Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@lawliet: All unicorn and alicorn characters from My Little Pony have telekinesis in their spell list, among several other spells. Rarity makes up for lack of power with refinement and precision, able to levitate multiple objects in different directions.
And Littlepip has an Crippling Overspecialization in that spell (and is both powerful AND refined at it) because she literally can't learn anything else barring some Blood magic from a forbidden book, but she barely uses those.
TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseI'm decently happy with this but welcome for more suggestions. Who would utilize super forms or chaos based moves
The Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald

- Hall: Artifacts Library (The Great Treasury)
- Note: Restoration and expansion
- Appearance: Eight diamond cut gems of a variety of colors. The Master Emerald is a much larger green gem
- Class Level: 3 (2 when used in tandem with one another)
- Museum Check: Cleared
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (the Chaos Emeralds), True Neutral (the Master Emerald)
- Portfolio
- In general: Mineral MacGuffin Power Crystal, Abilities and Amount Can Vary Depending On The Game (usually the early games, averting the Color-Coded Stones trope, Glowing Gem
- The Chaos Emeralds: Plot Coupon, Super Form
- The Master Emeralds: Emerald Power, Can Amp Or Cancel The Chaos Emeralds
- Domains: Gems, Chaos, Energy, Transformations, Heart, Space-Time
- Transformation users: Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Mighty the Armadillo, Chaos, Shadow the Hedgehog, Black Doom, Silver the Hedgehog''' (in the prime continuity), Dr Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, Metal Sonic, Emerl, Mega Man (in some other continuities)
- Source of interest: Most Sonic characters in all honesty (especially Dr Eggman), various Dragon Ball deities (mainly the Saiyans and Saiyan-adjacent ones)
- The Chaos Emeralds are usually seven (though sometimes more or less, especially in earlier games) gemstones of great power. On their own they are typically sort out as a power source, but they can also achieve a variety of "Chaos" technics like Chaos Control or Chaos Blast. Most of the time they are scattered around the world, or to strange realms like the Special Zone. Multiple Chaos Emeralds can achieve powers like time travel, but only when all seven are together is their true potential available. With all seven one can achieve a super form, typically an experienced hedgehog like Sonic and Shadow, where they become nigh-invincible and overpowered as long as they have rings to sustain the transformation. For villains like Eggman they are often sought out as a path to total power. Angel Island has the Master Emerald, a huge gem which keeps the island afloat and can control the power of the Chaos Emeralds. They can either nullify their power or enhance them, potentially resulting in the Super Emerald transformation.
- The Chaos Emeralds used to be part of the Great Treasury a long time ago, only to be lost while it was rebuilt and refurnished. Eggman had sensed their energy coming ever since THE END first made itself known in the Trope Pantheon. His theory is that, as the omnicidal manifestation of an Order Is Not Good force, they may have sensed it and arrived as a certain necessity. During their arrival, he used the time to once again steal the Master Emerald from Knuckles, however the echidna managed to get the Master Emerald back from him. Wanting to learn more about his people's history and further protection for the Master Emerald, he asked the Court of the Gods to help with guarding the Master Emerald. Technically the Master Emerald is not kept in the treasury, but rather the Warp Ring right to the temple on Angel Island meant for it.
- The Chaos Emeralds are influenced by thoughts. Positive emotions like joy and compassion are used for positive powers, and negative emotions like rage and greed are used for negative powers, with the emeralds having both a positive and negative side; when Chaos drained the emeralds with negative emotions, Sonic could still go super with the positive energy left. Where they came from and the deeper mechanics varies depending on the continuity. Within the prime game canon, it was revealed millennia ago, the Ancients brought seven Chaos Emeralds with them, and were attracted to the Master Emerald on the Earth. In Blaze's universe, there are the Sol Emeralds.
- The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog are perhaps the most unique, as a set of four green emeralds of different shapes that grant different powers when normally the individual Chaos Emeralds are only aesthetically different from one another. The different emeralds can grant immortality, invincibility (though only if given to a king in that case), and give or take life. There's a fifth Chaos Emerald ring, but it doesn't work in tandem with them. Using those four emeralds one can obtain godhood, which Dr Robotnik memorably used to become Supreme High Robotnik, however he could still be taken by surprise and he lost his powers when the necklace of those emeralds was taken. His counterparts muse they're like nerfed Infinity Gems and they're seeking to claim those gems
- Before reality was altered to be more close to the games' canon, Mobius Prime used to have thousands of Chaos Emeralds. However the Cosmic Entity Feist decided to merge them into a easier to keep track seven. Mammoth Mogul owes his immortality to a Chaos Emerald that embedded itself in his chest. They're connected to a larger energy known as Chaos Force, basically the comic's equivalent of Chaos Energy. In the Mirror Universe of Moebius, their equivalents are the Anarchy Beryls. If transformation with the Chaos Emeralds are like a good caffeine buzz, then the Anarchy Beryls could be compared to some kind of adrenaline shot, since it gives a brief high and then a massive drain; the transformation lasts long but it leads to a big burn-out. Unlike the Chaos Emeralds, their counterparts are relatively common.
- In the "STC/Fleetway Sonic" universe, they needed to be kept very cold or in either the Special Zone or Emerald Chamber to avoid becoming unstable, and can have an effect on morality. Doctor Ovi Kintobor sought to use them with the ROCC to cleanse Mobius of evil, however an accident involving a rotten egg, a time traveling Sonic and the six of the Chaos Emeralds caused his transformation into that world's Ivo Robotnik. The super form they grant Sonic there is a Superpowered Evil Side, and they transformed a Drakon into that continuity's Chaos. The Drakons created them by placing the Chaos Energy they invented into seven Emeralds stolen from the Echidnas over 8000 years ago. Notably the Grey Chaos Emerald has unique powers here, being able to disable/manipulate the other emeralds as well as other things with Chaos Energy such as Robotnik as the Control Emerald. Through a variety of circumstances the Master Emerald equivalent was temporary an old Guardian robot's head after it absorbed the Master Emerald's powers under the orders of a villainous Echidna.
- Like "AOSTH", the "Fleetway" emeralds have the potential to grant someone Reality Warper powers. At his height with them, Dr Robotnik was a god who reshaped the timeline as he saw fit, making it where Sonic was never born (though the former still existed to toy with him), and only really lost because Sonic played on his ego. In the "Paramount" canon, the Master Emerald afforded immense power to Robotnik albeit not quite as extreme. With it he could manifest a giant mech.
- Lucifer and the GUAC are curious as to how much the emeralds live up to the "chaos" part, though both Knuckles and Eggman agree its not the societal and philosophical kind he represents. For the most part the Chaos Emeralds are morally neutral artifacts entirely up to the heart of the user, making them equally valued by the GUAG and GUAE alongside the GUAC. This hasn't stopped members of the Imperium of Mankind from fearing them as an artifact that'll encourage Chaos corruption...and in their own universe, they're right. When placed in the same reality as the Chaos Gods they always end up invoking Chaos Is Evil simply because of how Chaos operates there, wholly and only using the negative side. From Sigvald to Abbadon the Chaos Emeralds grant them great power. When reclaimed from the forces of Chaos the taint was so great it caused Sonic to briefly transform into his infamous Fleetway Super form and cause havoc until his rings ran out. They had to be purified by Tikal and Chip working together with Knuckles before they were safe to use again by heroic deities.
- The Chaos Emeralds are potent sources of energy, and more impressively have the potential to bend reality. Despite all their power they are not considered as extreme and unpredictable enough to be sent to Maximum Security, though they're still no laughing matter. Some have treated them like weaker versions of the Infinity Gems/Stones and the Pure Hearts, though asides from the variety of colors and powers they aren't that similar. All together it's said to be able to grant a wish and give unlimited power, but nothing on the level of the Dream Stone or Infinity Gems/Stones. They're still kept away from those items out of concern for what interactions would happen. Eggman theorizes that those artifacts are so powerful that Chaos Energy wouldn't affect them, but rather they'd act as attractors and amplifiers of the Emerald's power. Sinestro notes that their powers could enhance Horror's Hand and his own Yellow Lantern ring to a whole new level, though if he's going to be able to use the former he needs to overcome his greatest fear; likely the fear of losing his daughter. Many Marvel deities believe the Chaos Stone would be able to immediately make Chaos Emeralds Super Emeralds. Safe to say, Dr Eggman's taking notes for future evil plans.
- Perhaps the most well-known power the seven Chaos Emeralds afford is the super transformation, which can also be shared with others to achieve their own super form (though it's not as effective as using the emeralds for yourself). As demonstrated by Mecha Sonic, the Master Emerald on its own can be used to achieve a super form, something Sonic himself achieved in one continuity and so would Imperator Ix. With the invulnerability awarded by the form, Greed would love to know how that might synergize with his Ultimate Shield. While usually granting a Golden Super Mode, sometimes it shows off other colorations like Knuckles getting a hot pink or Amy a hot white. In some cases it can cause a much more radical change; Black Doom can transform into a Kaiju like One-Winged Angel form called Devil Doom, and Trip the Sungazer can become a golden dragon. Greed plans to obtain a sick gold and black super mode with the Chaos Emeralds one day, which has led him and Knuckles getting into a scuffle since he's attempted to steal the Master Emerald.
- Yes, there are similarities between the Chaos Emeralds and Dragonballs. There's seven, they scatter after being used, and they're central mystical artifacts in their 'verse. However the Dragonballs are specifically wish-focused and as far as we know, there's no draconic entity that made the Chaos Emeralds. Future Trunks would love to see if he can make a combination super form with his Saiyan biology and the emeralds' powers, though he's not sure what he'd even call it. Various Dragon Ball villains are intrigued by the Chaos Emeralds as a source of power, however it's Dr Gero who's the most interested in them because like Eggman he's a Mad Scientist. With the energy of the Chaos or Master Emerald, he seeks to obtain what a form he calls "Super Android 20". Most Z-Fighters are intrigued by the Chaos Emeralds due to their power.
- Rarity has a lot of experience with magical crystals and collects gems, making her interested in the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald. Knuckles thinks that if she could achieve a Super Rarity form that'd be pretty neat and she's welcome to try, just so long as she doesn't get in the way of his job guarding them. She's a bit dissapointed they're too big to add to any dress, though their cut and shine would make them a prize even if they didn't have great power. The two have been pondering if the Calamity Gems/Stones have a connection to the Chaos Emeralds, since Anne, Sasha and Marcy noticed some obvious similarities. Similarly cut and colorful gemstones? Gives them a powered up form? Check on both. King Arthur and by extension the original Saber can achieve a super form with the Chaos Emeralds since Sonic is all but stated to be his counterpart, resembling the Excalibur form Sonic took against the Dark Queen. However if he is filled with negative emotions like channelling one of his nastier counterparts (eg: King Ruthra or the Green Knight ) his super form will be a meaner-looking gold and black variation of the illusion Arthur that Merlina created.
- The most iconic power afforded by the Chaos Emeralds, outside of the super form, may just be Chaos Control. Using an emerald, space-time is warped in a way that allows teleportation and the ability to freeze time. Dio Brando notices the similarities this has to his Stand, The World, though there's plenty enough differences that he wouldn't call it a rip-off. Him and Pucci interested in the idea of using the power of the emeralds as an alternative path to their Heaven plan. With two emeralds, the emerald's power can extend to full on time travel. However to use Chaos Control at its full extent you need all seven emeralds, which is capable of teleporting massive objects like the Space Colony ARK or Black Comet thousands of miles. One wonders what the Doctor could do if he tried to incorporate them into the TARDIS, even if he has no intention of doing so. And he certainly has no intention of allowing many of his time travel-savvy enemies like the Master or the Daleks possession of the Chaos Emeralds.
- Shadow is probably the most experienced with Chaos powers, being the one that introduced the concept of Chaos Control. He has a variety of more blatantly offensive powers afforded by Chaos energy, primarily usage of the Chaos Emeralds (for those wondering, he prefers the green emerald for sentimental reasons). Noteworthy powers are Chaos Blast (an energy explosion), Chaos Spear and Lance (sharp energy attacks).
- Gerald Robotnik has found the Chaos Emeralds have a great capacity for destruction. Full usage of the negative part of the emeralds allowed Chaos to become the Great Deluge-ushering Perfect Chaos Kaiju. For malicious beings that utilize water like the Flood or Rain, that's a blueprint for a super form of their own. Of course it might just be because of Chaos' specific biology, but it's still something of note. Gerald's Eclipse Cannon can level a city with five Chaos Emeralds, blow up half the moon with six and with all seven it's a straight up planet buster. Palpatine has joked about this being copyright infringement, though in all seriousness he's fine with it and both Krennic and Tarkin seek to study the Chaos Emeralds scientifically as a power source. The Sith Lord is curious if Chaos Energy might further his attunement to the Force.
- Normally there isn't any real difference between the Chaos Emeralds...at least, that was the general belief. The Northstar Incident has revealed the emeralds actually have specific powers. These Emerald Powers are of interest to various deities, leading to some experimentation with those who already have similar powers. The general result is that it magnifies their abilities.
- Blue Emerald: Avatar power. Allows the user to generate clones of themselves that run across the screen to damage enemies and collect items. Piccolo used the blue emerald to be able to enhance his multi-form technique to copy himself forty times, yet rather than be divided into 1/40th of his normal strength they were each 1/8th of his normal power. However once the power wears off he ends up exhausted.
- Red Emerald: Bullet power. Turns the user into a fireball that can be launched repeatedly in any direction. This is the emerald Kirby likes to use the most, due to how often he uses the power of the fireball dash.
- Purple Emerald: Vision power. Allows the player to see and interact with hidden items and platforms. Batman thinks this could be a sort of "detective vision" and has been borrowing the emerald to deal with the Joker's latest schemes. With his love of chaos he likes the idea of using the Chaos Emeralds, though only for a little to shake things up. Bruce later gave the Purple Emerald to Clark since he was curious if it would do anything for his telescopic vision. As it turns out, it did; using Vision power, Superman was able to see through lead. Vision power is commonly used to find the many invisible platforms in the Monster Sancturary that usually only a few monster species are capable of.
- Cyan Emerald: Water power. Liquifies the player, allowing them to climb waterfalls and swim around in larger bodies of water. For Vaporeon, this results in a doubling of her Water type attacks' power, probably due to already having a similar power. Crystal and Medley Brook gained a similar boost in their power, and in their case they found they could endure significantly higher water pressure while swimming.
- Green Emerald: Ivy power. Allows the player to grow a climbable vine and reach new, higher up areas. For Grass type Pokémon, it super-charges Vine Whip into being as strong as Power Whip, and makes Power Whip always accurate. When she managed to steal it in a caper with Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy found it responded well to her and gave her a power boost.
- Yellow Emerald: Slow power. Slows time down, causing enemies, bosses and moving objects to move slower. Dr Wily muses that if Time Man were to wield it, he may be unstoppable. Dio Brando stole it once to see what'd happen if used during The World since you can't slow time to less than a standstill. The test revealed that it boosted The World's time-stop from 9 to a whopping 30 seconds.
- Grey Emerald: Extra power. Gives the player a new move depending on the character they are playing as. This is probably the most non-specific power of the seven. For comparison, Sonic got the Homing Shot, Tails the Tornado Spin, Knuckles gets a punch that can throw a projectile ect. Mega Man tested the emerald and found that he gained the ability to use his buster during sliding; he's nicknamed this Slide Buster.
- Using the Power Combo Kirby is able to theroetically use three emeralds; the two he swallowed and absorbed, and the third he hold. For now, though Kirby has only used two in a Power Combo; for example swallowing the Red and Green Emerald to make "Ivy Bullet power", a flaming yet fireproof vine. Multiple emeralds can also be used for time travel, though outside of "Sonic 06" this ability is rarely used. The House of Time and Temporality think this might be for the best after learning about the time Robotnik used their power to among other things, rewriting reality so that Sonic existed. Despite the fact Kintobor only became Robotnik due to Sonic (even if you ignore Sonic pulling a Stable Time Loop by causing the accident because the Brotherhood of Metallix interfered, it's unlikely the events that led to Kintobor's transformation would've happened if he never met Sonic), he was completely unaffected. This suggests that using time travel via the Chaos Emeralds makes you paradox-proof akin to the machine-language time code, which alone could lead to disaster in the wrong hands. After all, just ask 'Harold Saxon' what he could do with paradox-proof time travel.
- "The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power, power is enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos."

- In The Multiverse there is a reality known as Moebius, where the characteristics and morality of its residents are the reverse of Mobius Prime's. Ivo Kintobor is a kindly, skinny vet and the Freedom Fighter's counterparts are unruly thugs. Anti-Sonic is Sonic with negative qualities amped up, what "one bad day" would lead him too. Though Sonic himself has mused, some good breaks could've made his counterpart more like him. Initially the butt of jokes who's main shtick was impersonating his alternate or being pulled around by other villains, he'd reinvent himself via energy of the Master Emerald, getting sick chest scars and being dyed green. Dubbing himself Scourge, he despises being seen as a Sonic knock-off and struck out as a proper villain that managed to take control of Moebius. However he's a bully and arrogant douche at the end of the day, with Sonic defeating him by playing on his ego. Before the Continuity Reboot retconned out him and many other characters, he had broken out of a multiversal prison.
- He had plans for Mobius and Moebius, but with the Super Genesis Wave altered the multiverse these plans would never materialize. Instead, he would find himself arriving at the hall of the Trope Pantheon, in what looked like some nightmarishly warped gothic city with garish clown graffiti sprayed across the place. Thinking he was being punked, Scourge called out whoever thought they could scare him with this. From the dark emerged the Batman Who Laughs, who Scourge could immediately sense something was seriously wrong with him. He spoke that Scourge was in the Trope Pantheon, as he had just shifted to a new position; the new representative of the Evil Counterpart trope. And Scourge was getting his old position under the Shadow Archetype trope, as a symbol of everything bad about Sonic. He left Scourge unharmed, possibly as a form of Cruel Mercy or merely amusement at his actions, but not before giving him the lowdown about his personal history. That's what got the hedgehog to finally be creeped out.
- Mammoth Mogul had predicted another "pre-Super Genesis Wave" individual would ascend, though he's admittedly unimpressed that it was Scourge. Obviously the renegade hedgehog has had experience with the multiverse so the Trope Pantheon wasn't a hard concept to understand, though he had never gotten a chance to meet the original, game version of his nemesis. And he has no intention to stop their rivalry, further spurred by the fact that Sonic still doesn't consider him one of his top enemies. The Freedom Fighters were exasperated to see him come back as well. Because of his attitude problem he doesn't have many allies from his own multiverse, though he has gotten things to work with a couple Sonic deities. Infinite holds an obsessive need to prove himself the best and at the day he's an unstable bully like Scourge, so even if he's too Ax-Crazy to really be called a friend even to Scourge, they have somewhat of a bond. The game's version of Metal Sonic has a Vitriolic Best Buds relationship with the biological evil Sonic, regarding him as unfocused but deep down understanding his desire to prove the Blue Blur they reflect wrong. Though Metal is more about proving he's the true Sonic, and Scourge that he very much isn't Sonic.
- With his ascension, Scourge has learned that the Sonic multiverse is even larger than he thought it was. One discovery he made is that his own recolor may have been influenced by a palette glitch in Sonic 2; the glitch makes Sonic green with a black patch on his head. Being Scourge, he tends to get on people's nerves.
- His legacy can be felt in the IDW comics with Surge the Tenrec. She's a green and black, brash rival of Sonic that is a corruption of his character traits, and they even have similar sounding names. In many ways, a Spiritual Successor to Scourge, and one Scourge hopes to eventually meet. Granted, it's also possible he wants to hit on her. Tangle and Whisper are placing bets on whether they'll hit it off or become major rivals to one another should Surge ever ascend. They really hope not, as dealing with Surge was enough for them.
- he found a universe where Sonic himself had a Superpowered Evil Side when he went Super Sonic. Funnily enough, that incarnation also had an Evil Doppelgänger called King Sonic, however Sonic correctly predicted if moralities were flipped, his Super Sonic would be a good guy. Scourge would rather not meet "Fleetway" Super Sonic as he's too Ax-Crazy for his case. Also from the same continuity as the other evil Sonics mentioned there's Cosmic the Hedgehog, a persona by the Robotnik creation Metamorphia that tried upstaging Sonic in hopes of killing him. Shorty agrees he's not as bad as his world's Super Sonic, but not by much. He wonders if the Master Emerald have given Scourge enough power to damage his armour given it is made of Megatal. He also notes that his Sonic can be a jerk to his friends, however they're still his friends and you can't say Scourge would share those kind of sentiments.
- If you want to stretch the definition of alternate Sonic, there's always Sonic.exe, who initially amused him as an evil being with Sonic's form. On further inspection he creeps Scourge the hell out, being way too sadistic for his taste. Sonic.exe thinks he's an amteaur and loves to mock him for his past Butt-Monkey status. Further into the world of fanfiction, Scourge learned Metal Sonic has a more ferocious counterpart in Metallix, though unlike Metal Metallix is more interesting in gaining great power than any imposter syndrome the two share with the Blue Blur. Much like Sonic.exe, Scourge thinks he's too Ax-Crazy for even his tastes.
- He didn't have a good relationship with his father, who while he contributed to "the Great Peace" it would stagnate and he didn't seem to be around for his son. What happened to Anti-Jules? Well, Sonic's dad isn't a Mobian anymore, but his dad simply...isn't. It's a pretty sore sport for him, as when he tried to take out Mobius Prime's Jules he got a sterned dressing down from him and ran away crying. He's disgusted by Ozai, though the Firelord muses somehow thinking he counts as a rival plays a part in that. Strangely, he seems to get along with the Black Sheep of Goku's lineage, Raditz. Maybe it's because they commiserated over being seen as an outgrown relic compared to Sonic and Son Goku, and maybe it's because they can understand each other's ego issues. Scourge couldn't help but use the Super Saiyan transformation as ammo to snark at his doppelganger, musing "and you think I'm a rip-off? My super form is actually distinct!" That super form lasts longer than a Chaos Emerald transformation, but when it times out it drains his energy.
- Scourge's ascension brought the attention of the Crime Syndicate of America. Before even Star Trek was doing it, they were the exemplars of the Mirror Universe. Much like Scourge has come to hate being compared to Sonic, they hate being compared to the Justice League. Scourge even had his own Crime Syndicate type in the Anti-Freedom Fighters, later changed to the Suppression Squad. However he's a pretty horrible leader and he replaced them with crooks from Mobius Prime. Ultraman thought that was pretty embarrassing all thing considered and made it clear while they do find use with him fighting other heroes, they do not respect him nor will they even pretend to do so. The only member of the Crime Syndicate Scourge gets along is fellow Speed Demon Johnny Quick. Sometimes Owlman has a bit of a fond side, but that's usually in one of his more moody moments regarding his own familial issues.
- Has a rivalry with both Barry Allen and Wally West. Unlike with Sonic, where it's entirely sporting, it's more about proving he's better than them while humiliating them. Not once has he come close to outracing them, which frustrates him to no end. He feels that if he had access to the Speed Force he'd be able to best them, but most think it's a futile effort to feed his ego. Eobard Thawne considers Scourge untapped potential, though he's in no rush to explain what he sees that potential as; the Reverse Flash might just see a bit of himself in the hedgehog. Another speedster that Scourge has as an ally is A-Train, a Corrupted Character Copy to a speedster and rather shameless braggart. Though it's more of his straight up Hate Sink of a comic counterpart. TV A-Train is an egotistical celebrity but he's more understandable, and what loose friendship they have is only about proving themselves. Eventually their already weak friendship would be severed as TV A-Train would actually have a Heel Realization, helping the Boys undermine Homelander by being a leak, and eventually quitting the Seven.
- He has no clear motive for his evil beyond being drunk on his own strength and making Sonic's life miserable. He's a shameless flirt and Casanova, though his callous attitude has these relationships go belly-up. His indulgent love of himself and proud "rebel without a cause" attitude has him and Gaston enjoy showing off how great they are. It's not serious in the slightest, and even Scourge'll admit "he's got a really entertaining sense of pride on him; I like his style". If he has a more concrete goal asides from general power, it's to prove he's not just an Evil Doppelgänger. Of the different incarnations of the Master, he pals around with "O", aka the Spy Master, who upon discovering the Doctor is the Timeless Child it has fueled his resentment and envy towards his eternal frenemy. And he's always up to muck things up for the sake of it, so working with Scourge is one way to go about it. He's seeking to swipe Anarchy Beryls as an energy source, which Scourge isn't too concerned since they're rather plentiful in his universe.
- In spite of his Big Bad Wannabe status he can be a real threat when he puts his mind to it. He might not have been able to hold onto power but he still took over Moebius in a matter of days just by beating all the warlords. Remember, he's a version of Sonic and theoretically just as strong as him, maybe even a bit stronger because of the permanent Master Emerald makeover he gave himself, it's really his own character flaws that let him down. Though they disrespect him as a person, the Crime Syndicate still see potential because of that and how he took over Moebius. He is quick to point out how becoming Scourge is the right way for a bad guy to reinvent themselves, pointing out Dr Arthur Light as the wrong way to do so. Yeah he's a thug and as much of a shameless rake as the ratings will allow, but he thinks his crimes are tasteless.
- Lord Drakkon is an evil version of a good guy from a different universe, and he REALLY doesn't like the good Tommy Olivers. If Scourge's counterpart makes him feel like he's in someone's shadow, Drakkon's hatred of his other selves proves the suffering he went through could never justify his actions. Drakkon sees himself more of a force of order and regards Scourge as a nuisance, one he's not too fond of being compared to even if there's comparisons you can make. Dark Danny has been compared to Scourge as well, though he's a lot more serious than the hedgehog; he's a Danny that abandoned what made him a hero, becoming gleefully psychotic. Dark Danny it to Scourge proof that all it takes to be a bad guy is one bad day...and before you ask no, the Joker didn't mind the Shout-Out. While the two do get along, it's more out of some level of understanding for each other and yearning for chaos; care isn't something the ghost can have anymore. Him and the Joker get along for similar reasons though not as well since the latter tends to heckle him. Additionally, the two have fundamentally opposing views on their role as a Foil; while Scourge hates being compared to Sonic, the Joker embraces being the other side of the coin to Batman and he thinks Scourge is limiting his potential.
- Fern, Ben Reilly and Kaine think of Scourge as a worse version of themselves, as they are all duplicates with issues about it however they never sunk to the level of villainy that Scourge did. Fern in particular is a time duplicate of Finn who's frustration with being overshadowed and unable to live up to him led him on a villain arc where he would try and Kill and Replace Finn, however he ended up seeing the error of his ways and underwent Redemption Equals Death. The three do think his desire not to be in Sonic's shadow is understandable, but he's a punk and a bully who goes about it the wrong way. The only one of the three Scourge comes close to any moments of friendliness is Fern since what he feels may be the most pronounced with him, along with the coincidence they're green doppelgangers of a blue hero, but they're just fleeting moments. The Regime Superman is an evil parallel version of the Man of Steel however he scoffs at any other comparison with Scourge as he's driven by a zealous and authoritarian view of justice while Scourge can generously be described as a rebel without a cause. The green hedgehog does note that he gives credence to the "one bad day" theory, though he's smart enough not to bring it up when they scuffle lest he really makes the Flying Brick mad.
- While Scourge doesn't like acknowledging his similarities and contrasts with Sonic, he does take some notes on others who act as a Shadow Archetype. Odio/Oersted, in some shape or form, mirrors some part of the Seven Heroes; while they their adversities, he wasn't making whatever similarities he had with them twisted as a result. Angela was intended to be a Replacement Goldfish for Carmen by her creator, Ayin, but couldn't fulfill that role in his head despite originally inheriting her memories and personality, something she is all too aware of. Ironically she overtime came to resemble him more than she did Carmen yet she also turned out to be better than her template too. Of course, just because they classify under the Shadow Archetype trope doesn't mean that they see eye to eye with Scourge, thinking him as a punk and wannabe too busy with being petty to be important to them. The Maker is more aware of being the darker road not taken, what with him being a Mr Fantastic gone bad, though he's not from a Mirror Universe. However he feels he's gone way beyond what Scourge has managed and dismisses him as more of a powerful nuisance. The hedgehog's not a fan of that response, but it's more annoyance than anything.
@ Twig: The Doctor sometimes arrives after the tragedy has already happened.
@ Chaos Emeralds: There is a mistake in the 'Using the Power Combo' paragraph it says rewriting reality so that Sonic existed. It should be rewriting reality so that Sonic never existed. Fix that for a

"May your heart be your guiding key"Hello, sorry for being…I don’t know…two years late? But I got three profiles under construction that I’d like to share. Two, I know I’m safe with sharing. One is the previously shared Van Tastic for the Big Red Button.
The second and third are Naomi from the Cross Ange game for The Idealist Was Right Mia Luna Tearmoon for Retroactive Precognition.
NOTE: These pages are still in the works and, therefore, not seeking any thumbs yet. I have checked that the tropes are still available and explained why they fit within their pages below.
I’ll share in order of where I started them.
Van Tastic

- "Hey, everybody! It's time to get...*WHACKED!* That's right! The show that makes you reach for the stars over a pile of bruised and battered bodies! And now, please welcome our model of perfection, beauty personified, and man of talent over every expertise...your host, VAN TASTIC!"
Van: Hey there, guys, gals, and all you sick weirdos in between! Are you ready to get...*WHACKED!* (laughing) Well, am I on today, or what? In any case, dispense with the pleasantries and show our collaborators, contributors, and potential suckers...I mean, contestants and potential candidates what we have in store for them.
- Van Tastic is a game show host who selected seven candidates in violent yet also somewhat light-hearted battles in the form of numerous game modes. These include: collecting stars, killing players in a certain number of minutes, killing chickens, standing on swirling areas, holding large trophies, and dodgeball. All of these take place everywhere, from Paris to a space station, the center of a car crash, a car scene, and yes, Kitchen Sink Included. He even made the tools used just diverse (i.e., pitchforks, cleavers, staplers, exploding rubber ducks and dogs, and bee hives) as well as powerups in the form of question marks and exclamation points.
- The contestants include in order:
- Lucky: A Scottish or Irish bunny ...I mean, rabbit who is continuously violent and angry due to having his feet getting cut off from a lucky foot factory. He joined to find his lucky feet and give the one who has them a piece of his mind.
- Eugene: A Canadian mallard (often mistaken as a penguin) who still lives with his mother. He has a tendency to meek and polite but is internally a Deadpan Snarker.
- Toof: An Extreme Omnivore made to clean up oil spills, found after being thrown out of several all-you-can-eat buffets. While The Unintelligible, he can understand human words quite well. He has a Trademark Favorite Food for burgers.
- Lucy: The poster girl, known for Barbie Doll Anatomy and have her clothes ripped off. Know to use her sex appeal to attract viewers and is surprisingly smart as she can memorize every word in a contract to get her end of the deal.
- Lance: A muscular man with the face of a lion. He is also a narcissist who is pretty bad at cracking jokes but shown to praise for something he finds awesome.
- Charity: A spoiled girl to the point of being a kleptomaniac, willing to kill to get what she wants. Has a liking for ponies, dolls, sweets, and presents.
- Otto: Officially a man sleeping on a chair the entire time with very few instances of being awake. In reality, the chair is sentient and the one doing all of the work. Said chair also has a relationship with Lucy.
- What do the contestants get from all of these violent matches? The winner will receive...The Prize! What's inside the so-called Prize? Well, that cannot be said until one of the seven contestants wins the game.
- Turns out that neither the Prize nor the host himself isn't exactly as full of roses as he displays. Van is a demon who has been making people fight each other for amusement and riches ever since Adam and Eve were still in their tea leaves. The Prize is the desires of the person who enters it, in the form of Heaven, and Van intentionally made it so that the game was Unwinnable by Design. His boss, none other than the true devil himself, feared someone who would not only win but would use the Prize other than evil. To the dismay and anger of the winning contestants, Van's show is canceled by the time they win, and no Prize is given. However, Van gives the winning contestant one last challenge, facing the host himself to obtain the Grand Prize (the same thing), killing off all the other contestants in the process. He is defeated, and the contestants obtain the prize, but each represents one of the Seven Deadly Sins, so their rewards are only something for themselves. Seeing there is no real danger, Van (who is still somehow alive) gets a call from his boss, who renders his show Un-Canceled to his enjoyment. And so is the host's story of how he, and the show itself, ascended to the Pantheon.
- The main source of his ascension was many gods being interested in one of his game show's most commonly used (and most unique) mechanics. As the ratings and number of viewers increased, Van increased the mayhem by introducing a marvelous marvel of the technological age scientifically known as The Big Red Button! This large, seemingly useless device is a Reality Warper that causes something to happen, affecting the entire arena and even Breaking the Fourth Wall when pressed. It will either give everyone weapons, take them away, summon a literal Hand of Death, or cause a "Freaky Friday" Flip, just to name a few of its effects. Once pressed, someone can easily go From Zero to Hero or be an example of How the Mighty Have Fallen in a matter of seconds.
- When the interested gods wanted to see it work, he thankfully came Crazy-Prepared and kept one of these with him.
Van: Allow me to demonstrate for you first hand! (presses Big Red Button)(Alarm blaring music)Announcer: MISSILEFEST! Hold onto your hats, kids! This is going to get ugly!(Several One-Hit Kill Missiles are inflated near the contestants, and Macross Missile Massacre ensures)Van: (clearing the smoke) So, is that something, or is that something? Or perhaps I should ask...any more questions? (laughs)

Well, Calypso is another devilish entity that hold a competition with the prize being to grant the winner a wish, tough he's much more likely to screw said winner over.

But he doesn’t have a Big Red Button in the middle of a game. That’s what Van’s games have and why I chose him for the trope.
In addition, for the The Idealist Was Right, I choose Naomi from the Cross Ange game. In the original series, she was already dead by Episode 2 but was Spared By Adaptation instead, being a friend of Coco and Miranda and student under Zola. She ended up in a coma instead before she was resigned to Work Off the Debt of over 10 million Cash.
I chose her for the trope because she holds onto the ideals, particularly the part when Mana users and Norma can stop fighting each other despite witnessing herself how awful the former are. For that reason, she’s shunned by many of her peers for this naivety. Regardless, she remained the mediator and depending on who she pairs with, her words have more backing behind them than previously thought. She even (inadvertently) made Embryo good, of all people, who treated her as a normal person throughout the route.
Only info for what happens before the routes and routes for Salia, Vivian, and Hilda have been translated and are on her wiki page. I personally translated the dialogue for the others (Ersha, Chris, Rosalie, Ange, and the Embryo route) and posted them on the public domain for others to see.

- A new game where people control dolls with their minds and use them to fight in one-on-one battles has swept the nation of Japan. This game is Angelic Layer, and no matter your age or size, anyone can participate as a Deus. One of the latest Deus is Misaki Suzuhara, who just moved to Tokyo and managed to catch a game on TV, inspired by a powerful angel dressed in white named Athena, whose small stature belies her immense strength. Misaki had to join in, too, and custom-designed her very own angel, Hikaru, a fighter designed with speed in mind. By accidentally fighting in 2 games when she thought she’d be practicing, Misaki wound up enlisting in the Angelic Layer Nationals, a long tournament rife with strong opponents, opportunities to learn, and friends who believe in her. What Misaki didn’t know is that the Deus of Athena is her own mother, Shuko, who she hasn’t seen since she was in Kindergarten. She would eventually have to face her in the Finals, and whether she won or lost, the entire tournament would be the single most important moment in Misaki’s life.
- One day, Misaki went to Piffle Princess to rent an Angelic Layer table for practice. What she got instead was a gold ticket to join the Trope Pantheon. Misaki was not hesitant in accepting; after all, age and size don’t matter in Angelic Layer, so why would they matter in the Pantheon? The Court of the Gods took notice and were about to ascend her, but had trouble picking a trope for her to represent. When they learned of the Nationals tournament that changed her life, they settled on allowing Misaki to represent Tournament Arcs, and she was ascended. Hikaru also ascended with her, as while she’s a non-sentient doll, the relationship between a Deus and their Angel is very important. Misaki also requested that her temple contain a table for practice, and it was granted.
- Being from the CLAMP universe, it was inevitable that Misaki would make friends with other deities from the same universe. Hikaru Shidou in particular was flattered when she learned that the Deus named and designed her Angel after her. However, the Magic Knight knows nothing about modern games, so whatever “Angelic Layer” is was lost on her. In addition, the name of the school Misaki attends, Eriol Academy, caught the intrigue of Sakura Kinomoto and friends, as they had an encounter with a mysterious boy named Eriol who happened to be the reincarnation of Clow Reed himself. Kero also remembers consulting an Angelic Layer guidebook to help him get through a video game he was struggling with. When Tomoyo heard of Angelic Layer, she was positively enthralled by the costumes that the players give their dolls, and has expressed interest in filming the Angelic Fights just to admire said costumes.
- She was over the moon when she learned of the Gundam Build Fighters. Gunpla Battles have plenty of similarities to Angelic Layer, right down to players creating their own custom toys and using them to fight each other. So, Misaki made fast friends with Sei Iori, who started out as a great Gunpla builder, but a terrible pilot, until he met a mysterious boy named Reiji who taught him the ropes. Misaki was never a terrible Deus at the start, but she needed A Lesson in Defeat to not get over her head and truly believe in herself and Hikaru. Coincidentally, she also had a mysterious man teaching her the ropes… In their spare time, both Misaki and Sei share and gush over their favorite models of Angels and Gunplas.
- Amu Hinamori has noted that Misaki’s Heart’s Egg is very strong, fueled by her love for competing and desire to win and prove that anyone can compete in anything. While she’s not from the CLAMP universe, Misaki knew right away that Amu was a Magical Girl, as she’s already familiar with the Magic Knights and the Cardcaptor. She can relate to every time Amu has given a speech to convince her X Egg-corrupted peers to believe in themselves and never give up on their dreams. Misaki hasn’t seen her Egg become a Guardian Character yet, but if it ever were to hatch, she believes it could look quite similar to Hikaru. Oh, and Amu got a good chuckle out of one of Misaki’s ideas for an Angelic Layer entry catchphrase, which sounded oddly familiar to her and Ran: “Let’s go, Hikaru! Hop, step, and jump!”
- Compared to other heroes from shonen manga that partake in tournaments, Misaki’s not a superpowered martial artist, alien, or ninja. She’s just an ordinary girl who plays a game. Thus, she doesn’t consider herself on the same level of Goku, Naruto, Luffy, or Ichigo. Not that it bothers her; one of her strengths is being Awesome by Analysis, and a fast learner who can study and mimic combat moves of her friends and opponents and put her own spin in them. It was how she won her first Angelic Layer battle: by copying a suplex move made by one of her classmates. The aforementioned heroes are much taller and physically stronger, but Misaki sees no issue in being small.
- One of Misaki’s opponents in the Angelic Layer Nationals was Ringo Seto, an Idol Singer whom she met before learning she was an idol. When she ascended, Misaki proceeded to seek out other idol deities, and that’s when she met μ's and Hatsune Miku. She learned of the idol group’s participation in the Love Live! competition and the work they put in to get to the top, and related to them immediately. μ's themselves were impressed by Misaki’s similar determination, and how, when she makes Hikaru dance during practice, her timing and choreography is nigh-perfect. Misaki admires Miku and the other Vocaloids as well, due to being beloved stars wearing pretty costumes who nonetheless aren’t real people, just like Angels.
- Why did Misaki’s mother, Shuko, leave her? It depends on who you ask. Some say she was just cripplingly shy. Most others give a more justifiable reason: because she has a crippling disability that rendered her paralyzed at the legs, but didn’t tell Misaki, and left for “work” for over 8 years. Shuko and the scientist Ichiro Mihara spent those 8 years developing a way to cure Shuko’s disability by designing prosthetic limbs that could be controlled by brain waves, a project that would lead to the creation of Angelic Layer. Misaki had no idea that the game she loves so much was a product of her own mother and the strange man named “Icchan” who got her into the game in the first place.
- Not only do Edward and Alphonse Elric have a missing mother, but prosthetic body parts, and they and Misaki struck a good conversation about how it feels to have both, even if Misaki’s mother was never dead. Edward was intrigued by the science behind Angelic Layer and the related prosthetic limbs project, but Misaki has assured him that there’s no magic or alchemy involved, just a mental connection. He is now considering telling Winry about it, and getting an upgraded arm and leg for himself, and a new body for Alphonse, using the technology. Maybe Misaki could get Icchan, Shuko, and Winry together to make it come true…
- Misaki doesn’t have many enemies, but she hates cheaters and sore losers. In her very second Angelic Layer battle, she was against an opponent who only challenges newcomers and soundly defeats them with an Angel wielding electric whips, which is against the rules. In the Nationals, Misaki also faced Arisa Fujisaki, who secretly planted a device on Hikaru before their match and had her friend Madoka use a trigger that disrupted Hikaru’s connection to Misaki’s visor. She defeated both of them, but cheating is still something she doesn’t stand for, and so she doesn’t look at Bandit Keith or Randy Orton fondly.
- She doesn’t know what to think of Bron. He’s a father longneck dinosaur who lost his mate to an earthquake and abandoned his unborn son to find a new place to migrate to, believing both of them to have died. A justifiable reason to leave them, but it still left his son with an unresolved conflict. Misaki went though a similar abandonment-based conflict with Shuko, so the relationship between Bron and Littlefoot hits too close to home for her comfort. However, she felt a little better when she learned that the two dinosaurs were able to reunite and make up, just like she and Shuko did.
Do we have one for Gratuitous Nazis? If so, I'm currently drafting a profile for Klaus the Nazi. Given that the whole point of Klaus is that he's a universally recognizable bad guy who can be plopped into any story or situation to serve as a villain, I can't think of a character who could embody the trope better. (In the words of his creator Andrew Rakich has said, "Nazis are freakin' awesome"AS BAD GUYS! JESUS!, and I think the way he's employed across Rakich's work shows a clear understanding of how he fits into the trope.

I just noticed that Social and Recreational Work has the too-long warning. Any ideas on what to do with it?

Why is there no interaction text for Dr. Sofia Lamb despite being in her Enemies list?
I mean, yeah, but it's usually recommended. It doesn't make me hate the profile or anything, but it's kinda just weird. I think you could easily slot an interaction with Lamb in that tangent about Misaki's mother as it otherwise doesn't really serve any purpose interaction-wise.

Personally, if a character is mentioned in a profile's Allies/Enemies/etc list, then they should be mentioned in an interaction paragraph so readers can understand why they're there (like, elaborating on the question "Why do Misaki and Sophia Lamb hate each other?"). If there is no interaction, the character can just be removed from the list. Don't forget to write interactions for other unmentioned characters like Violet Evergarden too (you can just add them to existing paragraphs).
EDIT: kinda

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMY@Social and Recreational Work I think the best solution for now would be to split it into two A-M and N-Z halls like what we did for the Boss Fights hall. Alternatively, there could be halls for certain categories of jobs, but the Hall is so diverse that I really can't find any sizable amount of deities to group together.

Ready to rock?@ Reginald Ogron:
Your idea
I have my own idea I'm wondering how to proceed with
- I am considering the cast of Hot Tub Time Machine for Our Time Machine Is Different or Mental Time Travel. I think the former trope is more befitting of them since, well, it's a movie about a bunch of guys who have a hot tub of all things as a method of time travel. However if you guys would prefer Mental Time Travel, as rather than sending them physically back it transports their minds back into their younger bodies (except for Jacob since he wasn't born yet), that'd be cool too

for the Hot Tub Time Machine cast taking Our Time Machine Is Different.

I think splitting Social and Recreational Work into two halves (A-M and N-Z) would be a good idea if we can't figure out an alternative Hall split idea.

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYHere's the other idea I am not sure what approach I should take yet, and I'd like to see what you guys think
- For the Hall of Toys and Dolls, I am considering Ollie for the trope of Sentimental Homemade Toy or Tragic Abandoned Toy. This is a mini-series adapting a book about Ollie. For the latter trope, he was a kid's favorite toy but ends up lost at the thrift store and spends the series trying to return to Billy, to his grief. For the former trope, Ollie is a toy bunny that was hand made by Billy's mother when he was just a baby and became a treasured toy. And when the mom dies, he becomes a Tragic Keepsake. Basically I think either fit, but I want to know which trope you guys fits Ollie better
x4 In that case, take a gander at this proposal:

- Rank: Intermediate God (aspires to be Overdeity)

- Theme Song: Klaus' Theme
- Alignment: Lawful Evil

- Domains: Fascism, Ancient Artifacts, Power, Domination, Necromancy
- Herald: Doctor Vonmurderahl
- Allies: The Red Skull, Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, Millennium, Kel'Thuzad
- Enemies: Just about everyone who hates Nazis on principle, and even a lot of those who don't, Anakaris
- The entity known as Klaus exists across quadrillions of realities, his strength wildly varying from one to the next. In some, he kills himself out of desperation while guest starring on an influential podcast. In others, his face is melted off by a meaningless plastic YouTube award. United amongst all of them, however, is a lust for power the likes of which can only be found among high-ranking devout Nazis. In all universes, Oberführer Klaus was once one of Hitler's top archeologists, sent around the world to find and extract evidence of the lost Aryan supercivilization that Himmler desperately wanted to exist. But what Himmler did not foresee was that in many universes, Klaus' discovers something on his travels that leads to him becoming something more than human. In these realities, Klaus is more than just a simple punchline about diehard Nazis. Here, his godlike powers make him a more formidable threat than anyone could possibly imagine.
- Klaus has died so many times over that it would make pinpointing his Ascension a mystery were it not for one overshadowing the rest, this being his decapitation by the Witchfinder-General of the Colony of Massachusetts Bay after an intense battle of blades at the Second Battle of Little Round Top. Though being a Nazi meant that Klaus' views on theology were muddled, to put it lightly, he was overjoyed to learn of his ascention to godhood as it meant he could continue to carry out his schemes to take over the multiverse while having even less of a risk of failure thanks to his newfound divine status. With his power secured, Klaus immediately began scouring the divine realms for underlings and servants he could use to further his conquests of all realities.
- An instantly hateable and recognizable mug, Klaus is noted for his ability to slot into any world and/or setting and still be an identifiable bad guy whom somebody wants to punch. In some regards, he has embraced this, knowing that once his plans finally come to fruition the stars across all galaxies will run red with the blood of those who once mocked him. Klaus has also made it easy for himself to hide in plain sight among the politically charged Godwin's Law-packed climate of modern day by adapting to the use of the internet to aid in his nefarious goals. Indeed, in at least one universe he was the anonymous "Q" who posted conspiracy theories about the American Deep State on 4chan before his discovery by a cryogenically displaced private investigator.
- Being a Nazi himself, Klaus wholeheartedly welcomes the co-operation of any and all other Nazis in the Pantheon (including The Red Skull and Millennium, but even other Nazis are cautious about working with someone as clearly unstable and dangerous as Klaus. At best he could waste a lot of their time, but at worst he could draw them into conflicts with other deities he has no hope of winning even with their help. It is for this reason that Klaus has long relied on plundering his alternate selves or employing useful idiots as his stooges, as however ideologically aligned his fellow Hitlerites may be, their beliefs inherently foster distrust between each other. It's all right in Klaus' book, though, as he would never make an alliance with a god that he couldn't dispose of when they run their course in terms of helpfulness.
- Klaus is constantly trying to steal things from The Great Treasury in order to aid in his schemes (owing to his roots as a Nazi archaeologist), but he has so far had no success. The security is simply too tight, and a man dressed in a decked-out SS uniform that he refuses to take off ever is not exactly stealthy. Yes, you read that right; some have even begun to hypothesize that the uniform is actually Klaus' skin, welded to his body by whatever process made him a godlike being. Even then, he could still stand to take a bath once in a while.
- From his most famous life he possesses the Sword of Baron Samedi, a weapon with powerful necromantic potential that requires the blood of a true American patriot to activate. It is for good reason then that Hank Hill goes running whenever he sees Klaus approaching and that Broforce have an active bounty on his head, seeing him as another agent of Satan. If there's one thing all American gods in the Pantheon are united on, it's that Nazis are fuckin' evil.
- In one of his most iconic incarnations, Klaus is an accomplished Necromancer who once raised an army of skeleton Confederates which he planned to use to Take Over the World, and he likely would have succeeded were it not for literal divine intervention. To this end, Klaus has suckered up to Kel'Thuzad in an attempt to regain an army of the dead that he can use for his own purposes. The only reason KT has not yet FROZEN THE BLOOD IN HIS VEINS is that he comes from a land where Nazism is not well known as the instant badge of villainy that it is on Earth. Klaus has abused this fact to try and convert KT into his political ideology, primarily through the use of alt-right shitposting and memes from his beloved X.
- Among all his myriad acts of villainy, Klaus is also a REALLY shitty roommate, and anyone he shares a domicile with can expect to have all their possessions gradually thrown out in the name of Klaus expanding his "Living Space". He also has a tendency to bring over his obnoxious friends without asking and has terrible taste in beer. For these reasons, Klaus and his bad hospitality are universally reviled in the House of Friendship and Camaraderie.
- In at least one reality, Klaus kidnapped and cryogenically froze an FBI Agent named Dick Jett, bringing him to the 21st century. As such, Dr. Mei-Ling Zhou takes a very dim view of his experiments with cryonics. Rather than trying to preserve things, Klaus clearly sees the technology as a way to torment those he dislikes by flinging them into a time period where they will have no frame of reference. Given that Mei herself fell victim to waking up in a future she dislikes, she prays that no other gods are willing to toy with human life like Klaus is.
- Due to his both raising and manipulation of the Mummy of Jefferson Davis as a pawn in his greater schemes, Klaus is intensely disliked by Anakaris. It is already bad enough that Klaus is an archetypical character that loves to exploit ancient Egyptian magic, but the fact that he specifically raised the mummy of a known pro-slavery White Supremacist sits even worse with the pharaoh-lord. Not helping matters is that this sequence of events is eerily similar to a proposed hypothetical replacement for the third adventure of Rick O'Connell.

New page means I can repost this! I'm still looking for interactions with characters who were late to something important, more cooks, or anything else you think would fit. Also, I couldn't think of anything for Gertrude, so sorry to whoever suggested an interaction with her.
