Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Welcome to the Discussion Thread, where we tally up the [tup]s and [tdown]s for all our favorite characters. I'm Nightelf 37, and this page I'm covering these. The Embryon Tribe will come up as soon as I have access to a PC. I'm doing this on my phone right now since I have to watch the dogs today.

  • When it comes to video games, a few of them are made specifically to demonstrate the software and hardware that runs them. The role of the video game Knack is to demonstrate the ability of the Play Station 4 to handle a large number of discrete objects on screen. Knack does this by its main character also named Knack, who is comprised of several independently rendered objects reaching up to the hundreds depending on his current size. This makes him quite literally a tech demonstration of the PS4's capabilities. But we're getting ahead of ourselves; let's go over who exactly our protagonist is.
  • Knack is the creation of Doctor Vargas, made from Relics native to their world, dug up from underground, and serve as power sources for civilization, being perpetual sources of energy. Vargas had spent decades learning the secrets of the Relics, he and his wife Charlotte found the core that is basically Knack's soul before she was seemingly lost in an earthquake, and how to bring them to consciousness: Knack is the end result of this, and has proven to be completely sentient. A few Relics make him a small being of 2' 6", but with several more his size can change, from human size all the way to 32 feet tall.
  • Knack had been last seen going off on a journey with Lucas on his custom plane to discover more about what Knack is and if there are any other beings like him. This somehow led them straight to the Pantheon, where they were eventually intercepted and escorted to the Court of the Gods. After a demonstration of his talents, and establishing connections back to their home world, Knack was ascended as a Pantheon deity.
  • While Relics are necessary to his very being, Knack can actually integrate other materials as well such as wood, ice, scrap metal, and gemstones, but never to replace them entirely, and never more than one extra material type at a time (though it might be a matter of concentration). He can also absorb power from sunstones, then unleash it as a shockwave, unleash his parts as a tornado, or blast a bunch of Relics as a sphere of destruction before calling them back to him (only when he's not his default small size). And he can release his hold of these relics at will and call them back the same way (no matter how far they are, though distance is a factor) to alter his size for any situation.
  • Don't mistake his being a collection of floating Relics for being frail or light, though. He's not only strong (enough to take on robots when he's at his maximum size that are still bigger than him), but deceptively fast too, no matter his current size, and can even jump up to three times in a row in the air. And he can somehow actually hold himself together enough to deliver strong punches, pull levers and stuff, endure tough blows, climb and carry, zipline, accidentally chip an overpass he was too tall for at the time, lift stuff, basically anything a fully solid humanoid of his size(s) can do. At least for clear crystals, he can even transfer his consciousness from his Relics to those crystals, but it gives him a sleepwalking feeling, and it's inadvisable for him to stay away from his core for too long.
  • He's also not just a brutal buffoon that simply swings wildly. Knack has a few moves under his belt such as a shield move (that can deflect shots when he swings it right), a belly flop crush, and momentarily generating swords and spears. He's also actually a quick and creative thinker in combat and out of it too, and is not above throwing things at opponents or hijacking enemy vehicles. He's even helped Lucas build a plane out of busted robot parts over the course of four months.
  • As it turns out though, Knack is not actually the first of his make. The Norcliff Monastery of old made such things too, though only Knack has shown some manner of sapience. And thanks to Ava of the monks there, he's also learned stretching heavy punches, stretching to grab things like a Hook Shot (though doesn't carry himself across places this way), creating boomerangs out of his Relics that can then bind foes in electricity, and sending forth a sphere of Relic energy to break through shields.
  • For all his power however, there is admittedly one glaring weakness Knack has; his central core. Striking there with sufficient power will result in him quite literally falling apart. And in the Pantheon, there are more than enough threats that are smart enough to aim for that spot. As such, Knack has been forced to learn to be more careful with his core, such as moving that core around his body where it can't be easily targeted, or having it reinforced (if covering it completely doesn't interfere with his Relic-luring power).
  • Speaking of, that was the first order of business: the fact that Relics from their world aren't nearly as prevalent in the Pantheon. So for the time being, there are only as many Relics as is needed for Knack to reach his maximum size, though research is being done to replicate these Relics in case any get irreversibly destroyed or made unretrievable. Fortunately, he can incorporate other materials into his being, so it's not like he's short on materials to work with, but they're more likely to "fall off" when taking damage (exc. Wood Knack). Here are the main ones he acquires.
    • The first of them is ice, one of the easier materials to adapt, and it grants him a freezing breath. However, Knack only has a minute out in the sun before those blocks melt, probably also due to the stress his Relic energy deals to them. The second most common material is wood, though not actually as common due to either having to gather from sawmills or storehouses, and he can't acquire from twigs, fallen logs, or stray branches. While burning him will degrade those parts faster than wood would normally do (probably for the same reasons as Ice Knack), those parts can still cause a lot of damage before then.
    • Third is scrap metal, thankfully more common than wood in the Pantheon, though it does make him more susceptible to magnetism. As Metal Knack, he also has the ability to trail metal to carry electric currents, as well as whips of metal for offense and swinging. He also has a "Stealth" form using clear crystals that can bypass laser security systems without triggering them, though he's still technically visible to the naked eye.
    • There are several other forms Knack can assume with other special materials, such as rubies, aquamarines, amethysts, emeralds, and diamonds, but those aren't really easy to find (even if they're a bit easier than in the mortal realm). Not to mention their canonicity is up for debate. Still, Knack may decide to assume these alternate forms, and there are enough Relics brought with him in the Pantheon to allow him to use these forms in his largest.
  • As he is technically a mechanical being, Knack drew attention from the larger mechanical entities of the Pantheon and mecha pilots due to his accomplishments against such beings in his world. Many in the GUAG appreciate his aid no matter what size he is, though care has to be taken regarding his Relics since they're not as abundant in the Pantheon. And many malicious ones in the GUAE and Machine Uprising often forget just how fast he can be despite his potential size, since he's actually a collective of floating blocks, though Knack either doesn't know how to or can't actually move his parts far enough to let certain attacks pass through him completely. However, this does mean he's not as absurdly tough as he looks, just able to "recover" swiftly with enough materials as long as they're not irreversibly broken.
  • Given what he's fought, Knack's first response to any goblin (or orc) is hostile. And there are quite a number of these such as Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, Skarsnik, Redcloak, Dr. Boom, Garrosh Hellscream, Grimgor Ironhide, Gnasty Gnorc, Gul'dan, and Hagatha the Witch. This would eventually lead to a misunderstanding when he saw Thrall clashing with Jaina who was under Mind Control (not that Knack knew this at the time). The Relic collective did what he would usually do and sided against the "non-fleshskin"note , but he soon realized how complex the situation was when Jaina also attacked Knack, and when Thrall sometimes protected Knack from harm. After quickly getting the situation under control and breaking Jaina free from control, Knack realized that the Pantheon's races are more complex than they are back home. And despite their rocky start, the two Azeroth spellcasters decided to count Knack as an ally.
  • Given the threats he's battled, Knack naturally opposes those who would Take Over the World, or would reduce civilization to rubble for a Might Makes Right society, such as [[Pantheon/Politicians Senator Armstrong]], who wanted to turn America into a Social Darwinist paradise where everyone can fight for their beliefs. He also dislikes Evil Luddites, especially if they (use advanced tech to achieve their goal like Xander and his Order of the Monk tried to do), such as Seymour Guado and the Church of Yevon. However, their only representative now is just Yu Yevon itself, who is barely a threat in his current state, though he did go berserk the moment Knack paid a visit by mere virtue of being a technological creation.

Gelatinous Cubes, Deities of Gelatinous Encasement

  • Potential House: The house where you think your deity would fit best. Please limit your list to one or two, as it's difficult to keep profiles updated when they're in multiple houses.
  • [tup]s:
  • Lesser or Intermediate Deities
  • Symbol: Itself with a number of floating bones, armor, and loot inside
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Blob Monster, Gelatinous Encasement, Acid Attack, Color-Coded for Your Convenience (or, non-color coded, rather) Blending In The Background, Stripped to the Bone
  • Domain(s): Ooze, Absorption, Acid
  • High Priest:
  • Followers:
  • Allies:
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies:

  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Notes about your chosen deity
  • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 at minimum to 20-25 at maximum.

  • Gelatinous Cubes are immune to being Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, put to Exhaustion, Frightened, or knocked Prone. They have a "blindsight" of 60 feet (and are blind beyond that). Cubes take up their entire space (usually a 5 x 5 x 5 foot cube). Other entities can enter said space, but if they do, they're that does so is subjected to the cube's Engulf and has disadvantage escaping it. Those inside the cube can be seen, but are completely protected by the Cube from outside attacks (though the Cube itself is another story).
  • Anyone within 5 feet of a cube can try to remove anyone or anything out of it, but it requires significant strength, and will suffer some acid damage during the attempt. Cubes can only hold one living entity of similar size—or up to four living entities of smaller sizes— at a time, and any number of items. That said, they're mostly transparent and thus beneath notice unless the cube has moved or attacked within sight of them, and Gelatinous Cubes tend to stay in place for long periods of time, so anything that runs into them tend to be surprised.
  • Don't let their size fool you: Gelatinous Cubes can be a bit faster than expected if need be, and can travel up to 15 feet within 6 seconds (since 1 D&D!round is roughly that much time). In terms of offense, if it's not moving to engulf its target (who can resist it enough to just be shoved back or aside), a Gelatinous Cube attacks with a Pseudopod, dealing acid damage to whatever it touches. And if one is Engulfed, it's even worse; the victim can't breathe, is restrained, and takes more acid damage as long as they're inside the Cube, and are naturally move with the Cube if it does move. But it's not impossible to escape the Cube once inside, just rather difficult.

[up] There is a broken pothole to Politicians in the Knack profile (you forgot to put in the curly braces).

For the Gelatinous Cubes, the Dragon Quest Slimes, Rimuru Tempest and Suu are also gelatinous beings. Beatric LeBeau is a slime rancher who finds and raises different kinds of slimes, so she might be interested in the Gelatinous Cubes.

Here's a first draft of Dark Schneider and Lucien. I so far put the focus on rewriting the interactions in DS' old profile and explaining their deal. In summary, Dark Schneider is a powerful, arrogant and perverted mage whose soul was sealed in a meek boy named Lucien after he tried to take over the world. In truth, Darsh was first created in order to pilot a mecha that would fight a world-wrecking demon while Lucien being in fact the incarnation of a good Lucifer.

  • Greater God, Borderline Overdeity in his Majin form, Overdeity when piloting Dragon Knight Lucifer (Dark Schneider), Quasideity, Greater God as Lucifer (Lucien)
  • Symbol: A downward stylized sword.
  • Theme Song: BLOODY POWER FAME and Monochrome Trouble / I'm In Trouble
  • Alignment:
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Imprisonment, Destruction, Magic, Lust
  • Followers: Etrigan, Mia
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Vega, Voldemort, Corset, Embryo, YHVH, Lucifer (Supernatural), Lucemon, Satan (Paradise Lost), Wyald
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Guts
  • Opposing Opinion: Lucifer (Shin Megami Tensei)
  • Rivals: Issei Hyoudou, The Helltaker
  • A long time ago, a boy was created through genetic engineering to pilot the Humongous Mecha known as the Dragon Knight Lucifer, for the purpose of saving Earth from a terrible demon. Through nobody knows quite what happened, the project failed to save civilization and the young man, resenting being born for a speficic role, escaped to do whatever he wanted in the new world of medieval fantasy that would form. Over the centuries, he took the name Dark Schneider and formed a great army to take over the world, only to be defeated by a hero. Before he could be killed, the mage transplanted his soul into a infant, only for his personality to be sealed under a seal. The newborn grew as Lucien Renlen under the care of the Grand Priest of the Meta-llicana kingdom and especially the later's daughter Yoko, until the rise of Darsh's former army necessitated him to be released, at first only possible through a maiden's kiss. From there on, a convoluted chain of events happened until the world was wrecked again by both demons and genocidal angels, with D.S. walking the wrecked world in search of the captured Yoko. In truth, Dark Schneider was created using a splinter of the soul of the fallen angel Lucifer, who chose to be born as Lucien to be reunited with it.
    • In his wanderings, Darsh happened to see a strange portal which he imediatly jumped in without thought, only for the properties of this particular dimensional travel causing him to land in the Pantheon as Lucien. Seeing what he thought was easy pickings, the Apostle known as Wyalt tried to jump on him... only for Darshe to reawaken and blast to oblivion that 'ugly fodder character-tier monkey'... and taking most of the environment around him. Quite naturally, this explosive entry brought the attention of the rest of the Pantheon. Seeing how the ridiculously mighty Dark Schnieder resided in such a sweet boy, their current position was quickly given, with D.S. himself bragging that they quickly saw how awesome he was. And grented, that tremendous strength made quite a number of deities wary of that new arrival, even with his unorthodox circumstances. Now he comes to crash every so often while still traveling through his homeworld, sometimes walking around as himself, others as Lucien.
  • Given the name of DS' personal mecha and Lucien's true identity, it went without surprise that they'd meet up with several incarnations of Lucifer within the Pantheon. The one acting as a representative for the Force of Chaos was very intrigued in seeing Dark Schneider's dedication to doing whatever he wanted and their connections, and so attempted to approach him for a tentative alliance. Darsh promptly told him to take a hike, as he didn't refuse to become a demon's "whipping bitch" just to help another one screw up the world. And when Lucifer tried to appeal to the fellow Fallen Angel residing inside Lucien, the later answered that while he can agree with the belief in humanity's potential and importance of freedom, he didn't believe that would come in forcing it to live in a world where only strength matter. Accepting that difference in opinion, the approaching Lucifer departed.
    • (Interactions with other versions of Lucifer)
  • Given that their own world is under the brink of destruction from both demons and angels that have decided humans were too evil to continue existing, they don't have much love for destructive members of either races. So quite naturally, hearing of a divinity leading a legion of angels dedicated to authoritarian law and that came to the same conclusion in a number of timelines caused him to add YHVH to his shitlist imediatly. A sentiment which has proven reciprocal, for the embodiment of order sees the anarchist wizard's sheer power as a great threat to the cause of Law and yet another incarnation of his traitor son. For his part, Lucifer is disapointed to see a version of his 'brother' who is just as uncompromising and tyranical as the other angels from his world believe him to be.
    • (Other interactions with angels)
  • Hearing of another person with a powerful entity sealed inside them brought the attention of Naruto, who approached Lucien to learn more about them. Upon spending some time with Dark Schneider, he was pleased to see that despite being an annoying, hyperactive and egoistical perv, he wasn't such a bad guy after all, kinda like Kurama! Darsh is unsure whether he's more angry about being called a good guy or the backhandedness of it, but meeting with said Tailed Beasts, he could sympathize with their desire to not be imprisoned. Lucien meanwhile like Naruto's company, though he denied being taught to interact with DS directly since, as far as they're concerned, they're the same person.
  • (Stuff about the metal music theme naming)
  • Dark Schneider:
    • Before his 'death', Dark Schneider stood as a wicked sorcerer that almost succesfully took over the world, and so evil wizards like Voldemort thought they could convince him to join forces... Only to be much disapointed that while he still says he's going to take over the world someday, he's become much more of a simple troublemaker, going around the pantheon while picking fights at random, hitting on women and being generaly more of a nuisance than the true villain he once was. It seems that a more positive upbringing along with forming actual friendships since his rebirth has caused him to become 'softer', as much as he denies it when it's pointed out. So when Voldemort tried to convince him to join his efffort in dominating the Pantheon with superior magic users, he promptly got told to go slither under a toilet, which is an insult he did not take to well.
    • He is extremely egoistical about both his strength and his good looks, often saying that there's no way an ugly side character could take on the most handsome and powerful protagonist around. Naturally, this bragging about being the 'sexiest' man in the Pantheon got him the ire of Vega, but the Shadaloo higher up is all too aware of how frankly outmatched he is against the wizard. Still, if he ever get a chance to slaughter Darsh, you can bet on him taking it.
    • He's a huge pervert that's always looking to hit on any beautiful woman he sees, and one of his biggest ambitions is to have an harem of all the beautiful women in the world. Naturally, he sees others with such gathering or ambitions to make one as his greatest rivals (Interactions related to being a perv and an Harem Seeker)
      • Amongst those, there is one person that might be able to take on Dark Schneider without danger: Embryo, a much more nefarious individual whose abilities allow him to control magic users. And indeed, one day where Darsh interfered with his attempts to gauge for women 'worthy of being his bride', the Tuner decided to use his power on him, only to find that while he could immobilized D.S. in place, his willpower and sheer power allowed him some resistance, preventing him from being ordered to do much more. Any interest the Tuner may have in that died quickly when DS called him 'a virgin sack of shit that has to rely on lying and mind control to get laid', promptly causing in the mage being blasted away. While he recuperated easy enough, Darsh still want to find a way to bypass that damn ability and make 'that guy with the stupid haircut' pay.
    • Given that they are both warriors wandering worlds wrecked by terrible demons motivated by love for a particular women, you might except him and Guts to get around... if it weren't for the fact that the Black Swordsman is very annoyed by Darsh's obnoxious attitude. Sure, they'll work together to fight demons and all, but it takes all of Guts' willpower to not punch him out of annoyance after.
    • One of the few angels he truly get along with is Panty Anarchy, as she found when meeting her that she was practically the exact opposite of the sanctimonious and self-righteous ones in his world, being just as freedom-loving and horny as he was. In fact, the blonde angel actually found him pretty damn hot, and to absolutely nobody's surprise, they quickly became Friends with Benefits.
    • Alucard of the Hellsing Organization has taken quite a liking to Darshe, for the vampire sees much of himself in the other former evil monarch who found himself in the dedicated service of a woman and he thinks the mage would be a very fun opponent sometimes. For his part, while D.S. denies he ever 'served' anybody, he doesn't mind Alucard that much, and would gladly take him on if only to prove who's the superior man around! Not that it happened because Integra forbad Alucard from going into a fight with such a powerful opponent for fun alone.
  • (Stuff about him being created to be a mecha pilot)
  • Lucien only:

@RJ: [tup] for Knack. As for what hall the Gelatinous Cube could go in, is there a hall about traps?

Made a start on Lenna. Alecoene approved her on the last page, if anyone missed it.

Lenna, Archangel of Procedural Generation (Mother of Archangels, Hero of Another Story)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lenna.png
As the Mother of Archangels

  • Hall of Game Mechanics
  • Demigoddess in her human form, Intermediate Goddess in her archangel form
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, formerly Chaotic Evil
  • Symbol: The four powers (rainbow-tinted, tilted squares) arranged in a plus-shape
  • Theme song: Your Inception
  • Portfolio: Badass Teacher who gives a Justified Tutorial, The Unchosen One, Devilish Hair Horns, Hello, [Insert Name Here] (but her Canon Name is in the title), has a Romance Sidequest, the Final Boss of her world turned human, Tomato in the Mirror, Amnesiac Dissonance, implied to be an Evil Orphan, horrified when she learns the truth of her origins, genuinely cared about her archangel children in her previous life and planned to buy Christmas presents for them, can use these to spare the archangels and get the Golden Ending, Multiple Endings, Pungeon Master in New Groan Plus, appears as a Superboss in Cassette Beasts by the same developer
  • Domains: Heroism, transformation, glitches, metafiction, teaching
  • Herald: Paige (her girlfriend)
  • Allies: Cassette Beasts party members, Link, Frisk, Mewtwo
  • Ememies: MissingNo.
  • Lenna started out as an unassuming schoolteacher in a fantasy kingdom full of Schizo Tech, until she stepped outside and her school turned into a glitchy mess with her eight pupils trapped inside. She instructs Lance, the chosen hero, on how to slay the eight archangels and save the world... but then he's suddenly killed by a glitchy mess called 8Fridge, forcing her to take up his mantle as the Hero of Fortitude, save the kingdom from both glitches and the bankers' guild, and collect the four powers.

After defeating all eight archangels, Lenna gains the Power of Truth and regains memories she didn't know she'd lost: she was originally the human-hating Mother of Archangels, who enjoyed hurting people, taught the chairman of the bankers' guild that money comes from monsters, and created the other eight archangels to be her minions. Delvin (a seemingly-ordinary human who'd been "helping" her throughout her adventure) accidentally created 8Fridge, used it to become a Reality Warper, and turned her into a human. She's horrified by the fact that she unwittingly killed her own children... unless she spared them all using the prince's Power of Compassion.
  • A sentient, dimension-travelling bar called the Amber Lodge appeared in front of Lenna. Its avatar, Miss Amber, said Lenna had a special appointment, but couldn't say what it was. It brought her to the Court of the Gods, who told Lenna that she'd been chosen to represent Procedural Generation in the Trope Pantheons. In her game, each playthrough's map is determined by the seed you input when starting a new file, which also becomes the name of the kingdom. As Lenna's world exists within a sentient video game where concepts such as glitches and debug menus are diegetic, this made sense to her.
  • Lenna had met the Amber Lodge before: it had taken her to New Wirral for a mysterious errand. There, she had a friendly (though extremely difficult) battle with the Cassette Beasts party members — that's right, this nearly-ordinary human held her own against Mons. She was glad to meet them again in the Pantheon, and since there's no need for secrecy here, she could answer all their questions about her past.
  • Lenna holds the philosophy that you shouldn't let your origins determine your path in life. As a result, she gets along with Mewtwo, who was created to be a weapon and lashed out against his creators. This struck a chord with Lenna, because (it's strongly implied that) her parents were slaughtered by Lance's father around the time she hatched, and that's where her original hatred of humanity came from. Mewtwo redeemed himself when he realised the circumstances of his birth were irrelevant; it was what he did with the gift of life that determined who he was.
  • Lenna also found she had a lot in common with a couple of other video game protagonists. Link reminds her of Lance, another tunic-wearing, sword-wielding Heroic Mime, and many of his adventures played out similarly to hers. She's grateful that every Link has been able to succeed in his quest... All There in the Manual timeline spits notwithstanding. Frisk is another protagonist of a meta Retraux game who had the choice of either killing or sparing the various monsters they faced. Just like Lenna, if they spared all the monsters, they got the best ending where monsters and humans learned to coexist. However, Frisk was confused to learn that Lenna received no ramifications for killing Mooks.
  • The first enemy she made in the Pantheon was MissingNo. She has plenty of experience with fighting glitches, and its effects are eerily similar to the corruption that overtook her world. Worse still, various other Pokémon deities have told her that MissingNo. is harmless, and there are even worse glitch Pokémon out there, the thought of which horrifies Lenna.

@ Dark Schneider Here are some ideas for interactions with other Lucifers:

  • Great friends with Lucifer of the Seven Mortal Sins. Lady Lucifer is only recently fallen, and has committed none of the other bad stuff the others have. Additionally, just like this Lucifer she greatly cares for humans, especially one Maria, and is willing to fight got in order to stave off the apocalypse. Dark Schneider is also interested in the Mortal Sins for..other reasons
  • On speaking terms with the Samael of the DC multiverse. However, Lucien Lucifer is wary of his sociopathic tendencies, and they have different senses of artistic taste. Let's just say that a heavy metal band isn't the best fit for a high-society ball.
  • Thinks that the Devil who lost Paradise and the Devil who fights the Belmonts are despicable and pathetic. They let their pride get to their heads so much that they refuse to believe that humans could be greater than them, while all but ensuring that they are defeated by humans. Also doesn't help that this Lucifer seems to be on good terms with God.
  • pities Satan Hussein for having such a terrible husband, and hopes he can find to stand to stand up for himself
  • Doesn't know what to make of Dis. He doesn't know if he's really and offshoot of the beast at the bottom of Hell, but will oppose it regardless to defend humanity. According to Dr.Banks, this Lucifer might be what remains of the original Lucifer's benevolence.
  • But he hates the Lucifer of Supernatural the most because while they are both Lucifers who possess humans to appear in the mortal plane, the Lucifer of Supernatural has an intense hatred of humanity for pretty stupid reasons. Lucien Lucifer has vowed to oppose this Lucifer at every turn, and they may in fact be moral counterparts to each other.

  • "I'm the best thief in the business, not the most famous. Need to watch my step to keep it that way." Despite taking such precautions to maintain a low profile, Kasumi Goto is known far and wide not because she is in the words of Commander Shephered, "the best damn thief in the galaxy," but because of her dealings with the aforementioned commander of the Normandy. Which explained why Shepherd was able to smooth Kasumi's ascension into the Pantheon after Kasumi snuck in, planning on raiding the House of Treasures and stealing everything that isn't bolted down. Fortunately, Shepherd - or Shep, as Kasumi calls them - was able to convince her that trying to raid the Pantheon wouldn't end well for her. As much as Kasumi want to loot the Treasury, not even Shepherd could protect her if the full weight of the Pantheon came down on her. But, Kasumi is happy to be reunited with Shep and his crew. Yet, she is bummed that Jacob Taylor hasn't ascended to the Pantheon. Shepherd knows of Kasumi's crush on Jacob, but whether or not his subordinate is into Kasumi, is unclear. Or as Kasumi had put it, "Japanese girls with a penchant for kleptomania."
  • Kasumi is known as "the best thief in the galaxy," a title that the deified members of the Normandy can attest to. Kasumi sees that stealing and indulging in her vices are in her own words, 'fun.' Joker Moreau was heard stating while he has no problem with Kasumi due to her being on good terms with his boss, but he feels the need to check for parts Kasumi may have sold at the Citadel. But, when asked whether or not she would consider stealing from Smaug, Kasumi flatly refused. She may be the best thief in the galaxy, but even she knows her limits. That, and while Cerberus was able to revive Shepherd, neither the Illusive Man or the Normandy's medical bay can fix third and fourth-degree burns. She did break into Tony Stark's temple and swiped the latest iteration of his Ironman armor. Tony was annoyed at the theft, but he was impressed, and offered her a job with the Avengers. Kasumi refused, stating that she was aligned with Commander Shepherd. She did, however, returned Stark's Ironman suit, but only when Shepherd asked her to. She even broke into the Fortress of Solitude, but not to steal the Kryptonian tech inside, but rather to test its security and defense systems at Superman's request. Not to say that she was tempted to snag some tech in exchange for some quick cash.
    • As she is a thief, it's more than obvious that Kasumi finds herself in the crosshairs of law enforcement. Judge Dredd would want nothing more than to see Kasumi rotting away in an iso-cube or locked away at the Aspen Penal Colony. John Luther is more lenient, as Kasumi's crimes don't leave any dead bodies, but she's still a criminal regardless. Amanda Waller sees Kasumi as a potential recruit (alongside Jack) to the Suicide Squad. The only thing that's stopping the law enforcement deities from trying to apprehend Kasumi is her ties to Commander Shepherd. Of course, Shepherd fields complaints and criticism for employing a thief (and a violent criminal in the form of Jack). Shepherd shrugs them off, as Kasumi (and Jack) are valuable assets to the Normandy. That, and saving the galaxy is a bonus. The deified members of the Justice League and the Avengers don't do anything, as they trust Commander Shepherd in keeping Kasumi in line.
  • Her temple is a recreation of an apartment formerly owned by Admiral David Anderson, in which Shepherd took ownership, and later hosted a party for the crew of the Normandy. Her taste for decorations can be left for debate, as some of her decorations are in actuality, trophies from past heists. One such trophy was an ancient relic she had swiped from René Belloq. In a dose of irony, Belloq had just stolen the relic from Indiana Jones, as Belloq have a rather bad habit of stealing from Indy, only for Kasumi to swoop in and steal the relic from Belloq, giving him a taste of what he had done to Indy in the past. Belloq was furious at being robbed. Indy looked amused, admiring Kasumi's moxie. As Kasumi is a thief, she is on good terms with the other deified thieves in the Pantheon. While some criticize Kasumi for her friendship with Commander Shepherd, Kasumi defends her friendship with the boy scout. After all, Shepherd turns a blind eye to Kasumi's capers, as she technically doesn't hurt anyone, merely robs people blind. One such thief that Kasumi respects is the deified Cajun, Remy LaBeau. Or rather, Kasumi finds him to be, in her words, 'interesting.' Both are master thieves, and considered to be the best in their field, and there is a degree of mutual respect for the other. Of course, this would eventually lead to the two to try and outdo the other. At least Rogue can take comfortin the fact that Kasumi doesn't chase after married men. After all, Kasumi still has the hots for Jacob.
  • Boba Fett has a contract from the Galactic Empire to capture Kasumi. Yes, Kasumi found herself on the Empire's shit-list. For Kasumi, she sees it as a badge of honor to be listed among the likes of Kyle Katarn (the Imperial stormtrooper-turned-Jedi) and Jyn Erso (who led the suicide mission to steal the Death Star plans on Scarif). How did Kasumi accomplish such a feat? By sneaking to Emperor Palpatine's temple and swiping a couple of Sith holocrons. Then, Kasumi followed up by robbing both Director Krennic and Grand Moff Tarkin's temples. In between this, Kasumi watched the Scarif Mission and pointed out to Jyn and Cassian Andor what they could have done better and how to avoid getting killed. As it turns out, the deified Rebels and Jedi have a training simulation based on Rogue One's first - and last - mission, so Cassian demands that Kasumi proves her claims. Not only was Kasumi able to perform the theft flawlessly, but she was able to escape from Sharif undetected. This earned her the goodwill of the Rebels and the respect of Rogue One, albeit grudgungly on Cassian's end.

I am working on the Skarloey Railway Engines for Adaptational Dye Jobs and I am wondering which hall they would go into. I am guessing one of the colours halls. However I would like other people thoughts on which hall they would belong in. I would like to write interactions with other deities that will be in the same hall.

[up] For a Colours Hall, would Color Combinations or Common Colors work? We don't have a "color changes" Hall yet. As for an adaptation related hall, they can fit in Character Adaptations as Adaptation Dye-Job is about changing a character's color in adaptations.

@Alecoene — Given how Darsh was created to pilot a mecha, maybe an interaction with Team Dai-Gurren given how the latter are powered by spiral energy, which was something the Anti-Spiral tried to prevent from spreading further out of fear of attracting a worse entity and destroying the universe, though its methods of doing such meant taking on a very tyrannical approach. Lucien's outlook on humans would be a jarring contrast to how Zamasu would view humans, furthered by the fact that he's the primary Luciferian Analogue in the Dragon Ball series.

Here are early drafts for the Lycoris Duo and the Wet Bandits (kind of fitting for the latter as Christmas Season is looming close. Recommended suggestions are listed just below their last paragraphs. As usual, any other thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • Harry Lime and Marv Merchants are a duo of rascally criminals from Chicago, Illinois, who call themselves the “Wet Bandits”. Both men complement each other with one being the planner and the other being more quick and agile, and both of them being strong enough to impose on others, which helps in their occupation as bandits. On one particular December, the bandits were eager to pick out a house to rub during Christmas, eventually settling for a large house partly because it was then only occupied by a little boy and because they wanted to prove themselves ambitious. However, said kid, Kevin McCallister proved himself to be far crafter and more prepared than anyone his age would be, constantly overwhelming, bruising, and humiliating Harry and Marv with the numerous tricks he laid out in the household. They would almost catch Kevin, only to be knocked out by Kevin’s neighbor, Old Man Marley, and later arrested. They would eventually return to target Kevin again in New York City, now seeing him as their arch-nemesis, only to be met with the same circumstances and results, once again upstaged, mocked, and beaten by Kevin before being arrested for the second time.
  • Though they were defeated by a kid, the Wet Bandits were able to achieve some degree of notoriety in the sense that even with all the abuse and humiliation they went through, they were eventually able to catch up with the kid and almost win, had it not been for the intervention of a third party. It was enough for them to get noticed by the Pantheon and although they had to spend some time in jail, they became eligible to become representatives upon release. Amusingly, neither of the two was interested in becoming "gods", that is until they realized Kevin was considered one in the divine realms for the tale and events that they shared. This riled Harry and Marv considerably to the point where they immediately changed their minds to wanting to become Pantheon representatives just so they could find a way to get an equal standing to their arch-enemy. And thus, their wish was granted... only for the Wet Bandits to realize there was much more than they bargained for. And then they whined and complained to one another, screaming that they wanted to match up with a little boy who was messing with them, not to get entangled with literal dragons, monsters, superheroes, and other literal fantasy stuff, not to mention even more powerful cops and unscrupulous vigilantes who could be willing to kill them for harassing a kid. Though eventually, Harry and Marv would get accustomed to the Pantheon and plan to get back at Kevin at some point... but not before getting themselves into other minor forms of robberies and theft first to pass the time, though Harry would claim them to be "practice tests".
  • Harry and Marv are two of the Pantheon's most infamous burglars. Even before meeting Kevin, they had a reputation for being pretty successful in their work and usually, they do accomplish their tasks, making them a pretty credible threat in the eyes of many. Unfortunately for them, Kevin has been such a black spot that their reputation has been tarnished by their loss to the boy becoming the main defining factor and this is the main reason why Harry and Marv's enmity against Kevin is personal. Individually, both are quite comical and bumbling loons who react to things in an exaggerated tone, though the two are quite different in their core personalities. Marv is more lucid and tends to be the planner of their operations, but has an explosive temper and flies into a babbling rage anytime things don't go his way. Marv is not just dumber, but his head and thoughts end up being in other places, much to Harry's annoyance and he's hyperactive to the point of screaming like a girl anytime he's beaten, scared, or humiliated. Despite their vices, they're both incredibly determined and are not willing to give up easily. If they can rob a place, be it a home, charity, or shop, Harry and Marv will make a move, and as demonstrated by their relationship with Kevin, they remember things all too well to the point where they will take notes on what to do for their next encounter, regardless of whether they misjudge or miscalculate their expectations. Simply put, Harry and Marv are rather scary and effective burglars despite their lack of success in robbing Kevin and they're pretty eager to demonstrate their infamy.

@nightelf: Robotboy is a friendly robot who also has three distinctly sized forms and wants to be more like humans.

@Indigo: Game is a sentient video game program who is also supposed to be a Lo Z-like game. When Game's creator separated GiGi (Global Gameplay) from him, it led to the creation of a rogue entity in Game's code known as Mr. Glitch who was of course, a living glitch that attempted to take over the real world by controlling all smart technology. The EBF Team has fought glitches in two games.

@snafu: The New Alliance of Free Stars is another alliance of well-intentioned aliens and humanity. The Thraddash are a Proud Warrior Race that hates thieves.

@Crimson:

For Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue, The Evil Geniuses are leaders of secret evil organizations that are well-equipped to eliminate agents, with all sorts of minions and henchmen at their behest.

For the Wet Bandits, Bebop and Rocksteady are two mutant thugs who are much stronger overall but just as moronic. The KND are an organization of children they wouldn't want to mess with. Edgar and Ellen are a set of prankster twins. Woody also pulls off similarly painful pranks to his cranky neighbour Mr. Rottweiler (who suffers Amusing Injuries regularly from the pranks) and would be willing to do the same to them he found them in the middle of a robbery. Swiper the Fox is similarly an unsuccessful thief but given his standards regarding Christmas even he'd dislike them. Don't forget The Grinch who tried to steal Christmas itself.
