Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Vigilante sounds much better than Heathcliff.

You know what? One more proposal attempt for Mandela Catalogue's most well known human.

Mark Heathcliff, God of Being Followed By Evil To Your Safest Place

Reasoning: After Mark sets up cameras at Cesar's house, who, unbeknownst to him is an Alternate. It seems like all is said and done, he got in and out without dealing with whatever was inside making him scared of Cesar's house. Nope. In the camera footage, it is shown that the Alternate walks right out and follows Mark home. Two, actually. N and "Cesar". N attempts to ambush Mark in his room while the lights are off, and "Cesar" keeps Mark cornered for days. So now he became the one dealing with Alternates.

So he, quite literally, is followed by trouble.

[up]Wouldn't Trouble Follows You Home be better off with the eponymous The Warriors? For those who don't know, the Warriors are a titular gang that are known for protecting the streets until they were framed for a murder they did not commit and are forced to fight their way from New York City to their home in Coney Island. Ultimately they did go home but are forced to deal with the gang that set them up, and at the end, the gang are as fractured as ever, meaning their escape from murder did not spare the Warriors anything good in the long run.

Could I ask for one last approval for Friede and Ariandel? I want to finish the profile to prepare for Hikaru and Kanon.

[up][up] [tup] for Mark.

As for The Warriors, there are two particular tropes that work with them just as well if not better: Run the Gauntlet and Trapped Behind Enemy Lines. Since they're a gang that is forced to travel through the territories of just about every New York rival gang (and the cops) in order to get home in the first place, and fight them all off in the process due to a kill order being placed on them (and general territorial hostility)

Anyone else wanna comment on Liberty Prime? To give more context, Prime was a pre-war superweapon that was programmed to be as patriotic as possible so as to boost solider morale, which persisted long after the world was plunged into the apocalypse. As a result, damn near everything out of his mouth is American propaganda and communist slander in some way, and he's not very subtle about it.

I have a rework of my own in mind for later. What do you think?

  • King Richard The Third, God of Vilified Historical Figures: Richard III's current profile is underdeveloped and many of the paragraphs are only 1-3 sentences long. I want to rectify that. Richard the Third was the king who lost the war against the Tudors, and for centuries many see him as the villain. Famously Shakespeare interpreted him as a Complete Monster and the idea he was a backstabbing schemer who killed his nephews has stuck. Even as more people have come to his defense the rumor he had a hand in his nephews vanishing from history remains. Shakespeare and Thomas More made his negative rep partly because they lived in the Tudor age

Just for fun, but I'd also be interested if tropers from around the world find something for characters from nations without a representation in the Trope Pantheon. Like, for instance, Estonian Media

Trapped Behind Enemy Lines would be good for the Ten Thousand of the Anabasis, which coincidentally, The Warriors is loosely based off of (with some character names and events taken from it for good measure). Frankly, whichever the main characters of The Warriors get, the Ten Thousand get the other, so pick whichever you want. You could have them for a high priest though.

[up][up] I would most certainly entertain myself in getting someone from a Pakistani Work into the Pantheon, but considering most Pakistani Dramas are soaps (something I'm not really interested in) and there isn't even a Pakistani Media pagenote  (though there's this TLP draft), I'm not sure if I would find enough time and motivation to do so.

@Cardboard — [tup] for Mark.

@Dood — [tup] for Liberty Prime.

@RJ — [tup] for reworking Richard III.

Happy Halloween mates. Just make sure you have a good bowl of candy, wear a dapper costume, and be wary of some random Psycho Knife Nut if you see onenote .

Anyway, I wanted to find a trope for Jay Height and "It"note , but considering the premature suggestion for Vigilante, I guess I'll have to halt that for now, which is a bummer, considering today is Halloween.

That aside, here's a reworking beta draft for Rexy the Tyrannosaurus. While there's not a lot to explore about her, there are still going to be some specific suggestions. Outside of dinosaurs that she could bond, terrify, fight, and compete against, any creatures who were theme park attractions, anyone who's interested in or is a member of a theme park, any dinosaur enthusiasts, non-dinosaurian apex predators she could fight against, hunters and poachers who want to capture/kill her for their own means, and anyone who would try to take care and look out for her whilst being wary of her nature as a fearsome carnivore.

  • Rexy was a female Tyrannosaurus born on Isla Sorna in 1988 via genetic engineering and cloning by InGen. She was looked after in captivity by InGen workers for a few years before she grew into an adult, after which she was scheduled to be transported to Isla Nublar to be the star attraction for a theme park called Jurassic Park. Unfortunately, due to the sinister schemes concocted by rival company Biosyn to steal dinosaur embryos, the power went off during an inspection tour, Rexy broke out of her exhibit before confronting and attacking a truck, signifying the downfall of the park. From there, the Tyrannosaurus proceeded to become the apex predator of the island, though she would unwittingly aid the surviving visitors by killing a Velociraptor pair in the Visitor Center. She reigned the island for a couple of years before she was recaptured by InGen security to be transported to another exhibit, the T. rex Kingdom for a new theme park, Jurassic World, continuing to be a star attraction for a mass audience. Though she was initially uninvolved in Jurassic World's downfall, Rexy was released by Claire Dearing and Lowery Cruthers, with Claire leading her to the Indominus Rex. Despite almost dying, Rexy managed to prevail in this grueling fight thanks to a Velociraptor named Blue and once again became the dominant predator of Isla Nublar.
    • Three years after being set free again, Rexy and the other dinosaurs were under threat by an active Mt. Sibo. She was rescued by Owen Grady, Claire, the Dinosaur Protection Group, and the crew of the Arcadia, though the crew of the Arcadia, led by Eli Mills and fronted by Ken Wheatley intended for Rexy and the captured dinosaurs to be sold off in auctions consisting of amoral rich people who wanted to keep and use them for their own ends. She would be freed from captivity and roam the wilderness of Oregon and California before getting captured by the Department of Fish and Wildlife and being placed in a sanctuary built by Biosyn to thrive in. Regardless, the sanctuary failed thanks to CEO Lewis Dodgson's impulsiveness, causing the dinosaurs to go out free again. In the midst of this, Rexy battles a rival Giganotosaurus, winning thanks to the effort of a Therizinosaurus and continuing to live her life as an apex predator, free from being constantly searched and supervised by others and being a park attraction. That, and she meets a Tyrannosaurus pair in the abandoned sanctuary, finally meeting members of her own kind after decades.
  • Unlike most dinosaurs, any accounts of how and when Rexy ascended into the Pantheon remain a mystery. That said, what is acknowledged is that there are reports of early sightings and encounters of the Tyrannosaurus, such as one where she was sleeping under a tree shade, drinking from a gentle river stream, and letting out a loud roar towards a group of people whom she felt were trespassing in her territory. Outside of more primordial beings like Godzilla, Rexy is one of the first dinosaurs in the Pantheon to be recognized and was one of the first deities acknowledged by and inducted into the House of Beasts and Fauna. Of course, she wasn't there for a formal induction, instead just trotting through a forest doing a small exercise. She did eventually reach her domain, which was a mix of her natural habitat and her T. rex Kingdom exhibit, and felt cozy sleeping there as well as bringing fresh kills there so she could eat without interruption. Many have noted that for such a grand and majestic animal, Rexy doesn't care too much about the Pantheon and would rather lead a normal, predatory life. And as far as her story has shown, it's best to let her lead her own way of life.
  • Rexy is one of the most famous and beloved dinosaurs in the Pantheon, which obviously comes in the territory of being a Tyrannosaurus and one of the most famed exhibitions for two theme parks. That said, while well-respected, Rexy is a predator, and would likely register most animals as prey, so everyone knows it's best to simply keep their distance from her. While an extremely dangerous predator, she only hunts when necessary and would rather roar viciously toward intruders than pursue them for a pointless meal, so she's thankfully not too much of a threat. And finally, she's one of the older and more powerful dinosaurs, having decades of experience as well as being capable of fighting all sorts of animals if she has to. Of course, having the most powerful bite out of any terrestrial animal makes you a force to be reckoned with, plus she's actually quite intelligent for a dinosaur, so it's best not to mess around or antagonize her.

I know its kinda Canon now, but how it translate here, I have a good knowledge about Danganronpa and Doko Doki Literature Club, but I'm mostly 50/50 with Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL so I'm insterested about what do you guys think they'll interact between eachother.]

  • Long ago, two races ruled the Earth, Humans and Monsters the two races lived in harmony until the Humans started to become paranoid about the power of the monsters, by themself the monsters were weak barely capabbles of beating a adult Human in a fight, but should a Monster absorb a Human SOUL then it would turn into a being of absolute power, fearful of this possibility the Humans attacked the Monsters and after a ''War'' the Humans sealed the monsters under M.T Ebott with a magical barrier that only can be destroyed with the power of seven Human Souls. After thounsands of years and many tragedies, the King of Monsters Asgore Dreemurr would install a policy of killing any Human who fall, eventually he would collect six of the seven Souls, with the last Human to fall to the Underground bein a mysterius child named Frisk with almost all monster being after their Soul. What happens next is up to the Player, wheter they just want to escape ignoring the problems of others, helping the monsters to become better persons while freeing them and stopping a potential war from ever ocurring, or simply killing everyone and everything they come across become a bigger threat to all living things and eventually destroying the world. Whatever they'll do, one thing is clear, and thats they'll Stay Determined.
  • Their ascension went unnoticed for a time, with them simply appearing in a flower patch near to the House of Nature, they wandered for a bit, helping and befriending almost every deity they came across. It was until they arrived to the Family and Relatives House of Family and reunited with Toriel, who was happy upon seeing Her child. The Court of the Gods decided to evaluete Frisk's story realizing that, unlike most other games, in Undertale players are rewarded if they're kind and befriend the monsters insted of killing them, with the best ending being only possible if they go their way to be the nicest towards everyone, with this they decided to give Frisk the title of Divine Ambassador of Rewarded Mercy. Soon enough, the rest of Undertale Deities heard of the news and decided to throw up a party with all of their friends, who were glad of seeing them again Including Flowey
    • Sadly their good moments didn't last long. In an explosion of pink smoke three figures attacked the party and quickly rushed towards Frisk, before they did something terrible to the child Toriel, Sans and Undyne maneged repel the attack, after the smoke dissipated, the culprits rebelled themself as Bête Noire, B.B Hood and Mina Loveberry a trio of psychopatic womens who hated all kinds of monsters and also those who allied or helped one, before they maneged to kill someone the Kamen Riders Kuuga, Ex-Aid, Gaim and Fourze maneged to defeat them forcing the trio to flee, not before swearing revenge. Of the trio it was Bête who had the bigger grudge against Frisk, since she was from an Alternate Universe derived from theirs, and also being dead set on her mission to destroy all monster regarldless of consequences, while also being a threat so big that the Frisk of that world needed to remplace Himself with Chara just to have an opportunitie agaisnt Her. For these reasons, and because She's more or less the soul of Her creator possesing a corpse, Frisk sees Bête as one of the few Deities they genuily hate, the same can be said for her ally B.B Hood.
    • With Mina however, Frisk feels a bit of pity since she was indoctrinated and experimented on, just to be the perfect soldier, with the hundreds of years she lived destroying any semblace of sanity, while Frisk knows that Mina is far too gone to listen, they had the small hope of one day maybe seeing her as the peasant girl she once was, but alas all of their attempts to convince Mina to stop ended up on a total failure, with Mina exppresing Her intend to kill Frisk and all of their friends.
  • Wandering through the Pantheon, Frisk met their first new friends within Iji Kataiser, Wander and Oboromaru, the three of them being pacifists who maneged to stay firm to their beliefs even when the whole world said the oppositive, Frisk is particularly close with Wander, since His biggest challenge was a Psychopatic Womanchild who almost destroyed the whole galaxy For the Evulz, and even the Wander was willing to forgive Her. Meanwhile all of them are impressed with the child, with Iji even joking that She should learn from Frisk, since she is just a Technical Pacifist while Frisk can complete their adventure whitout a single fight. Frisk also can't help but feel a huge sense of familiarity for Oboromaru's own adventure with both of them thinking that somehow theirs actions helped the other to complete eachother's.
    • Others pacifist like Avatar Aang and Avatar Korra, were also proud of how someone as young as Frisk maneged to help so many people, helping them to change for the better and overcoming a world that almost destroyed itself with a pointless war. Frisk, for their part, has commended Aang for finding an alternate solution to stop Ozai, even when everyone else told Him otherwise, and Korra for how much she matured through Her Story. Meeting Aang also helped Frisk meet Zuko who used to be a villain until Character Development kicked in, making Zuko change for the better, Frisk also met Iroh and the two maneged to get along almost instantly, with Iroh inviting Frisk to drink Tea someday alongside Asgore, and sometimes Undyne.
  • A common assumtion that many Deities have would be assuming the child is a Suicidal Pacifist that wouldn't do anything in the face of danger, this however is a common mistake. While Frisk IS a pacifist they also are willing to fight agaisnt some enemies that simply wont accept mercy as long as they're never hurt in a lethal way, this has attracted the attention of many heroes like Superman, The Flash and Spiderman who also prefer to talk down the enemy but more often than not finding themself having to fight, even then, they're all friends with eachother. On a sour note they also warned the child of their worst enemies with Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash and Cletus Kasady/Carnage, villains so evil that they'll NEVER turn good, turning both of them into one of the few figures Frisk really hates, they in the other hand have expressed insterest in the world of Undertale, but for differents motives with Thawne being impressed with the power that DETERMINATION gives over the timeline, thinking of Frisk as a fool for ''wasting'' it in helping others, while Carnage sees the Underground as a easy target since the Monsters of Undertale are weak towards people with big Killing Intent, and He has a lot of it.
  • Probably their biggest allies are The Chosen Four, with all of them being young children that maneged to overcome thoundsand of challenges even when it seemed impossible, especially at the ending when they maneged to defeat (Or, in Frisk case pacify) a godlike being, and, just like Oboromaru, Frisk can't help but feel a huge familiarity with them, almost like they have a similar origin, Frisk also met Lucas and after hearing his story, Frisk almost cried beliving that just like Asriel Lucas deseved a happier ending. Even after all that Frisk still thinks that both Giygas AND Porky can be reedemed, with Frisk saying that the real ones to blame being the Starmen for helping corrupt Giygas which in turn corrupted Porky. Porky for his part mocked the child for beliving he was influenced in first place.
Porky: How stupid can you be?, you seriously really tought I was corrupted and that I was a nice sweet boy in first place, seems like I was right about that Fat Sucker and his stupid pacifism after all.
  • One day when Frisk was sleeping, inside their dreams they saw a strange triangle-shaped figure, the figure presented himself as Bill Cipher and tried to tell the child that he was a friendly fellow, trapped in the mindscape and that he just wanted to be free to play friendly games, Frisk alredy having falling for Flowey attempt to their life, simply told the triangle No which angered Bill, but before he could harm the child, Frisk woke up. After that attempt Frisk came in contact with Dipper and Mabel Pines and they told Frisk exactly how dangerous Bill was, on a luckier note that ended up helping the three children to become friends with eachother, with Bill screaming in rage about how he ended up givin his biggest enemies a new ally.
  • Frisk hasn't forgotten the help that the Kamen Riders gave during the Monster Destroying Trio's attack, for that the child is grateful of the Riders admiring how, even when they figth, they still try to calm down their enemies, with Emu always prefering to find a way to help everyone even in the darkest situations, Gentarou, meanwhile is impressed by the huge amounts of friends Frisk maneged to obtain during their adventures in the Underground, with them becoming something of friendly rivals when it comes to befriending people. Yusuke and Kouta, for their part, where impressed with how Frisk decided to do the right thing at the end, using the powers of DETERMINATION to Set Right What Once Went Wrong and freeing everyone. Despite this Frisk is still kinda bummed when it comes to the monsters they fight, while understanding that those aren't as friendly as the one they know, Frisk is a bit sad on how they never have an opportunity to reedem themself, for this Frisk blame SHOCKER and others toku villains since they made those monsters without the ability to achive reedemtion.
  • Hearing about other deitiies who faced Bullet Hell battles, Frisk ended up going to [[Videogame/Touhou Gensokyo]], a world for the fantastic creatures who no longer haa place in the Outside World, thinkin it was familiar to the Underground, they ventured into the fantastical land and even maneged to befriend some youkais, eventually they met Reimu and Marisa the two persons who almost alway tend to solve the problems whenever an incident occurs, while at first they get along well, Frisk was also critical of their less than heroic qualities with Reimu being a Lazy Bum who negleted her task and Marisa being a kleptomaniac, however their biggest critisism was about how they never tried to help their enemies, simply beating them until the run away, and while Frisk knows that nobody get really hurt, they still feel that they could do much more, both girl simply told the child that thats was how things worked in Gensokyo and even when Reimu explained that she would be more than happy to live without any fights, theres nothing they can do about it.
    • Despite this, Frisk wasn't sastified and plane on talking to them again, until one day Yukari Yakumo, The Youkai of Bondaries, appered before the child to explain them how their world worked, more or less the Youkais NEEDS to have and cause problems to humans while the Humans NEEDS to fear the youkais, otherwise if everyone where to get along, the youkais would disappear, Frisk understanding this simply retired on good terms, thanking Yukari for the explanation. However during their visit, Frisk ended up meeting Byakuren Hijiri, a Buddhist Nun who traid in the past to help both youkais and humans to coexist, only for the humans to seal her beliving Byakuren to be a traitor for becoming a youkai, despite this Byakuren still tries to find a way to help both species to live in harmony while findin a solution to their current problems, this helped both of them to become close friends with eachothers, with Frisk being reminded of Toriel, thanks to Byakuren being kind and always willing to accepts any youkais to join her temple, and Byakuren admiring how Frisk maneged to become a moral anchor towards the of the Underground.
    • However not all resulted in being so nice, Seija Kijin for example is a Trollish anmanojaku who desires nothing more than simply cause chaos and discord among the inhabitants to the point when they organized a manhunt agaisnt her, Frisk at first tried to talk to Seija hoping to reedem her only for Seija to mock the child attempts and doing pranks on them, with her explainig how she actually loved being disliked by everyone and hating the idea of forming genuine friendship. But atleast that was better than Junko a woman so comsumed by her own hatred towards Hou'yi for killing her child that she organized a plan to kill Hou'yi wife Chang'e despite her not having anything to do with that, Frisk being reminded of Asgore, tried to reasonate with Junko only for her to ignore the child since she used her own powers to transform into the Physical Incarnation of Hatred, this sadded Frisk since this means that even if Junko achieve her revenge she would still fell empty.
  • Among the people who dealed with time loops there's Angela an AI based on a woman named Carmen, who was created by Ayin, founder of Lobotomy Corporation in an attempt of realizing Carmen's dream of curing the disease of the mind that exists within all of humanity that lived in the City, to achieve this goal Ayin created a time loop where he tried countless times to fulfill this dream, doing all kinds of atrocities just to achieve it and when it seemed close, Angela betrayed him for all the years of abuse, using the Seed of Light to create the Library of Ruina. After that Angela would ende up meeting Roland a low-ranked Fixer who somehow found himself in the Library’s corridors, after their own set of conflicts Roland tried to kill Angele over the deaths of his wife and unborn child, though after a brutal fight the two would decide to bury the hatchet with Angela deciding to complete the Seed of Light for real. After knowing of all of this Frisk has decided to simply leave them alone seeing how they maneged to make peace with themself and learning of their own errors.
  • [Anime Characters, Undyne mocking Frisk since now Anime Is Real]
  • One funny aspect of the child is that they are an HUGE flirter for a kid their age, this attracted the attention of Johnny Bravo who thought of Frisk attempt to flirt with almost every monster were Actually Pretty Funny, ironically Frisk may be a better Casanova than Johnny, who's attempts almost always end in failure. Despite this Frisk sees Johnny as a friend despite him being sometimes annoying, since Johnny tends to be a pretty good friend. They even had a flirting competition and the one who didn't ended with a slap in the face wins, Frisk won.

Going to suggest something from a horror film since its in the spooky day.

Brand X, Unholy Generic Brand Products

I told you it was from a horror film.

So Brand X is this Nazi-esque army that assassinate corporate brand mascots to replace it with their actually poisonous generic brands in the supermarkets. In a movie hellbent on showcasing that Brand Names Are Better, having generic brands as the villain feels the most appropriate for this title.

And yes, this is not a prank suggestion here.

Wow, so no one even bothered to consider Heroman for American Robot? Well you know what fine. Here is a counter-suggestion for Liberty Prime

  • Joey Jones from Heroman for American Robot. The plot revolves around a generic American state in Center City, West Coast, where a generic American known as Joey Jones who is living a standard life while society starts advancing in robotics, for those with money anyway. When one of the people who bullies him loses his robot, Joey decides to take it and repair it, which is then struck by lightning to become a Humongous Mecha with Joey able to pilot it. Thus, dubbing it as "Heroman"

@Dood Slayer 136 [tup] for Liberty Prime.

@Gehayadren, gonna be honest, while I have the greatest respect for Stan Lee, the fact that he helped write the manga doesn't give any further validation. Plus Bethesda is an American Gaming company and the setting also takes place in America.

[up][up]That's just hyprocritical isn't it. You say Stan Lee's involvement is not a justification, yet you say Bethesda itself is justification to pick Liberty Prime over Heroman.

I ask for honesty, instead I get clear bias. This cannot be mere coincidence anymore when people are clearly voting the other because they have troper bias.

[up][up] I apologize, I wasn’t clear. I’m not saying that because Bethesda is an American Gaming Company it’s the reason why I picked Liberty Prime over Heroman, but I’m clarifying that this is why saying that Heroman was written by an American doesn’t further validate anything.

I will concede but I will say this: I find it suspicious that tropers here will suddenly jump out of the woodwork and agree on ideas I have opposed. Even r-lock commented about this about how tropers dogpile on someone they dislike personally. This makes the "we're not biased with you" pretty much bogus especially when this trend has been repeated several times throughout the thread's history.

[up] Fine, you're right, I concede to that point. Thing is, we acted this way so that you don't try to "take over" this project and conform to your rules that are subject to debate. The last time this forum had a dedicated leader, they had a power trip and then later retired. I and everybody else don't want what is essentially (go ahead and send me death threats for this), a totalitarian hierarchy whose leader is a gatekeeper and they decided a franchise is bad simply because of one bad title.

Hey you, what's up man? Give me money, please!

See, I was right. It was a coordinated effort. It isn't because of lack of bias or that the idea is worth pursuing but because of an effort with the rest of the tropers (probably on your discords). This dogpile mindset is what is creating this bizarre thoughts about leadership and whatnot, and has ironically shown bias between a set of tropers towards one they heavily dislike, under the guise of "avoiding leadership". It is dishonest plain and simple.

You want to know why I suggested Heroman? Fallout, strictly speaking, has fourteen profiles, discounting Doods' other suggestion of New Vegas' Kings. It was never about 76, it was the fact that it is already one franchise with a decent amount of profiles. There are so many older, more obscure titles that can never have the chance of being recognized, just because of what? One is popular and the other is not? That is bias already. Look at the other suggestions I made before Neuromancer, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, The Warriors and various other counter-suggestions I made. Do these media ever get a chance of being suggested? None of those ever get candidates and may as well be the only chance, otherwise its just wasted potential. Not to mention, those approvals, if what you are saying is true, is dishonest. Because really and I mean genuinely honest, do you really want Liberty Prime over Heroman? If those approvals were just because of "This troper is possibly stirring up trouble, lets approve the other idea to stop him", then is that honesty or what?

And you know what, that constant assumption of "this troper we dislike will turn into a totalitarian leader" is pure bullshit. I never asked to be a leader in the first place. You know what I want, just my profiles to be left alone. I have not touched any of your profiles and I ask for the same to be done to mine. I mean again, rlock and wootzits' profiles have not been touched so why is mine under subject of scrutiny. I did not even edit yours so why put mine. I can't even ask for neutrality. Fine, I may be a gatekeeper, but I am a gatekeeper to my profiles and my sandbox, that is it.

This, combined with this notion of thinking that I want to usurp the project, is the biggest most dishonest bullshit I have ever seen in this thread's lifespan. Its like the Pantheon has a grudge against me because of my criticism, be it certain franchise bias, the Grand United Alliances and others. I am blunt and honest of my ideas (even if it comes out as condescending), yet the Pantheon shares not the same. Criticism is important, no improvement will come from attempting to silence critical thought and continuously attempting to do so will create a worse hugbox that tries very hard to appealing to many and resulting in no one being pleased. Its why I feel like being a whistleblower because so much of my thoughts and suggestions are plainly ignored because "this contributor is bad news". Well guess what, what you are doing is irony in of itself. You say I am being totalitarian, yet your actions speak of dismissal of criticism. You say I am biased, yet you have ignored potential candidates. You speak of hierarchy, yet you imposed it in your discords. I even made criticism of the Pantheon and the case of double standards, yet everyone continued to double down in it.

And for the record, just because I am vindicated by what I said does not mean I am happy with it. It is less of "hah, told you I am right" and more of "Christ, is the Pantheon going to learn from their mistakes?". How many lectures of hype prevention, less established titles over mainstream and quality control do I need to make just so that the Pantheon can at the very least improve.

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!
