Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

The Monster Sanctuary can remind Reimu Hakurei of Gensokyo, a Small, Secluded World in Japan made to keep mythological creatures, magic and gods alive as waning human belief in the supernatural is driving them to extinction. Reimu's life is dedicated to keeping the Barrier that keeps Gensokyo hidden intact.

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMY
TV Tropes' dedicated hee-ssential worker.
In the absence of Armor-Piercing Attack, is it possible that Urshifu could be moved to Unblockable Attack in the wake of this error? The same logic applies, with Urshifu's signature ability (Unseen Fist) allowing its physical attacks to bypass Protect and Protect-like moves. Its G-Max attack, G-Max One Blow/G-Max Rapid Flaw has the same effect.
For the last time, Absolute:
1. The profile in question was not remotely ready to be published, and is currently in the midst of being relocated in the wake of Radio accidentally taking something Hamana reserved.
2. You cannot, under any circumstances, upvote profiles until you published two. Bare minimum. I hate having to stress it like this, but you repeatedly trying to do as such absent-mindedly makes you look foolish at best and intentionally ignorant at worst. Do not do this again, or otherwise, there may be further trouble with the mods down the line.

Trans rights! 🏳️⚧️@Absolute: Other Pokémon profiles don't have pictures of members of the evolution line that aren't in the profile.
@Menace: I'll add your suggestions to the Monster Sanctuary profile later; I've just woken up. However, I've added more to it since my last post.
What Mon owners would be interested in visiting the Sanctuary?

- For as long as there has been life in this world, there have been monsters, beings of powerful might and magic. They come in a variety of forms, such as animals, plants, living objects, and ethereal spirits. People who raise monsters from hatching are called keepers. 490 years ago, they went to war with kings who wanted to exploit nature at the expense of monsters. To end this war, the four Spectral Familiars created the Monster Sanctuary, an island magically sealed off from the rest of the world, where monsters and keepers could live in peace.
- Most people in the Monster Sanctuary live in the Keepers' Stronghold, a stone fortress that was created by the Spectral Lion. There are plenty of services for Keepers here, such as shops that sell goods for adventuring, and a blacksmith who upgrades monsters' equipment. Above it is the Infinity Tower, where Keepers and their monsters can test their skills in battle.
- The Mountain Path is west of the Stronghold. It's full of weak monsters, making it the perfect place for young Keepers to start their journeys. However, the grasslands above and the caverns below are filled with secrets. It contains a series of stone tablets that tell the history of the Sanctuary in rhyming couplets. It's also home to Old Buran, a man who raises Blobs and trains new Keepers.
- The Blue Caves are below the Stronghold, and filled with moss and mushrooms. It's full of high ledges, making it difficult to navigate without the aid of double-jump boots and flying monsters; fortunately, the former can be found here. In 490 ACnote , several Champion monsters — wild ones that are stronger than usual — mysteriously appeared here, and the latest generation of Spectral Keepers met each other when they set out to investigate why. The lower levels are filled with water. At the deepest point is a door that can only be opened with the five Sanctuary Tokens.
- The Stronghold Dungeon is also below the Stronghold, east of the Blue Caves, and contains the Sanctuary's only prison. It was designed for monsters who like to live in dark, damp places such as sewers, so the water is green. It also hides an ancient library. Will, Keeper of the Spectral Toad, was interested in it... and so were the alchemists who tried to take over the Sanctuary.
- The Ancient Woods, east of the Dungeon, is home to the Tree of Evolution, which stands on the spot where the Monster Sanctuary was created. Keepers can use special items, called catalysts, here to permanently change certain monsters into different (but not necessarily stronger) forms. It's also home to most of the goblin tribes, including their king. While goblins can be hatched and raised like any other monster, they're just as intelligent as humans, and can talk and form societies. It also has an extensive system of dark, underground caves filled with rare monsters.
- Snowy Peaks, west of the Mountain Path, is perpetually frozen. Its inner caverns are full of giant crystals created by crystal snails, one of the oldest species of monsters. The icy lake is so cold that it's impossible to enter without warm underclothes made by a woman who lives at the summit. It's home to a ghost known only as the Frozen Oracle, who gives Keepers advice on how to protect the Monster Sanctuary, and makes them fight a Champion Akhlut (an orca with legs) as a test of their worth.
- The Sun Palace is below the Snowy Peaks and west of the Blue Caves. It's a golden temple created by the Spectral Eagle that houses an artificial sun which protects the Sanctuary from natural disasters, and represents the peace Keepers should strive towards. An alchemist tried to upset the balance by shifting the sun towards darkness, but the caretaker's koi (not to be confused with mundane koi) sacrificed itself to return it to normal. After this, monsters in the Sanctuary became able to shift towards light or darkness, giving them alternate forms with different colours, higher stats, and new abilities.
- Horizon Beach is to the east of the Ancient Woods. It's home to a ranch where Keepers can leave monsters, and is the Sanctuary's only link to the outside world; ships are occasionally let through the magical barrier. In the east are cliffs that only monsters with the best flight capabilities can reach. 300 years ago, it was home to Captain Carter, a pirate whose ship could pass through the barrier at all times. In the present, his descendant challenged three of the Spectral Keepers to find his family's treasure in the undersea caverns.
- The Magma Chamber is beneath the Ancient Woods. The magma level was so high that most of it was inaccessible until Will read out a runestone inscription by the legendary hero Siegmund, which magically lowered it. It's home to Rhazes, and alchemist who has no interest in conquest and just wants to practice his craft, who sells potions in his workshop. The most experienced Keepers can test their mettle in duels against the 25 Legendary Keepers in their hidden room.
- The Underworld can only be accessed from the door in the Blue Caves. It's a dark, dreary place with a sickly green sky inhabited by undead and occult monsters. It was abandoned a long time ago, so it's full of crumbling ruins, including a tower with pillars that must be moved in order to access certain rooms. The alchemists stole Julia and Leonard's familiars here.
- The Mystical Workshop is above the Stronghold Dungeon. It was built to maintain and repair steam golems shortly after they arrived in 278 AC, but they soon learned to replicate themselves. Now, it's inhabited by all sorts of mechanical monsters. While most of the Sanctuary has medieval technology, the Workshop is filled with gears and pipes. At the very top is a statue that reveals a connection between the alchemists and the occult.
- The Abandoned Tower is above the Mystical Workshop. It requires the powers of all four Spectral Keepers to access, and for good reason: at the very top is the Sanctuary Genesis, where the alchemists planned to use the powers of the four familiars to recreate the Sanctuary in their image. Its purple, brick walls are crumbling, and it's inhabited by the strongest monsters.
- Blob Burg is hidden west of the Magma Chamber. For a long time, Old Buran was the only person who knew about it, for it can only be accessed by unlocking three hidden blob statue. Blobs are a common sight throughout the sanctuary, but almost every species of them lives here. The water is green, and slime drips from the rocky walls.
- The Forgotten World is below the Horizon Beach, and was abandoned for over two thousand years, so it's inhabited by ancient monsters that can't be found anywhere else. The ground is covered in giant mushrooms and vines. Millions of years ago, the Twelve Celestials planted the World Tree here to bring forth life and magic. If it dies, so does all other life on the planet. Later, the Celestial Dragon tried to conquer the world, so the others, led by the Celestial Raven, fought back. The last time they clashed, three thousand years ago, the Dragon killed the Raven and trapped the World Tree's attendant in a block of ice. Now, only four of the Celestials remain: the Spectral Familiars, who have only a fraction of their former power and had forgotten all about this.
- The Spectral Familiars are very strict about who is allowed in the Monster Sanctuary. People who would exploit the monsters, such as Pokémon Hunter J and Dr. Eggman, were instantly banned. Neither visitors nor locals are allowed to take the Sanctuary's monsters into other parts of the Pantheon in case they wreak havoc. Surprisingly, the Monster Sanctuary quickly formed diplomatic ties with Paleo Pines, another sparsely-populated island where people live in harmony with the wildlife.
- [Beatrix and blobs]
- The Pantheon has plenty of humans who befriend fantastical monsters and command them in battle, so naturally many of then were interested in the Monster Sanctuary. Visitors are warned to only let their Mons fight the wild monsters in self-defence as a last resort, but they're free to challenge keepers to duels.
The Monster Rancher Crew would likely take an interest in the Monster Sanctuary as they come from a world where humans raise monsters (except for Genki, he was isekaied there). The Monster Hunters might be banned as their job involves fighting and slaying creatures.

Should Atlantica go in Video Game Stages as well? It's not from a video game or a work inspired by them, but Under the Sea is primarily a video game trope.
It's Valentine's Day, and to go along with how I commemorate the day, here's my updated draft on Shirayuki and Zen. I'd added enough for them and I think they're good to go. Approvals are up, but if anyone is willing to offer some last-minute suggestions, I wouldn't mind...

- Shirayuki is an aspiring herbalist who lived in the kingdom of Tanbarun. Although a seemingly ordinary girl, she quickly gained attention thanks to her unusual red hair, an exquisite rarity for many to showcase and sell for. Catching the unwanted attention of the then-spoiled prince, Raji Shenazard, Shirayuki decided to cut her hair and escape to the neighborhood kingdom of Clarines where she would encounter an entourage of knights led by Zen Wisteria, the second prince and heir to the kingdom. Quickly becoming acquainted with him as well as a skirmish against Raji, Shirayuki would settle down in Clarines, becoming a student in a pharmacy branch of the kingdom's court in the hopes of developing and improving her skills and credentials as well as getting herself involved in Zen's endeavor of proving himself a capable prince, diplomat, and warrior for Clarines, especially in comparison to his older brother, the first heir and eventual king, Izana. Their tale eventually involved them traveling to different lands and working together on different tasks, respecting and then falling in love with each other thanks to their strong moral conviction and drive to do good, helped by how Shirayuki's actions would allow her to redeem an assassin named Obi as well as convincing Raji to become a better person. Though the two have made a vow to marry each other in the future, the pair still have themselves getting caught up in all sorts of events.
- Initially, it was a normal sunny day in Clarines; Shirayuki headed out to carry out her profession in the court pharmacy while Zen got caught up in having to read and sign a bunch of diplomacy papers. Essentially, it was a typical, yet relaxing time for the former while the latter felt he was droning on with boring work, but still kept his composure in getting his priorities settled. The seemingly ordinary day would be turned around when Mitsuhide walked in to alert Zen about a letter addressed to him and Shirayuki that arrived a little while ago, with the second prince deciding to wait until his love was done with her first shift so they could read the letter together. Once said opportunity arrived, Shirayuki and Zen read the letter together, reading that congratulations were in order, for they were to be part of a "Pantheon" and were appointed as "deities". The pair were a bit puzzled by what the letter meant by "Pantheon" and "deities" as they felt it was a bit out of left field, but they were approved by a visitor in the form of a gorgeous lady in white who went by Cosmos, who explained the Pantheon to Shirayuki and Zen. It took a while, especially considering the divine realms were a separate world connected to theirs solely by their ascension, but the pair decided to make the most of it, even if they admit being part of the Pantheon might be a bit tough, to say the least. There are more kingdoms and lands to be explored for the duo as well as a vast swathe of plants for Shirayuki to discover, much to their delight.
- Shirayuki and Zen are mainly defined by their loyalty and affection for each other, for both are more than willing to do what it takes to protect and care for each other. Both are naturally good people at heart, mainly working to help others in need and to achieve the best outcome for them and their loved ones. The drive to help and provide for others is why Shirayuki fell in love with Zen and vice versa, and this was a cause for concern as Zen's royal status meant he was meant to be married off to a noble of another kingdom, which he objected to favoring Shirayuki above anyone else regardless of her social standing. Beyond their selfless and good-hearted nature, Zen is a proficient combatant in hand-to-hand and swordsmanship as well as commanding good leadership. He's also developed a strong resistance to poison, likening to many assassination attempts on him before meeting Shirayuki as he also decided to risk his well-being to ensure his enemies don't kill him with poison so easily. While Shirayuki lacks combat training, she's a highly resourceful woman, capable of using her craft and knowledge to develop specific herbs for situational uses to fend for herself and aid others and she's trained enough in medical training to know how to treat the injured and ill on the fly. Finally, Shirayuki has a strange ability to try to appeal to the best of others to win their respect and ensure their friendship and loyalty towards her. While it hasn't exactly worked on everyone, those like Obi and Raji, who were affected by Shirayuki's inspiring and gentle personality, cite this as her best skill aside from herbology and it seems likely that this would be her defining trait in the Pantheon.
- Despite their naturally good looks and reputation, Shirayuki and Zen only have their romantic affections fixated on each other and are more than willing to put their life on the line for each others' safety. This was very quickly noticed by the House of Love and Affection, where most deities were generally encouraging of the sort of love they possess. But despite being a strong theme for them, the couple admitted to having other priorities that feel more urgent for them to pay much attention to, but they are eager for the opportunity to visit the House for special events and occasions if they can. At the very least, the couple is happy to see that they're making relatable friends there, particularly on couples based on each other's moral wisdom and virtue, with Naruto and Hinata being a very apparent example of the many similarities they share. Naruto and Hinata’s shared hobby of watering plants was also something that Shirayuki took notice of and is eager to participate in such as a way to further spend time and bond with them while the former’s occupation as Hokage is a little similar to Zen’s role of having to represent Clarines, though he and Naruto admit to having more respect on each other based on their determined and caring nature.
- The two have a strong Lady and Knight dynamic, with many pointing out that Shirayuki and Zen would have been its strongest representative if it weren't for Konoka Konoe and Setsuna Sakurazaki. Many were quick to point out those occupying similar roles, such as Link and Princess Zelda, whom Shirayuki and Zen quickly got along with for reasons relating to their strong conviction to help others. Others like Robb Stark and King Arthur himself didn't have their significant other ascended alongside them, but were renowned for their romance with Talisa and Guinivere respectively, and quickly understood Shirayuki and Zen’s affections for each other, thus their friendship with one another. They’re also happy to see that Clarines is a thriving and friendly place to visit, allowing for easy relations to be established regarding support and trade and Arthur is willing to offer some advice regarding love and affection based on experience, though Zen is understandably wary of visiting and dealing with Westeros from what has been told by Robb, even without mentioning his (and Talisa’s) own gruesome death.
- A notable factor about Shirayuki is her name; it translates to "Snow White" in the Japanese language, much to her surprise upon learning about It in the Pantheon. Even more notably, Snow White was the name of around four individuals in the Pantheon with similar background stories; namely, they’re all women renowned for their physical beauty which was considered mystical by others, and for being pure of heart, descriptions which all fitted Shirayuki aptly. Regardless, each iteration had its differences in personality and narrative outcome, and Shirayuki wasn't any stranger to that, though she didn't let that deter her from seeing the unique qualities and traits in the Snow Whites she met and encountered. She naturally became friends with them and is even considered an honorary Snow White, with Shirayuki admiring their quirks like their ability to inspire good and innocence, proving themselves understanding yet capable of asserting their thoughts, capable combatants, and proving one’s worth regardless of appearances. That said, The Evil Queen took notice of Shirayuki and felt immense rage at how she was yet another Snow White for her to deal with, not to mention how her beauty still made the Queen’s own feel more undesirable, leading to her to also plan on killing Shirayuki, that is if she can get past Zen, whom the Queen stresses might be too much of a challenge to deal with personally.
- (Royalty [marrying for love instead of for politics/power]) A major point of contention, mainly for Zen, is how royals are expected to marry someone from another kingdom as a means to consolidate and assert political power and influence. Simply put, his love for Shirayuki takes top precedence and he wants to prove himself a good man as he is a good leader. The two are happy to see that there are royals in the Pantheon who chose to marry someone out of personal affection, most notably Alm and Celica despite both being of royal heritage. Both pairs very quickly came to like and respect each other for their dedication to serving and bettering their respective kingdoms despite the hurdles they go through, not to mention Zen and Alm have some commonality in being reputable warriors, and Shirayuki and Celica have a talent in appealing for the best in others and seeking peaceful outcomes, regardless if it doesn't end well. A similar friendship with the Clarines couple also occurred with Princess Jasmine of Agrabah, who made her choice to marry a street thief, of all people solely because he was a good and humble man. Speaking of which, Aladdin could strangely see himself associating himself with Shirayuki over having to deal with misfortune due to personal circumstances as well as having absent fathers for most of their lives due to their occupation, which helped with them becoming good friends.
- Zen has a pretty complex relationship with his older brother. He and Izana don't outwardly show their affection for each other and have a lot of disagreements regarding how the former should deal with his priorities and goals as a prince, but they do care for each other regardless and Izana would begrudgingly allow Zen’s affection for Shirayuki to carry on as well as respect his younger brother for his talents as a good leader and as a good man. As a result, complicated sibling relations in royalty weren't too surprising for Shirayuki and Zen, but they were stunned at how extreme they could get as demonstrated by the Nohrian Royal Siblings who were forced into a bloody conflict out to kill each other to earn their mother’s favor, which revolted the Clarines pair, especially after learning neither sibling were bad people and we're driven by extreme peer pressure and wanting to win their parent’s affection. There were also royals in the Pantheon who would fight and kill their siblings simply to get rid of competition, and while Zen and Shirayuki would condemn their acts, they are aware not to involve themselves in their troubles, as much as they would prefer to halt their actions.
- The two are part of a rather colorful entourage that Zen established himself and all of them are very close and dedicated to each other. To their delight, there were several groups like them and with royal and/or medieval backgrounds to them, such as the Mane Six who greatly like Zen and Shirayuki for their relationship with each other and their group and for showcasing many of the traits that are represented by their Cutie Marks, though the idea of talking ponies with special powers tied to friendship was a little silly for some like Zen, Kiki, and Obi to comprehend for a little while, but they've since come to appreciate the sextet. There was also a peculiar team with a colorful cast consisting of a bright-haired swordsman and a red-headed mage named Matt and Natalie and though both are a bit wacky, their weirdness and their attempts at being heroes were enough to win Zen’s respect while Shirayuki found herself being well-acquainted with Anna for her gentle nature and feeling more at home with nature, plus Anna herself was intrigued with Shirayuki’s interest in herbs and plants and has some interest in learning a bit from her, even if Shirayuki is more of an apprentice if a certified one.
- Given his royal status, Zen is very diligent and serious about his role as a prince, but should either of his close friends or Shirayuki be burdened or threatened, then he is not afraid to go against rules to ensure their safety and well-being. While Izana is the more apparent figure for diplomacy, the fact that his younger brother has to take this task up more because of his status as a Pantheon representative meant that Izana had less weight in his responsibility to mixed feelings on his part. For Zen, this meant commuting to the Houses of Leadership and Royalty partly to learn about the divine realms as well as to meet and establish relations with many of the Pantheon’s ascended royals. Results were more complicated than he'd like to think; he's glad about not being on diplomatic terms with someone like Joffrey Baratheon due to his bratty and snobbish attitude initially before Zen learned about the true depths of his malice, whereupon he made it clear that Joffrey would never be allowed even a mile away from Clarines. He also respected Griffith at first before Guts told him about what sort of person he was, even affirming Zen that this isn't the first time Griffith has convinced others to see him as a hero and messiah, whereupon Zen is cautious about dealing with him in case they ever meet. At the very least, he's made some great friends and allies like Marth, Peach, Daisy, and Aragorn, who are eager to allow Clarines to establish working relations with Archanea, the Mushroom Kingdom, Sarasaland, and Gondor respectively as a sign of goodwill.
- Shirayuki having a strong interest in flora as well as her occupation as a herbalist naturally made her intrigued and curious about the House of Plants, and from the visits she has taken, Shirayuki was surprised by the sheer number of flora she encountered and was unfamiliar with, though more accurate reactions ranged from amazement for some plants to shock and horror for a few others. She does wonder about taking samples of some of those exotic plants back to Clarines for her, Ryuu, and Garak to further study and probably devise some new herbs, mainly for beneficial use. While Shirayuki is generally welcomed by the House and most of its residents, she finds a close friend in a fellow visitor, Isabela Madrigal, for the latter's family gift of being able to magically create and cultivate plants, a skill that caught Shirayuki’s admiration. That said, Isabela feels that she wishes to use her powers beyond just helping others as being pigeonholed into this by her grandmother made her unhappy, though things are changing and she's been more open and happier. Shirayuki herself feels that Isabela is entitled to use her power in whatever way she sees fit, but still thinks using it for good purposes is admirable while Isabela herself is impressed by Shirayuki’s knowledge of plants and herbs and for her moral desire for good.
- While red is a rather uncommon hair color in the Pantheon, that's still an improvement compared to where Shirayuki comes from as red hair there is valued to the point of opportunists wanting to enslave and hold her hostage solely for that. While the Pantheon made Shirayuki’s apple red hair color a little less unique, she doesn't mind it all that much. That said, she was happy with the idea of meeting fellow redheads as well as finding intrigue that red hair is considered sacred in a few tales associated with some deities and myths. With fellow redheads, Shirayuki gets along well with Meridia for her headstrong nature and her desire to look after her family, not letting her royal background impede her desires as well as Yona for being very similar to Shirayuki in more than just having red hair, namely that they were strong-willed women who sought to do the right thing and based their affections around on someone simply being a humble and courteous individual regardless of background. Though all of them have faced hardships, Shirayuki feels that this is a major factor in her friendship with Meridia and Yona and hence why she enjoys their company as well as being trusting of them.
- While Shirayuki doesn't regret her decision to flee Tanbarun and settle down in Clarines, she still has some fondness for her old town and maintains a good reputation there. Being a runaway did feel rather conflicting and weary at first, so Shirayuki could understand someone trying to be one due to troubling circumstances, though some cases might be for more intense, personal, or tragic reasons that she would be taken back by. She became friends with Princess Bean, despite her oddities and differing personalities as the two have determined mindsets and Bean, being someone who ran away from her kingdom to prove her worth and have some personal adventures, saw Shirayuki as rather feisty and outgoing for a supposed girly girl to her approval. Another strange friendship came with Kazuma Kiryu who understood the feeling of having to be on the run several times due to his affiliation with the Yakuza as well as growing up without proper parents for the most part throughout their youths. Even then, this wasn't the first time Kiryu had an odd friendship with someone and enjoyed Shirayuki’s company as well as hoping to see her work as a herbalist, although a misunderstanding from Zen caused him and Kiryu to fight against each other to Shirayuki's amusement. Even so, Kiryu and Zen would find mutual respect as well and the former congratulating the latter for being a good fighter, and leader, and for being a dedicated man to the woman he chose to marry in the future. That said, Kiryu does find Zen’s entourage to be rather zany for him to handle, but given this is quite usual for him to deal with a lot of the time, he’s admitted to seeing weirder things and he somewhat enjoys their company.
"I don’t think it’s all that bad to be surrounded by people who don’t care much about authority or social status. It’s good to know that there are various ways of thinking."
@ Crimson:
Correction, it's Merida not Meridia. She's a whole different can of worms.
Be awed. Or be awestruck. This is the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary.

I would like to take Armor-Piercing Attack back from my care, thank you.
I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!
