Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I can confirm that me and Monsund did talk in PMs about the state of Humbert Humbert's profile. I'll allow him to handle the rework, assuming he wants to. We also got to talking about some other profiles that might need some reworks. In case anybody cares, here's the major issues we talked about that neither of us have clear personal plans for:

  • Marth needs a rework. He has some pretty short paragraphs, and allegedly somebody inserted out-of-character interactions inside of it, which makes it inaccurate by default.
  • Yrel should be reworked or replaced. Aside from the very obviously poor profile, there is no mention of the Face–Heel Turn she performed years ago in the story.
  • We don't believe Felicia and Jon Talbain are good representatives of Female Feline, Male Mutt. They don't really have any significant connections in-story for them to really make sense in a group profile, and the trope itself feels like a superficial connection between the two at best. We thought about the possibilities of either finding individual tropes for them and splitting them up (with their own, up-to-standard profiles, of course) or replace them outright with a candidate that is more representative of the trope overall. I would personally prefer the former, but I can accept arguments for anything, really.
  • King K. Rool's profile claims that his goal is "to eradicate all primates from existence", and nothing else. While this isn't technically wrong, K. Rool has much more motivations that vary between game and series, such as stealing bananas, world domination, wealth, wanting to be a hero, or wanting to destroy DK Isle. We suggested the possibility of somebody reworking him to be closer to a Composite Character taking all of these motivations and character traits into account.

[down] Any ascension text for how they got into the Pantheon?

Go ahead with that

I feel I have done a good amount with this. Am I lowballing their ranking? What other magical interactions should I make?

  • Feared by: Any child deity that doesn't hate them enough, Shou Tucker
  • Wary of: Mandy, Rhoda Penmark, Stewie Griffin, Hansel and Gretel (also enemies by default)
  • Roald Dahl is a writer who, among other tropes, wrote the fully-fledged villains in his children's book to be nasty child haters who's cruelty towards kids was meant to indicate them as evil with a capital-E. Childhood experience in an abusive school led him to write on how Child Abuse Is a Special Kind of Evil, and none of his villains are as fiendish about it that The Witches. A clan of Always Chaotic Evil witch species spend virtually every waking moment fantasizing about "squelching" kids, and they tend to do so by pulling hexes on them that turn them into pests or other items in hopes family members and aquaitances will kill them without knowing any better. They make sure to curse a kid at least once a week, and asides from mice they've turned kids into chickens, porpoises, pheasants, statues, paintings, or even hot dogs. Though their true appearance is hideous with claws, bald heads and elongated noses among other traits, they use elaborate disguises to pass as human. Their leader the Grand High Witch didn't think they were doing enough and her plan was to kill all the children in England by turning them into mice. Unfortunately for the Witches they didn't count for a Norweigan-descended boy and his crafty Grandmama, a certified "witchophile" turned their own plan against them. Their own mice potion was used to turn them into rodents, and got offed like the pests they see kids as.
  • The Witches have the notoriety of being the cruellest any Dahl villain has been to kids; none ever attempted a child-focused genocide. As much as Agatha Trunchbull hates kids and loves to abusively flaunt her power, she thinks what they're doing is "a bit insane" though that's more down to Pragmatic Villainy than anything. She'll begrudgingly work for them because they have a shared enemy, that being Matilada Wormwood...and James Trotter, and well every child ever, or any non-evil character from their author even if aren't a kid. Matila is definintely the enemy they take the most seriously. While the Enormous Crocodile lacks the deep sadism of the Witches he finds kids to be rather tasty, and they can make each other happy by using their magic to push kids into his mouth. The Witches are even bold enough to seek out to capture and destroy their own author, considering the reason so many of his unsympathetic villains are child abusers is because he hates child abusers.
  • The Heroic Protectors of Family have labeled them as one of the most detestable threats, and while the Child Abuse Supporters think they're useful they think they're a bit narrow in their goals and could do with some more ambition. The Grand High Witch has mused that she's fond of some particularly abusive parents as they can do their dirty work for them, but she thinks her way works best. They want children dead period, though the they find the fact someone could be so antithetical to the role of a parent amusing. Though they have been recorded congregating mainly in England, a more recent movie has them causing problems in 60s Alabama. Despite the race swap of the protagonists into African-Americans they still don't have a specific ethnicity of child they prefer as a victim; the Grand High Witch is tired of "merely" focusing on poor and underclass children and she believes they should kill all children equallynote . Atticus Finch is from about 30 years beforehand and in the same state...he's really uncomfortable with that fact. Oddly Bob Ewell isn't fond of them, though not out of any concern or moral standards; he sees his kids as unpaid labor and he doesn't want that taken from him. The Witches aren't fond of his smell or how dirty he is, but "at least he's not a child" as far as they're concerned.
  • Witches' feet are squared-off without toes; they squeeze their feet into pumps and high heels to conceal this, even though it causes them great discomfort. They've started investing in the House of Costumes to make comfier shoes that will hide this inhuman trait. The Witches don't associate with any animals, though they recognize the usefulness of cats as means of disposing of pests like rats and mice, which in the context of what they're doing amounts to mass child murder. The Grand High Witch has been trying to reach out to Katz for help, as she likes what he's managed to accomplish with his conning and "H.H Holmes worthy" villainy. While he Would Hurt a Child Katz isn't focused on killing kids so they need to make it worth his while. Before reaching out to Katz the Witches tried to use DuBois "to capture pests", but after realizing that those "pests" were transformed children she called the authorities on them.
  • The Witches using elaborate disguises would end up catching the attention of Judge Doom, a Toon that wants to wipe his kind out who uses an elaborate human disguise. He doesn't have anything against human children, but he's no less genocidal than the Grand High Witch. After imagining how upset kids would be if their favorite cartoons were exterminated by the Dip, she laughed at "the hilarious finale" that Doom's endgame would entail. Though children just being dead period is what they'd prefer, it tickles their morbid sense of humor to have the kids run for their lives when reduced to animal pests. So if Dag wants to have a free lunch while they get rid of children, they'll also ask Dag if he's game. And as someone as morally bankrupt as the witches, he figures it's going to be an interesting meal
  • The Grand High Witch is distressingly similar to the Sorceress in that they're evil magic users who's goal amounts to murdering a whole bunch of children, though she has more of a reason to tear off baby dragon wings; she wants to make a potion to give herself immortality. Killing them afterwards is just to stop them wriggling. The relationship the two have is the closest to the concept of friendship possible with such maniacs. While the Witches are content with just the murdering children part since they're a bunch of sadistic assholes, the Sorceress has inspired within them a desire to find a way to become immortal at the expense of everyone else. Every since they learned about the existence of horcruxes, they've been trying to discover the secret. Assuming they even have a soul their weekly activities would tear them a plenty, but the ritual to bind one's soul to an object is something Voldemort is never going to let another living soul discover. Harry Potter and his friends were appalled by them. The Witches would like nothing more than to exterminate the population of Hogwarts and plunder its resources. This newfound interest in immortality led them to meet up and converse with the alchemist Dante. She's very old and very evil but lacks the categorical hatred of other groups that the Witches have. She's totally self-absorbed, but in a way that doesn't result in her butting heads with the Grand High Witch and instead learn new magic from her.
  • Their modus operandi is and remains the same; transform them into something that can more easily be disposed of like pests such as toads or objects like a marble. While they get a kick out of it they just want them dead and gone at the end of the day, and it doesn't matter what the child's morality is. Some Witches suppose the evil and more sinister kids of the pantheon have somewhat ironic behavior, but their only concern over the Stewie Griffins and Eric Cartmans of the world is that "they're feisty and more prone to being trouble for them". Perhaps the most troublesome kids for the Witches to deal with are the ones William Afton killed that ended up inhabiting animatronics. They can't figure out how to curse their new robotic bodies, and Golden Freddy? Forget about it, they're out of their league. Some Witches thought maybe they should give up only to be fried via lasers by the Grand High Witch for showing such cowardice, stating their solution was simply to seek out the Freddy and pals' murderer. William Afton is infamous for being a Serial Killer of children and a Child Hater despite being a co-founder of Fazbear's Pizzeria, after all. Him and Freddy Krueger wanted to get into to kill children alongside the Witches, and the two bring both technological wizardry and ghostly powers to the table.
  • With how they turn kids into animals Pinocchio got horrible flashbacks over the time he spent in Pleasure Island, and his narrow escape from the Coachmen. It was made all the worse when the Coachman commented on the Witches with the line "what do you think about donkeys?" He might not be human like them, but regardless of what he is he's a conniving Child Hater who transforms "naughty" kids into donkeys to be used as slave labor. Unlike the Witches his motive is more greed than "a love of the game" but he's no less remorseless. The Grand High Witch wants kids dead, but she supposes "having them waste away in the salt mines" is a perfectly acceptable alternative. The two had their lackeys pull off a caper taking Yzma's brew of animal-changing potions, discussing ways to "deal with our little problem". Yzma was incensed by this in part because her stuff was stolen and she thinks she can do better in the transformation magic, and part because the sheer cruelty they show to children is a bit too much for even her tastes. The cat Claudandus was at the table showing interest in the Witches, because of his hated of humans due to experimentations. While the Witches don't hate human beings, their genocidal goals towards human children would inevitably wipe humanity out if left to play out and he could use that...especially if he could motivate them into wiping the adults out to prevent more children from existing.
  • Their burning hatred for the South Park boys is because Kyle reluctantly teamed up with Cartman to put laxatives in their food while they were at a Witch convention. Cartman stole one of their potions to turn a kid into a shrew and he plans to try and trick Kyle into drinking it, but he's not fooled. Their fondness of turning kids to animals gave the Elric brothers a horrible flashback to what Shou Tucker did to his daugther and pet dog, and their outrage at the Witches' ascension gave them the idea of understanding the "Sewing-Life Alchemist" in hopes of "a beginner's guide to alchemy". Note the "beginner's"; they wouldn't give a shit about him otherwise and think he's pathetic, though they are surprised a parent could do what he did as that depravity is normally something only they take part of. Unfortunately any attempt to use alchemy to fix the damage the Witches has done has failed because it uses an entirely different magic system. On the plus side, this has also led the Witches' attempts to appropriate alchemy being a failure. Shou Tucker ran like a bat out of hell during their confusion at it and has stayed far away from them ever since. With magic so intrinsic to their being and ways, the Grand High Witch made sure to warn her fellows to avoid getting involved with anything Lord Tirek is doing.
  • The goal of turning kids into mice so they could be offed relies partly off the idea that they're pests and they could exploit an Unintended Kinslayer scenario. Gregor Samsa was horrified at their plan on a personal level because after he turned into a big bug, and ended up abandoned and neglected by his family. To the Witches, The Metamorphosis was a comedy book. What the Witches didn't prepare for is that one of their transformed victims would use this new form as subterfuge; the protagonist of The Witches became fully capable of sneaking around the hotel without ever being seen; plus, against the Witches' expectations, he can still think and reason on a human level. Rodents, the Witches can deal with. Intelligent rodents? A lot more of a problem. The Grand High Witch has proposed a culling of the Hall of Rabbits and Rodents so their trickier members are taken off the board. However she wants Splinter to be taken alive; they should magically experiment on him to prevent what happened with that boy from happening again. Another deity they seek to experiment on? Beast Boy, due to his superpower of transforming into different animals freely....it hasn't been at all successful, though. In fact all it's done is draw attention from the superhero community, namely heroes like Batman and Deadpoolnote  who take very poorly to child abusers.
  • Banning the Witches from the House of Childhood and Adolescence was one of the most unanimous decisions the Court of the Gods ever made, and one of the most unsurprising things the Grand High Witch has ever heard. While the Witches are capable of acting empathetic to those who don't know better and to mask their actions, their reputation in the Trope Pantheon speaks for itself so they have little reason to not be nakedly malevolent. If a Witch attempts to trick the system and sneak into the House, check conspicuous gloves, hints of wig rash, and a faint bluish tint to their teeth. Surprisingly enough the Grand High Witch advised her kin not to bother sneaking into the house they're banned with, because the house has the child deity SCP-239 and they should never mess with her, or the Collector for that incident. They are terrified of children with Reality Warper abilities and wish not to directly antagonize them as a matter of survival. She may think "tough" to how the adults would react to her attempted genocide, but she is not without Pragmatic Villainy and knows they are hated enough by them. This doesn't mean she's not trying to find a way to take them off the board, but she doesn't see those plans coming to fruition in the foreseeable future.
  • The Witches are offended by Luz Noceda and Amity Blight's very existence due to the fact they are both witches and minors. With hating children at the core of their being, the idea of child witches is an inexplicable anathema to them, especially a child who was not born a Witch desiring to become one. While the two utterly despise their nemesis Philip Wittebane aka Emperor Belos, and his ideology of the genocide of Witches, they won't exactly be sad to see these Witches get killed. Amity in particular loathes them as the Grand High Witch's own plan for genocide reminds her of her mother genocide permitting mother Odalia. As if it hasn't been made clear by now, Dahl's Witches are absolutely everything Belos sees all witches as, and they couldn't be more vile even if they made Black Mass around a Baphomet statue. The Grand High Witch thinks it's kind of hilarious that Philip Wittebane is just as bad as them, calling herself better than him becuase she knows what she is. She's unapologetic in being the embodiment of every negative stereotype of witches, boasting "we make the Wicked Witch of the West look like a kitty cat". That being said, the two do get along given shared interests, it's just a matter of fact she's worse, which even Dorothy has backed up. They're one of the most disliked visitors to the House of Magic and Sorcery, which they think is unfair considering Baba Yaga is there. And yet, they have some level of reverence for "one of the ancient ones", acknowledging the importance in the archetypes of witchery she holds. Unlike them Baba Yaga doesn't hate kids, she just sees eating them as no different than eating lamb.
  • Sector V have labeled the Witches as a threat on-par with Father, the Arch-Enemy to the Kids Next Door itself and the god of Child Hating. As much as his critics rattle on about his Villain Decay and how his father, "Grandfather" overshadows him he is most assuredly not a push-over and fried a foolish Witch who believed he was a Paper Tiger and mocked his failures to his face. The Grand High Witch is no fool and never underestimated Father for a moment. Despite mutual contempt for the youth the Grand High Witch refuses to follow or even work alongside him, but instead take his role as leader of the KND Rogues Gallery. The refusal only went public after Sector V swapped the drinks the Witch was having with Father falslely apologzing for "one apple too bad for my taste" and becoming a mouse, which she tried to use on him as a coup. The reason they interfered in this? They feel safer with the old enemy in charge of their rogues because he's not as bleak and genocidal towards kids as the Grand High Witch. Timmy Turner would rather deal with Mr Crocker than fight the Witches, as he's not murderous in his hatred of children and he's more concerned with going after him for his FAIRY! GOD! PARENTS! Timmy was able to convince Mr Crocker to help him with the Witches by pointing out they're secret magic users; exposing them to the public could validate his ego while getting rid of a dangerous enemy. When talking about the Witches, Denzel Crocker could be heard saying "and I thought I was cruel to kids"
  • As morbid as their actions are and as immense as their hatred of kids is, the evils of pedophilia are beyond them. This is most emphatically not an example Even Evil Has Standards, but rather they are still villains of a kid's book so that kind of mature subject matter is something they've not considered. The Trope Pantheon isn't limited by this and while they aren't interested in anything sexual, deviant or otherwise, the Grand High Witch thinks it to be "a useful evil" in inflicting suffering on children. This is why they have the Yellow Bastard on his payroll, even if he's pungent. That smell is a real sticking point and them being put off by the smell of children is the closest thing they have to a motivation in hating them, and if he didn't kill his victims after defiling them they wouldn't have accepted him as an ally. Champ is another ally with similar predilections, however one that can prove rather argumentative with them. This is because the way he rationalizes his crimes is believing Children Are Innocent and what he does is to keep them from growing up to become "dirty adults". The results aren't that much different from the junior Roark and the Witches think he's absurd for thinking he's justified, but said results still aid in their child-hating endeavors. Knowledge of their depravities also gave them knowledge of the fucked up backstory of Hansel and Gretel, who they already saw as ferocious children.
  • Shockingly enough, they really don't like SCP-993. At first it seems inexplicable since Bobble the Clown is at least as evil as them, but at a cursory glance it makes sense they would be opposed. Bobble wants children to be around as an audience he can twist into little monsters and he can't do that if the Witches kill them. By corrupting children, he makes them more unpredictable and difficult to deal with for the Witches. Bobble's ally, Pennywise, hadn't thought of that as a complication as he believed they would all get along. IT would rather the children be human instead of transformed into something smaller, since as much as he loves flavoring the meat he wants to have a good portion of it. He can feed on adult humans, but finds kids an easier meal and the type of human he hates. The Witches look on IT with a level of reverence, but also some fear for what lurks behind the clown facade.

Hello, I'm Solaris 2022. Here's a proposal I thought up:

Ruby-Eye Shabranigdo, The Dark Lord Divided in Seven

Ruby-Eye Shabranigdo is a major antagonist from the Slayers series of Light Novels, the Dark Lord of the series setting. The reason I think he fits this trope is becuase after being betean by Flare Dragon Ceifeed, he was split into seven parts. He could also work on a Sealed Inside a Person-Shaped Can, in which he could be Ruby-Eye Shabranigdo, The Dark Lord Imprisoned in Human Souls.

[up][up][up] How would the witches feel about Grandfather who hates all children. Since they are rivals of Grandfather's son Father.

He went to the point of turning every single person who is or was ever a child into an army of old zombies and he transformed the whole world with his power and ruled the world twice.

Deity Suggestions will no longer get my focus. I have enough theoretically, these are still wanted.
  1. People banned from this domain.
  2. Good Criminals who would visit this domain.
  3. Deities that like how wet and humid this city is.
  4. Those that want to influence Kanai Ward for Good and for Evil.
  5. Yomi Hellsmile sympathizers that want him in control. Be it because they believe he was in the right or those that want to use him to kill everyone in Kanai Ward.
  6. Language checks and formatting help.

What I want now is help organizing what I have.

I want to go to bed so I won't be updating more tonight.

I can get behind Solaris' suggestion getting Sealed Evil in a Six Pack, though I'd prefer them make the explanation themselves before I make an upvote.

  • Maliketh was the wolven half-brother of Queen Marika the Eternal who served as her Shadow, a kind of being which is created by the Two Fingers to serve as the stewards and servants of Gods, and anyone worthy of becoming one, as well as keep them on the path that said Two Fingers had planned for them. When Marika removed the Rune of Death from the Elden Ring, she entrusted Maliketh with keeping it safe. It was a duty he would not forget, as he would imbue his own sword with that power, becoming known as the Black Blade who wielded the power to slay Gods, causing him to be feared by the other Demigods for very good reasons. His most notable feat was slaying the Gloam-Eyed Queen, the leader of the Godskin cult who were very well capable of killing gods themselves. However, a certain demigod child by the name of Ranni the Witch would somehow manage to steal a tiny fragment of the Rune of Death from Maliketh, which she would use in her Night of the Black Knives plot to slay both her and another demigod, Godwyn, to move forward in her plan to break free from the influence of the Two Fingers.
    • Maliketh would not take this incident well, and so, seeing himself as a failure to Queen Marika, he ended up physically binding the rune within his body so nobody could ever steal the Rune ever again, and would take on the identity of Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman, and form a group dedicated to hunting down Those Who Live In Death, a kind of undead which spawned after Godwyn's assassination and becoming the "Prince of Death" (a.k.a an inanimate mass that produces the sickening Deathblight, so he could consume the Deathroot that grows inside them and hopefully reclaim that part of the Rune of Death that he lost, as well as hunt them down to redeem himself for his percieved failure. Eventually, a Tarnished of no renown would encounter him, either within a tiny sanctum to the north of the Dragonbarrow to help him in consuming this Deathroot or in the floating, crumbling city of Farum Azula, coming to slay him to obtain the Rune of Death to advance to the final part of their journey. No matter where they first meet, Maliketh would eventually be slain in Farum Azula, leaving behind the Rune of Death which set the city of Leyndell alight, so that the Tarnished could finish their goal of becoming Elden Lord.
  • Yet, this would turn out not to be the end of Maliketh, as a certain Dracule Mihawk had taken notice of Maliketh. You see, he recently had decided to change his trope from Black Swords Are Better to No Challenge Equals No Satisfaction, finding the latter more fitting for himself, and thus his former temple was left abandoned. While doing casual research on warriors from other realms who he may potentially challenge, he would eventually learn about Maliketh, and his signature and eponymous Black Blade, which he uses to channel the power of the Rune of Death and thus become so dreaded in his home world. He saw potential in him, as well as possibly a little bit of himself given his own history as a mercenary to others who knows what's it like to be viewed as a pawn, which caused him to pity him a bit as Marika didn't quite reciprocate the love and loyality that Maliketh had for her. Thus, he would arrange the Court of the Gods to revive Maliketh's spirit and send him to the Pantheon to become the god of his old trope. It didn't...quite go as well as Dracule would have hoped due to him having a brief nick of emotion over all of his memories being returned to him, but eventually the Court successfully managed to subdue him and tell him about the Pantheon and how it worked.
  • As you may be able to already tell, unlike many other deities in the Pantheon, Maliketh is one of those who isn't happy about being brought into the Pantheon. If anything, it seemed to have made him feel worse about his entire situation, after he came in knowing that he failed his goal to protect Destined Death from use twice over thanks to the Tarnished. In his eyes, he deserved to be dead for good after all that. He was not comfortable upon learning that Fortissax, Godwyn's dragon who got infected with the Deathroot, one of the things he had dedicated himself to hunt down managed to beat him to the Pantheon, and was concerned that his presence was meaning other people could or were already being infected by the substance. Thankfully, no significant outbreak of it has occurred in the Pantheon as of yet, but it doesn't put Maliketh at any more ease. And thus, he spends most of his time in the Pantheon in his Gurranq alter-ego, using his Heralds and other hired help in the Pantheon to keep tabs om and destroy the undead population in the Pantheon, as well as Fortissax's condition with preparations to fight him made should he ever go fully berserk. He does have the full access to the power of the Rune of Death in the Pantheon, however, and can reassume the Black Blade mantra at will in cases where he needs to go against some of the more powerful entities in the Pantheon...and he may very well have to.
  • It goes without saying that he wasn't quite happy about learning that the Tarnished was in the Pantheon with him, being the person who caused his second failure of his duty, though he doesn't necessarily hate them. They did genuinely assist him in getting the Deathroot he so desperately wanted in the mortal planes afterward, and really, their final encounter wasn't so much them being enemies, but Maliketh being a direct obstacle in the Tarnished's path to becoming Elden Lord by guarding Destined Death, and thus they more or less had to fight each other there. That, of course, doesn't mean that Maliketh appreciates the Tarnished's willingness to take Destined Death for themselves to usher in a new Era that Maliketh had fought so hard to stay for the sake of his sister. For now, it seems like the two are in an awkward neutral relationship. Interestingly enough, the Tarnished, are able to revive from being struck and killed by his Destined Death, despite the power being very explicity capable of putting down anything for good regardless of immortality abilities. The exact reason for why that happens still isn't exactly clear.
  • As established already, he has a fervent hatred of Those Who Live In Death, and by extension similar zombies and undead, as he sees them as a lingering reminder of his guilt complex in essentially causing their existence by having that piece of the rune of Death stolen from him. Hearing about the existence of an entire House filled to the brim with those certainly did not help his mental state in that regard. While he quickly understood that the House was far from universally evil, and their existence in the Pantheon was not because of his actions in the mortal realms, he still was not happy about the idea of Undeath following him even here. He has occasionally gone on sporadic bursts either directly attacking residents himself or sending his Black Blade Kindred Heralds to do it, and Alucard and the DoTa Io frequently have to step in to stop the attacks. Maliketh seems to reserve special hatred to the undead who are particularly world-threatening and try to convert all living beings to undead, or just kill everything in general, not the least of which being Nekron, Nagash, and especially the Lich. On their part they see Maliketh's power over Destined Death concerning for their plans given its roots in holy power, which they and their armies are weak to, and are currently making contingincies in case he ever decides to more actively go out against them.
    • It should be noted that despite this said hatred of undead, he does NOT hate all versions of undead no matter what. The entire reason he was guarding the Rune of Death was to fulfill his half-sister's vision of a world where nobody would be capable of dying, after all, but Those Who Live In Death and other forms of undeath was seen as impure compared to the Resurrective Immortality method. So he is not an utter no living after death at all no matter the circumstances dogmatist unlike Zamasu and Meridia. The former hates Maliketh (though to be fair, that applies to the 99% of the Pantheon), as the concept of someone who is only a demigod being allowed to use and guard a force of nature as powerful as Death disgusted (and partially terrifies) him, especially after learning that he failed in following through on that. Meridia, on the other hand, actually seems to like him quite a bit, as while as discussed they don't share all of the same views he finds his commitment in keeping Death contained by any means necessary, and said power being very effective in putting undead to rest she is interested in potentially swaying him into joining her side. For now, however, he has rejected both of their advances.
  • Once he received the Rune of Death from Queen Marika after it was taken from the Elden Ring, he essentially became one of the few people capable of giving people true Death, and thus technically a de facto God of Death, in a sense. The many personification of Death in the Pantheon were quick to gain an interest in the Black Blade because of this, perhaps none were more interested than the Wolf, given his own lupine nature. While in general he is not a fan of the Lands Between given how Marika removed Death from the world and loaded the responsibility of it onto one person (albeit an incredibly strong person) so her kingdom could allegedly be perfect, only for it to eventually backfire in everyone's faces, he still can't help but have some form of respect for Maliketh. He was the one who was able to handle the power, after all, and the threat of him being able to permanently end anyone still gave the demigods some reason to value their lives on the mortal planes. The Maiden in Black, meanwhile, can sympathize with Maliketh, given how she has also experienced the crushing duty of staying in the Nexus for millennia as the caretaker of lost souls. Both of them, along with most of the other Death deities in the Pantheon, are on good terms with the Black Blade, and while he appreciates the sentiment and respect from them, it doesn't quite make him feel better about his Guilt Complex situation.
  • Owing to Ranni stealing a piece of the Rune of Death from him for her own purposes, it was only natural that he would despise anybody who would use and exploit Death for their own purposes, as well as other natural aspects of life, for that matter. Light Yagami fits that description to a T, being somebody who happened upon a Death Note made by a literal Shinigami, becoming obsessed by its ability to kill anyone who's name is written inside of it and would eventually develop a delusional savior and god complex because of it. He was partly enabled by Ryuk, said Shinigami who "accidentally" dropped said Death Note into the mortal realms for anyone to use so he could enjoy the chaos that would inevitably unfold. 'Big' Jack Horner, while he's currently not after the power of Death, is still very much in the same ballpark, someone who would steal and gather many mythical artifacts and magical processes just for his ultimate goal of having all the magic of the world be for himself. He sees Light and Horner as nothing more than pathetic thieves who don't see the true magnitude of the power they have and the danger of their foolishness, while he's quite scrutinizing of Ryuk for easily enabling said mortals just for his own kicks.
    • Hassan-I-Sabbah's Order of Assassins, while far more friendly and sympathetic than Light or Jack Horner, are still people who became so utterly entwined with the concept of assassination that they would end up gaining the power to permanently kill even other Death Gods, an idea Maliketh finds deeply concerning as they are very well able to perpetrate another Night of Black Knives with even less effort than Ranni with that kind of power. Thankfully for him, the Order themselves aren't really the kinds of people to do that kind of thing, as they mostly do hired assassination jobs to those they feel deserve it, and in fact they seem to have some sort of respect for the Black Blade given his own Mastery over Death and ability to use it well in destroying his enemies, though their respect doesn't really help Maliketh's own worries about them. The Mage of the Beginning, while she isn't quite a kleptomaniac, isn't much better than in that regard, being a notorious body snatcher who is able to possess anyone who kills one of her bodies. Her motivations to hijack the cycle of her world is quite similar to Ranni's desire to break out of the cycle of the Two Fingers, which led to the Night in the first place. The Mage of the Beginning herself is quite wary of Maliketh, as Destined Death could potentially override her possessive immortality and ruin her plans.
  • Through the above-mentioned Fortissax's case, he would also learn about a problem that affected a world very similar to his in many ways: The Abyss. While it's not wholly evil, it has a chaotic and corrupting nature that led to entire cities being transformed into monsters due to its influence. A fair share of those who are possessed by this power are in the Pantheon, such as those who got corrupted in fighting it off such as Artorias and Darkeater Midir, and others who were created or have their powers primarily sourced from the Abyss, including Manus and the Children of Dark. The potential damage of the Abyss could prove potentially greater than even the Deathroot, and so while it's not his primary concern he will still be on guard against them and fight off Manus and the actively malevolent Children of Dark should he encounter them. This did lead to some comparisons between him and Artorias in particular, being that the latter has wolf motifs and is a fiercely loyal servant of Gwyn, so much so that he would trek to Oolacile himself to protect his people from it only to get corrupted, though Maliketh is certainly far less off the deep end than Artorias. Gwyn himself has noticed these similarities, and is considering the possibility of enlisting his services considering his own opposition to the Abyss and Deathroot and he was the Shadow of someone very similar to himself, though for now he'll leave Maliketh to his own devices.
  • As the Shadow of Queen Marika, he proved to be fiercely loyal to her, mainly out of his simple desire to protect his technical older sister, which was also the motivation for him to accept the role in guarding the Rune of Death in the first place, even if Marika herself didn't see him as anything more than another pawn in her game. Upon his ascension he was wondering if Queen Marika was anywhere to be found within this new dimension, but unfortunately for him it didn't seem like it, further heaping upon the depression he was experiencing here. Moccamori would eventually hear about Maliketh and his story through some of her Heralds, and immediately realized some similarities between herself and Marika, namely that she was also a deity (or more accurately, half deity) who essentially conquered her entire lands and had a plan so that her people would never die, though eventually she would realize the errors of her actions and accepted the value of life's hardships. She has occasionally personally visited Maliketh himself, using the knowledge of her experiences to help him work towards moving on in the Pantheon. While she hasn't made significant progress, it does seem like Maliketh sees Moccamori as someone he can be able to trust as an ally. Perhaps it's her aforementioned similarities to Marika.
    • Spike the Dragon and Fu Dog have also been on speaking terms with Maliketh lately, due to seeing in themselves some similarities to him. The former is also the faithful assistant to Twilight Sparkle, partly out of feeling indentured to her for finding his egg when his parents seemingly lost or abandoned him. Thankfully for Spike, however, Twilight was a good mentor figure to him and an unambiguously good person at heart, which can't really be said about Marika or her subjects. Fu Dog, despite his own vices is still a good friend at heart, especially towards his current master Jake Long. Considering he has also has good relationships with his world's literal Death, he felt he may be able to help him out a bit considering his status as essentially replacing Death in his world. Both of the two see him as a troubled soul, and while as mentioned above Queen Marika was a complicated figure in terms of morality, they still have much respect for him for his undeniable loyalty to her, using his strength to help her succeed. They, along with Moccamori, hope that they can get him to a more reasonable state of mind, though as stated before it will be tough work.
  • Many deities in the Pantheon can relate to Maliketh's Guilt Complex after the Night of the Black Knives, because they themselves feeling responsible for events even if they were outside of their control. Queen Elsa and Artoria Pendragon in particular could extend their sympathy, as they have also experienced those heavy feelings of guilt for things really outside of their control, with Elsa initially seeing herself as a burden and blaming herself for certain events after accidentally hurting Anna, and Artoria not being able to save Camelot back in her old life and overcoming said guilt with the help of her master, Shirou. Raiden's attempts to alter the timeline constantly backfired on him and, though successful in defeating Shao before he gains ultimate victory, nearly every Earthrealm defender as well as his own apprentice ended up dying left him with an extreme guilt complex, along with his faith in the Elder Gods deteriorating and eventually him becoming Dark Raiden. Thankfully, he's gotten better since then, and Raiden wishes to help Maliketh go through what he almost failed to do, and he occasionally engages with the Black Blade in kombat to that end.
  • He knows very well what the consequences of his power being misused are and can never truly forgive himself for what happened that night. Hearing about a world where the Death was utterly incompetent was not something that eased him. Said Death's name was Grim, who is supposed to carefully guard the use of his scythe and do his job of reaping souls, but ultimately proves to be a giant Butt-Monkey who constantly loses said scythe in many almost admirably stupid ways, and ended up losing a bet to two mortals that essentially put him under their heel forever. While Maliketh is of course frustrated by this, he can feel a bit of pity inside of himself for him, as he does genuinely just want to do his job at the end of the day, but at this point Maliketh thinks his "deal" with Billy and Mandy should be broken since it only causes his universe chaos. He is also concerned about people who had managed to actually defeat their world's Deaths in combat, not the least of which being Puss in Boots, who was able to beat back against the above-mentioned Wolf. Granted, the Wolf was holding back much of his full strength, and Puss was doing that because he realized the value of his life in that moment, so for now they'll maintain a mutual respect for each other...mostly on Puss' end.
  • The threat of death by his hand was potentially held over the heads of the demigods as punishment for betrayal back in his world, and it wasn't long before that threat reached here. Ra's al Ghul is utterly terrified of Maliketh. Considering how Destined Death is capable of overriding even the immortality of literal gods, being able to kill Ra's even with the "blessing" of the Lazarus Pits is a very real possibility for him. The opinion is shared by the other immortals in the Pantheon who fear Death. Thankfully, they are still in the Pantheon where the universal Resurrective Immortality applies, and Maliketh himself has no interest in actively gunning them down (as stated before, his problem is with the literal undead and the like), but they still fear the results of what could happen should someone manage to use it against them back in the mortal planes. The SCP Foundation doesn't consider Destined Death to be a viable option for killing SCP-682 despite this power, however, considering that even trying to get it from Maliketh will be a difficult task due to his protectiveness over it, not to mention that if 682 manages to adapt to Destined Death, things are only going to get even worse for the Foundation.

Cower. Before Maliketh, Marika's Black Blade.

First draft of the peanut rework. Are there other canons about SCP-173 that I wasn't able to find which would be fertile ground for developing interactions.

SCP-173, Deity of Neck Snapping (The Sculpture, The Original, The Statue, Peanut, Billy, Ted(?), Untitled 2004 (formerly), The Freaky Statue, The Koitern, Shy Sammy the Statue, Carver, Poop Statue, Uscisk)

  • Note: Rework.
  • Hall: Methods of Killing (House of Slaughter)
  • Intermediate God (Greater God in the Revised Entry scenario, overall considered a Euclid class object)
  • Symbol: Itself
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Implacable Man, The Dreaded Even To SCP-682 and SCP-096, Distressingly Fast, Murderous Mannequin and Living Statue, Moves very fast unless you are directly looking at it, Can't Move While Being Watched, Sickening "Crunch!" By Snapping Your Neck, Nothing Will Stop Its Neck Snapping Rampages, Symbol Face
  • Domains: Statues, Sight, Mystery, Murder
  • Unclear connection to: Ted, and by extension the Five Survivors as a whole
  • Interests: The Celestial Toymaker
  • Allies: The Weeping Angels (somewhat), Spooky, The Slender Man, Ghatanothoa
  • Odd Friendship with: Robert the Tire
  • On speaking terms with: Prince Asterion/the Minotaur, the Boos
  • Enemies: Anyone with a neck is fair game for SCP-173. More specifically? The SCP Foundation, The Protectors of Plot Continuum, The Doctor, Mike Schmidt, Larry Daley, SCP-682, AM, Bender Bending Rodriguez, Mario and Luigi, Regirock, Heimdall, Medusa, Kaa
  • Feared by: Many other SCPs, notably 682 and 096, blind deities
  • Ignored by: The Statue of Freedom, The Nestene Consciousness and Autons
  • SCP-173 can be described as a docile statue and nothing particular stands out about it besides having a creepy appearance. When observed, it seems to just be a tacky statue concrete and rebar, with a face made from Krylon brand spray paint. However, should you take your eyes off it for just a moment, the creature will snap your neck. Maintaining eye-sight is the only way to control it and even then, it can move while you blink, and it's incredibly fast to boot. It's not clear why; there are intepretations about it enjoying the Sickening "Crunch!" sound from snapping necks, being angry about not being able to move, being friendly until it's face was smudged (ok that was from a joke article), something else...or maybe it's just a jerk. It is in all respects, unkillable. SCP-173's cell has a combination of blood and feces accumulate across the floor through an unknown method, requiring that it be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis.
    • Out of universe, SCP-173 is not just notable for being one of the most iconic SCPs, but the first SCP ever written and thus kicking the entire SCP verse off. The photo that inspired and formerly was used on the SCP-173 article was actually a picture of an art piece called "Untitled 2004" by Izumi Kato. Because the image was so iconic, it was a rare exception to the SCP wiki's usual image use policies, and thus for legal reasons the SCP-173 page had to be edited to include warnings about how the image and its likeness can be used. In February of 2022, the photo was removed to remain on the safe side of copyright law due to it not technically being compliant with Creative Commons (CC-BY-SA 3.0), as well as the ethical quandary of it essentially being hijacked from the original artist
  • The first time it entered the Pantheon (or to be more precise, when it was first successfully broken out by someone, GUAE being the most likely suspect after the last breakout), it just startled a few deities who were wandering around the main halls of the Pantheon and suddenly a crowd formed around it, wondering why such a strange statue found itself standing in such an unexpected location. It wasn't until people lost sight of the creature and then it suddenly snapped the neck of Kenny McCormick that people realized this creature wasn't harmless. The SCP Foundation quickly contained the creature and—because the Court of the Gods saw it fitting to ascend—delivered it to its new temple, where it's kept at bay with heavy camera surveillance. SCP-173 is one of the few deities that has been capable of travelling almost anywhere in the Pantheon, even to the most unlikely of places. A warning has been displayed that SCP-173 can show up at any moment if it's broken from containment and should it be spotted, maintain eye contact and call for help if you need to.
  • SCP-173 is sometimes known as "Peanut" because of the curious proportions of its original design. Or Billy because of Markiplier. Usually just differentiated as the Sculpture or the Statue. Despite this some of its silly nicknames and appearance as a tacky totem 173 is no joke; even the meanest SCPs keep their distance. For example, anyone wonder how SCP-096 (who kills anyone that looks at its face) would interact with SCP-173 (who kills anyone who doesn't look at it)? Well 096 booked it after being effortlessy trounched by the thing. Famously SCP-173 was used to try and terminate SCP-682. It failed but left the Hard-To-Destroy Reptile cowering on the wall, developing a bunch of bulletproof eyes to keep watch on the thing. A couple potential explanations given make this beef personal. In one canon SCP-173 was a ruthless dictator known as the Koitern who committed genocide against 682's countrymen. In another possible origin, 682 is AM and 173 is Ted suffering under a variant of his And I Must Scream status. SCP-173 is so murderous out of a desperation to be terminated. While they co-exist in the pantheon as different entities the statue weirdly leaves him and the Five Survivors alone unless they want their necks snapped since it somehow "sees visions" of that potential origin. Maybe it's just weirded out by this connection. There is a potential scenario known as the Revised Entry where SCP-173 learnt how to self-duplicate, forming a Hive Mind army. It became such a menace that it overturned both North and South America, leading to both continents being nuked.
  • It doesn't matter if you're human, SCP or otherwise; if you have a neck, SCP-173 will try and snap it the moment no-one's watching. If you somehow don't have a neck, 173 will probably leave you alone but only if you're disinterested. For example at one point Bender laughed at his design and made the mistake of turning around, causing the statue to twist his head to the point it spun and came loose. And if you can survive, 173 will keep snapping your neck until you don't or in the best case it gets bored. SCP-173 does this by choice and not instinct; it didn't snap the suicidal SCP-451. The Protectors of Plot Continuum have been trying to fend off the creature since it has proven to be a troublesome annoyance for them thanks to 173's powers. Of the few deities that were tasked to keep SCP-173 secure was Mike Schmidt, given his experience with the Animatronics. Mike has gone on record saying that dealing with 173 has been hard, since unlike the animatronics whose movement is erratic but predictable, given that he is not used to be constantly fearing that the sculpture moves every time he blinks. And even worse that it knows how to open doors. Larry Daley is another who often is tasked with guarding it. Unlike Mike, Larry is very used to dealing with living sculptures, although he also has had his share of problems with SCP-173.
  • Remarkably similar to the Weeping Angels, as they're both statues that require constant observation or else they will attack you in the blink of an eye, and snap your neck. Well, the Weeping Angels primarily "kill you kindly" by flinging you decades into the past and feed off that potential life-force. But that's how they eat...if they're full they usually like to snap people's necks "for fun, sir". SCP-173 seems to like the Weeping Angels though it acknowledges neither can move if both SCP-173 and the Angels are staring at each other, so if they're going to work together some co-ordination is necessary. It has also critiqued their Stupid Evil tendencies, though will give credit to more pragmatic and intelligent Weeping Angels like "Angel Bob". Interestingly out-of-universe, the original 173 article came out very shortly before the episode "Blink" aired. Their alliance was formed in order to deal with the Doctor, who has used his (or sometimes her) knowledge of fighting the Weeping Angels to re-contain the Sculpture much to its annoyance. The Celestial Toymaker was impressed by the Sculpture, believing he could use 173 as part of "the ultimate game of musical statues!"
  • Said to have a similar MO as Slenderman, with the main difference that looking at Slenderman is actually harmful for the victim. It's not a strange occurrence that these two creature actually have come to an agreement and "hunt" together during very late hours of the pantheon. The pantheon has been unable to successfully capture the Slenderman yet, so the only solution they found was to keep an strict watch of SCP-173 in it's temple at all times. Spooky has taken an interest into inducting the statue to her collection of Specimens in her mansion but that has proven troublesome since she doesn't have the best relationship with the Foundation but she has broken out the creature from its temple numerous time to relocate it to her mansion. How? Well not having a physical neck might have helped her avoid the creatures most deadly attack, so she just allows it to follow her wherever she goes. She might have accidentally killed a few people when she lost sight of SCP-173 though.
  • An obvious similarity can be made between SCP-173 and the Boos as they Can't Move While Being Watched. However the Boos aren't nearly as hostile, unless of course you're invading their house, are a long-standing enemy like Mario and Luigi or someone else they have bad history with. Whenever the stature encounters a Boo, they close their eyes and if not being observed that allows the statue to go its own way. The Boos can't really do anything to damage 173 and because of their intangible form and lack of neck 173 can't really damage them, so it lets them be. Instead, it likes to chase Mario and Luigi to try and snap their neck; if they have extra lives, that just means it has multiple ways to get its beloved "crunch". It seems to like Ghatanothoa because by mummifying people this makes them easy to have their necks snapped, though as the Great Old One's victims are alive SCP-173 is essentially practicing euthanasia.
  • Even ignoring the scenario where AM and Ted and 682 and 173, SCP-173 hates AM for imprisoning people in their own bodies. Maybe not for ethical reasons, but because 173 hates being frozen in one places and wants to be free to move. This is one stated reason for it to go around snapping necks. However SCP-6001 implies something quite different; as a sculpture, it considers itself a work of art and thus wants people to see it. The 173 from that universe underwent a Heel–Face Turn and is in a museum where it enjoys people who appreciate the artistry behind it. Does this mean if you place it in the right position of the House of Craft it will start to mellow out? Well a) there is no set canon so that might only apply to 6001's Sculpture and b) the SCP Foundation refuses by seeing it as a disaster waiting to happen. Not that this doesn't stop the statue from breaking into the House of Craft. In one of these instances 173 ended up being stuck in a Gelatinous Cube...for a moment, before bursting out at high speed when no-one was looking. The Foundation noted this as "another containment method for the Sculpture we can throw in the bin".
  • Regirock didn't get the hype over SCP-173, citing it as a clumsily made statue and as a legendary made of rock and stone they didn't think it had much to worry. Plus the legendary titans don't have a neck. A poor decision; keeping their eye off the SCP resulted in Regirock becoming a bunch of cluttered rocks and needed its creator to be put back together. The Statue of Freedom does not care for 173 as she doesn't think it poses that much of a threat and feels that the Foundation has it all under control, but she certainly isn't fond over the SCP either. SCP-173 could also be considered a Murderous Mannequin, if a gaudy and ugly one. The Nestene Consciousness could not care about that since 173 is not made of plastic and is way too conspicuous to be useful.
  • SCP-173 hates those with the power of "super-sight" or not needing to blink because it's a lot more difficult to count on them not looking at it and giving it the freedom it desires...along with its beloved "crunch". Heimdall would probably be the perfect way to lock the Sculpture in place were it not for a variety of other priorities keeping him from a 24/7 gaze. Conversly, SCP-173 likes blind deities because there's nothing they can do to stop it. Kaa once made the mistake of believing they could use Hypnotic Eyes on the statue, only for this to do nothing...good thing snakes can't blink so Kaa was able to wait until Foundation personell reclaimed the Sculpture. The statue being made of concrete and rebar means that Medusa's gaze doesn't affect it in the slightest, and she is no less immune to the Neck Snap, which is why she stays far away from it.
  • Interestingly SCP-173 has a friendship of sorts with Robert the Tire. Robert is, well a tire that inexplicably has sentience, and has Psychic Powers it uses to blow people's heads up. Why? Who knows. Of course you could argue 173 has rather inexplicable and inscrutable in its actions, and the intentionally Loose Canon of the SCP 'verse means no-one's getting a concrete motive out of the statue. SCP-173 finds Robert amusing and since the tire doesn't "see" in the traditional sense it isn't frozen in place by the tire, so they can go on a journey of snapping necks and blowing up skulls. This has only made the SCP Foundation even more interested in Robert the Tire. On another note, while the Sculpture isn't going to be all that co-operative with the Minotaur it does seem to have a bit of an accord, as the Minotaur was sealed away and imprisoned in a labyrinth. It reminds the statue of how the SCP Foundation has imprisoned it so it might feel a twinge of sympathy, as much as it's capable of that.

I have adopted an idea. I want to see if you guys think it is a good choice for the trope or not, or argue there's a better trope out there

  • M.X.E.S, God of Unnecessarily Creepy Robots (Hall of Mechanical Aesthetics, Lawful Neutral)-adopted from Emperor AI. Part of the whole Mascot Horror gimmick is that the Chuck E Cheese-esque animatronics are meant for kids in-universe but they fall into the Uncanny Valley. M.X.E.S is a security program that's meant to keep the Mimic locked up and is meant to be a protector. He's Good All Along, however he looks like a creepy rabbit hologram. The fact M.X.E.S takes the form of this creepy ghostly rabbit exploits fans' familiarity with rabbits in this series=evil so as to make him a Red Herring for the real threat in the Ruin DLC. Unfortunately Cassie mistakes it for the real threat

Alright, I now propose Ruby-Eye Shabranigdo, the Dark Lord Sealed Sevenfold. As I stated before, Shabranigdo was sealed in seven human souls. Three incarnations of him are seen in the series, one sealed within an acient sorcer called Lei Magnus, another sealed within Rezo, the antagonist of the first book/arc of the series, and a third sealed in Luke, from the original novels.

Bison, once known as Killer Bee, now known as Cammy White concerns him. A.K.I., however, is another story. Just as she had done when she was mortal, she got the jump on JP and held him at talon-point, her talons extended and dripping with poison. "A friendly reminder Jean-Phillipe," A.K.I. whispered into his ear, her breath hot, her voice cold. "The revival of Shadaloo is my master's honor and his alone. And should he wishes it, then I will do to you what Ken Masters will not. With the blessings of the Master, I have ascended, so you better behave... or I will be the last thing you will never see." With her laughter ringing in JP's ears, A.K.I. departs, the message sent. Once again, JP is left shook at the news. A.K.I., F.A.N.G.'s batshit insane apprentice to all things poison and assassination, has ascended to the Pantheon. Even more fitting is that A.K.I.'s ascension comes on the Year of the Snake.
  • A.K.I.'s ascension to the Pantheon did not go unnoticed. For the deified Street Fighters who have a bone to pick with Shadaloo, they are on high alert. None more so than Rashid. For A.K.I., the Turbulent Wind is Numero Uno on her hit list, given his role in defeating her beloved master, F.A.N.G., during the Black Moon Incident. Chun-Li is close behind in the Number Two spot, given how she spent her time in Interpol chasing down Shadaloo. A.K.I.'s ascension did not go unnoticed by the Pantheon's assassin community. Yoh Hinomura and his wife, Emu Hino, are certain that the 108 Dragons' cache of poisons and antidote can counter whatever A.K.I. can throw at them. While Specter compliments A.K.I. on her professionalism in killing her targets, yet he criticizes A.K.I. toying with her targets. "She's more like a cat than a snake, playing with their food before the kill." And the less said about A.K.I.'s obsession with F.A.N.G., the better. "That is just weird. And also, very pathethic," Specter noted.
  • Not much is known about A.K.I.'s early life, let alone her real name, and no one isn't brave enough (or crazy enough) to ask. What is known is that A.K.I. was a street urchin alongside her brother, growing up in the streets of Shanghai. During the Chinese New Year, she and her brother tried to acost F.A.N.G., tasked with reviving Shadaloo from the ashes. Impressed with A.K.I.'s spirit (and her attempt to try and blackmail him), F.A.N.G. gives A.K.I. and her brother three options: an offer of money (which was poisoned, resulting in their deaths), a snake-handled dagger (of which F.A.N.G. would lop their hand off should they reach for it), or simply leave with their lives. It's unknown what A.K.I.'s brother chose, but A.K.I. was intrigued by the dagger and wanted to know more about it's history. Impressed with the girl's desire to know more about F.A.N.G.'s Nguuhao sect, accepted A.K.I. as his apprentice. Skarlet sees something of a connection between herself and Skarlet in regards to their origins. Both were street urchins, and both became apprentices to powerful men. Only difference was that while Skarlet learned kombat and blood magik from Shao Kahn, A.K.I. learned Snake Kung Fu and poisons from F.A.N.G., following her becoming intrigued by the writing engraved on F.A.N.G.'s Nguuhao dagger. A.K.I. doesn't have that many friends, but she does see Skarlet as something of a kindred spirit.
  • A.K.I., surprisingly have a soft spot for animals. Well, those that produces toxins, anyway, with the snake being her favorite, as she finds them to be adorable. "This world is just teeming with charming creatures," A.K.I. giggles. "Especially Syzoth." Yes, A.K.I. is very interested in either getting a sample of Reptile's blood or see if his acidic bile is potent enough to create new variants of her poison. She is also interested in obtaining the highly acidic blood of the Xenomorph in order to create poison that attacks the blood itself, but is unable to do so, due to its violent nature and the chance she could wind up becoming stuck in a cocoon with a Facehugger egg stuck in her face. As it turns out, A.K.I. wasn't alone in her quest to find the most exotic of poisons, as General Serpentine also shared the same goals. And unbeknownst to Serpentine and A.K.I., they both shared the same obsession to their respective masters, with Lord Bevron for Serpentine. The fact that they both share a fondness for snakes also helps in cementing their friendship.
    • Speaking of General Serpentine, Fangtom and Acidicus immediately piqued A.K.I.'s interest. According to Serpentine, both had unique, potent variants of venom; Fangtom's venom had the ability to corrupt not only living beings, but also machines, twisting and corrupting them to create more Fangpyre Supreme, whereas Acidicus's venom can force their victim to experience their worst fears, similar to that of Scarecrow's Fear Toxin. A.K.I. was interested in meeting them, but Serpentine pointed out that both Acidicus and Fangtom had turned their lives around, much to A.K.I.'s dismay. But all was not lost, as A.K.I. was directed to the demented psychologist, Johnathan Crane. A.K.I. was intrigued as to how Scarecrow's variant of Fear Toxin worked, so Scarecrow happily obliged and sprayed A.K.I. with a dose. "Hmm... you have a fear of losing your Master's approval," Scarecrow mused as his Fear Toxin drove A.K.I. to madness. "Repeated exposure to various poisons led to current psychosis. Classic textbook sociopathy, with hints of an Electra complex. Intersting." A.K.I. survived Scarecrow's Fear Toxin, cackling even more maniacally as the effects wore off, uttering a single word: "More." At that Scarecrow chuckled. "The last time I saw someone wanting more of my formula was Harley Quinn, and she huffed it as a recreational drug. I believe we will get along quite nicely..."
    • Surprisingly enough, A.K.I. is one of a select few who is immune to The Joker's Joker Toxin. It's been theorized that due to A.K.I., exposure to various poisons during her training under F.A.N.G. has built up quite the immunity. And in turn, the Clown Prince of Crime can easily shrug off A.K.I.'s poison, even going as far as to walk off her ultimate technique, the Claws of Yazi, in which she had upped her poison to a fatal dosage. "Impossible! This is impossible!" A.K.I. ranted. Batman, who had witnessed the encounter, had theorized that due to A.K.I.'s Nguuhao training which exposed her to numerous types of poison (resulting in her current appearance), gave her an immunity to poisons similar to that of F.A.N.G., along with a severe loss of sanity. In turn, Joker's repeated exposure to various chemicals allowed him to tank A.K.I.'s most potent of poisons. Batman made a mental note to ensure that Contingency Plans against A.K.I. and her master are implemented, in the event that he or any other members of the Batfamily encounter her or F.A.N.G. One thing for certain, A.K.I. isn't a fan of The Joker.
  • You know that you're a whole new level of balls-to-the-wall, batshit insane when The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Splinter join forces with The Shredder to combat not just A.K.I., but F.A.N.G. as well. Maybe it was A.K.I. poisoning April O'Neil, Bebob and Rocksteady that made both Splinter and Shredder think that a temporary truce is better than dealing with F.A.N.G.'s demented pupil. Of course, the once the truce is over, then all bets are off. For The Heavy, A.K.I. is giving off the same vibe as is The Pyro. "I thought that thing scares me. But white-haired poison lady scares me even more," he says. A.K.I., for her part, now wants to meet The Pyro. As a practicioner of She Quan (Snake Fist Kung Fu), it all but inevitable for A.K.I. to confront Master Viper, one of the Furious Five and a master of Snake Kung Fu. The ensuing fight was evenly matched, with A.K.I. being unable to poison Master Viper due to her being immune to poison, whereas Viper herself lacked fangs to inflict poison onto A.K.I. The battle ended in a standoff, but A.K.I. swears to make a wallet out of Viper the next time they cross paths.
    • However, those with immunity to poison are those who are on A.K.I.'s radar. The Boys are one such group with poison immunity, none more so than Hughie Campbell. It also helps that he drinks Love Sausage's vodka, of which is distilled from brake fluid, said to "kill even the AIDS virus." A.K.I. decides to steer clear from the group, due to the unpredictability of both The Frenchman and The Female. The 108 Dragons is another. Not even their Japanese-born leaders, Yoh Hinomura and his wife, Emu Hino, trust either A.K.I. or her eccentric master. A.K.I., however, is insulted that they would not welcome her with open arms. The Four Hokuto Brothers is another one A.K.I.'s watch list. You know you're bad when even Jagi, the black sheep of the brothers whose hate-boner for Kenshiro is the stuff of legends, is wary around you. Furthermore, the Keiraku Hikō known as Anbakukō can not only increase resistance to poison, but can also expelled them from their body. Harley Quinn also has an immunity to poison, thanks in part to her (past?) relationship with Poison Ivy. And finally, there's Ivy herself. A.K.I. could only dream of having Ivy's level of immunity. And the knowledge Ivy had of rare poisons and neurotoxins made A.K.I. (and F.A.N.G.) green with envy.
  • Out of the deified Street Fighters, the three that are on A.K.I.'s hit list are the Arab wind master Rashid, the former I.C.P.O. officer Chun-Li, and the Japanese Ansatsuken warrior Ryu. Rashid is Number One with a bullet, as he was the one who had defeated her beloved master F.A.N.G. (with an assist by a newly-freed Marz of The Dolls, at the cost of her life). Chun-Li is next on her list. While she has some level of respect towards Chun-Li, with A.K.I. addressing her as Dàjiě (elder sister) in a form of respect, she does issue a warning to Chun-Li, warning her to "keep out her business, lest she ends up losing her face." This doesn't sit well with Gen, who pays A.K.I. a visit. If there is one man that both A.K.I. and F.A.N.G. fears, it's The Demon of Hong Kong. While Chun-Li can fight her own battles, Gen does have a soft spot for his old student. "If you threaten her in my presence again, I will be very... displeased," he warns. A.K.I. may be F.A.N.G.'s finest student and a master of assassination and poisons, but even she rightfully fears Gen. For now, A.K.I. steers clear of Chun-Li. While at the bottom of the top three, Ryu is still a threat, as he was the one who put Bison down once and for all. A.K.I. knew of Bison's obsession with Ryu as a potential host, as well as Ryu being a practicioner of Gouken's version of Ansatsuken. "Such wasted potential," A.K.I. had lamented. "Ansatsuken is a killing art, and Ryu isn't using it for its intended purpose. The only one who does just that is Akuma."
    • Despite being assassins, Ra's al-Ghul and his daughter, Talia, are smart enough not to trust A.K.I. Lady Shiva went on record saying that she would gladly kill A.K.I. if she threatened her daughter. "The only person who gets to kill Cassandra is me," she declared. Despite their repeated attempts to kill each other, Nina and Anna Williams are wary around A.K.I. Even they see the threat of an unpredictable, unstable assassin running amok in the Pantheon. Beatrix Kiddo and John Wick are also cautious, even more so for John, due to the bounty that is still on his head. He knows that A.K.I. won't try and kill him unless F.A.N.G. gives her the green light, yet, he remains on his guard. Due to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s past issues with Shadaloo, Black Widow has been monitoring A.K.I., as both Captain America and Iron Man are both high-value targets.
  • "No matter how much one trains, they all fall victim to mere milligrams of my handiwork. Such futile efforts, heeheehee...."
