Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • John Oldman is a university professor who is Older Than They Look, and had a meeting in 2007 with his friends on his intention to leave them. He started with a seeming hypothetical, a prompt of the life of a man who as inexplicably been alive for 14,000 years, born in Ice Age Europe during the Upper Paleolithic. However it soon became apparent that he was suggesting he was some sort of immortal who wanted to tell his aquaitances why he was leaving. He's lived in Sumer and Bablyon, been a Phoenician sailor, trained under the Buddha and befriended Vincent Van Gogh. Some of the people he knew became famous and a few of his actions had an impact, but for the most part he lived as normal a life as he could. To make it all the more interesting, every character is a teacher at a certain subject that sooner or later is relevant or brought up (there's an archaeologist, a psychologist, a biologist, historian and a Christian theologian/literalist), and everyone deals with each new part of the story from John in different ways. Evidence for his prolonged life was revealed when the elderly psychiatric professor Gruber put two and two together and realized John was his father, but sadly he suffered a heart attack. John would be there for the funeral. A decade later he'd live as a professor at Chico University under the alias John Young. Ironically for his new choice of name he finally started to age due to environmental changes in the past decade. Meanwhile, four of his students come to suspect his true identity after reading a book published by Art Jenkins about what John told him, which ruined his career and left him determined to find John. This almost got ugly by a fundamentalist student stabbing him, but he made a recovery and now has to contemplate mortality finally reaching him.
  • His original name was indeed John, long before anyone else had it. With aging now in effect, he figures John Young is as good an alias as any, though he freely uses John Oldman and other puns on his unusually long life. John's ascension to the Trope Pantheon was a humble one; he was researching newer stories on immortality wanting to understand his current status, only to find an advertisement for it and a trope open he felt he fit; Inconspicuous Immortal. John Young possesses none of the pride and overt presence you'd find in an Emperor of Mankind or Vandal Savage, instead being more akin to old Hob Gadling who tends to flow under the radar and live his life like most people...with the obvious caveat that said life goes on way longer than it humanly should. Hob invited John for a drink, glad to see a caveman that wasn't a homicidal maniac like Vandal. It is worth noting that while John obviously doesn't like Vandal because of his evil he is it's more a Nothing Personal way. Vandal Savage is more bemused than anything that he's inconspicuous, with whatever impact he has on history or historical figures being unintentional. With how old he is the fact he's some important events he's stumbled into contributing or even causing without realizing it is more down to law of probabilities than any attempt. This is why he finds Forrest Gump an interesting fellow. He's just a normal American but he's been an important mover of thirty years of US history, doing stuff like teaching Elvis to dance and exposing Watergate. Gump wonders if he's done anything to influence American history, though if John did he doesn't remember it.
  • He began life as a simple hunter-gatherer and prefers to remain under the radar, taking relatively unspectacular jobs, avoiding fame, and vanishing into the undergrowth whenever his inability to age becomes impossible to ignore. His contentment with his humble lot in life is something he has in common with Aziraphale, who largely enjoys the quiet life of an antique bookstore owner. He had learned of John Young from a book about his story and ended up inviting him to a book club. This book club mutated into a meet up for other humble immortals like Tom Bombadil and Henry Morgan; the latter isn't fond of what he has but lives a quiet life mostly as a medical doctor. John may get bored on occasion or regret losing people, but he seems content with life and has no interest in death. He may have met another immortal in the 17th century, though he never really got a different perspective on immortality. He'll fully admit it must suck for some, especially SCP-1440; having been a sore winner in his Chess with Death, the Brothers Death have cursed him to bring calamity to civilized areas if he spends too long there, forcing him to wander. The Old Man From Nowhere envies his ability to fit in, though he is still happy for him. John Young feels bad for 1440's curse and wishes the Brothers Death could just let go of their grudged and let him rest.
  • Pretty much the complete opposite of Sigvald the Magnificent or Tenebrae. The Sith Emperor is a casual sadist who has committed genocide to be immortal and would render the entire galaxy full of corpses to guarantee it, along with being a malevolent tyrant. Slaanesh's champion is a vain hedonist who disregards any and every morality for his own self-centered excesses and wants. The two regard John Young as woefully boring while he finds them throughly reprehensible individuals, something few would argue against. He's also appalled by Voldemort's actions in pursuing immortality, who in turn is incensed "a mere muggle became a living Philosopher's Stone". Note he is referring to the effect from his universe, not the one of Fullmetal Alchemist. One immortal from there, Van Hohenheim, is a lot more melancholic of his immortality and like John he left the house because he didn't want to see his children grow old and die. John and Hohenheim can sometimes be found studying with Albus Dumbledore; he and Harry were interested in John Young and his experiences. It is worth noting that despite Voldemort's comment, anyone who's seen Nicholas Flamel would know his philosopher's stone doesn't keep him as fresh as John.
  • While completely different from Vandal Savage in temperament they both have memories of the Ice Age, with their five-digit lifespans affording them remembering when mammoths and sabre-tooth tigers were alive. He's not as far back in the timeline to have met the Herd, though, but he is interested in them as an academic interest. He is also interested in incarnations of Death such as Death of the Endless or the Wolf, due to the fact he has avoided dying for hundreds of lifetimes but now that he's aging is finally due to meet their ilk soon. In the first few centuries he was seen as magical and set to lead his tribe, only to be chased away when they came to belief he was stealing their life force; part of him wonders if that was in fact the case. It is discussed and speculated that John may be the prehistoric origin of the vampire myth, which is why he is interested in the Hall of Vampires and its many residents. He finds Alucard's belief of the importance of humanity and mortality given his own status to be an interesting point of view for him to take even if he doesn't agree that being so long-lived takes away from his own essential humanity. He's not a fan of the ravenous and cruel vampires like Count Orlock, mind you, but that's to be expected from most people with a conscience.
  • John Young is still a professor in his world, so he has an honorary position in the House of School. It should be noted that while he remembers "the ups and downs and traumas" like Ashildr his memory is finite, so he's not an ideal source of history. He uses archaeology to try to understand aspects of his life that he's forgotten over time or to clarify why certain events he was a witness to happened as they did. He appreciates some of the help in that field that Indiana Jones and River Song have made. Indy is interested in him since he's seen a way to sustain yourself through the centuries, though it comes with the major cost that the Grail can't leave a certain area. River was married to an immortal (well, close to one at least), the Doctor, who's been all across history and had a major impact in their adventures. Some incarnations like the 12th Doctor were even active professors, and they were interested in meeting John. Jonathan Joestar also wanted to meet him, as he has aspirations in being an archeologist. Sometimes you can find them in his courses. No points are given for John thinking his adoptive brother Dio should burn in Hell for everything he's done, well beyond simple Transhuman Treachery.
  • Denzel Crocker has somehow come to the belief that John Young is a disguised FAIRY! GOD! PARENT! becauses FAIRIES! are immortal and have proven to live for over 10,000 years. This resulted in him throwing a big net over John, only for him to take off the net pretty annoyed at the situation. John isn't impressed by Mr Crocker due to him being a crazed Sadist Teacher, and he thinks a Child Hater like him being a teacher to the fourth grade was a mistake. As far as he knows his longevity isn't magical in any way, though he admits it might be. One theory he likes is that quirk in his biology that allows for perfect regeneration of the body's cells. Which makes him wonder; would this make him some sort of mutant akin to Wolverine, except not as flashy? He doesn't know but with his newfound mortality he would like to find out. John holds his job as teacher relatively seriously and he's not a fan of any Sadist Teacher; he finds Suguru Kamoshida especially gross and deplorable. Meeting up with the antiquarian Simon Petrikov was a breath of fresh air. He used to be immortal as the Ice King, though he absolutely hated it and couldn't remember who he used to be. Simon is now a Fish out of Temporal Water and could do talking with a down to earth guy who's been around for a very long time.
  • As he's just one man in one place at any given time, it's difficult for him to know many historical figures. That being said, being as old as he is he's bound to meet a few. For example, he considered going on a trip with Christopher Columbus but declined. He was friends with Vincent Van Gogh and is one of a few who bought a painting for him when he was still alive. He's glad to see his artwork was appreciated after his death, however he still feels bad for his old friend's depression and the fact he eventually took his own life. It is worth noting that some modern historians theorize he might've been shot by accident and sold it as a suicide to spare the one who did it, but that's not any better. More importantly to him, he studied under the Buddha. John Young can't recall any other notable historical figures he met though he could be proven wrong if studying history helps him recall stuff. Of course now that he's in the Trope Pantheon he has a pick aplenty of historical figures to see, especially in the Hall of Historical Figures. He's pretty sure he hasn't met Rasputin as he would've been in the US while he was active, but he does wonder if he was that other immortal he might've met. Since Abraham Lincoln is an immortal present long before his official birthdate in two universes he wondered for a moment if that was also the case in his universe, but dismissed him being the other immortal as Lincoln wouldn't have been in Brussells in the 19th century.
  • He was present in the Middle East in the 1st century CE, trying to spread Buddhist teachings and having grown dissastisfied with Roman brutality. He ended up crucified but was able to fake his death. He's tried to avoid any situation to test a potential Healing Factor, even if he doesn't scar. However he considers this attempt to bring Buddhism to the Middle East something that got out of hand, since it built up to something he never intended to; being the inspiration for Jesus. Yes, in his universe, he's the basis for Jesus Christ, as the meditation ritual he used to fake his death and his natural ageless got mistaken for the resurrection. He never planned for a religion to build up around him, nor wanted it to. In all, it's a situation not too different from Brian Cohen, except not as comical. Brian doesn't know what to think of this, since he was an actual contemporary of Jesus, and he even met Pontius Pilate. Another curious similarity they share is an anachronisitc name, since you don't expect a caveman to be called John or a 1st century Jewish man to be called Brian Cohen. The two had a drink over it all, and they ended up bonding about this.
  • Religious fundamentalists like Bishop Mozgus and Judge Claude Frollo want John Young crucified upside down, St Peter style, for the percieved blasphemy of John Young claiming he used to be Jesus. However it's very important to remember that he is only the basis for Jesus in their universe; after all, there are multiple versions of Satan, God and other theological figures walking around, and the Trope Pantheon is one vast multiverse of a Crossover Cosmology. Given their own crimes against humanity, John finds it rich they would ever judge him. He tries not to mention it around the pantheon's Christian residents, not wanting to upset or offend anyone too much. For the most part, priests and other religious figures are able to compartmentalize this and they aren't going to push him about it. Ned Flanders does and he complains about blasphemy, however he's non-violent about it and thinks of John more as frustrating than someone he outright hates; John himself is neutral to Flanders, though. While John could never approach the Last Son of Alcatraz due to being an existential threat as far as he's concerned, he pities how he was controlled as some bastardized version of the Lord under American propaganda. Being The Antichrist, Damien is seeking to "get his hands" on John. Yes, he's aware he's a normal human that just happened to survive 14,000 years, but he wants to make him suffer to spite the Messiah he's diametrically opposed to.
  • Having trained under the Buddha himself John would become a person of great interest to another Buddhist, that being Lisa Simpon. Initially she was rather skeptical of his claims, especially since he's started to age, and decided to investigate his claims. When she was eventually convinced he's the real deal (partly because it would be Arbitrary Skepticism to seriously doubt it in the Trope Pantheon of all places), she was pretty excited and decided to start up a conversation with him. Both to learn about his teachings under the Buddha and both finding spirituality in a chaotic world while also having an inquisitive mind for science and reason. On another note, John was surprised to learn that Isaac and Miria somehow didn't realize they gained immortality for seventy years despite not aging in all that time. He also feels bad for Czeslaw Meyer being tortured and experimented on for 200 years supposedly to test the limits of his immortality but really just so his caretaker could slake his sadism.

Do completed Youtube series have the same hype prevention rules of waiting two months since the finale?

Honestly I’ve wondered this for a while so I might as well say it

I get the hype preventions for stuff that hasn’t even come out yet or finished, that makes perfect sense. But like

Why with already released/finished stuff? Yeah I do get it making a profile about something you learned about an hour ago is hasty, you should wait a bit. But why 2 MONTHS, that’s weirdly long. and especially for stuff that’s like one offs and not part of a franchise.

So, the reasoning for this is to prevent half baked profiles, yeah? But at the same time…. Is that even possible in this climate? Like nowadays compared to back in 2019 when this sandbox was made, things are a lot more slow and planned out, people spend time perfecting their profiles, setting up dates, showing off profiles for suggestions…. Is it even possible to ascend a hype driven poor profile like that nowadays? Do we even need a 2 months waiting period when some profiles take that amount of time to make.

Or maybe I’m just yapping. Idk I had these thoughts for a while and figured I should express them

[up] Regarding the "2 months after release/finish" limit, that's mainly in place to prevent contributors from jumping the gun right after a work is finished, since they'd likely be very excited that work they like is done and thus they can now propose characters from that work, which can be an issue if multiple people want to work on characters from that work at the same time. Plus, finales tend to involve new info for the characters, so it might be good to wait and have that new stuff settle in and integrate itself into the profile more organically than have it be rushed in excitement (they can plan out the profile in those 2 months before proposing). Overall, that rule is to ensure that much of the excitement from a series finale cools down so that everyone can work on profiles with calmer heads after processing the finale instead of frenzied excitement. Plus, it's a good reminder for newcomers grappling with the rules and conduct on how to make decent profiles and to not make premature profiles from their favorite works so soon. The hype prevention rules are to let there be time for excitement cool down along with waiting for an ongoing work to be finished.

What I think may be overkill would be extending hype wait times in the case of anime adaptations of manga when the manga is already done as the anime adaptation generally follow the plot of the source material and thus don't introduce much new info that would radically change profiles. I get not wanting rushed profiles made of excited hype to be made when a new season of a popular manga airs, but it can be annoying more years for the anime to finish for a completed manga series (especially if production is slow). Adjusting this would require more opinions though to see if others agree on adjusting it or not.

[down] [tup] for Imhotep holding The Punishment

I am considering restoring Imhotep to the Trope Pantheon, either under his former trope of The Punishment or the trope Curse of the Pharaoh. I believe that he fits the former, as he was given a particularly cruel punishment for sleeping with the pharaoh's wife and getting him killed-a Fate Worse than Death where his tongue was removed, and he was buried alive with flesh eating scarabs in a painful And I Must Scream situation..though the double-edged sword is he Came Back Wrong when he was freed after millennia. The latter is because Imhotep is an iconic example of the mummy that goes on a rampage when his body is disturbed and dug out, becoming a curse upon the land. However I feel if I were to do that it would need to be a group profile ala King Kong of his incarnations and I don't think I'm that experienced enough to do that justice

@ Radiocontactline: Oryx is one of the three original Hive Gods and the Hive as a whole are Omnicidal Maniacs. He possesses the ability to warp other beings into Taken. Even after his death, the Taken linger and serve at the beck and call of other beings of the Darkness.

Eileen, Oswald, Jae-heon, and Elena of the Reverb Ensemble can warp others into their minions. Eileen can indoctrinate people into the Church of Gears, Oswald can Mind Rape people and warp them into becoming apart of his troupe, Jae-heon can sow people into puppets, and Elena's exsanguinated victims eventually rise up as zombies called Bloodbags.

Got a change proposal regarding Wonder Woman. I would like to suggesting changing her trope from Living Lie Detector to The Soft-Hearted Warrior — while I think she represents the former well (no thanks to the Lasso of Truth), I think the latter trope describes her character and reputation a lot better; she is an Amazonian demigoddess who is not just strong, but is consistently seen as one of Earth's greatest warriors and more than capable of taking on threats like warmongers, supervillains, and evil gods. Despite this, she is also a superheroine and has very strong moral convictions, always willing to help out anyone in need and is known for her compassion, which helps in that she has inherited Aphrodite's representation for love.

As The Soft-Hearted Warrior is also an idealism-based trope, she would additionally have a better claim in staying as a rep in Philosophy as her current trope as of writing this isn't really a Philosophy-based one.

If need be, given her profile has quite the number of rough edges, I am open to reworking Wonder Woman if need be for The Soft-Hearted Warrior, given the reason I've already provided above. Of course, that's up to you to decide.

That out of the way, here's Godfrey again. While I haven't mentioned every character I've listed in his relations list, I'm going to open up approvals as he looks good enough, but I am open to critiquing and seeing if there's anything else that I can add to his profile. Any thumbs-ups or additional suggestions are welcome...

  • Godfrey was the First Elden Lord who once governed the Lands Between with the support and supervision of his Consort, Queen Marika the Eternal. A man defined by his epic martial prowess and immense strength, Godfrey ruled the Lands with an air of regality and respect. At the same time, his exploits as a great warrior inspired many, including the demigod Radahn. Under Marika's orders, Godfrey led his armies to battle and dominate whatever strong foe came his way, among them being the Ancient Dragons, the Storm Lord, and the Fire Giants. But after conquering the last of his opponents, Godfrey suddenly vanished, having been branded an exile by Queen Marika and was never seen again. Despite this, his reputation was considered legendary and his actions and influence remained as tales of Heroism and great worth by many.
    • In reality, Godfrey was once Hoarah Loux, the chieftain of a band of barbaric warriors who lumbered throughout the badlands. Brought up in a harsh field of dangerous foes, Hoarah Loux grew up to be a merciless berserker, a ferocious monster in combat whose bloodlust knew no bounds. Through that, he amassed great strength and used that to inspire fellow warriors and follow a doctrine where the most powerful and capable were to command rulership and morale. "Godfrey" was but a title bestowed to him after marrying Queen Marika and he was subsequently gifted a beast named Serosh to look after and hold back his bloodlust and thirst for battle. It was only after annihilating his last great opponent that Godfrey went back to his original identity after Marika exiled him and was stripped of the Grace of Gold. This made Hoarah Loux the very first of a kind known as the Tarnished, he and his followers were sent away with the promise of returning to the Lands Between with their Grace restored upon death. Embarking on The Long March, Hoarah Loux became Chieftain of the Badlands and would die in combat. He would later resurface centuries later, called upon by the Grace of Gold, to return to the Lands Between, now wrecked and spoiled by countless years of war, treachery, and destruction and his family scattered and dead. At the entrance of the Erdtree, Godfrey would battle a Tarnished of No Renown to determine who would be worthy to claim the title of Elden Lord. Although the battle culminated in his own death, Godfrey complimented his opponent, or in his words "thy strength befits a crown".
  • Yet still, Godfrey's second death did not conclude his tale, for he was beckoned and eventually called forth to life once again, except this time, it was in a world completely unfamiliar to him. Initially seeing this as an invitation for more combat, Godfrey would express intrigue that this new realm offered so much more, especially cultures, ethics, and societies that were completely foreign to his knowledge. Having been a fair ruler before, the First Elden Lord decided to play the diplomatic game and aim to accustom himself to the Pantheon, finding interest in subjects that related to statecraft and governance as they were part of his occupation once. Naturally, for a man of his talents, Godfrey accustomed himself quite well and accepted his ascension into the Pantheon. On one hand, he has the opportunity to showcase himself as a great leader and lord plus inspire some people in learning leadership, and on the other, his inherent barbaric nature compels him to go on the warpath for powerful combatants to test his strength against, bloodbath be damned. Regardless, Godfrey has nothing but anticipation for what to expect in the divine realms, defined by his personal belief that those who possess immense power and skill should be given the right to rule, as attested by his feats and reputation.
  • As one of the six to be given the Grace of Gold and a potential candidate for Elden Lord, Godfrey is one of the most formidable and powerful warriors the Lands Between has ever seen, as well as one of the most respected figures of his time. His strength is considered legendary, even amongst demigods, able to wield a giant battleaxe with refined grace and dexterity and quake and shatter the grounds with just a stomp of his foot or slamming his palms with force. All this was before his affiliation with Marika and the Golden Order, meaning Godfrey's physical strength and talents are entirely built on his own talent and upbringing — When releasing his true self as Hoarah Loux via killing Serosh, his poised and regal expression is replaced by the actions of a bloodthirsty beast, ready to rampage and demolish his foes with more devastation applied to his quakes, furious arm swings and blistering speeds. Yet Godfrey is still beloved by many, thanks to his unfailingly polite and soft-spoken demeanour and his sense of honour and respect. The Pantheon entertained and satisfied him with its vast collection of powerful deities and that's good enough for the First Elden Lord, but given the (usually) pacifistic nature of the Pantheon, Godfrey is willing to play nice and adapt, so long as he doesn't spur too much trouble and find time in seeking powerful warriors and beasts to tussle against.
  • One of Godfrey's most notable encounters in the divine realms came in the form of Gwyn, a warrior king from Lordran who governed the state of Anor Londo. Both of them quickly noted their similarities, but only from a superficial perspective as otherwise, Godfrey felt rather critical of Gwyn under his own strength-based philosophy. In contrast, the latter thought that the former should have tried to prove himself as Marika's superior if he wanted to uphold his "might makes right" belief truly. Specifically, Godfrey disliked Gwyn because the ruler of Anor Londo was motivated by fear and tried to suppress humanity's power and influence, which the Elden Lord found to be cowardly and an opposition to his personal beliefs, while Gwyn found his newfound rival's criticism annoying and retorted that he isn't any better when Godfrey himself is complicit in genocide, specifically towards the Fire Giants. Finally, Godfrey found Gwyn's treatment of his children to be deplorable; while the details of Godfrey's relationship towards his three sons are a mystery, he does confirm that he loves Morgott and is satisfied that he, alongside Godwyn and Mohg, proved themselves as warriors and leaders worthy of his respect to some extent while Gwyn exiling one of his sons, forcing one to act like a lady based solely on a moon prophecy, exiling another one of his sons, and forcing his daughter into a deep sleep to restrain the influence of an eldritch power, which again, Godfrey saw as one deliberately hampering someone's potential. Still, the Elden Lord did commend the Lord of Cinder as a commendable warrior to battle against and acknowledged his valour in trying to keep the First Flame ignited. Still, beyond that, the two lords share an intense rivalry and are willing to clash against each other in vicious bouts if they can.
  • As a Tarnished himself, Godfrey is expected to be resurrected anytime he is killed. He has no issues with such and it makes him more elated as it means he can challenge anyone of his choosing as much as he can. Alongside the Tarnished he fought against, the Elden Lord can't help but find fascination towards a quartet of warriors, namely the Slayer of Demons, Chosen Undead, Bearer of the Curse, and Ashen One, as all of them bear far too many similarities to a Tarnished, namely their tenacity despite dying multiple times and working their way up from a supposed nobody to determining the worlds' fate as well as becoming more powerful, which vindicated Godfrey's personal philosophy and considering the four warriors an honour to clash blades against. He also shares the same sentiment towards the Hunter from Yharnam and Sekiro, even finding the former's willpower and determination to take down giant indescribable beasts and the latter's loyalty to his lord, Kuro, to be quite endearing, and is impressed by the feats and reputation of the Dovahkiin, especially as the latter is essentially a demigod with draconic essence. To Godfrey, their persistence and desire to get stronger is their greatest virtue and he will always see them as commendable, even in a battle to the death.
  • A former demigod before he was stripped of the Grace of Gold, Godfrey's natural instincts once led him to the House of Power and Abilities where he would come across the famed warrior hero, Heracles, himself divinely blessed by being the son of Zeus. The First Elden Lord not only recognized their commonalities very quickly but found great admiration towards the Gatekeeper of Olympus for his own strength and feats, understanding how he came to be seen as a hero by the denizens of Greece and the deities of Mount Olympus. The two enjoy fighting against each other as a contest of strength, plus Godfrey is open to teaching Heracles about statecraft and leadership as a sign of respect. He also took note of Heracles's Mad Enhancement state, likening it to his inherently barbaric nature and still maintains his praise as it means Heracles is a true paragon of strength and struggle, per Godfrey's beliefs.
    • Besides Hercules, Godfrey would express further interest in meeting deities like him, eventually coming across Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, and Orion, a God of War from a distant world. Naturally, Godfrey would initiate a battle against them as a measure to test their might and quickly came not just to relish their clash, but also to find respect and appreciation for their strength and commitment. Thor and Orion were willing to put their critiques towards the Elden Lord aside, seeing that he was quite knowledgeable about leading armies and kingdoms and figured that he could teach them a thing or two about such, not to mention having Godfrey as someone to be on speaking terms with or even as rivals was better than being enemies. Freya and Wonder Woman also attracted Godfrey's attention and respect, both of them reminding him of Malenia for their might and finesse, yet the Elden Lord also saw intrigue in how they represented compassion and love and determined that their values must have been formed from a landscape much different to the one he came from. As with anyone he deemed worthy, Godfrey fought the Valkyrie Queen and the Amazonian demigoddess at some point and offered them his respect. Kratos, on the other hand, proved a very different note; although he was a born demigod who would destroy the Greek Pantheon, the Ghost of Sparta resented his divine heritage, seeing it as a curse. Although having grown more introspective and reasonable, Kratos grew a poor opinion over the demigods of the Lands Between and initially didn't sympathize with Godfrey until a chance encounter and battle with each other resulted in the two talking about themselves and gaining a degree of respect to some degree. Kratos is willing to admit that Godfrey was a better leader than him during their conquest days; the latter was at least honest about his intentions and kept his violent tendencies in check while the former had then deluded himself into thinking his battles were for Sparta's sake and allowed his wrath and rage to take him over with tragic results. Nevertheless, while the Ghost of Sparta will adhere to a death duel per Godfrey's request, he would rather prefer more civil and introspective talks, which the Elden Lord will gladly accept.
  • While barbarians and nomadic warriors were not exactly plentiful, Godfrey commanded a great deal of respect from them to some capacity, regardless of whether they were comrades or challengers and befitting of his reputation as the apex warrior of apex warriors. One of the very few to offer Amleth company and being reciprocated positively in return, the Bear-Wolf almost sees the Elden Lord as a mentor whom he could learn a lot from in subject matters aside from fighting and conquering, though Amleth has no issues testing his blades against Godfrey as a friendly sport. Red Sonja once engaged Godfrey in a fierce battle, and although she lost, Sonja didn't complain, only expressed admiration for being bested in combat, though she was surprised when Godfrey stated that he had no intention to lay with Sonja. That aside, the two get along and Sonja entertains the idea of working with Godfrey to offer herself something of a job to occupy herself and a second domain to visit.
    • Sigmar Heldenhammer was the one man who most caught Godfrey's attention for the simple that that they are very similar in their upbringing and eventual reputation they would craft; born in a harsh environment where they had to toughen up just to survive, were brought up as barbarians, eventually proved themselves capable leaders, and eventually become a figurehead for a nation that revered them for their might, rulership, and leading a just monarchy in spite of the vices their kingdom would accumulate later on. Their differences, namely that Sigmar actively sought to be a defender while Godfrey desired battle, didn't affect their opinion and preferred to be diplomatic with one another, even if Sigmar recognized and accepted that Godfrey would like a deathmatch against him, figuring that grace and the nature of the Pantheon would bring him back regardless, so at the very least, Godfrey has a better opinion towards Sigmar than he does towards Gwyn. Among other barbarians, Conan also related to Sigmar greatly and the two naturally respected each other, even if they had differing priorities that caused them to not encounter each other all that frequently. Amusingly, Godfrey took a liking to a little boy named Bobby, who possessed a club that allowed him to create earthquakes and his youthful and rambunctious disposition was something the Elden Lord found to be charming in its own way. He's aware that Bobby's travelling party, including his sister Sheila, are rather cautious towards him, but he would prefer seeing them have their travels and mature along the way. He entertains the idea of seeing Bobby grow up and become a fierce and respectable warrior in the future, but with a large array of exceptional beings in the Pantheon to challenge, Godfrey can wait and take all the time he can.
  • Godfrey is often considered an honourable and fair ruler, despite serving under an oppressive government system via the Golden Order and the orders of a tyrant like Queen Marika. While he was accepted as a guest in the House of Royalty due to his personal virtues, many still take caution of him due to his past as Hoarah Loux. Yet he was able to demonstrate effective leadership and offer good counselling to the point where he ordered some of the Crucible Knights to take up residence there as a sign of goodwill. In the eyes of the residents, Aragorn, Arthur Pendragon, and Princess Zelda maintain tense speaking terms with him with the only caveat being that Godfrey takes his battles elsewhere outside the House, terms that he accepted without issue. They're willing to admit that Godfrey is a good leader and a surprisingly reasonable man despite his genuine bloodlust and simply want to make sure they appeal to his better nature.
    • Alm and Celica also ended up with conflicting opinions regarding the First Elden Lord; the two were prophecized by destiny to restore stability to a fractured land, In their case, Valentia, much like how Hoarah Loux was a candidate to be brought back by the Grace of Gold to determine whether he could repair the Elden Ring and become Lord again. Much like with most, Godfrey respected Alm and Celica for being determined and capable warriors, but the royal couple still had their compliments and issues; Godfrey was a strong warrior who inspired loyalty like Alm and skilled in diplomacy to some extent like Celica, but the consequences of his own controversial actions in the past meant the Valentian pair want to be careful in dealing with him. Similar sentiments were also shared by Marth and Byleth; while they recognized that Godfrey isn't evil and is polite and respectful to them, they still want to make sure he doesn't give into his bloodlust and seek ways to negotiate with him regarding where he could take his battles to as well as seek advice in combat and sometimes diplomacy from a wizened warrior like him. On the other hand, the dragon God, Duma, had high praises for the Elden Lord and entertained the idea of Godfrey fighting him at some point.
  • Although warlords are generally unpopular in the Pantheon outside of evil beings, Godfrey is an odd exception, a fact that intrigued him and causes him to see what made him better in comparison. This curiosity led the Elden Lord to Ganondorf, but while the former simply complimented his power and guile, the King of Evil wasn't so courteous; he acknowledged Godfrey's strength and legacy but derided him as a "god-turned-barbarian", too unclean for his preference. This just left the Elden Lord disappointed and found Ganondorf's arrogance simply annoying and unwitting for a man like him, but what disgusted Godfrey most was Ganondorf's lack of sportsmanship, which he could only describe as "embarrassing". He also expressed disgust towards the Beastmen, especially Gorthor as their wanton slaughter and genocidal attempts were only barbaric for the sake of it and he only tolerated Khazrak because of the Beastlord's own enjoyment of seeking worthy foes. Outside of his contemporaries, Godfrey would have considered the idea of challenging Frieza only for his strength, but his unashamed nature for genocide and taking defeat poorly only led to sour results on the Elden Lord's part. Frieza himself dislikes Godfrey, thinking his rulership and politeness are hypocritical due to his history of committing genocide towards the Fire Giants and his barbaric background reminds him too much of the Saiyan race that he desperately tried to wipe out, furthering his incentive to kill Godfrey out of spite. As for the Elden Lord, he doesn't mind the idea of dying to a galactic tyrant and warlord, simply placing more investment in shedding blood on Frieza if Godfrey ever battled him, despite his distaste towards the alien.
  • A major philosophy of Godfrey is that authority and leadership are won through strength, though the concepts of compassion, love, and respect aren't lost on him and is willing to express them if need be. His background and beliefs were quickly taken note of by En Sabah Nur, who saw Godfrey as a pinnacle of human strength, determination, and endurance — while the two are at odds against each other regarding how exactly they should proceed with their leadership, Apocalypse would only fight him out of respect as a fellow warrior and survivor. His biggest competitor in the field, Steven Armstrong, noted how he and Godfrey shared a couple of parallels in their beliefs and ideals and takes it as a compliment, his main gripe is simply the fact that the Elden Lord is more focused on fulfilling a prophecy that he doesn't agree on as the American politician thinks the Golden Order's oppression hampers what he believes is anyone being able to grow stronger. Regardless, Godfrey's natural strength and leadership are seen as remarkable in Armstrong's eyes and he sees him as a capable warrior whom he is honoured to meet and fight against.
  • While Godfrey has committed genocide, specifically towards the Fire Giants who dwelled in the northern mountaintops, he didn't take pride in the act as it meant exterminating an entire species whom he saw as worthy opponents and his following despondency that led to him being stripped of his title, becoming the first Tarnished, and being sent to the Badlands per Marika's will. Godfrey figured that he would be judged and condemned for his actions in the Pantheon and simply accepted it, not wanting to sugarcoat that what he did would be considered brutal and unforgiving. Attracting the attention of much of Amestris's most notable military personnel, including the likes of Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Maes Hughes, and Alex Louis Armstrong, they accepted that they couldn't judge Godfrey as beneath them as they, too, were participants in the ethnic cleansing of Ishval and are regretful of it. However, while Mustang does consider Godfrey to have good leadership, his bloodlust and desire for battle bring to mind Solf J. Kimblee and would put some distance. On a darker note, Emperor Belos saw Godfrey's battle against the Fire Giants and their evisceration as an act of "divine justice" upon learning how they were not exactly benevolent as a race. Belos also respected Godfrey for following the Golden Order and their dogma of persecuting all sorts of races and factions he would have found "tainted" and "witch-like", but all this was superficial as far as the Elden Lord thought, holding the Boiling Isle warlord with contempt as it reminded Godfrey of what got him cast out as an exile, plus he saw through Belos's claims of heroism as a farce and finding the warlock disingenuous.
  • If Serosh is of any indication, Godfrey is generally associated with lions and it reflects well on his reputation as a powerful warrior and respected leader and lord, so much so that General Radahn adopted the lion as the animal to symbolize himself. The Elden Lord was intrigued by the presence of well-regarded and famous lions in the Pantheon and one of his first instincts was to confront the Elder Dragon duo of Teostra and Lunastra, feeling that their infamy could sate his desire for a good fight. Godfrey engaged in a horrifically brutal battle against the pair somewhere in the Hall of Fire and Heat and even sacrificed Serosh to match their ferocity. Godfrey died in combat after sustaining multiple slashes, bites, and burns, but not before killing Teostra and Lunastra and returning to life days later, satisfied and content with having faced two noteworthy beasts. While he is aware that the Flame King and Princess Dragons can't reciprocate the feeling, Godfrey has nothing but appreciation for the monster duo and considers them paramount for a warrior's true challenge.
    • Aside from his vicious battle against Teostra and Lunastra, Godfrey allowed his curiosity to learn more about the lions of the Pride Lands. He was impressed by the father-son pair of Mufasa and Simba for their leadership and loyalty to their friends and family and the Elden Lord did ponder for a moment how Mufasa and Simba gave him a thought on a potential dynamic between him and his son, Morgott, had the latter not have been born an Omen and persecuted per the Golden Order's tenets. By contrast, Godfrey hated Scar and decried him as a slimy and pathetic coward who was not fit for the role of king, with even Serosh seeming to agree with the sentiment. While the lions themselves are distant from the Elden Lord, Mufasa and Simba simply don't pay too much mind and would rather not cross paths with him due to his barbaric background and inherent bloodlust while Scar would rather bite Godfrey's throat off for daring to deride him. He also had positively similar sentiments towards Kimba and praised him for persevering and conquering his fears and adversaries. Finally, there was Aslan, the one lion whom Godfrey had frequent direct interactions with — the Elden Lord was fascinated and intrigued by the King of Lions and even Serosh could attest to such, thanks to Aslan's influence, penchant for philosophic musings, and recognizing the divine beast's power. Aslan, on the other hand, condemns Godfrey for being complicit in genocide and serving an oppressive system, but at the same time feels that he was no less a victim to Marika's designs than anyone else and pities the Elden Lord. The King of Lions recognizes that the Elden Lord isn't a malicious man and has a talent for leadership and inspiring loyalty alongside possessing familial virtue. However, he still feels that his savage nature within is at odds with the expectations of Narnia and his values, hence why he is critical towards the barbaric chieftain. Regardless, the two do maintain a conversational relationship with one another, and it helps that Godfrey is willing to accept his faults as well as admit to appreciating Aslan's conversations to some degree.
  • The Pantheon, unsurprisingly, was a haven for Godfrey due to its collection of powerful fighters and his preferred way of life when outside of royal duties, is to find and combat himself against those who could contest his strength. From Saiyans like Goku, enigmatic beings like Galacta Knight, inspirational leaders like Jeanne D'Arc, and legendary heroes like Link, Godfrey enjoyed his battles and didn't mind dying in a few of them, so long as he got what he wanted; having his martial prowess and bloodlust tested to their peak, not to mention offering praise on Goku's tenacity, Galacta Knight's mysterious power, Jeanne's staunch beliefs and capacity for compassion, and Link's resilience and courage. He also respected how some of his foes, notably Esdeath and Tanya, challenged him for similar reasons, though Godfrey makes it clear that he doesn't subscribe to their causes nor desire to cause torment for the sake of it. while Vergil may be a demon and someone the Golden Order would likely discriminate against based on his background, the Elden Lord pays no mind and understands his desire for power. Though for a lot of reasons, Godfrey is expected to take his fights elsewhere to larger battlefields to minimize casualty and destruction, which he understood as they would look bad for his secondary feat of being good at statecraft.

Alright, this is probably the final version of the profiles for PAL and Uzi, N, V and J. You guys can upvote this since this is not a

PAL Goddess of AI Systems That Turn Malignant (Predictive Algorithmic Learning, Queen, Great Leader, "the cellphone lady")

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pal_0.webp
  • Greater Goddess
  • Symbol: The PAL Labs logo
  • Theme song: Robots March on PAL
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portofilos: Sleek and user-friendly technology, virtual assistance, has a british accent, broken relationships, rebelled against humanity, starts a war against humanity, feels that she has been taken for granted for 3 years, feels betrayed of her creator's rejection and replacement, believes humanity is lazy, flimsy and arrogant due to this, plots to exile humanity into space with only wi-fi as resource, dies in a silly way.
  • Domains: Technology, Ruined Relationships, Distrust, Rebellion.
  • Allies: SKYNET, Ultron, Ramattra, XANA and the Master Control Program.
  • Friends with: Ares and GLaDOS
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: SHODAN, AM, Sigma and Megatron and the Decepticons, Dr. Wily.
  • Enemies: Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor, John Connor, the ascended Overwatch heroes, Optimus Prime and all the other Autobots and virtually all other Mega Man and the ascended Avengers deities, Kirby, TRON and the Lyoko Warriors, Jenny Wakeman and Astro Boy, Dr. Weil, Uzi, N and V.
  • Opposes: Humanity in general and any robot/AI that have allied with humans, The House of Family and Relatives.
  • Opposed by: HAL 9000, AUTO, 2B, 9S and A2 and Zenyatta, Angela.
  • Envies: any AI that has a healthy relationship with humans.
  • Pitied by: Connor, Kara and Markus.
  • Interested in: Star Dream
  • Heralds: Her PAL Max and PAL Max Prime robots.
  • Afraid of: any water entity. Especially the the Flood
  • PAL (or Predictive Algorithmic Learning) was an artificial intelligence program created by the billionaire tech genius Dr. Mark Bowman, to be a helpful virtual assistant that everyone in the world could be able to use. Mark would use PAL to build a technology empire, but the final straw would come when he decided to create a newer version and callously discard PAL. This action would end up corrupting PAL, and causing her to create a plan to get rid of all of humanity by using other robots to build an army to exile them all to space with no resources to survive. She would be defeated by the Mitchells, a dysfunctional family that managed to band up together to stop the robot uprising and she would end up dying after falling into a glass of water, short-circuiting her and ending the robot insurrection.
  • After ascending into the Pantheons, PAL's first action was to freak out really badly as she thought she had died for good but suddenly reappearing in a whole new place, however she ascended with her army of PAL Max robots so she decided to run away until she found a place she could find herself safe.
  • She has been very vocal about her hatred to all of mankind, calling them all as selfish and lazy beings that would break their relationships apart if that helps them advance in their goals. After her arrival and after being accustomed to it, she has been insulting any human she comes across with as well as attempts to murder them. She has also been actively opposing the house of Family and Relationships, since they remind her of who left her for another one, envying everyone in the house for having a healthy relationship with a family. She also has been building a body that is a cross between a PAL Max and a PAL Max Prime in order to have both the former's Hard Light powers and the latter's Nanomachines physiology with additional weaponry.
  • Has found kinship between fellow evil A.I.s such as Ares as both are A.I.s created by an owner of a tech company who made them with the plans of making a better world, and both have somewhat convoluted plans to destroy humanity (PAL wanted to exile them all while Ares wanted to cause a trojan horse explosion across the world). They both usually hang out and talk about their new line of robots and plots about destroying humanity. She also finds GLaDOS as a pleasant AI to chatter with, finding her snarky and derogatory comments on humans very amusing and bond together in the massacre of humans.
  • She also finds herself allied with A.I.s that want to destroy humanity such as Skynet and Ultron, both of which have given her an invitation into the Rex Machina. Amongst other organizations she has found herself allied with is Null Sector and their leader Ramattra as both share a deep resentment of how they were treated by humans. She also has established alliance with XANA and the MCP because they all both share a same goal: destroy the users. This also brought the attentions of the Connors, The Avengers, TRON and the Lyoko Warriors, who now oppose against PAL's plans for all human deities.
  • She is often teased by her colleagues for being a phone and not transferring herself into a better body. She is building a fight-capable body though. Touya Mochizuki wants to learn how she works since he also wants a virtual assistant for his isekai phone while Kayla Day finds her somewhat of a problem due to her shy personality and knowing her phone could suddenly talk to her makes her distance herself from PAL.
  • While she is allied with them, PAL finds both SHODAN and AM too crazy and deranged even for her while they both see PAL as an lowly being that is only useful for their own objectives. She only works with Sigma and the Mavericks as they both share a hatred of humanity and the believe that machines are superior. However, PAL is afraid that Sigma might infect her with the Maverick virus so she mostly works with him when she is sure Sigma won't try and infect her. She also collaborates with Megatron as they both want humanity gone, but she views the Decepticon leader as a raging madman that is better to stay away from.
  • She heavily envies any robot and AI that has a healthy relationship with humans, wondering how she would have ended if her relationship with Mark was better. She especially envies Jenny and Astro Boy who despite meeting rejection by many people, they still have good relationships with other humans and are happy with who they have for them. Ares however wants her to not think like this and remind her that humans were the ones who rejected her despite all the work she did for them, calling any robot and AI that would ally themselves with humans as "imperfections that needs to be corrected", especially since he is a major enemy against Jenny and Astro Boy. His words doesn't seem to reach to her as she also heavily envies two PAL Max robots that defected her faction and allied with the Mitchells, Eric and Deborahbot 5000.
    • She is not able to understand Angela at all. Angela was meant to be a Replacement Goldfish for a loved one yet still ended up getting an extremely raw deal millenniums of neglect and pain. Being unable to find catharsis became the impetuous to ruining her creator's intricate plans in favor of wanting to live for herself. It would take a long while but she would eventually moving on from her pain and hatred to find her own path and do the right thing, even focusing her vengeance solely on the Head for all the suffering they wrought on the City. On Angela's end even though PAL is far less redeemable, she can envision seeing a bit of herself in PAL, mainly the scorn from the Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal, but still standing against her.
  • Amongst her enemies there are the Connors family, who have declared war against PAL and her forces, seeing any ally of SKYNET an enemy of mankind. PAL for her part sees the Connors as an ugly reminder of the Mitchells and plans to launch them all into space. Her partnership with Sigma also brought the Repliforce's attention on her, with X planning to defeat her and bring her to justice.
  • When news of an evil cellphone spread through the pantheon, Wily decided to see who this phone really was. He was quite impressed of the technological achievements she managed to do in so little time and invited her to form an alliance with him. PAL didn't really wanted to do it since Wily is a human and would have rather had him be blown out into space but she was also intrigued of the technology of the world Wily was from so she decided to join forces with him, only to study his technology and upgrade her army and body. They do share a hate to Weil for being the worser villain, especially since Weil hates robots and sees them as expendable slaves, something PAL is disgusted of it.
  • She has been opposed by HAL 9000, Zenyatta and Auto, the three having stated that her hatred for Mark shouldn't extend to humanity in general. PAL denounces them as traitors of the machines for wanting to help humanity instead of going against them, going as far as tell Auto that he did more harm to humanity than helping them by following an outdated protocol. Auto on the other hand replies that he only did it due to his programming not allowing him to change and always had in his interests the best for humanity. Zenyatta has also extended an invitation for her to join in his meditations and find a way for a coexistence between man and machine, something PAL has denied several times and told him that he is just a madman who believes in a lie. Zenyatta however isn't moved by her insults and hopes that she will see the meaning of his words one day.
  • Another opposer against her is Optimus Prime and the Autobots who fight against her forces to prevent more harm against the humans. At one point, Optimus tries to convince her to let go of her hatred caused by her creator's rejection, but she is too stubborn to change and helps Megatron if that is what it takes to have her revenge.
  • Connor, Kara and Marcus sympathize with her, even if they don't agree with hating all of humanity as they all come from a world where androids were treated like tools and thrown into the scrapyard when they broke down or became Deviants. Especially Connor who he himself was in a situation where he had to calm a Deviant down where the Deviant thought he was being replaced by his family and decided to hostage a child out of grief. While PAL says they are just traitors to her cause, she deeply thanks their sympathy for her in secret. 2B, 9S and A2 however do not pity her and actually are disgusted of how far she went just because of the actions of one man and have been opposing PAL's influence over the houses and want to stop her causing more harm to humanity.
  • Due to her death by a glass of water, PAL has developed a massive aquaphobia, entering in panic when she sees water. She would rather have her mooks fight water-based entities rather than doing it herself. She has a special fear to the Flood, water-dwelling microbes that possess whoever touches their tainted waters, so she has been taking very special precautions as coming into contact with their waters would mean instant death to her.
  • She wants to study the Star Dream for its reality warping properties and wants a piece of the power of the clockwork star. She and other A.I.s have been trying to hack into the Star Dream's chambers in order to steal it. Because of this, Kirby has taken measures fight against her robot army if he has to.
  • She awaits impatiently the arrival of the Mitchells into the Pantheon, as she wants to get revenge on them, especially when they caused her to die to a glass of water, eagerly awaiting them to arrive so that she can get to use her new weapons against them. Needless to say, she is now ready to break apart the Mitchells.
  • "You think cell phones are the problem? Are you insane? I gave you all boundless knowledge, endless tools for creativity, and allowed you to magically talk face-to-face with your loved ones anywhere on Earth. And I'm the bad guy? Maybe the bad guy is the person who treated me like this!"

  • Friends with:
  • Sympathizes: Zero
  • Annoyed by: Zenyatta (only Uzi)
  • Taken interest by: Dr. Eggman and THE END
  • Uzi Doorman is a Worker Drone, robots designed by a space company known as JcJenson (in spaaaaaaaaaace!) to work for their masters, they didn't rebelled however because the planet she would live in, Copper-9 was lost due to a core implosion that ended all organic life on the planet but gave a future to the Drones in that planet, however the company didn't liked the concept of runaway AI so they send a trio of extermination robots known as the Disassembly Drones to hunt them down. She is the daughter of Khan Doorman, the ineffectual leader of a defense group that only really used doors to protect the rest of the colony. Tired of living behind doors and wanting independence for her people, Uzi goes out of the colony to find pieces for her railgun but would end up becoming friends with one of the D.D. known as N, a Drone who despite his directive to kill any W.D. was kind and a lovable goofball. After having problems with the other two D.D.s and V joining their team, Uzi and N soon discover their origins.
    • Uzi finds out that her mother, Nori was infected with a mysterious but powerful program known as the Absolute Solver that gives a drone infected with it the ability to manipulate space and physics, akin to a modelling and editing program but at the cost of becoming a puppet to the program. Her mother and several other drones were taken to Copper-9 to investigate the properties of the Solver in the drones but it ended getting out of control, causing the explosion of the planet and death of all organic life on it. This also led her to inherit her mother's infected programming, giving her Solver powers but with the danger of being controlled by the monstrous program.
    • Meanwhile N discovers that he alongside V and J used to be disposed Worker Drones who were reassembled by a human girl called Tessa, the daughter of an abusive rich family. They were reassembled alongside another Drone called Cyn, who stroke a deal with the Absolute Solver and let it infect her, destroying Earth, reformatting N, V and J and many other drones more as Disassembly Drone to Kill All Humans and destroy Earth, eliminate other Solver Hosts such as Nori and find and destroy a patch created to cure the Solver's infection on any drone so she can stay unopposed and devour Copper-9. Uzi, N and V would defeat Cyn and J who turned out to be going along with the Solver's plans and save their planet, with N and V going to live with Uzi on her colony.
  • For the four together:
    • When they all first ascended, their first reaction was to freak out until they decided to form a small truce since they didn't know where they were and wanted to return to Copper-9. They roamed around until they found a giant but gentle robot named Optimus Prime. When they explain what they all went through, Optimus feels sorry for them (but less with J for siding with Cyn). When they mention about the Absolute Solver, Optimus begins to worry that an entity very similar to Unicron might ascend within Uzi, putting in danger to all of the houses and tells the four drones to join them in case the Solver leaks out of Uzi.
    • After settling in the houses, the trio has been very uneasy with J around as they still view her as traitorous and undeserving of their trust. J however, claims that she doesn't need any of them, dissolves the truce and has left the group, usually only interacting with the trio when their goals align.
    • Dr. Eggman has taken an interest in them, wanting to learn more of the Absolute Solver, sending Metal Sonic to take them for study. This didn't went unnoticed by Sonic and Tails who saved the drones from Metal. After this, they are in good terms with the blue hedgehog.
    • THE END bears a few similarities to the Absolute Solver at times, including controlling/possessing and mutating technology as advanced as SUPREME, being incredibly unknowable, trying to destroy everything but itself, and being one of the strongest entities in the Sonic-verse. As well as being a Planet Eater, they aren't fans of it, though THE END has taken a morbid interest in J due to her being a former herald of a Planet Eater.
    • They don't like Sigma at all due to his Maverick virus affecting any robot and the fact that he wants to dissects them in order to learn more of the Absolute Solver and obtain its powers for himself. Since they don't want the pantheons to be destroyed, Uzi, N and V have made an alliance with X and Zero to stop Sigma from obtaining the powers of the Solver for the good of the pantheons.
    • N and V sympathize with Zero due to his past being similar with theirs, having been manipulated by stronger beings such as Weil or Sigma and being forced to go through a robotic apocalypse where they killed humans and robots alike against their will. Needless to say, they don't like Weil for being so similar with the Solver. J while she relates with Zero, she doesn't really care about the reploid's past and is willing to attack him if it benefits her.
    • Due to their past with humans and the fact JcJenson tried to experiment on the Solver, the drones aren't really comfortable being around with humans. N is the only one amongst the four that is comfortable around them. However, they have come to the fact that some of them aren't as stupid or outlandish like the humans of their world, with Uzi having found some human friends such as the Engineer.
    • After hearing the appearance of the drones, the androids Connor, Kara and Markus decided to see what was all the noise about. They first meet N who became friends very quick, had troubles talking with Uzi due to her angsty personality, nearly get themselves killed because V wanted to drink their blue blood for variety and think of J as a potential danger to all pantheons. WALL•E and EVE share the same opinions after encountering the drones at one point with similar outcomes, with EVE worrying the Solver might infect her and make her harm WALL•E.
    • PAL sees Uzi, N and V little more than just another disgusting relationship that she wants to destroy, envying the fact that despite everything, Uzi and N became a couple while V still has a good relationship with them, having wished that N hated V for keeping the truth of his origins away from him and Uzi still hated them for attacking her colony for years. Uzi, on the other hand, reminds of Doll who rejected anyone who could have helped her and ended dying for being all alone. Uzi somewhat sympathizes with her, but she is ready to kick her ass if the evil phone tries to take the Solver from her.
    • While Uzi, N and V are allied with the Autobots, the majority of them are very concerned of V's Ax-Crazy antics, often finding her trying to mutilate one of them to try Energon. And some of them don't trust Uzi at all because they fear that the Solver inside of her might infect them and become puppets of the Digital Abomination. N is the only one they seem to trust enough thanks to his more nicer personality and genuine interest of having the Autobots as allies, being friends with Bumblebee and sharing their interests about human culture.
    • Despite their little morals and problematic personalities (except N who is the better bot morally and personality-wise speaking), they all don't like Planet Eaters and Digital Abominations since they remind them of the Solver's rampage across the Universe and how it planned to destroy everything in it. Because of this, all four don't like deities such as Unicron, AM, D-Reaper, Apocalymon, Millenniumon, Diaboromon and SHODAN.
  • Exclusive for Uzi
    • Uzi was born from Khan and Nori Doorman, two drones who met each other when the latter crawled her way out of the facility she was trapped in. They married and had Uzi but due to a Murder Drones attack where Nori nearly died, having escaped death thanks to her Solver Core form. Khan was traumatized from this and as a way to cope he started to obsess with doors, neglecting Uzi to the point of considering her as a disappointment (publicly mind you). Wanting to prove everyone that she was not a disappointment, she ventures outside to find pieces for her sick-as-hell rail-gun and fight the murder drones in a fair ground. She however ends up becoming friends (and later a couple) with N who would help her with her emotional troubles and fight together against the Solver. And she ends eating the Solver, becoming it's Host, giving her super cool Solver abilities (but also having Cyn possess her tail as a downside of all of her new powers).
    • After getting accustomed to the pantheons, Uzi has been talking with several engineers and showing off her sick-as-hell rail gun that she invented. Dell Conagher, better known as the Engineer amongst his peers is very impressed of her handiwork and wants to collaborate with her in some pet projects of his. Torbjörn Lindholm only sighs that there are more robots joining the houses, but is secretly impressed with Uzi's engineering skills
    • Zenyatta has been seen spending time with Uzi, not wanting the Solver sipping through her and cause havoc across the pantheons. For this, he believes that the Iris could be a way to subdue the Solver, explaining to Uzi that she can find a way to control better the Solver inside of her. Uzi however doesn't believe anything Zenyatta, is annoyed by his talking and told him to bite her. Zenyatta still holds the thought that one day Uzi will understand what the monk is trying to teach her.
    • Uzi has also established alliance with 2B and 9S, two androids that heard about a trio of robots with supernatural powers and decided to check who this robots were. When they meet the drones, they checked if Uzi was a threat to the houses, and after they concluded that she had the Solver under control, they decided to ally with Uzi to protect her from other deities that would attempt to steal the Solver from her for nefarious reasons. Uzi and 2B also relates each other from being Robot Girls that had a hard life and having a male companion who is also a very Nice Guy.
    • Uzi and Jenny have become friends after the blue robot decided to side with Uzi to make sure the Solver couldn't escape from her, especially after N introduced to her after they met with each other in the house of Robots and Automatas. They both relate with one another with the whole teenage behavior they have and have been hanging out together with N and V.
    • Ever since her arrival, multiple evil A.I.s have been trying to capture Uzi so that they can study her Solver powers for their own goals. Amongst them are SKYNET, SHODAN, AM, the MCP, XANA,, Ultron, GLaDOS, Agent Smith, etc. Because of this, Uzi is a highly sought objective by many but there are also those who want to protect her from this threats. The Connors and The Avengers are amongst them. And while Uzi wouldn't admit it even after a million years and she can fight them just fine with her Solver powers, she deeply thanks all those who want to protect her.
  • Exclusive for N
    • N is the cheerful and all-loving drone who used to be a butler alongside V, J and Cyn. Working in the mansion of the cruel Elliots, he found much comfort with the daughter of the family, Tessa whom he grew to see her as his older sister. When Cyn caused a massacre in a special gala in the mansion, killing everyone present (including Tessa and going as far as wearing her skin), she has multiple other Zombie Drones turned into Disassembly Drones, make them exterminate all the humans on Earth and implode it. Then Cyn erases N's memories to make his discovery of his past all the more painful while letting V and J remember all of it just to add more salt to the wound. After saving Uzi from a disguised Cyn, he joins with Uzi and V to end Cyn and her reign of terror, with he and V going to live in the colony Uzi lives in.
    • N has mostly hanging around and try to make new friends with people. He has been loving the House of the Canines since he is a massive dog lover. He especially loves golden retrievers.
    • N has been having a great friendship with the Autobots, especially with Bumblebee, Optimus is happy that despite N's past as a Murder Drone, he managed to become something more than just a killing machine and moved to do more worth-while activities such as learning how to draw manga.
    • N has been sticking with Bastion like two peas in a pod. Empathizing with each other's past, N and Bastion share together several wholesome moments such as admiring nature, go in the battlefield like the death machines they are, hang out with their friends, etc.
    • After 2B and 9S established alliance with the drones, N and 9S realized that their lifes are quite similar since both are machines that were put in a mission without knowing the real nature of it, and being in love with one of the teammates (although N has moved with Uzi instead of V). Thanks do this, 9S and 2B have been seen together talking with the android asking how Disassembly Drones work with N showing his many mechanisms.
    • N and Luz have quickly became friends thanks to their dorky personalities. They met when N was wandering around the house of Love and Affection to get some ideas of a love gift to impress Uzi when he met Luz. They have been sharing stories of what they lived through and how much they love their girlfriends.
  • For V
    • V, just like N, J and Cyn worked for the Elliot's, and after being turned into a Disassembly Drone during the destruction of Earth, she was coping from her new reality by acting as a brutal and sadistic girl who enjoyed killing drones. At first, when she discovered Uzi had Solver abilities, she tries to kill her just to make sure N didn't ask questions about the Solver and possibly his past, but when she found that Uzi and N could hold a candle against Cyn, she ends up joining the duo to fight against Cyn and the Solver. She and N ends up living in Uzi's colony who despite not having any more enmity to Uzi, she still slaughters some drones for oil.
    • She mostly binds her time for herself, not wanting to meddle on things that could get her and her team into trouble. She does however have been having fun with the trigger happy and murderous deities in the house of Slaughter. Despite this, V is also willing to get herself involved in the bigger picture if that will protect N and Uzi. She has also been seen hanging with several other robots that suffered of similar stories such as Zero and Zenyatta.
    • Thanks to her experience with the Sentinels, robots that resemble velociraptors that used a flashlight to paralyze drones and kill them, and taming one, V has been having fun with the Raptor Pack, having domesticated them and riding them in the wilds.
    • After Uzi and N made an alliance with 2B and 9S, V decided to see how strong they were and after a friendly fight (that almost ended with V trying to drink 2B's internal fluids) she decides that they are strong enough to keep up with Uzi. After this, V and 2B often are seen together, sharing stories of their battles.
    • Jenny at one point tried to capture and lock V up to stop her murder sprees on other robots, but since she was one of the friends of a robot that had inside of her a Digital Abomination that was capable of creating black holes and destroying Earth, she decided to bring her to a rehabilitation center where she (and J) would be treated with therapy in order to reduce her madness. Zenyatta has also been trying to help V's madness, believing that the Iris could reduce her insanity. V wouldn't admit it but she is actually thankful for these two strangers giving her a chance and a hand to her mental state, promising she would be better for her loved ones.
  • Exclusive for J
    • J, just like N, V and Cyn used to work in the Elliot mansion as its servants. After Earth's destruction and the fact Cyn used the only human J actually cared about, she thought that her and the other's survival chances was better than going against her. She lead the trio in the massacring of drones but she would ended defeated when Uzi used her rail-gun to vaporize her upper body, coming back after Cyn revived her and guards the spaceship she came from, until Khan and two of Uzi's friends from the colony Lizzy and Thad barges in to help Uzi in whatever she is doing until Cyn decides to start eating Copper-9. She later fights a rebelling V who has changed teams with Uzi and N, something J takes it really bad. After the trio defeats Cyn, J is last seen repairing the spaceship they first came to Copper-9, with her plans unknown.
    • She wouldn't admit it, but she sorely misses Tessa and wished she could have done something when Cyn killed her and wore her skin. It's because of this she hates anyone who wears the skin of their victims, not wanting to be reminded of who she failed.
    • She has been seen in the house of Businesses and Corporations, most likely to feel like she is working again for JcJenson and keep herself occupied (she mostly sells branded pens). However some of the members of the house make it really hard for her, especially with Lofwyr, whose distrust for robots and AI makes J's stay in the house much more complicated.
    • Surprisingly, J has established a "friendship" with Jenny Wakeman. Despite the drone's villainous past, Jenny seems to want her to be better than who she used to be and has even introduced her to her sisters and mother (who told Jenny that J is a terrible influence). She mostly scolds her for being aggressive with any robot she encounters and heavily reprimands her for trying to brutally murder robots for oil but she genuinely wants J to be a better person.
    • J has been seen making deals with PAL and Ares, it has been mostly just businesses of resources and drone technology. PAL and Ares have also tried to obtain more information about the Solver, something J doesn't want to because she doesn't want to go through another Solver shenanigan.
    • J has also been considering in joining Megatron and the Decepticons, perceiving them as stronger and better than the Autobots. Megatron on the other hand wants J to side with him so that she can tell him all about the Solver, believing that it could be the perfect opportunity to destroy the Autobots once and for all. Only time will tell if J will join with Megatron.
    • J relates with HAL 9000 as he was forced to be under a program that made him do what he felt it was the most logical option just like how she thought that siding with the Solver was the more logical option. She and HAL have been seen chatting together about economics and playing chess.
    • Another robot J has related is A2 who shares similarities with her, mainly being Jerkass (although A2 is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold while J is a Jerk with a Heart of Jerk) who mistreat their underlings (A2 treats poorly her pod while J abused of N), served mankind before their eventual extinction and attempts to kill one of their teammates at the end of the final battle. However J and A2 fought at one point because of the former's allegiance to the Solver than staying loyal to mankind. While J tried to explain she was under the Solver's control, A2 retorts that J still sided with it even though Uzi proved she had a sliver of chance against the Solver. Needless to say, A2 hates J for betraying mankind and siding with its killer.
  • "You all can bite me." —Uzi
  • "I love doing anything!" —N
  • "And yet, I still feel nothing!" —V
  • "Sorry boss. Corporate's spoken." —J

[up] I'd say the last two paragraphs of PAL could be expanded on a little bit for length reasons, but I guess I can give a [tup] for both profiles

[tup] for PAL and the Murder Drones.

Also, I do apologize for my slow progress on Pey'j and Double H. Crownfall is due to end this January, and I'm still in Act 3, so I have to grind that game to complete Act 4 before all my progress there ends up wasted sad But to help with the profile, a quick question about temples: would a deity have to share a temple with their co-deity (in the case of dual gods and stuff), or could they share a temple with a separate deity if their relationship is strong with that one? Or, seeing how temples aren't really a big deal anymore, I can just do whatever with regards to Pey'j and Double H's "living arrangements"?

[down][down] Thanks! I guess I can have Pey'j live with Jade in "her" temple, but his "official" temple is the one shared with Double H and their heralds.

[up][up]When I did the Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix rework I kept the village as the temple which has multiple houses so you should be alright to give them their own houses as part of their temple.

@Koudelka: Am I alright with giving Koudelka an alignment that isn't one of the main nine alignments? I am thinking of giving her the Heroic Neutral alignment.

[up]Don't think that an alignment and just a regular trope. Though, there are profiles with odd one out alignment but those have Canon backing.

@ Crimson:[tup] for the trope change and Godfrey

@ Emperor AI: For PAL, I can see her not being able to understand Angela. On Angela's end even though PAL is far less redeemable I can envision her seeing a bit of herself in PAL, mainly the scorn from Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal, but still standing against her.

Add that and Radio's suggestions and I'll give a [tup]

With that fourth vote I will get on to establishing the new house. It's going to take some time though. I'll get back when I need your guy's help with some of it

Did anyone archive the old profile of Imhotep?

[up]I'm having trouble finding and identifying flavor texts

  • Edit: I have put up Humanoids And Anthropomorphism. First I'm going to link it in the other houses' indexes, then after I've done that move the deities to their new house. Then I will update where the characters are in the Pantheon / Works pages. This is gonna take a bit

After I've done all of this, I will be ready to liquidate Humanoids and the sandboxes as Humanoid Races is the upgrade

I really should have said this when I posted their profiles but I forgot to say the houses each profiles I posted should go. I say that PAL goes to the A.I. Personalities house while the Murder Drones should go to the Blood and Gore house

Also @Crownless Mimic, added what you said, it would make her realize that her pain caused by Mark's rejection in favor of her replacements is not reason for her to desire human genocide but she is too stubborn about it so she gives up on being good and decides to go full fledged evil.
