Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Anything left to say? Also, does anyone want to work on any of my approved ideas in here?
Roswell, New Mexico
, Divine City Of Mysterious Happenings In 1947 (All American City-Alien City)

- Hall: Administrative Centers (The Dominions Expansion)
- Description: A humble city in Chaves County, New Mexico, with some sights from ufologists to enjoy
- Symbol: Its flag and seal
- Alignment: True Neutral (usually associated with Lawful Neutral government agents)
- Portfolio: Roswell That Ends Well, Stock Unsolved Mysteries, Fodder For History Jokes, Government Cover-Ups, Real Event, Fictional Cause, supposed Area 51 connections
- Domains: American Cities, Rumor and Speculation, Weather Balloons (officially), Cold War technologies (most likely), Aliens, UFOs (unofficially)
- Notable visitors: The Planet Express crew sans Amy and Hermes, Roger Smith
- Barred entry: The Harvesters
- Roswell is a humble city that serves as the seat of Chaves County, New Mexico. Its home to the New Mexico Military Institute, and was a sight for much of Robert Goddard's early rocket works. With a population of about 42,000 Roswell is by all rights just a normal city in the state, and wouldn't be well-known were it not for something that happened on July 7 1947. Personnel from the air field recovered materials from a ranch outside Roswell. Initial press release stated that the materials resembled a "flying disc", but issued a correction that it was in fact a weather balloon. The Roswell Incident was forgotten for over 30 years, until ufologist Stanton Friedman interviewed Major Jesse Marcel about it in 1978. He claimed that the government had pressured him into silence about what they had seen: the object recovered from Roswell was a spacecraft containing alien bodies. In the '90s, the government offered a new explanation of the events: there was a coverup, but it was to hide the existence of Project Mogul. However, this couldn't change the fact that the idea of aliens, or some other strange event, happened that day. The city has found a tourism niche with ufology, and has even referenced it in the city seal.
- Something more of note: Roswell is the fifth largest city New Mexico, and home to their military institute. It's a center for irrigated farming, dairy, ranching, manufacturing, distribution and petroleum production. Of course let's face it, most are only interested because of the Roswell crash.
- Roswell's ascension wasn't something The Men in Black or the SCP Foundation were looking forward to. It had ascended previously, but they removed it from the Trope Pantheon for "security reasons". The city came back with a vengeance; while it is basically a replica of the "present day" Roswell, now it has a time portal in the air field that shows up about 100 feet above the city in 1947. The Elite Time Patrol Enforcers was assigned to take care of this problem. Strict regulations are made to prevent any paradox or alteration to the timeline. For now, it mainly serves as a way to look back in time to how that day of July 7, 1947 went. However, anyone with a time machine of their own, say Doc Brown and Marty McFly, doesn't have to follow these regulations. That said Emmett Brown doesn't plan to visit that time period, noting it's better if he doesn't go to a time where his younger self is present.
- It was a bit of a surprise to some that Area 51 wasn't dually ascended as part of a package deal, since that's usually where they move whatever happened in Roswell to. Of course, it does make some sense as the government would prefer people not connecting more dots than they already have. Bugs have said that off the record, where you really want to go stuff about the Roswell incident is Area 52. Some Russian deities wanted the Tunguska River to be ascended along with it since it has similar connotations, albeit its more generally agreed in real like to have just been a meteorite, but the Court of the Gods made clear it would have to make its own case for dominion-ship. Additionally, while the main focus of Roswell as a dominion is something that happened in 1947, 1973 was also an eventful year for the city as Cobra Bubbles managed to save the Earth from aliens convincing them mosquitos are an endangered species.
- The trope that the city of Roswell was ascended under is Roswell That Ends Well, and as the Trope Pantheon is a sort of hub/mass-crossover all in-fiction explanations are true, even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff. For the Doctor this wasn't exactly new. But the specific event that gave the trope its name is something the Planet Express crew is intimately aware of. Due to an accident involving a supernova and metal in the microwave, they (asides from Scruffy, Hermes and Amy) are behind the Roswell incident. The ship was Bender's body that got damaged from a crash, and Zoidberg was the alien. One could only imagine how Truman would react if he ascended. It's an incident Philip J Fry is rather sheepish about his time due to certain mistakes that made him his own grandfather. Because of his important yet not so intelligent existence the space-time co-ordinates are guarded by the Elite Time Patrol Enforcers as a high priority status.
- Zoidberg went to Roswell in order to find one of his four hearts that got dissected, as the crew forgot to collect it with his other dissectednote organs. However he ended up selling his ticket to the local buffet after getting swindled by "Ronnie Roswell", for a "I Crashed In Roswell And All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt" T-Shirt. Beheeyem was wearing another T-shirt, however instead of being swindled the Pokemon went along with it due to the fact it's implied the Elgyem line arrived in the Pokemon universe's equivalent of the Roswell incident. To Stan Smith's complete lack of surprise, "Ronnie Roswell" was a persona of Roger. Stan thought it was stupid for him to show up at the city he crashed to back in 1947, along with being confused that there were more aliens that crashed that day. Roger just said "hey it was a busy day" and justified his decision by saying he forgot some of his stuff at the crash site and figured if he was caught he could just say it was a cosplay.
- Not all aliens that crashed in Roswell were friendly. Granted, Roger isn't exactly friendly but compared to the Harvesters he's a saint. One of their spaceships crashed in Roswell and it was later used to make a computer virus against the mothership. As the Roswell crash was key to humanity's victory over them, they despise the city and regularly send drones to try and destroy the city. Because of this, the Men in Black have had to amp the security within the city of Roswell and develop secret defense networks. Likeminded gods in the Trope Pantheon have aided in their new project, UnderRoswell. Basically its an underground city meant to serve as a secret government stronghold, and study of alien and classified phenomena. Before developing it they first needed to locate where Bender's head was so as to not disrupt his trip back to the 31st century. Despite being intombed for over a millennium, he was actually enjoying it until his friends dug him up.
- Indiana Jones claims he was one of a team of 20 experts who were called in to analyze artifacts leftover from the saucer's wreckage. After an escape from Area 51, he's not exactly a trusted source. The SCP Foundation is rumored to have used amnestics on him in the past as Roswell is where an alien egg showed up
, one that just happens to look like a saucer. Compared to some of the stuff they contain they don't consider the Roswell incident too spectacular, as the alien was essentially just a big ambush predator for them. Really it's the reports of time travel in the region that grab their attention. Interestingly as well-known as the Planet Express' trip was (they won an Emmy for that episode), the Jupiter 2 crew did something similar "before it was cool". That said, they're not in the Roswell records since they landed in Michigan instead, and they were simply mistaken for aliens.
- The SCP Foundation sees Roswell as a point of interest even if the reported alien they found there was mundane by their standards. As alluded by Roger's visit, normalcy can be maintained with the excuse that any exposed alien is simple cosplay. The Bedtime Stories Crew saw past this excuse and booked a hotel in Roswell, to the surprise of basically nobody. The American West is home to a ton of supernatural and paranormal events, ranging from Wendigo sightings, Skinwalker encounters, and yes, alien (particularly The Greys). They've already made documentaries on several incidents of these kinds, so covering one of the classics was irresistible. "Ronnie Roswell" tried to scam them, but they're familiar enough with the paranormal that they could see through Roger's scheme.
- In an alternate history, BJ Blazkowicz infiltrated the Nazi-occupied Roswell to retrieve some secret technology. However it was terrestrial; created by a secretive cabal of Jewish scientists and inventors over a millennia before 1961. The ascended Nazi deities were intrigued by the numerous other aliens explanations which, due to the nature of the Trope Pantheon, were all true in the ascended dominion. The Red Skull has assigned Hans Landa to use his credentials to spy on activity in Roswell, in order to see if it has use for his planned Fourth Reich. Personally Col Landa thinks this is a waste of his talent, and (probably correctly) suspects this is some punishment for his past as a Turncoat. Conspiracy theorists had a field day imagining how it might match up with rumors of "Die Glocke" and Nazi UFOs.
- Dib Membrane regularly tries to sneak into Roswell's air bases in search of proof for alien evidence, much to Zim's concern and his father's annoyance. Due in part due to his adamant yet arbitrary disbelief of extraterrestrials Professor Membrane believes Roswell's UFO stories are nothing but a tourist trap and while he has no problem with his son visiting the city in general, he's more worried that he'll get in trouble in his pursuit of aliens. Zim is worried Dib will actually find something that could actually help him combat Irken technology. Chasing after him, the two ended up captured by Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse. He reverse-engineering the Daat Yichud technology and implementing it into Nazi German weapon and vehicle designs, and [[AlternateHistoryNaziVictory following the American surrender analyzed the location's research notes and artifacts. Scrounging for whatever he hasn't claimed, Dib and Zim were forced to work together to find their way out of their lair.
@Roswell, aside from the plothole error in the end of the last paragraph for the alternative history segment,
@Chaos: Hitch Trailblazer (of the New Mane 6) is a Creature of Habit, so I imagine they'd be enemies.

Izanagi, God of Blaming the Child For Childbed Death(Izanaki, Izanagi-no-Mikoto, Izanagi-No-Okami, Akemi Nakajima)
Insert images here
- Greater God, Demigod as Akemi Nakajima
- Symbol: The divine spear Ame-no-Sakahoko and divine sword Totsuka-no-Tsurugi
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral bordering on Neutral Good. Akemi Nakajima went from Neutral Evil to True Neutral
- Portfolio: Created the Japanese Islands with Izanami, Izanami was wife and sister, blamed Hi-no-Kagitsuchi for Izanami's death, gave birth to Amaterasu, Susano'o and Tsukyomi by himself, let Amaterasu become head of the gods
- Domains: Life, creation, fatherhood, computers
- Allies: The Investigation Team, especially Yu Narukami, Izanami(his ex-wife and sister), Amaterasu, Susano'o (his children) , Flynn, Cerberus, Ra
- Enemies: Lucifer, YHVH, Amatsu-Mikaboshi, Loki, Set
- The last generation of the Kamiyonanayo, Izanagi and Izanami were instructed by the other gods to go down to the Earth from its chaotic state into something more livable. To do this, they used the Ame-no-Nubuko/Ame-no-Sakahoko to create the first bit of earth, and then they proceated to create the Japanese islands as well as numerous deities to inhabit them. However, the good times were not meant to last: Izanami died when giving birth to the fire god Hi-no-Kagitsuchi. In grief and rage, Izanagi blamed the child and slew him with the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi.
- In order to attempt to get his wife back, Izanagi descended to Yomi, the land of the dead. Somehow he managed to find her in the pitch-black darkness, although he could obviously not see her. However, because she had eaten food cooked in the underworld, she could not return. Accounts differ on what happened next, but what is consistent is that he managed to light a fire and saw that Izanami was now a rotten corpse. Now filled with fear and disgust, Izanagi turned tail and began to escape back to the surface. To get back at him Izanami sent gods of thunder and legions of warriors, but Izanagi evaded them all and managed to escape and seal Yomi with a large boulder. Now fully a Woman Scorned, Izanami pronounced a curse that she would kill one thousand people every day, to which Izanagi replied that he would have one thousand five hundred people born each day to stop here.
- After coming back from Yomi, Izanagi sought to cleanse himself in a river in Ahakihara. From this purification ceremony many gods were born, and from the last step the "Three precious children" came about: Amaterasu from his left eye, Tsukyomi froim his right eye, and Sasano'o from his nose. He then proceeded to give each of these children a domain" to Amaterasu the heavenly abode of the gods; to Tsukyomi the night; and to Susano'o the sea. However, due to him either being too destructive, not keeping up wiht his duties, or cying too much Izanagi would expell Susano'o to the earth.
- In the 1980's Izanagi would be reincarnated as Akemi Nakajima, a high school student highly gifted in science in technology but prone to sociopathic behavior. In order to get back at some bullies, he combined magic and coding to create the first demon summoning program. With this program he summoned Loki, but he quickly released the error of his ways and vowed to stop the demon invasion he started. Whether in the original tale or the first Megaten game, he would ally and fall in love with Yumiko Shirasagi. Whether he was defeated by Lucifer's machinations (as in the books) or succceded in defending the human world (as in the games), the impact of creating the Demon summoning program would reverberate throughout the multiverse.
- As Amatsu-Mikaboshi went on a rampage in his quest to destroy it all, it seemed like there was nothing that could be done. However, when someone suggestion brining a creator god to oppose the destruction deity, Flynn remembered what he had heard from Stephen and Kazuya about the original creator of the Demon Summoning Program, and used his COMP to summon the creator. Luckily, Izanagi was drawn by Flynn's connections to the deities of Japan and responded, driving back Amatsu-Mikaboshi with a barrage of light.
- Now that he was in the Pantheon, Izanagi found it to be a relatively pleasant place and decided to stay to spend his "retirement" as well as watch over his family. However, when it came time to make an appeal to the court of the gods, it was found that only one relevant Trope was avalible: his blaming of Kagitsuchi for Izanami's death. He's not exactly proud of the moment, but he accepted the title.
- While the story of the conflict between Izanagi and Izanami is legendary, what is less well-known is that after what happened in the Megami Tensei universe the two have been trying to patch up their relationship and get back together (it helps that neither of them remarried). The eons of time they have spent apart sometimes makes communication difficult, but they're willing to work through it. In fact, as a token of reconciliation Izanagi has even promised to be nice to any children Izanami may have had with other lovers, such as Erice Utsumi. How Izanagi manages to keep a straight face while close to Izanami's true form is anyone's guess.
Izanagi: I've begotten myriad children by myself, so who am I to complain?
- While Izanagi technically created the three "miraculous children" by himself, they are technically counted as Izanami's children as well as they came about due to her influence. The two are happy that their parents have reconciled, but have different impression of their father.
- Amaterasu is without a doubt Izanagi's favorite child, being granted the domain of the Heavenly Realm as well as dominion over the heavenly gods. Izanagi is glad that her daughter has grown into a brave, wise, and assertive leader, a far cry from the maiden who retreated into a cave. He was especially impressed by the time when she was able to come back from the grave, defended the land from evil forces, and restored faith in the gods all while recovering her divine powers. Sometimes he will even take care of Chibaterasu when his mother is out for important business. It's suspected that as Amaterasu's father and a god with the epithet "Okami" he also has a wolf form, but no one has ever seen it.
- Despite having similarly impulsive and temperamental personalities, Izanagi and Susano'o do not get along in the slightest. After all, Izanagi was the one who expelled Susano'o form heaven in the first place, no matter what the actual reason was. Nowadays, the two still cannot stand to be in the same room as each other. Outside observers theorize that might be due to their similar personalities pushing on each other, as well as Susano'o always identifying more with his mother than his father. Despite this, Izanagi is at least a little pleased about how his was able to carve his own place among the earthly gods (even though he thinks that the concern over Yamata-no-Orochi is a bit much), even if he won't say it out loud. he's also proud of when the Nahobino beat Matter Lucifer, continuing the family tradition and fulfilling the purpose of the Proto-Fiends.
- While Izanagi technically created the three "miraculous children" by himself, they are technically counted as Izanami's children as well as they came about due to her influence. The two are happy that their parents have reconciled, but have different impression of their father.
- Due to Akemi Nakajima's role in creating the Demon Summoning Program as well as being the first Megaten protagonist, Izanagi's influence stretches far and wide even if he doesn't actually show up very often. He despises both the forces of Law and Chaos for constantly messing with humans and especially Japan through their schemes. In the Pantheon, he has taken it upon himself to help humans by being the Pantheon maintainer of the Demon Summoning Program, a mix of magic and technology that streamlines and facilitates the process of calling and making contracts with demons. This is useful as the code is full of otherwise indecipherable black boxes and its other creator Stephen is not currently in the Pantheon. Izanagi has no reservations about giving the program to humans, but he always tries to make sure that the new user is prepared for the risks involved with summoning demons and knows what they're getting into. He is pleased that the most powerful demon summoners generally use their newfound abilities with courage and conviction.
Izanagi: Ego, power, revenge: do not use demon summoning for these things. Trust me, I know.
- Due to the shared functionality of summoning a wide range of mythical figures, the Demon Summoning Program is often compared to summoning servants in Holy Grail Wars, especially more technological FATE system used by Chaldea. Beside being a misuse of the Counter Force's protection system, Izanagi considers servant summoning to be like a "kids version" where command seals provide safety but the servant containers restrict power; summoned demons are restricted by no safeguards but also have no limits on their power as long as enough magnetite/magatsuhi is provided. The existence of servants like Nursery Rhyme reminds some people of a time when it was unknown if the Demon Summoning Program actually brought demons from somewhere or created them out of whole cloth(the answer is a little bit of both). Don't ask Izanagi how demon fusion works; even he doesn't know what the Cathedral of Shadows or Gendotei actually do.
- Because his incarnation was the first Megami Tensei protagonist, Izanagi serves as a respected predecessor to all who followed. Therefore, he is on good terms with these protagonists, especially those he has met personally such as the Demi-Fiend or those who worked to defend Tokyo or Japan like Flynn. He's personally partial to Neutral, but respects the alignment choices of others as long as they had good reasons. What he doesn't like is how Law and Chaos seem to enforce a Sadistic Choice or lock in loyalty for innocuous decisions.
- In the modern age, Izanagi's most popular showing is probably as Yu Narukami's starting and ultimate personas. No one knows such an old and dignified god was dressed like a high-school delinquent, but given how other Personas look one could argue that it's no too out of place. Izanagi greatly admires Yu's leadership abilities, and likes the Investigation Team overall for their commitment to uncovering and helping people deal with the truth. On the other hand, he doesn't like Tohru Adachi nearly as much, with his murderous and self-centered actions reminding Izanagi of Akemi Nakajima's worst crimes.
- While Izanagi is not a fan of either the forces of Law or Chaos, he is especially antagonistic towards Lucifer due to their shared history. On the other hand, Lucifer actually respects Nakajima and therefore Izanagi for bringing regular humans the power to stand up to demons and angels and is actually quite friendly in their meetings. Not that it stops Izanagi from being hostile.
Lucifer: Why hello there Izanagi, nice weather we have today.Izanagi: Lucifer! Get off my lawn you fiend, or I will call the police on you.- Of course, the first demon Akemi summoned was Loki, who proceeded to...do some very age-inappropriate things. Izanagi hasn't forgotten about these things, but after being told about the multiversal nature of the Pantheon as well as Loki's penchant for incarnating into different people, he's agreed to hold off on any revenge plans...for now. That being said, he is very perplexed by the trickster god's seeming Heel–Face Turn and doesn't think it will stick. On the matter of Atreus, the second "Loki" who is Kratos's son, Izanagi is not actually very worried as he sees Kratos as an ultimately good parent who put his son on the right track.
- During his story, Akemi Nakajima also did battle with Set. Izanagi does feel a little bad about about how he was demonized over time, but still doesn't make up for the evil things he does. However, because Ra regards Set as a god very important to the Egyptian cosmic balance, Izanagi has decided to not interact with him for the time being.
- Although he's technically not technically the head of his Pantheon, Izanagi is still a highly respected god and therefore makes an effort to create and extend relations with other mythological pantheons.
- As a creator god who eventually resigned his position to his children, Ra and Izanagi can be considered counterparts.
- Zeus? Odin?
- Due to his conflict with Amatsu-Mikaboshi and his status as a creator god, it is natural that Izanagi would not be a fan of the GUAD. To that end, Izanagi tries his best to make sure that anyone associated with the alliance does not have access to the Demon Summoning program, although he can't fully stop access.
I found a pretty good image in this website called Curious Ordinary
, which details a bunch of Japanese and Chinese myths and legends. I tried to upload that image of Izanagi by himself for you, but got warned me that it was too small... I'll keep looking, but you might have to settle for images of Izanagi with Izanami, or go without an image. The template does say "if possible", so it's not essential.
EDIT- Although, seeing how you're including incarnations of Izanagi from Persona and Digital Devil Story, maybe images from those could suffice? After all, images from Smite is used for a great many mythological deities in the Pantheon.
On a different note, finished my fourth draft for the Hex Girls and Chaos. Decided to just try and make up a relationship between the Hex Girls and Scrappy-Doo, so lemme know what y'all think. As well as how the entries for Ren and Hitch in Chaos' profile looks lol I wouldn't be surprised if I messed up Ren's description. Aside from those, still looking for overall interactions but I think I'll start accepting thumbs now. Besides, anyone can update these profiles with new interactions anyway, right? I've certainly noticed that for The Wolf.

- The Hex Girls are an all-girl rock band of "eco-goths" (emphasis on the goth) who met with Mystery Incorporated when the gang traveled to the trio's hometown of Oakhaven at the invitation of famed horror author, Ben Ravencroft, whereupon the "meddling kids" had to solve the mystery of Ben's ancestor, Sarah Ravencroft, terrorizing the town as a ghost witch. The Hex Girls were one of the initial suspects due to their seeming use of magic, but in the end the Hex Girls would help Mystery Incorporated figure out and defeat the true culprits. Ever since then, the Hex Girls would become recurring allies to Mystery Incorporated, meeting with the group again in Australia and Transylvania, and even appearing in the Mystery Incorporated universe, providing no small amount of help to the gang each time.
- The Hex Girls ascended into the Pantheon when they were invited to perform in the Pantheon's music festival, at the recommendation of Mystery Incorporated. The Hex Girls proved so popular with the festival crowd that when the band had to return home after its end, the Court of the Gods became swarmed with cries for their ascension. The Court struggled a bit in finding a trope for the Hex Girls, as the most relevant ones were either occupied or reserved, but they managed to find a vacant trope that suited the band in "Music Genre Dissonance", as the Hex Girls' discography is primarily Alternative Rock as opposed to Goth Rock as their name and theme implies. And despite calling themselves "eco-goths", the Hex Girls only have one nature-themed song. While the Hex Girls aren't the most satisfied with their given trope, they were overjoyed to join their friends in the Pantheon and getting to perform in the biggest and most fun place ever.
- It goes without saying that the Hex Girls and Mystery Incorporated are the closest of allies, and while the goth band would rather focus on their music and tours, they're happy to lend a hand to their mystery-solving friends. Especially as the Mystery Gang have been of great help to the Hex Girls in stopping so many threats to their music careers. Thorn, Dusk, and Luna generally assist the gang by providing emotional support or lending their expertise as musicians, such as identifying music notes to reveal an important clue. The latter of which proved crucial for the Mystery Incorporated of Crystal Cove near the end of their overarching mystery. And in being a rock band, the Hex Girls can also serve as bait for any monster menace the gang are after, usually with one of Mystery Incorporated playing along with the girls to help catch the culprit. Certainly helps that each member of the Mystery Gang are actually pretty darn good at playing instruments, with Daphne standing out as a great vocalist.
- Ascending into the Pantheon allowed for the Hex Girls to meet other deities from their world that they never got to interact with before: Scrappy-Doo and the Evil Entity. Of course, none of the girls like the Evil Entity at all on account of it being a thoroughly evil Cosmic Horror that wants to literally consume all life. The Hex Girls are relieved that Mystery Inc. were able to kill that rogue anunnaki in their home universe, wiping him from existence in the process, and are more than willing to help the gang and their allies fight the Evil Entity within the Pantheon. Even if the most the three can provide is motivational rock music. The Hex Girls' relationship with Scrappy-Doo is comparatively warmer, but more neutral than anything. The eco-goths certainly understand why Scrappy has such an infamous reputation in the Pantheon and is now only on speaking terms with the Mystery Incorporated, while Scrappy is envious of the Hex Girls for being one-shot characters who got popular enough to become recurring allies with his old gang. But Luna and even Thorn don't hold any real dislike for Scrappy, finding his attempts to fight monsters thrice his size more amusing than annoying (Dusk, being the most short-tempered of the three, isn't so tolerant), and Scrappy is willing to give credit where credit is due: the Hex Girls are a cool trio. As of now, the Hex Girls (mainly Luna and Thorn) and Scrappy have a mutual respect for each other, with the latter becoming an occasional part of the audience to the former's concerts. But otherwise, they're acquaintences at most.
- Naturally, the Hex Girls got acquainted with if not befriended other rock musicians within the Pantheon. They're particularly good friends with other all-girl rock bands, such as Houkago Tea Time. The Hex Girls were impressed with Houkago Tea Time going from novice musicians to hosting concerts for their school, despite their tendency for laziness. The goth rockstars are also very impressed with Hitori Gotoh's skill with the electric guitar and often invite her to their temple to practice with them, in part to help the girl overcome her crippling anxiety. The Hex Girls also encourage Aoi Tategami's drive to become a rock star and give her and her band some pointers on working in the music industry.
- The trio were unsure of Astaroth at first, being a demon who formerly embodied a sin. But on learning that Astaroth is the nicest and kindest of the demons from her home universe, performing concerts strictly because she loves singing and not to attract followers, the Hex Girls were willing to give Astaroth a chance and offered to let her perform with them; can't get a more gothic member to the band than a demon of melancholy, after all. However, out of both apathy and shyness, Astaroth declined, though she does attend the Hex Girls' concerts when given the opportunity.
- Needless to say, the Hex Girls also get along the best with other goths in the Pantheon, especially the perky kind. Thus far they have the closest relationship with Sam Manson, a friendly goth girl who is also an outspoken environmentalist. Although Sam tends to be hypocritical on that front, as well as refusing to admit fault for any wrongdoing on her part, which the Hex Girls don't approve of. But they know that Sam's heart is in the right place and assist Sam in her more sincere causes. The Hex Girls also bonded with Sam over having to deal with supernatural threats almost all of the time, mainly in the form of ghosts. Even if Sam's ghosts are far more real than what the Hex Girls deal with alongside Mystery Incorporated (save the very first). Similarly, the Hex Girls are good friends with Ranko Kanzaki even though they (mostly Dusk) find her... Pretentious. Luna and Thorn are understanding enough to know that Ranko's "demon lord facade" is a cover for her insecurities, though all three get along well with Ranko since she's an overall nice goth girl who is even an Idol Singer just like themselves. Unbeknownst to the Hex Girls, though, Ranko actually finds their brand of "goth" too spooky for her but pretends to love it so they wouldn't judge her for it. Of course only Dusk would be judgemental, but in the most jesting way possible.
- The Hex Girls being Eco-Goths made them immediate allies with Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Although finding them corny in a few ways, the Hex Girls praise Captain Planet and the Planeteers for directly fighting against pollution, and are more than willing to help them via using their music platform to spread environmental messages. Likewise, the Hex Girls are firm enemies with those who would pollute or otherwise defile the environment, such as the Eco-Villains whom Captain Planet and the Planeteers regularly fight, and Hexxus, the God of Pollution himself.
- The Hex Girls got acquainted with the Bedtime Stories Crew after being introduced to them by the Mystery Gang, being another group that investigates mysteries of the spooky kind. Although the Bedtime Stories Crew tackle stuff much more horrifying than what Mystery Inc. and the Hex Girls have dealt with (with few exceptions). Nonetheless, the Hex Girls like the BSC's style and the crew themselves enjoy the Hex Girls' music. However, things got a bit awkward when the Bedtime Stories Crew learned of Thorn's witch ancestry and desired to investigate that, which Thorn isn't very accepting of.
- On that note, a little known fact about Thorn is that she is 1/16th Wiccan on her mother's side, which in her home universe are "good witches" as opposed to being a practitioner of the Wicca religion. This combined with the Hex Girls' first involvement with the Mystery Gang having been centered around the ghost of a witch got the trio the attention of some witches throughout the Pantheon. Among them, the Hex Girls, Thorn especially, has the closest bond with Agatha Prenderghast, who in many ways is like Sarah Ravencroft (or at least what she initially was thought to be); being an innocent person who was persecuted for witchcraft and would return as a Vengeful Ghost centuries after death. But while Sarah turned out to actually be an evil witch who deserved punishment, Agatha was just a little girl who could interact with the dead and was executed out of irrational fear by the Puritans of Blithe Hallow. Although Agatha had calmed down and come to terms with her unfortunate fate, the Hex Girls still feel bad for the girl and do what they can to further sheer her up: Thorn in particular often visiting Aggie in her temple to sing lullabies.
- The three met Marceline when she was practicing her guitar skills and singing within the House of Musicality one day, and they immediately hit it off with the Vampire Queen; being impressed with Marceline's music skill and vibing with her vampiric appearance. Certainly helps that Marceline, barring moments of immorality, is one of the friendliest vampires in the Pantheon. Marcie doesn't even need to drink blood, just anything with the color red. Although that put Thorn and Luna a bit on edge, considering Luna's red hair and Thorn's red clothing.
Chaos, God of Being Allergic to Routine (The Master Trickster, Master of Surprise, the Unpredictable)

- Intended House: Hobbies and Lifestyles
- Overdeity
- Symbol: His necklace/collar.
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Portfolio: Chaos Personified, Easily bored and seeks to entertain himself, Above Good and Evil, Omnipotent Reality Warper, Large Ham, Cats Are Snarkers, Affably Chaotic unless angered, Does NOT tolerate being given orders, The Chessmaster, Great Gazoo, The Dreaded
- Domains: Chaos, Unpredictability, Fun, Anti-Routine
- Heralds: Evil Aladdin and Evil Genie
- Allies: Cheshire Cat, Discord, Mister Mxyzptlk, The Collector,
- Enemies: Ren Fujii, Lord Chaos/Jack Garland, Hitch Trailblazer
- Annoys: Garfield
- Annoyed By: Destiny of the Endless
- On good terms with: Aladdin, Jasmine, The Genie, Abu, Iago
- Disorder incarnate of Aladdin's world, Chaos is an all-powerful entity who prides himself on being unpredictable and is always out to cause mischief: to make mundane, boring situations fun and exciting. Even if said mischief results in people getting humiliated or hurt. Chaos was drawn to Aladdin's home of Agrabah when he paid the Evil Sorceress, Mirage, a visit to her domain and she attempted to trick the spirit of disorder into destroying the kingdom for her by convincing him that Agrabah was a boring place, which Chaos just had to "correct". Being the Master Trickster, however, Chaos saw through Mirage's trickery and decided to teach her a lesson by orchestrating events in Agrabah so Mirage would end up saving the city from destruction. Though Aladdin and friends had to endure Chaos' mischief in the process, with the blue cat creating an Evil Twin to both Aladdin and Genie for them to overcome. In the end, Chaos deemed Agrabah and Aladdin himself to be "exciting" enough for him and left to cause excitement elsewhere, but promised that he'd return should Aladdin become "boring".
- Being a powerful god of his world, Chaos always had an awareness of the Pantheon but was too busy trying to liven up his universe to take a look at the Pantheon. One day, Chaos succeeded in making every part of his world "exciting" and with it decided to give the Pantheon a visit. After taking a full covert tour, Chaos initially thought the Pantheon to be a very interesting, un-boring realm that he could "vacation" in. However, the Unpredictable soon noticed that the Pantheon largely operated under a status quo; many deities doing the same things every day with little to no changes or suprises in their day to day lives. A very mundane, routine existence. Needless to say, Chaos decided that the Pantheon was in desperate need of his services and has stuck around for good, constantly on the search for mischief.
- Unlike most deities, Chaos did not go through the normal ascension process by being appointed a title by the Court of the Gods or even a high ranked deity. Chaos just deemed himself part of the Pantheon and nothing more. After all, tropes are so predictable and cliched, and Chaos would only visit bureaucrats and law makers/enforcers that is the Court of the Gods to wreak chaos onto them. This breach of process angered the Court of the Gods, to say the least, and they attempted to kick Chaos out of the Pantheon but immediately experienced Chaos' wrath for daring to give him orders. Realizing the futility in fighting Chaos, letting alone kicking him out, the Court of the Gods had no choice but to accept Chaos' presence and gave him the official designation of "God of Allergic to Routine", given his disdain for the ordinary and habitual. Chaos was initially displeased at having a trope forced onto him, but he quickly took a liking to it since the trope is as unpredictable as he.
- Chaos swiftly became known by all within the Pantheon as the blue cat would unexpectedly appear to many deities during their day-to-day life and upends it in some way or another. Those who frequently shop find their purchases shuffled around with others without notice, a hot and sunny day at the beach would suddenly become a blizzard, and business meetings would get interrupted by singing monkeys. Wherever Chaos goes, unpredictable nonsense follows. And possessing such incredible magic, very few deities can hope to defeat Chaos. It is simply fortunate that Chaos is not a malicious trickster, his brand of chaos being high-level pranks whose destructive effects get cleared up if not reversed eventually. Chaos aims to cause fun and excitement, and the fun and excitement of destruction has its limits. There's also no fun to be had with death, with some exceptions.
- Indeed, unlike a great many "chaos embodiments" in the Pantheon, Chaos isn't 'Evil'. Highly dangerous and unpredictable, but Chaos considers 'Evil' to be boring and loves to mess with evil-aligned deities who are particularly obsessed with their evil plans. Though Chaos also considers 'Good' to be boring, with a particular dislike for heroes who "always win". For Chaos, his alignment is simply "interesting vs. boring", and hence he's as heroic or as villainous depending on which is more entertaining. Of course, as far as the Pantheon's concerned, Chaos is 'Chaotic Neutral' of the most hedonistic variety, with special emphasis on 'Chaotic'.
- Soon after "ascending", Chaos got reacquainted with Aladdin, Jasmine, the Genie, Abu, and Iago, who were all very surprised to see blue cat again: having never seen him since his visit to Agrabah. Though after the initial shock settled, their reactions to Chaos were a lot more varied. Aladdin was the "warmest" to Chaos, regarding him as a Friendly Rival of sorts. Jasmine was apprehensive at best with the blue cat, given how he ruined a diplomatic meeting in her palace and then shrunk her to the size of an ant for ordering him to leave. Genie and Abu were scared out of their wits by Chaos' arrival to the Pantheon, Genie especially as he knows (and experienced) firsthand the power Chaos possesses. And Iago was beyond pissed to see Chaos again, having never forgiven the entity for turning his head into that of a human and being the most troublesome nuisance Agrabah had to endure. Nonetheless, Chaos maintains cordial relations with Aladdin and friends since they continue to be interesting to him, and on the very rare occasion Chaos would actually lend a hand in any serious jam Aladdin finds himself in. Helps that many of Aladdin's enemies are the type whom Chaos deems boring, though the blue cat always makes sure to repay Aladdin with a "game" for helping, regardless if Aladdin wanted that help to begin with or not.
- One of the things Chaos most looked forward to upon visiting the Pantheon was to meet the many "embodiments of chaos" from other worlds, and he wasn't disappointed on encountering them. In particular, Chaos developed a close friendship with Discord, the "chaos god" of Equestria who is very similar to Chaos himself behavior and morality-wise: being a more benign force of chaos who aims to break stagnation with excitement and tricks, albeit in unpredictable and dangerous ways. Certainly helps that Chaos finds Discord an extremely interesting individual, being a mash-up of all sorts of animals at once and his home being exactly what Chaos desires for everywhere. Discord himself appreciates Chaos for being another "chaos personification" who doesn't want to mindlessly destroy or enslave everything, and also loves the blue cat's style.
- Although not a chaos god proper, Chaos also gets along swimmingly with Mister Mxyzptlk, an imp from the fifth dimension who regularly uses his extra-dimensional nature to cause trouble on the third dimension of his native universe. Goes without saying that Chaos finds Mister Mxyzpltk's mischief highly amusing and also strongly approves of the fifth dimensional imp's pranking of Superman, whom Chaos finds to be a hero who wins too much. Mxyzpltk in turns enjoys Chaos' company and has taken to collaborating with the winged cat for all sorts of mischievous antics across the Pantheon. In a similar vein, the Collector is no chaos deity but a child belonging to a species of immortal reality warpers who had once turned the Boiling Isles into an everlasting game for themself to play in, which naturally piqued Chaos' interest. The Collector, however, had since realized how harmful their games were to everyone and is wary of Chaos due to his idea of "fun" being little different from those games. Nonetheless, Chaos views the Collector a friend and the Collector in turn is willing to consider Chaos an ally of sorts, since he's at least not as bad as other chaos-aligned gods.
- However, Chaos doesn't get along with all chaos gods or embodiments within the Pantheon. Lord Chaos from the Final Fantasy-verse, in particular, thinks that the blue cat's use of immense power is wasteful and unfitting of the name "Chaos". Chaos, of course, thinks that the God of Discord is the most ill-fitting for his name, being mostly a tyrant who sits on his throne all the time and orders minions to everything for him. Chaos is also aware of Lord Chaos' origins and sees him as nothing more than an abandoned Psycho Prototype Tyke-Bomb that got trapped in an endless cycle of war and time loops, resulting in a Suicidal Cosmic Temper Tantrum. Chaos also doesn't approve of Jack Garland's (one of Lord Chaos' personas) yelling out "We're here to kill Chaos!", even though he means a different Chaos.
- Given that he takes the form of a blue winged cat, Chaos attracted the attention of feline deities in the Pantheon and gets associated with them. Among the cat deities, Chaos has the closest relationship with the Cheshire Cat; a reality-warping feline from Wonderland who loves to play tricks on people, usually by disappearing and reappearing all over the place. As it happens, Chaos often likes to manifest as a floating head (or at least a floating grin with eyes) just like the Cheshire Cat, and consequently the two consider each other kindred spirits. The entire Pantheon could only groan in annoyance with Chaos and Cheshire's partnership as now that have to deal with two unkillable, reality-bending tricksters.
- Of course, not all felines in the Pantheon approve of Chaos', well, chaos. Garfield in particular finds Chaos to be one of the most annoying individuals he's ever had to put up with. And considering he lives with Odie 24/7, that's saying something. This came to no surprise to most within the Pantheon as Garfield loves his routine of sleeping and eating lasagna, so someone who actively seeks to ruin such routines like Chaos gets on Garfield's nerves. Unfortunately for the orange cat, his desire to maintain his lazy lifestyle only makes Chaos all the more eager to liven it up one way or another.
- Loathe as he is to admit, Chaos isn't the most powerful entity of his world. There are others of equal if not greater power to himself, and one such entity Chaos likes the least is 'Fate'. As the blue cat put it to Aladdin and friends when he first met them, "Predestination goes against the grain. Besides, he cheats at cards!" And indeed, Chaos is unable to defy or change what is decreed by Fate, such as chosen individuals (like Aladdin) "always winning". Chaos hoped that the Pantheon would be spared such nonsense, but soon learned of the House of Prophecy and Fate with the all-time embodiment of fate, destiny, and prophecy as one of it's leaders: Destiny of the Endless. Although Destiny isn't one to cheat at cards, or play them for that matter, he holds a book that tells him the fates of everyone and everything, himself included! Chaos doesn't like that one bit as this means that everything is locked into the ultimate routine, and he himself is powerless to challenge those fates. If it weren't a potential danger to all existence, nor Destiny (and the Endless in general) being one of the few things in the Pantheon who could outmatch himself, Chaos would burn that Book of Destiny to frost and then feed that to hippos. So for the time being, Chaos is coming up with a myriad of ways to bypass each and every possible destiny. Destiny is not amused by Chaos' intentions, not taking kindly to those who would wants to screw himself and has started taking measures against the blue cat.
- And yet, Chaos found a deity to loathe even more in the form of Ren Fujii, one of his "neighbors" in the Hall of Hobbies and Lifestyles. It's one thing to be the ultimate Creature of Habit, the antithesis to Chaos' disdain for routine, but Ren was able to make his desire for a simple and predictable life into a law for his universe, freezing it into an eternal stagnation. Though Ren realized how terrible that was for the world, Chaos is still enraged that a whole universe could be subjected to such a cruel existence. And that Ren maintains a preference for a habitual life made the Master Trickster decide to start disrupting Ren's life as much as possible, much to the boy's chagrin.
- Another notable Creature of Habit in the Pantheon whom Chaos gained a dislike for is Hitch Trailblazer. The blue cat finds most of the other deities from Equestria "interesting" enough to like, but Hitch sticks out like a sore thumb to Chaos due to his love of routine; refusing to shake things up, even when beloved family members want to try something different for the holidays. The fact that Hitch is a law enforcer of his home town who once put a ban on magic only cemented Chaos' dislike of the pony and deemed him another prime target for chaos. Needless to say, Hitch doesn't like Chaos at all for his routine disruptions and has started studying ways to ward that winged cat away.

Why not?
Oh and I have been wondering on the Pantheon's Professional Wrestling section. Mainly on the gods that are listed in WWE even if they are contracted to AEW. Some people are really in need of profile updates. I.e. Bray Wyatt being dead for 11 months, Edge (Wrestler) being in AEW, Bryan Danielson being in AEW, etc.
Rough draft of Gantu. I would appreciate more allies and enemies; I am having a bit of struggle developing more substantial flavor text. What should I use for Gantu's symbol?
Captain Gantu, God of Net Guns (Captain Gantu, Big Dummy)

- Hall: Firearms (House of Weapons)
- Lesser God
- Symbol: TBA
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral (was Neutral Evil when working under Dr Hamsterveil)
- Portfolio: Hero Antagonist turned Anti-Villain Until He Reforms Due To His Boss Mistreating Him, formerly The Heavy, Space Cop, Was More Of A Humorous And Sympathetic Employee Compared To Hamsterveil, His Blaster Shoots Nets To Capture Perps, Your Size May Vary, Was Less Of A Threat As An Outright Villain, now a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Bickers With Reuben But Considers Him A Friend, Capable Of Passing Himself Off As Samoan, Large and in Charge
- Domains: Hired Guns (formerly), Law Enforcement, Aliens, Capture, Failure, Redemption
- Interested in: the SCP Foundation
- Allies: Reuben/Experiment 625 (Vitriolic Best Buds type), Felonius Gru, Elmer Fudd, Inspector Jarvet
- Former ally: Experiment 627
- Odd Friendship with: Squidward Tentacles, The Team Rocket Trio
- On good terms with: Team Lightyear, the Green Lantern Corps, The Space Sherriffs
- On speaking terms with: Lilo Pelekai and Stitch, the other Experiments, Cobra Bubbles (his former enemies), E.T the Extraterrestrial
- Enemies: Dr Jacques von Hamsterviel (his former boss), Leroy, Experiment 627, Cell, Bruce the Shark, Pokemon Hunter J
- Opposes: Pokemon "Trainer" Rusty
- On poor term with: SCP-1171-1/Beauremont
- Wary of: Mewtwo, Shadow the Hedgehog
- Captain Gantu was a powerful and towering captain of the Galactic Federation's armada. When Experiment 626, later known as Stitch, escaped he was in charge of capturing him. Ultimately failing at this and getting in additional hot water for capturing Lilo, he was fired and eventually found recruitment under Dr Jacques on Hamsterviel, in order to claim the other 625 experiments. For a time, he was the much-bemoaned agent of Hamsterviel having been stranded on Earth with Experiment 625, often being looked down upon by his new boss; not helped by his continuous failure to get useful experiments. Eventually he would break him out of prison after the other experiments found their one true home, only to be replaced by the effective new experiment Leroy. Sick of long-standing mistreatment, he decided to help Lilo and Stitch, eventually redeeming himself and getting his old job back. He's a gruff and tough lawman, but he has a silly side and he get along with Reubennote like an old married couple.
- Gantu's arrival into the Trope Pantheon was due to him being sent by the Grand Councilwoman of the United Galactic Federation, in order to investigate it due to the presence of multiple experiments and associates there, alongside with his former boss turned enemy. He was intrigued but also exasperated by all the massive activity in the pantheon, and was kind of annoyed by Reuben for not informing of it beforehand. This jolted Reuben's memory and he remembered to give Gantu an invitation that'd be gathering dust for sometime; the position as the god of net guns. His primary tool of capture is a blaster that fires nets, which he had tried capturing experiments with. Despite being able to lift 3000 times his own weight, not even Stitch can get out of them. Lilo was glad to see that he made it, and the captain found there were many hostiles in the Trope Pantheon that his signature weapon could be put to good use. His turn to good was seen as a disappointment by Experiment 627 due to their past team up. Gantu now sees 627 as basically everything he hated in the "little trog" Stitch, and he's not wrong, since 627 is meant to be "626, but totally evil and extra everything".
- He used to be a herald of Dr Hamsterviel, and he's still rather bitter at the fact. Namely, he doesn't think the pantheon got the memo he stopped working for him and hated the jerk's constant disrespect. The confusion came from rumors he had found employment after being fired for really bad singing. Gantu's response was "What?! That's so stupid! Why would anyone believe that?" That being said, it's true that he can't sing to save his life, with his karaoke performances being compared to Squidward's clarinet sessions. Unlike Squidward he's well aware it's not his talent. The two seem to get along in spite of initially seeming like they had little in common with. Despite their foibles they tend to be the straight man in their surroundings and feel quite underappreciated with their lot in life. Also, misfortune follows them like a plague, though sometimes they'll get a break. So as Lilo quickly realized, they actually did have a good bit to bond over after all. More obvious comparison were made between him and Inspector Jarvet, who Gantu has taken a liking to due to his own exasperations and role in law enforcement. Gantu also likes Elmer Fudd, as he sympathizes with his hopeless pursuit of "the the wabbit" and desire to prove himself.
- Another reason for his resentment at being listed as a herald was because, as a bad guy, he wasn't very good at it. He's kind of like the Team Rocket trio in that he's a lot more effective as a good guy or working for the law. In spite of being on opposite sides of the law he's fond of said trio to an extent, as their schemes to try and fail to steal Pokemon reminds him of his pursuit of experiments. It was far from a highlight, but it makes him sympathetic to their struggle. He wishes they could break out of their criminal ways but if when they pursue more legitimate pursuits like Pokemon contests or selling merch he's rooting for them. Or, of course, against greater evils he hates, like Pokemon Hunter J. While J also tries to kidnap powerful creatures like Gantu did, that's where any comparisons end; Hunter J is a sociopath willing to kill kids to get what she wants. Also of note, Gantu is appalled by the abusive stupidity of Rusty towards his Pokemon. Him and Reuben might argue a lot, but at the end of the day they still care about each other. On a lighter note, he's mildly interested in the Alola region since it the Mon equivalent of Hawaii. That interest has furthered upon getting notification by the Grand Councilwoman of the Ultra Beasts, though she's stated that he should probably let the locals deal with any problem they cause.
- Due to his past involvement with the Earth he is considered someone of note by the Men in Black, though Cobra Bubbles has spoken up that he's not someone to be worried about. However some eyerolls were made at how he didn't really do much to hide his alien identity. Gantu didn't think he needed to do much, as just saying he was Samoan tended to work out for him. A native of the Kreplok system, he looks like a bipedal whale and/or shark and will sometimes get mistaken for one. With this in mind, he decided to make extra cash by finding and capturing Bruce the Shark, who he found a lot easier to net and catch than the shark-like Experiment 602note . Because of his past actions he was distrusted to an certain extent by E.T, due to how government agents tried to capture him, but after talking he realized he had nothing to worry about. He was curious as to if the SCP Foundation might want his help, but they largely see him as irrelevant. The only job they decided to give him is check on SCP-1171-1 and make sure he wouldn't threaten normalcy. Gantu isn't too fond of Beauremont as he's the alien equivalent of a racist redneck, but he's pretty much harmless.
- "A former villain who now joined a type of law enforcement" is a description that works with one Felonius Gru, who has access to a variety of gadgets and devices. Gantu was impressed to see that a human had managed to invent such technology, and gave a proposal; while he's made peace with Jumba's experiments, there are other bio-weapons and artificial lifeforms that the United Galactic Federation would appreciate contained or even eliminated. The idea of getting prestige from helping do this is appealing for Captain Gantu, though he also wants to do the right thing. Due to their checkered pasts he has his reservations on the artificial "Ultimate Lifeform" Mewtwo and Shadow, though much like Stitch they long since proven no longer hostile and unnecessary conflict with them might risk his job security. He is curious as to how Jumba would react to them should he ever ascend. There is, however, one experiment that embodies absolutely everything the Federation feared about Experiment 626 and more; Cell. Seeing as how Cell can destroy an entire solar system the Net Gun and whatever tools Gantu could use to capture him are nothing, and Cell has as little respect for Gantu as he does Mr Satan. However Gantu vows somehow, he will get the aid necessary to stop something as vile as Cell from continuing to exist.
@Gantu If the Pantheonic Voice Actor Database is still being used. I would factor in a section for those that sound like Gantu. Kevin Michael Richardson's part has only three parts according to it but I feel like that's just down to lack of upkeep. Slightly relevant to Gantu would be the 2012 Shredder due to menace, connection to aliens, and Shredder vs Gantu's drive for their actions. There's also Transformers: Prime's Bulkhead but Gantu and Bulkhead are only connected by being big and clumsy sometimes.
EDIT: I found that Kilowog is already in the Pantheon. So since Kevin Michael Richardson did Kilowog in Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and you already said Gantu was on good terms with Green Lanterns, you have meat for something of a section between Gantu and Kilowog.

We don't use the Voice Actor Database anymore, nor do we base interactions purely off of shared voice actors nowadays.
@Khaotic Kane: Probably allies to Sheogorath? All Daedric Princes are chaotic in some fashion, and Sheogorath embodies that the most because he's the total inverse of the most orderly of the Princes, Jyggalag, when cursed by the other Princes for fear of Jyggalag's power and had this Jekyll-and-Hyde-like situation until it was broken when they became two separate beings.
Aside from being pretty chaotic, Sheogorath also has a place in the Khajiiti Pantheon. To the Khajiit, he is the Skooma Cat.
Be awed. Or be awestruck. This is the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary.@KaoticKanine —
for the Hex Squad and Chaos Cat.
@Matchingbone — Just to double-check, but were you a former contributor to the Pantheon and are you interested in contributing to the project, be it making/rework profiles and/or doing maintenance work like wick-checking/cleaning and reorganizing the database? If you're in for contribution, what particular works and franchises either interest you or you happen to be a fan of?
WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!![]()
Looking into Sheo, he and Chaos would absolutely be allies! And that connection with the Khajiit certainly adds an extra dimension to things lol
As it happens, Chaos got all five votes along with the Hex Girls for an immediate ascension ^^; It's allowed to postpone an ascension for any reason, right? I have to sleep right now for work, and I ain't going to be free until the afternoon. If not, I guess Sheo's entry can be added to Chaos' profile after...?
No prob!
Very glad to be of help.
