queen accusing her of copying her, accusing the Queen of copying her instead.
    • In contrast, Hedrian gets along much better with Queen Beryl and is sympathetic to her lust for Prince Endymion. Although there are conflicting reports as to how well Beryl treats her minions, Hedrian has tried to nudge her towards a more positive approach.
    • Amazon Killer would attract the attention of Esdeath after Esdeath heard talk of how strong Amazon Killer was and approached her with the suggestion that they team up. While Amazon Killer was perturbed by some of Esdeath's sadistic tendencies, she recognized how powerful an ally Esdeath could be and accepted her offer.
    • Plotted to kidnap Copernica after hearing that she was a robot who practiced magic. Being a sorceress herself, Hedrian hoped to reverse engineer Copernica to see if her technology could be used to enhance her powers and connectivity in any way. Luckily for Copernica, she was able to elude Black Magma with help from the Super Sentai deities and has now begun actively opposing them.
  • Exclusive to Inazuma Ginga:
    • While Inazuma Ginga is technically an enemy to all Toku Heroes, the Space Sheriffs of the Galactic Federal Police have identified Inazuma Ginga as a specific target of theirs due to him being a fugitive of their organization.
    • Though he prefers to operate on his own, in response to Hell Saturn and Hedrian allying with two of the Pantheon's Grand Alliances, Inazuma Ginga decided to join one himself to prevent his faction from being crushed by Hell Saturn and Queen Hedrian's faction. As such, Inazuma Ginga threw his lot in with the Grand United Alliance of Chaos, believing that their philosophy was the most closely aligned with his.
    • Because of his reputation as a space pirate and a fugitive of the Galactic Federal Police, Inazuma Ginga quickly became good friends with some of the other space pirates in the Pantheon, most notably Ridley and Admiral Razorbeard, who were impressed by the level of strength Inazuma Ginga displayed against Sun Vulcan and have invited him to come along with them next time they go planet-plundering.
  • Although the three factions of Black Magma are at odds most of the time, they can be forced to work together by the Omnipotent God, the true leader of Black Magma and the god that they worship, should he choose to intervene.

Anything else I should add, or are these about ready to go up?

Just imagine something here.

[up][up][up] [tup] for Samuel Beckette's restoration.

And after so many years and at least two revamps... I think I'm finally finished with Vayne and the Flay Cave. Regrettably, a bunch of interactions had to be removed due to the relevant entries being deleted in order to keep the profile condensed, BUT perhaps they could be "restored" by those characters' reworks *wink wink, nudge nudge* But with this said, I'll finally be accepting thumbs for this group, though feel free to chime in any last minute suggestions (even if they probably can't fit).

  • Vayne Aurelius was just a sixteen-year-old boy with a Mysterious Past living in an abandoned house in the mountains, raised by his faithful companion Sulpher, when he was found one day by a professor of Al-Revis Academy, who invited Vayne to join the school of alchemy. Despite lacking social skills, Vayne quickly made his first human friend in Jess and both would be "recruited" by the sophmore Flay for his workshop, dubbed "The Flay Cave", wherein they'd meet fellow freshman Nikki, a beastmen girl, and by Vayne's second year the Flay Cave would gain more members whom he would bond with: Roxis, a megane with a grudge against Vayne (at least initially); Pamela, a Cute Ghost Girl with a mischievious streak; Anna, a young female samurai; and Muppy, an alien who appears cute but has a sinister mind. Over the course of their stay in Al-Revis, the group would trek through all sorts of dungeons for class assignments and free-time activities, all the while uncovering Vayne's past and with it the fate of his father, the legendary alchemist Theofratus Aurelius...
  • The Flay Cave ascended to the Pantheon almost right after Vayne, Jess, Nikki, Flay, and Roxis graduated from Al-Revis; just before they departed from Anna, Pamela, and Muppy, a portal manifested in front of them. The group thought the portal to be the entrance to some new omen that threatened their world, but upon entering found themselves instead in the Court of the Gods. Apparently, rumors about the Flay Cave's adventures and hijinks had spread to the Pantheon and the Court immediately took interest in the group. Noting how quickly the students and faculty of Al-Revis heard news and rumors of the Flay Cave, and that the group gained bonuses from having chosen rumors spread about themselves, the Court of the Gods decided that the Flay Cave were great representatives for News Travels Fast and waited for the senior students of alchemy to graduate from their academy before ascending the whole group. Vayne and the rest were surprised to say the least on learning all this but, after a moment of processing this news, the Flay Cave became excited at becoming "Gods" and accepted their ascension. The news of their ascension traveled instantly throughout the Pantheon and a rumor about the Flay Cave already started spreading; the alchemists have yet to figure out what exact benefit this rumor granted them, but remarked that it made them feel divine.
    • On being informed about how each deity in the Pantheon can have a custom-designed temple, the Flay Cave immediately knew that their temple was going to be designed after their namesake workshop from Al-Revis. The temple is a perfect replica of the workshop but larger with numerous quality-of-life improvements installed, as well as spacious rooms for each member of the group.
  • Applies to all of them
    • As to be expected, the very first deities Vayne and the Flay Cave befriended were fellow alchemists, such as the heroes of Amestris (and their Xingese allies), Ilia of the Auspexes, and Eike Kusch. Though the alchemists whom the students/graduates of Al-Revis would have the closest relationship with would be Rorona, Totori, Meruru, and Lulua of Arland, as they hail from the same multiverse as the Flay Cave. Indeed, the two groups of alchemists feel a powerful sense of kinship with each other and noted many similarities with each other: practicing the exact same kind of alchemy, relying on crafting items to power themselves up, and sharing the urge to shout "Barrel!" when searching any. Pretty much the only major difference between the two is that Arland doesn't have any Mana, whereas in the Flay Cave's world Mana are not only plentiful but getting pacted to one is mandatory for any alchemist worth their salt. The Flay Cave regularly get together with the Arland Alchemists and other alchemists of the Pantheon to study their versions of alchemy and to help fight their enemies, mostly the villains of Amestris who embody the evils of alchemy, which is enough to earn the wrath of each member of the Flay Cave.
    • Since being students of Al-Revis Academy was a significant part of their lives, the Flay Cave would soon get acquainted with deities whose lives were similarly defined by attending a magic school, such as Harry, Ron, and Hermione of Hogwarts, Akko and Diana of Luna Nova Academy, and Luz and Amity of Hexside. The Flay Cave gets along with them all to varying degrees, with Roxis and Anna favoring the likes of Hermione, Diana, and Amity more than the others whereas Flay, Nikki, and Pamela favors Akko and Luz for their eccentricness. And of course, no school is complete without its teachers and faculty, and the Flay Cave got accustomed to many of them such as the Hogwarts staff and Byleth, with whom they all get along with amicably, with the strict exceptions of Argus Filch (for being an unpleasant caretaker) and Severus Snape (due to similarities with Isholde Schelling, a teacher who antagonized them in relation to Vayne). The Flay Cave also don't spare any mercy towards Dolores Umbridge and Agatha Trunchbull for being the most wicked sort of teachers.
    • Seeing how the Flay Cave's empowerment from rumors and news about themselves spreading rapidly got them ascended in the first place, the group makes an effort to maintain rumors and news about themselves known. Since the Al-Revis student whom the Flay Cave paid to spread rumors about themselves couldn't be in the Pantheon, the group had to find someone who could and thought they found that in the form of Aya Shameimaru: a gossipy tengu who runs her own magazine which hosts news and tabloid rumors. However, after paying Aya a substantial amount of money to spread specific rumors about themselves, the alchemists were disappointed to see in the following Bunbunmaru magazine that the rumors they requested were not spread but rather Aya's own baseless conjecture about themselves, along with other crap that hardly constitutes news. The Flay Cave didn't even recieve any benefit for the rumors Aya spread about themselves and felt ripped off by the youkai, after which they were informed that Aya is a dubious journalist at best and they should've known better than to seek out her services. Since then, the Flay Cave have become one of Aya Shameimaru's most vocal critics, with the most violent among them (namely Muppy) threatening her to give them back their money. In the meantime, the group are trying to find a deity who can spread more authentic and effective rumors about themselves...
  • Exclusive to Vayne
    • If there's one thing that Vayne is most known for in the Pantheon, it's what a pushover he can be: allowing himself to get talked into whatever shenanigans his friends get up to, no matter his own objections. Some gods have gone as far as to joke about Vayne being the most weak-willed hero because of this, though some others are understanding of Vayne's timidness considering his only friend growing up was a cat. And to be fair, Vayne's involvement with his friends' misadventures would end up helping him grow as a person and form tighter bonds with each member of the Flay Cave, which ends up saving his life in seven out of eight timelines (all seven of which are considered "canon" by the Pantheon). Though Vayne had been working to become more assertive, especially after meeting with the current god of Extreme Doormat, Barry Berkman, who allowed himself to be coerced into multiple crimes (mostly murders) and would die as a wreck of a man. Vayne could only express pity for Barry, and while he won't accept his friendship for the time being, Vayne hopes that the ex-Marine can redeem himself for good within the Pantheon.
    • Speaking of that cat, Vayne almost never goes anywhere without Sulpher by his side and vice versa: to Vayne, Sulpher is more than just a friend who happens to be a cat, Sulpher is his brother-like mentor figure. Vayne thought that others would consider such a dynamic strange but he was pleasantly surprised to learn that there were other gods who were mentored by cats in the form of Kiki and the Sailor Guardians, whose respective mentors happen to be black cats as well. Vayne also met with Subaru Mikazuka, an introvert who opened up to people more for the sake of his cat, Haru. Kiki, Subaru, and the Sailor Guardians were perplexed that Vayne actually uses Sulpher as a weapon, with the cat able to transform into weapons and armor for Vayne, but they otherwise enjoy Vayne and Sulpher's company. Sulpher himself gets along fairly well with Jiji, Luna, and Haru, Snark-to-Snark Combat with them notwithstanding.
    • For much of Vayne's stay in Al-Revis, it was thought that Sulpher was Vayne's Mana. By senior year, however, it would turn out that Sulpher was an ordinary domestic cat: Vayne was his Mana. Specifically, Vayne was the "Mana of Wishes", capable of twisting reality to fulfill the desires of others or himself, be it reviving the dead or killing the unkillable. Most deities would crave such power, but Vayne considered it a heavy burden as this revelation caused him to be ostracized by the rest of the academy, viewed as a potential danger that was ultimately proven right as an unconcious wish of his to "disappear" nearly destroyed the world. Fortunately for Vayne, his "Mana powers" had its own physical manifestation in the form of "Other Vayne/Crazed Eye" that could be discarded from himself, freeing himself of the power but at the cost of the power going unstable without a vessel, but that was no problem for Vayne and his friends to take care of. After that, Vayne became an ordinary human, unable to grant wishes but also could no longer speak with Sulpher or cast his shadowy magic, though those latter two abilities were restored on Vayne's ascension. Despite the loss of his wish-granting power, Vayne would get acquainted with other wish-granting deities such as the Genie of Agrabah, Cosmo and Wanda, Calypso, and the Incubators. Goes without saying that Vayne is good friends with the former three (even if he thinks Cosmo is too irresponsible to wield such power) while he loathes the other two.
    • Along with the above, Vayne isn't a naturally born person but an artificial one, created by Theofratus Aurelius specifically to aid in his suicide. While Vayne had come to terms with his origin and intends to live out his life, part of him is still bothered by his artificial status, as well as his reason for existence. Of course, there were plenty of other deities who could relate with Vayne on that front; many of them being clones to replace presumably deceased people and others being "original" Artificial Humans made for specific purposes, and the good-aligned of them met with Vayne to offer their support, which he greatly appreciated and reciprocated. Incidentally, while he isn't considered one in his own world, Vayne is technically a homunculus due to being the creation of an alchemist, which naturally drew the attention of Father and his Homunculi. Obviously, the only one of the Homunculi Vayne is willing to befriend is Greed as the rest are almost literally evil incarnate, and he especially abhors Father for wanting to restore Vayne's wish-granting power to achieve godhood.
    • "Just... Please be gentle."
  • Exclusive to Jess
    • Vayne's first human friend, Jess is an upbeat and friendly girl who's easily the most passionate about alchemy of the group; perhaps a little too passionate. You see, Jess loves to experiment with her synthesizing, attempting to craft potions and medicines of the strangest sorts, and most of those attempts have Explosive Results. In fact, Jess' enrollment into Al-Revis Academy was entirely due to her practicing alchemy without a license and needing to graduate lest she face prison time. While that's no longer a concern now that she has graduated, Jess is every bit of a "Mad Alchemist" as before and had taken to using the many unique "ingredients" of the Pantheon for her experiments. Didn't take very long for Jess to get blacklisted from almost every location with a cauldron or chemistry set, with only the Arland Alchemists allowing Jess into their atelier under their strict supervision. Though Jess did gain some friends from her experimental alchemy in the form of Megumin and Mona, who have a shared love for explosives and were amazed by Jess' explosive alchemy. Incidentally, Jess is uncannily knowledgeable about bombs and able to readily craft them mid-battle, so she didn't mind befriending those two. Though Mona's boyfriend, Plague Knight, is too much of a Jerkass for Jess to tolerate, with his ichor-covered armor making her want to avoid him wherever possible.
    • Despite her questionable medicine crafting, Jess serves as The Medic for the Flay Cave, casting unique healing spells via her Mana, the Mana of Wind, as well as being able to synthesize a healing vase mid-battle. As to be expected, the Mana of Wind also helps Jess in more offensive manners via summoning tornadoes to either attack foes directly or to send the countless, large junk within Jess' bag up into the sky to rain down on their enemies, allowing Jess to be quite the Combat Medic. Aerith Gainsborough is a White Mage with a Limit Break called "Healing Wind" that heals her party for half their max HP, and both she and the Priestess are impressed with Jess' healing capability. Upon learning of Aerith's fate in her native world, as well as the trauma the Priestess endured, Jess expressed utmost sympathy for the healers; sympathy that was very much reciprocated by the two once they learned about Jess' "condition". Conversly, Jess did not have a good time with Jack Horner. She intially tried bonding with him, given he too had a magical bag, but she was sadly unaware he used said bag to try and smuggle all the magic in the world for himself. Jack tried, and naturally failed to steal the bag, which ended up transforming him into candy, but it hasn't stop him from trying to steal it from time to time.
    • That condition of Jess? She has a shortened lifespan due to an accident in an otherwise successful curing process for a deadly disease she caught as a child. It's not known how much longer Jess has but she's destined to die much sooner than her still living friends, or anyone else in her generation. Most would be bitter or depressed with such a fate, but Jess had long come to terms with this and maintains an upbeat attitude, wanting to make the most of her life while she can. Certainly helps that her ascension ensures Jess an afterlife wherein she could still be with her friends. Nonetheless, many deities who learned of Jess' condition expressed absolute sympathies, with those of great scientific or magical skill working alongside Vayne to find a cure for her shortened lifespan while those with similarly shortened lives became quick friends with Jess, such as Yuuki Konno and Solid Snake; the former being an especially good friend of Jess due to being a fellow teenage girl who lived her short life joyfully. Through other deities, Jess also learned of the King of Armello, a once good ruler who's doomed to die due to the Rot that infects him, which tragically makes him too hostile for Jess to befriend, but she's no less determined to synthesize a medicine that could cure the Rot without killing him.
    • "Aw, boo. How boring."
  • Exclusive to Nikki
    • Vayne's second friend, Nikki is an impulsive yet down-to-earth girl who stands out for being a Beastmen, a group of people who are rare in her native world, so Nikki was surprised to see that "beastmen" are much more prevalent within the Pantheon. Individuals whom Nikki found particularly interesting in this regard are the Mew Mews, a group of human teenage girls who are able to transform into magically empowered beastmen equivalents to animals they possess the DNA of, with which they use to fight aliens (to which Nikki low-key tries to sic the group on Muppy). Though getting along with the Mew Mews as a whole, Nikki is particularly good friends with Ichigo Momomoya, who carries the DNA of the Irimote Mountain Cat and not only transforms into a Cat Girl, but also displays cat-like traits even in human form. It also helps that Nikki and Ichigo have a few things in common, namely being motivated by love and sharing a big appetite, the latter of which resulted in Nikki becoming a regular at Mew Cafe. There was also mutual confusion between Nikki and the Dragon Hunters as some of its members are Lucier, whose men possess pointed ears while the women have cat-like ears, but Nikki would later get along with the hunters, particularly the female members.
    • Aside from hammerswinging and flailing, Nikki is able to call upon Beast-Type Monsters to aid her in battle, albeit after defeating them with her Heart Cracker or Heartful Action moves These inlcude.... H'aanit of the Eight Travelers finds the violence of those moves overkill but otherwise approves of Nikki's beast taming skills, something she actively employs in her own adventures, and she even trusts Nikki enough that she allows the beastgirl to summon her pet snow leopard, Linde, into battle. Besides fauna, Nikki also has impressive power over flora, thanks to her pact with the Mana of Trees. This mix of physical prowess and plant magic caused Nikki to become a sparring partner with Anna of the Epic Battle Fantasy Team, who makes use of similar techniques in fights; being an archer with access to nature magic. But even before her pact, Nikki seemed to care a great deal about plant-life as she was the most outraged at Tony's destruction of the Huffin Tree. Such an attitude towards a single tree instantly got Nikki in the good graces of the Lorax, who wished that the lives of the truffula trees were recognized by the Once-ler and his family before their decimation. Dongbaek also appreciates Nikki's pact with the Mana of Trees, but Nikki isn't so sure about Dongbaek due to her extreme luddite views.
    • As a consequence of their species' low population, female beastmen are instinctively driven to seek out a mate or several and have lots of kids, and Nikki is no exception in this regard, continuing her habit of being a massive flirt to all teenage male deities, much to the outrage of their girlfriends. This caught the attention of Kyu Sugardust, a love fairy whose job is to help single people attract lovers, and reached out to the beastgirl to take her on as a client, even if she suffers the exact opposite problem. This also got Nikki acquainted with Amy Rose, a pink hedgehog who's famous for being flirty with a certain blue hedgehog boy and wielding a hammer. Another prominent trait of Nikki's is her shockingly good singing skills, which has attracted both positive and... Too positive attention. She likes pairing up with Mima Kirigoe and Retsuko because of this, who help give her advice on how to handle this type of situation. Unfortunately, Nikki's singing history made its way to the Dazzlings, a trio of sirens who use their Mind-Control Music to cause hatred and discord among their listeners for them to feed on, and took an interest in the beastgirl for the particularly violent emotions her singing inspires in certain men. Nikki, of course, isn't interested in Dazzlings' MO and actively stands against the three, using her own enthralling voice to distract everyone from their hate-inducing songs.
    • "Aha! One, two, three, and you're mine!"
  • Exclusive to Pamela
    • Pamela was once a student of Al-Revis Academy who died of mysterious circumstances; she can't remember due to memory issues. One thing Pamela knew for certain was that she would "pass on" if she left the academy. Not wanting to leave the material world, Pamela remained at Al-Revis for the next century or two, easing her boredom by scaring the freshman every summer and acting as the "guardian" of the library. Being a sweet if mischievious ghost, Pamela made quick friends with most good-aligned ghosts in the Pantheon, starting with Yuyuko Sagyouji and Menma, who are Cute Ghost Girls much like Pamela herself. On that note, Pamela decided to befriend Casper the Friendly Ghost due to finding him adorable; Casper isn't too sure about her due to Pamela's love of scaring people and her manipulative tendencies, though he nonetheless considers Pamela an ally since she's ultimately harmless. And then there's Danny Fenton/Phantom, who fascinates Pamela a great deal due to being "half-ghost"; having all the powers and attributes of a ghost but being a living person otherwise. Pamela was also interested to hear that communicating with the dead was a relatively common ability in the Pantheon, with the most noteworthy being Cole Sears, Norman Babcock, and Agatha Prenderghast. Out of interest, Pamela decided to give each a visit and took an instant liking to them, what with all three being young kids whom Pamela found to be cute.
    • Pamela is the least inclined to fight of the group, but her teddy bear (possessed by the Mana of Life, whom she's pacted to) is more than willing to attack on her behalf. "Teddy" is equipped with razor-sharp claws, can change size and shape to stomp or chomp on a foe, and can even suck the life out of enemies and give them to Pamela or her own group. A few who had seen Pamela's teddy bear in action compared it to that of SCP-1048 ("Builder Bear"), the current god of Killer Teddy Bear, which got Pamela curious enough to check it out. Pamela thought it was cute at first, but then she saw it's 'creations' and became so distressed that her teddy bear attacked the SCP with the immense ferocity. Since then, Pamela had made it a point to punish Builder Bear should she encounter it outside of its temple. Sometime after that, Pamela heard about another "evil teddy bear" who just so happened to be pink just like Teddy named Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear (Lotso for short) and decided to investigate him. Upon meeting Lotso, Pamela failed to see what was so evil about him: he was soft, cuddly, and smelled of strawberries! Pamela thought Lotso so adorable, she was going to have him be Teddy's new friend. But Lotso was freaked out at seeing a ghost and especially feared her teddy bear, who glared at him with jealous eyes, and booked it as fast as possible. To this day, Pamela is seeking out Lotso, who hides from her in absolute dread.
    • As she learned from the Alchemists of Arland, Pamela has a counterpart from that world who is a separate, distinct person yet shares her name and personality. After looking into the multiverse she and the Arland Alchemists hail from, Pamela discovered that there are a whole bunch of other Pamela Ibis' in most of the other worlds; all being ghost girls with the same personality and identity but otherwise separate people with minor differences. Pamela was blown away to say the least at this revelation and pondered if there was anyone else who were "constants" in their native multiverses. This lead to Pamela encountering Cid Pollendina and Cid Highway, who are just two of many Cids from the Final Fantasy multiverse. Though the Cids vary in terms of personality and appearance, most of them share one thing in-common: being engineering geniuses who have built or at least own their own airships. The two men were humored when Pamela introduced herself and revealed herself to have multiple counterparts across her home multiverse as well, the Cids not even being bothered by her being a teenage ghost; they and their counterparts have seen stranger. When she doesn't feel like traveling along the ground, Pamela likes to take a ride in either of the Cid's airships.
    • "Teddy, do your best~!"
  • Exclusive to Flay
    • Though Vayne is the one whom the group follows, Flay is the official leader of the Flay Cave (as the name should imply): being the one whom the workshop belonged to and having recruited Vayne, Jess, and Nikki for it in the first place, and then later dragged Anna into the workshop shortly after her orientation. A boisterous and eccentric young man, Flay craves excitement and does whatever he feels like doing in the moment, no matter how much trouble it gets him with the teachers and other students. In particular, Flay loved to masquerade as a superhero under the pseudonym "Defender of Justice", protecting the innocent and punishing evildoers. So it came to no surprise from the rest of the workshop that Flay would become ecstatic with all the superheroes in the Pantheon, and even the supervillains to an extent. While Flay gets along to varying degrees with most superheroes, he's particularly good friends with Deadpool as they have similar interests and motivation. Though Flay has developed a notable relationship with Batman, which Vayne at least thought was odd at first as Batman seemed the type to be most annoyed with someone like Flay. However, Flay does share some key things in common with the Dark Knight, namely their use of high tech gadgets named after themselves and being masters of Stealth Hi/Bye. This coupled with Flay's capabilities fifteen years into the future made Batman see good potential in the red-haired alchemist and take him on as a protege of sorts, ever so subtly trying to guide Flay to be more quiet, responsible, and seek out true justice rather than just entertain himself.
    • Despite his "hero complex", Flay held an infamous reputation among both teachers and students in Al-Revis for being the academy's Delinquent, causing trouble wherever he went on a daily basis. And to be fair, even Flay's most heroic actions cause a lot of antics that distracts everyone from their studies, as well as leaves behind messes that everyone has to clean up. Owing to this delinquency reputation, Flay found friends in the form of the Tohoshinki and John Bender of the Breakfast Club, who are similarly good-natured delinquents. Well, at least the Tohoshinki are, and for Kanzaki and Himekawa it was only after having a change of heart through their bond with Oga. John is a great deal more cyncial and anti-social, owing to his Abusive Parents, though he does have a Hidden Heart of Gold that Flay is able to see. Despite being on bad terms with teachers overall, though, Flay gets along really well with Izumi Curtis of the Amestrian Alchemists, probably one of the most harsh and terrifying teachers in the Pantheon. Though the Flay Cave didn't find this too surprising: Flay values excitement above all else and considers "hands on experience" more practical than written tests and the like, so a mentor like Izumi works perfectly for someone like him. It helps that Flay also gets along with Sig Curtis, Izumi's husband, given the man's immense strength.
    • Though he flunked out of graduating multiple times, Flay is not to be mistaken for an idiot; he's actually a very clever schemer and an intuitive alchemist, once successfully making a potion out of instinct instead of recipe. And thats not even mentioning Flay's engineering capabilities, chief among them being his mechsword: a mechanical marvel of a sword that can toss giant shurikens and transform into a powerful laser cannon or increasingly powerful drills. The mechsword, among Flay's other devices, were enough to impress Phineas and Ferb, who were especially astounded that Flay was able to achieve such technology in a medieval, High Fantasy world. The "drill transformations" of Flay's mechsword also immediately caught Team Dai-Gurren's interest, considering their own weaponization of drills. That combined with Flay's own boisterous personality made him nigh-instant best friends with the whole group, especially with their former leader Kamina, to the point of being considered an unofficial member of the team.
    • "STRIKE OF JUSTICE!!!"
  • Exclusive to Roxis
    • A megane with a serious mind and sense of honor, Roxis started off as a rather hateful rival to Vayne, even after joining (or rather, forced into) Vayne's party. No explanation was ever given for Roxis' hatred towards Vayne, though some gods had theorized based on Roxis' background that he was envious of Vayne: what with Vayne being the son of a legendary alchemist and an alchemy prodigy himself, whereas Roxis' own "alchemy famous" family fell from grace and he had to study his ass off to get to Vayne's level. It didn't help that Vayne would prove to be Roxis' superior at alchemy throughout their life, though by that point they became friendly rivals. Regardless, Roxis' rivalry with Vayne became widespread enough to earn the attention of gods who relate to having such a dynamic with their own rivals, chief among them being Vegeta. Much like Roxis, Vegeta is descended from a long line of nobility (or more accurately, royalty) that had fallen from grace, and he seeks to become the most powerful warrior of his universe but is consistently one-upped by Son Goku, with whom Vegeta started as a villainous rival to before developing into a Friendly Rivalry. Vegeta noticed the similarities Roxis shared with himself and took a liking to the alchemist, which Roxis reciprocated, though neither of the two would admit to being friends due to their pride and stoicism respectively. Regardless, Roxis and Vegeta silently encourage each other to one day beat their eternal rivals.
    • On the above note, Roxis' family, the Rosenkrantz, were nobility who were famed for producing brilliant alchemists. But Roxis was the first Rosenkrantz in over a century who showed any potential as an alchemist, with his father and those before him having failed to measure up, leading the family to ruin. Roxis was under a lot of pressure to become a great alchemist to get his family out of their poor state and while he hides his feelings behind his cold demeanor, Roxis is sympathetic to nobles and others descendants of long lineages that had fallen on hard times, with Amica and Hugo de Rune being the most noteworthy of such given the sheer misfortune they experienced, growing up in both a war and plague. While no less sympathetic to Hugo, Roxis gets along most with Amica given her natural aptitude for alchemy that she inherited from her mother, which prompted the bespectacled alchemist to start teaching her some of his own alchemic knowledge in the hopes they will help her survive in her own world. Roxis also feels sorry for Sara Crewe for the tragic death of her father and poverty she endured afterwards, and is silently glad that she's in a better place as of now. Given their mutual love of reading, Roxis will sometimes get together with Sara to read some books.
    • When it comes to combat, Roxis wields one of the more unusual weapons of the Flay Cave, that being cards: Roxis can not only use his cards as thrown weapons and a whip, but also use them to manipulate time and magically damage a foe. Roxis' use of cards for combat caught the interest of Luxord and Reina, two deities who also wield cards as weapons. Well, Luxord uses cards as weapons; Reina wields an assortment of weapons (with a preference for knives) but her actions in combat is dictated by cards. Roxis was suspicious of Luxord, given his dubious morality, but came around to the Nobody after a fair game of cards. Since then, Roxis sometimes meets with Luxord and Reina to hone his combat skills, as well as teach them some of his tecniques. Roxis also utilizes the Mana of Light's power in battle, a pact which he worked hard to secure due to the Mana of Light being a massive Troll. Despite that, though, Mana of Light does have standards and it's through him that Roxis came into conflict with the Light of Destruction, the Radiance, and Arthur Light/Dr. Light; all of whom Mana of Light considers to be disgraces towards his element and wants them destroyed, which Roxis is more than happy to help with in order to rid the world of such vile beings.
    • "I won't lose. Not to him."
  • Exclusive to Anna
    • The youngest member of the Flay Cave, Anna is a twelve* year old girl who is easily the most disciplined and mature of the group, owing to her samurai-esque upbringing. Indeed, Anna is the daughter of a dojo master who trained her in swordfighting at a very early age, and Anna is expected to take over the family dojo in his stead. However, Anna found that she has as much talent at alchemy as she does with swords and attended Al-Revis Academy to decide which of the two she should dedicate her life to. In the end, Anna decided to blend both practices together, using alchemy to synthesize poisons and bombs that she would then utilize in sword fights. All these qualities made Anna great friends with Makoto, who is similarly a young yet very tough girl who inherited her father's dojo and is one hell of a Combat Pragmatist. Anna also got along well with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, who run their own dojos (Daniel having inherited his from Nariyoshi Miyagi), and from them Anna learned about John Kreese (Johnny's former sensei) and became immediate enemies with the man due to embodying the worst sort of dojo master. Anna also got her acquainted with Roronoa Zoro as she reminds him of his deceased childhood rival/friend, Kuina, on account of being a young, disicplined girl talented with swords and the daughter of a dojo master. Zoro is glad that Anna's father isn't misogynistic like Kuina's was and warned her to be careful around stairs, while Anna is impressed with Zoro's unconventional sword style.
Anna: Three swords... That is genius! You must teach me this style at once!
    • As much as Flay and others might deny it, Anna is easily the deadliest member of the workshop. Though her actual attack strength isn't as high as Flay's or Nikki's, Anna is able to consistently strike critical damage and she's just behind Nikki in terms of speed, making her quite the Lightning Bruiser. And then there's Anna's weapon, a katana longer than she is tall and apparently sharp enough to slice through dimensions, which Anna actively employs to create portals for herself to become even faster. That particular skill got Anna compared with Raven Branwen, who currently represents Dimensional Cutter, though Anna came to resent that comparison upon learning that Raven is a selfish Dirty Coward who leads a tribe of bandits. Anna is also pacted to the Mana of Illusion, who only really assists Anna by giving her an Older Alter Ego during her Finishing Move. Nonetheless, Anna gets along well with good or neutral aligned illusionists such as Zoroark, and has a particular dislike for evil illusionists like Quentin Beck/Mysterio.
    • As mature and composed as she can be, Anna can still be emotionally childish and has a loose grasp on reality. To start, she is a Neat Freak of the highest order, to the point that none of the Flay Cave shows up for her scheduled cleaning days because Anna would just boss them around the whole time. Anna would find that very few other deities tolerate Anna's incredible tidiness, with one of the few exceptions being the OCD and germaphobic Verminators, whom Anna appreciates for keeping the pests of the Pantheon under control. Anna also has a wild sense of imagination; not so much in the sense of making up friends or locations but just completely misinterpreting situations, with a key example being when Anna thought that the rest of the workshop were about haze her and reacted violently to them, but they were really just telling her to ease up on the neat freakiness. This imagination of Anna's caused her to be among those who thinks Chance the Gardener to be a profound and philosophical man when he's really a simple-minded fool. To this day, Anna still comes to Chance for his advice, which has caused him to believe Anna to be a samurai girl who's really into gardening.
    • "You will not be able to see my moves!"
  • Exclusive to Muppy
    • The last member of the Flay Cave, Muppy is an alien prince from a distant planet who wound up in the Mana Ruins near Al-Revis Academy, where he hibernated for two thousand "space years" until his pot-shaped UFO was discovered by Vayne and friends for their summer project. To calm the confusion/hostility of his sudden appearance, Muppy claimed to be a foreign student with congenital birth defects, which managed to convince everyone except Nikki, and shortly after Muppy was enrolled into the school and recruited to the workshop. Muppy initially viewed the Flay Cave as a bunch of gullibles to take advantage of, but he eventually developed a genuine loyalty to the group (excepting Nikki, the two harboring mutual dislike), though this didn't stop Muppy from scheming to take over their world in between repairing his spaceship. And now that he's ascended, Muppy has his sights set on taking over the Pantheon, which immediately got him into a rivalry with all other conquering aliens like Marvin the Martian, Zinyak, and especially Zim, an Irken who also disguises himself as a human student in order to take over Earth. And as to be expected, Muppy became enemies with Dib Membrane, Zim's nemesis who is always trying to expose him for the alien invader he is to other humans, and Nikki decided to team up with Dib to expose both Zim and Muppy to everyone who believes them to be humans. Though Muppy also gained the interest of the Bedtime Stories Crew, who want to study how he managed to convince most people that he's a human.
    • When it comes to Bizarre Alien Biology, that of Muppy's species is among the most bizarre: Muppy doesn't have any blood, his height stretches and shrinks with humidity, the 'pompon' on his head can cause him to self-destruct when squeezed, and Muppy goes through "spawning season" every twenty space years with the resulting babies starting off as empty shells of air that can be ethically popped like balloons before they grow any meat. Needless to say, many scientists such as Dr. Vahlen and Dr. Tygan of XCOM expressed great interest in "studying" Muppy's physiology, which got the alien rather on edge. Knowing that Muppy won't hesitate to start firing bombs and missiles everywhere to defend himself, the Flay Cave convinced the would-be alien dissectors to keep their distance and have someone harmlessly study Muppy's biology, with that somebody turning out to be Olimar due to his ability to understand alien creatures by mere observance. Muppy certainly thought Olimar to be harmless and soon developed a rapport with the Hocotatian, the two often exchanging stories about their respective families, life on their home planets, and more. It helped that Muppy's 'pompon' was evocative of Olimar's antenna, and the Pikmin's leaf/bulb/flowers. Olimar would come to defend Muppy from critics much like he does for Louie, his co-worker at Hocotate Freight, but ironically Muppy would come to despise Louie as the gluttonous man views Muppy as some weird stew due to his pot-shaped UFO and persistently tries to eat him. Not even getting turned into a Puni by Muppy's Transformation Ray and killed right after deterred Louie's desire to have a taste at the "Floating Pink Sausage Stew".
    • As to be expected, Muppy's home planet is far more technologically advanced than Al-Revis' Earth; in addition to his UFO and its many gizmos, Muppy's home planet has entertainment media like anime and video games, with Muppy having been an avid player of strategy RPGs*. As a consequence, Muppy is the most Genre Savvy of the group and routinely references various anime and games he's watched/played, and can notice any tropes they come across. This incidentally caused Muppy to have an aversion to Calculon due to how cliche'd and hammy the robot's acting is. Muppy also called out Jess and Nikki as "extras", though that actually applies to himself more than any other member of the Flay Cave. And due to Al-Revis' Earth's complete lack of entertainment media, among other things, Muppy has a rather condescending attitude towards Earth cultures, which got him into conflict with other aliens who actually enjoy Earth cultures such as Astral and Jazz. Orbulon of WarioWare Inc. also disagreed with Muppy's views on Earth culture, though he's much friendlier with the alien alchemist since he too is an alien who desires to conquer the planet (albeit in a very casual, relaxed way).

I'm back, and thanks to a brief reminder from RJ-19-CLOVIS-93, I've decided to work on an unfinished draft from over a year ago that I had abandoned since then. I've made some updates and gave him some interactions with like-minded characters (including one with Mr. Krabs, an equally ruthless, and money-grubbing businessman), and a ban from the House of Family (for obvious reasons). Please note that this is a work in progress, and any suggestions would be helpful.

@ Shield Knight: Chief Vitalstatix uses a shield as his primary weapon. He also has some fellow Shield Wielders: Mash Kyrielight/Shielder, Brigitte Lindholm and Zhang Xingcai as allies who could be friends with Shield Knight.

@ Judge Doom: He would probably be banned from House of Music and any other house or halls with Pianos in since he dropped a piano on Teddy Valiant killing him.

@Kaotics [tup]

I think I'll just do it now, I'm proposing the next set of characters:
  • Bloody Bunny and Dark Rabbit, Bloody Deities of Levels of a Living Toy: The reason is that the series has varying types of toys and dolls, some non sentient, others are sentient and hoe they are sentient varies, some are made by magic, others by putting the souls of children that were freshly grinded into dolls, some scientific form of it, etc. In conclusion, there are many types of sentient dolls and other toys, and both got their sentience through different means, BB's origins are many versions while DR's went through a scientific conversion.

  • The Robot Masters, Divine Robot Army of Invalidated Boss Battle Victories: Everytime we beat a Robot Master, they always return, they will always return for a boss gauntlet at the end of Wily's castle and give Mega Man an ultimate challenge at the end of every classic game. Hell, Wood Man came back in the 8th classic game, showing that Wily always rebuilds the Robot Masters, negating any lasting victory over them and making said battle, to not count.

  • *Kira* Miki, Idol Goddess of True Personas Behind Drunkenness: She initially hides her true feelings and personality behind of a kind diva personality, but when we get her drunk enough, she reveals her true personality which is a much more brash and aggressive and even goes on a boasting speech of herself.

Review on an potential new idea: I am considering a couple options regarding The Birch. One, suggested by Nights Da Jester, is Guardian Entity. It is an engimatic Mysterious Protector that, through summoning, has the sworn goal of protecting whoever summons it, and nothing more. However it is willing to get its hands bloody. The other is that it is a replacement for Cyth V'sug as the profile there is not all that hot. The Birch has a roughly female shape, but a face like a skeleton, has no eyes, and a head that's covered in branches. I am aware that it is not in the trope page/it in its character page but it otherwise seems to fit as a Guardian Entity. What route should I pursue? Do you instead believe there is a third option I am missing? Or should I just give up the ghost

Alright! I put this off way too long, but here's an updated version of Andy's profile, now hitting that minimum paragraph requirement. I tried to finish by writing a paragraph about a relationship with Jesse Pinkman, but I couldn't come up with a whole paragraph's worth of material so I just combined it with another paragraph. Made a bunch of fixes and added in a few extra details and here we have it. Credit to RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 for helping me out and writing some of the parts.

  • In 1947 Andy was sentenced to Shawshank State Prison for two consecutive life sentences after being convicted of killing his wife and her lover in a supposed deadly affair, though in truth the real cause of her death was from a burglar. There he befriended the prison dealer, did tax filings for the warden who frequently abused him, brought up the quality of life in the prison, while he was doing that, little to anyone's knowledge, he was planning his escape. He spent decades mining a hole in the wall of his cell, concealing it with a series of sexy posters. The warden tried to break his spirit so Andy would never leave the prison, but he had underestimated his sheer will and hopeful spirit. In 1966, Andy Dufresne had escaped. He assumed the identity of Randall Stephens, escaping to freedom in a Mexican oceanside town with well over $300,000 of Norton's laundered money. A year later, his prison friend Ellis Redding would join him on the outside.
  • Andy had always planned to make his new start after escaping prison in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. However, upon receiving his invitation from the pantheon, he figured it was a place where he could truly leave his past behind. This invitation was earned because of a moment once he had final crawled out of the shit-filled sewers of Shawshank to his freedom. In a moment of sheer euphoria, he took of his shirt and put his arms to the sky, as the rain poured down on him. In a way, he was able to achieve this, but he found he got a little more then he bargained for, as the pantheon is a strange place. Not contempt with abandoning his past aspirations, he continued his goal of starting a small hotel. The pantheon provided the available resources for him to build this hotel (also serving as his temple), but the accommodation business is a little different in the pantheon then back in Mexico. Vacancy is mostly occupied by various people and creatures visiting different ascended gods. Through this trade Andy has met a wide variety of colorful characters, so business is often troublesome, but rarely dull.
  • Not long after his release from prison, Andy invited his long time prison friend Ellis Boyd 'Red' Redding to the pantheon as his herald, as he promised a long time ago (even if the plan changed a little). It was a joyous, if a little confusing, reunion, as Red was elated to reunite with his friend but had trouble wrapping his head around this whole pantheon deal. They're now both hard at work maintaining the hotel, Red managing the obtaining of supplies through more legal means then he did back in prison. He's been getting some visitors, either in-person or by phone call, that wanted to congratulate him for his escape. Biscuit Oliva felt like doing a good deed and calling from his Luxury Prison Suite. While he's a warden, he couldn't be more different from Samuel Norton and unless you go out your way to piss him off he's a teddy bear; he wants to say that he's free to ask to ship some of his vintage wine or borrow some of his books. Keeping in mind his misfortune and his wife's actual death being from a burglar, Peter Parker once showed up at his business and made some small talk, showing him compassion and noting both of their lives changed forever by a burglary turned murder. Being a Hero with Bad Publicity, he already had a fair bit of empathy for him.
  • Andy gets along very well with fellow deity Paddington, who share similar experiences of being wrongfully imprisoned, working to improve life for those on the inside, and escaping, even though Paddington doesn't take that experience with as much pride (although he fully understands why Andy had to do it). Paddington even helps out at the hotel from time to time, offering his window cleaning service. During his stay at the hotel, Sirius Black ended up bonding with Andy in a quick fashion. Like him he was wrongly accused of murder and put into prison, a truly hellish one called Alcatraz. Andy Dufrense is aghast that any prison, no matter how bad some of the prisoners are, would ever employ the friggin Dementors as wardens. Due to his good-hearted personality he's appalled at how Peter Pettigrew betrayed his friends just to save his own hide, though he considers him too pathetic and miserable to hate that much. Another deity he's gotten along well with and found common ground with is Jesse Pinkman. Both of them were held prisoner and exploited for criminal practices, had their spirits crushed by captors who had their loved ones killed, yet both were able to escape, and now live out their lives by starting over in a new place. Jesse has stayed in the hotel a number of times, and Andy is someone he's comfortable talking to about his history and problems, since he's fully understanding based on his own history.
  • He's not sure how he feels exactly about the Phantom Thieves of Hearts utilizing forced empathy on the truly wicked. He won't like any say he doesn't like to imagine them stealing the heart of Warden Norton, and as a corrupt, sociopathic authority figure he is exactly the kind of person who would have a palace. However he does appreciate their desire for societal reform, and he's friendly with Joker, as he suffered from probation unjustly. Andy is also quite sympathetic to Tom Robinson, as the man was proven innocent but still judged guilty of abuse because of the racist community of Maycomb. Andy Dufrense respects all the effort Atticus Finch took into proving his innocence, and as a whole he likes it when lawyers and jurors demonstrate themselves as honest and able to stand up for the innocent even if it's an uphill battle for them. He also respects Juror #8 for his unwillingness to accept a man's supposed guilt when the evidence isn't conclusive. He's wondered how his life could have turned out if there was a juror like that present at his trial.
  • Personally he blamed himself for his wife's affair, not being able to show how much he loved her. His reserved and stoic personality made it seem he was suspiciously unempathetic. Since he was believed to have committed a crime of passion, he's rather cautious when dealing with inmates who actually did kill their partner for cheating like Narciso Anasi. To give Narciso credit, he doesn't try to hide his criminality with excuses and can be heroic for those he cares about like Jolyne, and he also understands why Andy Dufrense would rather not associate with him. Speaking of Jolyne, she wishes Andy the best of luck; a bad relationship and a terrible lawyer led her to unfairly end up in a Florida prison with a bunch of abusive wardens. After learning about Viviano Westwood, Andy can only imagine the amount of damage that Warden Norton could cause if he had a Stand.
  • Understandably he makes it a point to stay very clear from the Wardening Hall as he's still technically a wanted criminal and he can't risk going back to prison. He knows not everyone there is evil or have it out to capture him, but he's still traumatized from the abuse he suffered at Shawshank. Red stays clear of there as well, since while he was freed he did violate his parole to get here, so he could risk re-arrest by going there. Luckily, they've been able to stay under the hall's radar, no one suspecting they're wanted criminals. Maybe it helps that they're just generally nice people. To his shock, a teddy bear that smelled of strawberries of all deities proved to equal Norton when in charge of the toys in Sunnyside; Lotso. Not a warden persay but he ran it like a brutal prison camp with him as the head kingpin. Granted, as mean as the nihilistic bastard is he's still a teddy bear so he's not afraid of him. Chief Warden Magellan? Just keep him the hell away from him. Fortunately Magellan feels getting involved would be going outside his authority.
  • His banking skills have earned him great respect and admiration from many in the House of Commerce and some in the House of Crime and Transgressions for his fraudulent but savvy accounting he did in prison. This has led to many well-paying work offers, including but not limited to from Scrooge McDuck, Noah Cross, and Al Capone. Andy has turned down all of these (especially the disgusting Noah Cross), not wanting to get back into crime. The only thing he'll be doing accounting for now is his hotel. What he did find amusing was how a number of people tried sending him letters offering work every week, using his own tricks against him. He hasn't given in though, using the letters as fireplace fodder. This went on for so long that most of the writers eventually took a damn hint and stopped sending him letters.
  • Among gods who've spent time in prison, he's viewed as something of a legend of an almost mythical variety. And his experience has given him a sympathy for those who've gone through prison. Andy has mutual sympathy and respect for Noah Cullen and John Jackson, since they relate to each other's struggles. Andy particularly admires the way they wrote letters to get them moved from Criminal punishment hall, reminding him of when he himself wrote letters to the local council to grant funding for a library. Though Andy doesn't have much sympathy for the more violent and sinister criminals, especially those who show little remorse, and gets annoyed when they treat him like one of them. To his great annoyance, he's gained the respect of The Joker, who insists he's just like him, since they're both famous for escaping prison. Luckily for Andy, The Joker respects him so he doesn't do anything to him other then be annoying, act like they're friends, and occasionally try to convince him to assist him in a breakout from Arkham Asylum.
  • One god he has a particular disgust for is Patrick Bateman. They're both bankers, but otherwise they couldn't be less similar. Andy was imprisoned and subsequently abused for the crime of killing his wife which he didn't commit, while Patrick is a sociopathic Serial Killer who was never punished for the death and suffering he caused, asides from a lack of catharsis on his part. The fact that someone is out there unpunished for several crimes of the variety he was wrongly punished for makes his blood boil. The fact that he's an untalented nepo-baby banker is the icing on the cake. He's even considered trying to get him arrested, but he's smart enough to know he shouldn't be willingly involving himself in legal affairs. While he doesn't hate Hannibal Lecter like he does Bateman, he's really not comfortable around him since he reminds Andy too much of the sisters. Met him once as he came to stay a few nights at the hotel. Hannibal was oddly polite and didn't make any moves towards Andy, but the topics of conversation he raised was more then a little concerning. Those few nights were pretty uncomfortable and he came pretty close to kicking him out, but luckily he didn't cause any real trouble. The thought of him still makes Andy uncomfortable, though.
  • Has a good relationship with Lex the Bookworm who provided him with some books to make a little library for his hotel because he was so impressed with his devotion to the prison library. If a deity has any interest in reading, they can probably get along just fine with Andy. On occasion he'll even do some teaching in the House of School, having experience from teaching Gil how to read back in prison. Helping others expand there knowledge to become better people brings Andy immense joy and satisfaction. He was fascinated to learn about Blanche, a Benevolent Abomination that acts and takes the form of an attractive librarian. He'd rather avoid potentially getting involved in anything related to the Backrooms, but he's still intrigued.
