Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

- Difficult relationship with: Kisuke Uzuki, Simon Petrikov, Excalibur

- Originally found in the Kalos region, Honedge is a Steel/Ghost type sword possessed by a departed spirit. The tassel is an appendage it uses to attach to others and drain their life-force. At level 35 it evolves into the dual-bladed Doublade, and via a Dusk Stone they combine into something stronger than the sum of its parts; Aegislash. This haunted blade possesses the unique ability of Stance Change; it will shift from a defensive Shield Forme to Blade Forme when using a damaging move, and return either through being switched out or using King's Shield. King's Shield is a useful signature move that functions like Protect, except dropping the opponent's physical attack. Generations of kings were attended by these Pokemon, which used their spectral power to manipulate and control people and Pokemon. Apparently, it can detect the innate qualities of leadership
- Aegislash was actually a member of the early Trope Pantheon, sharing a profile with fellow Kalos native Chesnaught due to its own Spiky Shield. While initially removed and seen as outdated, the Royal Sword Pokemon's worth was re-evaluated as its signature ability and move made it a genuinely good fit for the Defend Command. Close range fighters should beware its return, as King's Shield will ensure that those who attack the blade head-on will do more harm to themselves. The notification for his return as a solo act came from an unfortunate incident where someone mistook Aegislash for a regular sword in the Hall of Swords and Sabres, finding themselves drained and weak. Aegislash hates it when anyone tries to wield him like a sword (not like anyone can get a good grip on the handle), and will only even entertain the idea if he finds them worthy. One of the very few he has dubbed worthy and capable is the goddess Athena, who proves a lot more principled than her father and utilizes his namesake, the Aegis shield.
- Many kings in Pokemon's past have wielded the power of an Aegislash to manipulate others, though this does not mean Aegislash will accept anybody who happens to be king...well, at least this one. Typically, an Aegislash will determine who has the right nature to be king. Hunter J seeks to sell off the sword to Caligulas like Scar, who desire the power of the Pokemon, however Aegislash opposes these efforts not just out of concern for his own person but because he opposes usurpers like Scar as they are without a doubt unworthy. The inept, the incompetent and the unlawful rulers are beings he inherently dislikes, though as far as J is concerned if this attitude doesn't ultimately interfere with her bottom line she doesn't care. She's not the only Pokemon deity that seeks the blade; Giovanni considers Aegislash a valuable tool. He initially sent the Team Rocket trio to pilfer Aegislash and see if they could take Aegislash on without the twerps interfering, only for them to lose badly. This was mainly a test to prove Aegislash wasn't a weakling in any way, much to said trio's annoyance.
- Has a kinship with Diancie. With the latter's quadruple weakness to Steel types this seems ironic at first glance, but it's actually quite fitting for those who know the two; Diancie is the princess/acting ruler of Carbink, and one who has proven her worth as a leader. Though Aegislash fails to cover up their shared Ground weakness, his use of Sacred Sword helps her deal with more troublesome Steel types. A lot of the time, though, it is more dealing with the pestering of Sableye, who's interested in the Carbink guards due to its diet. The possessed sword isn't that fond of the OG Ghost type Gengar, considering it to be a troublesome prankster. Being Steel type means that he doesn't need to worry about the poisons of the prankster. However, his biggest concern within his universe might be Lysandre, given he's an evil team leader also from Kalos that attempted mass genocide. He's grateful for Calem and Serena for stopping him...and Ash and the other Serena, for that matter. Another Pokemon that Aegislash likes is Empoleon, a fellow Steel type with a healthy pride, sense of righteousness and noble demeanor. They train their Steel type attacks by dueling with one another, wing to sword.
- When he learned of the existence and actions of Soul Edge, Aegislash was rightfully disgusted. He won't claim to be much better, because of the Aegislash line's history of manipulating and controlling people and Pokemon alike, but at least they didn't commit atrocities like that thing. He has since sworn to defeat its manifestation, Nightmare. Still, while more on the nicer end of living blades the haunted, draining sword Pokemon inspires a sense of weariness in some. Two deities nervous around it, even if Aegislash has tried to reach out to them in sympathy for their situations, are Kisuke Uzuki and Simon Petrikov. The former wields a Hungry Weapon, akin to the Honedge line draining the life out of people, however Aegislash doesn't wish to harm him and instead help as he thinks he's a good man. Simon spent over a millennium under the cursed influence of the Ice Crown, having lost his sanity as the Ice King, so he's wary of even a Pokemon version of a haunted weapon. However Aegislash also recognizes him as a good man and Simon still has some scientific curiosity around the sword.
- As previously mentioned, do not wield Aegislash like a sword. However dueling Aegislash himself? A favorite past time of the Royal Sword Pokemon. He prefers being in the Hall of Swords and Sabres, training by clashing blades with members there. Dueling partners have included Dracule Mihawk, Kazuma Kuwabara and Finn the Human. On a sadder note, he has noted Artorias' fate corrupted by the Abyss, and considers it tragic. He knows of Magneto as a tragic figure, though he is more wary of him. As his power over magnetism is something Aegislash is powerless against, though it should be noted that he doesn't have any interest in controlling the Royal Sword Pokemon. On a more light-hearted note, there's his relationship with Excalibur. Despite having at most an eye for a face Excalibur was so insufferable he still managed to do the (ﺧ益ﺨ) face. Despite all this, the Royal Blade Pokemon can sense his pedigree among heroes and kings, and "unique" way of determining the worthy. So he'll begrudgingly attempt to communicate with him.
- Spandam couldn't care less about any tragedy, being the Jerkass that he is, and is more interested in Aegislash's ability to still eat stuff like berries. Why? Well, his sword Funkfreed somehow manages to consume the Zou Zou no Mi (Eleph-Eleph Fruit) and is able to transform into an elephant...not that Spandam is competent using it. So he's interested in the idea of empowering Aegislash with a Devil Fruit in hopes of using him. The Royal Sword Pokemon regards his ambition as laughable, and Spandam as beyond his concern. Fighter is enamored by Aegislash (because "I like swords") and has decided to try and wield him. Black Mage suggested grasping the hilt as a weapon for "his best buddy" in an attempt to kill him, but Fighter avoided being affected by life drain because he didn't know it was a thing and somehow actually managed to wield Aegislash like a sword. A blunt, awkwardly-wielded sword but a surprisingly effective one all things together...this is the man who made sword-chucks viable, after all. The whole thing was embarrassing for the living sword, though he begrudgingly admits if there's one thing Fighter's good at it's being a fighter.
- Aegislash debated for some time as to who it should choose as a partner. Someone within the House of Royalty would almost certainly be chosen, however who would be both worthy and have the perfect attitude for him. King Arthur and Artoria Pendragon? Oh certainly, however the Royal Sword Pokemon did not feel itself was worthy of such an honor. Rather, the choice was for one that he saw was a king with a knack of determining what's valuable in leadership, and who set a standard that all his descendants were expected to follow; Aegon the Conqueror. Despite 300 years passing since he united the Sevennote Kingdoms, he's still on most people's top five or even three picks for Westerosi kings. Not something he's particularly fond of, with his sister-wives frustrated by the inept and/or cruel like Maegor, Aegon the Unworthy and Joffrey getting the thronenote . Aegislash's ability to detect the qualities of leadership make him an asset to the first Targaryen king, so he offered the Royal Sword Pokemon partnership.
- Altera likes the choice of partnership, since it shows a vital characteristic of Aegislash; the ability to decide who has the values of leadership, and who does not. She has her own way to judge "good" and "bad" civilizations, which is a trait the Pokemon values in her. Her status as a Living Weapon is appealing to him too. With a partnership Aegislash is less invested in determining worthy leaders, and a small part of that is being a bit concerned people may use his decisions to further political narratives he's disinterested in. Napoleon Bonaparte finds this a bit disappointing, admitting that he wanted more out of a Kalosian royal sword as Kalos is essentially Pokemon France. They're on good terms though; Aegislash recognizes his values as a leader and impressive military campaign, though is under no illusions that he's ideal. He's more interested in mutual learning between the two, something Napoleon is eager as he wishes to learn more about France's counterpart.
- To those who serve the Blackfyre cause, Aegislash's bow to Daeron the Good was seen as a slight. Daemon insists he is the rightful heir to Aegon IV, but Aegislash finds it far more likely the Unworthy started the adultery rumors out of jealous spite towards his significantly more competent heir. Not that Daemon Blackfyre is that angry, as he's legitimately impressed by the swordsmanship of the living blade and unlike Joffrey or Maegor he has the civility to have a friendly duel with Aegislash. Due to the abilities to detect the qualities of leadership Varys and Settra are interested by Aegislash, though they have yet to really act on this. The former thought it might be a bit nervous around the Iron Throne, though this isn't the case as the Honedge line is more of a spirit inhabiting a sword than a sword that came to life. The Royal Sword Pokemon merely commented that he wished people actually realized why it's uncomfortable.
- The choice to partner with Aegon the Conqueror was considered a good call by Aragorn, though he'll admit he kind of wanted to be his partner. Not that it doesn't stop the two getting along, due to being a rightful king. Aegislash doesn't just work with royalty, but also knights he respects. As they share an enemy in Nightmare, Siegfried Schtauffen gravitates towards the blade. Due to the past corruption of Soul Edge when it possessed him he is careful not to be too close to the Royal Sword Pokemon, though fortunately Aegislash is good with teamwork. Together, the two are working to take down Sauron once and for all, as Aegislash fears the corruptive influence of the Dark Lord. Said Dark Lord is rather coy about his desire to enslave Aegislash to his will and reforge him as an even more powerful weapon. Voldemort would rather take the sword for himself, as he sees Aegislash as a contender for a new horcrux; if Harry was given the sword of Godric Gryffindor, he should have his own mighty blade.

- Komala, the Drowsing Pokemon, is a Normal type from the Alola region with the signature ability of Comatose. What this translates to is that Komala is asleep for its entire life, exaggerating the slothful and sleepy nature of real life koalas. However being asleep doesn't prevent Komala from going beyond mere Sleepwalking; asides from responding to commands like any other non-sleeping Pokemon, being constantly asleep makes it immune to all non-volatile status conditions (so burning, poison, paralysis or freezing), and capable of using strategies like Sleep Talk or Snore at will. The ability can't be changed or suppressed, but unfortunately this also makes it vulnerable to moves that affect Pokemon that are asleep. Like actual koalas, this sleepiness is encouraged by a diet of poisonous leaves.
- Komala is a curious entry in the Trope Pantheon as it wasn't really aware it had ascended. Really, how aware such a Pokemon can be is a debate for the Houses of Mentalism and Philosophy. However it ended up here because Bart Simpson had a vacation to Alola, and brought back one as part of a prank that kind of petered out. Fortunately this didn't cause as much an incident as the last time he brought back a koala. While a cute koala, the ability and dedication to sleep made it a viable candidate for the trope of Laid-Back Koala. Ash and Lillie were happy to see another Pokemon, and one from the latter's home region. If Komala makes the effort to leave his temple, he'll go to the Hall of Slumber and Sleepiness as that's the Hall the Comatose Pokemon identifies with the most. Due to Dream of the Endless' nature, he's aware of him at least and is intrigued by what that means.
- Within the same universe, Komala's biggest friend is Snorlax. While Komala's the most slothful of the two by default, Snorlax is not far behind as outside of battle its a rare sight for the Big Fun Pokemon to do something other than eat while awake. He doesn't mind the koala finding a comfy spot on his belly, though Komala has been warned that he can turn in his sleep. The similarly lazy Pokemon Slaking was happy to see another in the "Slothful Mon" category, though he'll admit Komala's sleep schedule is a bit over the top. Because of its diet, the koala's saliva can be diluted as a sedative or anesthetic, which is something the House of Health and Diseases is studying. Hypno prefers hunting Komala over humans in the Alola region, as being ever-sleeping makes the species an easy target. This makes Hypno pretty much the only Pokemon the koala actively opposes, though he is nervous around the Ultra Beasts and Necrozma for the invasion of the region. Jigglypuff is annoyed by Komala due to never being awake to listen to her song even if it wouldn't put the critter back to sleep and tends to doodle on the koala, but Komala remains blissfully unaware.
- When it comes to choice of partnership, the initial choice was Princess Syalis; she absolutely loves to sleep and bases much of her personality on it. Komala is basically her spiritual animal...except Snorlax beat Komala to the punch. That said, this opened up an opportunity to another very fitting partner with Bedman. A medical condition requires him to be in a nigh-perpetual coma lest he risks My Skull Runneth Over, however he's strongest when asleep and has adapted his bed for a fighting style. Bedman feels Komala is somewhat of a kindred spirit, and was happy to call the koala a partner. As an ever-sleeping being, he is one of the only mortal beings to who the Shadow feels is a kindred spirit, and as much as is possible given their habits, they're friendly towards one another. Komala also stands as one of few Pokemon to get along with a Homunculus not named Greed; Sloth the Indolent. The Weak-Willed Sloth would like nothing more but to rest and not do any work, and while kind of jealous of the koala he does like him in a "birds of a feather" kind of way.
- Komala got the attention of the Smith family due to bringing back memories of Reginald the Koala. Long story short, Reginald was a homeless man who got his brain put in a koala body and ended up working for the CIA. He's pretty chill and cute as Komala, who ended up having a short romance with Hayley. Hayley has taken a liking to Komala as she's a rather relaxed and slothful individual, plus Komala is adorable. Due to koala's lax nature Garfield has taken a shine to Komala, even if he doesn't get the appeal of lasagnanote . His trope is kind of a sibling trope to Komala's, though Komala being in a perpetual (semi?)-coma is slothful even by Garfield's standards. He seems to like Lilo and Stitch as they remind him of his native region of Alola, given they come from Hawaii.
- Given the Pokemon is eternally asleep, essentially sleepwalking across its life, Komala's allies and enemies initially come from a "feeling" and the limited interaction the Comatose ability will allow. There's a somewhat one-sided nature to Garfield and Hayley's friendship with the koala, though the species can respond in ways like clinging on to a friendly trainer. Still, like every other Pokemon there's this instinctual apprehension to Hunter J and Rusty. J doesn't think highly of Komala as something to poach, but does muse that its saliva could have value as a sedative on the black market. Another note she's taken is that she finds it mildly interesting that the shiny doesn't change the actual Pokemon's coloration, but the log. Rusty is more interested in using Komala in battle, where he constantly tries to wake Komala up by forcing coffee or poking him in the eyes. He'd promptly get buried via Wood Hammer because while asleep, Komala was very aware of the abuse it was enduring.
- In the dreamscape, Komala is free to be as aware and "awake" as it wants. Komala may not be all that smart but like pretty much all Pokemon he possess a sentience allowing him to communicate in dreams. Not being a Psychic type he was initially alone in his dreams, until he felt the presence of Dream of the Endless. With sleep as one of his domains, Dream was always of at least subconscious interest to the koala, but one day this interest piqued after experiencing a dream of being able to talk to others. This dream came true when Ysera came to Komala, and offered him a means of communication with others' dreams. Komala jumped at the opportunity to be able to better able to talk to others. Under Ysera's guidance Komala would explore some of the Hall of Dreams and Nightmares, and learned to communicate with his friends in their dreams. One dream had him enter the dream of Spongebob, who advised him not to abuse that power.
- Through the newfound power Komala obtained, he was able to make deeper communication with his friends. First, he visited Garfield's dream, where Garfield did his best to make lasagna as close to the real thing via his subconscious mind. Though he enjoyed the lasagna Komala thought he had overhyped it a bit, which annoyed Garfield but he quickly got over it since it's not like he's had anything else but a stock diet of (probably eucalyptus) leaves to compare. In Lilo's dream, he encountered one of her friends/Stitch's cousins, Remmynote , and not just a dream version. Remmy can go into people's dreams to create nightmares, however he would reform and create virtual reality games. Hayley tried to share pot with Komala, but it didn't really do anything; its own diet of poisonous leaves/different biology could've made it unable to get a high from cannabis. They did make some chit-chat on the values of a hippie life-style, with Komala pondering that, if he swapped his brain with a human, could he be able to wake up for the first time?
- Being in the realm of dreams unfortunately opened up Komala to learning of the threats that live in dreams. As the Komala species spend their entire lives sleeping, they are more vulnerable than any other Pokemon to sleep-based attacks. While Comatose prevents a lot of status conditions, it guarantees the moves Dream Eater and Nightmare, and the ability Bad Dreams will always affect it. There is no deity in the Trope Pantheon that Komala fears more than the Springwood Slasher, Freddy Krueger. While Freddy would rather go after a Komala's trainer, he lords over his dominion and has tried to kill Komala through a variety of death-traps, only to let him go so he can bask in that paranoia and fear of what he might do to the koala next. When he sensed Ysera, though, he's decided maybe to be more pragmatic next time; should Komala learn how to harness the power of dreams he could be a problematic adversary as he can dedicate 24/7 to fighting him. Komala has been take time to study under Kirby in order to face off against such a threat.
- Freddy Krueger remains the being Komala fears above all others, though he is hardly the only being the koala dreads. For pretty much the same reason those who weaponize nightmares and exploit dreams for negative purposes are terrifying for the Pokemon; enemies yes, but unlike Hunter J he feels more fear than hate towards them. Nightmare, Vaermina and Wizeman make up Komala's worst nightmares, and no-one will blame him. The Mad Hatter and Doctor Destiny are more outright enemies than boogeymen as they don't fill Komala with as much dread, as they seek to experiment on the Pokemon. Its saliva and unique Comatose ability gives him potential, and as Jervis' partner (though they don't like each other that much) Hypno is Komala's main predator it makes them natural enemies. He tries not to be as cruel as any of his partners in crime, though this hasn't stopped Hypno and Komala from being sworn enemies.
- Because Komala spends its life asleep, there's some speculation as to how the Comatose ability would interact with the Matrix given its status a a forced, artificial dreamscape. The running theory is that it would at least allow Komala to be awake while reaping all the benefits and none of the drawbacks of the Comatose ability, and at best Komala could potentially become a Virtual-Reality Warper. As the Matrix is designed for humans with the right implants, the theory can't be tested. With his own long sleep in mind, Rip Van Winkle is curious as to what might happen if the koala ever did wake up for real.

For Aegislash, Pyra/Mythra is a Blade, which is a living sword with a humanoid form.
For Komala, Madotsuki spends all her time sleeping and wandering her dream world.

- For most of his life, Mallow thought he was just an ordinary tadpole happily living in Tadpole Pond with his grandpa, The Frog Sage. This all changed the day a theif stole his Frog Coin, with an upset Mallow enlisting the help of the Mushroom Kingdom's hero, Mario, to get it back. In the process learning of the Smithy Gang's arrival, Mallow suggests that they see his grandpa for help, only to discover from him that Mallow is, in fact, not a frog at all, and encouraged him to help Mario on his quest and find his real parents in the process. Agreeing, Mallow used his Weather Manipulation powers and his Enemy Scan abilities to great effect during his quest, slowly but surely growing out of his initial crybaby personality and replacing it with a more courageous one. Eventually, upon visiting Nimbus Land, Mallow learned the truth: he was actually the long-lost prince of Nimbus Land, and the role was currently being impersonated by the duo of Valentina and Dodo. After thwarting their plans and reuniting with his real parents, Mallow continued to help Mario and his friends thwart Smithy's plans before returning to Nimbus Land and being crowned Prince.
- For a long while after that, Mallow continued living in Nimbus Land as its prince, and was usually too busy to really visit Mario, though the two did stay in touch with letters. This is where The Pantheon came in, as Mario happened to be one of its oldest residents and had ascended most of his buddies (and enemies) alongside him. After a retelling of Mario's first RPG adventure started gaining attention, Mario decided it was about time he got one of his allies from said adventure a spot on the Pantheon, and so first choose Mallow. After getting the Main House's permission to let Mallow and his family visit, the family arrived on the royal bus and Mario and Mallow had a reunion that, naturally, began with Mallow crying and causing a rainstorm. The Main House, being aware of Mallow's abilities, eventually offered him a proper spot on The Pantheon under a title based off of his "Thought Peek" ability. Mallow accepted on one condition: not only would his parents join him as heralds, but so would his "grandpa" Frog Sage and his Tadpoles, Mallow seeing it as a show of thanks for the years he took care of him. The House was happy to arrange that, and so Mallow and his two families were able to join The Pantheon.
- Mallow has a simple relationship with his fellow Mario deities: he's good friends with Mario's allies and opposes most of his enemies. We say "most" because one of Mallow's first adventures was helping Mario once again save Peach from Bowser. While Mallow had heard that Bowser was normally a much bigger threat than the time he teamed up with him, he was still caught off-guard by just how competent he could be when motivated, even managing to take his villain title back from a few villains that tried overthrowing him. As for his personal relationship with King Koopa himself, all things considered they don't really hate each other and still prove to be able to team up when a greater evil emerges, with Bowser still being thankful for him helping get his castle back and Mallow knowing that Bowser's capable of a few acts of decency, and is generally more preferable to the other nasties that pop up. That doesn't stop Koopa from fighting Mallow when he captres the Princess again, though that more or less also sums up his relationship with Mario.
- His role as Mario's companion can be summed up as a Black Mage of sorts, specializing in elemental Herd Hitting Attacks to damage multiple foes at once, as well as possessing emergency healing magic for if Peach isn't available. His magic initially isn't much to write home about, but pretty soon his elemental abilities prove invaluable to enemies with certain weaknesses, such as Speardovich and his weakness to electricity. While he's found that there are numerous other combat mages around in the Pantheon, he's found to be most comfortable around Vivi, the holder of Black Mage and a rather timid soul who's nonetheless skilled with magic. As a fellow childish mage, Mallow has tried to encourage the shy mage to come out of his shell a bit more, and while results vary Vivi still appreciates the company. The other Black Mage in the Pantheon, the member of the Warriors of Light, isn't nearly as fond of Mallow however and regards him as an annoying crybaby, with Mallow likewise thinking that he's a complete jackass who sucks at actually being evil like he claims.
- Most of Mallow's magic comes from his innate ability to manipulate the weather as a living cloud. How much control he has over it tends to vary based on his mood; while calm and in battle he can control it to great effect, being able to freeze, electrocute or even drop stars on enemies, but when he gets especially emotional they tend to activate on their own, such as when he cries, a rainstorm tends to pop up. As such, he's met more than a few deities with similar powers, most notably Pepa of the Madrigal household, another heavily emotional person with the ability to manipulate the weather based on her mood. The two have met up more than once to discuss their powers and how to control them. There's also Nami, a pirate who's armed with a weather manipulation machine that she uses for combat, which intrigued Mallow as otherwise she was otherwise powerless. Not all of them were friendly however, as Kracko could attest to. Initially sought out by Mallow due to being a fellow sentient cloud, Kracko responded by trying to fry him. Mallow was able to ward him off by lightning striking his rainstorm, electrocuting Kracko and sending him running in pain, with Kracko swearing to get revenge when the opportunity arises.
- Related to his abilities, by his own admission Mallow was a bit of a crybaby for most of his life, with even the smallest offence sending him into a crying fit, which again leads to rainstorms. It was something that Mallow was painfully aware of and as such vowed to grow out of it, and so far his adventure with Mario's party has resulting in him growing more courageous and less prone to tears, though even then he still has his emotional moments once in a while. It's part of the reason he admires Frodo Baggins, who grew from a meek hobbit to a more courageous hero during his quest, albeit not without some serious trauma along the way. There was also Kira Yamato who despite being prone to tears was able to pull through and be an excellent pilot. Both parties respect Mallow for going on a similar, albeit Lighter and Softer, quest, and have wished him luck on his journey. On the "crying" side, Gasper Vladi is a half-vampire who, thanks to being bullied for his upbringing, is extremely prone to tears, something that Mallow can relate to. As a result, he's offered comfort for the poor guy whenever he needs it. There was also the time he met Issac, who he sought out due to the boy weaponizing his tears and Mallow thinking that was cool. Long story short, there were two gods sharing a cry and a whole house caught in a particularly nasty storm. It did end with the two becoming fast friends at least, with Mallow glad Issac had his real dad with him for comfort.
- To get this out of the way, yes, Mallow well and truly had no clue that he wasn't really a frog despite the overwhelming evidence that was given to him. He simply thought he was an ordinary tadpole that couldn't jump to save his life. The whole thing made Mallow wonder if there were others that had Interspecies Adoption, and as one thing lead to another he became fast friends with Eggs, a boy that was adopted by creatures known as Boxtrolls and for the longest time didn't know he was human. Despite this, both parties still love their adopted families and still treat them like family, something they both immediately bonded over. He also ended up meeting Dr. Doofenshmirtz and learning of one of his many, many tragic backstories, that being he was abandoned by his family for a while and was raised by cougars for a bit. This bizarre bit of Doof's life ended up winning Mallow's sympathy, with the two bonding over their experiences with their animal families. He even keeps in touch with the legendary Moses, who was also delivered to a new family in a basket just like Mallow, though unfortunately his adopted family, one of cruel pharaohs, was less than ideal compared to Mallow's frog family.
- Mallow's adopted family were a bunch of tadpoles lead by a wise frog known as the Frog Sage, and by all means his adoption was a happy one. It was pleasent enough that, even after being told they weren't related, he still considered the Frog Sage as family and kept calling him "grandpa". As a result, Mallow has a special fondness for frogs in general; name a frog in the Pantheon and Mallow's has at least met them. The Plantars, another family of intelligent frogs, were some of the first friends Mallow made, having encountered them while wandering the realm and consequentially being fascinated upon being told by them that they came from a whole realm of amphibians, with Mallow wanting to visit said realm sometime. The head of the Muppets and musician Kermit the Frog was another quick friend Mallow made after a chance encounter involving Gonzo, with Kermits musical talents coming in handy as some tadpoles used themselves as notes for musicians, which Kermit was quick to try out after learning about it. If there's one frog Mallow's not fond of, its the Hypnotoad, for the simple yet understandable reason that he freaks him right out. As a result, he tries to avoid his TV show whenever he can as he's heard rumors of its hypnotic effects and didn't want any part of it.
- As mentioned earlier, Mallow's true origins is that he's actually the long-lost prince of Nimbus Land, a land of cloud people ruled by King and Queen Nimbus. Mallow, true to form, didn't realize until he was flat-out told by someone connecting the dots, but regardless was more than willing to finally reunite with his parents and save his land. If this tale sounds familiar, that's because a number of deities had the same thing happen to them; for instance, both Aurora and Anastatia were both princesses that were kept hidden and didn't realize they were royalty until later in their lives, though here they had a very good reason to abandon their post as they were being pursued by wicked spellcasters out to curse them. Mallow has offered to help protect them from their respective nemesis as he feels bad for their predicament. Meanwhile, Martin Septim was a humble priest that discovered that he was the secret son of the Emperor and had to take up the role after he was assassinated, and while initially hesitant soon helped save his kingdom from literal Oblivion. Mallow found his sacrifice quite inspiring and has assured Martin he would've made a great king had he survived.
- When Mallow first discovered that he was prince, he first had to thwart an attempted coup from Valentina, who had convinced Nimbus Land that her own "son", Dodo the bird, was the long lost prince, locking up anyone that tried to prove her wrong, including the rightful king and queen. After all of that, Mallow was left with a sour spot for anyone that tries to usurp the throne like that. Naturally, when he first heard of Scar and his cold-blooded murder of his own brother, he was livid and wanted to shock Scar into oblivion, though ultimately he decided that him getting eaten by hyenas was good enough. Klogg doesn't get any love from him either, having forcefully taken the crown from The Neverhoods rightful ruler and turned it into a wasteland, and was glad to learn that Klaymen whupped him not once, but twice, complete with a song making fun of him. In any case, Mallow has promised that, if anyone was to steal a throne, he'd happily help get it back from them.

Shanghai Lily and Hui Fei, Goddesses of Thrilling Train Voyages (Lily: Madeleine)

- Quasideities
- Symbol: Trains, gramophones, feather boas, knives
- Alignment: True Neutral
- Portfolio: High-Class Call Girl, Hooker with a Heart of Gold, Light Feminine and Dark Feminine, Smoking Is Glamorous, Les Yay
- Lily: Meaningful Rename, Costume Porn
- Hui Fei: The Quiet One, Rape and Revenge
- Domains: Trains, Prostitution, War
- Allies: Hercule Poirot, Tetsuro Hoshino and Maetel, Giovanni and Campanella, The Pteranodon Family, Thomas the Tank Engine, Corky and Violet, John McClane, James Marshall, Hannie Caulder, Rarity
- Enemies: Jack the Ripper
- Friendly Enemy: Louise Leroi and Maria Sarrazin
- In the middle of the Chinese Civil War, a notorious prostitute known as Shanghai Lily (real name Madeleine) boarded an express train going from Peiping (Beijing) to Shanghai. Among the eclectic first class passengers stood out Hui Fei, a fellow prostitute, and Captain Donald Harvey, Lily's former lover. After a spy was uncovered among the train's workers and was apprehended, a seemingly respectable passenger, Henry Chang, turned out to be a rebel leader and had his army commandeer the train. Chang took Harvey hostage and intended to exchange him for the captured agent, given Harvey was valuable as a surgeon traveling to operate on the governor-general of Shanghai. Chang also "suggested" to Lily that she become his mistress, but Harvey violently interceded in her defense. Enraged, Chang raped Hui Fei and then told Lily he would pay Harvey back by blinding him, but Lily offered herself to Chang in exchange for Harvey's safety. Lily did not have to uphold her end of the bargain though, as Hui Fei stabbed Chang to death to avenge herself for her rape. Hui Fei collected the bounty on Chang's head and was hailed as a hero, while Lily rekindled her romance with Harvey.
- Mysterious circumstances forced Lily to leave Shanghai, whether it was the volatility of her relationship with Harvey, her being unable to shake off her widespread reputation, or perhaps even Harvey himself meeting his end at war and leaving Lily bereft. Whatever the case, she boarded another train on a foggy night, and by a twist of fate Hui Fei was her traveling companion once again, which was just as well, as the train was otherwise deserted of passengers. As you can probably guess at this point, this was their voyage into the Pantheon, which they both stoically regarded as a curious place indeed, and perhaps the kind where two prostitutes like themselves might blend into without being bothered. Getting instated as goddesses just makes everything more convenient, as far as they're concerned.
- Lily and Hui Fei's relationship isn't exactly straightforward (though they'd certainly be considered allies in Pantheon terms), and possibly not even straight. Lily stated in the past that they were merely acquaintances and not friends, with neither showing interest in crossing that line, even though they were perfectly fine with being together in close quarters for long periods of time. Their experiences in the original Shanghai Express certainly bonded them, in some hard to define way, and their ascension into the Pantheon essentially made them into roommates and, as you'll find out, business partners of a sort. From an onlooker's perspective, they are often so silent and detached that they don't even seem to like each other, but sometimes they show such intense concern for each other that it makes their relationship seem suggestive.
- Their temple is the replica of the Shanghai Express that brought them into the Pantheon, which suits them given it means they get to travel for free all around the Pantheon and "move house" whenever there's trouble around a particular area; they're not particularly eager to get into more situations similar to what happened with Chang. They have also pragmatically decided to charge money for other deities to board, so they don't have to keep relying on their original line of work for income.
- Being in charge of running an old-timey steam locomotive and thus proving that Steam Never Dies firstly gets a wholehearted seal of approval from Thomas the Tank Engine. Then there's the Pteranodon family, with the kids in particular being stoked to explore the Express and learn how it works. Lily thinks that's adorable; they all still got charged for the right to ride the train, even if she and Hui Fei agreed to lower the price for the kids. When the kids complained how mean that was even though they're all train-related deities, Lily replied, in a humorous tone, that spending years scraping for money as a woman of the world had a way of turning a person heartlessly mercenary, which led the uncomfortable Pteranodon parents to drag the kids away even though they were really curious to know what Lily meant. She didn't explain further but left them with one last thought that friendship was all well and good, but it shouldn't be mixed with business. That at least got the kids excited that she considered them friends and any slights were forgotten.
- While their idea of how to spend their free time is hardly "spend it in someone else's train", they suppose they have to do so at least a little for the sake of good relations. Between the Pteranodons, a Super Sentai team, a Kamen Rider and a group of Digidestined, they are quite exhausted from dealing with over-energetic kids who are a little too emotionally invested in their ways of transportation. Tetsuro Hoshino and Maetel, as well as Giovanni and Campanella, proved to be closer to Lily and Hui Fei's level of maturity, and therefore easier for them to interact with. The idea of trains that travel through the starry darkness of space also sounds very romantic and relaxing to them, and is a trip they could see themselves taking more than once.
- Despite their precautions, trouble has a way of finding the two anyway, and "payment required to board" isn't exactly a powerful deterrent to those in the habit of bringing trouble. In particular, their past as prostitutes ensured they would attract the attention of Jack the Ripper like an uncontrollable magnet, though since nobody knows his identity, it means that whenever he boards the Express, the vehicle gains a sort of haunted quality (almost like Giovanni and Campanella's train), what with all the deaths occurring in it. Yet by some miracle Lily and Hui Fei have not been counted among his victims yet, perhaps for being wise to the ways of the world and not giving their trust easily. In order to investigate and try to catch the Ripper, Hercule Poirot has boarded the Express a few times, which has led to a friendship between him, Lily and Hui Fei. But alas, even Poirot's experience with catching criminals in express trains fails him when it comes to solving the unsolveable mystery of Jack the Ripper, so it seems like Lily and Hui Fei must weather his periodical "hauntings" through their own willpower.
- There are certain uninvited passengers Lily can't help but be fond of despite everything, like the train robbers Louise Leroi and Maria Sarrazin. While they are definitely a problem whenever they find their way onboard, Lily, and to a certain extent Hui Fei, who thinks of them more as a nuisance, find it hard not to admire the brazenness and ease with which these two women accost moving trains and strip an entire cohort of their possessions. The fact that they disguise themselves as men and generally don't follow gender conventions very closely probably appeals a lot to Lily as well. Plus, she wonders what exactly the relationship between the two might be; you might even say she ships them, in the modern parlance. Of course, Lily still has to do something to stop them, since they're bad for business, as Hui Fei will helpfully remind her when needed. As a matter of fact, Hui Fei has no problem pulling her knife against the bandits' guns, having even managed to disarm them in the close quarters of the Express. Louise and Maria admire the nerve, not just from Hui Fei, but also from Lily who remains just as calm during their robberies despite having less combat ability. Considering the two bandits are so used to everyone cowering and making way for them, it's kind of refreshing to meet two women who'll stand up to them.
- The Express is particularly favored by so-called "disgraced" women, since Lily and Hui Fei are about the last people in the universe who'll pass judgement on a woman for choosing a certain way of life or for having certain things happening to her that society blames her for. They don't even care if prostitutes decide to bring work on board with them, so to speak. This has led to friendships with lesbian couple Corky and Violet, who went on the run from the mafia after they killed the latter's gangster boyfriend; probably also helps that Violet was previously a prostitute, with Lily and Hui Fei knowing that a girl has to do what she can to survive. And as has already been implied, Lily is openly supportive of the two's relationship, as is Hui Fei, who's just not as expressive about it. The usually closed-off Hui Fei herself would find a rare sense of commonality with Hannie Caulder, a rape survivor who proceeded to off all three of her attackers one by one.
- A number of deities have gone through circumstances similar to the intense hostage situation that Lily and Hui Fei were put through, namely President James Marshall, who singlehandedly freed hostages on a plane he himself was on, and John McClane, who's constantly getting himself in hostage situations in all manner of places. McClane also dealt with a rebel leader named William Stuart, who, like Chang, was motivated by wanting to free an ally of his, so he can understand the severity of what Lily and Hui Fei went through. Considering the two certainly didn't have the training of a Vietnam vet-turned-president or a cop, Marshall and McClane find it particularly admirable that they navigated the situation with Chang the way they did, and came out of it with no deadly victims besides Chang himself.
- Shanghai Lily's wardrobe is famous for how flashy and dramatic it is, mostly thanks to copious amounts of Fluffy Fashion Feathers. Appropriately, no other fashion designer deity admires Lily's outfits more than Rarity, whose fashion sense is matched by her flamboyant Drama Queen personality. Ironically Lily herself is quite stoic, though that doesn't mean she disdains Rarity's enthusiasm; on the contrary, she's eager to see what designs Rarity can come up with that'll allow her to make an entrance as memorable as possible. Rarity is up to the challenge and is sure to make many an extra-glamorous outfit in the future. And of course, she hasn't forgotten Hui Fei and is also looking into Chinese fashion to make things that'll please her, not that Hui Fei asked anyway (though she wouldn't reject them either).
Heya heya heya! It’s me again…and I’m still burnt out of Pantheon for some reason. So that means, as of now, I’m putting Phosphophyllite & Yuuma Toutetsu up for adoption, as they are the two that probably are the ones I am least motivated to work on, should I continue. In the meantime, I’ll try to get things working up again, given I have a ton of time this summer.

Okay, Lauren and Jen have gotten five votes.
"But...You're not real." "Don't be silly. I'm more real than you are."
All witches, all skeletons, all jack O Lanterns, gather round your TV set, put on your masks, and watch...watch the magic pumpkin, Watch...I have a few proposals finally! I'm sorry about the wait for me to finish up stuff, I promise I am working to correct that!
- The Leadership of the Scourge, Unholy Representatives of Undead Hierarchies
The Scourge is not your typical mindless horde of Undead. Created by the Burning Legion to serve as a vanguard, the Scourge is actually extremely well organized, with various levels of leadership going to fully functional lieutenants of the Lich King, while themselves being royalty or of similar rank. For instance Sindragosa is the Queen of the Frostbrood, and other Frost Wyrms by extension but she is still subservient to the Lich King. The Crypt Lord Anub'Arak is the King of the undead Nerubians, but he is still subservient to Arthas. The lich Kel'Thuzad is the highest ranking of these, being second only to the Lich King himself, and even ruling his own necropolis, Naxxramas.
- Hexside, The Godly School for Witches and Demons
Hexside is one of the most common recurring settings within The Owl House due to Luz, and her friend circle being students there, where they learn their Magic, and get embroiled in some standard teen drama stuff. Unlike Magic Schools like Hogwarts, Hexside is filled to the brim with students, and faculty who are absolutely not Human, and are in fact all Demons, and can vary from someone who has a single massive eye for a face, to a teacher with blue skin, three eyes, horns, and a tail, whereas the Human appearing ones are Witches. As this is the Boiling Isles, the frequency of these individuals is of little consequence, as they are just normal people who happen to be Witches and Demons.
- Linda Flynn-Fletcher, The Goddess who Desperately Needs Contacts
The entirety of the plots involving the titular boys in Phineas and Ferb are dependent on Linda's utter inability to see things that aren't directly in front of her. She has missed just about everything from a massive Rollercoaster to Treehouse Robots, to an alteration of Mount Rushmore. This woman just cannot see things in her peripherals whatsoever, even when they are absolutely massive. In fact she's even admitted that she really needs contacts to see better, but she just can't seem to get herself any.
Now before there is an uproar about Kel'Thuzad already having his own profile, it's extremely out of date, and small, so little of value will be lost by adding him to the Scourge Leadership. Same with Anub'Arak.
What do you all think?
"Us weirdos have to stick together!"![]()
for Hexside, abstain on The Necrocracy at the moment.
Anyway, Smithy’s gang. Got this approved a while back. Gonna specify who is who under the profile later. I explained the important details on who they are in the bio
No-Thumbs Mode
The Smithy GangPrimary Members, Divine Army of Specializing in Certain Weapons

- Greater Deities as a whole. Smithy is a Greater God, borderline Overdeity in his true form.
- Symbol: Exor, stabbed through the Earth with Smithy's hammer raised above.
- Theme Songs:
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil
- Portfolio: All specialize in or are weapons
- Domains: Weapons, Evil, Robots, Specialization, War
- Allies: Khorne, Esdeath
- Enemies: Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, Mallow, Star Dream
- It seemed to just be another adventure for Mario to save Princess Peach from Bowser. However, upon defeating the Koopa King, a sentient sword stabbed into Bowser’s Castle. This separated Mario, Princess Peach and Bowser, scattering them across the world. This paved the way for the sinister Smithy Gang to begin invading the planet with hopes of conquering it and filling it with weapons, having destroyed the Star Road for good measure beforehand. Gathering his bearings and discovering the severity of the situation, Mario would meet new friends in Geno and Mallow, team up with Bowser, and reunite with Princess Peach before moving on to invade Bowser’s Conquered Castle, discovering a gateway to the Weapons Factory where the leader of the Smithy Gang, Smithy, was hiding. Storming it, they’d challenge and destroy Smithy, ultimately saving the world and repairing the Star Road once they took the final Star Piece from him.

“Get Snuck-Up On.”![]()
for Hexside.
Now I do want to double-check this, but regarding the first one, is this supposed to compromise just the High Ranking members, or is this going to include every member of the leadership, Arthas and Sindragosa included? I have to admit that I'm apprehensive about the latter as having too many members might prove too stressful and having to dilute many potential paragraphs and interaction ideas just to make sure your profile isn't too big. I need to note that it is recommended on who are supposed to be part of that group.
Abstaining on Linda. While she is a great example of the trope, she barely has much in the way of characterization and I don't think there's much about her that could be explored in terms of that, interests, and goals. It doesn't help that she's more of a secondary character in the show, and while I don't oppose the idea of secondary or even minor characters being viable character choices, their general role and screen presence also matter in addition to what they do.

WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!
Just prominent members, specifically Kel'Thuzad, Anub'Arak Sindragosa, and Lana'thel, as they are all prominent literal Scourge royalty who have lore and personalities. Kel'Thuzad leads the Cult of the Damned, Anub'Arak is the King of the Nerubians, Sindragosa is the Queen of the Frostbrood and other Frost Wyrms, and Lana'thel is the Blood Queen of the San'layn.

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMY@Sailor: Regarding some members of the Smithy Gang:
- For Claymorton, Tigger of the Hundred-Acre Wood Gang is similarly obsessed with bouncing on his tail, though obviously he'd probably frown on Claymorton using it to harass others.
- For The Axem Rangers, as evil parodies of the original Power Rangers the originals would naturally take issue with this. Also, maybe an interaction with the Ranger's own evil counterparts, the The Psycho Rangers?
- For Bowyer, Green Arrow and Haweye are expert archers that Bowyer, who engages in target practice for fun, would find to be competition, if not flatout enemies.

I'd imagine characters like Carrie White, or Norman Babcock would have varying opinions on how to react to bullying.
