Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Hera
I'M BAAACK! Here is a new profile i requested a while back.
So we have here Drek'thar, an orc, and Vanndar Stormpike, a dwarf. Representing horde and alliance respectively, they are the faces of one of the most famous battlegrounds in Classic WOW, fought in the snowy valleys of alterac. Hence Winter Warfare
Drek'Thar is an a shaman, in tune with nature and the elements, but in the past abandoned the shamanism to become a warlock until he came to regret it.
Vanndar is a dwarf of the stormpike clan, fierce and relentless. He is leading an expedition to uncover treasures and secrets pertaining to his culture.
Any ideas?
Drek'Thar and Vanndar Stormpike, Opposing Generals of Winter Warfare
- Potential House: Pantheon/
- Intermediate Gods
- Symbol: The symbols of the Frostwolf Clan (Drek'Thar) and the Stormpike Clan (Vanndar)
- Theme Song: PVP
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral (both)
- Portfolio:
- Drek'Thar: Blind Weaponmaster, Blind Seer, Defector from Decadence
- Vanndar: Drop The Hammer, Our Dwarves Are All the Same
- Domains: War, Conflict, Seasons, Conquest
- Allies: Harth Stonebrew, Bartender Bob
- Drek'Thar: Thrall
- Vanndar: Muradin Bronzebeard
- Enemies: Each other
- Shared enemies:
- Alterac Valley, a legendary zone where war is as constant as the cold weather. There, two warring factions representing the Alliance and Horde fight over control of the Valley, for differing reasons. On one hand, the Frostwolf Clan defending the home they settled in long ago from invaders that seek to plunder it. On the other hand, the Stormpike Clan leading an expedition to uncover ancient secrets of dwarven civilization only to be met with hostile savages. At the heart of both groups lie their respective generals, the orchish chieftain of the Frostwolves, Drek'Thar, and the Dwarven Stormpike marshall, Vanndar Stormpike. These two have been locked in conflict for as long as many can recall, and a resolution to who would finally conquer Alterac Valley was seemingly unachieveable, until their ascension happened...
- Turns out, both Drek'Thar and Vanndar found themselves in unfamiliar land, no longer the cold winds and breezes of Alterac Valley were felt, instead welcomed by a divine warmth that brought them concern at first, especially because they found themselves face to face with each other with no alliance or horde soldier in sight. They begrudgingly called a truce until they could figure out what to do, until the Court of Gods declared them the gods of Winter Warfare for their continuous war to claim Alterac Valley. Just as they were willing to bury the hatchet, the two were quick to come to blows again after their temples were assigned.
Not related, but I remember you'd had like five other gods as a draft that aren't in your sandbox. Your Warcraft choice for White And Red And Eerrie All Over, the water and earth elements and such. What happened to that?

Eh, i didn't feel compelled enough to finish them so the tropes are free. Felt like trying to complete sets instead of actually adding worthy suggestions.
I might revive Silas Darkmoon if i get the inspiration but so far i'm content with just the new profile and a rework.
Btw, i might rework Onyxia for Weaponized Offspring. She is one of the endgame bosses of WOW classic, her fight featuring her fighting alongside her whelps that hatch the moment their ma is in danger.
I will grab Alexia Ashford since i do know RE but i so far i have nothing for a replacement for her.
Uni catProbably high time I reposted them. Don't know if they'll enter Hype Prevention. I've been working on this long before the reboot announcement.
Please check out the green text.

- Relations Between Each Other: All Allied Nations COs are allies with one another, and due to certain events in Macro Land, Hawke and Lash are also in their fold. Due to circumstances, Flak is with them too, but Adder isn't. For Black Hole, excepting the aforementioned three, they and Adder are allies for the most part, though Sturm and Von Bolt are rivals.

- Others (Black Hole):
- Special Relationship: The Commander (ally and enemy depending on whom they're working for)
- Opposed by:
- Allied Nations: Captain Martin Walker, Kiritsugu Emiya, Valvatorez
- Conflicting Opinion:
- When it comes to armies, one needs to have an easy way to discern which side they're on. The world of Nintendo Wars takes this a step further by naming their nations with these colors: Orange Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet, Green Earth, and Black Hole. Naturally, their armies' uniforms and paint jobs reflect these colors.
- In the early days of the Pantheon, Andy was the first to ascend under the trope War Has Never Been So Much Fun. A few more allies followed such as Colin for Discount Card (with Hachi as a Herald), Max and Grit for Short Range Guy, Long Range Guy, Olaf for Winter Warfare, and Sonja for Fog of War and Defog of War (alongside fellows from Days of Ruin), and then their adversary Sturm came Back from the Dead for Slap-on-the-Wrist Nuke.
- One day, Andy had a rare brilliant idea and told Max he wanted to invite the rest of the Allied Nations to the Pantheon. Seeing no issue with this, he agreed and they got to work on making it happen with a message to the Court of the Gods. The trope selected was Color-Coded Armies for "obvious reasons". Around the same time, the Black Tri-Stars found the Bolt Guard, approached them, and offered an invitation to the Pantheon with Von Bolt's return to power as a bonus. Kindle, Koal, and Jugger saw no reason to refuse their offer. Unbeknownst to them, Hawke was also contacted somehow by another party, as well as the other Black Hole Macro Land participants.
- A massive reunion and celebration was had amongst the Allied Nations COs (though Eagle had a minor gripe that no one from Green Earth had a Pantheon representative prior to this), though Sonja noticed someone was missing. Said someone was Lash, who was welcoming back Hawke as they arrived a moment later, though there was naturally some tension; the two had (sort-of) warm welcomes (and a fully warm one from Jake), but Flak's presence was a shock to see (though Hawke managed to rein him in). And then they noticed Adder was absent, though he won't be missed.
- When asked on that particular CO not being there while Flak was, Hawke explained that he found himself in the Pantheon alongside his compatriots during the Macro Land war when the Bolt Guard's forces managed to corner them somehow and tried to press-gang them into coming along. Adder was swift to fold, but before anyone else can think of following suit, intervening heroes crashed the scene, allowing himself, Lash, and Flak to escape and eventually make it to the venue.
- Meanwhile, Adder was questioned by the Bolt Guard in light of the earlier events, but he not only managed to make it clear he was leaving Hawke behind, he also established a good rapport with Koal during the interrogation and successfully joined up with them. That said, there was difficulty cooperating with Sturm, who wasn't entirely amused with how Von Bolt ran it after his passing, even as Adder groveled before him to assure his loyalty. Still, the original leader and Von Bolt decided it was better to focus their attention to their enemies for the time being.
- Applies to both factions:
- One orientation with the Court of the Gods later, the Allied Nations and the Black Hole Army were granted separate territories in the House of Military and Warfare and House of Colours, the Allied Nations (plus Hawke's faction) at the latter, and Von Bolt's faction (plus Sturm and Adder) at the former.
- As it turns out, the soldiers the Wars World COs employ are actually simulacra, be it from a training sim, a VRMMO, or being machine-like. It explains the ability to do things like block vehicles, naval craft, and foot soldiers with aircraft and vice-versa, why pipes can stop aircraft despite piperunners able to traverse them and indirect combat units able to shoot over them, why restarting a "last chance" scenario is possible, how APCs can supply any unit except itself, the whole turns-minutes dissonance in Dual Strike, etc.
- Simulacra or not, there is discomfort from all the Fire Emblem heroes given they have the reverse attitude in regards to soldier preservation. This goes double for the Tactician, who can't tolerate any casualties period. Although, s/he's heard of a certain cosmicPostman's reported adventures of an Advisor named "my dude" and his attempts at a No Casualties Run. He's not successful, but he does his absolute best.
- What sets most apart Wars World COs from your "run-of-the-mill" commanding officer is the day-to-day benefits they confer to their units when they're in command. The only ones without this buff are Andy, Adder, and Hachi, and the first serves as a baseline for Wars World soldiers.
- Max's direct-combat units like tanks, planes, battle copters, submarines, etc. deal more damage than the baseline, but his indirect-combat units have less maximum range.
- Sami's infantry are top-of-the-line, able to seize properties much faster than most, but her direct-combat units aren't quite up to snuff offensively.
- Every Wars World unit gets the occasional extra luck to do a little more damage (here's how it works
), but Nell's are moreso, and it gets crazier later on.
- Rachel's units are run-of-the-mill, but properties under her control deliver 50% faster repairs to any of her damaged units parked in them.
- Jake's units get a minor bonus while attacking on the plains. Around here, that means grasslands, the savannah, or even desert sands, as long as it's not paved (those count as roads).
- Olaf's units move as easily on the snow as they can in clear weather (on top of being stronger during that time), but are more bogged down in the rain than usual. To be exact, they're hampered as much as anyone else being bogged down in the snow.
- Grit's indirect-combat units like artillery, rocket units, missile units, and battleships have a somewhat higher maximum range and deal more damage than the baseline, but his direct-combat units (exc. foot soldiers) do less damage.
- Colin's are 20% cheaper to deploy, but are noticeably weaker as a consequence of his inexperience (and probably lack of confidence in himself since he'd technically be a veteran after the Macro Land war).
- Sasha's units are run-of-the-mill, but properties under her control offer 10% more funds to spend on deploying units.
- Kanbei's units are noticeably stronger overall in offense and defense, but cost 20% more to deploy.
- When Sonja is in command, opponent commanders report getting fuzzy readings in the numbers of her troops, not being able to tell if there's just one unit or an entire platoon of it at any spot. And in Fog of War, her units have a moderately greater vision range. That said, her downside is that she has a case of bad luck, which also makes her not that suitable in areas without Fog of War, though her misfortune has since lessened somewhat. That said, fuzzy readings as well as stronger attack power when retaliating still makes her worthwhile. Additionally, her units are skilled enough to lessen some of the defensive benefits of terrain for her opponents.
- Sensei's infantry units and helicopters are top-notch (though the former don't have the capture proficiency Sami's do, they're stronger than even hers in combat), at the cost of his effectiveness with naval units.
- Grimm's units are powerhouses in the offensive, but are lackluster in the defensive.
- Eagle's air units are more proficient and more fuel-efficient compared to the baseline. His naval units suffer in terms of attack and defense, though.
- Drake has the inverse bonuses and penalties as Eagle's (proficient navy, deficit air force), except defenses for both are unaltered.
- Jess's ground vehicles enjoy a boost in offense and defense, at the minor cost of the performance of all her other units sans foot soldiers.
- Communications Towers in Wars World provide attack boosts to whoever lays claim to them, but in Javier's case, they provide defensive boosts as well. Even without them, his units can also endure indirect attacks somewhat better than the baseline.
- Sturm's units are stronger overall, both offensively and defensively, and can move across all terrain they're capable of traversing unimpeded except when it's snowing or when other similarly heavy weather is bearing down on them.
- Flak's units have fluctuating luck, which sometimes leaves them doing a little less damage than expected, but his CO Powers can swing the pendulum wider.
- The more defensive the terrain, the stronger Lash's units get while they're on them. Some find this a bit strange as Lash looks unsuited to outdoor hiking to know such things so well.
- Hawke's units are somewhat stronger overall, though not to the extent of Kanbei.
- Jugger's units work just like Flak's in every way that matters, but his luck spread is slightly greater.
- Koal's land and air units get an increase in firepower when battling on/over open roads. In the Pantheon, this can include dirt paths or the stone-laid type.
- Kindle's units are significantly more powerful whenever they're battling on/over any urban property, military base, or Headquarters. This applies not just for her own, but neutral and even enemy properties as well. In the Pantheon, this can include even humble villages, though she'll still complain about their plebeian lifestyle.
- Von Bolt's units have the same boost as Sturm's, but minus the unimpeded travel benefits.
- Another thing that sets apart Wars World COs from your "run-of-the-mill" commanding officer is their CO Powers (a normal and a Super one, though two eschew the former), which accumulate over the course of a battle as their units deal and take damage. And when they get used, an astounding variety of effects occur, on their own troops, against their enemies', or even changing the weather, but they only last for a while. They also take 20% longer to charge after each use as long as the battle they're in is in progress, only resetting once it's over. Also, no matter the CO, there's always a minor boost in offense and defense for all their units.
- Andy's Hyper Repair restores up to 20% of all his squadrons' total strength, while Hyper Upgrade restores up to 50% plus boosting firepower and movement.
- Max's Max Force and Max Blast increase his direct-combat units' attack power considerably and immensely respectively.
- Sami's Double Time increases her foot soldiers' movement range and attack power. Her Victory March not only further increases these boosts, they can also seize any property within a day, even if it's just one soldier left.
- Nell's Lucky Star and Lady Luck increase her luck to massive or ludicrous levels. How absurd? To the point where her infantry can actually come out on top when attacking Neotanks, though she's obviously not doing that on the regular even with her Power in effect.
- Hachi's Barter reduces his units' deployment costs from 90% to 50%. His Merchant Union not only does that, but also allows him to deploy ground units from any friendly property that doesn't already do so, except the headquarters. As a side-effect, this also affects how much charge opposing Wars World COs get for their Powers.
- Rachel's Lucky Lass channels some of Nell's inherent luck onto her own units, though still not to her sister's extent. Covering Fire calls for three Silo Missiles to attack the following: the first targets the most foot soldiers (and whatever else is in range), the second targets the most expensive group of enemies, and the final missile targets the most (enemy) units.
- Jake's Beat Down not only further boosts his attack power on the plains, but his indirect-combat vehicles (essentially, Artillery tanks, Rocket trucks, Missile trucks, and Piperunners) get increased attack range. His Block Rock does the same, but with even more attack boost on the plains and increases all his vehicles' movement range.
- Olaf's Blizzard, well, makes one blow over and turns the entire area snowy before inexplicably returning to normal the day after tomorrow. His Winter Fury not only does the same, but also hammers down on his enemies' forces by 20 percent.
- Grit's Snipe Attack and Super Snipe do just about the same thing as Max's CO Powers, but for indirect-combat units, and increases their attack range.
- Colin's Gold Rush increases his funds "on hand" by 50%. His Power of Money jacks up his forces' attack power by the amount of funds he has "on hand".
- Sasha's Market Crash is specifically made to counter the buildup for CO Powers by draining them, which makes it useless against non-Wars World COs. Her War Bonds enables her forces to earn funds by dealing damage to foes.
- Kanbei's Morale Boost and Samurai Spirit further boost his forces' offensive and defensive capabilities, but the latter can outright render his troops all but invincible for a day depending on where they're hunkered down.
- Sonja's Enhanced Vision not only increases her units' vision range, but ensures that no enemies can hide from her (unless they're underwater or cloaked). Her Super CO Power Counter Break not only does that, but can also reduce the enemies' defensive benefits.
- Sensei's Copter Command and Airborne Assault not only boost his Battle Copters' attack power, but outright summon "9 HP" infantry (regular or "mechanized" depending on which power is used) on all of his properties in the combat zone.
- Grimm's Knuckleduster and Haymaker further boosts his forces' attack power to great or ridiculous levels while marginally increasing their defense.
- Eagle's Lightning Drive and Lightning Strike grant an Extra Turn for all his vehicles. The former does this at a penalty to attack power but is quicker to charge, while the latter gives a power boost on top of the Extra Turn, but takes much longer to charge.
- Drake's Tsunami and Typhoon bring forth a great wave of water that washes away up 10% or 20% (from 100%) of all his enemies' squadrons' total strength (while sparing his own and his allies') and cuts their fuel in half, though it can't wipe out any squadron outright. On top of that, it then starts raining for a day before it stops.
- Jess's Turbo Charge and Overdrive not only replenishes all her units' ammo and fuel, but increases her vehicles' movement range and boosts their attack power greatly or immensely.
- Javier's Tower Shield and Tower of Power further boost his defense from indirect attacks and benefits from Comm Towers.
- Sturm only has one CO Power, and it's a Super one: Meteor Strike. It does exactly as the name suggests... except not only can it not destroy terrain, the enemy units it hits will either always have at least 1 or 2 survivors per squadron, or just "merely" severely damage large units. As for where it lands, he doesn't actually have much control over that, but it behaves in one of three ways at random: 1) it automatically lands where it would do the most monetary damage (buildings notwithstanding), 2) the same, but it also considers indirect units doubly important, or 3) it goes for the biggest cluster of enemy units. As such, they can actually be baited somewhat. While his own forces can be caught in it, their presence counts against the chances of his Meteor landing on their location.
- Flak's Brute Force and Barbaric Blow further increases the chance of his forces doing a lot of lucky blows, but also increases his chances of whiffing them.
- Lash's Terrain Tactics negates all terrain movement penalties for her units a la Sturm (though that can get cancelled out by snowy weather). Her Prime Tactics not only do that, but also double the defensive benefits of terrain (and by extension, her troops' attack power).
- Adder's CO Powers Sideslip and Sidewinder/Snakebite merely add movement range for his units, but these Powers require much less "charge" compared to others, so any opponent of Adder's will find themselves seeing his Powers take effect far more often.
- Hawke's CO Power and Super CO Power take longer to charge compared to others, but his Black Wave and Black Storm'' combine the healing effects and damaging effects of Andy's and Drake's CO Powers (but no weather changes, and no total wipes). The former only does 10% damage and 10% regeneration, while the latter does 20% on both.
- Jugger's Overclock and System Crash have the same effects as Flak's CO Powers, but on a wider spread.
- Koal's Forced March and Trail of Woe not only have (roughly) the same charge time as Adder's on top of the movement range bonus, but his attack bonus on roads is further increased as well.
- Kindle's Urban Blight cuts down on a any enemy squadron's strength by 30% (from 100%) down to as low as 10% if they're on any urban property (even neutral ones or their own), plus Kindle's own units get a larger attack (and minor defense) boost. High Society essentially doubles her forces' attack power while on urban property, and all her units (plus those on urban areas) also get an attack boost dependent on how many properties are under her control.
- Just like Sturm, Von Bolt only has one CO Power, and it's a Super one: Ex Machina. It sends down a bolt of energy in an area similar to ground zero of a Meteor Strike (and with similar targeting priorities), but only wipes 30% (from 100%) of every squadron's strength in the blast radius. They're also rendered unable to move or act for a time, up to a whole day (though can still counterattack those who assault them).
- Another feature that Wars World COs have is the CO Swap technique, devised by Lash during the war in Omega Land, and shortly adopted by the Allied Nations. Their soldiers' strengths and weaknesses get altered depending on which CO is on center stage. But once both of their CO Power gauges are full, they can pull off a Dual Strike, essentially doubling their speed (triple if Eagle initiates), on top of the usual Super CO Power benefits, though its power depends on the compatibility between the two COs, getting stronger or even weaker depending on this bond. And if all that wasn't absurd enough, there's also a repertoire of Skills
they can all get, though only four at a time, and only if the Commander is with them (and he decides what Skills are "equipped").
- Naturally, as commanders, while overseeing battle, they rarely encounter it face-to-face, and thus most of them would probably be helpless against such a situation. Key word is "some", as a few COs definitely have methods of physical combat. Max and Flak's muscles aren't all for show, Sami and Grit have been seen with guns (machinegun/SMG/assault rifle and handgun/sniper rifle) and certainly know how to use them, Kanbei and Koal are well-versed in swordplay, Lash has been known to build decoys (of herself and others), Grimm is a former wrestler, and let's not forget Hawke's use of his Black Storm to shed Sturm of his mortal coil, as well as the gun he either hands to Jake if he decides to take out Von Bolt once he's cornered or uses against the old man himself.
- When it comes to land war vehicles, navy, and air forces, how their CO and day-to-day powers work is usually as clear as it can get. However, if they're ever required to take command of squadrons of Humongous Mecha (Super Robot and Real Robot) a la Super Robot Wars, the lines get blurrier in terms of unit classifications (except Andy, Nell, Hachi, Rachel, Jake, Olaf, Colin, Sasha, Kanbei, Sonja, Grimm, Javier, and all Black Hole COs, whose day-to-day benefits apply to either economy, terrain, or all units in general). Does a mobile suit count as infantry for Sami and Sensei, or vehicles for Jess, or both? Given some robots have both indirect and direct combat capabilities, what would they count as under Max and/or Grit, or would their effects depend on which weapon the robot uses? Would Rachel's repair bonus apply for in-battlestar repairs? Does a battlestar count as a "Battleship" for Drake? Would space combat be specialized for him (since Space Is an Ocean sometimes), Eagle, both, or neither? Would space colonies count as "city" terrain for Kindle? Can weather CO powers even work in space? It's something both sides wish to test out.
- And in leading armies from time periods before vehicles are mass-produced, it will almost be a certainty that Sami would be really, really busted, with Sensei a close second.
- Kiritsugu and Valvatorez were downright pissed that the Wars World COs mostly have a casual attitude in regards to war when their belief is War Is Hell. It is a Berserk Button for the latter.
- Exclusive to Allied Nations (counting Hawke's faction):
- As soon as their territories were established, Lash got to work on getting Black Cannons, Minicannons, and Black Lasers built for territory defense. Naturally, they would now be colored accordingly, and work for them instead of against them, though Lasers are still indiscriminate. Factories that spawn units were also made, and Lash had to clarify that they now work for the lands they're on, so there's no resource stealing.
- Each army also has an Oozium-238 for some reason, but only one, and it respawns tomorrow if it's "killed". Lash also made a few more Black Arcs (for "ground bombardment" and for "structural defense"), though only one of each type per army could be afforded at a time.
- Due to Von Bolt's actions in Omega Land, they're all enemies to those who drain the land of life to feed their army/for the sake of immortality. This goes double for all the Omega Land war participants, who witnessed this devastation firsthand, and especially for Hawke, who used Von Bolt's chair, which was where all the energy was stored, to undo all the damage in the end. As such, they only barely tolerate the Diamonds due to what they did to Earth, and because Steven Universe vouches for them.
- Due to their whole business dealing with them (Sturm using a Clone Andy to stir up trouble in Cosmo Land, and Von Bolt's forces employing clones of other COs), they loathe those who use clones and treat them as expendable. As such, they have difficulty working with the Republic Jedi due to the whole clone army business. Though Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka have treated their clone trooper colleagues like any other sapient being, so there's that, at least.
- While Shopkeeper Anna usually has no issues with the Wars World COs, there are three she pays special attention to whenever they're present either in person or when she ends up setting shop in a battle zone where they're in command of the army present there.
- First up is Colin. While they otherwise get along just fine, she dislikes one thing about him; something he does (she's not sure what it IS, but she IS sure that HE does it) reduces her prices when he's around (and cause a noticeable but not significant dip in quality), and she nearly kicked him out for almost ruining her business as a result.
- Second is Hachi. Thankfully, he doesn't go out much, but if he ever does, she's leaving whatever battle zone he's in. His CO Powers can affect her sales much worse than Colin, and while she's sure a single Secret Shop might not count as enough territory for him to seize, him spawning units with Merchant Union is too much for her to handle.
- Third is Kanbei. In contrast to the above two, she looks forward to whenever he's in the combat zone, as her prices go up and quality rises in kind.
- At some point, through the vagaries of chance, Colin obtained a Silver Card, and the mere act of holding it aloft reduced the prices of basically everything around him so low, he nearly broke the economy. The Pantheon made a new rule that he is to never again own a Silver Card, both for the economy's sake and to avoid a hazardous situation. This restriction is also applied to Hachi, since quarter-price deployment costs is so busted it's not even funny. He says he'll consider asking for it if and only if Sturm himself is trying to invade their territory, and nothing more.
- Apparently, Hachi was Sensei's student alongside Kanbei, though none of them are divulging any further details on that.
- Certain residents in the House of Love have also gotten into attempts to getting Sami and Eagle together more often, as well as Nell and Max (though others might try entangling Grit into this as well). Jake has got similar shenanigans attempted, but either with Rachel, Sasha, or Jess.
- Exclusive to Orange Star COs:
- Back when he was the Herald of Fun Wars, Andy was weirded out by his title. When he meant "Fun War," it means in war is very colorful and very silly, and the units look straight out of a toy. He didn't mean "Fun in War", in which he is even weirded out by Ares and Leonidas.
- For the record, Andy is familiar with what makes air units. He just called it an air base", and probably didn't catch on that it is also called an airport. But he'll Never Live It Down as long as there are people who would remind him of that, and there are many''.
- In his early days in the Pantheon, Andy has been helping with the Anglerfish team with repairing their tank and bonding with them. Saori Takebe tried to hit on him, but failed miserably. Though don't call him in the morning as he along with Mako Reizei is Not a Morning Person.
- Given his increased muscles and dips in performance, there have been jokes in Max's direction of him taking steroids. He is not amused by those accusations and states he is just not studying enough. At least his indirect units aren't weaker than baseline (anymore), even with their decreased range.
- As established, given she's a commando, Sami is not hesitant to head into the fray herself if need be or when the enemy comes knocking, with a squadron of her own troops preferably. Though as a CO, she knows getting into a position where she can start commanding can confer her benefits to all foot soldiers (though at the slight expense of combat capabilities to all direct combat units, though indirects still work fine).
- Sami has occasionally been is asked why she has a liking for long hair while not sporting such herself. She has no good response for that so far. She also has quite the Sweet Tooth for chocolate (though not to the degree of being improfessional about it), and has little patience for cowards.
- During one skirmish, Sami's forces crossed paths with the Scout. Thankfully, they were on the same side at the time. Unfortunately, she was also subject to his advances, but the heat of battle thankfully kept it to a minimum until his recklessness got him killed. Some of the Allied Nations COs, Max and Eagle in particular, would rather that son-of-a-gun not approach her like that ever again.
- As the Field Training tutor for the Advisor during the Cosmo Land conflict, Nell is usually tasked with helping burgeoning strategists in managing Wars World soldiers in battle. She has a liking for willful students during these, and doesn't really like it when she has downtime.
- Just because her "gimmick" is luck doesn't mean she relies on it alone. All that does is give her troops the chance to do a little to a lot more damage on occasion, and like luck it's not overly reliable. Additionally, the squadrons under her command have to be numerous enough to even pull off such potential stunts in the first place, so no singular soldier under her is wiping out tanks by his lonesome.
- Despite his prowess, Hachi is not interested in participating in the war, preferring to just manage his shop, which sells... things that make more sense to a player's perspective. He also has a preference for tea, and a disdain for medicine.
- That said, if (nearly) everyone else is away and foes enroach on Allied Nations territory, then he'll step up to the plate and defend it, and show them just how game-breaking he is. That said, he'll start worrying if Sturm himself or anyone in his caliber or above shows up to invade.
- Rachel is hardworking, and appriates those who are the same. She also hates excuses, whether she's hearing them, or being forced to make them. Due to her CO Powers, she's heard rumors of her being related to Sturm in some way, as well as jokes of her Super CO Power being more powerful than his. She refuses to respond to any of these rumors.
- It's usually difficult to take Jake seriously with his slang, but for some reason, he can also turn out as a calm professional, but he's a well-meaning guy either way. Regardless of mood, his favorite music genre is clubbin', but "easy listening" types meant to make one chill out bores him. This also got him on good terms with the DJ Lucio, and the Orange Star CO has started learning more rad beats to jam to.
- There are some debates as to whether Jake was right to shoot Von Bolt's chair in the end or not. Most think he is given how many soldiers die already in the battle against Black Hole, but there are also those who think that there is a difference between giving orders and doing the deed yourself.
- Exclusive to Blue Moon COs:
- Due to his friendliness and his association with snow, Elsa's snowlem Olaf is a favorite of Blue Moon to hang around, particularly Colin and CO Olaf (as much as the latter tries to hide it sometimes). The latter's forces also tend to use the snowlem's temple as a staging ground for drills. There's even been talks about some of them being stationed there permanently to help the snowman defend his holdings. Naturally, this courtesy is extended to Elsa herself.
- Given how his Powers work, Olaf is naturally adverse to those capable of bringing forth rain (if they can't or don't do snow as well), though he's not that opposing unless they're specifically antagonizing him.
- He is often compared to Santa Claus because of his snowy, white beard, unless it happens to be brown at the time. He even has a red coat for the occasion, to make the appearance uncanny. He often helps as the ideal Mall Santa because of his appearance, and he's highly regarded by other Santas in the Pantheon despite Olaf's grouchiness.
- Besides the snowlem, Olaf has become familiar with others that share his name.
- Unlike Elsa's creation, he showed no sympathy toward the Count due to his abusive nature to the children he adopted for their fortune. The Count, in turn, treads quietly around the CO: one misstep, and he can be sure that winter will come early.
- Another Olaf has since showed up, this one being a fat Viking. This Olaf is rather amused by the Lost Viking's rather "dim" nature, but knows better then to remark on it...Olaf has made some unfortunate mistakes in the past.
- One thing that's confusing is the fact that Olaf's hometown is in Blue Moon, yet he spent some time in the Orange Star Army as Nell's superior before defecting (back?). Why did he serve time in a foreign nation before going back to his homeland? Did his hometown use to be in Orange Star territory before being annexed into Blue Moon's? Or was Blue Moon splintered from Orange Star after an unspecified civil war? Naturally, he's not clearing that up.
- Many Russian and Soviet commanders have come to respect him because of his ability to call in the snow to slow the enemy down, as well as for the similarities his country shares with the Motherland. It is their way of remembering General Winter, who saved their country from many invasions like Napoleon's or Hitler's invasions.
- Red Skull is, in a similar vein, not impressed with the CO. He has no good memories of General Winter and his powers.
- Olaf sympathizes with the Courier, since their hometown were destroyed, even if the destruction was their own (yet very much unintended) doing.
- Speaking of his hometown, it's destruction is why he's still leery of Lash, who was the culprit as a result of her experiments. It's only the fact that he was away at the time that she was able to set up her inventions at his territory for Blue Moon at all with the other Blue Moon COs' help.
- He is rather impressed by Katyusha for her skill at tanking in the snow and learning from a school whose architecture is reminescent of Blue Moon's. Though sometimes, her abrasiveness and pride remind him too much of his shameful years at Cosmo Land.
- Grit is known to be very lax but is very friendly toward his allies. That said, he doesn't appreciate bad guys who like to terrorize people (just ask Adder's tank division...oh wait, he bombarded them all with Rockets and Artillery~!). In addition, he was smart enough to take Sonja up on her offer to cooperate and track the true mastermind behind the war, Sturm, in Cosmo Land.
- While he doesn't own any as far as anyone knows, Grit has a liking for cats, and has a disdain for rats.
- Do not underestimate Colin for his age and his anxiousness, for he is perhaps one of the most effective commanders you can meet on the battlefield. Even if his troops are below baseline, his day-to-day benefits and CO Powers more than make up for it. It was his talent that helped Blue Moon repel the Black Hole invaders from their lands. In case you're still skeptical, here's the maximum extent of Colin's Power of Money
.
- As rich folks who use their wealth on behalf of their nation and their army, Sasha and Colin dislike the following rich folks.
- Seto Kaiba, for just doing whatever the hell he wants, regardless of the rules. Yes, maybe the two aren't much better at that "rule-breaking", but they use it for Blue Moon.
- The Reagan siblings and Princess Morbucks for their completely selfish attitudes.
- While he's an enemy to all the Allied Nations COs, the siblings in particular don't approve of Sundowner for his shameless war-profiteering.
- Exclusive to Yellow Comet COs:
- Just like Olaf, Kanbei has done a number of stupid things back in Cosmo Land and is ashamed of it, but at least he was in the right to defend his territory when Orange Star approached it in pursuit of Olaf. Though he could've at least called out to them to get each other's intentions clear...
- Some think it's a bit ridiculous given how much he's overprotective of his daughter given they're both competent COs in their own right and she's proven herself a couple times during the Macro Land war, but one should remember that Sonja was actually captured once by Sturm while tracking him down during the Cosmo Land conflict.
- (those who would fight to protect all their territory, strategic value be damned)
- Back when they were both co-deities for Fog of War and Defog of War, Sonja was asked why she didn't settle for Lin as a herald and brought her up as a co-goddess instead. Her reply was that while the Pantheon isn't as disbelieving in having a kid in command (given that Andy is here and all), 1) she would feel more secure with a more experienced partner, and 2) it's a favor for the rest of Brenner's Wolves (before Lin eventually rejoined them).
- Has no time for the Toy Ship teasing between her and Andy just because they're the youngest COs in their world (aside from Colin). The only thing she has for him is respect as a CO, when she tested him (as well as Max and her rival Sami) during the battle in Cosmo Land.
- Speaking of those battles, after hearing about them, Lash called her out for calling her out back during the Macro Land conflict. Sonja replied that she has a specific purpose fighting the Orange Star COs; test their (and their Advisor's) tactical prowess, as well as making sure the conflict's mastermind (Sturm, though she didn't know him by name yet) didn't get suspicious.
- Always makes sure that she's well guarded, having had the unfortunate luck of being a hostage once before, though that was admittedly her own fault when she went investigating. No one knows how that one even worked.
- Sensei like lazy, rainy days, but dislikes busy malls. Apparently, prior to his CO days, Sensei used to be a hot and fiery volcanologist. Additionally, Kanbei wasn't his only student back in his youth; apparently, so was Hachi prior to the future Emperor, but neither are divulging any details.
- Sensei just prefers the idyllic life, and as such usually hangs back at the home territory when he's not being pulled along by someone else. Given his relationship with Hachi, they're a terror of a Tag Team when forced on the defense.
- Grimm loves his donuts, and isn't too keen on making plans (not that the two have anything to do with each other, of course). This has gotten him on good terms with deities Aoi Asahina and Leeroy Jenkins. And while he's technically retired from wrestling, Grimm sometimes takes his days off at the Wrestling Federation to join in a few matches.
- Exclusive to Green Earth COs:
- Ryoma Nagare feels some sort of similarity with the main three Green Earth COs and himself and his Getter Robo co-pilots, given both have an air combat specialist (Ryoma, Eagle) that constantly bickers with his friend who is a ground specialist (Hayato, Jess) and a fat guy that specializes in naval combat (Musashi and Benkei, Drake).
- Having been an aviator before becoming a CO, Eagle gets along with others with the same profession, such as Launchpad McQuack despite his tendency to crash, Cpt. Booth of Black Cat Mantaray 5-4 and Lt. Commander Dick Best, and Taylor Earhardt. Sometimes, he flies a Fighter jet himself for old times sake, though he's immediately landing and getting on command if the need arises for him.
- Would like to remind people that his lucky goggles are for when in an airplane. They are not for swimming. In fact, he doesn't like that particular activity.
- As a man of the seas, Drake prefers to be out sailing whenever he has the chance. He's also quite the acrophobe, though something like a crow's nest or its equivalent highest point probably doesn't count as "too high" for him.
- While the Sea King is enemies with both Allied Nations and Black Hole for being humans, Drake is the one in most trouble against him due to his bringing forth rain whenever his army is in the field, whether by increased chance or by his own CO Powers. In case it isn't obvious, a monster who benefits in the rain and a CO who can call it forth is a recipe for disaster for everything in the Sea King's range.
- (armies with supply issues that would benefit greatly with Jess)
- Despite his knightly demeanor, Javier sees the merits in stealth units and will use them accordingly. He still detests doppelgangers, though, as well as being required to retreat, given he's a man of honor.
- (Javier and Don Quixote?)
- Exclusive to Black Hole COs:
- It was unclear in regards to the fates of Flak and Adder between Sturm's final defeat and the war in Omega Land, but in terms of their allegiance in the Pantheon, Adder has chosen to slither away to Von Bolt's faction while Flak decided to stay with Hawke's faction. The Allied Nations weren't too comfortable with the latter, least of all Orange Star (especially Max, given his and Flak's similarities), but Hawke can keep Flak too busy for him to tangle with them too much. And given how Adder is, perhaps it was for the best that he's out.
- Thanks to the Bolt Guard, Black Hole now has its ranks bolstered by clones of Allied Nations COs, but due to certain parts of the cloning process, they always look like Palette Swaps of their templates. They also have a limited lifespan, so they're only useful for warfare. Apparently, according to Lash, it takes an entire month's energy expenses of a single country to make one or two clones, though that's not an issue in the Pantheon. That said, it does bring up the question as to whether CO Powers are genetic, which would probably explain the younger ones (Andy, Colin, Jake) being eligible for command.
- If one ever sees an Allied Nations CO cooperating with one of GUAE's Black Hole COs, assume 1) they're a clone, 2) there's a bigger foe to handle (in which case they'll explain), or 3) they're being blackmailed or held hostage.
- Some people have asked Lash whether Jugger was Flak in a suit or brain-transferred-into-a-robot given how similar they both are. She assures that is not the case. Well, the part about Flak at least.
- That said, while both rely on luck to land blows, Flak's actually a bit more reliable due to charging his CO Power faster than Jugger and a less erratic luck spread. Though given how he is, that's not saying much.
- Theoretically, Sturm can Tag with another CO, given he's never done it before back then (because he was killed by Hawke before the war in Omega Land began). But give just how much charge is needed to use his Super CO Power, he's not compatible with most COs.
- Due to the lengths they were willing to go through for their own goals, Sturm and Von Bolt actually don't get along, given the latter would do everything just for himself to survive, while the former is willing to destroy himself if it means destroying all his foes as well if he's cornered.
- While the Black Onyx satellite (meant to project a protective barrier around a structure) was a big deal back in Omega Land, the existence of space warfare makes it no longer as threatening as it would've been as there are units that can easily handle a satellite like that.
- Unlike the "only one" limit the Allied Nations have, Von Bolt's Black Hole is able to produce several Oozium-238s through their mysterious methods. This would be a terror to behold given its ability to wipe out just about any squadron in one go (even those in the air, but not on the sea since it doesn't float), as well as its invulnerability to all "global effect" CO Powers, were it not for the fact that there are far more powerful beings in the Pantheon who can deal with such things easily, as demonstrated when Rimuru Tempest once took on a few (plus other Black Hole troops) by himself, subduing it with his magic before deciding to absorb it into himself. That said, for modern armies, More Dakka is usually the best solution in dealing with Oozium, preferably really fast ones like those for taking down planes. For the Allied Nations, their Anti-Airs are the best choice.
- While Flak is Dumb Muscle most of the time, he seems to have a sixth sense in regards to how well or badly his luck would play out, thus he sometimes does almost nothing after using his CO Power, or has his army go ham on the opposition with weak units and cream them. The Commander doesn't have this sense whenever they're advising Flak, though. He's also a meat-eater through and through, and dislikes vegetables.
- (Lash: amoral scientists who eventually join the heroes because of circumstances) There's Dr. Neo Cortex, who's had to work with the heroes, only to try and betray them near the end every time. Same for Dr. Nefarious.
- Adder is a narcissistic egotist to the core, likes his own face, and hates things that could dirty him.
- While Von Bolt and Sturm's Black Hole in general is loathed by anyone heroic, Adder in particular is despised by Eirika and Ephraim due to being a sore reminder of General Valter appearance-wise and in terms of ambition and attitude.
- In terms of personality and appearance, Hawke is eerily reminiscent of the Ishvalan avenger Scar, as pointed out when the Black Hole defector was greeted by one Alphonse Elric while at a coffee house, only to realize she got the wrong guy. He listened patiently as the young Amestris State Alchemist described Scar to him and made comparisons between the two, both being large light-haired dark-skinned men who opposed the heroes before eventually siding with them later on, and were less evil than the main villains even then.
- He would eventually encounter Scar while the Ishvalan was wandering a battlefield that concluded in Allied Nations victory and Hawke's forces were moving out.
- As stated above, it's not certain whether Jugger really is a robot, or just a man in a suit who behaves like what he thinks robots would. He's in no mood to answer this. Either way, he has a liking for energy, and a disdain for static electricity.
- (Koal has a liking for poetry and ramen, while holding disdain for fondue)
- As a typical snooty elite socialite, Kindle prefers what's chic and turns up her nose on whatever's passé
- She could care less about the lesser snobs like the Reagans, but Kindle hit it off much better with Princess Morbucks, being fellow rich bitches. She's even helped her with an attempt on some city takeover, and coupled with the Black Hole CO's city benefits, they were a very formidable pair. While ultimately thwarted, Kindle saw it in her best interests to keep in touch with the little villainess, inevitably putting her in the crosshairs of the Powerpuff Girls as a result.
- As a mean senior obsessed with living forever, Von Bolt is constantly looking for other backup methods just in case his chair gets destroyed again. One particular source of interest is the Lazarus Pit, but he naturally met heavy resistance from Ra's Al Ghul and his League of Assassins. To add insult to injury, his daughter Talia took the chance to do what the League did best and made sure Von Bolt would think twice before trying again.
- Being a very despicable man, Von Bolt has no positive bonuses with anybody when pulling off a Dual Strike, and negative modifiers with all Allied Nations COs plus the Black Hole defectors.
Good afternoon/morning everyone, hope all is well with you all.
I just wanted to ask a quick little something. So, the House of Crime and Transgressions has a set of figureheads within it, The Great Felony Ten, with plans for Bonnie and Clyde to be added to the roster in the near future. This leads to a small request I wish to make.
Would it be possible for Captain Jack Sparrow, which I'm currently reworking, to be added to the roster as well? The reason for it is that piracy is still a major form of criminal activity and Jack is considered one of the signature pirate characters in the last 20 years. Now yes, this would mean the roster would become The Great Felony Eleven but then again, it helps match with Ocean's Eleven due to its roster.
EDIT:
Same one he had previously. Pirate.

- Complicated relationship with: Rhaegar Targaryen (Apollo only)
- In Greek mythology, there were two sets of brother and sister who held divinity over the sun and moon. The original solar and lunar deities were Helios and Selene. They were the kids of Titans Hyperion and Theia, and their job was to carry the sun and the moon across the sky through chariots and flying horses. Later on Zeus had twins with Leto, Apollo and Artemis. Though they usually do not carry the literal sun and moon around they are heavily associated with the sun and moon. They're the more well-known of the two due to having larger roles; Apollo is a god of music, dance, beauty and plague among other things, while Artemis is a goddess of the hunt, virginity, women and childbirth.
- Applies to all of them
- When they ascended, both sets of siblings had separate profiles. Zeus ended up recognizing their similarity and combined the three profiles into one: Male Sun, Female Moon. His motive showed he could be sound: safety in numbers against his father Cronus and son Kratos, who tore Helios' head off. They're smart enough not to go after the latter's kid Atreus, of course.. As they are Greek gods, their relationship with other family members is complicated. Hera tried to stop the twins' mother from birthing them, and under Zeus they only begrudgingly tolerate each other There's is warmth in the family, however: Helios and Vulcan are on good terms since he helped expose Aphrodite's affair with Ares and humiliate them. Apollo and Artemis love their little brother Hermes for being a loavable scamp, the former admitting their dad was right; him stealing his cattle as a baby was hilarious.
- Helios looked for his steeds within the grand list of Pokémon as the Ponyta line are similar to his own fiery horses. This got the attention of his sister along with the twin deities, who soon made friends with Nebby as it is an emissary of the sun (Solgaleo) or moon (Lunala). The four initially distusted Necrozma because of its Dark and Troubled Past leading it to devour light, however the legendary has reformed. Plus given Necrozma was exploited and abused by mortal beings, they understand its wrath. Due to their clear symbolism, Solrock and Lunatone are popular among the deities as well.
- Selene and Artemis have Oryx on their hitlist given that the Hive have made it a habit to hollow out moons to use as ramming ships, and they tried to pull that shit on the Earth’s Moon. They left quite the mark
◊. All four deities oppose the Vex since one vision into the Bad Future where succeeded in ensuring their domination and assimilating everything, including turning the sun itself into Vex. Because of that, they’re more than happy to help the Guardians, given that their mortal enemies include the aforementioned two since they have thwarted the Hive on the moon and stopped the Almighty from making the sun go into a supernova. On Helios’ side, it helps that one of the three elements that the Guardians use is Solar.
- After yet again fending off the Bringers of Everlasting Night from taking control of the moon, they noticed that on it was a lone Tenno taking on both Grineer and Corpus forces through utilizing both the Night Form's supportive and the Day Form's aggressive roles. After helping deal with the remaining enemy forces they find out that the Tenno as a whole owe it to the moon after the revelation that their actual bodies were stored and hidden there thanks to the Lotus spiriting away the entire thing into the Void.
- Being solar and lunar goddesses, never try to bring about The Night That Never Ends or Helios and Apollo will inflict bloody vengeance, and an Endless Daytime will get you a similar wrath from Semele and Artemis. The latter two are also disgusted by Queen Beryl and the Dead Moon Circus, especially Nehelenia, for committing genocide on the moon's life and making it uninhabitable. Their connection to Chaos only fuels their hatred, and the two (especially Selene) have given their full support to Sailor Moon. For Helios and Apollo Chernabog has sworn to destroy them once and for all, and Zs'Skayr is frustrated that their luminance would deny him his conquests.
- Applies to some of them
- Helios and Selene use chariots in order to move the sun and moon across the sky; as mentioned, Helios' steeds are fiery horses. Selene uses oxen or bulls. Naturally, on their off-time they like to be around the Ungulates. Selene has a soft spot for Miltank, while Helios likes to be around the various horses there. He is particularly fond to Agro, Epona and Black Beauty for their worthiness as steeds. Other steeds like Yoshi have Helios and Selene's approval.
- While it's more something Helios is concerned about, he and Apollo heeded Superman's warning that a being known as Solaris might try poison the sun. There was also a time one time when the Eds broke reality by being curious. During that time, Eddy once took a bite out of the sun and turned it into the moon. Helios doesn't appreciate such defacement, though he's more confused on how a normal kid even did so in the first place, never mind the fact that he went behind it to do so. Apollo told him he should probably ignore the absurdity and focus on helping Superman with their solar powers.
- Apollo and Helios both want to get other solar deities on their side, however their interactions fall under the Red Oni, Blue Oni type. Apollo wants to prove he's better than Ra, what with having the role of The Ace in mythology, but it's more playful than anything. And it's for the best given Apophis wants to devour the Greek deities of the sun because even if it took out Ra, they could keep the sun around in the Trope Pantheon. Apollo tends to be more straightforward working with the Japanese goddess of the sun, Amaterasu. Meeting other pantheons has made Helios feel good because other pantheons recognize The Power of the Sun more than the Greeks. The two are also friendly with Oberyn Martell given his free-loving yet passionate and affable lifestyle, along with having a red sun as part of his family sigil.
- Never deface the moon or gods forbid, destroy it unless you want Selene and Artemis to tear you a new one. Especially Selene; she doesn't like Kirby for taking out a chunk of the moon when fighting Nightmare. Even Artemis thinks her being mean to Kirby is a bit much given Nightmare should really be blamed, causing her to admit "hey, you have plenty of roles outside of being a lunar deity, let me have this one!" Both agreed that they were going to give Dr Eggman a Fate Worse than Death for blowing up half the moon with the Eclipse Cannon as a show of power. And as Eggman's Arch-Enemy, both goddesses have recently been aiding Sonic. They're also salty over Gru shrinking and stealing the moon that one time despite him reforming, and while Majora was manipulating him to crash the moon into Termina they still don't get along with the Skull Kid.
- Though the gods lack an incest taboo, Apollo and Artemis don't have any desire for Twincest; Artemis is a virgin goddess and while Apollo tricked her into killing Orion just because she was considering him as her boyfriend, it is not a Murder the Hypotenuse situation. The two share the annoyance Mabel and Dipper get at whenever people like to bring up "Pinecest". Orion is notably the only man she's ever been interested in, and after the incident she's grown a disdain for yanderes and those who'd Murder the Hypotenuse. Within the Hall of Twins Apollo and Artemis have genuine respect for Dipper and Mabel and their accomplishments, along with being on good terms with Tyrion and Teclis who also are associated with light.
- Apollo and Artemis are very close to their mother Leto, perhaps too close-when Niobe boasted she had more kids than Leto and they were better than Leto's, she had the twins take her kids out. In their defense this kind of hubris was a lot more serious back then, but it's still a dick move. Helios is more reasonable when it comes to his family by comparison, as seen with his granddaughter Medea: he gave her special poison and a chariot to get away from Jason. It's kind of awkward for him to mention given what Medea's revenge against Jason looked like, but to abridge thinks Jason had burned his bridges so much the other gods favored Medea. That said they can also give great boons to mortals: the twins serve as the Personas of Tatsuya Suou and Maya Amano, and they respect their strong familial bond.
- Applies to Helios only
- Though he is still allied with Zeus, there's a sore spot in that Zeus killed his son Phaethon. As this was to stop Phaethon from accidentally dropping the sun on the Earth, he can't blame the Skyfather for being responsible but it still hurts. He's not going to give that sort of clemency to Odysseus however, since he failed to stop his men from eating his daughter's red cattle. As he smote his men for this, the feeling's mutual. Another sore spot is when Heracles shot at the sun in frustration. Helios either begged him to stop and Heracles demanded for the cup of the Delphic tripod, or Heracles apologized profusely and Helios out of courtesy gave him said cup. Neither are straight with the facts when asked; it all depends on their mood.
- The whole incident with his son was over him trying to prove he was his kid, only to prove he had no viable way the drive the chariot. As such, despite the love he has for his son Helios is well-aware it was a boneheaded move he had to tolerate because he swore on the River Styx, and he hates it when people drive like crazy. Helios isn't comfortable with deities who specialize in decapitation either, such as Charles-Henri Sanson. This has more to do with Kratos ripping his head off, though. He isn't a fan of Zim either, though this has less to do with any threat he posesnote or past trauma, but because Zim accuses him of temporarily blinding him. Why? He stared at the sun for directions and now blames Helios for booby-trapping the sun. Helios...didn't know how to respond to such pure stupidity.
- Tatsuya and Maya formed a connection with him when the former felt something familial around Helios and the latter felt something intimate with him. As it turns out, his brother Katsuya (and Maya's lover) had Helios as his Persona. He has formed somewhat of a connection, or more accurately pity towards Eva Wei and Shoto Todoroki. He feels bad at the abuse the latter suffered by his father and his struggle to not be compared to him, as it's quite a contrast to the relationship he had with Phaethon. For the former he supports her desire for her dad to know of her, but has given her advice not to get herself into dangerous situations to do so.
- Applies to Apollo only
- The beardless youth Apollo presides over beauty, music, health and diseases. He initially ascended to the Trope Pantheon under the Swan Boats trope, as swans draw his chariots. You can find Apollo in the House of Musicality singing beautiful songs, in the Hall of Birds protecting Odette when she transforms, or in the House of Health and Diseases dealing with illnesses. Nurgle and the horseman Pestilence have tried to get Apollo to embrace his power as a Plague Master, but this has only earned them the gods' enmity. Typhus hopes to take his diseases for himself. Peryite, however, prefers to study Apollo from a distance. He has a quiver of pain-inducing arrows to punish gods like Regime Superman for storming Olympus.
- As the original god wielding Light Arrows, he is impressed over Zelda being able to wield them just as well as he does. Naturally, a lot of evil gods who abhor light, especially Ganondorf want nothing more than his arrows to be destroyed as they are their only weakness. While flawed, he is an "averter of evil" and holds a working relationship with the GUAG when he's not off doing whatever. Ahura Mazda feels Apollo is a bit of a jerk, but won't deny the results he gets. Angra Mainyu was frustrated since he assumed the Greek pantheon were too busy being dicks to single out him.
- Apollo's one of the nicer Greek gods, but he can still act like a major dick. Just ask Cassandra: she wasn't into him, so he gave her prescience nobody would believe. Being blamed for stuff they warn about, Absol doesn't like Apollo. He can have a serious temper too. Zeus occasionally strips him of his divinity and tries to humble him. One of his more heroic acts was stopping the evil plans of Caligula, Nero and Commodus; power really went to their head. Commodus and Apollo's relationship is especially heated since they used to date, however Apollo eventually assassinated him under the guise of his fitness instructor. He doesn't like the female Nero either because he thinks her singing is awful and yet she claims she's better than him!
- Chris Hansen was not amused by Apollo's antics as he heard he was a creep and asked him to take a seat; more specifically, he wanted to call him out for his chasing of Daphne. To Apollo's credit he didn't pretend the incident didn't happen, but he did give decent enough justification: Eros had hit him with a love arrow to fall madly in lust with Daphne and she was hit by a hate arrow, so he wasn't exactly in control of his actions. If anything, Eros is the guilty party. That said, a lot of Apollo's proper relationships end badly, with an unusual amount of his lovers becoming plants. Apollo tends to avoid the House of Plants because of bad memories, though not the House of Love and Affection since he feels he'll have more luck in love in the modern times.
- Comparisons were made between Apollo's time as a mortal and Thor, who was also humbled as a mortal by his father under different circumstances. They don't have enough hobbies to get along and tend of compete in sports, or music contests. When not in a contest, Apollo and Thor like to talk about their experiences. Their rivalry is primarily fueled by Zeus, Thor's primary rival. Why all the effort? Simple: if his son can beat Thor, it gives him the confidence that theirs is a lopsided rivalry (his thoughts, not ours).
- If you haven't got it already, don't try to get with Artemis. He tends to get 'complaint letters' from Artemis' most devout follower, Atalanta, but Apollo usually mistook it as 'love letters' since he's so good looking... but then prefers that Atalanta won't switch prayers, she fits better with his sister. Apollo's been dubbed a "sore loser/winner" due to flaying Marsyas over excessive hubris in trying to one-up his lyre skills. Ramsay wanted to get Apollo's autograph for this, which wasn't something he wanted to hear. While Apollo is capable of some real unpleasant actions, he is still disgusted by how horrible Ramsay is.
- Prince Edward is one of the few Apollo considers both a follower and a friend; it's said that behind closed doors the two have quite a laidback jam session as they play on their lyre/harp that many who have heard them say it was poetry in sound form. The young Rito girl Medli is amazed at his skills and he himself enjoys listening to her Earth God's Lyric. However, Apollo's relation with the Prince of Dragonstone is quite rocky. On one hand, he considers him a brave warrior, a decent harp player, and a good husband. On the other side, his choice of both Prince Paris and Helen as high priests leaves him with a sour taste in his mouth as despite being on the side of the Trojans during the Trojan War, his cursing of Cassandra leaves him quite unpopular with them. So, unlike Medli and Edward, he keeps his distance from him.
- Applies to Selene only
- She's not at all pleased to learn that Typhon ascended; the reason that the moon has craters is that she tried to fight him, but he kicked her ass. She certainly wasn't happy at Palpatine due to being the mastermind behind the Death Star, which could not only blow up her precious moon but whole planets. The Galactic Emperor only laughed at this: he knows she could hate him for plenty of reasons, but chose to be utterly myopic about it.
- Selene is curious has to why Remnant's moon is only half-intact, the other half shattered into a dense field of debris. It couldn't be Remnant's civilizations as they lack any kind of space technology. And then she discovered the true culprits, and despised those gods for it. She was behind the moon's removal from the list of Astronomical Bodies to protect it. Being a Titaness embodying the moon while Artemis is more a guardian/ideal figure of it, she is often sought out by the pantheon's werewolves. Vicious bastard he is Fenrir Greyback immediately got on the wrong foot, but the other werewolves are welcome to get a boon from her should they prove themselves worthy of it.
- Not as much of a predator as her sister Eos, but by modern standards her fathering 50 children with her immortal, sleeping boyfriend Endymion is seriously creepy. She tries to justify it by his ever-sleeping being unintentional (she wanted to freeze him in a moment of time to avoid a Tithonus situation but he was asleep at the time) and him content with it, though that didn't stop her having to register as a sex offender when in the House of Love and Affection. It's worth noting unlike her brother she's comparatively monogamous, only having two other couples (one of which is Helios). For what it's worth, she does respect happy and genuine relationships.
- Because of the mistake with Endymion Selene doesn't like the Jackass Genie or Literal Genie tropes, which is why she gives Calypso and Erazor Djinn the stink-eye. They aren't outright enemies because their goals don't demean or threaten Selene, but they don't get along. Despite also being a Jackass Genie Desiree wants to avoid being on bad terms as she sympathizes with how her love story ended, because of her past rejection by a sultan. Despite initially being hesitant to make friends with her, and the chaos the genie causes, the two eventually became friends with this. Desiree even tried to wake up Endymion free of a catch, but couldn't since she isn't strong enough to undo what Zeus did.
- Applies to Artemis only
- Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis is mistress of the bow. It's said that her arrows can cause instant deaths between females. Of the goddesses, unless they prove themselves she doesn't have a strong opinion on men. She's a virgin goddess, which is why she and Aphrodite have beef. That said it isn't serious beef and it might help that her brother Apollo gets along with Aphrodite due to consoling her over the loss of Adonis. Due to her role as a goddess of chastity she tends to scoff at best at female members of the lust halls. However, she will only punish those who are part of her hunting group if they break their chastity...just ask Callisto. Since her own mom was turned into a bear, Meridia was quick to call this a major dick mood since said chastity was broken by Zeus disguising himself as Artemis and, well...
- While she'll make an exception for her dad and siblings, Artemis isn't fond of perverted men like Zapp, who had the gall to try and hit on her...he was fortunate she was in a good mood. Just for an example of her wrath: when a peeping tom called Actaeon caught her bathing she turned him into a stag that got hunted by his own dogs. The memetic dog Cheems sought to work with Artemis in order to join in punishing and "bonking" both perverts who come near her and members of her group who break their vow of chastity. Her brother and Helios weren't fond of this as Cheems keeps harassing them with a bat for being horny.
- Apparently one of her most sacred animals are pigs, specifically wild boars. She sometimes offers to train Pumbaa to become as deadly as her pet Tusky (AKA the Calydonian Boar). She also holds dearly the deer as it was the first animal she ever caught, hence her closeness to Bambi and Xerneas. She and Flutterfly ended up bonding over their love of animals, and as sacred beast she and Holo are close. One of the few men she bonded with was Android 17 due to being a really good and passionate park ranger, along with a twin like her. Apollo naturally accused 17 of wanting to hook up with his sister, but 17's marriednote so Artemis told him to stop being a tool.
- As the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis prides herself as the greatest archer ever. And since she is a Greek God, saying other archers are better than her usually ends badly. This has made her see some archers in the Pantheon as rivals. Her biggest rival, however, is with Windranger. Though, it's mainly based on that Artemis hates it when others say the two are similar despite the two having different personalities. She's able to get in touch with her favorite "worshipper", Atalanta, and found her to have things in common with her together. Artemis has claimed that anyone that can make her Tusky bleed is worthy, like her. Still, she'd avoid spooking Atalanta with her ditzy form...
- She likes to visit Aloy's temple to go on the hunt. Natural game? Easy enough. The mechanical beasts? Artemis loves a challenge. Through their love of the hunt, a friendship is born...although Artemis is a tad bit peeved with Aloy being somewhat friends with Kratos. Whenever Artemis comes calling, all male suitors and admirers stay away from Aloy's home. After hearing what she had done to Actaeon when he spied her bathing, discretion is the better part of valor. Hell; even when Artemis loves someone it's not a guarantee you'll be safe. Why's Caligula insane? Under her Roman incarnation Diana her love for him is what drives her mad. As a Machine God her insanity-inducing attacks can cancel Caligula's madness out and give him temporary lucidity.
- There are some deities, those from the Fate universe, in particular, that call her out on not liking those who're Stripperiffic yet she had a revealing costume. When questioned about this, Artemis only denies the accusation, saying she was going through a phase at the time. For those wondering, she can be summoned as a Servant under the identity of Orion. It also allowed her to learn fluent Japanese, but she starts acting like a lovestruck airhead so she doesn't like doing it. She also has the form of a big ol' robot in this form. This mechanical form comes at the cost of her father Zeus being (more) tyrannical, fueling the ire of SCP-2578-D: a Kill Sat who is unable to target Zeus with Artemis' Machine God form intercepting it.
- Seeing as how the main animal associated with her is a deer, the Baratheon brothers were interested in her. Mainly Robert, though not for the obvious reason; he loves a good hunt and likes Artemis' skill in the field. Artemis is alright with this, but has advised them not to get involved because of her "no boys allowed" rule. She did suggest to Stannis he could make some small talk to Hades in one of his better moods, as she feels the two would get along. Also, while the goddess of the hunt she doesn't have much respect for outright poaching and considers Hunter J highly dishonorable. By contrast, warriors like her brother Hercules who fight and slay great monsters earn her respect. The Bronze Saints have also earned her respect in the past thanks to Athena.

- The middle son of Cronus and Rhea, Poseidon was one of five siblings Zeus rescued from the former's bellynote and joined to fight the titans. Afterwards an agreement was made: Zeus would rule the skies and be the Top God, Hades would lead the underworld and Poseidon would master the seas. Like the sea, Poseidon is a Mood-Swinger and temperamental. The sea, its beasts and its monsters are not the only thing he has domain over; he's the a god of earthquakes and creator of horses. As Zeus hurls his thunderbolts and Hades uses a helmet of invisibility, Poseidon has his own signature weapon: the trident. In Mycenean Greece Poseidon, rather than Zeus, may have been the Top God and he held chthonic elements that were possibly given to Hades in Hellenic Greece. Later on the Romans adapted him under the new name of Neptune.
- Poseidon's relationship with both his family and the rest of Greek mythology is an often difficult affair. It's easier to start with his father and siblings; for old man Cronus he shares their outrage for his God-Eating, and for big sister Hestia he agrees with the rest of the family she's awesome. With his younger brother Zeus, it's more strained due to his envy that Zeus' Always Someone Better. At one point he was part of an ill-planned coup with other gods, and at another he was so incensed he sided with the Titans for another. Zeus has ultimately forgiven him for giving his life to protect Olympus from the Titans and Kratos. His dynamic with the rest of his family also proves difficult.
- He's an ally of Palutena and friends as he hopes to thwart the wicked machinations of the imposter they call Hades. For a time he was under the impression that the other Hades was yet another imposter, however he turned out to truly be his brother. As he explained, he has a "bad side" brought about by mortals seeing him as an evil god for his feared role in the underworld. Normally while aloof, the two get along better than with Zeus because there's no dick-measuring contest. Interestingly in the Mycenean Greece period Poseidon may have held a chthonic Top God position not too different from Hades, meaning they may be closer to each other than they originally thought.
- Though they will join forces if need be, him and his niece Athena have a clear rivalry over the city of Athens. The latter may be their patron god, but Poseidon has done his damndest to prove he should be the patron god. He doesn't get along any better with her brother Ares, as he was aquitted for killing one of his sons as Ares did so to protect his daughter from being raped/avenged her rape. Beyond that, the two tend to ignore each other. As for Poseidon and his other brother? He initially got on the wrong foot thinking Hades turned bad and also planned to overthrow Zeus, but he explained this was more a "dark side" due to his unpopularity with the mortals. They still have trouble getting along though, given their polar opposite temperments.
- Despises Odysseus for blinding his son Polyphemus, making his return home truly miserable. He was wise to not call the god "Poolseidon" in spite, but still hates Poseidon and believes the god has no right to be angry as Polyphemus was blinded to avoid him and the rest of his crew from being eaten. The only person spared the wrath of killing a kid of his was Hercules, who took out the giant Antares...possibly because the giant was technically his uncle as Gaea was Antaeus' mother. Had a good laugh at Fry semi-unknowingly becoming his own grandfather, while acknowledging what he did. As with her grandchildren whether Gaea tolerates them or wants revenge for past slights depends on her mood.
- Despite his somewhat strained relationship with Hades, he really adores Hades' kid Zagreus. And while not the perfect parent, he tries to be a good one for Percy Jackson. He wasn't happy to see he left the Trope Pantheon and hopes he can return one day. Poseidon hopes his older kid (sort of) Theseus doesn't ascend, since even by Greek hero standards he's a Jerkass. And there's of course the fact that he and Zeus' demigod children were on the winning side in WWII. Which one/multiple? He's not saying, but rumor has it it's Winston Churchill.
- In a way, he created the Minotaur. When King Minos refused to sacrifice a bull to him because it was just too beautiful, Poseidon had his queen Pasiphe cursed to fall in love with the bull. She got the inventor Daedelus to build a wooden cow to lure the bull, and the sordid act created in the Minotaur. The beast is naturally ashamed and contemptous of his unnatural existence and would absolutely love to express his anger at Poseidon. The god of the seas doesn't even notice Prince Asterion, and defends his actions by saying "hey, I made your mom fall in love with a bull. I wasn't the inventor that made your conception possible".
- Just a small detail to note of his unascended extended family: Poseidon isn't the only and far from the first Greek Lord of the Ocean. Before he was born, the ocean was ruled by the Titans Oceanus and Tethys. Depending on the myth they're his parents-in-law, and they were one of the few Titans who took no side in the Titanomachy. And before them there was the primordial embodiment of the ocean, Pontus, who's the ancestor of minor sea deities and many a sea monster. Poseidon himself is the father of a conch shell-wielding merman called Triton, another sea god. Less fun is his son Arion, a horse who can talk, was sired by him forcing himself on Demeter missing her daughter. He's not proud of it or having been an Abhorrent Admirer and has been improving, but she understandably has a very hard time trusting him.
- Poseidon is known as a very hot-blooded and tempermental god, however his time with his son Percy has shown he has mellowed out over the centuries...one could argue Zeus fits the id nowadays than Poseidon. He's not exactly proud of his more unsavory pursuits, though he defends what he did with Medusa: she and Ovid claim he raped her and it isn't an uncommon interpretation, however earlier stories say the sex in Athena's temple was consensualnote , and some say Medusa was always a gorgon. The thorny issue of consent is seen with how the Super Gender-Bender gods don't know whether to condemn him for Caeneus
; a Lapith hero who used to be a woman but after sleeping or being rapednote had the wish to turn into an invinicble man granted.
- He has been taking his Roman form of Neptune more often, primarily when interacting with the denizens of Bikini Bottom as a merman. However he's still mercurial in his treatment of them, possibly because his Neptune form is frustrated at going bald. That, and the fact that when he tried to get Spongebob to be his fry-cook only to prove he's crap at cooking patties, which is why he studied under him for a time. Perhaps Plankton's most wicked scheme was to exploit this form's frustration at being bald by stealing his crown, sending it to the forbidden Shell City, and framing Mr Krabs as part of his Take Over the City plan. He also tried to brainwash Neptune with a mind-control bucket helmet and would've succeeded were it not for the might of rock and roll. Needless to say Plankton's ass is grass, and so will the Cyclops diver after he's done with the plankton.
- In the House of Water and Moisture, the wave moved when Poseidon first stepped into the Pantheon after his ascension. As the god of the ocean, he holds a domain within the House of Water and Moisture, even if he isn't a presiding member of the House. He's known for keeping a cage of sea monsters in his ocean home and known to send them on anyone that enraged him, especially the Kraken. Poseidon loves his sea monsters. As this includes Moby Dick and Monstro, along with his mastery of the seas and his tempermental nature, it's safe to say many sailors and sea-farers holds some fear of him. At the very least he doesn't treat SCP-169 as a pet, due to being so absolutely colossal even he knows you don't mess with it unless you want floods across the continents from its sheer size.
- There are some great sea creatures Poseidon is really fond of, and some he cannot stand. Despite sharing the great blue, the Kraekan are a force too gnarly for Poseidon. At least they don't pollute the ocean like Hexxus and Mr Burns would; despite being one of the more selfish gods, he wants a pristine sea and has chosen to work with Captain Planet to keep it that way. On the other hand, of the many sea creatures Lugia is one of his favorites due to being a mighty stormbringer and a Lord of the Ocean like Poseidon himself. The Greek god also holds an extra soft spot for Lagiarcus and Caedeus. And while he doesn't like Tamatoa persay, he does find the shiny giant crab an amusing sight. Just as long as he doesn't take any of his treasures, of course.
- He is not the only mythical water deity in the Trope Pantheon. There's Sobek, an even more mercurial Egyptian god who's the patron of the Nile. Barring ego, they are perhaps too similar and at some point a boast or a roast of each other led to conflict. Though rivals, they have too much fun to really hate each other. The two have taken a liking to Steve Irwin, and not just because of his handling of animals; Poseidon's fondness for creating/commanding dangerous sea beasts has him appreciate Steve's empathy for animals like crocodiles. For similar reasons, he and Rubeus Hagrid tend to get along. Another Friendly Rivalry Poseidon has is with Susano'o, the arrogant storm god. Perhaps they can relate to each other's Sibling Rivalry, or he was also banished for his bad behavior.
- He's interested in the Norse thunder god, as Thor was also turned into a mortal for a time...though this was because of his hubris rather than a consquence of a failed rebellion. Another being his was interested in is King Triton: he's not the same as his son, but he is certainly pleased to see him running his undersea kingdom. A good word was given by a mortal Lord of the Ocean, though fortunately for Poseidon he did not have that rank out of hubris: Arthur Curry, or Aquaman. Poseidon has helped out him and Atlantis from time to time. He is also someone who's aided Wonder Woman, though he can never get their exact relation straight. His allies aren't strictly heroic either, as he has a working relationship with the Sea King and Ocean Master.
- Though Poseidon is agreeable with some ocean lords, other great figures of the sea are not willing to play ball. And of course, Poseidon has had enough of playing second fiddle to Zeus. The dreaded Cthulhu doesn't seek to rule the oceans, but emerge from one when the stars are right to bring an end to the age of man. Poseidon considered the Great Old One an oversized octopus at first, only to be humiliated when the Lovecraftian super-star manhandled and threw him on the land. After a Rocky-style training montage, he returned to engage him in an epic battle, but even then needed distractions from Dagon to outright win and re-sink Cthulhu. He didn't thank Dagon for this as Dagon is more of a "political" rival due to being the god-father of the Deep Ones.
- As a god, he can withstand the horrid, mummifying sight of Cthulhu's son. However dealing with Ghatanathoa speeds up Poseidon's dehydration and he has to regularly rehydrate himself by conjuring freshwater. Palutena and friends have encouraged him to be pro-active in dealing with the entity, instead of simply regarding Ghatanathoa as an extension of his rivalry with the Great Old One's dad, as they weren't happy with him being an Aloof Ally who only helped with one chapter. Poseidon has regarded this as a mistake because he didn't treat "Hades" and his Underworld escapades with more contempt. That said, Poseidon is more misanthropic in this form as he sunk a city for its humans being too cruel and hubristic.
- A less frightening rival of Poseidon is Namor the Sub-Mariner, which is prompted by Namor and Poseidon's ally Aquaman already being rivals. The two are well-aware of their similarities and if anything that motivates them to prove they're better than each other. Another rival of Poseidon is Ulmo, the Valar Lord of the Ocean. Or more accurately, he was Poseidon's rival. The Greek sea god bit off more than he could chew learning the difference between a Greater God and an Overdeity, but after steaming for a bit admitted he really enjoyed their tussle. And he saw the advantage of having a calmer sea deity work with his hot-headed self. The Valar managed to convince Poseidon that Melkor would prove a threat to the seas he governs too, though Poseidon sometimes gets too distracted to help with that.
- Among Poseidon's role of the god of oceans, he is also the god of horses and one of his offspring is Pegasus, the winged horse. Pegasus himself is rather conflicted with Poseidon's "side" of the story and method of his birth, and most equine deities seem to not care about heeding his call, much to his frustration. Though he doesn't play favorites with the pantheon's horses, he has a real soft spot for them. Or those who are like horses, such as his half-brother Chiron. There is one horse-like deity he wants nothing to do with, however; the Nuckeleeve. Three guesses why. Given the Nuckeleeve Cannot Cross Running Water, the monster can do nothing...however, it is considering recruiting the Flood to completely destroy Poseidon's domain via assimilation and utterly ruin him.
- While Poseidon didn't create dolphins, he likes them even more as they can serve as his steed. True to his shifting mood he has give equals support to both Ecco and the Orca, despite their contrasting outlooks. He is also capable of creating earthquakes, hence his other name, Earth-Shaker. Earthshaker himself was rather flabbergasted that the god of the seas can also manipulate the earth and create earthquakes, even annoyed that he "copied" his title. Oh, and for those wondering, no he's not a merman. He generally gets along with merfolk, being within their domain, but he isn't one unless he wants to or is trying to interact with Bikini Bottom. Again, that would be his son Triton.
- The reason you don't hear his sexual exploits as much as his little brother is because he tends to bed sea-creatures, and not just the Cute Monster Girl type. He's bisexual and once had a kid with Nerites, the only brother to the Nereids. Their child was Anteros, god of requited love. Poseidon thinks Rikuo is a sexy fishman and has tried to wine and dine him, but it's gone unrequited as Rikuo is straight. Not that he isn't proud of the attention, and the god of the seas showed he can behave himself: impressed by him as a fish-man, he gave him blessings of power to use if need be as a sign of good faith.
- No, him being interested in Chaos is not because him wanting to bone them. He's not picky, but as with other powerful water beings mentioned not everything is a booty call. Instead he was simply curious about how a mere Chao became a powerful water elemental, and their great capacity for wrath and flood. He was also curious about Caligula's "war on the seas", as he initially thought it was hilarious he took seashells as a trophy. However he was soon infuriated by Caligula's madness-induced hubris by him believing he defeated Neptune and was a divine figure in life, leading to a smiting. The Greyjoys, rather than showing hubris, were intrigued by an actual sea deity and wonder if Poseidon has any connection to the Drowned God.
- Of the Greek gods, Poseidon is the one absolutely no Devil Fruit user wants to antagonize. His may not be the worst wrath of his family, but he is a walking, talking Achilles' Heel. Naturally he was most amused that his Roman name is the namesake of a powerful ancient superweapon. There are gods more willing to lay a complaint: Guts once fought and slayed a sea god, for example. Another example is Jack Sparrow, who dealt with murderous mermaids and other nautical foes. As a mercurial sea god Poseidon isn't trusted by people like Guts and Jack, but he didn't cause or create their nautical foes so they don't consider him an enemy either.
- Despite his temper Poseidon's non-villainous foes tend to be someone he has legitimate beef with like Odysseus. An exception to this is the Flying Spaghetti Monster; after accidentally spilling his pasta bowl, a hot flood fell from the sky and Poseidon got covered by half-cooked spaghetti and pasta sauce. Poseidon then proclaimed he would destroy the FSM and all he stands for, and he sent an earthquake to the Hall of Piracy. Needless to say Poseidon isn't allowed back in that Hall. Zeus thought his brother was being pretty petty, which Poseidon didn't even dignify with a response. A mechanical version of himself only made things worse due to despising pirates (especially Francis Drake), who are lionized in Pastafarianism. However said Machine God version of Poseidon was being brainwashed by the Lostbelt Zeus for trying to thwart his even more despotic rule over humans. Given the stint he just pulled on the Hall of Piracy, he'd already burned every bridge with them anyway.
- While his time with Percy Jackson has shown some maturity, Poseidon still has a dark side; the Bronze Saints know him as a villain who opposes mankind because he felt they were destroying the planet. Ra's was pleased by this mindset and while he couldn't make friends with the sea god, they like to talk about their issues with people together. And in another universe, his dark side is powerful as he has a pretty major Dark Secret: Cronus had a fourth son with Rhea called Adamas. Of whom Poseidon killed and purged from all records. One can only wonder how Percy would react if he ever found this out. Even if this is but one incarnation of Poseidon, he's determined no-one learn about it.

- Infanterie, also known as Regular German Infantry, Heer Infanterie, or simply Infantry, are the standard and most numerous type of infantry unit in the German Armed Forces during World War II, deployed exclusively on the continent on mainland Europe from France and Italy all the way to the steppes of Russia. While originally trained in mobile warfare, as evidenced by their heavy reliance on armored half-tracks and transport trucks, as the war turned against Germany they were constantly forced onto the defensive. As a result, they have increasingly become reliant on the use of static defensive emplacements placed in and around vital defensive positions such as crossroads, chokepoints, and important towns and cities.
- Compared to the Osttruppen, the Infanterie were far more competent soldiers, being better-trained and better equipped overall. The Infanterie also used motorized vehicles such as Opel Blitz Trucks and armored half-tracks, whereas the Osttruppen relied mostly on horse-drawn carriages to get around. The most notable difference between the two however, was that the German Infantry were issued with M35 Stahlhelms, rather than the field caps worn by the Osttruppen, though following the Normandy campaign, several German Infantry soldiers would be wearing similar field caps, due to the 709th Infantry Division (the original unit of the Osttruppen) being wiped out during the Battle of Cherbourg.
- At its most basic, the German Infantry squad is composed of: a Sergeant, a nine-man rifle element armed with Karabiner 98 kurz rifles, and 3-man light machine gun team. In 1944, most of the basic German squad level tactics would revolve around the use of the MG42 general-purpose machine gun. However, over the course of the Western Front campaign, these formations would be adjusted accordingly, depending on the infantry's current role and the current combat situation.
- For instance, anti-tank squads would be equipped mostly with submachine guns as well as anti-tank rocket launchers like the Panzerfaust and Panzerschreck, while formations accompanying armored half-tracks would be equipped mainly with Sturmgewehr 44 assault rifles. Other units deployed in urban areas, on the other hand, would exclusively carry MP 40 submachine guns for house-to-house engagements.
- As for the emplacements that they used, they were the German infantry type to have the biggest variety. The most common of these were MG 42 machine guns mounted on tripods, placed in sandbag fortifications. These would later be supplanted by portable MG 42 machine guns with bipod mounts, although the static nature of the emplacements that the machine guns were used in remained the same otherwise. In addition, they also utilized various artillery guns to defend against enemy onslaught. The three most common types were the Flakvierling 38 20mm anti-aircraft gun, the Pak 36 37mm anti-tank gun, and most infamously, The Dreaded Flak 36 88mm gun, which was capable of operating in not only both the Anti-Air and Anti-Vehicle role, but was also capable of being used effectively as an Anti-Infantry emplacement.
- During the Normandy campaign and later, Operation Market-Garden, these German infantry fought against members of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, as well as elements of the US 4th Infantry Division, US 2nd Armored Division, and British XXX Corps.
- In Normandy, their most notable actions would be against elements of the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, particularly against Sgt. Matthew Baker's and later Sgt. Joe Hartsock's squads in and around St. Come du Mont and later Baupte. Their fierce defensive actions would result in the death of Baker's close friend Sgt. George Risner, whose M5 Stuart Tank was ambushed by an anti-tank squad near St. Come. It would also be here that the German Infantry would first deploy the Flak 36 against the 101st, firing on Hartsock's 2nd Squad just outside of Baupte in a defensive action.
- During Operation Market-Garden, the German Infantry would once again oppose the actions of Baker's and Hartsock's now-1st and 2nd Recon Squads. During the Battle to capture Son, both their squads would be opposed by a German officer named Auckland, who specialized in using the 88mm Flak 36 in a Tactical Withdrawal method, moving his artillery gun back via transport half-track when the American paratroopers got close. Ultimately, Auckland and his men would be killed by Baker's squad, when they overran their final defensive positions near the destroyed Son Bridge. Further engagements with German infantry and their defensive emplacements would then take place in and around Eindhoven, in a series of defensive actions and counterattacks in an attempt to cut off the British offensive to Arnhem.
- In both campaigns, the German Infantry would ultimately be sidelined in favor of more experienced and battle-hardened German troop types, such as the Fallschirmjager and the Panzergrenadiers. Compared to the Regular Infantry, these Elite Mooks boasted better firepower in the form of more handheld automatic weapons, tank support, and most notably, uniforms with camo patterns on them, making them harder to spot overall. That said, their effective use of static defensive positions has earned the interest of several Nazis in the Pantheon. With the increase in Allied and Soviet troop presence in the Pantheon in recent years, the leading Nazis present in the Pantheon have decided to respond by bringing in reinforcements from other universes. While Elite Mook formations such as the Waffen-SS, Nazi Storm Elites, and Valkyrie Jager have proven useful, there simply aren't enough of them around to guard or defend most parts of German-controlled territory from Allied offensives or partisan attacks.
- And so, the leading Nazis present in the Pantheon eventually decided to ascend the equivalent of a full German Heer Infanterie Division into the Pantheon, to bolster their already-overextended forces. Upon their ascension, the entire Division is given the official title of The Unholy Legion of Dug-in Emplacements. Following this, several units of these German Infantry soon set out to different parts of the Nazi-controlled areas of the Pantheon, setting up various defensive positions, emplacements, outposts, and garrisons in and around contested areas or vital locations such as headquarters, staging areas, or production facilities.
- In addition to their standard-issue weaponry of bolt-action rifles, submachine guns, rocket launchers and the occasional STG 44, the Infanterie, like the Valkyrie Jager and the Waffen-SS before them, are also issued a number of more advanced weaponry such as the STG 46 and STG 60, courtesy of Nazi General Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse. What's more, their existing artillery guns and armored personnel carriers are either supplanted with some of "Deathshead"'s 1946 and even 1960s designs, or retrofitted and upgraded to match their alternate 1946 and 1960s counterparts. The German infantry themselves receive upgraded uniforms with body armor and more advanced comms devices, again from the alternate 1960s.
- Under the de facto leadership of Auckland (who ascended alongside his own men), the Infanterie begin operating in large numbers throughout different parts of the Pantheon. These include: in and around the hedgerows and villages surrounding Omaha Beach, the Dutch City of Eindhoven, and the northern forests and mountains of the Principality of Eylstadt. They end up relieving several other German units such as the aforementioned Valkyrie Jager and Waffen-SS and allowing the latter units to be either deployed to more important sectors or to be allowed to rest and resupply their now-depleted numbers. Upon being deployed to these areas, they soon begin setting up artillery and machine gun emplacements around vital positions, such as crossroads, villages, towns, cities, and mountain passes. As a result, they become the standard Mooks faced by both Allied and Soviet deities, as well as to other enemies of the Nazis.
- While comparatively less effective in infantry combat than their Elite Mook counterparts in the SS and Luftwaffe, the Heer soldiers make up for it with their larger numbers and their larger array of vehicles and gun emplacements. In addition, thanks to their possession of Anti-Air guns of different calibers, they're actually a huge threat to any Allied aircraft or flying deity they come across. It's for this reason that they're also tasked with defending airfields, factories, and port facilities, despite being far away from the frontlines.
- Like their SS and Luftwaffe counterparts, however, they are also known for committing their own series of war crimes, ranging from summary executions of paratroopers in sadistic ways, to executing French and Dutch civilians as reprisals for collaborating with Allied troops and resistance members. Soldiers such as Capt. Speirs and the members of Charlie Company, 2nd Ranger Battalion choose not spare any of these soldiers for this very reason. The former has executed prisoners before, as per his orders, while the latter found out the hard way that Sparing the Final Mook isn't necessarily a good thing, and thus refuse to take other chances that could lead to similar incidents from happening again.
- Thanks to their Anti-Air guns, they've become recurring foes for the Battlehawks and Izetta, as well as recurring allies of the Nemesis Squadron and Sophie, the formers' Evil Counterparts and arch nemeses. Given Sophie's Lack of Empathy and tendency to use her own allies as shields against her foes, many Heer Infanterie have been killed as a result, with many of their gun emplacements being used as a thrown Improvised Weapon against her foes. Many German Infantry, as a result, have learned to take cover whenever the White Witch is in combat close to their positions.
- Their first encounters with Allied troops are, unsurprisingly, various paratroopers from both the 101st Airborne Division and the 17th Airborne Division, who end up ambushing a number of their supply convoys during various skirmishes in Normandy and the Netherlands. Unsurprisingly, many of these German infantry, especially their commander Auckland, having remembered their bitter defeats and previous deaths at the hands of these paratroopers, become more determined when fighting against them, hoping to get revenge on their foes and killers. Auckland himself hopes to one day go after Staff Sergeants Matthew Baker and Joe Hartsock, the two men most responsible for his death and failure to defend the Dutch town of Son.
- Lt. Karl Fairburne and Lt. Mike Powell soon become constant thorns on the German Infantry's side, no thanks to their expertise in operating while Trapped Behind Enemy Lines. Being both Stealth Experts, they're able to silently kill dozens of these German Infantry, destroy their fixed weapons and vehicles with devices such as satchel charges and Anti-Vehicle mines, and escape almost completely unseen and/or unnoticed. It doesn't help that both OSS agents have fought German infantry regularly, and have already killed hundreds if not thousands of them in years of fighting in Europe and North Africa.
- Aside from the Western Allies, they've also been deployed against members of the Soviet Red Army present in the Pantheon. War-Torn Berlin in particular sees large numbers of these German infantry deployed in and around the city, in order to prevent the Soviets, as well as Western Allied agents, from capturing it and the vital industrial sectors dotting the city's suburbs. In addition, as mentioned before, these troops are also deployed in the Anti-Air role, manning the city's massive anti-aircraft defense network against threats from above, whether they be aircraft, a flying deity, or some large unaligned threat such as the dragon Smaug, who proved to be a threat to Axis operations after attacking a Japanese aircraft carrier carrying a shipment of looted gold.
- Much like their Western Allied foes, it's best to keep these German infantry away from the deities hailing from the Girls und Panzer universe, as they can easily mistake their tanks for the Germans' own, as well as those of the Allies and Soviets. This is especially the case with the likes of Katyusha and Darjeeling, whose British and Soviet tanks were mistakenly fired upon by the Germans' rocket launchers and anti-tank guns. Similarly, the German infantry's trucks and half-tracks have also mistakenly traveled and parked alongside the Panzer IV of the Oarai Anglerfish Team and the Tiger I Heavy tank of Maho Nishizumi, creating some really awkward interactions once the girls in the tanks reveal themselves to the surprised Germans.
- The German Infantry as a whole are rather amused by the existence and presence of the Tediz, who are essentially cartoon bear versions of both them and the Waffen-SS. That said, they still come to respect their teddy bear counterparts, no thanks to their shared bloodlust when fighting against their enemies, which, surprisingly, has some overlap to it. Not to mention the fact that they're both taken rather seriously in the works that they have both appeared in, with the German Infantry themselves having been responsible for a number of deaths among Baker's squad.
Duh. To show the numerous gun emplacements and vehicles that they use, for one. I.E. the reason they represent the trope in the first place. I mean, if I showed "just" the infantry, you'd probably ask "Why do you only show them? What makes them so special?" That, and to also show their appearances in the older Brothers in Arms titles (they only wore the helmets and had no field caps, for one), and other characters who are part of the unit in the case of Auckland.

"We are gonna sit here and take it! You hear me!? We're gonna take it!"
Okay, but what is the point of just adding pictures of their weapons and vehicles in the profile?
EDIT:
Honestly no. In fact, the wording on the title made me think that this was going to be about trench warfare, not "enemies that do not move".

Only sometimes posts
did you even bother to read the trope or profile?
Edit: Wouldn’t the images tip you off on that assumption being wrong?

KILL CONSUME MULTIPLY CONQUER

Oh look top. I can say something dumb. I will make a new Pantheon Straw Hat crew where I’ll add the most random deities to their crew. Be nakama.
