Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3 means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles:
Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.

- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Psychers are constantly sacrificed in mass with only those whose power can be safely harnessed allowed, sure, magicians are ok...as long they obey, the moment any issue appears, they die.
And this is with magicians, not supernatural creatures, because even surviving benevolent deities like the Eldar deities are targetted alongside their species, plus the ban on religion meaning that any deity goes the chopped block too.

Watch me destroying my countryWith all this discussion on the Order of Humanity, I’ve personally started to notice that none of the actual Imperium members are part of the Order despite the fact that the Emperor is officially off the Golden Throne.
Also, I’m now filled with the mad urge to suggest Cemetery Wind and/or Jacques Schnee so that the Order can have more henchmen, even if I have zero idea as to what trope either of them should get.
That’s why it’s just an urge.
Edited by GeneralGigan on Jan 24th 2022 at 7:08:27 AM
SKREEEEEEEONK!Yeah, don't suggest deities just because you want to add to an Alliance's or whatever ranks. That's exactly the kind of thing the ongoing overhaul is meant to avoid.
Edited by wootzits on Jan 24th 2022 at 12:04:52 PM
I propose we formalize a split between TTS and 40K canon, and stop treating the latter's whitewashing of the former as canon. It is just confusing the issue. Not entirely sure how we ever arrived at the idea of treating such an obviously divergent fan work as canon.
If you build it, we will tear it down.As the person who first put a reference to TTS into Emperor's profile, I have no idea. I always felt like Warhammer 40k (and regular Warhammer) has had oddly large cult focus in the Pantheon no one has noticed, but the shift to TTS mentions feels like whomever was writing the profiles had no idea where to go with the characters, mainly with stuff like Magnus.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Whatever happens with the Order of Humanity, sounds like there are plenty of changes to be made regarding profiles either way.
And yes, don't make suggestions for the sake of Alliances or groups, there won't be any significant reason to do so let alone anything to "miss out" on with reworked Alliance content being demoted to what is to put it shortly, a secondary set of background events.
Beep-beepIts exactly because the proposed Alliance overhauls that we're doing this, well known characters that have befriended aliens, supernatural beings or A.I.s suddenly are feeling empathy and loyalty for the guy that proposed to kill their friends?
Watch me destroying my countryRegarding Order of Humanity, it should be kept but make the Emperor's Imperium cut all ties to the GUAG or any person who probably DONT want to kill every alien out there. Its like the Justice League having a group of powerful super racists in their ranks, no offense to Warhammer fans.

Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Gonna say probably for the better, but we should probably try to avoid a situation where someone tries to Start My Own due to that.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Man, let me you a story of how Barry Allen didn't want Black Lightning in JL because he didn't want to be seen as tokenism.

If we going to downplay the Alliances (good), can we also erase YHVH from the enemy list of...every positive Abrahamic character in the Faith house?
Its really bizarre having every single heroic Christian, Jew and Muslim reject one of the most direct adaptations of their God.
I don't get why Corrupt Church characters like Frollo are in the GUAL neither, as YHVH's reaction to a Corrupt Church society was to order their destruction and send Satan to deal with their leadership because he considered the corrupt church society to be unworthy of salvation.
Edited by KazuyaProta on Jan 24th 2022 at 8:41:38 AM
Watch me destroying my countryquite frankly, I think YHVH makes sense to stay on the enemies list of a lot of characters. Regardless of him being pretty closely based on the root God of the 'Abrahamic' category of religions, neither Christians, Jews or Muslims worship a god who actually acts anything like the god who, i must remind you, is in the Pantheon as a representation of God Is Evil.
If you build it, we will tear it down. You more of less summarized why the GUAL is so particularly screwed in first place.
Pantheons overall need retweaks and that's ok.
But the GUAL is leaded by the most famous example of God Is Evil in JRP Gs , which makes the GUAL to be less about Law and more Lawful Evil alone. No other pantheon needs a special division where the trick is that they're the Token Good Teammate that completely reject any ties to the rest.
Lucifer in SMT is easier as he runs the gamut from Anti-Villain to full hero across many universes, but YHVH only has two direct appareances as the Big Bad of two games and other roles of ambiguous directness in others.
Lawful Good characters are in really weird spots because of it, and even Lawful Neutral ones

Watch me destroying my countryForgive me for asking but have you made any profiles of your own yet?
Time to explore the world! This discussion makes me want to point at one 40K rework I did way earlier back then: Asdrubael Vect in the House of Slaughter. The profile had no mentions of Grand United Alliances or other factions, and has to this day still remain a good profile. This is what I plan on the 40K reworks in the near future.
The Order of Humanity and other groups, as I said in my point, only excarberate the scope creep problem, creating this argument to boot.
I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!I made the Order of Humanity, but you seem to be a lot more in the know about Warhammer 40000 than me so go ahead with dealing with it how you see fit. I'm sorry for causing this hullabaloo
Are these two ready to go?

- Opposes: The Hounds Of War, Zapp Brannigan, Roger the Alien, Peter Griffin
- Respected by: Dib Membrane, Leonidas
- Thomas J Whitmore was a Gulf War veteran who served as a F-16 fighter pilot in the US airforce. Later elected president, he was initially criticized as not taking a hard enough approach in politics and his Action Politician traits not relevant. Everything changed, however, with an Alien Invasion of the VERY hostile variety and the destruction of the White House. Despite losing the First Lady and the carnage the Harvesters caused, he refused to kneel and became the Ideal Hero America needed. And when it was clear no human would be spared by the aliens, he engaged in a Rousing Speech where humanity would not go quietly into the night and fight to their last breath. Ultimately the speech paid off as a united humanity destroyed the Harvester mothership and mankind was saved.
- 20 years later the Harvesters returned to wreak bloody vengeance. Though no longer president, Whitmore was still a legend. That said, the physical contact with the aliens that linked him into their hive mind and give him visions of what they were doing took a chip off his lucidity. He'd go on to sacrifice himself in a suicide mission against the Queen.
- His rebirth in the Trope Pantheon was possible thanks to Kamina deciding to group up with the rest of his friends as part of Team Dai-Gurren. Thomas Whitmore may not go Beyond the Impossible, but he certainly fights the power of oppressive forces like the Harvesters and inspires human will with his Rousing Speech. As there were a lot more alien menaces in the pantheon, the president felt it imperative to find people to help. One unlikely ally he found was Gru, due to his shrink ray; while the Nefario Principle means that the massive Harvester ships would eventually return to a normal size, it was more than enough time to swiftly destroy them with firepower. The Green Lantern Corps were informed of this partnership soon after.
- Most just know him as the president. While he will go by President Whitmore, by the time of his ascension he'd completed his two terms so it's somewhat of an Artifact Title. Despite his high-ranking position he was kept in the dark about Area 51 for reasons of confidentiality. It was revealed to him the Roswell incident was a Harvester ship, who's programming made it key to defeating them. He was rather shocked to learn that there are at least three gods with claims to be the Roswell alien, and one who claims to be the probe. While Roger the Alien is too much of an ass for him to get along with, he did make conversation with Zoidberg about the incident. The Men in Black and Cobra Bubbles later filled Whitmore in on more details about aliens.
- It's not clear what political party he belongs to as the movie never brings it up beyond vaguely hinting he's a Republican. According to the novelization, he's a Democrat. Thomas Whitmore has stated he doesn't care about that given he has more important things to do, and most presidents from any political party are on good terms with him; of course he excludes Frank Underwood for being completely reprehensible and Luthornote as he's too conceited in his own ego to oppose supposed alien threats. John F Kennedy has compared Whitmore to himself, along with Bill Clinton. Whitmore considers JFK comparing himself to him as a honor.
- July 4 and Independence Day is remembered in his setting as not just an American holiday, but a celebration as the day humanity said no to the Harvesters. Upon his ascension he was welcomed with open arms by many an Eaglelanded deity, though there were some accusations at him prioritizing the U.S over other nations. One of the gods was fellow president Funny Valentine, but in a positive manner as "the U.S is number one" is a driving factor in his villainy. Considering the American exceptionalism Valentine wants, Whitmore decried him by pointing out that the day they fought back against the aliens was meant to be a coming together of all nations and not about the squabbling egos of different countries trying to see who should take the most credit.
- Whitmore doesn't deny he's a passionate American, and likes heroic U.S deities like Broforce and Team America. He's a big fan of Captain America too. However he respects other ass-kickers from around the world like Saxton Hale. Though the Aussie is a bit chaotic for his liking his brawn makes up for it. Because of Whitmore's pivotal role the Order of Humanity offered him a partnership as one of their spokespeople and diplomats. While he has trepidations over the lingering Fantastic Racism to non-humans present, he agrees that Humans Are Warriors and they have the best interest of mankind at heart. He's willing to work with the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit and the Black Ops as well, but his security detail and CIA are keeping a close eye on them due to their unethical methods in fighting off an alien invasion. Still, he knows his Realpolitik.
- Despite his bad first experience with aliens, Whitmore is far from a "do not suffer the Xenos" type and only signed onto the Harvester's obliteration when they proved incapable of even understanding what peace IS. In short, if you're an alien who believes anything alien to you is worthy of death, then Whitmore has his missiles pointed at your face. The Network proved one of the more insidious types of enemies given their mode of operations. He holds a particular annoyance for the Martians from Mars Attacks due to the ludicrousness of having to weaponize "Indian Love Call" .
- Octogeddon is a more terrestrial foe for the president as he's an octopus who's swarn to destroy all monuments, be they American or otherwise, for mere disrespect of cephalopods. He will at least entertain an Enemy Mine against evil aliens because they share the same planet. Unlike the Harvesters the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za, ADVENT and The Combine entertain the idea of teaming up with each other to conquer the Earth, since they've succeeded for a time in their own universes...but 90% of the time they're too concered in proving their superiority to each other to do even that. Senator Armstrong was willing to Enemy Mine with Whitmore against the alien menace as well, but in any normal situation they're foes as Whitmore considers his social darwinist goals for the U.S insane. That said, he agrees with Armstrong that America needs to become stronger.
- Because the Daleks are the biggest alien xenophobes of them all, President Whitmore made another Rousing Speech to implore all races, even the more hostile onesnote to work together and oppose them. He followed it up with an imploring to do whatever it takes to neutralize the GUAD once and for all. While riling up opposition to the groups was easy, getting everyone to team up wasn't and members of the GUAD had even boasted the inability for the different factions to team up is why they'll eventually win. They even joked he's got less of a chance of beating Zim. Dib was happy to hear Whitmore took this in stride by pointing out that Zim can be a threat, mainly by virtue of his stupidity.
- In spite of their repulsiveness President Whitmore accepted the Blorg Commonality with open...appendages. They learned about his race's alliance with the Sphere, an alien that has a long history opposing the Harvesters and who helped humanity despite considering them a primitive species. The Formics and Heptapods requested a formal alliance with him as well, and after some diplomacy said alliance was formed. He later found himself formally invited to join The New Alliance Of Stars. After hearing all of this, and his opposition to the Daleks, the 3rd Doctor decided to contact UNIT and work out more appointments with Whitmore. The Doctors in general like him, but the 3rd Doctor likes Whtimore the most out of them.
- Though he believes that humanity and potentially friendly allies should put aside their differences for a common, overwhelming enemy, he really doesn't want that to include HYDRA. Mainly because they will simply try to subvert the war effort into a means of world domination under the pretense of security through totalitarianism. The Aryan Brotherhood were also rejected from a potential alliance, but because they virulently denied wanting to work with anyone who doesn't fit their delusional racial and social views, even when saving mankind would save themselves. He's also utterly disgusted by Ragyo Kiryuin for obvious reasons, the most relevant being selling herself and humanity to a hostile alien.
- On a lighter note President Whitmore would prefer Peter Griffin not get involved; he harassed him about allegedly sleeping with his wife. Apparently Peter annoying him was because he mistook him for another 42nd U.S president.
- Leonidas respects President Whitmore because of how effective his Rousing Speech was, comparing it to his own riling of the Spartan troops against the wave of the Persians. While Whitmore appreciates the compliment and his own charisma, he doesn't agree with The Spartan Way and in spite of (or even because of) being a war-time president he really doesn't like the Hounds Of War. He also holds a strong dislike of Zapp Brannigan for being a sleazy General Failure who would've gotten everyone killed against the Harvesters. Not to mention that he takes the loss of Americans strongly, while Zapp doesn't give a damn when people die on his watch.

- Russell Casse was a Vietnam vet who used to be a military pilot, later becoming a crop duster. Because of a traumatic Alien Abduction in his past he took to the bottle and his UFO story was seen as delusional gibberish. Little did anyone know aliens would prove they existed in 1996, and though disbelieved at first Casse was right in believing they weren't friendly. When it became clear how unfriendly they were, he found himself a time and a place to be hero. Russell Casse would save the president and sacrifice himself for the greater good, by crashing directly into the Mothership's main weapon. For someone disrespected by family and neighbors and seen as a lunatic, that's a major turn-around.
- He was fairly livid at the Harvesters being in the Trope Pantheon, and the fact they saw him as more of a nuisance despite his accomplishment didn't help much. However his ascension was joined by a strong ally and opponent of the Harvesters; President Thomas J. Whitmore himself. He revealed to Russell that his name is ingrained in the new Washington monument and he took after what he did himself 20 years later. After a presidential handshake and award Whitmore introduced the pilot to Team Dai-Gurren, who's grouping gave him the opportunity to find a position in the Trope Pantheon. After getting to know them, Russell Casse applauded their courage. Out of the group he and Kamina get along the best because both had an inspiring Heroic Sacrifice and Kamina's incredibly Hot-Blooded personality appeals to Russell the most.
- One of the things Whitmore revealed to Russell Casse was the key to their victory; a computer virus derived from a Harvester spaceship that crashed in Roswell, 1947. In the Trope Pantheon multiple deities have been linked to the incident. One of them was Roger, who he really doesn't like or trust because his humor is highly amoral and he's prone to violent Disproportionate Retribution; Russell thinks he'll try to probe him, but the alien isn't interested. While he doesn't hate Beheeyem in the same manner he doesn't trust the Pokemon due to being able to manipulate mind and memories for their purposes with moves like the Simple Beam, and taking Wooloo. There was a Roswell alien he got along with though, and strangely enough it was Zoidberg. The Decapodian is the lovable loser type who can sympathize with the prior disgrace Russell suffered, after all.
- The time he spent with Zoidberg eventually caught Fry's attention, and the two soon got along well. Despite being somewhat of a Butt-Monkey he's had a lot of cool moments, one of the most important being foiling the Brainspawn with his special but inferior brain. He invited the pilot to the Planet Express ship to marvel at it. After talking with Fry Russell also learned that his Robot Buddy Bender was the "spaceship" who crashed in 1947, and sometimes the two will get together at a bar...he's just getting a non-alcoholic drink, however, since he wants to avoid falling back into alcoholism.
- Tony Stark was decently impressed by his heroism and how he pulled himself out of the proverbial gutter, and bonded over his own struggles with alcoholism. He thinks Russell should stay out of the bar to avoid relapsing, which Russell considers fair but has turned down the request as he wants to help out other alcoholics. He's been trying to encourage fellow barfly Barney Gumble to overcome his addiction to drink, and Captain Haddock as well; he's a lot less effective when intoxicated.
- It isn't known if the Harvesters were the same alien who abducted him or not, however the experience and their later invasion has caused Russell Casse to distrust extraterrestrials. That's not to say he won't make exceptions; despite having a reputation of being annoying he gets along surprisingly well with Jar Jar Binks since he's had his own "loser turned unlikely hero" arc, plus E.T is adorable and kind-hearted enough that he lets him play with his kids. He doesn't trust the Men in Black or the SCP Foundation either, though this might come from frustration on their secrecy and how it relates to nobody believing him. He's less paranoid about Galaxy Man since he realizes he's only based on a UFO, but he's still a UFO-based robot.
- Not the biggest fanboy of Captain America, but a fanboy nonetheless. Meeting him in the pantheon was a real highlight, and so was meeting a bunch of America-loving heroes who save the day like Broforce and Team America. Russell was happy to meet Mr Satan as well, but this is more about respecting the man than being a fanboy; Mr Satan went from a Fake Ultimate Hero played straight to gaining the heart of a hero and genuinely saving the world-it reminds Russell of his own growth and redemption, minus dying of course.
- As he served in the Vietnam War, he and Seymour Skinner have a relatively cordial relationship. The principal thinks he's a loose canon and Russell thinks he's a square, but they hold a mutual respect for each other's military record. And while Russell isn't the brightest of folks, he has a good heart and knows when things are too reckless for their own good. Despite also serving in the Vietnam War he and John Kreese don't get along since the latter's an abusive and ruthless martial arts mentor. And he hates Zapp Brannigan for his Lack of Empathy towards troops through the meatgrinder while lacking the stones to get even close to said grinder. Given what Zapp really is he just thinks Russell's insubordinate.
- He's annoyed by the recklessness of Leeroy Jenkins, who was upset as he thought they'd be good friends. Russell Casse really doesn't care for Captain Qwark either due to being a cowardly 'hero', though unlike Zapp he has grown a heart. Also, while he thinks what the Alliance of Free Stars are a good thing he distrusts the flying saucer-using Arilou as they're akin to The Greys and are rumored to abduct farm animals or the lone human. Their defense was at worst those abductions were caused by bad apples and don't represent the species as a whole.
- He's a good dad, if a bumbling one and was overjoyed to see his son came to respect him when he helped save the day; he just wishes he could still be around for him. Like any good dad he hates abusive parents, especially if they use alcoholism as an excuse. Despite this he can begrudgingly get along with Homer as how much of a Jerkass dad he is depending on the writer, and he normally at least tries. Homer's had experience with an alien encounter met with disbeliefnote so he sympathizes with the Cassandra Truth Russell Casse dealt with. And after dealing with Peter Griffin, he's tried to behave more in the pantheon.
- Feels bad for Hank Hill due to how much of a dick his veteran father is. While his feelings towards Cotton Hill are complicated, Hank doesn't feel Russell needs to be concerned.
Still though, YHVH should be knocked down a peg. The whole SMT obsession The Pantheon has had over the years should be toned down.
for both.

Time to explore the world!Order of Humanity can be reworked into an Uprising featuring a bunch of Equalist/Imperium types going against a bunch of homo superior characters, with certain heroes out to make sure neither faction can capitalize on a victory in any meaningful way.
And the Emperor's general characterization can pretty much be retooled into something similar to Copy X, except with a more holy/revered motif that makes a lot of people consider it a shame that he wields his great majesty as a weapon against anyone not of his kind.

Enough. I want the Imperium out of these stories. Scratch that, the entirety of 40K profiles should have never been a part of any group/faction. I want each profile to stand on their own (what my overhaul is meant to achieve) just like in the tabletop that each faction has their own standings without interference from another.
I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!for both (Do fix red link in Russell's profile though)
Beep-beepSo then, would this just be a group of Super Supremacists or would it be a general group of nonhumans that hate humanity opposite to the Order? Also, what would we even call this anti-Order?

SKREEEEEEEONK!Explain to me how you own 40K and get to decide what happens to it.

If you build it, we will tear it down.Responsible for the upcoming overhaul if that is what you are asking for. I wonder what profile have you done or you just came here with no purpose other than nitpicking.
I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!
why do they hate magic? They have psychers, its the same thing. The problem is Warhammer was that they just learned it which made the daemons pour out.
