Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Jeremiah Parrish was a night-time superhero and an immigrant priest to Astro City. Active since the 1970s he was the secretive Confessor, used fear to scare the cruel and cowardly lot and had vaguely defined powers. Along with the Black Rapier, he's somewhat of a Batman analogue, though he's a Catholic priest rather than the secular Bruce. However his actions were ones derived from penance, and while he spooked many criminals with rumors of the paranormal these rumors were true. He arrived to the US in 1869 to help Cardinal Grandenetti build a magnificent cathedral and was seduced by a woman who turned out to be a vampire. Becoming one himself, he did for decades in the cathedral both out of persecution and wanting to avoid giving in to his vampiric hunger. The cross on his suit gives him pain as a penance and to prevent him from feeding. His new ward Brian Kinney would learn of this but he wanted to work with him as a superhero, eventually becoming the second Confessor after Jeremiah's death; he died exposing an impersonator of the mayor trying to outlaw superheroes as an alien invasion plot. While the religiously zealous Crossbreed knew he was secretly a vampire, they kept his secret as he was a good Catholic who's faith helped prevent him from drinking blood.
  • Jeremiah Parrish awoke after death where he witnessed the highest joy, The Love That Moves The Stars. He had made it to Paradiso...however, he was told that it wasn't quite his time, and there was a new place for him...the Trope Pantheon. Coming back to unlife, the Confessor was met with multiple heroes that work in Astro City, happy to see him again. While the Confessor initially thought the title of "god" was blasphemous, he managed to accept it when the God from God, the Devil and Bob said it's more a title than anything and he is still a good, faithful person. Jeremiah isn't sure what to think about the discrepencies of three different versions of God but he supposes that's more a theological question and quickly adapted to his new role as representing the Religious Vampire trope. One of the first new members to give him a helping hand as he got used to being alive again was Father O'Flaherty. Ulysses S Grant was interested to hear about the Confessor since he arrived in the US during his presidency.
  • Though his new hall of Vampires had many bloodthirsty members, it also had benevolent vampires like himself, which certainly made him feel better about his condition. However his return to the land of the (un)living meant that temptation to give in returned, and it's his cross to bear to never succumb to his bloodlust. Outside of the Hall of Vampires, one of his biggest vampire allies is Marceline. She was a vampire hunter that ended up being turned into one, but fortunately only needs to eat the color red. She's also half-demon, but is otherwise pretty chill. One of the more pleasent surprises present in one of his new haunts was another superhero vampire (well, Dhampyr) Eric Brooks, aka Blade. Unlike Jeremiah he's not restrained by the sun. The two somewhat of a "Salt and Pepper" dynamic going on. Together with Alucard they work to keep the evil members of the Hall of Vampires in check. The Confessor has suggested ways to help Arcueid resist the need to feed, though he'll need to research a bit more on how vampires in her universe work.
  • The superhero the Confessor has the most in common with, as already mentioned, is Batman. Outside of his own universe, he is one of his closest allies, and not just Bruce but Kirk Langstrom too, as he also struggles with (artificial) vampirism. That said, the alternate Batman has blood on his hands, though only the guilty, however he also tries his best to do the right thing and they have a mutual understanding. Bruce Wayne's ability to sympathize with the Confessor's struggles aren't just because he also can struggle to hold up his refusal to kill despite foes like the Joker really tempting him; in another universe, he also became a vampire after fighting Dracula. For a time he actually resisted, but he gave into his bloodlust feeding off the Joker and ultimately had to be put down. Jeremiah has been a vampire for over a century yet he remains pure, which Batman has nothing but respect for. The Joker would absolutely love to see the Confessor break his code, albiet not as much as he wants to see Batman snap. Out of Batman's rogues The Confessor is sympathetic towards Killer Croc and Mister Freeze even if he opposes their actions, particularly the former since he can understand being an outcast.
  • His herald serves remains as the second Confessor in the mortal world, though he's free to visit the Trope Pantheon and meet up with Jeremiah. Much as how he's a Batman Expy, Brian Kenny is an Expy of Robin, mainly Dick Grayson given his detective skills and popularity with women. He's fully human, but is able to use advanced technology to mimic the Confessor's vampiric abilities. Though he has his reservations on Jason Todd, Jeremiah Parrish is fond of the various people to have held the role of Robin. While not as close to the Shadow as he is to Batman, he counts him as an ally and he finds they have a similar aesthetic. However not all Batman equivalents are on good terms with Jeremiah. Black Noir kind of creeps the Confessor out, and as a hired gun of the corrupt Vought the Confessor thinks he has no right to claim the title of hero. And that's just the TV incarnation; comic Noir is a psychopathic nightmare. While he makes exceptions for Starlight and Queen Maeve due to, cynicism asides, actually aspiring to do good, he considers the Seven a disgrace. Especially Homelander, who among other things he finds his usage of America-brand Christianity for nationalist and self-serving reasons to be blasphemous.
  • The idea of a heroic vampire was something not lost on a number of residents of the settting of Shadow Hearts. Yuri Hyuga recalls working with a heroic vampire called Keith Valentine to save the world from the warlock Albert Simon. Keith's older brother Joachim was a vampire wrestler with the would be superhero identity of the Grand Papillion in the time before superheroes was a thing and fought against Grigori Rasputin. What Jeremiah thinks of Rasputin depends on the intepretation, but he remains mistrustful of "Russia's Greatest Love Machine" and discourages his proclivities. The Confessor is interested in meeting Keith one day and he's decided to go along their adventures in saving the day. He's become interested in Anastasia knowing her abilities as a mage in that universe, softly musing that had he taken initiative and made a trip to Russia he could've met her. Peter Parker mused about it, being reminded a little bit of Morbius the Living Vampire who also struggles with his vampiric (OK psuedo-vampiric) nature. The Confessor has a liking for the web weaber, due to his Hero with Bad Publicity status.
  • In another universe also part of Image Comics, he met Omni-Man. Omni-Man seemed like the Superman Substitute of his world, only to have been a Vlitrumite agent preparing the Earth for invasion. However Humanity is Infectious and he came to change his views on mankind, eventually redeeming himself. Jeremiah has a difficult time trusting Nolan Grayson, additionally noting that one of the casualties of the Guardians of the Globe was a Batman Parody called Darkwing. Omni-Man understands why the Confessor doesn't trust him but appreciates he's doing good. The Confessor isn't ready to trust Omni-Man yet, but he of all people should understand Nolan's desire to atone as genuine. His son Mark is an outright ally of the Confessor, though personally they aren't too close. Another superhero-adjacent group that the Confessor has a difficult relationship with is the Boys, being the pantheon's Cape Busters, however while they don't have the best relationship with genuine superheroes they do recognize actually good supes. The exception is Butcher, who doesn't make the Confessor an exception to his "kill all supes" plan.
  • The existence of multiple literal religious pantheons is something he's trying to rectify with his Catholic belief system, but he remains dedicated to his faith. Jeremiah is far from the only superhero heavily defined by his faith; Nightcrawler is another case of a Dark Is Not Evil religious superhero, and Daredevil is a dedicated Catholic. While his status as a vampire isn't a secret in the Trope Pantheon, it doesn't hurt his standings in the House of Religion and Faith, at least not with the tolerant, and he works well with most priests. One of the younger members in his hall that he gets along with a lot is SCP-166/Epon, who's in a similar boat as an...let's just say unconventional being to be religious. In her case, a pagan demigod that's a good Catholic who's father may be Satan...though really, who can really say with Dr Clef . The Confessor is fascinated by the existence of those with a wicked destiny that choose to do good like Hellboy.
  • He has a bit of an issue working with Garterbelt mind you, due to his...questionable interest but that's to be expected given how the irreverent tone of his series contrasts with the Confessor. He's in regular conflict with Mozgus and Frollo for their abuse of religious doctrine to justify atrocities, while they think he's an abomination due to being a vampire specifically. And don't get him even started on YHVH or Chuck Shurley. He refuses to believe they are an incarnation of God, simple as that. Jeremiah Parrish may not be the friendliest of guys, but he lives up to the virtues of the faith and doesn't tolerate hypocrites, cruel zealots and the self-righteous. Meridia and B.B Hood regard the Confessor as an abomination because he's a vampire and member of the undead. Upon some research, the Confessor learned that Molag Bal is responsible for vampirism existing in his universe via the first act of rape. As such a purely evil being who relishes in getting people to commit irredeemable actions, the Confessor hates him far more than even his persecutors.
  • Don't get him started on the demonic residents either. Considering he's a vampire he does accept there are demons that are actually good (or at least neutral), which admittedly clashes somewhat with his religious beliefs but with his own status and love and forgiveness as key tenants of Christianity he'd be a Hypocrite for falling into Fantastic Racism. He cites Sparda as someone who changed his view on demons being Always Chaotic Evil. However there are plenty of demons and evils that fit the stereotype, making them natural enemies of the vampiric priest. Damien Thorn, being. Pretty much the only version of Satan he doesn't feel contempt on is the one from South Park...though he's really not sure what to think of him. That Satan is very much a Punch-Clock Villain and has a soft side, having his own personal issues and dramas like any normal human. Some based off but not actually the Devil like Griffith, who betrayed his humanity in the worst ways possible, earn his contempt as much as Dis himself.
  • If there was ever a deity that is the complete opposite of the Confessor, it would be Dio Brando. Another 19th century vampire, Dio was a terrible person that rejected his humanity becoming a vampire. He embraces being an evil bastard with no morality whatsoever, seeing himself as one of "the evil elite". In short, he's as far from the penitent Jeremiah as possible. There are many vampires that the Confessor is enemies with, but he doesn't hate any of them as much as he does DIO. This hatred is only fueled by Dio's ambitions for "Heaven", as the idea that something so sacred to him would be perverted at the hands of something so evil sickens him. The Confessor puts himself through great pain to be a good man, yet there are plenty both vampire and otherwise who embrace the monster they become, such as Carnage or Millennium. It's these kind of villains who the Confessor opposes the most passionately. On a related note, he's disgusted by Voldemort most of all for defiling his own immortal soul in order to tie himself to the land of the living.
  • Interestingly Dio's greatest acolyte, Enrico Pucci, is a priest. Pucci sincerely believes in the idea of "Heaven" as a peace of mind where everyone knows their fate. To the Confessor, this is as blasphemous as Dio's overt villainy as control and knowledge over fate and Heaven is something God alone should possess. His condemnation of Pucci was scathing, saying while his past explains why he would want control over fate it can never excuse his actions and the two must be stopped at all costs. With his hatred of Dio and Pucci, this eventually led him into contact with the Joestars, particularly Jonathan. Since he's a vampire he can't use Hamon, but he still wants to study it and have his successor learn about it. The Confessor has joined up with users of Hamon, Buffy and friends, and the Belmont clan in order to fight evil vampires who have no problem with drinking blood remorselessly. Asides from just vampires, he also fights other monsters alongside the Winchesters.
  • He's inevitably butted heads with multiple Draculas, though not all of them; the incarnation from Hotel Transylvania drinks blood but only animal blood, and he offers sancturary for Benevolent Monsters. There's also the one that goes by Alucard, however the Confessor thinks he's too violent and only really works for him as he's technically on the side of good, using his power against the forces of darkness out of the Hellsing Organization. He doesn't have any problems with Seras and is fond of her, though. Another vampire he has issues working with is the Vampire King, as the Vampire King has a checkered past and the rest of the Vamps are unrepentent, however the Vampire King ultimately wants to break the cycle and fine peace. They like to discuss philosophy together but Jeremiah doesn't trust him. The original Vlad the Impaler likes Jeremiah Parrish for his dedication and how his faith has helped him not succumb to his vampirism, though given his own Knight Templar actions and notoriety Jeremiah isn't sure if he'd ever want to work with him.
  • There are some vampires that aren't as bad as Dio or Count Orlock, such as the dignified Vlad von Carstein. The Confessor still (not unfairly) sees him as an evil being that must be stopped, however he begrudgingly admits that he has enough Evil Virtues and competence that he will work in an Enemy Mine situation against his far worse sons Mannfred and Konrad von Carstein. Like Dio the two are naturally sociopaths so being vampires effectively gave them superpowers, so the Confessor sees them in a worse light than Vlad, since he does have good intentions for the Empire. Of course, we all know the saying about "the road of hell" and all that.

  • Madder Red was the most infamous villain in the history of the city of Bedlam. A prolific mass murderer and lover of ultraviolence, he had no restraint to who he'd kill and a theatric sadism testing the limits of human dignity with wanton acts of mass-murder and chaos (and a helluva lot of crass jokes at his victims' expense). He was the Arch-Enemy to the First, The Cowl of the setting. He was captured by a Psycho Psychologist who was working for an unknown group that spent 12 years trying to reform him...and if "reform" you mean 12 years of psychological conditioning, brainwashing, torture and even brain surgery. Add in the pet affection experiments and violence tests and this Behavioral Conditioning recreated his personality as Fillmore Press, a violence-averse pacifist. Fillmore wants to make up for what his past identity did, becoming a profiler going after psychotic murderers. Having been before his conditioning he knows exactly how they think. Unfortunately there are some madmen out there who want to see the old him return, which terrifies him.
  • Fillmore Press's arrival to the Trope Pantheon was something he requested after hearing about a project that the Grand United Alliance of Evil was working on; "Operation Re-blackened Heart". Using the "small-fry" Suguru Kamoshida as a guinea pig, it was a project to restore the original evil nature of those that were forcibly turned to the side of good. Fillmore was terrified of this because his original personality, Madder Red, is a Complete Monster that's killed thousands. While Kamoshida regards his heart being stolen as a Fate Worse than Death due to living with the emotional and social consequences of his actions, Fillmore Press actually aspires to be a good person now and he sought after both the Phantom Thieves of Heart and the Indigo Tribe. He wants their help so that his old self never resurfaces, and to use his unique knowledge of how psychopaths think to aid the forces of good. Iroque willingly gave him an Indigo ring as while he's not an official member of the Indigo Tribe, the ring is a deterrent against Madder Red from resurfacing. His primary objective in the Trope Pantheon is to stop "Operation Re-blackened Heart" from making any serious progress.
  • Fillmore Press is hardly the only individual in the Trope Pantheon who had his personality reshaped. Winson and Julia were tortured and brainwashed to fit into society, except the key difference is that Madder Red was a total psychopath while the "society" the two were forced to fit in was a brutal dictatorship, thanks to O'Brien. While what happened to him was unethical at least there was an argument that it should've been done as Madder Red would never reform of his own free will, and Bedlam is not a Dystopia; Fillmore hates and fears the government of Oceania, and would rather help Winson and Julia fight against it. He is also not the only case of Behavioral Conditioning; Alex Delarge was at least half as brutal as Madder Red but being put through The Ludovico Technique it made him violent averse and reformed...except kind of, not really. It's more he was rendered incapable of acting upon his violent impulses than having them gone, and the closest he gets to reforming is simply getting bored of crime. Fillmore Press sees a lot of parallels between the two of them, with the one major difference being Fillmore actually gained a sense of guilt for what he's done. He's not sure what he should think of him yet because of their similarities. On a lighter note, Pacifica Northwest was a victim of Behavioral Conditioning by her parents as a means of control, but broke out of it. Given how awful they are, Fillmore is more likely to root for her.
  • He's aware of the First's similarities to Batman, and he's quite interested in the Caped Crusader. The World's Greatest Detective has a laundry list of rogues with psychological and pathological traits that a profilier like Fillmore Press would be good for. Bruce is kind of uncomfortable with this for a couple reasons. For one, he's very much against the idea of Heel–Face Brainwashing and still upset by the events of Identity Crisis, and for the other, Madder Red was Practically Joker. He does know that Fillmore Press genuinely wants to help, and will accept it, he just has issues trusting him especially since the potential for the old personality to resurface is still there. Because of how they were similar Fillmore is using his skills to figure out the Joker's latest schemes. While he has a more difficult relationship with the prime Batman, Fillmore Press is outright allies with his Gods and Monsters equivalent Kirk Langstrom. This is because Kirk struggles with a sort of vampiric hunger and is more understanding of Fillmore's struggles, since he doesn't have a Joker to compare Madder Red with.
  • While he would rather focus on trying to the Bat's moral code like he often does the Clown Prince of Crime thinks it might be fun trying to bring Madder Red back, even if temporarily given the insurances Iroque and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts gave him. Also, he's curious as to what Madder Red would do in a setting with more theatrical villains and if he could adapt. A number of other supervillains want to turn Fillmore Press back to Madder Red, a ploy Fillmore is well-aware of. The comic's second Arc Villain Mr Pixel was an admirer who believed in freeing people from the constraints of reality with a variety of atrocities, and trying to get Fillmore to resort to murdering him in order to bring his past self back. The Batman Who Laughs thinks it's not enough to bring Madder Red back; he wants to break Fillmore by getting him to willingly embrace his old personality while retaining what skills being a functioning member of society gave him so he might become more effective than ever. Fillmore Press thinks of him as a sort of parallel as they were forcibly changed into a moral inversion of what they used to be and ended up embracing that fact, though the Darkest Knight laughs at such comparison as he feels far more liberated and has ambitions to evolve far beyond the reactive Batman he used to be long ago. Junko Enoshima and Cletus Kasady want to see Madder Red return as he's the kind of psychopath they'd love to bring misery to others with.
  • The other Arc Villain he helped deal with was Archbishop Walton. A self-righteous zealot he was ousted for a series of abuse cases with young boys and tried to get revenge by brainwashing abuse victims into going on killing sprees. That kind of self-righteousness is something Walton has in common with Frollo...though at the very least, Frollo isn't a pedophile. Frollo believes that Fillmore Press is a ticking time bomb for an unstable lunatic, telling him he's still going to Hell for what he did as Madder Red. Reverend Garterbelt has argued otherwise, saying that the Madder Red personality is gone and God will only judge him for what he did as Fillmore Press. Fillmore appreciates the sentiment, but he's distrustful of Garterbelt because he's a pederast, though as crass as he is and questionable interests aside he is on the side of good. In fact, he's on his own redemption path; he used to be a violent criminal that was given a Mission from God, living since the prehistoric era as The Atoner. Due to his experiences with the Pedophile Priest, he's not a fan of Humber Humbert or how he tries to play himself off as more sympathetic than he actually is.
  • Within the Trope Pantheon Fillmore has been going after a number of exploitative psychologists due to what he underwent in the past and that worry that kind of trauma might be inflicted on someone that definitely doesn't deserve it. Hugo Strange and Scarecrow are thinking of teaming up for a bit so they can better understand Fillmore and the radical change in his personality. Batman managed to rescue Fillmore after some fear toxin experimentation, who later recalled while his dark side didn't re-assert itself he did see a hallucination of Madder Red along with psychopaths like the Joker and Carnage cheering him on that he's happier with them. Angus Bumby just disgusts Fillmore Press as he uses his position to traffick girls, while Dr Herman Carter interested in experimenting on him further to understand how his mind thinks. Dr Carter wants to figure out how to streamline the conditioning he went through in hopes of "reforming" patients, and by "reform" he means "lead to a personality he agrees with more".
  • Speaking of Identity Crisis, the experience he went through caught the attention of Dr Light (the supervillain one, Arthur). While what happened to him didn't reform him, it made him inept and much less dangerous. However if Madder Red knew what he was like he'd likely see him as still pathetic bragging about what made him infamous. Fillmore Press considers Dr Light going back to "factory settings" as further justification for what happened to him, even if there are only a few he'd wish what happened to him onto others. The Photon Felon's involvement with "Operation Re-blackened Heart" alongside the Purple Man is what makes him Fillmore's enemy. While it's pimarily one-sided since the latter is way too powerful for him to deal with and doesn't care what he thinks, Fillmore opposes Griffith as he sees him as somewhat of a Foil. While Fillmore had empathy forced upon him, Griffith willingly chose to void his empathy and humanity to become Femto.
  • The Madder Red persona remains in the past for Fillmore Press, but the thing he fears almost as much as reverting to his "factory settings" is for Madder Red to come back as a Split Personality. There are a fair number of deities who deal with a good (or at least neutral) and evil personality, sometimes due to natural DID like Harvey Dent and sometimes due to more otherwordly effects like Mister Negative. When it comes to these deities, Fillmore is naturally able to emphasize with the good alter and opposes the evil one alter on principle. Though unlike some of his new rogues gallery none are all too interested in bringing Madder Red back because he was a totally Ax-Crazy lover of ultraviolence that they would find unappealing as a partner and a source of unwanted chaos. Fillmore is also hoping he'll never have to deal with Johan Liebert or Hannibal Lecter. They may be completely human (I mean, Johan can be questionable at times) but they are excellent at psychologically breaking people and they would likely jump at the opportunity to analyze him. He's also afraid of Arael due to having the power of psychic Mind Rape, and God only knows what that would do to him. Of course, it's not like the Angel has a reason to after him, so it's more a general phobia of Arael that Fillmore Press has. Despite his history with psychologists he does respect legitimate shrinks that actually want to help like Freud and Fraiser Cane, and is considering booking a session with them. As a profiler Fillmore Press has a working relationship with ascended detectives, particularly fellow profiler Agent York.

[up] One of Jeremiah Parrish religious allies is Father James O'Flaherty who went on an adventure with his allies Koudelka Iasant and Edward J. Plunkett. After the adventure Koudelka and Edward would have a son called Halley who join Yuri Hyuga, Alice Elliot, Mata Hari, Zhuzhen and the Vampire Keith Valentine to save the world from Albert Simon. Yuri would join forces with Anastasia. Keith's older brother and five others to save the world again.

Basically Koudelka and Edward would be his allies too.

Evaluation Mode (Accepting Thumbs)

As promised, here are the sandboxes for the Turns to Good and Turns to Evil Halls. Unless there is anything else I'm missing, I'm ready for these to be approved. Just to note, once these are established then Alignment Changes will be disambiguated, and any member of that house not a part of the two sandboxes listed above will be moved somewhere else, specifically Chirin to Tragedy and Despair and John Wick to Killers and Assassins.

[down][down] Done.

I am going to take a break from the Pantheon for a few days because I am sick of trying to find and correct posts that point to the wrong house now that I have created the new house in the list of gods and have decided to take a break to avoid burn out.

I've got 3 upvotes for my Hall. I wanted to do my self-imposed rule of 4 upvotes for immediate ascension and wait three days with 3 upvotes, but I am going to be quite busy for the next few days and might not have time for this again for some time, so I'll just get the Houses initiated now.

Alright, I've gotten a very rough draft for Pey'j and Double H written out. And as per my new method for "not getting burned out", I'm limiting any interactions/relationships to those that any of you recommend first (barring a few extremely obvious ones, or just too compelling to ignore). To that end, here are some relations/interactions I'm looking for:

For both-

For Pey'j-

  • Pigs! Preferably humanoid, but I think Pey'j could also get along with less anthropomorphic pigs (or particularly dislike the evil ones).
  • Other engineers and/or mechanical geniuses, especially of the "American South" kind (If mainly cause Pey'j speaks with a Texan accent; it's not confirmed one way or another if he's actually from the American South). Bonus points if they uses wrenches as weapons.
  • Other leaders of rebellions
  • And of course, other Honorary Uncles, or at least surrogate uncle/father figures, in light of how crucial the trope is to Pey'j's character.

For Double H-

  • Space Marines! Double H may be more of a parody of one, but his actual personality is serious enough to converse with all but the most grimdark Space Marines maybe.
  • Those who help others out of high gratitude for saving their life.
  • Anything related to the trope "Big Book of War", since Double H is very into his world's equivalent to one.
  • Although probably a bit of an extreme way to describe Double H's departure from the Hillyan Army (as they were never bad so much as they were supplanted by the Alpha Sections and forced into inaction), other deities who defected from decadence would probably make for good interactions/relations.

Aaand I think that's all I got for now. Of course, feel free to suggest any other interactions/relationships based on elements of Pey'j and Double H that I probably didn't list. And suggestions for Followers and a High Priest are very welcome ^^ Now then...

  • A pig hybrid (sus sapiens) engineer and a human (homo sapiens) soldier-turned-resistance agent respectively, Pey'j and Double H are Jade's loyal companions who helped her throughout her journey to defeat the Alpha Sections and the DomZ. Before becoming Jade's "uncle", Pey'j was an adventurer of sorts who worked with Jade's parents until trouble with the authorities forced them to separate. Entrusted with Jade's care, Pey'j escaped to the peaceful mining planet of Hillys and started a new life with his surrogate niece: raising her happily in their own lighthouse home on a small island. Even when the DomZ started their war on Hillys not long after the move, Pey'j was able to keep Jade hidden and safe long enough for her to become a young woman, whereupon she started her own photojournalist business, "Jade Reporting", and also converted their lighthouse into an orphanage to provide shelter and care for the children whose parents were taken by the monstrous aliens. Both endeavors which Pey'j directly supported in between his own work as an engineer. As for Double H, he was a native Hillyan who worked as a sargeant of the Hillyan Army. When the Alpha Sections moved in shortly after the DomZ began attacking the planet and forced the Hillyan Army into complacency, Double H smelled foul play and left the army to join IRIS Network, an underground rebel organization that (correctly) believed the Alpha Sections to be collaborators for the DomZ. Double H would work as IRIS' field operative and reporter when, during an infiltration of an Alpha Sections facility, Double H got caught and subjected to a DomZ torture device. Were it not for Jade's timely rescue, Double H would've succumbed to the torture, and since then he became a staunch ally to Jade.
  • Pey'j and Double H were just drinking at the Akuda Bar one day, to take a break from rebuilding the lighthouse home alongside Jade, when she came up to them with curious news; having recieved an Mdisk from an anonymous source that contained coordinates to a spot just outside of Hillys' orbit, and a message for Jade to go to those coordinates with Pey'j and Double H in tow. Pey'j was suspicious as to the nature of this Mdisk and figured it was a trap of some sort, while Double H thought it was some sort of threat the three had to tackle. Regardless of what was true, the two went along with Jade in the "Beluga" (Jade and Pey'j's spaceship) to the coordinates of the Mdisk and the three watched with awe and confusion as the star-lit void of space seamlessly transitioned into an ethereal world of varying landscapes across the horizon, as well as gates and portals scattered around. Upon landing the Beluga, Jade, Pey'j, and Double H were greeted by the locals of this strange 'planet' and then escorted to a grand temple on the other side of the area they landed on, wherein the three were to be taken to a courtroom. There, Jade, Pey'j, and Double H were informed that they were within the Pantheon, a realm of deities that is connected to all realities in existence, and the 'Court of the Gods' were the ones who sent that Mdisk, having heard about the three heroes of Hillys' explots and deemed them worthy of ascension for differing tropes. With Pey'j and Double H, the two were considered to be good representatives for the trope, "Older Sidekick", as both act as subordinates to Jade despite being much older than her: Double H being in his mid/late 30's to Jade's early 20's, and Pey'j being in his 50's at least. Double H and especially Pey'j were confused by this revelation, thinking they were dreaming or something, but after Jade was able to convince them that this was not a dream, the pig man and ex-soldier excitedly accepted their godhood by shouting their respective catchphrases: "Chili Con Carne!" and "Carlson & Peeters!"
  • It should go without saying that Pey'j and Double H are the closest of allies with Jade. Pey'j and Jade are practically "father and daughter", even if they consider each other to be more "uncle and niece", while Double H is still fiercely loyal to Jade for saving his life from the DomZ torture device, in addition to them bonding even further over the course of their adventure. The fact that they both ascended to the Pantheon from their companionship with Jade only ensures that Pey'j and Double H will always be by her side, or at the very least will be there to help her whenever she needs any. Either way, Pey'j and Double H form an incredible trio with Jade.
  • Upon ascending, both Pey'j and Double H decided to bring the IRIS Network as their heralds: Hahn, Meï, Nino, Peepers, and Ming-Tzu. And on this note, Pey'j and Double H had the Akuda Bar (wherein the IRIS Network HQ was hidden) become their temple with all the same amenities as the real deal, plus more. Although Pey'j spends the majority of his time within Jade's temple since it's his and Jade's lighthouse home, which contains his workshop. And as far as Pey'j is concerned, the IRIS Network are more Double H's heralds than his own as he's as much a guardian to the Lighthouse Children (Jade's heralds) as Jade herself. Deities who know of Pey'j's secret remark on the irony that he, the actual leader of IRIS, doesn't view them as heralds as much as he does the orphans under Jade's care.

Great! The Halls of Turns to Good and Turns to Evil have now been established. I'll be correcting the indexes and directories, and I'll try my best to correct any green-links in my spare time, though I do think I will need help in that regard as there are currently 356 pages that link to Alignment Changes.

EDIT: House indexes should now all be corrected.

@Kanine

For Pey'j, Porco Rosso is a man who was cursed into becoming an anthropomorphic pig. Napoleon is a tyrannical pig who learned how to walk bipedally. The Engineer and Sandy Cheeks are also southern fried geniuses.

For Double H, Sun Tsu wrote the Art Of War. Master Chief is a Space Marine.

For Pey'j, The Piglins are a race of gold-loving pig people, albeit generally aggressive towards anyone not wearing gold. Wilson P. Higgsbury has experience dealing with semi-civilized pig people while surviving, they're generally docile unless provoked.

Evil aliens would be their prey. The Mars Attack Martians, the Metal Slug martians, Black Doom and the Black Arms would all be enemies.

[down]Fine by me, just keep Goku, Vegeta, and Spawn as enemies.

[up]Speaking of Black Doom, I think he could do with a rework. I am interested in doing so, but I won't actually tackle it until after Christmas because I want to wait for two months after Shadow Generations

Regarding Aladdin from Magi from a few days ago, while I don't know enough to rework him, Magical Barefooter isn't taken.

@KaoticKanine: While (nominally) a villain, Red Menace of L.O.S.E. is a soft bruiser but can sometimes be boisterous, similar to Kronk. The Ur-Quan Kzer-Za are an alien race who notably tortured themselves to escape mind control from the evil Dnyarri, but it also contributed to them deciding to enslave everyone else to prevent anything else from enslaving them. Lacus Clyne was a rebellion leader involved in a revolution against her own country's leader. Zapp Brannigan made his own (very bad!) Big Book of War.

Penelope Mouse is currently in three Halls: Turns to Evil, Traitor Archetypes and Tainted Friendship. As a deity can only be in two Hall pages max, she needs to be removed from one of them. Any ideas? I would go with removing her from Traitor Archetypes as her trope Evil Former Friend has stronger connotations of friendship and villainy to me than betrayal.

@KaoticKanine: Sus and Homo should be capitalised. Also, Peppa Pig is an anthropomorphic pig.

Beasts and Fauna is another house that has a lot of halls. I wonder if it'd be a good idea to make a House of Mythical Creatures? Or would it just strip down the House of Otherness too much? Also, the difference between Fantastical Beasts and Legendary Beings is ill-defined. At the very least, the Hydra could be moved to Draconic Beings.

[up] Maybe Draconic Beings (and maybe Fantastical Beasts, though I'm unsure on that one) can be moved to Otherness? Beasts and Fauna feels like it's mainly about real animals, which dragons certainly aren't. Though, if that Hall does get moved, I wonder if we'd have to find a new Guardian for Beasts and Fauna since Io, Bahamut, and Tiamat have Dragon Tropes and thus move with the Draconic Beings hall.
