Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93: I was thinking of either Apparently Human Merfolk or Token Aquatic Race for Aquaman and the Aquafamily (Mera, Kaldur'ahm, Tula, Tempest, Dolphin, Andy Curry, etc.), though maybe a redo should be put on hold for the relaunch/new saga that's all but guaranteed this year. Captain Fishman could work for Namor though.
@Whirl RX: I would recommend this thread
for grammar. Infact, I'd personally recommend it for all non-native English speakers in this thread as a final step before posting among the guidelines.

Here it is again!
Medley Brook and Crystal, Co-Goddesses of Unconventional Kelpies

- Potential house: Hall of Fantastical Beasts in the House of Beasts and Fauna
- Rank: Lesser Gods
- Symbols: Their cutie marks; Medley's is a pink lotus, and Crystal's is a four-pointed snowflake
- Alignments: Medley Brook is Neutral Good; Crystal is Chaotic Good
- Portfolio: Their bodies have similar properties to hydrogen oxide, they can control water's state of matter, Elemental Shapeshifters, one-third of a Geodesic Cast, Canon Foreigners, explode when they come into contact with electricity (but they can get better), were Innocently Insensitive to Zecora alongside the rest of their friends, Water Is Blue
- Medley Brook: Genki Girl, burst into song in a comic, Element of Laughter
- Crystal: Her body is always solid like ice, Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Element of Loyalty
- Domains: Kelpies, water, ice, laughter, loyalty
- Heralds: Zecora, Marini, Dust Devil, and Cactus Rose
- High priestess: Oceara
- Allies:
- Both: All good My Little Pony gods (especially Applejack), Kratos
- Medley: Most members of the Halls of Water and Moisture and Aquatic Life
- Crystal: The Swords of Justice, Jack Frost
- Fear: The entire Hall of Electricity, as well as everyone else with electric powers
- Disliked by: Alphonse and Edward Elric, most DuckTales gods.
- Far away from Equestria is Farasi, a Culture Chop Suey of Africa inhabited by zebras, kelpies, and abada. Medley Brook and Crystal are two such kelpies. They have the power to change water's state of matter, and this extends to their bodies, which are fluid. Medley Brook is usually in a liquid form, while Crystal is usually solid. When they were foals, they were friends with two zebras named Marini and Zecora, and two abada named Cactus Rose and Dust Devil. Zecora became distant from them all as she researched magic, until eventually she jumped on a ship to Equestria and never looked back.
- ...That was, until shortly after Twilight Sparkle was crowned the ruler of all Equestria. She wanted to expand Equestria's knowledge of the world, so she tasked her friends with exploring other nations. Applejack reluctantly dragged Zecora back to Farasi, where she reunited with her old friends. Together, they ventured into the desert to fight the destructive Grootslang, and discovered Farasi's long-forgotten Tree of Harmony. Each of the Farasians gained an element; Medley Brook's was laughter, because she entertained some cacti with a song to repay them for giving the group water, and Crystal's was Loyalty, because she dehydrated herself to save Dust Devil from falling.
- After the international Elements of Harmony saved the world from the Knights of Order, Applejack approached the Court of the Gods and vouched for Medley Brook and Crystal to be ascended to the co-goddesses of kelpies. The Court were impressed, but asked Applejack to bring them here so they could meet them for themselves. Medley was enthusiastic to meet the Court, but Crystal asked them what their deal was, and her mean streak almost got them both rejected. After their ascension, Pinkie Pie threw them a Welcome to the Pantheon Party.
- Their temple is a small oasis surrounded by palm trees. Medley Brook's half is warmer and filled with lotuses, water lilies, and similar freshwater flowers, while Crystal's is decorated with ice sculptures she made herself.
- As soon as she ascended, Medley's first goal was to meet all the water-related creatures she could, so her first stops were the Halls of Aquatic Life and Water and Moisture. Most of the small and cute water-dwellers love her, and she likes to play on the waterslides in the Platypus Playground. She was also ecstatic to learn that there were different kinds of kelpies elsewhere in the multiverse, and set out to find them. One misadventure later, she met Keldeo of the Swords of Justice and immediately bombarded him with questions... until the others showed up. Medley, intimidated by their horn-swords, left.
- Crystal is nowhere near as enthusiastic, so she gets along better with similar aloof, cool types. Due to her more serious attitude, she has a far easier time hanging out with the Swords of Justice. Since Crystal was mischievous as a foal — she used to freeze every puddle Zecora was about to step in — she's a kindred spirit with Jack Frost.
- The duo's most unusual ally, however, is Kratos. In one of his own adventures, he and Freya rode a kelpie to meet the Norns. He wanted to show it to Atreus, but wasn't able to, so he's glad he finally has some other kelpies to show them. However, he didn't even try to ride Medley Brook or Crystal; not only are they too small, but being zebra-like, they'd buck off anyone who tried.
- The Elric brothers find these two unsettling because they remind them of their undead mother from another universe, who could melt her body into water. Similarly, they remind Scrooge McDuck and his allies of two other kelpies who tried to drown them.

Max Owen, Deity of Trans Tribulations (Áine Owen, the Descendant of Aurora)

-
s:
- Intermediate Deity
- Symbol: His necklace (the Amulet of Aurora) converted into a watch-like bracelet
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Portfolio: Born As A Woman, Identifies As A Man, Is Also Gay, Trans Tribulations, Can See Peoples' Emotions In The Form of Light, "Magical Boy" Warrior, Supernaturally Invalidated As A Trans Person Until Later On, Burdened By His Destiny, Magic Staff -> Cool Sword With An Energy Blade And Also Has A Chain For Grabbing, Power Gives You Wings
- Domain(s): Transgender, Magic, Sealing
- Heralds: his his parents Hikari and Kai, "Team Magical Boy" (Jennifer "Jen" Jaiprasert, Sean Moore (eventual boyfriend), and Pyper Ryland)
- High Priestess: Jackie Jameson Macfield
- Followers: Kiyoharu Suirenji, Chiaki Ogawa, Ash, Danny Tozer/Dreadnought IV, Rain Flaherty
- Allies: GUAG Magical Girl Sisterhood, Lie Ren, Naoto Shirogane, Kanji Tatsumi, Korra, [[spoiler:Amara
- Enemies: homophobes, Judge Frollo, the Heartless, other evil demons, Unalaq, Vaatu, Chuck Shurley, Pennywise, the Dementors
- Transgender people have it rough. Not only do they have to come to terms to their own identity, they also have to face judgment from all the people around them. Their family, their friends, their peers, their colleagues, from strangers, from transphobes, from transphiles, and everyone in between. Whether they handle this alone or with support, or whether there's even a happy ending, it's not easy being transgender.
- Max Owen is a born-woman who identifies as a man, but just as he came out to his parents about this, his mother also came out as coming from a line of Magical Girls, and wants to shove her "daughter" back in the closet due to the fact that an image of femininity powers the transformation. Still, Max struggled against that notion anyway while also handling the demons of Devoid that were running loose and attempting to break the seal made by Aurora to keep him in check. And unlike his ancestors, his friends stood by his side in all this and lent a hand in fighting off the demons. As it turns out however, femininity had nothing to do with it at all, for the Goddess Aurora was technically genderless, only adopting the female identity because she envied female life and their ability to create life. It's her followers that assumed femininity was a requirement due to struggling to make sense of Aurora's blessings. As a matter of fact, the first Descendant was actually male and her husband, and ultimately, it all comes back to having love, trust, and empathy for oneself and others..
- The invitation to the Pantheon came one day after the whole mess with Devoid was resolved when an envoy came with the amulet of Aurora. Max could feel its power, and was confused as he thought it had to be surrendered to keep his dimension and Devoid's separate. The envoy told him that the privilege to being a Pantheon deity is the return of magical abilities, and because the Court of the Gods made contact with Aurora and Devoid in their new universe and arranged for Aurora to be able to transmit her power to Max once more. They had also invited Lord Animosus to reunite with Max, but he only did so for a brief moment, given he still has to mediate between Aurora and Devoid so that the tragedy of the past doesn't happen again.
- Even prior to being told of his magical heritage, Max has the ability to see colored lights emitting off people, which usually reflects how they're feeling. He tends to call them "light farts". As for what each color represents, they're as follows: Red for Passion, Pink for Love, Orange for Courage, Yellow for Joy, Green for Hope, Blue for Gratitude, Violet for Faith and Serenity, and Black for negative emotions like Anger, Hatred, and Despair. Lie Ren has noted that it resembles how his Semblance has evolved into, though they take the form of colored petals instead of "farts".
- One of the things that had to be established was that there's no need to worry about any masquerade, since the Pantheon is "unmasqued", and that's somewhat relieving. His invitation into the Magical Girl Sisterhood proved to be another notable affair, as while they've already had males in their main ranks (who happen to turn into girls) (Tail Red, La Pucelle, Natsuru), a trans male is something else, but the whole male MG incident started by Souji Mitsuka's addition has given enough precedent for them to be accepting of Max. It helps that Amu Hinamori has seen Magical Boys in her adventures. Sure, there's the Superhero Division, where the Pantheon's other rare cases of Magical Boys (He-Man, Steven Universe, Cat Noir) are at (well, He-Man's at the Combat Division), but Max doesn't feel like that's his thing.
- Given how there are very few transgender people represented as it is, Max was swiftly introduced to them: Bridget, Poison, Mai Natsume (though her transition was wholly supernatural), Hana of the Tokyo Godfathers, and Madeline, climber of Celeste Mountain. While Max is the sole transmasc among them while everyone else is transfem, they all show their appreciation to being true to himself, and he gets along with all of them well enough (though Poison was a bit harder to tolerate given the ex-gang member's occasional insensitivity).
- In terms of how exactly the Magical Boy's powers work, they're light-based attacks meant for purifying demons ||(read: corrupted nature spirits)|| and sending them to another dimension, and for sealing dimensional rifts. His weapon takes the form of a staff, but he can shift it into a sword with an energy blade. He can also break off pieces of his weapon and hand it over to others to give them the same sealing power as him, but they should also be in the proper positive emotional state for it to work. As seen in the hidden images, his first outfit was a version of his mother's back when she had powers, but as he became more used to his powers and role, his dress slowly turned from feminine to masculine-looking to reflect his growth.
- Admires open-minded parents, especially in regards to gender identity, just as his father Kai has (while his mother Hikari took a long time to come to terms with her child's gender identity, especially with the threat of Devoid's demonic army requiring the power of Aurora and femininity being needed to power the transformation except as established above that was never the case). As a transgender person, Max naturally opposes those who advocate against the LGBT community, and is occasionally tempted to invoke "May the power of gay compel you!" at them if they're the type to force their issues with violence. He also holds sympathy for those in the armored closet, as had been the case with Pyper, given her anti-LGBT pastor of a father, before Devoid's release and one of his demons giving his thanks eventually changed his ways. Speaking of Pastor Ryland, Max also loathes men of the cloth who discriminate and promote such thoughts, and Judge Frollo is one of the vilest sort given his own lust for Esmeralda. And as an old-fashioned man, Frollo is naturally a hard-on transphobe.
- Another kindred soul who somewhat understood Max's tribulation was Naoto Shirogane, who had the reverse "gender reception" situation as him: she once felt society required her to be male to pursue detective work, and her Shadow even offered a gender changing operation. There was also Kanji Tatsumi, who also has non-masculine interests [knitting work], and had feelings for Naoto even before the Investigation Team discovered her secret, which had left him confused and frustrated given he felt he had to hide his hobbies. As someone who was able to help two cosmic beings make amends, he gets along with Amara, but became enemies with Chuck Shurley after hearing how he sees his creations as nothing more than toys for his amusement.
- Strongly opposes emotion eaters, as they're reminiscent of Devoid and his forces, particularly those who thrive on despair. Those mainly on this list are Pennywise (feeds on fears and flesh of children), No Face (though he's only really dangerous if he's feasted on too many negative emotions, and is pretty chill otherwise according to Chihiro Ogino), and the Dementors (feeding off happy memories and emotions). And then there are those that thrive in the presence of despair and in propagating it, such as Junko Enoshima, who is also a bit of a homophobe on top of bringing her entire world to despair just because she's bored. There's also the whole Witch system the Incubators have used (that involve Puella Magi and despair), harvesting their energy to stave off heat death of the universe; [[Well-intentioned extremist they're doing right in the worst way possible]].
- While he doesn't support extremists in the House of Nature, Max can somewhat understand their position, given Devoid was also fighting on behalf of nature spirits that have suffered at the hands of humanity long ago. As someone with the ability to purify nature spirits of their corruption, he's gained an ally in Korra (plus her Team Avatar) who has learned such abilities as well, and an enemy in Unalaq for his nefarious plot, as well as corrupting spirits as Devoid once did in their grief and for siding with Korra. Max also came to realize that unlike Devoid, Vaatu is an actively malicious spirit. Speaking of purification, there's also the matter of the Batter, who is also well-versed in that particular art. That said, his different moral compass, as well as the opinions from the Magical Girl Sisterhood ensures that Max does not let his guard down around the monstrous duck.
I think the Twins are all but ready.

- Amnesia is a convenient narrative tool. It can make one forget many things, like lessons learned, something awesome they did, dying moments after being revived, ages long past that they've lived, a first meeting, their birthday, something traumatic… or that they're responsible for the crisis at hand that they're tasked with solving, such as these two. Lann and Reynn are fraternal twins who live in a place called Nine Wood Hills, living a seemingly normal life until Enna Kros' presence, and the glaring fact that literally nobody else existed in their town made it clear that something was up. With the help of a white fox-like creature named Tama, she and Enna reminded the twins of them being Mirage Keepers, masters of powerful, living illusions known as Mirages, and of a world called Grymoire, which is populated by smallfolk called Lilikins, and is currently under attack by an evil army known as the Bahamutian Federation, led by Brandelis.
- However, several days into the adventure, near the first end, it's revealed that the twins were responsible for Brandelis entering Grymoire in the first place; as it was known, Lann and Reynn used to be incredibly powerful Mirage Keepers, but what wasn't known until later was that they were irresponsible, reckless, and inadvertently summoned Brandelis using their adopted sister Hauyn as a power source (not that they knew that), enabling two of his lieutenants Pellinore and Segwarides to possess their parents Lusse Farne and Rorrik, and wreak havoc on Grymoire. They also stripped Lann and Reynn of their Mirages as they tried to take them on, forcing the twins to flee. As for how Lann and Reynn ended up where they were at the start of the story, Lusse used the weapons that Rorrik created to seal Brandelis in a pocket dimension (that the twins ended up inadvertently opening). Lusse then managed to use Rorrik's powers in combination with her own to create a Fake Nine Wood Hills in a last ditch effort to save Lann and Reynn after getting taken over by Pellinore and Segwarides. Rorrick's powers however weren't used correctly, so Nine Wood Hills was basically ended up being just a pocket world removed from time's flow with just Lann and Reynn existing in it. Due to the haphazard way of their transfer, the twins' memories were unceremoniously spliced away, and they entered a state of trance, wherein they pretend at broken lives within their broken world. At least before the beginning of the story occurred.
- The twins arrived in the Pantheon after the True End of their story. The last thing they remembered was sacrificing themselves to correct their mistake of letting Brandelis loose. Sometime during that, they managed to break away from him and ended up lost in the void. During their cruise, they came across a portal and—lacking any reliable means of locomotion in space—they crossed it, and found themselves in a new dimension before they were spat out and into the House of Narrative. As for the deal with the post-game, the Lann and Reynn that return are prismarium-copies/Champions now under Hauyn, and are split off from the real deal. As for Future Lann in the final ending, he's a byproduct of a Sequel Hook unlikely to come to pass. And technically speaking, the Lann and Reynn in the Pantheon are split off from the real deal as well, whose fates are still unknown.
- And just to make sure they have someone to help keep them in line since Tama and Serafie are still at Grymoire with Hauyn now, the Court of the Gods decided to bring in their parents Back from the Dead, and a tearful reunion was had. Now, Lussa and Rorrik are technically retired, but are teaching their children how to more properly use their powers, making up for lost time, their own failure as parents and their failure to discipline their children from Day 1, which led to Lann and Reynn becoming entitled jerks before they accidentally summoned Brandelis. Their temple resembles Nine Bean Coffee, a little store that Lann used to work in during his amnesiac state before he and Reynn realized the true nature of the Nine Wood Hills they were at. This also comes with an entrance to a version of their room back in Nine Wood Hills. Presently, they, their parents, and some of their Mirages operate it, though they're getting help from the House of Food to keep it going.
- Applies to both:
- Despite tossing over their Mirages to Hauyn before their Heroic Sacrifice, Lann and Reynn found themselves reunited with all their collected Mirages plus a couple more, being copies of the ones they've collected plus whatever Hauyn found in the post-game. They've also been notified that there are no more Mirages they can collect in the Pantheon, which they weren't sure was either a disappointment or if it was for the best, given how poorly they managed theirs last time. Lann and Reynn are able to switch between two forms at will; Jiant (which is just regular human-size), and Lilikin (chibi-size and knee-high). The term can get confusing since actual giant-sized entities exist in the Pantheon. And neither form is significantly any stronger or weaker than the other; size and looks are the only difference.
- In combat, aside from fists and a short blade respectively (which can be used to channel an element for elemental damage), Lann and Reynn Stack Mirages on top of their heads (or/and Stack themselves on bigger Mirages depending on their current sizes), combining their vitality and unlocking certain spells and techniques depending on the components, but also sharing their weaknesses, which put them at risk of getting Unstacked. In that state, the twins and their Mirages are weaker individually, but can all act on their own accord. They can also summon XL-size Mega Mirages separately, though have to shift to Lilikin form and dismiss their current Stacks.
- Technically, the twins don't actually have to be part of the Stack they make, and can use three Mirages instead, but their really powerful assets (Champion Medals, Mirajewels, summoning Mega Mirages) make such a thing mostly impractical. Also, they've never really re-learned how to control more than 6 Mirages at a time, so there's no separate Mirage Stacks plus their own Stacks. And before one worries about the ethics of how the Mirages are imprismed, Prisms hold a miniature world inside that act like comfortable environments. Given the way the twins battle, parallels have been drawn between them and Pokémon Trainers (in terms of collection), Demon Tamers (in that they fight alongside their Mons), and that their Mirage Transfiguration
is closer to Digivolution.
- It's not known if the twins can make stacks with anything other than Mirages. When this was pointed out, Lann now wonders if Stacking himself on top of a giant robot is possible. Reynn reminded him that it's not just strengths that are shared, but weaknesses too, and that may not be good for the robot (or its pilot). And while they're able to Stack really well with Mirages, it's not certain that others can maintain such balance the same way. The twins do more than just battle with their Mirages, though; they're also used to negotiate obstacles like weights, obstructions, and gaps. They used to rely on symbols patented by Enna Kros, but since she isn't here, the twins now have to rely on their own intuition instead.
- Back in Grymoire, whenever the twins bite the dust, Tama turns back time to before the battle (and only battles) that wipes them out (and only covers them) takes place. In here, the Houses of Life and Death cover their revival, and there are no time travel shenanigans for the twins specifically anymore. And without Serafie around (or at least the Serafie that aided them), the twins' Mirage Storage System is managed by a special computer in their temple, a la Pokémon Storage System. And just like it, this system is also accessible from certain other computers.
- Thanks to Neon Tsukiyumi a.k.a. the Girl Who Forgot Her Name, they can still summon Champions
from Grymoire using their corresponding Champion Medals. Or use Champion Jewels to turn into said champions temporarily (though have to be in Lilikin form first, and have to match the user's gender, so no gender bending allowed). Mega Mirages cannot be called out in this state.
- Naturally, as Final Fantasy characters, Lann and Reynn got their chances to meet the "Jiant" counterparts of those in Grymoire, as well as their companions. For the most part, minus the villains naturally, they got along with all of the heroes and their allies. While they haven't technically met any versions of the villains in Grymoire (besides Sephiroth, technically), they've come to despise them in the Pantheon as well, most of all Kefka due to his role in Terra's life (as well as his psychopathic mania and nihilism).
- The twins' bond to them also prevents Mirages from being stolen by others, just like how they've failed to imprism Mirages beholden to another Keeper. And while there are no more Mirages to imprism, the twins still have some spare eldboxes, which might be able to capture other machines in the Pantheon, though catching singular deities is naturally not allowed. After some testing, it's found out that those from groups like Null Sector, SKYNET's Terminators (except the ones who've tangled with the Connors), and Gray Mann's, Dr. Wily's, and Dr. Eggman's robots are fair game. Those captured have become loyal to the Mirage Keepers and now follow the same rules as other eldbox-captured machines. One of the machines they already have is a Magitek Armor (though only for Lilikin size), one for each of the two.
- As for how exactly a Mirage Keeper's powers work, well… this should give a lengthy sum-up (endgame spoilers ahead)
. But basically, their powers are not like those of a summoner's. They come from the combination of two other kinds of people; a Breaker (who has the power to bend or "break" the laws of the world), and an Architect (has the ability to create something from nothing, in a sense), which Lusse Farne and Rorrik were. Rorrik created special Knives Lusse (and Reynn) use, which have the power to subdue a Mirage, as well as the Prismariums which can contain them. Lusse used these tools to control the Mirages by creating worlds in the Prismariums to house them. Lann and Reynn inherited both of these powers to different degrees (Lann has more Architect power while Reynn leans towards Breaker), and unlike their parents, who had to cooperate to achieve results, the twins had no such restrictions, and lacked both sense of responsibility and proper upbringing.
- Given their title, Lann and Reynn get a massive amount of flak for just about reaching the crown prize of being the absolute worst JRPG protagonists in history. Oh sure, there are other protagonists that screw up on occasion, or fail to stop the villain from doing something heinous to the world, or are outright evil, but it's hard to come up with any that are so singularly incompetent as these two (well, there's only one who's far, far worse). They acted like complete immature brats (that they think they have things under control when they're clearly in over their heads), invited Brandelis into their world, sealed away their "friend" for trying to talk sense into them, got their parents possessed, opened up the villain's portal again allowing him to bring in the Cogna, proceeded to then get their parents and friend killed, and Lann's "Heroic Sacrifice" in the first go-around… solved absolutely nothing. At the very least, unlike "that other idiot", they had lost memories and being strung along by roughly three different factions as excuses.
- They oppose the GUAs of Destruction and Machines, as well as the Heartless, for being reminiscent of the Cogna that invaded Grymoire (and being the type of foe that would stop at nothing until every last world within their reach is destroyed). The latter GUA have it a bit more personal given all the machines the twins have stolen and turned into Mirages. Basically, any multiversal conqueror by default is their enemy, not that that's hard. Now that they remember their collossal screwup from last time (which Hauyn actually had a hand in before second-guessing too late), they want to ensure no one else repeats such a mistake ever again. Unfortunately, the way they lost their memories means it's impossible to just recover them because they didn't simply forget them; they were outright removed.
- When it comes to holding Gil, Reynn is the one who keeps hold of it and keeps it away from Lann. They also dislike vampires, given Reynn got briefly turned into one, and Lann slayed the Vampire Prime that infected her and so many others. When it comes to rewards programs run by governments, it reminds the twins of the Civic Rank system the Bahamutian Federation employed to keep its ctizens in line. It was also reminiscent of cults. And them putting "worthy" ones into a Lotus-Eater Machine to be harvested for energy has also driven them to dislike the Machine Collective.
- Exclusive to Lann:
- Has been compared to Fighter McWarrior, given that they tend to be really dumb about most things, yet really smart about others. And things got stupid when Fighter proposed the two stacking together with his Armoire of Invincibility just to see how well it can work out. Unfortunately, the fact that the Armoire is a piece of furniture, no matter how magical it is, means it cannot be included in a Stack. With the exception of certain stupid decisions, Lann has uncanny threat assessment skills and never picked fights he couldn't win. When asked about the first Murkrift Mirage he stupidly challenged that ended in Tama forcing back the clock to reverse their deaths, he has no real good excuse for that.
- Thanks to the restoration of (some of) their memories, Lann has one more trick up his sleeve: to create an Imprism around a target, even if they're not Mirages. Human-sized targets like Hauyn pre-amnesia are just fine, and he can temporarily use the powers of those sealed within such crystal cages similar to a Mirage. But with bigger targets, he morphs his gauntlet into a massive, mechanical arm that starts at his shoulder and extends as long as he is tall
◊. However, if he doesn't concentrate enough, he runs the risk of sealing himself along with his target. Reynn saw the consequences of that first-hand and doesn't want Lann to resort to that again. Not without a calmer mind first: with that, he can encase just the head of a target, and if Reynn is there to rein in the power, they can forge a nested cage to ensure that its victim cannot move or escape its confines. Outside forces however can still shatter the Imprism, such as it tipping over from a strong enough tempest of wind.
- Exclusive to Reynn:
- When she gets upset, Reynn goes on educational rants and spouts random trivia. She also tends to call put Lann on doing certain stupid things or ponder about their current course of action… without even offering or thinking of any alternative ideas, which a lot of people give her flak for. At least her brother is just an idiot, whereas she's supposed to guide him yet doesn't. On top of being terrified of ghosts, she also loathes those who taunt people with their agility, given her grievances with the Cactuar Conductor spooking her once when they reached the Eclipsed Region.
- Due to her refusal to accept the consequences of her and Lann's go-about the first time that ended with their family dead, Lann sealed with Brandelis, her a broken shell in the Nine Wood Hills outside of time, and Cogna still on the loose on Grymoire, and Tamamohime making a deal with her to turn back time for a second chance, the Dahaka opposes Reynn; reasonings don't matter to him. The fact that time gets tangled with again just to get her back after that makes it worse. (Gets along with those who were given a second chance in their timeline)

TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members Database@azul — On the subject of Aquaman, I would rather go with just him and Mera for Lord of the Ocean. I can get the point of a group profile, but other than Aqualad and potentially Andy (that is if they expand on her character in future works), there's not much to work around on with the other members of the cast.
I agree that Aquaman needs a rework, but there does seem to be some questioning on how it should be done. I'll respect your stance, so I'll leave it up to others to decide what is the best possible direction.
@magnum — Late to this discussion regarding Yusuke Godai, but Beware the Nice Ones is already occupied by Retsu Unohana and while his moment surrounding No-Holds-Barred Beatdown is certainly iconic, I'm giving that a
because that trope doesn't necessarily define Yusuke's character and I find it awkward to define him in the Pantheon trope-wise with just one moment. While I haven't watched any of the Kamen Rider shows, I do try to do my research so that at least I get the idea of what's to be expected and how to approach certain situations.
For Yusuke, keep All-Loving Hero until a better trope idea is suggested for replacement + with good reasoning.

WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!So I have noticed that Firefly is in three houses: Disabilities, Types of Madness, and Psyches. Ignoring that he probably should get reworked at some point, which house should he be removed from?
The legend has returned.
Take him out of Psyches as Madness itself is a type of Psyche that has its own House and Firefly being there feels redundant.
I was the one who added him in Disabilities when I made that Hall, but I don't have a problem taking him out there either. Maybe if there's a Hall of Mental Disabilities and Illness, he could fit there better once it's made.
WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!![]()
I gave the Plantars a
a while ago, so 5
for both. This means you can put both profiles in the Pantheon immediately.
Still looking for other interactions for The Judge and The Queen
@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93:
- Captain Fishman - Is there a reason why Aquaman and Namor can't be the Co-Gods of the trope unlike Ken and Goku who shares Kamehame Hadoken?
@snafuthegreat - Karin and Mika -
@nightelf37
Arland Quartet
- Honoka should have something else in common with Rorona besides the costume reference so that the interaction won't look as shallow.
- Same with Emilia for Lulua, what else do they have in common besides looks.
- Mole Ram and Zigfrid Shultz commit human sacrifices, Tezcatlipoca is fine with human sacrifices. Margaret is victim of this as she became a magic gun after she was sacrificed by her own parents.
- The House of Royalty has a lot of good and evil royals there.
- Is "||(read: corrupted nature spirits)||" supposed to be spoiler? Also, the phrase "how he sees his creations as nothing more than toys for his amusement" should be on a spoiler. And "they're doing right in the worst way possible" on the last flavor text isn't linked to Well-Intentioned Extremist
- Timmy Turner (See episode Father Time) and Yuno Gasai (Sees Future Dairy's entry on Alternate Timeline) used time travel and alternative Timelines to fix their faults. The Elite Time Police Enforcers, Max Walker, Marty McFly and Doc Brown are deities who use time travel to Set Right What Once Went Wrong, even if they are not the direct cause of the fault.
- According to her wiki page, Rena get really pissed if she thinks she's being lied to. However, she can also see if a person is telling the truth "just by looking into their eyes". Perhaps her Cute Mode would turn into anger if the person transforms back, but comes to her senses once her friend Keiichi and the twins clarified the situation to them.
@NitroIndigo - Medley Brook and Crystal
- Jake Long would be wary of the MLP!Kelpies. In his world, kelpies are shape-shifting creatures that lives in oceans and takes the power of any magical creature on which it feeds. (They also look like fish-men rather than horse-like, but they appear won't matter to him since they shape-shifting). Jake would probably be thankful that the MPL!Kelpies are not aggressive or evil.
- To expand on the last text, what would their most likely reaction to people who don't trust them?
- I want to see more of the We Used to Be Friends angle of their story. Master Oogway and Kai are good parallel. They used to be friends until Kai learning about Chi powers and trying to steal it for his own, caused their friend to fall apart. See the Kung Fu Panda 3 entry in the page for more details. You can also search for example in that page as well and find someone in a similar situation to the two.

“I'm willing to admit that I may not always be right, but I am never wrong.” ― Samuel Goldwyn![]()
![]()
We no longer allow characters of different tropes to share the same tropes as Co-Gods. Not unless there are variations of the trope like say Our Dragons Are Different (East and Western Dragons), Our Elves Are Different (High, Wood, Dark, maybe Sea and Snow not sure about the last two). This something from Old Pantheon that we simply haven't fixed yet, slso it isn't Ken who shares Kamehame Hadoken with Goku but Ryu.
On the Subject of the two sharing the trope, how about we fix this now? Permission to tropes change Rock Lee's trope from Can't Hold His Liquor to Hurricane Kick, for his iconic use of his Leaf Whirlwind/Hurricane kicks? Ryu can keep his Kamehame Hadoken and Goku can keep his Super Mode.
Also putting in my opinion about Aquaman and the Aquafamily. I actually support the Aquaman Family in a group profile for Apparently Human Merfolk or Token Aquatic Race.

Done with Flipper.
Flipper, God of Heroic Dolphins

- Demigod
- Symbol: Himself
- Theme Music: Flipper Theme
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Portfolio: Friendly, Playful Dolphin, Heroic Pet Story, Having to Save His Owners from Danger, Amplified Animal Aptitude, Makes a Kookaburra Noise, Non-Human Sidekick, Character Title
- Domains: Dolphins, Heroism
- Heralds: Porter, Sandy, & Dr. Keith “Bud” Ricks, Maya Graham, Lopaka, Ottie, Ray, Puffy, Ultra
- Allies: Ecco, Eliza Thornberry, ABZU Diver, Aquaman, Burning Rangers
- Enemies: The Cyclops (Spongebob Squarepants), Octogeddon, Black Manta, Joe (Help! I’m a Fish), Bruce the Shark
- Wary of: Orm the Ocean Master, Namor the Sub-Mariner
- Strained Relations: The Orca
- Observed by: David Attenborough, Steve Zissou
- Once there was a boy named Sandy Ricks who met an injured dolphin that he would later name Flipper and it took some time for Porter, Sandy’s father, to warm up to the dolphin. From there, Flipper and his adopted family have taken part in many adventures at the Coral Key Park and Marine Preserve in Florida, helping each other and stopping criminals that get in the way. Flipper would later end up in Bal Harbor in the Florida Keys alongside Dr. Keith Ricks (a grown-up Bud) and his line of work in saving the day and endearing himself to others continued even after Dr. Ricks left. He would even find a place in Quetzo, an underwater civilization within proximity of Illokan islands, and work together with a Lopaka, a boy who is able to communicate with marine life and other animals living in Quetzo. No matter where he lives or who his owner is, Flipper retains a good heart and does his best to set things right if trouble is afoot.
- Flipper was at sea one day having finished another successful rescue mission when he saw a small boat headed his way. There was only one person on the boat, but they were given a note to be handed over to Flipper’s owners talking about how useful the dolphin can be in handling problems. The note also mentioned that there were plenty of significant people interested in Flipper both for different reasons and that he would make a great performer for aquatic shows whenever he isn’t out performing heroics. While Flipper has previously been part of Florida and islands far from it, there were going to be a lot more areas to swim at, danger to face, and lives to save after learning of that note and place it originated from.
- Ecco was another dolphin with higher-than-normal intelligence for creatures of his kind who saved others from trouble that Flipper easily got along with. Despite similar behavior, Ecco’s adventures across time were far more fantastical than even Ecco’s time in Quetzo and involved much more than just people trying to harm Ecco’s home and friends. These bad futures that Ecco witnessed and tried to prevent involved life being wiped out or enslaved by malevolent races and to learn of such dark possibilities frightened Flipper as it meant that any friends he’d make could fall victim to something that would be extremely difficult, if not outright impossible, for a relatively normal dolphin like Flipper to stop without the help of stronger allies. Knowing how kind-hearted Flipper is, Ecco has opted to help him understand the challenges present in a larger world filled with wonder and how to make the most of his heroism.
- Similar to the Ricks family from Coral Key Marine Park and Preserve and later Maya Graham from Bal Harbor, there were humans who were interested in Flipper in the Pantheon and in some cases were willing to have him involved in their studies of marine life. Eliza Thornberry has made several nature documentaries with her family and has a chimpanzee named Darwin who is a loyal member of the team, so the idea of making a documentary about marine life, both living in the ocean and those living in marine preserves, with a dolphin who knows what it’s like to live in both areas, was enticing for her in addition to being able to communicate with him. Steve Zissou learned about the Illokan Islands and the underwater civilization of Quetzo from a conversation with others knowledgeable about Flipper prompted him to plan filming a documentary about that area to bring up anything of interest to others, with Eliza Thornberry and David Attenborough potentially being involved in that project. Speaking of Attenborough, Flipper being able to live in both marine preserves and in the wild was something of interest to him, as it showed that properly taking care of animals in enclosed preservation areas like an aquarium can help with preventing the extinction of certain animals once they’re out in the wild, regardless of the larger-than-life adventures Flipper takes part in.
- The ABZU Diver was another entity dedicated to understanding marine life that Flipper got along with and it was through hanging out with her that Flipper got to see many other underwater settings that he had never seen before. In turn, the ABZU Diver learned about Quetzo and has set plans to explore it and maintain its underwater beauty for the sake of Flipper, his aquatic friends, and other sea creatures. She has also given Flipper plenty of motivation to explore other aquatic settings, with some being desolate, others being serene, and others such as Bikini Bottom being strange enough that it can surprise Flipper in different ways. Flipper has been seen as a support animal for others and while he can support the ABZU Diver, there have been plenty of moments where she’s helped him get out of a dangerous situation thanks to her experience being with threatening sea creatures.
- There have been a handful of adventurers who have met a dolphin back then that helped them in their quest. Some of these adventurers have taken to the seas and have sometimes met Flipper, who is more than willing to lend them his help at the moment. There were entities such as the Burning Rangers who have helped out a dolphin back then, something that Flipper approved of and in the case of the Burning Rangers, he was willing to help them with their job by getting innocents to safety as the Burning Rangers extinguish the fires that are nearby. As much as Flipper wants to be of help to someone in trouble, there are some who have had bad experiences with bottlenose dolphins such as the Madagascar Penguins, who have fought against the evil inventor Dr. Blowhole, that are distrustful of Flipper or others like him (or at the very least can fend for themselves regardless of whether or not they’ve met dolphins of any kind).
- Aquaman became one of Flipper’s most trusted allies by virtue of being the ruler of an underwater kingdom and an effective superhero within his element. Whenever he isn’t caught up in the conflicts involving other superpowered aquatic entities such as his rival Orm the Ocean Master or Namor the Sub-Mariner, Aquaman has provided Flipper some aid during the dolphin’s more intense missions, sometimes helping the dolphin get out of trouble should it happen. On the subject of Orm and Namor, Flipper is wary about getting involved with either of them due to their ruthless and at times morally ambiguous nature. Although Orm does care about the ocean, he has some dangerous sea creatures at his side to use if anyone opposes him while Namor is difficult to not have an antagonistic relationship towards due to him being aggressive and selfish. Aquaman, Orm, and Namor are all connected to the famed underwater city of Atlantis, with the former two in conflict for the throne and while Atlantis is an area Flipper is more than willing to visit, he doesn’t want to get involved in the ongoing battle over who should rule over it.
- Besides confronting humans that threatened his friends or the sea, Flipper has gone up against an octopus named Dexter, who was focused on taking over Quetzo and the area around it. While Dexter has done a variety of dastardly deeds to take over the sea, they don’t compare to the sheer destruction that Octogeddon can do whenever he’s on a rampage. It doesn’t help that although Octogeddon isn’t evil by default, he can be easily angered over slight offenses made towards him and it will require a lot of effort from plenty of powerful entities to take him down. Flipper can’t confront Octogeddon directly due to the latter’s destructive power and anger issues that can trigger him, so the most that he can do is try and help others near aquatic areas get to safety and avoid getting critically hurt by Octogeddon.
- Octogeddon taking to land easily in addition to being powerful is enough of a problem for Flipper as is, but the fact that there are plenty of creatures that primarily live in the sea has only added to Flipper’s worries. Whether it’s a relatively mundane creature such as Bruce the Shark or something far larger with abilities that require plenty of coordination to take down such as The Meg or Lagiacrus, protecting innocents from such entities will require much more than Flipper’s smarts to ensure the survival of himself or his allies. A pilot fish by the name of Joe ended up being one of Flipper’s more notable adversaries due to him being an uplifted fish that wanted to overthrow humanity, with such an idea having the potential to threaten both land-based life and aquatic life should it succeed. Joe is frustrated that Flipper is wasting his higher-than-normal intelligence on hanging out with humans instead of trying to subjugate them and Flipper feels that the fish antidote that Joe is trying to circulate is too dangerous to be kept around, especially with how many dangerous sea creatures are there that can be more of a threat if they somehow got their fins on it.
- Many sea monsters have attacked others unprovoked, but one such creature who had a reason for doing so, regardless of how justified it was doing so, was an orca whale whose mate and unborn calf was killed by a fisherman. The Orca has developed a deep-seated distrust, if not outright hatred, of humans as a result of what he went through and many other lesser sea creatures are hesitant to get close to him because of it. Flipper can understand the rage that The Orca is going through as Flipper has dealt with problematic people that threaten the well-being of the sea including a fisherman that killed Flipper’s mother and family, but the main problem Flipper has is that The Orca is putting entities who has no involvement with The Orca’s plight at risk whenever it goes on a rampage. Very few individuals such as the ABZU Diver can get The Orca to calm down, with Flipper being someone who can only try to help others get to safety if they’re caught in The Orca’s destructive path.
- Flipper is aware of who pirates are thanks to his encounters with a trio of them who sought Neptune’s statue and trident at Iloka. While there are some such as the aforementioned Black Manta who pose a great danger towards their enemies, others lack that level of malice or have benevolent intentions. When it comes to pirates having dolphins working with them, he learned about how one adventure that Doraemon and friends ended up in had them meeting a dolphin who not only was the pet of Captain Kidd’s nephew Jack, but was also a time-traveling cop from the future. While going through time isn’t going to happen unless Ecco is involved (and even then Flipper and Ecco have their own battles to take part in separately), if there’s something out there that many are after and could spell trouble if it ends up in the wrong hands, Flipper will help out whoever needs him and potentially throw a wrench into the plans of whatever villain is seeking treasure.
- While there have been many foes that threatened sea life, few have earned plenty of scorn from Flipper as much as a scuba diver that had terrorized Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star. Known only as The Cyclops, he operates a shop and murders any sea creature he captures so that he can turn them into tacky souvenirs and sell them for money. Having been used to being an adopted pet for some caring humans and making visitors happy, Flipper sees The Cyclops’ business as worse than some of the foul fishermen he’s confronted in addition to seeing said business as an antithesis to being part of a marine preserve and is more than willing to drive it out of business. While there have been some who have taken up scuba diving, The Cyclops has a distinct green glow to him that Flipper can identify and thwart his attempts at kidnapping helpless fish that cross his path with the help of others.

Also, you know Vertraag, who I mentioned in the Spectral Familiars' profile? Because I feel like it raises the question of, "why isn't he in the Pantheon?" Unfortunately, I couldn't get into Siralim (the game he originates from), and I can't think of a single trope he could represent that hasn't already been taken. I'm not desperate to see him ascended, but I'm just putting that idea out there.

- A rising idol that brings smiles in a miserable world, Uta is the adopted daughter of one of the Four Emperors, Red-Haired Shanks. Uta was subsequently left on the island of Elgia when she was younger and never saw Shanks again until she grew into a young adult, not without good reason. When visiting Elgia, Uta's Sing-Sing Devil Fruit abilities attracted Tot Musica, an Eldritch Abomination with a connection to that Devil Fruit's user. It possessed Uta, leaving a trail of destruction that left Uta and the composer Gordon as the Sole Survivors of Elgia. To prevent the World Government from targeting Uta, the Red-Hair Pirates were forced to abandon her under Gordon's care, taking the blame for the incident by pretending they raided the town. Years would pass and Uta was raised by Gordon on the empty island, before learning that she could use technology to connect to others in the outside world. She would try cheering up people throughout the world through her music, her heart pouring out to those affected by the conflicts between pirates and the tyrannical World Government. One day, she accidentally came upon a recording that told her role in reviving Tot Musica and bringing destruction to Elgia. This revelation gave Uta the resolve to bring "eternal happiness" to everybody on the planet by trapping them all in a Dream Land her Devil Fruit created, where suffering would cease to be.
- Thanks to her popularity, it was relatively easy for Uta to host a simulcasted concert where billions will hear her sing, the Straw Hat pirates not being exempt. As her dream only exists as long as she is awake, Uta ate the poisonous wake-shrooms to keep herself up, intending to die so she could trap as many people as she could in her fantasy forevermore. According to the Five Elders who were horrified by what was happening, Uta almost killed 70% of the world's population. She took on three Emperor crews, two Admirals with a fleet backed by Vice-Admirals, a Supernova, and two Emperors at their maximum power at the same time all while she was succumbing to the poison. Uta used people's sleeping bodies as puppets, used her invincible powers in the dream she created, and resummoned Tot Musica both in her dream and reality just so that she died on her terms. However, Shanks convinced a barely alive Uta to free everybody upon destroying Tot Musica with Luffy's help. Uta did so with her final song, before dying peacefully by those she called her family. Most do not harbor any resentment toward Uta after that incident, as her music is still beloved even by those who tried to directly stop her. Now that Uta has been brought to the Pantheon, she admits that it is a bit awkward considering the entire circumstances and admittedly, still wants a world of peace that she fought to the end for. That said, she is happy at the moment spreading as much joy as she could to others without needing to bring the apocalypse.
Uta: Luffy!Luffy: Yeah?Uta: If you become King of the Pirates, you better not be so strong that you can beat me at racing instantly!Luffy: Sure. But I'll beat you in the race since you suck at racing anyway!Uta: Nu-huh.Luffy: Yu-huh!
Sanji kicks Luffy in the head.Luffy: Ow. That said, she is happy at the moment spreading as much joy as she could to others without needing to bring the apocalypse.
- Considering her status as the daughter of Shanks, many pirates want to capture Uta despite her popularity. Big Mom sent her children after Uta during her big concert when Luffy wisely decided to yell out her parentage to the entire planet. Kaido and Blackbeard on potentially using Uta as leverage against a dreaded rival of theirs. That being said, these attempts at her kidnapping are seldom seen as Uta almost instantly annihilates all of her opponents just by singing. They all become unconscious the moment she says anything, and she proceeds to beat them mercilessly in her Virtual World. If an Emperor was not exempt from her spell, then nobody can be quite honest. After imprisoning the pirates she defeated, Uta would tell them to reconsider their pirate lifestyles and will only free them if they leave their lives of crimes. She hates pirates and believes that they are the root of conflict, so she would prefer if pirates just disappear entirely. When Uta sleeps though, her hold on others ceases and they wake up, so it only takes a matter of time for them to be free. Her skills brought the fear that if Uta tried to come after them or learned the almighty Haki in the process, then the Emperors may genuinely conspire with each other to stop her when her grand ambitions target them. For that reason, nobody has tried to go after Uta after seeing what happened to those who tried. The World Government did not want to mess with her even if it means letting a person who harmed a Celestial Dragon go free. All of them could try to find ways to keep her from singing, though the risk is just too high to be worth the effort.
- When it comes to her friendship with a certain Monkey D. Luffy, Uta's relationship with him is almost if not on par with his relationship with his brothers. It was close enough that Uta would try to convince Luffy to leave the piracy life when meeting him again at that concert, being forced to fight him when it became clear that he was as adamant about his goals as Uta was with hers. Funny enough, Uta traveled with Shanks despite being a child, something that Luffy initially desired only for Shanks to reject him. This is a factor in their competitive dynamic, especially when it comes to racing with each other with ridiculous stipulations (who brings a bull to a race?) There are many people though who read into their relationship to be much deeper than just being like siblings, whether they are aware of it or not. Thank goodness that a certain Warlord of the Sea was not present during Uta's concert, or her sheer jealous rage would have been enough to fight off Tot Musica itself. If the situation then wasn't so dire, Luffy would have pulled a fast one on Uta by asking her to join his crew right after she asked him to quit being a pirate.
Luffy: Wanna join my crew? It'd be fun having another musician around.Uta: Luffy, I still hate pirates.Luffy: Does that mean you hate me?Uta: Not going to lie, just a little bit.
- Uta managed to adjust to becoming a streamer quite easily as that was she was when Uta was spreading happiness to others. Except for this time, she had to buy a camera, a microphone, two monitors, a PC, and a keyboard instead of using just using a snail to broadcast herself. A person cannot imagine the hell that Uta endured trying to build a PC. Uta enjoys streaming to others by doing karaoke or just playing games as she talks to her chat, though it overwhelmed her at first. The number of unhappy voices that The Internet holds is staggering, and it made Uta more innately depressed than she already was upon seeing how much negativity the online space held. Instead of doing something drastic like trying to blow up TV Tropes, Uta has worked harder than ever to bring smiles to everyone to the power of streaming, albeit at a cost to her mind and body. This dedication to making people happy has left Uta to be constantly tired, something that she cannot help.
- Uta sees other idols as rivals to herself, although she remains kind and supportive to her fellow singers. Putting aside the darker parts of the idol industry (let alone the music industry), Uta sees that an idol intends to bring joy to a sad world. While Uta respects all idols for committing to this role, she cannot help but see that she has to be the idol that will bring happiness to everybody. Not to say that all idols are nothing compared to herself, but Uta sees that if she achieves her goal of being everybody's idol, she finds that more happiness could be achieved by having people's love centralized on her. After all, would it be better to love one thing that fulfills you completely than splitting your fulfillment through multiple things? Uta has still gone to the concerts of Hatsune Miku, 765 Pro, etcetera, to show her genuine love for them though her sentiments that to achieve her dreams means to sideline her fellow idols is always a disheartening feeling she cannot let go of.
- Doflamingo saw his sunglasses end up being worn by Uta, which led him to this ginormous pain of trying to buy off all the sunglasses that he wears so that nobody finds out they are retail products. He is a distinguished crime boss after all, so people the insinuation that this powerful man had to go to a typical store would tarnish his image. One would think this reaction is overblown but in reality, the powerful are quite insecure over these kinds of things so they do their hardest to prop their image up. Type in politicians who prop their heights with elevator shoes in photos to see this attitude on display. Not that it mattered since people noticed these sunglasses were missing and made fun of Doflamingo for spending so much money to make himself look cooler when it just makes him look lame in comparison. Uta could only note during this situation that there is a chance Doflamingo may be one of her viewers if this whole business happened before her stream ended.
Uta: Doffy, is that you in the superchat?
- Uta may be a sweetheart on the outside, but she is a cynic at heart with her belief that the world must be forced to be changed. She has seen so much suffering that is the result of conflict, so she wishes for a new status quo where suffering no longer exists. The person who is one of those who understands Uta on a fundamental level is Madara Uchiha of all people since he had a plan not just similar, but with the same goal in mind. That being said, Madara would like to point out there are many flaws with her Uta World plan compared to his own. He would applaud her for getting most of the planet into her Uta World but then, questioned how she will force human change on everyone. He had everyone under the Infinite Tsukoyomi enslaved to their separate dreams where their core desires are met, resulting in a world without conflict. All she did was plop everybody to a place, then expected that they will live a happier life in her reality after she dies. Madara had to point out that she never changed their nature, so if her plan went through, the result is that most of the world's population are trapped in a replica of the real world except they cannot die and that a good percentage of the planet did not join them. It is a new status quo but what she desires remains to be fulfilled. Uta, the only person who could control the world to not end up reverting to suffering, would clearly not be there long enough to accomplish her goal. The point is, at least Madara Uchiha managed to successfully stop conflict across the world for as brief as that was.
Uta: Huh. I never really thought of it that way.Madara: You honestly expected that nobody would fight anymore once you dropped them into a replica of the world?Uta: Pretty much.Madara: And you thought you could accomplish it as you're being overdosed on mushrooms?Uta: I could have done a lot before I died. Let's say... imprison all the bad people as musical notes.Madara: Have you thought if you did, your musical score would just disappear once you've inevitably died?Uta: Hmm. Also didn't think it that way.Madara: Why are you like this?
- Takuto Maruki had a similar plan as Uta when it came to stopping human suffering by creating a world where suffering no longers exists, even if it meant regressing human growth in the process. Uta heard Maruki talk to her about his old grand plan before the Phantom Thieves of Hearts changed him to no longer have these ambitions. Honestly, if Uta knew more about how to manipulate her dreamland, she would model it similarly to Maruki's idea of paradise. Except for the field with half-naked people, that was a weird thing this taxi driver brought up. On the Phantom Thieves' side, they are a little bit terrified of Uta if she could just drag countless amount of people into her realm where she reigns supreme. To make sure Uta does not become another Maruki, the Phantom Thieves resolved to be friends with Uta to keep a close eye on her. How they managed to befriend Uta was to using Maruki, her most used taxi driver, as the connection then impressed her with their dancing skills. Or at least Joker danced crazily for the sake of everybody. Thank goodness Uta is more accepting than the average person out there.
- Obito Uchiha has earned the pity of Uta upon knowing that the main reason why he became so messed up was from his trauma and wanting to live in a world where he can be with his friends. As a result of Obito's desires, he has been vulnerable to being manipulated by others just so that he could live a happier life. Although Uta cannot stand a moral high ground against Obito or his manipulators (she is friends with one of them) since she manipulated millions herself, she knows it must be painful for him due to his bloodline having so much love within themselves. So Uta told Obito that she will help him get the happier life he desired, no matter what. Her Determined Expression in this assertion startled Obito with how intense they were, being akin to his own furious desire to change the world. He had to tell her that he was perfectly okay where he was now so that Uta wouldn't do something that would not end well for anybody. Obito just hopes that if Uta does go off the deep end, he could teleport out of her dream with Kamui if she puts him under a spell. Though that might mean finding a sleeping version of himself which... yeah, that scenario sounds too complex to worry about now.
- Melkor was angered at how Uta is beloved as an idol, believing that all her appeal revolved around being a more mainstream pop version of Japanese singer Ado. Uta does not make bad music as Melkor would admit, but he cannot comprehend that Uta's humanitarian efforts and cheery charisma are what draw people to her. So to prove that she is not that great, Melkor challenged Uta to a singing competition of her Signature Song "New Genesis" all things to take her down a peg. Everyone was flabbergasted Melkor would think this was the best way to discredit someone, though Uta accepted the challenge nevertheless. Everybody from the concert's audience to Melkor's allies never thought anybody could outshine Uta's exhilarating performance, but Melkor laughed evilly before taking the mic. Melkor's singing "New Genesis" caught everybody off guard by how beautiful his singing was, surpassing Uta or anybody's skills by a long shot. Nobody thought he would have a voice of an angel... until one remembers that Melkor WAS an angel whose Start of Darkness began when he tried to outshine his creator's melody with his own. When Melkor's song ended, leaving the audience in Stunned Silence, the first person who clapped was a crying Uta who was touched by Melkor's song. Soon, claps filled the entire concert, leaving Melkor confused as everyone was supposed to wallow in horror for beating their idol in this concert. When Uta placed the winner's medal around his neck, Melkor had the most disdainful expression he could make. He won, though he could tell his fellow Valar were laughing wherever they were watching from much to his annoyance. He may have wanted to be recognized for his music forever ago but being recognized now was not as fulfilling as Melkor would have wanted it to be.
- Uta has met up with Madoka Kaname in a dream way before meeting her properly in the Pantheon, as Madoka thought Uta was a Magical Girl thanks to her Devil Fruit powers. Where they met was a dream before Uta fatefully arrived at Elgia, so it took a meeting with Madoka in the Pantheon again to remember that. Madoka watched Tot Musica overtake Uta and was not able to do anything about it. When asked why Madoka why did she look way younger instead of the goddess of her dreams, Madoka had to explain how her possessive friend took her goddess powers in the interim of Uta growing up, explaining why Madoka never showed up again to Uta until now. Hearing about Homura Akemi, Uta went to find Homura much to the horror of Madoka. Instead of things going badly though, Uta gave Homura The Glomp, saying that she understands Homura on wanting to protect others. Homura had to awkwardly hug back when an amused Madoka had to nonverbally tell Homura that there was no escaping from this. Uta could have solely taken Madoka's side on this, though she would pursue a more simplistic mindset of being friends with both. Homura and Madoka would say that ironically makes things more complicated.
- Spongebob Squarepants had one of those times where he wanders into other people's dreams. He managed to enter Uta World while Uta was still awake, leaving the idol confused about how this sea creature could do so. Spongebob just shrugged, saying weird stuff happens to him a lot. The two started talking to each other soon after, with Uta laughing her butt off over stories that Spongebob tells her about the things he has done in his life. The quotes, "SOILED IT" and "Let's get rid of that dividend tax" will live free in her head for the rest of her life. She would want to visit Spongebob one day instead of him visiting her once in a while, though his pineapple being under the sea would ensure that would be very difficult for the obvious Devil Fruit related reasons why.
- Nagato is one of the few people that Uta is iffy on, which is odd considering how much she puts on faith in the goodness of people. Her conflicting feelings come from that Nagato is he is similar to her in wanting to bring a better world through any means necessary. She would call it a noble goal but Nagato's former idea of peace is to create disasters that would fearmonger the world to prevent international conflict by bringing annual disasters. It is peace but Uta would like to point out that pain is still being seen, while her solution is meant to eliminate pain in its entirety. Though he abandoned this plan, Nagato still sticks to his ideals and called Uta too naive to understand that pain leads to growth. Without pain, people cannot become better people and thus, bring about a world with less pain. Uta pointed out that is some misguided logic because what does it matter for a world with less pain if the pain did not need to exist in the first place, comparing it to breaking someone's arm to affirm to not do things that break their arm. Nagato would contest to Uta that a world without the pain that she desires would just leave people unaware of consequences, bringing more pain in the process. This philosophical battle is not what Uta prepared for, but she is willing to defend her ideals to the bitter end against someone who is equally as convinced of his dream as she is of hers.
- Yuno Gasai is open about how unhinged her obsession with protecting her love is and Uta finds some good common ground with Yuno because Uta is similarly unhinged too. The difference between Yuno and Uta is that Uta is more protective over everyone who is suffering as a result of the world around them than a sole person and Uta does a way better job at hiding this from others. Yuno presented Uta with a knife, asking that if she (Yuno) was going to cause so many people to suffer, would she kill her then and there? Yuno expected Uta to ponder on this more, though did not expect Uta to point the knife an inch against her eyeball. Uta then said that yes, she would stab Yuno in the face if it meant helping others, though would do her best in making sure that nobody gets hurt first. Giving back the knife to her with the same friendly smile, Yuno realized that this girl was more dangerous than she could currently comprehend. It would be better to be friends with Uta than to piss her off.
- Sengoku has always been interested in Devil Fruits of how powerful they were and seeing how overpowered Uta's Devil Fruit was finally was what broke it to him that he needed to see if he can replicate Devil Fruits. Sengoku would have based his research on a certain World Government scientist though trying to find that research was like trying to snatch documents from a national leader's hands. It may be more difficult considering Sengoku could not find a villa to bedlam the Devil Fruit from. Sengoku would delve into the Black Market to see if a Devil Fruit was there but had no luck. Sengoku decided to do the simpler thing of asking Uta herself if he could analyze her. Uta must have thought he was a pervert, so she politely declined his advances. She might be welcoming but she isn't dumb, unlike a certain Monkey. Sengoku would frustratedly ask her again to analyze her whenever he could, being forced to wait in one of those hand-shaking lines unhappily.
Uta: You are Professor... Duke?Sengoku: Professor Sengoku.Uta: Professor Duke sounds like a cooler name.Sengoku: Yes, it does. I'm going to ask again if-Sanji: Get out of the line, it's my turn to shake her hand!Sanji kicks Sengoku out of the way.
- Ysera watched Uta since she gained her Devil Fruit powers, meaning that she has been observing the singer for almost her entire life. Obviously, it is due to being the guardian of the Emerald Dream and thus, could reach the dreams of others. Since Uta's dreamland exists even as she is awake, Ysera could go and visit anytime. The reason for Ysera trying to foster a mentor role to Uta is because Ysera sees Uta as her potential future replacement to guard the Emerald Dream. The dragon would admit that it is very manipulative on her end, and would never admit to potentially letting Uta go through her grand plan to see the extent of her capabilities. Uta likes Ysera enough though there is always that nagging feeling that she's being used.
- Merlina shares Uta's ideals of making a better world though even she is disturbed by how unhinged Uta became with her plan that involved trapping everyone's souls eternally when they all die. She would have been on board with that idea long ago, though has left it all in the past. She asked Uta if she would do her plan again since Uta has a lot of trust from the public even now, concerned with how popular her friend became. Uta said no since she wants to prove to herself that she can help people regularly before attempting to do something as ginormous as that. When a terrified Merlina asked what exactly would be ginormous as almost killing everyone on the planet, Uta said she had a couple of ideas. Uta managed to change the subject and asked Merlina if she would like to be an idol since the mage looks cute enough to fill that role. Merlina wisely answered no.
- Santa Claus has earned Uta's admiration for being the symbol of spreading joy to others on a holiday that surely everyone on the planet celebrates and definitely didn't ban Christmas. It got to the point that Uta wanted to become like Santa to others, dressing up as Santa along the way. As much as her fans begged for her to wear a more exposed version of the outfit, Uta needed to wear something for the cold (she did allow the leggings off to make them happy). That said, what Uta did not expect was to see reindeer flying through the sky in one of her outdoor streams.
Chopper: Even when I'm flying... I'm still a raccoon dog to everyone...
- Junko Enoshima seeing how happy everybody is when Uta is around, really thought bringing Uta to despair would surely bring despair to everybody else. Melkor warned Junko that this was going to backfire, shaking his winner's medal to emphasize the point. As with most of his minions, Junko ignored Melkor and proceeded to try bobaring Uta's stream with the most delirious spiteful comments out there against her character and her singing through bots. When Uta responded to the antis accounts, she replied that no matter what she would do her best in making all of them happy by improving herself. This got Junko so tilted that she typed with her real account why was Uta not falling to despair at all. Uta kindly answered that she is already in despair for all those suffering around her and her inability to help everybody out there. Instead of sulking, she chose to instead do her best in living her life than retreat to a hole. Junko and other critics' words are what Uta considers, though nothing good will comes from trying to mold herself to be what she's not. She is going to live her life on her own terms, no matter who hates her for it. The sheer failure of her plan made Junko fall into her despair herself, a thing that she welcomed wholeheartedly. Junko eventually got back at Uta in another way, not by trying to take her down but by tricking the innocent Uta to fall into a trap of her creation that could hopefully bring Uta to despair. It didn't but it did inconvenience her.
Uta: Let's spotlight places where you can find my viewers watching. Latveria, Gameron, Khura'in, Canada, Dressrosa, Alabasta, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Ta-Uta's channel has been suspended for two weeks.
- Some of the Beasts of Humanity have gained Uta's admiration both from herself and from themselves. Though the Beasts of Humanity are built to be the literal enemies of humanity's existence, she cannot help but feel that they're much kinder than they let on. The Beasts genuinely have the benevolent goal of helping humanity but their horrific solutions are what makes them dangerous threats. Uta believes in their resolve and thinks that if they could be changed so that they are not as genocidal as their nature has them be, then the Beasts can coexist with humans happily. Not to say Uta is wrong on being able to have beasts change as there have been several Beasts already who have been swayed to fight for humanity, albeit with most sacrificing their Beast titles to do so.
- Kiara Sessyoin who was a Beast became friends with Uta since like the nun herself, Uta desires a world where humanity loves each other instead of infighting. That said, Kiara Sessyoin wants every human to participate in an orgy, so her and Uta's definitions of an ideal world are different. Sessyoin thinks Uta can accomplish those dreams if she uses her Devil Fruit (Sessyoin called it a Reality Marble) powers correctly. Her manipulations for Uta are, fortunately, not being followed by the busy Uta which is testing Sessyoin's patience at this point.
- Goetia has nothing but admiration for Uta wanting to make the world a better place for all creatures. That being said, his nature has to make her look down on Uta simultaneously for what he sees as her being too weak mentally to truly bring herself to kill many. He would want to take her Devil Fruit power for himself if that was the case but that would mean having to jump universes using Second Magic to find her Devil Fruit if he kills her. It was already tough to get one timeline in check with an elaborate scheme, so hunting around the ocean for a fruit that gives him a power lesser than his current abilities is asking too much.
- Uta treats the Beast Tiamat with the same love Tiamat desires from all of her children, except it has to be at distance. Why Uta sees Tiamat in such a light because Uta thinks she is just a mom who coddles her kids too much. Coddling them enough to turn them into abominations, but it is the thought that counts. It could also be that Uta sees Tiamat as a potential maternal figure to look up to after being strapped with multiple paternal figures. But Uta would admit her expectations of Tiamat will probably never be met considering what Tiamat is like. It makes her sad though at least she has her other family who could meet up that affection Uta values.
Shanks: What's wrong with having two dads?Uta: Custody.
- Vanitas has been hoping that Uta one day would summon Tot Musica again. Considering that Tot Musica is a culmination of humanity's negative emotions, harnessing its power will be something Vanitas will be interested in. Vanitas can imagine himself now, towering over everyone with his newfound powers, utterly annihilating everyone in his way. The thought alone makes him just want to kidnap Uta so that she could resummon Tot Musica. The issue for him is that by all accounts, Tot Musica is dead, destroyed by Monkey D. Luffy and Shanks together. This would deter anybody but like the heroes he's faced, Vanitas holds hope to a high standard. He believes that Uta can manifest Tot Musica again and is planning to have it emerge under the right circumstances. He cannot just make Uta sing as he does not know the exact mechanics of Tot Musica's summoning himself. His research on this subject has managed to reach the Straw Hats' ears, who surely do not want Uta to be caught in the mess Vanitas would like to make.
- Perfect Trumpet Thingy has shown in Uta's dreams every other week and this is one of the few times Uta lacks tolerance for anything. All that thing does is just say, "You're not perfect," once then completely ruins Uta's sleep by smacking her awake. She admits that she has self-confidence issues but the only thing the Perfect Trumpet Thingy does is remind Uta that she has these issues. She meets with a therapist but it still shows up in her dreams, making her feel like her mental health isn't bettering itself. It got to the point that she will not allow the Perfect Trumpet Thingy to finish its sentence before Uta begins swinging a spear at it. Too bad for her that the moment she strikes the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, she wakes up instantly. Whatever that creature is, it must be stronger than she originally thought considering how she cannot get rid of it.

for Flipper and Uta.
And for the sake of an announcement, I'm officially putting up Rahab and the Flay Cave up for adoption. I'm starting to think that I do better with profiles that don't need that much interactions, or at the very least are shorter and simpler to do in content. And these two particular profiles are getting too large for me to comprehend anymore. So, if anyone has interest in these two, please don't hesitate to adopt them. Here's my sandbox for the profiles.
With those two profiles going into adoption, that frees up my current ascension list for these two characters I've planned to propose, now that they should be free of Hype Prevention-
- The Wolf, God of Sinister Whistling
- Reasoning: Throughout the movie, the Wolf always announced his presence by whistling a distinct and eerie tune that makes everyone who hears it get on-edge, with Puss in Boots especially becoming filled with fear from the whistling after his first encounter with the Wolf. The Wolf is also a very sinister character who whistles to intimidate his target, taking joy in the smell of their fear.
- Kitty Softpaws, Goddess of Impossible Theft
- Reasoning: Kitty Softpaws is a literal cat burglar who is able to steal anything from anyone without them noticing, which she demonstrated throughout Puss In Boots by taking the titular hero's hat, boots, and a bag of money he hid within his boots while he was still wearing them. All thefts done within the blink of an eye and Puss not even realizing until after Kitty flaunts her thievery right in front of him.
