Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

TV Tropes' dedicated hee-ssential worker.
Do I have permission to arrange the titles in Image Comics in alphabetical order, like with other Pantheon pages for most companies and works?
Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.@PuzzarianIdeal - I wanted to give you a thumb so badly but I was busy finishing Batter and the profile suggestions. Oh well.
@NitroIndigo -
@CrimsonShark
- Hina Sato - Kinda wished the doctors could cure her but she had developed a dual personality similar to Casca with her pre and post-trauma selves. To make it more tragic, Hina has no control which selves would manifest for that day. Personally, I dislike Yota having to react for her and I wanted to know what Hina thinks if she does become a legit god. Also, I'm also skeptical if her post-surgery state self might limit her interaction potential. That's just me tho, I'm also fine if her just keeps her post-surgery state all the way in this profile. On a side note: post-trauma Casca and post-surgery Hina are likely to be kindred spirits.
- Here are a string of suggestions for Hina: Sees the future - Oriko Mikuni is also someone who can see into the future and realized that the world is ending. Unlike Hina, her powers were given but Kyubey when she became a magical girl. She's not a good person tho. Brain-Implants - Batty Koda has a large antenna screwed into his brain. Gaining Powers in a Mundane Way - Lucy Miller accidentally gained omniscience due to the drugs she was carrying in her stomach breaking out inside her. Medical Conditions - Bedman and his sister were put into sleep because he and sister had a condition where their extreme intelligence physically hurts them. Nunnally is wheel chair-bound following a traumatic injury and she was also blind for a while too. Matchmaker Crushes - Star Butterfly is friends with Marco Diaz, and tries to hook him up with his popular girl crush Jackie-Lynn Thomas. Star later realizes she's fallen for Marco instead. Grandparents - Arnold Shortman is raised by his grandparents after his own parents when missing for a while. Gaming - Can't recall any gamers yet but the Hall of Gaming exist. What type of games does she play btw?
- Kratos - I know Prometheus doesn't have any personal beef with him since Kratos fulfil his request on mercy killing him.
@SailorVenus372 - Sash Lilac, Carol Tea and Milla Basset
- Carmelita Fox is enemies with all of them. They all don't like Galactic Conquerors like Darkseid, Thanos, Vilgax, Emperor Zurg etc.
- Sash Lilac - She is friendly with most of The Hall of Dragons. She is closest to Spyro and Spike are friendly dragons, and Twilight Sparkle is Spike's best friend and number one assistant, therefore, she would also be on friendly terms with Lilac. Plastic Man is a former thief while Sly Cooper and Mr. Fox is a (current) thief. Shantae uses hair attacks. Neptune of the CPU is friends with Lilac.
- Carol Tea - She is friendly with most of The Hall of Felines. She could befriend The Judge and Puss in Boots. Perhaps they could teach her some fighting moves. She also tried to find other motorcycle deities. She probably won't like P.T. Boomer or Beelzemon She would likely like Kino, Wario, Lio Fotia, Tatsuya Suou of The Sumaru City Persona-Users a bit better. Her Wall Jump abilities are inspired by X of the Mega Man X. Ruby Rose is an ally of hers.
- Milla Basset - She is friendly with most of The Hall of Canines. Since she is into alchemy, she is likely friends with the Elric Brothers as well as other deities from that universe like Ling Yao and Greed. As she likes chemistry, she likes hanging out with Honey Lemon of Big Hero 6. She's friends with the meek-turned-confident pony Fluttershy. She's also friends with Himawari Shinomiya, Xion, Colette Brunel.
I'm torn between calling this done because I've added so much stuff to this and adding more stuff because I feel like he needs more allies. I've added more bits just so the other Tropers know why The Batter is considered either a villain protagonist or an anti-hero within the player base. Also, if you know it's not looking done, I need some suggestions for the following.
- Anyone who also tried to destroy the world because it's much of a Crapsack World to save it?
- Anyone who sympathized or would likely very much oppose the Batter's actions?
- I'm asking Tropers who are more familiar with these characters: If they know what kind of person the Batter is, would Luigi or The Ghostbusters still be allies with him?
- Those with an existing interaction with the Batter. Alternatively, anyone who would be fine with the Batter despite his past.
- Is the profile good enough to go up and be live?
- Any other suggestions or feedback is welcome.

Welcome, Batter. You have been assigned to a role called "God".
You have an important mission.
Be sure that it's accomplished.
We will let you out in the Trope Pantheon.

- A strange pale-looking man wearing a baseball uniform suddenly appeared in the Pantheon one day, popping out of the fireplace in the House of Ambiguity. When questioned how he got there, he responded thusly:
"I am the Batter, and I jumped down the chimney."
- When someone told her that a mysterious man was looking for her, the divine spirit Junko immediately rushed to the aforementioned House. She recognized the pale man as the High Priest she requested to ascend into godhood and decided to help him give him the ropes about the Pantheon. The Batter stayed in her temple for a while since he has yet to be given a proper trope title for himself. She could vividly recall the man's story when she was looking for potential deity candidates from other worlds:
- A mysterious force behind the screen, known as The Player, was assigned to a being called The Batter. They were told that he had a special mission to fulfill. The Batter is aware that another being was controlling him and he needed their help to move and navigate the world around him. After initially being placed in Zone 0 and trained to battle by the enigmatic cat named The Judge, The Batter and The Player were ready to explore the various zones. The Player learns that their mission was to purify the world, and to do so, they must eliminate the Queen of the Specters. They embarked on this sacred mission; traveling from zone to zone, purifying the evil specters and later the zone's corrupted residents called Burnts. When The Batter was made aware of The Guardians, the cruel overseers of these zones, he decided to purify them too.
- The Player may go back to the zones they have purified, only to discover a desolate white wasteland saved for monsters worse than any enemies they have encountered so far. The Player eventually learns what purification entails: "purifying" a spectre or a burnt would destroy them and "purifying" a Guardian would cause their zones and its residents "to disappear and fall into nothingness". Despite this knowledge, they continue The Batter's mission and entered an area called "The Room". During the journey in this area, the two see flashbacks of a little sickly boy's memories, how he was neglected by his mother, how he hated being in the care of his father, his meeting with the Guardians and how they used to be more benevolent in the past. When The Batter nearly reached the end of The Room, he met The Queen and told her that he returned to the "cradle of his father". He argued that due to The Queen neglecting her role as a caretaker (presumably of the sickly child), he must now fulfill his "sacred mission". She retorted about how The Batter destroyed the place she built for the presumed child and decided to initiate a fight to prevent The Batter from hurting "the son that bought [herself and the Batter] into the world". Despite her efforts, she was purified and The Batter and The Player proceed to the final rooms.
- The two entered the final room where they performed a mercy kill on the sickly child, presumably the same one whose memories they saw earlier. With The Room fully purified, a lone switch appeared at the end of a long hall. Before The Batter can interact with it, The Judge suddenly appeared, recovering his senses from prior events as he realized what the two of them had done. The Judge argues that what The Player has done was to help The Batter commit familicide and they didn't cleanse the world of its evils but to be "immersed into a pristine nothingness". The Judge offers The Player to join his side to stop The Batter from completing his work. However, they decided to stay with the Batter and purify The Judge. With no more obstacles, The Batter was able to flick the switch. Turning the world OFF as it faded to black.
- Now Junko, who had lost her own son to her enemy Houyi, didn't really care about the pale man's prior history of kinslaying, as she purified herself so much she lost all other emotions other than her own hatred and resentment towards her son's killer. She was more impressed by The Batter's abilities to "purify" enemies into nothingness, viewing it as an extension of her own powers of refining materials and removing impurities. She plans to use his presence as a way to finally get revenge on Houyi and his wife Chang'e. She's pretty open about her revenge plans to The Batter and he agreed to help, mainly as a favor to her for bringing him back into existence.
- The divine spirit was careful to not let him get involved in her other revenge plans, such as her plans to help Gigyas by purifying and giving him some control of his almighty powers. She thinks The Batter would not help her once he finds out about her involvement with the evil all-powerful alien. The Batter eventually learns of Gigyas and his evil past. He doesn't seem fazed when he finds out that Junko is willing to help Gigyas; he's willing to help her by offering to "purify" the suffering alien. Junko, knowing what the Batter is trying to do, had to convince the purifier that she can do this task on her own.
- The Competences of the Batter (or his special attacks) are all appropriately named after baseball terminology. His "Wide Angle" can give information about his enemies during battles; The "Run with..." Competences deal low elemental damage to an enemy; His "Homerun" Competences can deal very high damage to a single enemy at the cost of low accuracy. He can also heal himself and his allies with the "Base" Competences. The Batter is accompanied by three Add-Ons, floating ring-shaped beings that help him in battle with their own set of attacks. Jotaro Kujo once mistook the Batter's Add-Ons for Stands, and the Batter himself as a Stand User. The Batter had no idea what he was talking about and has ignored the Jojo since.
- While Junko comes up with a future revenge plan involving the Batter, she lets him explore the houses to familiarize himself. The Batter adapted pretty well to his surroundings. Junko then got several complaint letters sent to her temple as The Batter was apparently going around trying to purify every spectre or ghost he encounters and thought she was responsible for it. The matter clarified that she had nothing to do with The Batter's actions, but it still resulted in the pale man being banned from going near the Hall of Ghosts.
- The spectres from The Batter's world are creatures who are hostile to anyone who isn't a spectre. The Batter sees them as corrupted beings that needed to be "purified" and make no distinction on any spectre he's trying to eradicate. His first instinct upon learning about the various evil scepters in the Pantheon was to try and attack them on sight when he encounters them. Various ghosts and half-ghosts from Amity Park (Vlad Plasmius, Ember McLain, Desiree and even Dark Danny) have run-ins with the baseball-uniform-wearing man; so much so that they are willing to team up or ask Danny Phantom to help keep The Batter at bay. Ghosts from within the Hall of Ghosts like The Flying Dutchman and out of the hall like Spooky and The Headless Horseman also had unfortunate encounters with The Batter, which annoyed them a lot. Not helping is the fact that the Batter is quite powerful and tougher than he looks, which makes them blindsided when he does attack them.
- Not even friendlier ghosts like Casper or C are safe from his attacks. It's likely because the two resemble the ghosts from his world the most, who usually are in the form of a Bedsheet Ghost or a humanoid ghoul. Surprisingly, he has trouble with battling some of the ghosts with a higher rank than him like his encounter with Erma Williams. But that probably won't stop him from trying to purify her again and any other powerful spectre in the future. Some human allies of these ghosts fear for the safety of their ghostly friends. The Super Peace Busters, for example, would hate him should he ever target their ghostly friend Menma. The Batter finds people who are friends with ghosts to be quite strange and unusual.
- Due to The Batter's experiences with battling evil specters, he's often employed by other deities who are incapable of dealing with ghosts. He's also met other ghost hunters in the Pantheon. He initially gets along pretty well with Luigi, due to their mutually negative feelings against ghosts. He also at first got along well with The Ghostbusters, helping them with destroying ghosts too powerful or weak to be contained with their Proton Packs. He also met with a pair of ghost hunters Jack and Maddie Fenton, although their budding friendship was cut short when their son Danny tried to warn them about the monster their half-ghost son keeps seeing.
- Besides spectres, he's also known to purify the wicked Guardians of each zones. They each mistreat their subjects in different ways, causing him to take action against them. He tried to enter the House of Leadership after learning about numerous bad leaders that had resided within their halls and wanting to "purify" as atonement for their evil actions. However, he had to temporarily retreat as he didn't anticipate the number of powerful deities that could overtake him. Since then, he's been banned from entering that house too.
- To explain the weird baseball getup, it's speculated that his child creator had based The Batter on a comic book character he saw that also wore a baseball uniform that attacks his enemy with his bat-wielding minions. The Batter, upon learning of so many other deities who use baseball bats as weapons, has taken to observing them in the House of Sports. Upon seeing the pale man, some of the bat-wielders, like Junpei and The Scout, decide to invite him to do sparring matches. The Batter easily made several homeruns with his iron bat. It's rumored that the bat-wielders are also interested in starting a baseball league, with The Batter as their leadoff hitter as well.
- The Batter, upon being acquainted with her, also hit it off well with the bat-wielding Dokuro Mitsukai. He views her self-professed desire to curb Sakura's perverted tendencies as a noble goal in itself and approves of her tendency to go into Pervert Revenge Mode in most cases. Depending on the perpetrator, he even assisted her in several of her assaults…up until he witnessed her take the spiky bat to Sakura's head. He very nearly started the process of purification before Sakura was restored. The Batter, in a surprising display of restraint, asked why she had attacked her charge. Upon learning that this was her self-prescribed "treatment" for his pedophiliac tendencies, he was visibly silent for a while. Still, their relationship is largely positive, though.
- He also encountered the assassin known as Bad Girl while he was exploring a basement that happened to be connected to her temple. He found her to be clubbing criminals with her bat yet again. Her odd and playful behavior reminded The Batter of a sugar-loving woman he once fought before. Meanwhile, The Batter's "holier than thou" attitude reminded Bad Girl of the first time she met and fought Travis Touchdown, who called her out for being "a perverted killing maniac". Sensing a déjà vu situation was about to happen and then noticing his weapon, Bad Girl decided to offer a truce with The Batter and show him a good time by clubbing criminals. The Batter isn't 100% keen on killing criminals for fun as she does but tolerates her presence for now so that he has one less enemy to worry about.
- When he sees sugar or any similar sweetener being consumed, the Batter keeps a solid grip on his bat. In the Batter’s world, the primary source of sugar are from the cremated remains of dead workers from Zone 3. Upon learning that the Powerpuff Girls were made of Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice, the Batter marched over to the House of Science to confront Professor Utonium. After The Batter explained himself, the horrified Professor reassured that the Powerpuff Girls were NOT made from any cremated remains at all. After hearing about the ascension of the Guardian responsible for this system and not wanting the tragedy of Zone 3 to repeat itself, The Batter promptly stormed the House of Food and purified anything that could remotely contain sugar. Needless to say, this earned him the ire of many gods, particularly Stocking Anarchy, who were confused about the whole thing (until they learned of what the Batter was freaking out about).
- Someone once joked that The Batter was a Magical Girl; what with the "Hero of Justice" vibe he initially invokes, his unusual weaponry and attire, his few borderline In the Name of the Moon styled introductions…
The Batter: Show yourselves, corrupted children! I'm the voice of forgiveness that will eliminate your calamitous forms.
- After overhearing this, the Batter fell silent for several moments before marching off to the Magical Girl Sisterhood's temple. The Sisterhood was initially confused by this until The Batter expressed his intentions to purify evil spirits with them. So, they decided to let him into their ranks and some had even made him a Puella Magi style outfit for him to wear
◊, though that didn't last very long. Upon learning of what a witch was, the Batter immediately set out to purify one. The Sisterhood later tried to stop him from destroying the Hall of Witches and Wizards when he learned that many evil witches reside in that hall.
- Naturally, he's come to hate Kyubey as much as anybody else, and offered to purify the Incubator immediately for his crimes against the Puella Magi. Thankfully, when he actually met Kyubey, the Batter decided not to go through with it - which struck witnesses as rather strange, given that he had ample time to try and purify the cat-like alien. While the Batter hadn't explained the cause of his rage, or why he had reportedly talked to Kyubey when they crossed paths, it was theorized that Kyubey reminded him of someone he knew. Perhaps it reminded him of The Judge who once helped him with his sacred mission or perhaps The Queen who maintains and manages the zones she helped built —but ultimately led to the suffering of all involved in its workings. Either way, The Batter declined to comment on this comparison.

The Sisterhood was initially confused by this until The Batter expressed his intentions to purify evil spirits with them. So, they decided to let him into their ranks and some had even made him a Puella Magi style outfit for him to wear
- Despite the complaints from other deities, the Court of Gods can't exactly kick The Batter out of the Pantheon as he was already deified with a potentially valid Trope waiting to be assigned for him. After weeks of liberation with an extensive review of his past, the Court decided that the Batter would represent the usage of words meaning impending death. So it was made that he would bear this title as a warning to others about what he does. They also ask him to move out of Junko's temple and into a new temple made just for him, an open room with a single floating red box that when touched leads to a black nearly empty void (sans another floating red box to get out of this place). When asked what he thinks of all this, his response was:
The Batter: It's better this way.
- Overnight when The Batter's past became known to the public, he became one of the most controversial people in the Pantheon. Sure, he did kill "a wife and a child" along with the rest of his world but there are some deities who found his situation oddly sympathetic. It can be argued that unlike other Omnicidal Maniacs, who wanted to destroy the world for the heck of it or because it is within their nature to do so, The Batter doesn't really have much of a choice other than trying to fulfill his sacred mission. The land is plagued by spectres; its residents are neurotic workers who are anxious about everything and can't seem to function on their own, its Guardians are horrible people who neglected their duties or treat their workers horribly, The Queen does a poor job in managing all of the zones and her ward is a very sick child who is clearly suffering a lot. Was there a better way to improve his Crapsack World other than to end their suffering?
- Some deities are not sympathetic to his situation at all. His perceived lack of care, emotions, and empathy towards other people; his lack of trying to put positivity and improve the lives of everyone around him; his whole purpose as a tool made to destroy his world; said mission killed countless innocent people in its wake; the fact that for some people, genocide and kinslaying is an unforgivable crime. He could be an unrepentant sadistic omnicidal maniac as far as other deities are concerned. The Batter is very tight-lipped about his actual intentions, so he's not likely to explain his actions to anyone.
- The House of Family is divided on how it views the Batter. Many see his 'purification' of the Queen and Hugo as reprehensible in the extreme, especially since the former was his (maybe) wife and the latter was a defenseless child. Others point out how he went out of his way to comfort both of them in their dying moments, most evident in his dialogue with the Queen ("Queen of the flies, it’s time to join your disciples. It all went wrong. Time to forget about it and dream sweet dreams.") or the child (When the child told him "I’m… scared of the dark…", his response was "From now on, there will be no more darkness."). That, combined with arguments about The Queen's perceived neglect of her duties as a caretaker and the morality of having to make a sick child suffer more by trying to make him live, and you have a House that's arguing for days over their stance of the Batter's actions.
- Depending on their viewpoint regarding The Batter, gods in the Pantheon literally see him differently. Those who sympathize or are neutral towards him reported seeing him as a pale man wearing a white baseball uniform and a black cap that hides his eyes in shadow. Those who don't have favorable opinions of him tend to scream something about a monstrous duck. Upon being made aware of his presence and his backstory, The SCP Foundation is very interested in studying the Batter, as well as the process of purification and its aftereffects. They're also very interested in finding out what the Batter actually is, given the way he can appear in alternate, more clearly inhuman forms. Whether they also intend on classifying him as an SCP or recruiting him as an Agent (or perhaps both) is currently being discussed by the O5 Council members.
- Due to the recent revelations, some of his allies at that point have understandably quietly distanced themselves from The Batter. Luigi, having prevent beings who tried to destroy the universe like Count Bleck (formerly) and Dimentio, is one of those people. That and he's now seeing The Batter's scarier alternative form. The Magical Girl Sisterhood, in an unusual move, has decided to still keep their ties to the Batter, arguing it would be better for them to keep watch of the Batter for the time being given the number of evil beings that want to use him for their plans. Junko herself still works with the Batter because she's that persistent in her pursuit of revenge, but has been more secretive about it so that the Magical Girls won't be aware of her plans. (Disturbing, The Batter recently convinced Junko to start teaching him how to use Spell Cards). Despite this turn of events, he's managed to gain some additional allies:
- Due to their shared affinity for mixing spirituality and ass-kicking, the Batter and Alexander Anderson get along like a house on fire. The Batter was willing to overlook the fact that Anderson used the corruptive power of the Nail of Helena due to how it was only to complete his sacred mission (killing Alucard), and actually commended Anderson on his commitment to seeing it through. Anderson, on the other hand, is willing to overlook the Batter's mass destruction of his world, seemingly agreeing that his drastic measure by the amount of wicked spirits and evil leaders his world has.
- Recently has been making rather unusual extensive visits to Oriko Mikuni, a magical girl who is not part of the Sisterhood due to her actions of killing Madoka in one timeline. Other gods aren't sure what they discuss behind their closed doors, but during a session of speculating it has been pointed out that they do share several things in common. Both started out as friendly heroes with seemingly good intentions, only to reveal themselves as some to rally against. Both have embarked on missions concerning the fate of the world with deadly amounts of determination and lethal force, remaining largely stoic about executing their missions, and remaining Defiant to the End when they were slain. There's also the fact that they both wear a lot of white. The fact that, on top of these strange actions, The Batter also has been seen using Oriko's ball attacks for batting practice.
- He's also been stocking up on a staggering number of restorative items and making frequent visits to the Houses of Weapons and Craft. When their supplies had run out, he decided to appoint his vendor Zacherie as his herald. He sells him various weapons and defense wares that can only be found in The Batter's world. Upon being resurrected, Zacherie seems amused about the situation and decided to go along with this fanfiction. Upon the discovery of video footage of what looked like the Batter and Zacharie dancing together
, several deities questioned him as he was passing the House of Music if he does indeed dance. The Batter's denial, coupled with the location it was delivered in, kickstarted a Spontaneous Musical Number
.
- In an unexpected turn of events, Papyrus has struck up a friendship with The Batter. When Papyrus attempted to stop The Batter in his tracks with his puzzles near his temple, The Batter managed to solve some puzzle traps with ease, much to the surprise of the skeleton. Impressed, he later befriended The Batter, to which the latter accept when he sense a strange familiarity with the skeleton. They both found out that in an alternate timeline
, the skeleton managed to gain the respect of the Batter to the point where he decided to save the world. Passively
. Even after being aware of The Batter's past, Papyrus sincerely believes The Batter can change for the better in his time here in the Pantheon.
- Speaking of Underground denizens, he has found an astounding number of similarities between himself and King Asgore Dreemur, namely the fact that they are willing to kill children to fulfill their respective missions, something that the latter notices and is saddened by. They regularly meet for tea and are on surprisingly admirable terms. Not all welcome his presence though. Because he can eliminate ghosts, his hall neighbor Napstablook is very fearful of ever encountering the Batter. The same applies for Mettaton, who himself is actually a ghost.
- The Grand United Alliance of Destruction is very impressed by The Batter's accomplishments, especially Nekron, who wants all life to go back into being an empty void. There have been numerous attempts to recruit The Batter, only for their planned meetings to be thawed by The Magical Girl Sisterhood. When they were able to privately get a meeting with him, the Batter, surprisingly, rejected their offers to join them. Suspecting they know what his actual mission in the Pantheon was, The Batter told them that his sacred mission is for him and only him to fulfill on his own. They actually didn't know what The Batter's Pantheonic mission was. Either way, they are still trying to convince the Batter to join them as they think he can be a very powerful ally for their goals of destroying the Pantheon and everything else in existence.
- Despite not allying himself with the GUAD, many heroic deities are very weary of The Batter, wondering if he ever has any intentions to destroy the Pantheon one day. After all, he's already destroyed one world, why not the other? The paladin Artix Von Krieger, for example, sees a dark mirror of himself with The Batter, as he too was also sent to destroy the world with darkness, but refuses to carry out this mission as he refuses to hurt anyone. He, along with other heroes debated on whether to do something about him. Despite their suspicions, they had no choice but to make him a low priority since 1) besides ghost-hunting or vigilantism, the Batter has yet to have done something that would be a world-ending threat (unlike other deities who are more active with their world-destroying goals) and 2) The Magical Girl Sisterhood are already keeping an eye on the Batter. For now, they are keeping in touch with the girls in case something happens to him.
- Much like other deities, The Batter has memories of different timelines. He mainly remembers four of them: The path where he never fulfilled his mission because he and The Player repeatedly strike The Judge dead
during the tutorial; the paths where The Player sides with the Batter; and the paths where The Player betrays him and sides with The Judge, which lead to his death. The fourth timeline is a bit strange; after he and The Player collected some items and purified the woman in Zone 0's basement, Zacharie gave them a choice between getting the Ashley Bat and the Aries-card for free, The Batter chose the latter. Upon completing his mission in that timeline, The Batter discovered that he was being used as a pawn by space apes, who wanted to the void he left behind to build giant robot factories to fight the flying brains from the planet Aurus.
- He didn't react much at the time, but shortly thereafter he visited the House of Mammals and barged into Winston's temple. He requests an explanation for his vision regarding the space apes to know more about them. Winston was confused by all this (after all, not all space apes know each other). They then got into a messy fight (because Winston became pissed off at the Batter for barging in and because he's heard of the Batter's antics from other deities). This led to The Batter getting kicked out from the Hall of Mammals.
- In addition to the aforementioned four timelines, The Batter has faint memories of other distant timelines. In one timeline, the world was seemingly reset to what it was but things are not what they seem. He was there to fulfill the same mission as before but he was not connected with his Player. So he spends his time wandering around on his own in the various zones. Because The Judge was able to collect himself and gain a few allies before entering the final room, The Batter was defended once more before he can complete his mission. This is not a good outcome for him. He also noticed that this version of him was more confused and with No Sense of Direction, but also more prideful and more assertive in completing his mission. He also has a One-Winged Angel form exclusive to this timeline: The Bad Executioner.
- In another timeline, after completing his mission, the Batter finds himself in an empty field and his Add-Ons are missing. While searching for his companions, he finds two versions of himself, a ghost version and a monster version (similar to his "bad" form). The trio went up to Heaven to search for his add-ons, but soon found some revelations about themselves and his Add-Ons as they move further along. Oddly enough, he calls The Judge his best friend (despite their overall short interaction in the main timelines) and decided to visit the cat in Purgatory after learning his location. The Judge, having gone mad, refuses to make amends with The Batter, despite the latter's heel-face change. There are plenty other timelines where
he has memories of, but those two examples of distant timelines he sees a lot.

The Judge, having gone mad, refuses to make amends with The Batter, despite the latter's heel-face change. There are plenty other timelines where
- Eventually, one by one, The Batter's enemies also ascended into the Pantheon. Upon hearing that The Judge had ascended, the Batter immediately made his way over to the House of Justice. He was incredibly confused to discover a kindly old man instead of the many-fanged feline. He did eventually meet the Judge, but decided to ignore him for now, at least until the cat tries to stop him again. He also got into a fight with The Guardians as they wanted to take revenge against the Batter for killing them. This only stopped when other deities decided to intervene in the fight. The Batter doesn't seem bothered by their presence, even if he knows they would tell what The Batter has done to them to the other deities.
- His relationship with The Queen is quite complicated. Although, they seem to talk like a bickering married couple when The Player saw their meeting, his mortal superior claims that The Batter was created shortly after he was assigned to The Player when they started the game, meaning that the first time we saw them together was the same room The Player met The Queen. Whether their relationship is genuine (romantic or otherwise) or their creator mimics how two adults talk from a child's perspective is unclear. His meeting with The Queen in this world is a bit different, she happens to reside on the same hall as he does. She tries to talk to The Batter, only for him to pass by her, ignoring her and seemingly disinterested since he knows that she doesn't have any authority in this world. The two acted coldly toward each other after that.
- For The Player (known as [Insert Name Here]), their view on their former puppet fluctuates especially since they either helped the Batter in his mission or turned on him in the last minute. Since the public revelations about The Batter, they have been questioned by their allies, who wanted to know if the rumors they have heard were true. Having been guided by or seen The Player do good to their world, some of their allies (namely Niko, Pochi of the Go-Getters Club and Tiz Arrior) thought it was unthinkable that the same person would also responsible for destroying another world along with slaying a wife and a child. The Player did confirm their worst fears, but in their defense, they don't really have a choice about it. They explained that even though they can control the Batter's actions, only he can decide if a situation is escapable, as he can disable the "Flee" option, most notably in certain battles. So, being unable to "Flee", they were forced to "purify" the child and the world whether they like to or not (unless they exit the game of course). The only option they have is to side with The Judge or not, but it was only after they destroyed the rest of the world. Whether they themselves are sympathetic towards The Batter depends on their mood for the day.
- Some of their allies, though sadden but their explanation understands The Player's action and eventually forgive them for their past. Others who were controlled by INH like Stanley and Frisk and as well as those who met INH like Monika were unsurprised by their confession as they have either witness The Player's destructive game-breaking abilities, their pension for being morally reprehensible things or have experienced being railroaded before, so they do understand The Player's defense. Game joked about INH being tricked by The Batter for once when The Player is usually the one who is proactive in the destruction front from his experience. ICEY pities the Player for being railroaded like herself and she hopes to make the Batter pay for making The Player sad.
- For most of the general public (especially those who don't care about current events), the Batter appears as a weird baseball-uniform-wearing guy who takes out ghosts and other bad people and has his own misadventures. To others, The Batter is rumored to be a puppet for people like Junko and Oriko to enact their revenge quest on their enemies. To The Judge and other heroes, they had always suspected The Batter would try to destroy this world one day. While they didn't know it as of this writing, their suspicions are correct. The Batter's True Mission is to "purify" the Trope Pantheon and remove all the flaws within it. All the inconsistencies, the Forever War, the ever-shifting but still idle Main House, the suffering from some of the deities. Everything. The Batter came to this world disconnected from The Player. He tried to contact them, but they were out of reach for him it seems. He hopes to reunite with them to continue their mission together. After all:
your purpose
is
impossible."

“I'm willing to admit that I may not always be right, but I am never wrong.” ― Samuel Goldwyn
Luigi's the kind of person to oppose universal destruction, so I think he'd oppose the Batter on that front. Otherwise I think the Batter's good to go.
Aw, my poor poor sister. But one I can always count on!

- Some anomalies in the SCP Foundation aren't just benevolent, but helpful. Anything under the "Thaumiel" class actively helps containment. One of these anomalies is SCP-179, or Sauelsuesor if you will. This name means "Sister of the Sun"; she is a black-skinned humanoid that floats over the southern polar region of the Sun. She is a guardian and watcher of life in the Solar System, and not just Earth; if she senses a danger approaching she'll point it out and thus allow people to react in time. She has several markings, identified as those typically representing the Sun, are placed throughout her bodily midline. She's strongly fond of both the sun, who she refers to as her "brother", and is kind, loving, caring, and benevolent toward all life, earthly or otherwise.
- The SCP Foundation was somewhat flummoxed by the arrival of SCP-179 to the Trope Pantheon, as they had hoped to restrict access to her for, among other things, preventing their enemies of knowing about any potential attacks they may launch. The GUAG felt this was rather selfish as Sauelsuesor is one of the few wholly benevolent and effective anomalies they have on record, and a worthy warning signal for any threat to enter the various incarnations of the Solar System. The Thaumiel-class anomaly is still on good terms with the SCP Foundation, but she does consider the GUAG a worth organization to ally herself with. She's never seen leaving from her spot next to her "brother" the Sun, so communication with her is sparse and spotty at times.
- Because of where she lives few deities can even survive reaching her. Those who have gotten close have seen her use sign language to communicate in the vacuum, but she can also speak fluent French...in spite of the fact that she was stationed long before France existed. While "the Star in the Smith" claims that she used to be a star, the more accepted origin is that she was a hunter-gatherer that became what she is somehow, and judged on her very very long hair is around 22,700 years old. And by long, we mean "puts Rapunzel to shame" as it is over 34 kilometers long. It is heavy and strong enough that it was able to tie SCP-096 up, but again good luck at someone other than SCP-179 being able to remove a strand.
- One of the few people that is able to come close to her is also someone powered by the sun, like her; Superman. Well, she's powered by solar winds and he just needs the sunlight, but it's more a "to-ma-toe to-ma-to" difference. He can't spend too much time that close to the Sun though since it could result in a fatal power overload, though in one timeline he overcomes that and gains immense power from spending millennia in the sun. The two respect one another because of their dedication to protecting the Earth, and generally being heroic. SCP-179 sees all life in the Solar System as precious, and if Superman can't detect danger she'll always be there to warn him and others. Because of his super-hearing, he's actually able to hear what she says if he tunes it carefully enough.
- While Superman was the character of the superhero genre that approached her first, some might argue that she shares more in common with the Watcher. Granted she's far more likely to interfere and point out danger, but despite his claims the Watcher isn't above interfering if he feels there's an emergency. Both are situated on classical iconic celestial bodies too. Together, the two serve as invaluable "lifeguards" for residents who live around the Sun. Heimdall is fond of SCP-179 and respects the dedication to her job, noting that the two also share a very similar job. A couple other allies in this regard are Absol and Cassandra. Not so much for their awareness of dangers in space, but in time; she doesn't ignore their prophetic warnings and she doesn't think highly of those that ignore or blame them.
- Her name means "Sister of the Sun", which of course asks the question "which Sun?" It's a question she didn't get at first until SCP-179 realized "wow, there are a lot of them aren't there?" The eldest of these appears to be Ra, the Egyptian Top God who's daily journey is meant to explain, well, the day. He was quick to inform Set that "no, your job won't be effective; I still need your help fighting the dreaded serpent". The Lady of the Vacuum Lake has given Set a heads up when Apophis is going to try and do something unexpected, musing "we're both anomalies
, after all". Set scoffs at this as "typical Foundation pride" but accepts the help. Helios, Amaterasu and Apollo were happy for the additional help. They wonder if she counts as an unrecognized demi-goddess.
- SCP-179 is allied with Apollo, however she thinks he's kind of a jerk because of her aforementioned friendship with Cassandra. Apollo isn't above hitting on her, which she finds annoying, but he's protective of her and dedicated to his role as an "averter of evil". Another ally of hers is Chanticleer, because of his important role in crowing to signal her brother. As she is the sister of a stellar object SCP-179 is allied with Rosalina and Aurelion Sol. She's also very grateful towards Robert Capa for healing her brother. Pinbacker is flippant at this as he's of the belief that SCP-179 is one of the Devil's servants trying to deceive people away from the Judgement Day God has demanded, to which she's mused "only the one in your mind".
- The main concern of the sister of the Sun is, naturally, interstellar forces that are either completely hostile aliens who would harvest/exterminate the Solar System like the Daleks and Harvesters, or malignant celestial bodies like the Sleeper or Planet Remina. The Grox are on her naughty list too, since she has detected hostile spaceships of theirs breaking through the Kuiper Belt. SCP-179 also regards those who want to bring about The Night That Never Ends as ridiculous and self-destructive. Another enemy is the Iris, who wants to infect and subvert the ecosystems and geology of the different planets in the Solar System for its own purposes, and the C'Tan as they would love to just eat all the souls and poison her brother. Initially SCP-179 would've been in conflict with Necrozma due to their hunger for the Sun's light, but they've had a Heel–Face Turn since then. Not that she trusts him, however.
- For the most part, even if you're a villain that lives in the Solar System SCP-179 will leave you alone. She doesn't take favorites; she loves and protects all life in the Solar System. Since there are two different belligerent Martian species, she's somewhat upset whenever there is conflict within the system and would rather they stop fighting and think of either uniting against a shared threat, or recognizing they could accomplish more as allies. Sauelsuesor respects the New Alliance Of Three Stars. The Martian Manhunter was interested in her and he's stated that he has a good relationship with both Earth and Saturn; he could help her in keeping order within the Solar System.
- Though admitting they can be unpleasant at times, she appreciates the spirit of the Blorg Commonality wanting everyone to get along. She's also quite thankful for the Doctor and his TARDIS always coming along to help, and she likes how the TARDIS always warns the Doctor of dangers in the universe (in her words, she always takes the Doctor where he needs to go). She's kind of annoyed when people yeet stuff into the Sun though. Not that she doesn't get why on many an occasion, it's just a pet peeve of hers seeing stuff like this happen to her brother like he's some glorified disposal unit.
for the Touhou suggestions except for the Baku one.
But yeah you should prooobably focus on something other than solely going ham on Touhou.

“Get Snuck-Up On.”I am planning on finishing the World Legacy cast before the aforementioned three, and with summer break, I've got plenty of time afterwards to work and refine my proposals & profiles.
Judging by the reactions, though, it's fair to say that Doremy will not be set for ascension. Thus, I'll only work on Sagume & Hecatia after the WL cast.

There's not really a formal process for suggesting stories. You can start off by telling us your ideas.

Personally, when it comes to Touhou, I prefer if you focused more on reworking the profiles in Pantheon.Touhou Project that haven't been reworked yet, since most of the new Touhou ideas (as I've seen in your sandbox) are moreso supporting/minor characters, which can give out more "there's probably a different, fresher rep for that trope than another Touhou character" responses from others. Also, it might make my eventual rework/merge of Reimu and Marisa easier once those profiles are cleaned up and updated.

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYWell, how should I start this...
Currently, there is a page for a story known as Through Darkness And Mirrors, which is seemingly dropped but is important to the timeline for introducing the GUAD. Additionally, it used to be known as Tarot Crusaders, where the Cutie Mark Crusaders tried to escape a hellscape without losing their souls. Edgy, I know. I've been following this story for a very long time, but as far as I remember, the writer Tropers/Camilla never actually finished the story, and her approach to writing the !Alternate Gentaro Saga has been criticised heavily for being excessively grimdark (at the cost of following source material lore even) and focusing only on a few works.
I have an idea to create a "reboot" of the original Tarot crusaders idea with this: the Ashen One, Frisk, and Circo (along with other characters who are known for 1. Immortality through repawning and 2. Beating odds way above their weight class) find themselves in a "Dark Mirror Dimension" which was once an alternate version of the pantheon but has been destroyed and corrupted into a forsaken land of madness and monsters. On the other side, Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot have to team up to investigate the disappearance of random deities, while Watson has no idea what's going on. Themes of the story are reconciling different ideals and approaches to challenges, how to maintain hope in the face of darkness, and beating impossible odds through teamwork and determination.
Some questions I have:
1. Would Frisk agree or tolerate killing enemies who are truly dead/souless? Not like the Almagamates in the True Lab in Undertale but people who lack cognitive faculties, non-sapient rabid animals, or automatons.
2. I have no idea what Cirno's personality and powers are besides memes. Any advice is appreciated.
3. I don't know how to post on the Wordpress website. How do I do that?
4. Any character recommendations are welcome.
So, what does everyone think?
It's time to face your fearsHey, i had an idea that Dies Differently in Adaptation would be much better for Luis Serra-Navarro
In the original Luis gets impaled from behind by Saddler, getting a pretty unceremonous death as a result even before the game is halfway through. In the remake, with the expanded story of Luis, he is instead killed by Jack Krauser just before him and Leon are able to reach the surface and is much more tragic as a result, which falls in line with the better characterization of the remake.
I've been looking for replacement tropes for Paragus. No luck yet.

The particulars of Frisk's personality tend to be up to the writer's and players' interpretation. Maybe looking at how they're written in their profile can help you decide?

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.
TV Tropes' dedicated hee-ssential worker.

For Paragus, Adaptational Nice Guy, perhaps? While the modern version of Paragus is still evil, his actions are only limited to desiring to kill Vegeta. In comparison, his original counterpart not only aspires to unleash his son's wrath on an entire galaxy and enslave an entire racer, but he's also an abusive father to boot.
Edit: Shit, forgot that trope is presently taken by Barty Crouch. That may throw a spanner into things, if we don't do a sort of musical chairs game with them.
