Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

"Nice Hat" has been turned into disamig trope and needs to be dewicked. Linkara currently holds the trope, so I have no idea if he can get another trope or is he doomed.

@Excessive-Menace

Okay, I'll concede, I'll move him to the Jobs house and replace links myself after I get another [tup] (and wait for a few days). I think it would be appropriate anyway to locate him in a non-killer house since that would be him less suspicions.

@TPPR 10

Linkara could take Signature Headgear as his replacement trope/title. Reason being that his hat is part of his character's identity (it's one of the things that separate Linkara from the other characters Lewis' plays and also what identifies other characters as being a variant of him), characterization (the hat gives off a nerdy impression, which Linkara definitely is) and branding (people tend to see the hat he wears especially in his thumbnails and avatar and instantly know it's from him). He also has a few costume changes and the one of the few things that remained is his glasses and same hat type.

Plus, noone has taken the trope yet as far as I know and I've check both the Pantheon and Sandbox pages.

  • Symbol: The Calamity Box

  • Portfolio: Toxic Friend Influence, Childhood Friends who had to fight each other, Trapped in Another World, Action Girls, Power Trio, True Companions in the end
  • Heralds: The Plantars (Anne), Grime (Sasha), Olivia and Yunan (Marcy)

  • Friends are supposed to be there for each other. If your friend likes a pencil case, you get it for them. If your friend likes your new shoes, you give them to her. But if your friend asks you to steal a crazy music box from a thrift store, then it’s time you start questioning your friendship with them. That is what happened to these three schoolgirls from Los Angeles. On Anne Boonchuy’s 13th birthday, her friend Sasha Waybright suggested they ditch school and her family party to steal an item called the “Calamity Box” from a thrift store at the behest of their third friend, Marcy Wu. The box is supposedly an Interdimensional Travel Device... and it worked a little too well, as they found themselves in different corners of Amphibia, a world populated by anthropomorphic frogs, toads, and salamanders. Thus began a five-month adventure to reunite and get back home to Earth. But until then, a little fun couldn’t hurt, right?
    • As for where they ended up, Anne was transported to the frog town of Wartwood, initially treated as a monster by the citizens, but taken in by a farmer family of Hopediah, Sprig, and Polly Plantar, and allowed to stay in their basement. She learned to become a more responsible, nice person and The Heart of her found frog family, and won over the hearts of the whole town. Meanwhile, Sasha was taken prisoner at Toad Tower, but proved to Captain Grime she could lead his warriors in battle to conquer Amphibia. She was always a Control Freak, and now she has the army she can control to her heart’s desire. Finally, Marcy was taken into the city of Newtopia, and became King Andrias’ trusted ranger. Her intelligence helped him defeat a colony of barbari-ants, recharge the stones on the Calamity Box be deciphering ancient text, and notably, she’s the only one who has ever beat the King at Flipwart, Amphibia’s equivalent of Chess. Eventually, the girls would reunite, but it wasn’t a happy one.
    • When Sasha visited Anne in Wartwood with the Toad Army, she tried to convince her to give up on her found frog family and return home. They had a falling-out, and Hop Pop was almost sacrificed during a banquet at Toad Tower. Anne had finally stood up to her control freak of a friend after years of being pushed around. Eventually, Anne made way for Newtopia and met up with Marcy, and she helped her recharge the stones on the Calamity Box to reopen the portal back home. Sasha accompanied them, she and her Captain Grime supposedly turning over a new leaf after the battle of Toad Tower. Unfortunately, Sasha slipped back or her old ways fought them again, but only to reveal that King Andrias was Evil All Along, and was using Marcy to reclaim power as a multiversal conquerer. He also happened to reveal that Marcy sent them to Amphibia on purpose, with the Freudian Excuse of her parents moving out of state, as she didn’t want their friendship to be torn apart. But by the time everyone’s true colors were revealed, the damage was done, and the King literally stabbed Marcy in the back before she could fix her mistake. And then she was revived and turned into a host for the Core, the evil mastermind behind the entire conflict. And so, Anne and Sasha had to make amends and fight the possessed Marcy, now “Darcy”, to save her, and fix their friendship once and for all.
    • Overall, their conflicts lead the Court of the Gods to ascend them under the title of Goddess of Friends Fighting. It’s not something they’re happy to be reminded of, but they acknowledge that they deserve the title. At least they didn’t need to use the music box to visit a new world this time, but music box or not, the Calamity Trio has agreed to never split up and fight in opposing factions ever again. The Pantheon certainly doesn’t need a multiversal war breaking out.
  • Upon their ascension, the girls immediately became friends with any frog deities they could find, starting with Kermit the Frog. In fact, Anne can recall meeting an expy of the famous Muppet in Amphibia named “Crumpet”. Kermit was quite interested in meeting him once he found out. Princess Tiana reminded Anne of a friend of hers back home, museum curator Dr. Jan, if only because she sounds similar. Tiana is conflicted on Amphibia, as her experience as a frog wasn’t as much a fun adventure. Sasha was quite interested in Mr. Toad, though surprisingly, she wasn’t disappointed to learn that this toad wasn’t a brutish warrior. Though, both are quite good at being reckless and aggressive, and she sometimes goes on joyrides with him throughout The River in his stolen car. Greninja also became a quick friend, especially to Marcy, who tends to go with the Fragile Speedster class in any game she plays. Sadly, the Ninja Pokemon doesn’t have the time to hear Marcy’s geeking out over its home series.
  • Anyone who reminds the girls of The Core is automatically an enemy, no questions asked. Not only did The Core trick King Andrias into starting the whole mess in the first place, and not only did it try to destroy the world by crashing the moon into it, but it possessed Marcy and used her body as a host. The second point in particular has made the girls fearful of Majora’s Mask and the Skull Kid, as they also tried to crash their moon into the world. The Harvesters also became an enemy for being Planet Looters; Andrias’ frobot army came about through mass purging of Amphibia’s resources, turning it into a Polluted Wasteland. At least Andrias learned from his mistakes, and helped to rebuilt the world he destroyed, but the Calamity Trio has agreed that trying to reason with the Harvesters is a lost cause.
  • Applies to Anne:
    • Anne warped under the blue stone of Heart on the Calamity Box, and thus had the responsibility of keeping people together. It did take a while for her to get along with the frogs of Wartwood; they used to see her as a monster. But through selfless actions, like renovating a broken-down restaurant into a beautiful Thai-Frog fusion eatery, saving the town from toad tax collectors, and learning the value of teamwork to help the town win a Bugball game, she won over the whole town’s hearts and was nominated for Frog of the Year, despite not being a frog. When she had to leave, the town erected a statue in her honor. Currently, Anne is working with the Court of the Gods to ascent the Plantars, so they can reunite.
    • She was the only one to retain her connection to her stone after recharging them at the temples, because she didn’t charge hers all the way. This lead to instances of unveiling Super Saiyan-style powers, in which her hair turns blue and she gains super speed and strength. The Saiyan deities of the Pantheon, including Son Goku himself, were fascinated and asked her for a demonstration once, but Anne declined, because using them tires her out. She did promise she’ll give a demonstration if ever the Pantheon is under attack.
    • Anne is rather fearful of Grunkle Stan. While the curator is a friendly guy, he reminds her of another wax museum curator in Amphibia who looks and sounds just like him. This curator, Ponds, tricked Anne into becoming the star attraction of the museum when she and the Plantars were low on cash, but “star attraction” in this case meant “another display”. The wax museum, as it turned out, didn’t have models, but real creatures frozen in wax. Stan was rather taken aback when he heard about this, though he is quite fascinated that he has an alternate universe counterpart. Ponds also just so happens to have an assistant named Frog Soos, piquing Stan’s interest further.
    • It’s worth mentioning that, in Amphibia’s continuity, Anne died saving the world from The Core’s Colony Drop, but a deity created a clone of her right beforehand, and sent her back to the world. Supposedly, this clone has the same mind and personality as Anne; a Body Backup Drive, if you will. It is unknown if the Anne in the Pantheon is Old Anne or New Anne, but please do not ask her. It might trigger an existential crisis.
  • Applies to Sasha:
    • Sasha warped under the pink gem of Strength on the Calamity Box, and as a former Control Freak, it was everything she could have asked for. Okay, she didn’t ask to be locked up in a prison in Toad Tower and switch to a diet of bugs, but in the end, she managed to prove to Captain Grime and his toad army that “hummuses” are more useful than they thought. Unfortunately, Sasha’s quest to prove her strength to Anne instead alienated her when the former tried to kill her frog friends, and took King Andrias’ throne in a coup. All of this changed when she discovered the Awful Truth that the king was evil, but Anne wasn’t willing to believe her after everything she’s done. Consumed by guilt over driving her best friend away, Sasha made things right by traveling to Wartwood and leading a resistance to take down the dark king once and for all.
    • It is wise not to remind Sasha of her old controlling tendencies. She became a psychologist in order to teach others not to repeat her mistakes. So when Yuuki Terumi and Johann Liebert trolled her about it, she retaliated, swords drawn. Things got ugly fast, and Anne had to unleash her Calamity powers briefly to quell the chaos. Goku was watching, as promised.
  • Applies to Marcy:
    • Marcy warped under the green gem of Wit on the Calamity Box, and how appropriate that she was the smartest of the trio. She can decipher ancient text and is a master at board games. That’s not to say she’s elegant, though; Anne can tell you that Marcy is the clumsiest person she knows. The very first thing she did upon warping into Newtopia was falling down a flight of stairs because she was distracted by the awe of the city. (Luckily, the newts have free public healthcare!) She almost repeated her mistake in the Pantheon, but luckily, Anne and Sasha stopped her.
    • NEVER BRING HER NEAR DEITIES THAT REMIND HER OF THE CORE. She still hasn’t gotten over being possessed and trapped within her own mind while The Core helped carry out Andrias’ evil plan. This also goes for her “Darcy” alias. Unlike Sasha, however, she won’t violently lash out, but she will be brought to tears, and you’ll instead incur the wrath of Sasha, the one who saved her from The Core.
    • In Amphibia, Marcy rode Joe Sparrow, a giant bird, as a steed. Sadly, she couldn’t find him in the Hall of Birds, but she did find an flock of The Birds, who tried to kill her on sight. It brought back bad memories of almost getting eaten by a cardinal while wearing a caterpillar fur coat.

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93

I remembered that the Teletubbies literally has a Baby Sun. Now that I think about it, The Baby Sun could be a separate entity that could possible take the title of The Face of the Sun since the version you've choose for The Sun is apparently not alive.

The Teletubbies are confused/sad that this version of the sun is non-living and is not the one they are used to seeing.

I don't think that version of their sun has further characterization beyond being a baby so I'm still debating if there is a need to include that iteration there or ascend the Sun baby as Goddess of The Face of the Sun at some point.

@Soaring Eagle

I still have the Miaka Yuuki suggestion to recommend in case you didn't see it. But I can understand if you intentionally not included it.

  • Alignment: True Neutral, really trying his best to be Neutral Good. Chaotic Evil as Fire Punch. Lawful Good as Sun.
  • Portfolio: Immortality Hurts, Healing Factor, Anti-Hero, Villain Protagonist, A God I Am Not, Idiot Hero, I'm a Humanitarian, Nigh-Invulnerability, Roaring Rampage of Revenge
  • Domains: Regeneration, Flames, Cannibalism, Incest
  • Allies: Garfield Logan, Alexstrasza, Charlie McGee, Portgas D. Ace, Fisher Tiger
  • Enemies: Volgin, SCP-457, Gwyn, Five Elders, Akainu, The Hag, SCP-3166, The Crimson Court, Ragnaros, Surtr
  • Respects: Sabo
  • Conflicting Opinion: Soul of Cinder
  • Agni and his younger sister, Luna, were orphans tasked with feeding their village of the elderly. Humanity by the 23rd century has barely tethered on due to the perpetual ice age the Earth is surrounded in, but humans have been "blessed" with superpowers. Agni and Luna had the power to regenerate, though Agni's regeneration was noted to be particularly strong. Most of his village enjoyed eating pieces of Agni as a result, though that changed when soldiers from the city of Behemdolg came to enslave the village and their commanding officer decided to burn it all down after learning of their cannibalistic ways. With all of his loved ones burned to unrecognizable char, Agni survived sharing the same fate thanks to his regeneration but is in constant agony due to the flames' nature being to burn until whatever it has touched ceases to be burnable. His wandering around to look for the one who destroyed his life landed Agni in a rather horrific mess of events that allowed him to ascend. Many people of the Pantheon should be grateful that Agni was not ascended being on fire and ends up being seen as a dumb beefcake, as him wandering around setting everyone and everything on fire. He is aware enough to know there is a lot of irony in his ascension, as there is the religion of Agniism formed around himself. He takes "this is my body" quite literally as a deity.
  • The only thing that Agni wanted to do was go watch movies with his sister (and maybe bang her too). Agni is bummed that he cannot actually do that though is happy that the world is not under the knife and is stable as it could be. Agni is also happy that he does not have to have cut his ass off to stop people from starving too. It is not as if he wanted to eat his own flesh for the rest of his life and did so out of circumstance, though it would be dishonest to say that Agni does not remise occasionally on his flesh's flavor. His ass truly was a delight when cooked right.
Agni: Do you want a taste of it?
The Hag: Yes, when I'm done cooking you. Now, are you better with salt or paprika?
Agni: Sorry, my sister did the cooking.
The Hag: I'll just mix both.
  • Th reason why Agni had an entire religion formed around himself was his siege of Behemdolg, which was brought about when a good friend of Agni really wanted to film a Superhero movie about him and beating up "bad guys" on camera. To be fair, Behemdolg is a place that many would want to burn down as well. The people of Behemdolg go out to capture slaves outside of their domain, having the males in hard labor and having females as Sex Slaves for the men to enjoy. Those blessed with powers are meant to spend the rest of their lives as batteries to fill the cities' resources. A too forgiving of a person (who probably desires slavery's widespread reinstatement anyway) would say that since humanity was barely surviving as it was and exploiting people who can bring a semblance of civilization is perfectly okay. Conveniently, the high-ranking military officer whose hobby is forcing children to have sex with dogs is not brought up in the conversation. Agni fought off the entire military force of Behemdolg when freeing the city's slaves and ended up being tossed from building to building, collapsing the fragile infrastructure and setting thousands on fire. As a result, Agni is seen as a God delivering justice onto evil and will protect the innocent... even though he does not like the role. He also does not like he is celebrated for killing so many people either though was willing to serve that role if it meant people would be happy. As a result, Fisher Tiger who freed the slaves of the Celestial Dragons has the utmost respect for Agni for sacrificing himself to be the savior of others.
  • Since he spent much of his teenage years (which is way long for humans in the 23rd century) on fire, Agni is unhinged, to say the least. When he found his sister's murderer, the guy basically gave up on being a Knight Templar and decided to dedicate his life to helping people. Agni accepted that his vengeance was now pointless and left the man and his adopted family in peace. Then Agni came back and burned them all to death. You can say he killed all the men (which was only one), all the women, and all the children in a swiftly brutal moment. Agni's power as Fire Punch comes from lasting flames which those blessed with fire ignition have. Since that specific kind of power is uncommon, someone has to light Agni up to bring out the deadly Fire Punch. Only having Agni dipped entirely in cold water can stop his fire (and likely drown him in the process). Surtr and Ragnaros who have these eternally burning flame capabilities have respected the infamous Fire Punch as a destroyer. So when they are bored, they discreetly set Agni on fire and just watch the shitshow that follows. Grocery store? Agni sets it on fire. Fancy restaurant? Everything is now overcooked. Daycare? Good thing Agni has no reason to go to one.
    • At the same time, Agni can be afflicted with flames that can help people rather than the normally harmful ones. Alexstrasza set Agni on fire with her flames meant to cleanse people and he can carry those flames on him for as long as he wants as a result. It is odd for Agni that as Fire Punch, he can finally beat a person without killing them instantly. On the other hand, Agni is useless in fighting due to Alexstrasza's flames simply healing whoever Agni is fighting. Fire Punch is essentially a bloodthirsty persona Agni takes, so Fire Punch dips into a place of cold water to save himself. Agni is thankful for the option at the very least.
  • Gwyn actually considers Agni to be one of the greatest threats to the First Flame if not incidentally THE greatest threat. As the First Flame is fire, then Fire Punch could take its power for itself as his own flames. Not only this would probably remove the benefits of the First Flame as a result of its removal from its kiln, but it would also ascend Agni to a Lord of Cinder that can freely use the First Flame for whatever purpose. Since Gwyn has his own vision of how the world should be guided by the First Flame, that is something that he wants to prevent desperately. However, as many thunderbolts as Gwyn could throw at Agni, it would not be effective due to Agni's regeneration and Gwyn does not know how he can get rid of Agni aside from being confrontational himself which Gwyn does not want to do lest he makes Agni aware of this potential outcome. Ironically, the Soul of Cinder itself does not mind this situation. Whatever takes the First Flame would probably be responsible and if it brings light to the world or incinerates it to the ground, there is no issue from its end if Agni took it.
Agni: Do I have to pour some gasoline in my face again?
  • Agni has a budding friendship with Charlie McGee over their mutual experiences in setting things on fire that became mostly out of their control. Then they got better with it and could set things on fire on a whim. What Charlie could say about Agni is that he is a nice person who does his best to help others even if it is clear that he is a bit unhinged. Agni is just happy someone wanted to be friends with him. To be fair, Agni is still mentally a young teenager despite being physically around his twenties, so he does have an inherent need for socialization more than anything. Ironically, Charlie is one of the few who can bring out Fire Punch with her powers of fire and finds it a bit unsettling how Agni just reverts to that personality almost instantaneously.
Fire Punch: Welp. It's punch' time.
  • The Five Elders are concerned over the infamous reputation of Fire Punch, being seen as a religious figure who frees slaves and strikes down the wicked societies that perpetuate it. The World Government is exactly in this role when it comes to protecting the Celestial Dragons who enslave people as a hobby. As the leaders of the World Government and Celestial Dragons themselves, the Five Elders are very concerned about Agni potentially coming after the Celestial Dragons next and demanded that Fleet Admiral Akainu do something about it. Despite Akainu's willingness to stamp out crime as brutally as possible, he does not approve of such preemptive action as Agni's existence has not violated any laws under the World Government yet. If Agni does something, then Akainu will deliver him to justice. However, upon learning of the inherently lethal regeneration that Agni brings and how infectious his flames are, Akainu may find punching a hole at Agni to be more difficult than he would like. It seems that Akainu is afraid that his lava may not be hotter than this man's fire.
  • Garfield Logan started to be a big brother figure to Agni due to finding sympathy with their shared long lives and similar powers of regeneration. However, Logan would like to admit that Agni's regenerative powers are far stronger than Logan's own much to his surprise. Their relationship is tight enough for Logan to be one of the few to reign in Agni's rampages as Fire Punch and is can briefly handle the flames that Fire Punch emits compared to anybody else. Though even he has also gone into the water to douse the flames that are burning faster than what his regeneration can keep up with.
  • The Crimson Court once captured Agni to have him be a good food source for themselves as they cut him to bits in a cellar while they have the Hag cook the bits of Agni. The Crimson Court loved the taste of him and threw feasts every night and simply needed the spices and sides to make Agni taste even better than he did. The Hag felt as though her career as a chef would be lasting... until she accidentally burnt the kitchen down and a person can guess what happened to Agni throughout that. One member of the Crimson Court wanted their Agni meal to be more cooked, though did not expect the flaming wad of meat they eat to hug them to death. Though some Crimson Court members remarked that the odor left by Agni smelled great.
  • SCP-3166 has nothing but admiration for Agni being able to stomach his own flesh like itself and really, really likes people to acknowledge that the best footage that a person has is themselves. Agni is... appreciative of that sentiment from the weird cat-thing.
  • SCP-457 who is a literal person on fire has wandered around the Pantheon looking for what it could call its brethren. Then it saw Fire Punch one day and was enamored by the arson that Fire Punch wrought onto everyone he saw. Recognizing Agni as Fire Punch, SCP-457 latches onto Agni to become Fire Punch once more but as Fire Punch's flame. Doing so makes SCP-457 feel like is extending its burning flames on a vessel that is more powerful than it. Agni may have wanted to do many inappropriate things with his sister, but having a "sibling" be this intimate is not welcomed in regards to SCP-457.
  • Volgin wanted to see how powerful Fire Punch is as Volgin states much like how communism and capitalism should not coexist, two men whose powers are to be set in agonizing flames cannot coexist as well. So Volgin went to become the Man on Fire and tried to beat the will out of Fire Punch. Volgin knew that the fire he spouts would only empower Fire Punch, so he opted to rely upon his fists to get his results. That was a mistake. Volgin kept pounding on Fire Punch's chest in a rather familiar scene and ended up burning himself out in the process. It was then Fire Punch's turn and Fire Punch ended up cutting a hole through Volgin. It was then the colonel had it literally drilled into him that two men who can be set on fire with agonizing flames can exist. Except one collapsed before the other.
  • Ace laughed at Fire Punch's name and how similar it is to his own epithet of "Fire Fist" Ace. He would not fight Fire Punch for the title and instead befriended Agni. The two can be seen watching movies together a lot. Agni also somewhat reveres the brother of Ace, Sabo for his use of flames and went as far as to call Sabo "The Emperor of Flames" as it popped into his head. Ace said such a tacky name would probably not be placed onto Sabo.
  • Live.

@Soaring Eagle

Thank you for noticing! I hope the profile turns out great.

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93

I see, I forgot to check if someone else make have taken it. Maybe someone would have taken it but I don't anyone is motivated to take their trope soon. Besides, I'll also think what stories I would write in their profile and there's probably not much to say about the Baby Sun if I were to write a profile about them.

While the Agent 47 is currently waiting ascension, I have a few profiles I've been wanting to proposed for a while now.

  • Lucas Grey/The Shadow Client, The Cool and Composed God Who Rebelled Against Authority - He's the tritagonist of the Hitman's World of Assassination Trilogy, a childhood friend/brother of Agent 47, and one of Dr. Ort-Meyers' clone subjects, known as "Subject 6". In one of the facility incidents where the several cloned tried to escape, the young 47 got himself captured so that 6 can escape, at the cost of 47 and the rest of the captured clones getting their memory wiped of the incident and of Subject 6. While 6, now Lucas Grey, eventually tried to lived the normal life as a bodyguard , which didn't last very long since when he found out that the Bank CEO he was working under is part of the same shadow organization his creator apart of. Realized that he cannot run away from his past, Grey snapped and decided to wage war on Providence, killed the guy he was supposed to protect, created an elaborate plan to take them shadow organization and find 47 be on his side. In his words, he "doesn't like executive decision makers" due to his past experiences, and doesn't trust anyone besides Agent 47. Despite his hatred of authority, he has a calm, composed, and serious demeanor not to mention having a Badass Longcoat making him a straight example for this purposed title.

  • Dedan, Japhet and Enoch, Divine Guardians of Those Who Jumped Off the Slippery Slope - Three overseers and Guardians of the main Zones, who also serve as Bosses for each level. While all three guardians have different appearances, they all share the same tragic story that went off in different ways. All three were once benevolent and hoped to create a utopia out of their barren world but they turned against their subjects (the Elsens) once things did panned out like they hoped. Dedan became a Jerkass Boss who verbally berates his subjects for the tiniest mistakes, Japhet went Ax-Crazy when his subjects don't appreciate the work he's done and while Enoch kinda succeed in making his subject happy but he did so as a Well-Intentioned Extremist by making his subjects addicted to "sugar", complete with withdrawn symptoms and is made by burning corpses. Each them represent a facet of this trope in different ways on which their good intention or moral dilemmas have turned them into morally reprehensible beings they are today.
