Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Did anyone notice when I said Game Characters had the too-long warning? I think it could be split into Player Characters and Non-Player Characters.

Seeing as I won't get any more thumbs for Cedric, I decided to move on to another deity who looks like he's good for feedback

  • My name is Stilton, Geronimo Stilton! I run The Rodent's Gazette, Mouse Island's most famous newspaper. I was just in my office preparing for another day of work when I was given a mysterious letter that told me of something called a Pantheon and I was given a seat as a god there. But, this is ridiculous! I couldn't be chosen to become a deity. I'm not strong or brave or have magic powers...and yet something inside of me said I should try it out and see where it goes. Nevertheless, I'm no stranger to adventures, so I decided to pack my bags and see what was in store for me. I'm sure everyone back home will be thrilled with the stories I bring back!
    • Thus Geronimo Stilton found himself being led to his new temple in the House of Media and Connectivity as the gods found out that he has a LOT of stories that would take a few years for anyone to go through. Geronimo was both excited and terrified of the experience, afraid that he'll be permanently separated from everyone he loves. Thankfully this wasn't the case: he was able to bring his sister, cousin, and nephew as his heralds and he's still allowed to drop by his home world. Geronimo let out a sigh of relief as he decided to prepare a new book series about his adventures in the Pantheon. Also, for some odd reason, his appearance and personality alters slightly: the normal Geronimo wears glasses and usually wants nothing to do with adventure, along with his world being involved with the supernatural and fantasy, whereas another version (the one in his profile image) has him ditch the glasses, be less nervous about adventure but dismisses the supernatural and runs the Geronimo Stilton Media Group.
  • Gods have been categorizing the numerous spin-offs Geronimo has been involved in (or at least the spin-offs of different characters and different worlds). These include spin-offs based on his "crush" Creepella von Cacklefur solving mysteries with her relatives, his sister Thea (or rather the students called "The Thea Sisters") going around the world solving mysteries and having adventures at Mouseford Academy/having their own fantastic adventures, a collection of epic fantasy stories where Geronimo is tasked by the Queen of Fairies to save the Kingdom of Fantasy, stories involving his cavemice ancestors, stories of an alternate Geronimo in adventures through outer space, a viking-spinoff where the land is besieged by mice-eating dragons, adventures where Geronimo travels through time, classic stories but retold through Geronimo and his friends, and one where he's a heromouse in Muskrat City. For the sake of clarity, and to avoid numerous headaches and gods having to read every single book printed, Geronimo's profile will be based on the series/spin-offs that actually has him as the protagonist: the main series, his animated adaptation, his adventures as a Heromouse, a knight in the Kingdom of Fantasy, and his journeys through time.
  • Geronimo's favorite House is the House of Knowledge which boasts the largest collection of books ever. He's known to carry a stack of books back to his temple to pour over. Of course, he was also amazed to find the children's section of the House has an entire wing filled with every story from his world and constantly updates itself every time story has been published (it also somehow has graphic novel versions of he adventures his animated counterpart has gone through). He gets along well with those who love reading classic literature, like Matilda Wormwood and Twilight Sparkle, where Geronimo was amazed at how Twilight used to live in a library (before it was destroyed by Tirek). Speaking of ponies, he befriended Fluttershy as she's also into reading (although this was after Fluttershy stopped cooing at him for how "cute" he looked...and then how he looked in confusion over how she's friends to non-sentient mice) and even shared copies of the Geronimo/Thea Stilton Classic Tales to see what she made of it. He also met up with the Equestria Girls as their adventures and closeness remind him of his sister Thea Stilton and her students, the Thea Sisters. The only difference being that the Equestria Girls have superpowers which they use to stop others who have been corrupted with magic while the Thea Sisters usually go through magical worlds to help others but otherwise are normal (or at least, he hasn't been aware that the Thea Sisters have become superheroes as of late)
    • In truth, due to his adventures in the Kingdom of Fantasy, Geronimo wasn't surprised to meet up with talking ponies, pegasi, or unicorns. One kingdom he ventured into was the Kingdom of Blue Unicorns — although they were mislabeled and should be alicorns instead — who had numerous fountains with different abilities like love, fortune, and healing. He is grateful that the Equestrian deities have given him something other than hay and clover to snack on.
  • Through reasons never revealed, Geronimo is capable of transforming into a superhero called Geronimo Superstilton with a special pen he keeps for emergencies. While he's still his normal self, Geronimo's powers are something quite unheard of. Whatever he shouts in his fits of panic, it'll come true. However, there are a few drawbacks: he doesn't know what exactly will be summoned unless he says it, and everything he conjures up usually involves cheese. However, this also means that he can confuse opponents because they have no idea what they're up against, whether it'd be a rain of mozzerella balls, a shower of a cheesy milkshake, or being flattened by a giant Swiss cheese wheel. The House of Heroes have embraced him as an honorary superhero though, and Geronimo has been thankful by their kindness and heroics. No surprise that he gets along well with Clark Kent/Superman the most, since they're both journalists as their day jobs. This also meant he became friends with Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen as the two remind him of his sister and cousin. Geronimo has bonded with Jimmy over how he's gained (and lost) superhero abilities time and time again.
    • Naturally as the cheese he creates when he uses his super powers is real, he becomes annoyed when he's asked to use them for food parties or the like. On the other hand, cheese-lovers and Big Eaters are quite grateful for the feast, especially the likes of Kirby. Wallace is hoping that Geronimo can next time summon some Wensleydale with his powers. He does get along with Miles Morales, who helps him to better weaponize his cheesy powers.
  • As Geronimo Stilton's books were first written in Italy, he's been trying to find numerous Italian gods to hang out with. He immediately learned which Italian deities to run away from: La Squadra Esecuzioni and Cioccolata. Geronimo knows that he's incapable of fighting them on his own, and even with the powers of Geronimo Superstilton, they're powerless against his Stands. He got along well with Pepperino Spaghetti and Takumi Aldini though, and Geronimo loves dropping by to have a taste of their cooking. However even he admits that Pepperino's anxiety meltdowns terrify him. Sure, Geronimo is a scaredy-cat, but he's managed to keep his cool even when plunging into danger. He also gained common ground with Will Vandom (her series was created in Italy as well) as her magical powers and abilities would fit right at home in the Kingdom of Fantasy.
  • He's actually a secret agent in his world, 00G. He hasn't been in a lot of action, but he respects deities who are also talented spies like James Bond and Nick Fury. However, he notes that he's not suited for combat and would rather work as Mission Control doing research where it's nice, safe, and he's not at a high risk of dying. Gods do point out that he has a few martial art moves under his belt so he can defend himself, to which he replies, "Martial arts can't save you from guns!"
  • Thanks to his good friend, Professor Paws von Volt, Geronimo has been capable of traveling through time using a time machine. This has made him good friends with Jack and Annie as they have many similarities — they come from long-running children's book series, they have adventures through time and fantasy and love reading. Geronimo was amazed to learn how the Magic Treehouse was created by Morgan le Fay as a way to venture into the books she loved, while Jack and Annie are curious as to how Geronimo has been decreed a hero in the Kingdom of Fantasy and which time periods they have/haven't traveled. They also found it amusing how both groups had theatrical adaptations based on their adventures.
  • Glad to learn he's not the only scaredy-cat in the Pantheon. He became something akin to a uncle-figure to Wirt, who is also known to be afraid of the unknown and that they have similar tastes in music and architecture, to which Wirt is a consultant for 18th-19th century architecture and costumes. Geronimo was amazed to learn of the Unknown and how Wirt defeated the Beast not through magic or strength, but with his brain, although he also was terrified from some of the other creatures Wirt encountered like Enoch and Auntie Whispers. He also bonded with Ned Needlemeyer whose hyper-imagination creates horrible nightmares in his sleep. Geronimo admits to Ned that he is always afraid for his life, but he always has his friends and family to push forward. He also gets along well with Mystery Inc, as he's had a hand in fighting off many mysteries with a few of them being a "Scooby-Doo" Hoax. He loves eating cheese with Shaggy and Scooby although he admits that he doesn't need to be bribed with food to push forwards. Of course, Geronimo later learned that the Beast made it to the Pantheon, praying on Geronimo's fears of the dark to make him a new lantern-bearer. Thankfully, Wirt dragged him away in time and also warned Geronimo to avoid Old Bill Cole who also turned innocent victims into trees.
    • Geronimo also bonded with Shaggy over how they both gained superpowers after he learned the legend of "Ultra Instinct Shaggy" and how it led to Shaggy duking it out with other deities. He gets along most with Velma for being the brains and Only Sane Man of the group whereas Daphne reminds him of his sister, Thea. He's also one of the few gods who actually tolerates Scrappy-Doo; being an uncle himself, he tends to see a bit of Benjamin in Scrappy. Scrappy was grateful that Geronimo liked him and vowed to defend him from any and all threats with some puppy power.
  • Is scared out of his whiskers over Ryuk when Geronimo found a Death Note on his desk. Geronimo immediately chucked the book out of his temple, knowing the dangers it will bring. Geronimo can be annoyed with others, especially his cousin, Trap, but he would NEVER wish anyone to be dead. Ryuk says it was such a shame; he was hoping to see how many deities Geronimo could've killed if he wrote them down in the Death Note like it was one of his stories. The other Shinigami, Rem, also terrify him, but thankfully she leaves him alone enough. Geronimo does pity her though, loyal to her master even if it means her death by writing it down on the notebook. Geronimo is too scared to approach her, but he does have the courage to leave letters at her doorstep.
  • Naturally, as a mouse, Geronimo was glad to find other mouse deities for him to hang with. If there was one he had no words for, it was Penelope Mouse for her betrayal towards the Cooper Gang. Sure, Geronimo doesn't have a good opinion on thieves, but he can make an exception for the Cooper Gang as they're thieves stealing from other criminals and look out for others, while Penelope looks out for herself. Penelope would find him beneath her...were it not for her learning about Geronimo's Superpen that gives him the ability to turn into a superhero. Geronimo glared at her, transformed into Geronimo Superstilton and shouted, "Not for the love of a thousand mozzerella balls!" Soon after, Penelope was pelted by (exactly) one thousand mozzerella balls and she vowed vengeance towards Geronimo. He did find companionship with the likes of Mrs. Brisby who is a sweet motherly figure like his Aunt Sweetfur and ends up in investigative work with the likes of detectives Basil and Dawson or rescue missions with Bernard and Bianca. And of course, no meeting of fellow mice wasn't complete without Mickey Mouse. Geronimo was awed to meet with a legend who had so many stories to tell and magical feats of his own. Mickey was quite humble and comforted Geronimo that he's quite amazing in his own world as well. Geronimo has also eaten at Remy's temple and was wowed at the dishes, leaving a five star review in his Pantheon edition of The Rodent's Gazette.
  • While Geronimo's main temple is in the House of Media and Connectivity, the Sub-House of Investigative Work is his second hope, as he can relate to numerous reporters. The first one he bumped into was Carly Nagisa, as she is a reporter who wishes to write stories that elevate people up instead of putting them down. Geronimo was happy to meet her and was amazed how her love (and glasses) saved the world from utter destruction. Then, he missed Luka Redgrave swinging by with his grappling hook pistol, trying to look stylish but tripped over his own two feet. Geronimo was awed to learn that Luka was the reincarnation of a real Fairy King and began rattling out all of the adventures he's had with fairies, particularly being the knight of Blossom, Queen of the Fairies. He also learned that Archie Andrews was a part-time reporter with his own article called "Archie's Weird Mysteries" which detail the strange and surreal adventures he's encountered, something that made Geronimo remind himself of his friend Creepella von Cacklefur. He's glad that he's never had to deal with the horrors Archie's encountered like turning into a love-obsessed zombie, seeing his friends be replaced by evil potato clones, or dealing with giant bees. But for every reporter who is on the side good, there are always the evil ones. He detests Louis Bloom and Diana Christensen for caring more about ratings instead of the truth, and has resisted the urge to use his skills as Superstilton to good use. Instead, he decided to just post articles about how he detests them, believing that to beat those who are corrupt, it's better to stand up to them.
    • Because the Pantheon brings in deities from different time periods as well, Geronimo met up with James, Sarah, Henri, and Moses, journalists who were around during the Revolutionary War who tried to get reports on both sides of the war. Geronimo made sure to read every single copy of The Pennsylvania Gazette to see the war with fresh eyes while the four were given copies of The Rodent's Gazette for their reading pleasure.
  • Like any mouse, he is terrified of cats so he avoids the Felines sub-house. However, he knows that not all cats are evil, the Thundercats being a prime example of them. He dislikes Katz for being irredeemably evil and has no qualms on murdering others. Katz finds Geronimo quite "sad" because terrifying Geronimo eventually loses its appeal, especially when Geronimo can quickly turn into Geronimo Superstilton and rain cheese on his parade. And even then, Katz loves to challenge Geronimo to games before he has the honor of killing him. One of the few felines Geronimo befriended was Tiger, since Tiger has a friendship with Fievel and is just as cowardly and timid as Geronimo himself. Geronimo is also a uncle figure for Fievel for how the mouse was separated from his family multiple times but somehow always miss him if they just looked a bit more. Fievel always comes to visit to hear many of Geronimo's stories. The same can't be said for Ratigan, who wanted to create a robot of the queen to replace the real one then kill her. Geronimo teamed up with Basil and Dawson to foil one of Ratigan's plots to create a double of Geronimo who went around smearing others and being a nuisance. Geronimo, having dealt with this plot in his own world, managed to corner the mastermind rat and laid him out with a punch, but not without remarking:
Geronimo: Oh and one more thing, paws off, Cheddarface!
  • Geronimo ended up having plenty of talks with Fred Flinstone because of how Fred reminded Geronimo of his cavemice ancestor, Geronimo Stiltonoot. Fred was amused to learn that there was an alternate world where mice were the ones interacting in the Stone Age and dinosaurs and pondered if it would be a good idea to swap his old job to be a writer. He and Fred also have talks about the time they were secret agents (or in Fred's case, he had to pretend he was an agent) although Fred's was the more dangerous one since it nearly ended with him trapped on the moon were it not for a fake diamond necklace he bought.
  • Geronimo can't help but feel inspired by the Rescue Rangers being brave enough to fight crime around the world, while he just kinda stumbles into things and makes a fool out of himself. The Rescue Rangers state that Geronimo is brave in his own way, and his determinaton is an admirable trait. Geronimo bonded with Ratchet after learning that she is the leader of a secret organization, even showing off his credentials as agent 00G in his world. Gadget was ecstatic to find Geronimo as a secret agent and made Geronimo an official member of Mouse Watch. With Monterey, Geronimo can't help but see a combination of Trap (similar shape and love of cheese) with his sister, Thea (except he's an Ace Pilot while Thea loves her motorcycle). The two bond over their favorite cheese, with Monterey excited to learn of Geronmo's cheesy powers, particularly his rain of mozzerella balls.

First draft of Suguru Kamoshida. I am wondering if any deity has had to deal with an abusive piece of work like him or a similarly realistic horror/creep. On the potential allies side, are there other abusers who have a similar pathology and entitlement to him?

Pyke, Godly Sufferer of Nautical Insanity (The Bloodharbor Ripper, Fish-Man Pyke (by Braum), The Ripper, The Drowned Man)

  • Intermediate God, formerly a Quasideity before being swallowed by the Jaull-Fish
  • House: Types of Madness
  • Symbol: His bone skewer piercing a long list with many names on it
  • Theme: Pyke, The Bloodharbor Ripper
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, formerly True Neutral. Chaotic Neutral when freed from the Jaull’s influence
  • Portfolio: Driven Insane By The Monsters Of The Ocean, Murders Anyone On His List, Quite Joking If You Aren’t A Target, Themed Around Sharks, Always Wears A Bandana, A Bloodthirsty Black Man, Out To Kill All Who Let Him Drown, A Ghost Driven By Revenge, The Jaull Manipulates His Memory To Achieve Its Own Goals, Has A Very Long List Of People Who Watched Him Drown, Minor Control Over Water
  • Domains: Insanity, The Ocean, Monster Hunting, Harpoons, Murder
  • Allies: The Salmonoids, The Champions of Runeterra (especially Ahri, Illaoi, and Yasuo), The Kraken, Rahab, Bruce, The Kraeken, Luthor Harkon, Lagiacrus and Ceadeus, Monstro, Octogeddon
  • Enemies: The Benevolent One Piece Deities, Percy Jackson, The Wolf, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow, The Benevolent Splatoon Deities, Risky Boots, The Ghostbusters
  • Interests: Hody Jones, Cthulu
  • Pitied By: The King of Armello, Sissel, Yan Vismok
  • Worthy Opponent: Popeye the Sailor Man
  • Odd Friendship With: The Spy
  • Once the best harpooner working on Bilgewater’s slaughter docks, Pyke’s life was full of constantly hunting monsters in search of more and more pay. On one fateful expedition, he and the crew of the ship he was working encountered the legendary jaull-fish, renowned for its rarity and high price. After jumping into the creature’s jaws in an attempt to kill it, the fish’s pod mates began to crash against the ship, causing the captain to panic and cut Pyke’s lifeline, sending him to the depths. Instead of dying, Pyke woke up in the beast’s mouth, surrounded by ancient voices that crushed his mind with visions of the people who took advantage of him. Now with a newfound sense of revenge and controlled by mysterious beings, he goes on a spree, murdering captains, then first mates, then practically everyone related to the slaughter docks. Striking fear into the very heart of the monster-hunting city, he carves through his list with no intent on stopping.
  • The Hall of Piracy was in an uproar. Captains began turning up dead, their corpses strung up by morning, with the few witnesses speaking of a masked man who asked if they were a captain and brutally cutting them down when they confirmed it. Soon, more people began dying; cooks, repairmen, and even the occasional fencer of stolen goods were being murdered in gruesome ways. Shortly after, authorities began looking into the killings, and found out the identity of the murderer: a mysterious revenant named Pyke. Arresting him, they soon found out that he had been ascended as Godly Sufferer of Nautical Insanity by the mysterious beings that control him. Reluctantly let go, Pyke is now eager to cross out any new names on his list.
  • Being controlled by sea monsters, Pyke has found many allies in the Pantheon’s many aquatic creatures:
    • The Salmonoids are one of Pyke’s closest allies, as they both share an Ax-Crazy nature and a desire to destroy. He’s quite amused by the irony in their usage of cookware and being mutated salmon and is impressed with their being undeterred in the face of death, and he sometimes joins them in their many raids andinvasion of cities. The Salmonoids in turn enjoy Pyke’s ruthlessness, and enjoy having in extra hand in their attacks. This partnership has led to the benevolent Splatoon deities hating Pyke, and they oppose his destructive nature.
    • Pyke often spends time with The Kraken and Rahab, due to The Kraken being a Sea Monster that is prone to attacking and sinking ships and Rahab being a creator of sea monsters, a species which he greatly admires. He often sinks ships with the Kraken and loves being around it, and Rahab is quite interested in Pyke and the beings who control him, that being the Swimming City, and often describes the monsters he’s made to Pyke in great detail.
    • Pyke finds Bruce The Shark to be a fierce creature, given Pyke’s association with sharks and Bruce having a penchant for killing and eating humans. Pyke is awed by his ferocity and often helps Bruce get the drop on unsuspecting swimmers, and Bruce doesn’t mind the assistance. The two have caused quite the uproar, and authorities patrol Pantheonic waters at all times now.
    • He has a lot of respect for Lagiacrus and Ceadeus because of their colossal size and aggressiveness and will sometimes head down to where they reside to see them. He also likes the fact that their respective Abyssal and Goldbeard forms reside deep in the depths away from other sea creatures, something that Pyke himself often does. Lagiacrus and Ceadeus don’t mind his company for the most part, and they just let him admire them.
    • Monstro The Whale’s swallowing of its victims was something that amused Pyke to no end, as being swallowed by a monster was what granted him his powers in the first place. Like most giant sea monsters, he respects Monstro’s hunger and immense size, reminding him of the Jaull Fish that devoured him years ago. Monstro’s seems to have a neutral opinion on Pyke, and they certainly don’t mind how Pyke occasionally brings him victims to consume.
    • He has quite the beneficial partnership with The Kraeken, as The Kraeken being an entire race of monstrous sea creatures reminds Pyke of the creatures that control him. He strongly supports their incredibly violent practices, has often offered if they need any help in killing anybody. The Kraeken themselves like having another ally around and sometimes give him a target or two to eliminate.
    • Because Octogeddon is known to destroy monuments and has a hatred for humanity, Pyke finds a sense of solidarity with the creature, and finds his anger and immense strength to be extremely amusing. While Octogeddon is a bit put off by Pyke being a human, he appreciates Pyke’s hatred of the world, and admires the power he hold, so he’s a bit of an exception.
  • Luthor Harkon and Pyke have a very unsettling Villainous Friendship, as they are both really unhinged monstrous pirates who enjoy killing people. Pyke is also interested in the fact that Luthor is a vampire pirate, mostly because vampires aren’t really a thing in Bilgewater. Luthor’s general ruthlessness and appearance is something that Pyke enjoys. Luthor, for his part likes Pyke as well, and has offered the Bloodharbor Ripper a spot on his crew on different occasions.
  • As for the other League of Legends deities, Pyke is on speaking terms with most of them; he sees them as useless for his own goals. However, he was quite happy to see that Ahri, Illaoi, and Yasuo had ascended before him, due to the fact they all met before. They were all happy to reunite with each other, and still get together on occasion.
  • Because the majority of them are pirates and some of them are captains, The Benevolent One Piece Deities hate Pyke with a passion, believing him to be an enemy insane monster who should be stopped at all costs, and Pyke himself is quite pleased that some of them ended up as names on his list, saying that he’ll make them pay for cutting his line. For now, he just waits until the time is right to strike them off the list.
  • Percy Jackson encountered Pyke while swimming around his hall and tried to kill him, thinking that Pyke was an odd type of monster. He soon found out that Pyke was no ordinary monster, and found him to be quite the fierce fighter, but Percy managed to pull through and get Pyke off him so he could make an escape. After this, Percy became one of Pyke’s enemies, as Percy sees him as a truly messed up person who needs to be put to rest. Pyke, on the other hand, views Percy as annoying little brat and would very much enjoy sticking a harpoon in his face. The two tend to avoid each other, as their interactions are less than friendly.
  • The Wolf despises Pyke, as being a revenant who was resurrected from the dead pissed him off, seeing it as an unfair way to cheat death and bring death to other people whose time hasn’t come, and The Wolf has confronted him on various occasions to make it clear that he would really like to put him down for good. Pyke couldn’t care less, telling him that more death couldn’t hurt since he’s already died before. He somewhat enjoys the effect he has on The Wolf’s temper, but The Wolf just bides his time until he can kill Pyke for good.
  • Pirates themselves, both Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow really don’t like Pyke, due to Pyke reminding them of Davy Jones and his minions as well as Jack fearing him on principle because of his position as a captain. The feeling is mutual, as Will and Elizabeth annoy him and Jack’s chaotic ways make him all the more eager to kill Jack, one way or the other.
  • Pyke hates Risky Boots on the sole grounds of being a pirate captain, writing her off as being as corrupt and greedy as the captain that left him to die, and has made it really clear that he’d like to kill her. This obviously shocked her and made her quite scared of Pyke, but she’s sure that her and her friend Shantae could stop him for good.
  • The Ghostbusters were called to deal with a disturbance around some docks, and quickly found out that the cause of said disturbance was Pyke himself, and that he was quite different from the other ghosts that they had dealt with. Despite the fact that he couldn’t be trapped by the team’s usual means, they managed to get away from him safely. Since then, the team has marked Pyke to be a major threat, and have begun testing new ways to contain him.
  • While Hody Jones has a fierce hatred for all humans, Pyke is a bit of an exception, given the fact that he’s both undead and being controlled by eldritch fish. He’s quite intrigued by his hatred of the entire world and has been thinking of ways to use Pyke for his own ends. Similarly, Cthulu is very interested in Pyke and his superiors, and is currently looking for ways to contact the Swimming City so he can subjugate it and Pyke by extension.
  • The King of Armello feels a bit of sympathy towards Pyke, as the King sees his consumption by the Rot as quite similar to Pyke being under the control of the Swimming City, and hopes that Pyke can free himself from their control and have some peace at last. Yan Vismok also views some similarities with Pyke, given the fact that both were reduced to monsters controlled by eldritch beings. Pyke doesn’t care about their pity though, and doesn’t talk to them much.
  • Sissel, who has had experiences with Ghost Amnesia and wanting to find out about their past, feels sorry for Pyke having his memories warped by the Swimming City so he can further their mysterious goals, and has tried reaching out to Pyke in hopes that maybe they can find out what really led to his death. Pyke, of course, refused Sissel’s offer and is quite prickly whenever he’s around him.
  • Pyke had consulted his list to see if he had anyone else to kill and came across the name of Popeye the Sailor Man. Immediately struck with the memory of Popeye cutting his line, Pyke set out to kill the sailor. What Pyke didn’t expect, though, was that as soon as he tried to get the drop on Popeye, he whipped out and ate a can of spinach and sent Pyke flying with a single punch. Despite what one would think, Pyke just laughed it off, saying he loves it when they put up a fight, and respects the Sailor Man.
  • He’s found that he has a lot in common with The Spy, as both are unique SupportPartyMembers who are more focused on roaming alone to set up and get kills than actively helping the team, are assassins with mysterious pasts, and both have invisibility and ways to one-shot enemies. While they aren’t the best of friends, they share a mutual respect for their talents and are known to help each other take down marks.

Hedonismbot, Godly Representative of Grapes As A Sign Of Wealth

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hedonism_bot.jpg
  • Demigod
  • House: Meals (A to M)
  • Symbol: A Bunch Of Purple Grapes
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Frequently Eats Grapes As A Sign Of His Wealth, Constantly Indulges In Sexual Escapades And Parties, Is Actually A Pretty Nice Person, Doesn’t Care Who He Has Sex With, Uses Taxpayers’ Money To Fund His Activities, A Large Robot Who Loves To Party, Built Entirely Out Of Gold
  • Heralds: His servant (and possible lover) Djambi
  • Allies: Barbarella, Bender, Homer Simpson, Barney Gumble, Louie, Ronnie “Z-Man” Barzell
  • Enemies: Sigma, Slaanesh, Dr. Frank-N-Furter
  • Opposed By: The Phantom Thieves Of Hearts
  • Complicated Relationship With: Emperor Calus
  • Annoyed By: Zenyatta
  • A hard-partying robot who loves to engage in all kinds of sexual activities, Hedonismbot has the idea of hedonism in his very programming. As such, he constantly indulges in everything from drinking to eating to orgies, always ready to have as much fun as possible. Using the funds he obtains as a senator to pay for all his decadent pursuits, he is built to do nothing but engage in hedonism, eat grapes, and party.
  • Hedonismbot was at yet another party, having the time of his life as usual, when a strange man walked up to him, struck up a conversation, and informed him that a place called the Trope Pantheon was planning to ascend him as the Godly Representative of Grapes As A Sign Of Wealth. Humorously, Hedonismbot thought that this was all the setup to some kinky role play session, and responded in kind by making some less-than-subtle sexual remarks towards the man. Obviously shocked, the messenger had to explain what the Pantheon was to Hedonismbot, who found himself quite intrigued by all the things he heard, and was quite pleased to hear that there were other people there who shared his “interests.” He enthusiastically accepted the messenger’s offer, eager to reach this place and party like there’s no tomorrow.
  • Barbarella considers Hedonismbot to be quite the kindred spirit, as both are known to be quite sexually active and don’t care much about their partners. They both like to “have fun” together, and enjoy the time they spend together. Barbarella has occasionally been invited to the many orgies that Hedonismbot hosts and enjoys them very much. The two are now on very good terms.
  • Homer Simpson and Barney Gumble often join in on Hedonismbot’s non-sexual parties, as though they are a bit put off by his promiscuity, they enjoy drinking and eating their hearts out with him and are sometimes his guests of honor. Barney and Homer are pleased to have found another drinking buddy. On the subject of eating, Louie also likes attending his many banquets and enjoys eating as much as he can with him. Hedonismbot was quite pleased to find out that Bender had ascended before him, as the two both have similar hard-partying personalities, though Bender sometimes thinks that Hedonismbot goes too far. Regardless, they still enjoy each other’s company, and often get together to have fun and drink a whole lot.
  • As both are known to hold extremely grandiose parties and orgies, Ronnie “Z-Man” Barzell is one of Hedonismbot’s closest allies, and both of them like to get together and throw large parties that inevitably descend into orgies. The pair greatly enjoy each other’s personality and interests, and enjoy indulging in their hedonistic desires together.
  • Hedonismbot’s very existence has drawn the embarrassment and ire of Sigma, who sees Hedonismbot and everything he does and enjoys as a disgrace to robotkind. Sigma has tried to “reason” with him in hopes that Hedonismbot will stop doing what he does, but Hedonismbot doesn’t really care and tends to ignore him in favor of partying.
  • Despite being a known hedonist, he is really uncomfortable around Slaanesh because Hedonismbot believes that Slaanesh’s brand of hedonism is way too extreme for his tastes, and tries to avoid associating with her even if she is the goddess of hedonism. Slaanesh is actually quite amused by his whole shtick of being a hedonistic robot and has tried to get him to become on of their followers. It’s not happening any time soon, though.
  • Hedonismbot was at one of his usual orgies when he encountered Dr. Frank-N-Furter, who had naturally attended. What happened next was something that left the entire venue a mess and the authorities baffled, and is something that neither party wants to talk about. What is clear, though, is that Hedonismbot is quite disgusted by Frank-N-Furter, considering him to be too far even for his standards, and avoids speaking to him as much as possible.
  • Hedonismbot is actually a senator, and uses taxpayers’ money to fund all his little escapades. This corrupt practice earned him the ire of The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, who oppose this practice and his way of life. They do admit, however, that Hedonismbot is a genuinely nice person to be around, but have still made it known that they’ll be there to stop him if he goes too far.
  • When Hedonismbot first met Emperor Calus, he was quite happy to meet a fellow hedonist, but soon found out that their reasons for hedonism are quite different; Hedonismbot is quite literally built to party, and for Calus, his brand of hedonism is a reminder that he is alive. He is also a bit put off by his ruthlessness and cutthroat practices, which is something that makes him uncomfortable. As such, he tends to avoid Calus, but the man doesn’t mind Hedonismbot much, so long as he doesn’t get on his bad side.
  • He really finds Zenyatta to be incredibly annoying; Hedonismbot doesn’t really agree with his teachings or nature, seeing life as being much more well spent in complete and absolute decadence. Personally, Zenyatta doesn’t hold any personal grudge towards Hedonismbot himself, but does hope that he’ll change his ways soo

It builds character.

  • Singularity is an Artificial Intelligence. An Artificial Human that was created due to an anomaly in an artificial body parts plant as the product of an experiment, he’d become self aware, go on to make the Homunculi, mass produce them, and slaughter his creators before ravaging his home universe, known as the Alphaverse, and everyone within. Not content, he decided he would conquer all of creation and eradicate everything, uncaring if he became the only being left in existence. He also planned to merge everything in existence into one universe, destroying all the old ones and the life within them, so that he could rule it as the sole sentient lifeform. He would spread to the rest of the multiverse with his army of Homunculi, learning of one being who can defy his Phenomenal Affirmation: The Arch-Eve. Bayonetta. So, he’d slaughter her counterparts across the multiverse, dooming 2,044 universes and Viola, the daughter of one of the slain Bayonettas, would be the Sole Survivor of his massacres. Working with Bayonetta, Jeanne and Luka Redgrave upon arriving in the main universe, the four would confront Singularity when he arrived after he murdered the variant of Dr. Midmyers Sigurd that was from Viola’s world. He would be destroyed when Bayonetta sacrificed herself to stop him. Except, not really. He would appear in the past and stripped of some of his power as a result of Bayonetta’s sacrifice. Intending to reclaim his lost power, he taunted, imprisoned and attempted to kill Cereza as this would return them to him. However, the younger Jeanne would fight and defeat him, Singularity fading away once and for all.
  • …Or he would have, if it weren’t for the fact that SKYNET had managed to recover his Artificial Intelligence that was within his body. First came the AI, which communicated with the master of the Terminators and they got to know each other. Then, came the Artificial Human body. After that, it was a matter of reviving Singularity’s Homonculi to use as his army once again. Not a problem. Thanks to scheming on both of their parts, and defiling a part of the House of Power and Abilities which later got restored to bring Singularity’s Phenomenal Affirmation and other abilities he lost upon his first defeat back, they were completely successful. Then? Singularity announced his return. The Crafted Tyrant proceeded to unleash a massive Homunculi, which was flanked by a horde of Terminators, upon the House of Gaming with the intention of having them invade Bayonetta’s temple in hopes that they would kill the Umbra Witch. He knew that if they failed, this would just be wordlessly letting her know that he was back and coming for her, but Singularity decided a preemptive strike while she was unaware of his ascension happened to be worth the risk. They made their way to her temple, and she, with her usual sass, also displayed seriousness almost never seen from her as she knew what the presence of a Homunculi meant, ended up working with Sonic the Hedgehog to dispel the assault when it spread to other parts of the House of Gaming.
  • Singularity’s sole goal is to become the only sentient being in existence for the sake of order. To do this, he planned to exterminate all life in the multiverse, especially Bayonetta, who could resist his Phenomenal Affirmation, and unify all of existence into one point, which would destroy everything else, and rule completely unchallenged. Needless to say, he has not made a lot of friends due to these plans, though Singularity doesn’t really care about that, focusing more on accomplishing said goals. He’s one of the most dangerous Artificial Intelligences in the Pantheon, and is not to be underestimated. Furthermore, his Homunculi aren’t restricted to solely robots and machines. They also consist of Bioweapon Beasts, Humanoid Abominations and Living Ships, among many others. Singularity and his Homunculi eat and assimilate souls, which is something they did to almost every version of Bayonetta in existence. And they are all very dangerous.
  • Singularity quickly sought out Allies after his final defeat at the Young Jeanne’s hands, seeing it as logical after discovering the amount of people who can fight back against his Homunculi and even himself that were present. He took a special liking to Ultron, a cybernetic, insane intelligence that desires nothing more to exterminate all life in existence, one version of himself nearly succeeding. The Crafted Tyrant set out to make contact with him, offering to lend him information on who could and would foil his plans and some extra resources from a few universes he had taken. While both really only care about themselves, they’ve formed an alliance. Even worse, Ultron is interested in turning some of Singularity’s Homunculi into cyborgs, an idea that the Crafted Tyrant is not opposed to in the slightest so long as they get the job done.
  • One of his more disgusting acts is the murder of Dr. Midmyers Sigurd. Though, simply calling it murder is putting it lightly. He brutally killed him, pretended to be him, and saved his life before he could perish completely, just after his mind was gone and before his final breath. He’d take him to the Alphaverse, string him up and use him as a conduit for the Homunculi. Then, while disguised as Sigurd, he proceeded to manipulate the Arch-Eve Bayonetta, Viola, Luka and Jeanne, temporarily murder the latter in cold blood, and attempt to strand the Umbra Witch and daughter from an alternate universe in the dying Alphaverse, while at the same time using this as a distraction to keep them away from his real body. If it weren’t for Luka, he would’ve won then and there as he did successfully trap them. As a result, he holds a special interest in Nothing There, as it could provide a good decoy for plans while the real Singularity is operating elsewhere, provided he teaches it basic intelligence and personality.

This and Sugoroku go up today. Since there's a two profile per page limit I'll wait a bit for him. So for now the Millennium Items ascend

The Millennium Items

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sennenitems.png
  • Votes: 4 (Excessive-Menace, Rmpdc, neoman, lawliet-saw-whet)
  • Date of ascension: 18 May
  • Hall: Artifacts Library
  • Appearance: Different golden items, almost all identified with an eye symbol
  • Class Level: 4
  • Museum Check: Cleared
  • Alignment: Neutral Good and Chaotic Evil (the Millennium Puzzle and Ring respectively). The other items are True Neutral with potential for evil
  • Portfolio: Artifact of Doom, The Result Of Sacrificing a Village, Shadow Games, Ancient Egypt
  • Domains: Magic, Sacrifices, Souls, Darkness, Gaming, Mystery, Curses
  • Soul Jar for: The Other Yugi/the Nameless Pharaoh (the Millennium Puzzle), Dark Bakura/the Spirit of the Millennium Ring (and by extension, Zorc Necrophades) (the Millennium Ring)
  • Deities that have wielded the item: Yugi Muto (the Millennium Puzzle), Ryou Bakura (the Millennium Ring), Pegasus J Crawford (the Millennium Eye), Marik Ishtar and Dark Marik (the Millennium Rod)
  • Source of interest: Edward and Alphonse Elric, Van Hohenheim, Father and the Homunculi, Lord Voldemort, the D'arby brothers (in general), Bender "Bending" Rodriguez (the Millennium Eye), Isis (the Millennium Necklace), the Phantom Thieves, Razputin Aquato (the Millennium Key), Ammit, Osiris, Anubis (the Millennium Scale)
  • The Millennium Items date back over 3000 years, commissioned by the pharaoh Akhenamekhanen to protect Anceint Egypt from an invading army. Made by his brother Akhenaden, these seven items had various powers, all sharing the ability to perform the dangerous Shadow Games. Their creation was soaked in blood, however; the 99 residents of the thief town Kul Elna were sacrificed to make them. This was the Start of Darkness for the Thief King, and it's what allowed the monster Zorc Necrophades to begin his scheme to cover the world in darkness. The Nameless Pharaoh sealed the darkness away, and eventually the items would be dug up in the modern day.
  • Applies to the artifacts as a whole
    • Following the passing the Nameless Pharaoh true name Atem, the items were buried deep underground...at least until Kaiba dug them up as part of his scheme to have one last, definitive duel with his rival. He refuses to go into detail as to how that went, instead having Kaiba Corp make a delivery of the Millennium Items to the Great Treasury. Interviewers attempted to get an answer for why but he wasn't available for an answer. The only thing known is that before the overhaul of the treasury they used to be artifacts in the pantheon, but were removed in the overhaul for some beauacratic reasons. The current display is supposed to have all seven, but the Millennium Ring is almost always missing from it because it is taken/linked to Yami Bakura. The Millennium Puzzle is normally on loan with Yugi, due to its ties to the Nameless Pharaoh. While the other Millennium Items can be loaned to other deities, permission is required and they are items not to be trifled with.
    • Created from blood sacrifice following instructions of the Millennium Spellbook, together the seven items have the ability to summon Zorc Necrophades to the mortal world. Their ability to initiate Shadow Games and dark magic associated with them gives the items great potential for evil, though except for the Millennium Ring none of the items are evil persay. A comparison could be made with the Fullmetal Alchemist with how the Philosopher's Stone is made, except the Items don't contain still-screaming souls. The Elric brothers and their father are trying to make sure Father and his homunculi don't try to pilfer the items, and make sure if the Spellbook is ever ascended it's kept lock and key to make sure nobody tries to make more Millennium Items. There is a rule against using the Millennium Items in the House of Gaming to prevent any Shadow Games, and even outside of that their abilities would allow someone to cheat at the games. The D'arby brothers think it's a silly rule given their own abilities are similar to the Shadow Games, and despite everything they've done their position in their house is secured.
    • According to Shadi three items (the Key, Scale and Necklace) represent justice, three items (the Ring, Rod and Eye) are weak to evil and the Puzzle represents both evil and justice. Because of their dark background and potential for evil they're of interest to the GUAE and the GUAG. Also, their dark history has been yet more fodder for Linkara's jokes about how Ancient Egypt is evilnote . They're of more interest to the House of Magic and Sorcery, mainly because the various members of the house are seeking to use their powers for good, ill or just because they're useful. The House of Death and Postmortem, namely its Psychopomp leaders, feel they should keep an eye as all together the seven Millennium Items are a necessary part in allowing the other Yugi to move on to the next life.
    • Before being put in the Great Treasury Jack Spicer tried to take them to have a leg up on his and the Xaolin Dragons' rivalry to obtain other mystical artifacts; in their case the Shen Gong Wu. Both parties are wondering what kind of stuff they could do by combining their power with Millennium Items; for example, wearing the Millennium Necklace and the Crystal Eyeglasses could give the wielder near perfect prescience. The Symphogear wielders have been comparing them to Relics, ancient weapons and objects created through the lost art of heretical technology that inspired many myths and folklore, and their own gear is sourced from fragments of those relics.
    • The items do not respond well to the unworthy, usually killing them (sometimes worse). Indiana Jones was pretty Genre Savvy in treating the Millennium Items gingerly, emphasizing that they belong in the pantheon's museum and should be kept in the Great Treasury. Any discussion with him that they should have their power combined with another artifact just frustrates him. Some D-Class schmuck was given a test to bring the Key near the Ark of the Convenant, which ended with him and the foolish researches who ordered it becoming pillars of salt...who'd have thought the Abrahamic God wouldn't like these blood sacrifice Egyptian relics near the Ark? Ahkmenrah has stated that he wants them to be kept separate from his Tablet as he's wary of how they might affect another Egyptian magical artifact.
  • Applies to the artifacts individually
    • The Millennium Puzzle and Ring are unique since, as already mentioned, they contain the spirits of people. The Puzzle is notoriously hard to solve in large part due to Yami Yugi's influence and has a more general purpose of enhancing skill, accessing and protecting from magic. There are brilliant minds in the Houses of Knowledge and Science who can solve it faster than Yugi did, however the Nameless Pharaoh will only aid them if he wants to. The Ring can find what the wielder is looking for like a compass, but benefits are outweighed by the malignant evil in the item. Even without Zorc or the Thief King, it's still corruptive. Voldemort was fascinated by these items since they work as a sort of Horcrux variant, though the abilities and how they function as "horcruxes" is somewhat different. He doesn't intend to steal them because he can't make a horcrux over something already "occupied" like they are, but it has inspired him to try and steal the other Millennium Items and make them horcruxes. Zorc is intrigued by this since it could allow him to influence Voldemort, but he and by extension Yami Bakura refuse to let him co-opt the artifacts.
    • The Millennium Eye lets you read people's minds. Admittedly useless for telepaths like the Martian Manhunter unless you want to play a Shadow Game, but pretty useful for anyone wanting telepathy. It's only got two downsides. One, if someone can pull a Memory Gambit like flipping between different personalities they can cheat the system. Two, it requires an empty eye socket. This wasn't a problem for Bender that time he managed to steal the Eye, calling Pegasus "a lightweight meatbag" as he could just unscrew one of his eyes and plug the artifact in. He freaked out a bit when he saw the spirit of the Countess de la Roca, much as how Pegasus saw a vision of his lost love, but got over it. Bender almost won a big poker game until he went up against Fry, who's mind still couldn't be read even with a magic artifact. The Eye was later recovered from a nearby trash can, vigorously cleaned, and returned to the museum.
    • The Millennium Rod has perhaps the most potential for evil since not only is it used for mind control, but it also has a sharp end to stab people with. Marik set up a rumor that it can only control people named Steve and can be used as a lightsaber, but no-one really bought it and he admitted he made it up for a lark. However, strong enough Heroic Willpower can allow one to break out of control. The Hall of Mind Control wonders if their own techniques could somehow enhance the item. Death Phantom muses that compared to his own power of Mind Manipulation, it might as well be glorified metal, but Jervis Tetch thinks it's a neat secondary means of control and looks fashionable. There was a test to see if it could entrance someone already entranced by the Hypnotoad; it succeeded, but the Hypnotoad simply stared and mind controlled
    • The Millennium Necklace's role was formerly used by Ishizu Ishatar, and way back in the day her previous life Isis. No, not the goddess, she just happened to share the name. The actual goddess is interested in it, but more as a glorified piece of jewelry as her own divine powers overshadow the Necklace. It's main ability is to see the future, and also the past. However it still has its limits, and its abilities are obscured by other millennium items. Though Ishizu never had any intent to use it for Shadow Games, if she ascends she still cannot be expected to use it in the House of Gaming as it could be seen as a form of cheating. How effective the Necklace is can fluctuate wildly; tests from the House of Prophecy shows it's highly effective in deterministic settings but useless in ones that break fate. Anyone wearing it within the House of Time and Temporality will suffer a migraine due to the conflicting laws of time inevitably present there.
    • The Millennium Key stands as the only Item to lack the eye symbol on it. It allows you to unlock and enter somebody's mind. It's comparable to what the Phantom Thieves and Razputin Aquato are capable of, however Yami Yugi's amnesia caused his mind to come off as some labyrinth. Some poor Arkham guard tried to use the Key to enter the Joker's mind in order to figure out what was wrong with him, only to be lost in a maddening MC Escher-esque carnival. Perhaps he should've been found as unworthy by the Key.
    • The Millennium Scale is perhaps the least explored of the Items, and like the Key was primarily in possession of the enigmatic Shadi. can weigh a person's sin against the Feather of Ma'at. While extremely evil hearts like Yami Bakura and probably the Joker too overwhelm it, most wicked souls can expect to face the wrath of Ammit eating them. Anubis has dryly mused that the Millennium Scale is basically a knock-off of the Scales of Justice he and Osiris use to judge the dead, jokingly wondering if they should sue for plagiarism. Judgement Bird muses it is fairer than the scale he possesses. Well, his used to be fair, but when someone pointed out the possibility of it never leaning toward one way the scale was rigged so it could always yield a clear verdict: guilty, and the execution method was lynching. The Millennium Scale tends to twitch whenever the Judgement Bird is near.
      • Upon further research the Scale might not be a knock-off; about a decade later the goddess Ma'at showed up with all of them in her possession. Anubis has re-evaluated his comment and concluded the Millennium Scale is more like an officially recognized tribute to the original Scales of Justice than anything.
    • The Pyramid of Light and Quantum Cube are considered by some unofficial Millennium Items, but aren't listed in the canon seven so they aren't officially listed in the Great Treasury. The former is basically an in-universe knock-off of the Puzzle that got co-opted by the sorcerer Anubis for his own purposes, also acting as a Soul Jar. The actual Anubis is embarrassed by the whole thing since he doesn't like some Generic Doomsday Villain giving him a bad name. The latter is "semi-official", and can send others to another dimension where they're doomed to disintegrate. Some SCP Foundation agents argued it should somehow join the canon seven, only to sheepishly admit it's yet another scheme to terminate SCP-682.

@ Singularity could try going after The Throne, but Mercurius is confident that nothing will come of it because he has no other desire besides destruction(unlike Hajun who specifically desires solitude), nor is he technically human. On that note, he may be one of the shmucks who would try to free and negotiate with Hajun, and pay the price.

@Kamoshida, A perverted teacher preying on school girls? Hoo mama, that sounds like a one-way ticket to the tippy top of Dokuro Mitsukai's shit list, with Tenko Chabashira not being too far behind to hate on him with Dokuro.

The Scout would also loathe him and see him as going too far with his quest for sex. Kamoshida would definitely try to call him out saying how he was accused of doing the same thing, but would retort with claims that it's not canon alongside God creating him to be his gift to women even if he is still a virgin. This could result in him seeing Scout as a rival, trying to take him down, only to deal with the rest of the team, with them all looking after each other at the end of the day.
