Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

For Nyarly, B.B.'s summer form is connected to Nyarlathotep.
@Tscot: Well... do you have any other suggestions? Or do you want to try and take up reworking an existing deity here?
Hey you, what's up man? Give me money, please! If Tscott wants to help with ASOIAF, mythology, Pokemon or SCP reworks I would be quite happy with that. Up to him of course
Philemon, Nyarlathotep and Yaldabaoth have returned
It's rare for anyone here to pay attention to Castlevania and the closest people I can think of who can help with Super Robot Wars is SuperWIKI1 and AerialQueen, but the former retired and the latter just recently came back but haven't actually gotten around to starting a profile.
If you want to take a jab at reworking the characters, you can look through their respective Pantheon pages.

Hey you, what's up man? Give me money, please!I do have some proposals for the Hype Prevention Sandbox though, namely Dragon Ball DAIMA in regards to the new characters and lorebuilding that were introduced in the anime, and Mobile Suit Gundam G Quuuuuu X also in regards to characters and Lore, but with the instance that it is Alternate Universe for the Universal Century timeline.
My mind is an enigma; nobody knows what I'm thinking of next!I would like to propose Grimm from American McGee's Grimm
to represent Grimmification, the guy is an ugly little dwarf who's tired of "cutesy" fairy tales, so he goes around messing them up and making them gruesome and scary again. And takes on various tales from The Brothers Grimm and other sources, from classics like Cinderella and Puss in Boots to more obscure tales like The Girl Without Hands and A Boy Learns What Fear Is. He does so by corrupting the general environment of the worlds he visits, and making everyone in them as rotten and disgusting as he is. How strong are these powers? Well he is able to corrupt Satan, God and His angels, part of the Greek pantheon because the rest didn't appear in the story of Midas, and even forces of nature like death and the ghosts of Christmas. He could probably also work for Walking Wasteland come to think of it
Turns out he's already here with that EXACT trope!
I mean he does look a bit barren, so if you're willing for a rework, feel free to do so
"The part I feel most proud of is that we succeeded in affecting people without using words."— Yuji NakaRelinking my drafts last page. Suggestions are noted, but they are still open for more.
No, The Road Home is pending for Flying Dutchman while AZ has Wandering Jew.
EDIT: Ah, they were the same trope. My mistake.
Edited by Muundeis on Feb 24th 2025 at 4:09:11 AM
Hey you, what's up man? Give me money, please!Wasn't aware AZ currently had Flying Dutchman. I assume his old trope was merged into the one he has now sometime back?
Be awed. Or be awestruck. This is the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary. Here's my first draft for the Grimm rewrite, I'm looking for feedback, with some particular emphasis on ideas for relationships

- Rank: Lesser God
- Symbol: His smiling face on a coin
- Theme Song: His rendition of The Hearse Song
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil
- Portfolio: Turns even GODS evil, turns any story he visits into a Crapsack World, Evil Brit, Walking Wasteland, Groun-Erm, Butt Stomping, Abusing absolutely ANYONE, The Pig-Pen, Spoof Aesop teller, Sophisticated as Hell, Villain Protagonist
- Domains: Ludacrously darker adaptations, mean spirited morals, storytelling, dark and gross things.
- Heralds: Any of the protagonists of the stories he's corrupted, but if he had to choose a favorite it would be The Master Thief
- High Priest: Many, MANY edgy teenagers clumped together in a single writing room.
- Followers: Kaori Yuki, A large amount of Red Riding Hoods, American McGee himself (both of them are aware of the irony)

Back to myself again
The Scrappy of the Trope Pantheon, God of Thumps
I actually know about Castlevania or two. Im just really busy right now to do that.
Actually, since people discussed on Hype prevention not mattering on reworks. Do we reduce the Fantastic Four to just be them? Not asking to do a full-blown rework but do you think the kids should stay because that opens the rest of the family to show up. Like the Thing's wife and his adopted kids. And not even mention all the replacement members and Future Foundation.
Sorry, I am just really bothered by it. Damned if you do, damned if you dont I feel with it.
Pantheon server for all who click here. Lost too much money and time, this coaster ain’t stopping.
Since they have Badass Family, I think it just be the ones who do the heroing.
The Scrappy of the Trope Pantheon, God of Thumps
Sorry, but that really broad because even the kids do hero stuff. The only one who doesnt in the immediate family is the Thing's blind wife
I would say the Fantastic Four family is Reed Richards and Sue Storm plus their kids, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, Ben Grimm’s wife and their adopted kids. Hell, I’d include Herbie. Thats ten people for a team of four, which is why I thought maybe we can just look at the four

Pantheon server for all who click here. Lost too much money and time, this coaster ain’t stopping.
I honestly don't know who makes up the immediate Richard family. I know when the profile was made, it just included the 6 of them.
Edit: Honestly, I go with the immediate 6 with Franklin and Valerie. Franklin alone has a very long tenure of being part of the family since the 60s. The other extended family could go as heralds.
Edited by WhirlRX on Feb 23rd 2025 at 4:21:13 AM
@M1gami Tensei I’m going to stop you right there. Absolutely nobody said that the Hype Prevention didn’t apply to Reworks. That was on the subject of Franchise Overrep Prevention. I’m also going to have to ask you to remove that little makeshift draft you have of the Fantastic Four in your sandbox.
And on the subject of Hype Prevention. With Marvel Rivals growing popularity, and its promise of periodically adding new characters in the game, may I propose to place a One Month Hype Prevention on each character newly added into the game?

- Symbol: His dark energetic cubes.
- Portfolio: The Ageless, Ancient Evil, Big Bad, Control Freak, Dark is Evil, Determinator, The Evils of Free Will, Greater Scope Villain, Humanoid Abomination, Lack of Empathy, The Man Behind the Man, Order is Not Good, Omnicidal Maniac
- Domains: Immortality, high intelligence, reality warping and nigh omnipotence.
- Allies: Lucemon, The Devourer, Darkseid, Galeem, Singularity, The Heartless, Alduin, King Ghidorah
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Brajira of the Messiah
- Enemies: The Heroes of New Alberia, The Greatwyrms, The Auspexes, The Epic Battle Fantasy Team, The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Marth, Chrom, Palutena, Bahamut, Discord, Son Goku, Future Trunks, The Arisen and The Pawns, Tarnished, Asura, Shulk, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Sora, Riku, Kairi
- Opposed by: All Benevolent Creation Deities
- Rivals: Zanza, Zamasu, Lord English
- A long time ago, even before the birth of the universe, two deities lived in the dark void. The former was called Xenos, and the latter was Bahamut. The two almighty entities, realizing how dark and lonely their existence was, decided to combine their power in order to create a world inhabited by dragons and people. For a long time they lived in harmony with their creations, but in time, people and dragons would hunger for the power of their creators and therefore they rebelled against them. Xenos wanted to resolve the conflict peacefully, but Bahamut, acting in self-defense, erased the first world they created. This event greatly affected Xenos’s mind, as it made him believe that to avoid further casualties and destruction, he must eliminate any form of free will in order to build a world where everyone could live in harmony. But Bahamut, fundamentally disagreed with Xenos’s position since he believed that no matter what it might lead to, all living beings had the right to make their own decisions and determine their own destiny. This created a rift between them, and later enmity that escalated into full-scale war, but Bahamut with the help of the Greatwyrms, eventually managed to seal Xenos. Despite the fact that Xenos lost for the first time, this was not the end for him, because, even being imprisoned he spreads death and destruction through his demons which he created as a mockery of his rival’s ideals of free will. Thanks to his cunning and manipulation skills, Xenos manages to convince a man named Phares to become his vessel by saying that if Phares agrees to be his vessel, he would reward him with longevity, but in reality, Xenos simply uses him as a puppet. Eventually gaining freedom after a successful conspiracy with Beren, Xenos immediately begins to resume his plan to destroy the entire multiverse and create a new one where everything would be under his control. However, his plan was not destined to come true, as he was stopped by a young prince named Euden. The final battle with the Progenitor proved to be the greatest challenge for both Euden and his friends, as Xenos began to warp reality and manipulate fate to his advantage, but by combining their forces, the main characters win the battle and thus put an end to the Progenitor's aspiration to destroy the multiverse.
- Or his story could have ended if not for the fact that Singularity contributed to his resurrection and ascension to Pantheon. For the genocidal AI, the operation to revive Xenos became a great challenge, since not only did most of his attempts to restore the heart of Xenos end in failure, but they also took a lot of energy, time and resources from Singularity. However, despite how difficult this plan was to implement, the idea of having such a powerful ally as Xenos at his side served as a good incentive for Singularity to continue his experiments. In the end, all the efforts of the genocidal AI paid off, as he managed to find a way to restore the heart of Xenos, thereby returning the Progenitor himself to life. After his resurrection, Xenos, noticing a pleased Singularity in front of him, demanded to know who he was and what kind of mysterious place they were in now, at the same time subtly making it clear that if his questions did not receive a proper answer, then he would act more hostile. In response, Singularity decided to fulfill Xenos’s demands, briefly telling him what Pantheon was and how exactly he managed to bring the Progenitor back to life. During the course of the explanation, Singularity also admitted that he very much adored Xenos’s work and that he would like to form a partnership with him in order to destroy all chaotic universes and ensure an absolute order in the multiverse. Having grasped all the important information and details said by the Singularity, Xenos decided to accept the offer of the humanoid AI, partly from the fact that he understood that being in a place full of very powerful beings, the Progenitor might need additional help to realize his ambitions, and on the other hand, he was somewhat grateful to the Singularity for the opportunity to renew his war to eradicate chaos and establish order throughout the world. Now having a full understanding of his situation and having some support, Xenos decided to begin to increase his power in order to establish order not only in his world but throughout the Pantheon as a whole.
- To say that other deities from the Dragalia Lost universe were unhappy about his ascension would be a HUGE understatement. The New Heroes of Alberia, the Auspexes and the Greatwyrms were beside themselves with rage when the news reached them that Xenos somehow found a way to the Pantheon, since none of them had forgotten how much death and suffering his numerous attempts of destruction and recreation of the multiverse caused. But their wrath quickly turned into concern when they learned that Xenos had regained most of his powers. Because of this, all benevolent deities of Dragalia Lost decided to unite in the fight against the Progenitor in order to stop him and prevent any of his attempts to eliminate the free will. However, they understand that they are in a dilemma, since due to the fact that Euden was created from a part of the heart of Xenos, killing the Progenitor will also lead to the death of Euden, which is why they and all their allies working to avoid this outcome and find a way to kill Xenos without letting Euden die. In response, Xenos considers their contempt and resentment to be mutual, since he was not happy with the fact that everyone who was somehow involved in his downfall were also present in the Pantheon. Xenos also decided to act more carefully, since he understood that now, in addition to the fact that Euden and his friends had became stronger than before, they had also become allies for multiple powerful beings, that’s why he decided that confronting them openly would be a stupid idea. For this reason, Xenos decided to operate in the shadows in order to gradually increase his powers without attracting unnecessary attention.
- In his quest to bring order to the entire multiverse, Xenos found allies in Lucemon and the Devourer. It was not difficult for the Progenitor to find a common language with them, since he saw in them kindred spirits who also shared his disdain for chaos and love for control. In turn, Lucemon and the Devourer respect Xenos and find his methods of bringing order worthy of admiration, which is why these two are willing to actively support the Progenitor in his crusade against chaos.
- Having become an ally of the Devourer, Xenos acquired enemies in the Epic Battle Fantasy Team. Matt and his crew were outright irritated by this information, since now they had to deal with not one but two extremely powerful reality warpers. However they did not to face these two alone, as Euden and his friends came to their aid. Having accepted support from Euden, the Epic Battle Fantasy Team and the New Heroes of Alberia set themselves the task of saving reality from Xenos and the Devourer and preventing the threat from these two forever.
- Considering his belief that all mortal beings must blindly follow and worship the Gods was very similar to the mentality of Zanza and Zamasu, one would think that Xenos would be a perfect ally for them. However this was not destined to come true, as there were so many factors that ruined all chances for alliance. At first, Xenos showed interest in his EXPY, since the Progenitor though that Zanza could make a worthy alliance, but having discovered that Zanza was actually a mortal who received divine powers, Xenos immediately refused to work with him, as the Progenitor considered the idea that mortal man was given divinity blasphemous. But in the case with Zamasu, the reason why they did not become an allies was completely different. Xenos really wanted to start partnership with the Fallen Kai, but Zamasu, as usual being a hypocrite, began to reproach Xenos for allowing mortals to spread sin and depravity into the multiverse, then he began to call the Progenitor a fool for giving part of his powers to mortals, and in the end Zamasu was ready to attack Xenos for deliberately creating demons (creatures that Zamasu hated even more than mortals) and allowed them to freely destroy the environment. Although none of his attacks harmed Xenos at all, nevertheless this was the last straw and since then all chances of forming an alliance have been reduced to zero.
- As an evil god who wants to rebuild the world to his own liking, Xenos earned the hatred of Shulk and Asura. Shulk deeply loathes Xenos for being an exact copy of Zanza but with far more destructive goals. Asura fiercely despises Xenos for his indifference towards of all the misery and suffering that he willingly inflicted on the entire multiverse. For this, the God of Destruction wants to beat the Progenitor until life leaves his body. However, realizing that the death of Xenos could lead to death of Euden, Asura reluctantly decided not to kill Xenos for now, but every time they meet, Asura does not miss the opportunity to insult Xenos by calling him a cheap imitation of Chakravartin.
- However, the above-mentioned comparisons between him and Chakravartin give Xenos the idea to find the God of Mantra, and after some searching, Xenos manages to not only find Chakravartin, but also form alliance with him. It is not difficult for these two to find a common language, since both of them have the same ideology, namely that all living beings exist solely to entertain and serve them. In general, due to the similarity of their worldviews and beliefs about what is best for the universe, the alliance between of these two grow into a full-fledged villainous friendship, which becomes stronger and stronger over time. This news results in many being either angry that two despicable deities are now working together or terrified at the prospect of facing the might of two powerful gods.
- Due to his similarity with Zamasu in many aspects, Xenos is also disliked by all good deities of Dragon Ball. In particular, Son Goku and Future Trunks despises him for committing genocide on a multiverse scale, and overall for his aspiration to reset the universe in order to rule it as the sole ruler. Gowasu a bit pities Xenos, as he considers him a lost soul blinded by pride and extremism, but at the same time he understands that Xenos is a threat to everyone and therefore he must be stopped. Chronoa view Xenos as a legitimate threat to the integrity of reality and dimensions. This concern stems from the fact that even in a weakened state, Xenos could threaten the entire multiverse, and if the Progenitor were regain all of his powers, the damage he could cause would be inconceivable.
- Another deity that Xenos considers his closest friend is none other than Darkseid himself. Their alliance is facilitated by the fact that both the Progenitor and the God of Tyranny share the same philosophy, namely that free will is the root of all problems and should be gotten rid of. In particular, Xenos greatly admires the approach and methods that Darkseid uses in suppressing choice and opportunity on Apokolips, and having visited the possessions of the Living Incarnation of Tyranny, Xenos is ready to feel at home. Although Darkseid consideres Xenos’s plan a failure, he nevertheless consideres it worthy of some praise, as he can see the sincerity of the Progenitor in seeking to eradicate free will, which Darkseid actually greatly approves of. But with all their respect for each other, they understand that from the moment all their enemies die, they can become rivals in the struggle for power. However at the moment the two of them plan to maintain allied relations for now.
- Xenos has a very bad reputation among the other creator gods. The reason for this negative attitude is that they believe that Xenos abuses his powers by using them as a means of oppressing mortals. Due to this, gods such as Primus and Arceus openly oppose him, while Eru Ilúvatar is disappointed that, in his opinion, a great potential was wasted.
- It is worth noting that although his plans may border on omnicide, Xenos is not at all interested in working with GUAD. Nekron and Chaos, however, realizing how much Xenos could help their cause, try more than once to recruit him into their organization. To make it even more convincing, they try to rationalize their point of view to Xenos, saying that with the death of all life, order would reign in the multiverse, which Xenos so passionately wants. But Xenos still refuses them, citing the fact that although he wants order to reign in the multiverse, he also wants people to serve and bow before him as a god and savior whose words would be law for everyone. This is the reason why he prefers Darkseid and his alliance over GUAD, as he feels their goals are much more compatible.
- Even among other omnicidal maniacs, Xenos is considered one of the most dangerous destroyers in the Pantheon, as even in a weakened state, the Progenitor was capable of destroying many universes at once. Because of this, many deities fear the outcome of events in which Xenos will regain all his powers. It is noteworthy that among these deities was none other than Lord English. No matter how unpleasant it was for him, he had to recognize Xenos as a legitimate threat to his own existence. This concern on English's part comes from the fact that the Auspexes, having only a small part of the true Xenos power at hand, could already pose a great danger to him, and in the case of the above-mentioned powers returning again to its true owner, the outcome for Lord English could even become lethal. That's why he and Doc Scratch are working on a plan to eliminate Progenitor.
- Due to his hatred of all chaotic things, it is not surprising that he made an enemy in Discord. Xenos despises the Spirit of Chaos with all his existence, considering him and his native dimension an abomination and a deviation that defiles the natural order, which is why the Progenitor took upon himself an obligation to make him and the entire dimension of chaos disappear into oblivion. Due to this, one day Xenos invaded the chaos dimension and attacked Discord with the intention of ending his existence. For Discord, the fight against Xenos was perhaps one of the most toughest battles in which he had ever participated, since the Progenitor, thanks to his abilities to warp reality and manipulate fate, managed to nullify the actions of many, if not all attacks and spells cast by Discord. Despite the fact that the Spirit of Chaos was practically powerless against Xenos, Discord, nevertheless, unwilling to give up, continued to fight. The battle between the two strongest reality warpers was long, stubborn and intense, but over time, Discord, due to the fact that he spent a huge amount of energy in the fight against Xenos, began to feel exhaustion, while Xenos did not feel an ounce of fatigue. Because of this, Discord seemed to begin to lose to the Progenitor. However, timely intervention from Q and the Collector saved Discord from the fate of being erased. These two, feeling a huge surge of energy emanating from the dimension of chaos, decided to move there to look at the cause of the strange phenomenon, and once in Discord’s native dimension, they immediately noticed in front of them the exhausted Spirit of Chaos, as well as the smug Progenitor who was preparing to strike the decisive blow. Q and the Collector wasted no time rushing to the rescue of their friend. Xenos clearly did not expect this and, realizing that now the chances of victory were not on his side, he decided to retreat, but at the same time let them all know that this was not the end. After the battle, Q and the Collector decided to stay to help Discord restore his home. While Xenos may not have won in this battle, nevertheless this fight secured his status as one of the most powerful reality warpers in the Pantheon.
- Among the deities who had their own idea of perfect world, no one attracted as much attention from the Progenitor as Brajira of the Messiah. In addition to admiring Barjira’s plans and ambitions to rebuild the world into paradise, Xenos noted to himself that there were a lot of a similarities between him and former Gosei Angel, since both of them were imprisoned for their lust for power and an attempt to recreate the world as they saw fit, both of them are chess masters who from shadows secretly manipulated all major events in their respective universes, and both of them, out of spite and on the brink of death, tried to take the world with them, but ultimately their last attempt also failed. But despite all the respect that the Xenos had for Brajira, the Progenitor understood that the former Gosei Angel is a person who should not be trusted, since Xenos knows that at any convenient moment Brajira will try to stab him in the back and may even try to take his power for himself. That is why their partnership is impermanent and purely temporary.

- Before becoming a tyrant whose name was feared throughout the microverse, Baron Karza started as the head scientist of the royal family in Howeworld. But despite all the benefits and privileges that the nobility granted him, as well as the respect that many had for him, Baron Karza never felt true loyalty to the rulers of Homeworld. In fact, he secretly planned to usurp all power by starting a coup. His first attempt at usurpation was foiled as his plot was discovered, which in turn forced the Baron himself to flee from the royal guards. Being on the verge of death after his expulsion, Baron Karza was saved and healed by the Sun Cult. After living in the their monastery for some time, Baron found out their secrets that could grant human strength and immortality, and in gratitude for saving his life, Baron Karza slaughtered everyone in the monastery and appropriated all their knowledge to himself. With newfound power, as well as the support of crowds of people who also wanted to live forever, Baron Karza finally overthrew the royal family and took all power in Homeworld. Having gathered such power in his hands, Baron Karza started to expand his influence throughout the microverse by conquering and destroying entire civilizations. And for everyone who had the courage to stand against the Baron, an extremely unenviable fate awaited them, since in the best case they could end up as a slaves or forced to participate in gladiator games, and in the worst case, people literally became a raw material for a body banks, an place in which healthy organs and limbs of people are replaced by the already obsolete organs of Baron and those people who were willing to pay well. Women and babies were treated no better either, as many women were kidnapped by Baron to be hooked up to robots that would forcibly impregnate them over and over again in order to use the newborns as the Baron’s dog soldiers. So Baron Karza ruled Homeworld for thousands of years, turning it from beautiful to a hellish dystopia, and for a long time Baron ruled without any problems until one day a group of freedom fighters called the Micronauts stood in his way, led by Arcturus Rann, the son of former rulers of Homeworld. After a long confrontation, the Micronauts managed to kill Baron and put an end to his reign of terror, but even though he was overthrown and killed, Baron Karza still achieved his goal, because even after death, his influence is still alive, since many either still shudder in fear at his name or praise him as a role model and are trying to revive his legacy.

well yeah, it doesn't say anything because it ISN'T a rule in the first place, hype prevention is for NEW profiles that could be made and the only time it mentions reworks is when they talk about more story heavy works needing some time to wait, as to avoid profiles that will need to be reworked for twists and such.M1gami's rework seems fine to me as it focuses on the FF as a whole and is not solely movie focused, so
@M1gami: a
for the rework.
as for that marve3l rivals thing, I think we should consider narrative stuff rather then it just being popular. one, those characters weren't created for that game, even people like Galactica and Jeff have been around for years, and they never really rework or make new stories for the characters, just their usual comic book stories. there's also the fact that a lot of nthe characters rivals is adding are already in the pantheon, and I don't really see the problem with reworking those characters unless it is SOLELY leaning on a marvel rivals interpretation.
