Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Perhaps something with King Midas? She does want to avoid his situation of unfortunate power drawbacks.
Done with this.
Rev. Harry Powell, Divine Bearer of Knuckle Tattoos

- Demigod
- Symbol: The Love and Hate tattoos
- Theme Song: "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms"
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil, despite pretensions of Lawful... something
- Portfolio: Knuckle Tattoos, The Bluebeard, Would Hurt a Child, Straw Misogynist
- Domains: Murder, Tattoos, Evil, Priesthood
- Allies: Bluebeard, Count Olaf, The Child Abuse Supporters
- Enemies: Lisbeth Salander, The House of Childhood and Adolescence, The Heroic Protectors of Family, Baudelaire Orphans, Bloody Mary, The Blues Brothers, most of the clergy, Yoshikage Kira
- Rival: Uncle Charlie
- Opposed by: YHVH
- Not So Different from: Claude Frollo
- Reverend Harry Powell is a charismatic preacher capable of charming whole communities with his seemingly winsome personality. But that is a mask for the truth: that he is an unhinged, hateful serial killer of women, whose money he then uses to fund his personal, twisted religious mission of committing more killings, believing he's doing God's work. It once happened that he was in prison for a minor crime, where he talked with an inmate who boasted about having stolen and stashed a considerable amount of money. Determined to get the money for himself, Powell ingratiated himself to the now-dead man's family, marrying the widow and becoming stepfather to two children, the only ones who saw that he was bad news. After murdering his wife, Powell intended to force the children to tell him where the money was, but they managed to escape and find shelter with a tough old lady who would not be cowed by Powell. Ultimately the authorities caught up to Powell's crimes and he finally was stopped.
- Powell is easily identifiable by the tattoos on his knuckles; the right hand reads "Love", while the left reads "Hate". He likes to arm-wrestle with himself to illustrate his philosophy about the universal struggle between love and hate. Twisted as he is, he believes his grisly acts are an act of love. Ironically (and appropriately), he does seem to favor his left hand. Because of this, he was ascended to represent Knuckle Tattoos. Powell, with his particular set of beliefs, took this to mean that God was aligned with him after all and brought him ever so slightly closer to his side as reward for his deeds in his mortal life. He is therefore determined to continue his holy mission in the Pantheon, to the dismay of many deities, especially women.
- After putting much thought into it, Powell has arrived at the conclusion that the God he knows (or thinks he knows) may not be physically present in the Pantheon at all. Most beings who take on that identity have denounced him, including, most surprisingly, YHVH. Say what you will about YHVH, but he is a staunch egalitarian and he considers Powell's murderous hatred of women to go against his ideology. Powell's reaction to all this is to reject all these figures claiming to be God as false idols and the Devil's temptation; after all, the Almighty is supposed to be one and only. Powell has started to theorize that the Pantheon may not be the highest plane in existence and he has simply placed in there by the one, true God as a test for his faith and so as to further spread his teachings. He seems pretty confident that he's doing well.
- Powell is reviled by just about every member of the clergy present in the Pantheon, with even some of the more evil ones like Frollo vehemently denying that this serial killer is in any way a man of the cloth. It's a bit ironic coming from Frollo, who a lot of people would say is Not So Different from Powell, as Frollo has his own destructive hatred for a select group of people (the Roma) which led to him attempting genocide. Frollo is also tormented by his sexual desires, much like Powell. Frollo's reaction to this is to accuse people making those comparisons of slandering him, a deeply religious man (as he sees it...), and thus affronting God. Powell's own reaction to Frollo and the rest of the clergy denouncing him is to tut-tut about it and shoot back that only he seems to know God's true will and that he feels sorry for the supposed men and women of the cloth who don't and are likely going to hell because of it.
- Powell finds himself routinely annoyed by two brothers, Jake and Elwood Blues, who have decided to make his life difficult and call it a Mission from God. They particularly fond of flashing their own Knuckle Tattoos (theirs are simply their names) at Powell in various rude gestures as a sign of defiance and mockery of Powell's schtick, which rather gets on Powell's nerves. Their encounters generally turn into chaotic and eventful car chases in which Powell ends up the loser in some embarrassing fashion.
- His modus operandi of marrying women and then killing them to collect their money has gotten him an ally in Bluebeard, the archetypal wife-killer. Powell, in his usual way of twisting things, takes the tale of Bluebeard as a... well-intentioned, cautionary warning to women to obey their husbands' wishes without question, or risk a horrible fate befalling them. The fact that said horrible fate is inflicted by the husband himself does not register in Powell's mind as a signal that the husband shares at least some of the blame, the important thing is that the wife be subservient in all cases, and if she is not, it's entirely her fault if something happens to her. In any case, Powell has adopted this spiel as part of his preaching, which seems to fill Bluebeard with pride. They may occasionally assist each other in their killings, besides.
- One might have expected Powell to be aligned with Uncle Charlie, the Merry Widow Killer, especially as he is also a personal friend of Bluebeard. Certainly, Powell admires him being a rare man who's wise to the "fact" that women in their frivolity waste their honest husbands' hard-earned money. However, Uncle Charlie crucially looks down on the church as "opium for the masses" and thus doesn't think very highly of the Reverend or his obsession with carrying out his supposedly God-given mission. Powell being given to bizarre histrionics is also pretty off-putting to the more stoic and classy Charlie. All things considered, Charlie doesn't seem interested in helping Powell, or really even letting him have widows' fortunes at all, as it would mean all that money would simply go into an institution he feels contempt for. Because of all this, they seem to compete over who gets to ingratiate himself to a woman and get to her money first for the sake of their personal beliefs. Powell, for his part, has not lost hope that he can show Charlie the light and the two can thus work together to fulfill God's will; Charlie already seems to have his heart in the right place, from his deranged perspective.
- Yoshikage Kira may be another woman-killer, however Powell was really repulsed by the part where he keeps mementos of the women he kills, most specifically their hands, as Kira has a fetish for them. Powell, being as averse to matters of sexuality as he is, simply cannot understand such a thing and feels deeply disturbed by it. He finds Kira contemptible for falling prey to such weakness of the flesh and worship of loathsome femalehood even in death, in his words. Kira likely does not care what a deranged priest like him thinks and he doesn't have much to worry about at any rate, seeing as how he has his explosive powers, while Powell has nothing more than a switchblade.
- As Powell is one of the most fervent and outspoken misogynists in the Pantheon and that hatred manifests in killing women and sometimes hurting children, he has quite the place of honor in Lisbeth Salander's list of people to end with extreme prejudice. Lisbeth made damn sure to let Powell know exactly what kind of trouble he will get from her, by kidnapping him and giving him a taste of his own medicine: she tied him up, trapped him in a car and pushed it into a lake, in an imitation of what he had done to his Willa, one of his victims. Powell was none too fazed after the fact, coming to the conclusion that Lisbeth had completely forgotten her place in God's creation and killing her with his own hands would be an act of mercy. Lisbeth isn't frightened by this and will definitely continue to remain a stone in his shoe as long as he keeps threatening women.
- One of Powell's marriage and murder schemes went very awry as the woman he targeted was Bloody Mary. He thought she would be easy pickings as she's always trying to find the perfect groom, so she was easy to charm. What he didn't expect was Mary herself becoming homicidal with him once he allowed his charming mask to slip. Powell realized he should finish the job as soon as possible, but he wasn't fast enough and he ended up being the one killed, with Mary resenting him for tricking her. Everyone who has heard of what happened thinks Powell got what he had coming to him. Afterwards, Powell preaches against Bloody Mary as the kind of woman who went irredeemably astray and needs to be put down so she can no longer conspurcate God's creation, which might just be a bunch of fancy words for him wanting revenge on her (but revenge is so un-Christian, as it goes).
- His treatment of his stepkids John and Pearl is another factor that makes him widely reviled, with the House of Childhood and Adolescence and The Heroic Protectors of Family in particular condemning him for it. Conversely, The Child Abuse Supporters extended their sympathies to Powell for being saddled with such "disobedient and troublesome" children who were so hideously ungrateful to their stepfather, in their view. Related to this, Powell has found a kindred spirit in Count Olaf, who took guardianship of the Baudelaire Children specifically so he could get his hands on their family fortune. Powell and Olaf understood each other for the trouble that their charges caused them and so Powell has accepted working alongside Olaf to get at the Baudelaire fortune (agreeing they would divide it equally between the two of them once they acquired it).

- Vishnu is the Hindu god of preservation, reality, karma restoration and moksha (a form of enlightenment). He is known as the Preserver within the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity that also includes Brahma, the Creator, and Shiva, the Destroyer. Vishnu's wife is Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity, who is his equal complementary partner. In Vaishnavism, Vishnu is worshipped as the supreme being who creates, protects and transforms the universe. As the Preserver, Vishnu maintains balance within the world, and is known for a kindly demeanor and genuine interest in the welfare of humanity. Whenever the world is threatened with evil, chaos, and destructive forces, Vishnu descends in the form of an avatar (incarnation) to restore the cosmic order and protect Dharma.
- Although Vishnu's avatars are countless in number, and some of them are even female (such as Mohini), there are 10 avatars in particular, known collectively as the Dashavatara, who are regarded as his primary incarnations.
- The first is Matsya, a giant fish (or half-human, half-fish), who rescued the first man Manu from a great deluge by carrying his boat to the high grounds of the northern mountains.
- The second is Kurma, a turtle/tortoise (or half-human, half-tortoise), who helped the devas and asuras during the churning of the Ocean of milk in order to get Amrita, the nectar of immortality. When Mount Mandara, which they were using as the churning staff, started to sink, Kurma bore the weight of the mountain on his back.
- The third is Varaha, a boar, who rescued Bhumi, the goddess of the earth, when the demon Hiranyaksha kidnapped her and hid her in the depths of the cosmic ocean. Varaha slew the demon and retrieved the earth from the ocean by lifting it between his tusks, thus restoring Bhumi to her place in the universe.
- The fourth is Narasimha, a fierce man-lion, who killed the Asura king Hiranyakashipu in order to end his persecution of everyone for their religious beliefs, including his own son Prahlada, who was a devotee of Vishnu.
- The fifth is Vamana, a dwarf, who helped the gods regain rulership over heaven, earth, and the underworld after they had lost it to the Asura king Mahabali. While the king was distributing alms amongst his people, Vamana approached him and Bali promised him whatever he asked. Vamana asked for three paces of land. Bali agreed, and the dwarf then changed his size to that of a giant Trivikrama form. With his first stride he covered the earthly realm, with the second he covered the heavenly realm (thereby symbolically covering the abode of all living beings), and he then took the third stride for the netherworld. Bali realized that Vamana was Vishnu incarnate and, in deference, the king offered his head as the third place for Vamana to place his foot. The avatar did so and thus granted Bali immortality and made him ruler of Patala, the underworld.
- The sixth is Parashurama, an axe-wielding warrior-sage, who corrected the cosmic equilibrium by destroying the Kshatriya warriors twenty-one times after they had begun to abuse their power by forcefully taking what belonged to others and terrorizing people. He is one of the Chiranjivis (long-lived ones or immortal ones), and is believed to be alive today in penance at the Mahendragiri mountain range until he will appear at the end of the Kali Yuga (the present age).
- The seventh is Rama, the ideal model of a common prince, whose most notable adventure is the kidnapping of his wife Sita by demon-king Ravana, followed by the determined and epic efforts of Rama and Lakshmana to gain her freedom and destroy the evil Ravana against great odds.
- The eighth is usually Krishna, revered as a god-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero, and the universal supreme being, who overcame Kamsa, the tyrannical king of the Vrishni kingdom. Sometimes, the eighth avatar is instead identified as Balarama, Krishna's elder brother.
- The ninth avatar is variously identified as being either the Buddha (the founder of Buddhism), Vithoba (a Hindu deity predominantly worshipped in the Indian state of Maharashtra), or Jagannath (a Hindu deity worshipped in regional traditions in India and Bangladesh).
- The prophesied tenth and final avatar is Kalki, who will appear at the end of the Kali Yuga. He will be atop a white horse and his sword will be drawn, blazing like a comet. He will bring an end to the Kali Yuga, the current and final epoch of Yuga Cycle, and harbinger in the restart of the Satya Yuga and another cycle of existence.
- When Vishnu arrived into the Pantheon, he already displayed great knowledge of the place and its inhabitants. While Vaishnavites were quick to attribute it to him being the Supreme Being, Vishnu further clarified that he still has a connection to his ascended avatars, Rama and Krishna of the Divine Powers. However, while Rama exists as a composite of all versions of himself and generally still aligns himself with Vishnu, the Krishna in the Pantheon is exclusively the version from the SMT Multiverse, whom Vishnu regards as a rogue avatar whose desire to overthrow YHVH has resulted in him becoming just as bad. As a result, Vishnu regularly uses his connection to Krishna to thwart the Divine Powers' schemes, much to their annoyance.
- Vishnu's temple is divided into two parts. His main residence is modeled after his celestial abode Vaikuntha. It is actually a series of planets full of golden palaces and hanging gardens that grow fragrant sweet scented fruits and flowers. Vishnu exclusively presides over on high, accompanied by his consort Lakshmi. The twin deities, Jaya and Vijaya, serve as the abode's gatekeeper. The residence of his followers, located on the ground, is based on the Divine Lotus, his realm in Mount Celestia in the D&D Multiverse. It is a place where nothing crumbles before its time. The followers are all young and strong, their minds keen with spiritual and mental enlightenment. Those who don't have sharp minds don't make it into the realm as humans; they become animals and are reborn into the karmic wheel.
- Vishnu was pleased to be reunited with Ganesha in the Pantheon, and is similarly fond of Sita, due to her being one of Lakshmi's avatars, and Karna, who had been a martial arts disciple of Parashurama, Vishnu's sixth avatar. However, he was also somewhat annoyed to learn of the presence of Kumbhakarna, the reincarnation of his gatekeeper Vijaya and the younger brother of the Demon King Ravana, both of whom had been killed by his avatar Rama. Nonetheless, Vishnu aknowledges that Kumbhakarna isn't particularly evil, and instead is simply devoted towards honoring his warrior vows and staying loyal to his brother Ravana.
- Although Vishnu is familiar with the Battleground of the Gods, he hasn't participated there in person. Instead, he sent two of his avatars, Vamana and Rama, as his representatives. Several gods who have participated there have expressed annoyance at this, arguing that Vishnu was not only being lazy but was also insulting them through the implication that they weren't worth his direct involvement. Vishnu has insisted that no insults are intended on his part, but he simply prefers to focus the bulk of his attention on other matters for the time being, and might someday show up in person if he deems it necessary.
- Vishnu was quick to ally himself with Cosmos and the GUAG, and regularly sends his various avatars to aid them. However, Cosmos tends to get rather annoyed at Vishnu's lack of direct involvement in their cause, as he insists upon only showing up in person and getting directly involved if their situation becomes especially dire. Additionally, he's also on good terms with other benevolent supreme beings such as The Love that Moves the Stars, The Alpha and Omega, the God who hangs out with Bob, Ahura Mazda, Eru Ilúvatar, The One Above All, The Presence, Present and Future Zeno, The Truth, and Aesir.
- Although Vishnu has allied himself with Philemon and shares in his opposition towards Nyarlathotep, he's quite frustrated by his God's Hands Are Tied policy and his general disaffection with his champions, which contrasts with Vishnu's own habit of simply incarnating himself (basically becoming his own champion) to deal with threats more directly. Vishnu, due to representing goodness and enlightenment, is unsurprisingly quite hated by Nyarlathotep, who views him as a major threat.
- He's on good terms with Joshua, who is similartly known for having taken human form. Although Vishnu disapproves of Joshua's former decision to destroy Shibuya, he's glad that Joshua ultimately chose to spare it. Vishnu also gets along with Ryoji Mochizuki, who is a good person despite being the Nyx Avatar.
- Vishnu is on generally friendly terms with the various champions of the Great Will from the SMT Multiverse, having previously encountered many of them in various circumstances. He most frequently allies himself with Naoya Toudou, Tatsuya Suou, Makoto Yuki, Yu Narukami, and Ren Amamiya/Joker, manifesting, when summoned by them, as the Ultimate Persona of the Emperor Arcana for Naoya and Tatsuya, the second-best Persona of the Sun Arcana for Makoto, the Ultimate Persona of the Temperance Arcana for Yu, and the second-best Persona of the Fool Arcana for Ren/Joker. Additionally, he sometimes aids the Demi-Fiend as a summonable ally, and periodically provides aid to Flynn as an apology for him having previously been kidnapped by his rogue avatar Krishna, who then forced Flynn to fuse with him into "Vishnu-Flynn" as a last ditch attempt to defeat Nanashi. Finally, his support of the Embryon Tribe stems from them having previously proven their worth to him and the strength of their dharma (righteousness) by defeating him in battle.
- Vishnu quickly managed to get along with Raava and Avatars Wan, Aang, and Korra, since they play a similar to him in protecting the world and maintaining balance. He was quite interested to learn of the workings of the Avatar Cycle, in which the next avatar would be born shortly after the previous one died, in contrast to Vishnu's method of only sending an avatar when one was needed. Unsurprisingly, he also quickly came to oppose Vaatu and Unalaq, as he not only dislikes Vaatu's evil but is especially appaled by Unalaq's desire to become the Dark Avatar and usher an era of ten thousand years of darkness.
- Vishnu vehemently opposes Melkor and the GUAE, and frequently aids the GUAG in battle against them through his avatars, only getting involved personally if the situation gets particularly bad. He also opposes Lucifer, YHVH, and their respective factions, although to a lesser extent than the GUAE, since Vishnu considers the destruction of evil to be a more immediate concern than combating chaos and order.
- Vishnu also quickly became enemies with evil creator deities such as Chakravartin, Chuck Shurley, and Zanza. Since Vishnu represents Moksha, a state of enlightenment and self-liberation from Samsara (the cycle of death and rebirth), he especially dislikes Chakravartin, who represents Samsara and subjected the world to numerous cycles of creation and annihilation in an attempt to find an heir to take his place. Fused Zamasu hates him not only for being benevolent towards humanity, but even going so far as to take human form in order to help them, which Zamasu considers to be obscene. On the other hand, Nyarlathotep has remarked that he and Vishnu could be seen as counterparts to one another, since they both use avatars (or "masks" as Nyarlathotep sometimes calls them) to carry out their respective goals in the world. Although he's uncomfortable about their similarity, Vishnu nonetheless tends to be one of the more effective opponents of Nyarlathotep.
- Having regularly dealt with various demons and demon kings in the past, Vishnu has routinely squared off against the various demonic rulers in the Pantheon, including Dis, The Beast, Fortinbras, the Godhand, HIM, Malebolgia, Azmodan, Mundus, the Satan who lost Paradise, Demise, Diablo, Baal, Dul'Mephistos, and Mephisto. Vishnu also dislikes tyrannical rulers and those who tyrannize innocents in general, which quickly resulted in him becoming enemies with Darkseid, Thanos, and Apocalypse.
- Vishnu has shown a fondness and respect for Noah and Great A'Tuin. His liking of Noah stems from how he reminds Vishnu of the time that he had saved Manu, the first man, from a great flood in the form of Matsya, his first avatar. Similarly, he likes Great A'Tuin because she reminds him of Akupara, the giant turtle who supports the world in Hindu mythology, as well as the time that he incarnated himself as Kurma, his second avatar.
- Since the concept and term "avatar" originated in Hindu mythology, Vishnu has shown a large interest in seeing how it evolved in other cultures and in later times, such as being used to refer to a person's form in virtual world or a remotely-controlled body. As a result, Vishnu sought out people like Jake Sully, Kazuto Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki in order to ask them about their experiences and, in turn, provide information on his own experiences and perspective on the matter. Although he found their conversations quite fun and informative, they themselves were somewhat confused by how Vishnu and his own avatars worked, since he was capable of, for example, having multiple avatars around simultaneously while also remaining a distinct individual. Vishnu tried to give them a detailed explanation, but it ended up being so complex that they politely asked him to stop and thanked him for the pleasant conversation despite their confusion.
- "Whenever righteousness wanes and unrighteousness increases I send myself forth. For the protection of the good and for the destruction of evil, and for the establishment of righteousness, I come into being age after age."
@Alecoene: Actually, one part of [[Pantheon/Dimensions Hell]] is frozen over.

- Any students who have been betrayed by their mentors (either by their mentor themselves or from discovering uncomfortable truths)? Right now, all I can think of are Keyblade wielder Terra, Galen Marek, and Yusuke Kitagawa.
- Any parents who believe they have the right to use their children's resources however they please regardless of their children's thoughts on that?

Oolong, Patron Saint of Fighting Games (Lee)

- Returning to: Gaming Genres
-
s:
- Demigod
- Symbol: A photo of himself doing a flying kick on a gong
- Alignment: His game has so little characterization, so either True Neutral or Neutral Good
- Theme Music: Main BGM 1 (arcade)
, Fight Theme (NES)
- Portfolio: herald of the first Fighting Game, preceding Street Fighter, Bruce Lee Clone, Not Quite Flight, prevailing over weapons-users without using weapons himself, Would Hit a Girl
- Domains: Kung Fu, Fighting
- High Priests: The Karate Champ fighters (as they are the first Fighting Game characters ever)
- Followers: Nearly every non-ascended Fighting Game combatant ever.
- Allies: Woolie, Son Goku, Bruce Lee
- Friendly Rivals: Ryu, all other Fighting Game gods, and many gods who have been featured in Fighting Games
- Not-So-Friendly Rivals/Enemies: The evil Fighting Game deities (e.g. M. Bison, Shao Kahn, etc.), John Kreese
- There have been some who have complained why Ryu isn't the God of Fighting Games (aside from the fact that he already has a lot of titles under his belt). With Oolong's ascension, now it is known.
- His fighting game was the first to feature HP bars, fighting until KO, characters using different fighting styles, female fighters, groin attacks, changing music when HP is low, and more than one Victory Pose. Being a genre progenitor, that's why Oolong was able to take the spot.
- As for who he is, all that's known of him is that he was on a quest to become the Grand Master of Kung-Fu, honoring the memory of his illustrious father. In order to do that, he would have to face some of the most skillful martial artists in one-on-one battles. Apart from punches and kicks, he has great jumping ability, which would be his only edge over his foes as they use all manner of weapons (except for the last one, Blues, based on Bruce Lee, who fights unarmed just like Oolong).
- Since most of his opponents employ Hit-and-Run Tactics, putting up a good fight with many of the fighting game deities has become…quite difficult, with all their combos, zoning attacks, faster ranged attacks, and more advanced techniques. Now, it might be he who has to hit-and-run.
- To further improve his skills, he trains with many other deities in the other Houses, mainly the House of Combat, particularly Ryu, who has since become the face of Fighting Games.
- Upon hearing of his ascension, Son Goku thought someone familiar to him has arrived. He was mistaken, but the two became friends anyway. That said, spars against one another proves difficult due to just how far apart their "weight classes" are.
- Given that one of his attacks lands on the opponent's family jewels, he's gotten the appreciation of Johnny Cage.

- Oppose: Unsympathetic undertakers/desirers of Parental Incest
- When it comes to swear words, none have said as many with such regularity as Detective Isaac Washington, Agent G's impromptu partner during the 1991 Papa Ceasar actually Clement Darling Case. Thanks to him, his game held the Guinness World Record for the most swear words in a video game ever (while it was later superseded by Mafia II, no one there cusses as much as Isaac has). And it's thanks to that that he ascended to the Pantheon. He was also the first from his game series to do so, and was the first to greet G when he followed years later.
- As for who the duck he is, Isaac was a detective who lived in Bayou City, Louisiana. When it got struck by a viral compound that turned the population into mutants (at the time, he was at a strip club at his apartment* ), upon returning, and finding out that Papa Caesar (who killed his father, except not really) was behind this (except it was actually Clement Darling), he worked together with G to put a stop to it.
- It is not known if he and G actually managed to go to Vegas, since the pilot turned out to be a mutant and they had to shoot it.
- Due to his potty mouth, he's not allowed near any children. Except those who already cuss regularly, like Tiny Tina or Joel's partner Ellie. And if he does cuss in range, he gets his speech censored from their ears. He is one of the few people to get his treatment due to his lack of self-control.
- The other is Torgue Flexington, though their only real interaction is when Isaac buys weapons from him for killing zombies with.
- Due to his association with G, the Magician has considered him just as much of an enemy as the aforementioned AMS agent. Issac for his part is just ready to go to town on Dr. Curien's creation and rip his motherfucking balls off.
- Got a few teases after it was discovered that Isaac apparently gets his nails manicured. That, or it was just an excuse to not dig into a corpse's entrails for a ringing phone inside of it. Especially since he had no problems holding that bloody phone G dug out afterwards. Then again, that's arguably just his fingers rather than his nails getting dirty, so… In any case, Isaac is not explaining his reasons.
- Has a gun he calls the Gwendolyn, which has the power (but not the crowd control) of the automatic shotgun, the range of the handgun, and has Bottomless Magazines.
- Ever since several elevator-related hazards throughout his adventure with G, Washington has acquired a strong case of elevatophobia, though if he's forced to take one, expect him to bitch about it the whole trip down (or up).
- Due to his encounter with a literal example in Clement Darling, he will not say the word "motherfucker" to anyone who actually screwed their mother. Other swear words are still fair game, though.
- As for people who actually did that (or their father), his reactions vary.
- For sympathetic "culprits", such as Aleph, Otacon, and Chibiusa (due to her tenure as Black Lady), he just avoids the subject altogether. He also loathes Wiseman for making the last one possible.
- For sympathetic victims, such as Mary, he offers his condolences.
- For jerk "culprits" in either direction like Chris Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, and Ragyo Kiryuin, he makes his opinions on them fucking clear.
- As for people who actually did that (or their father), his reactions vary.
@Wootz and Wikia -
.
@Magica - Given that she's a Lady of Black Magic, she could potentially interact with Morgan Le Fay and Morathi, who have a reputation in their homeworlds as one of the most powerful spellcasters. That said, Morathi's hedonism and sadism may be a bit too much for Magica to tolerate.

WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!@Wootz and Wikia:
@r-lock: IMO you should keep this
◊ image specifically for her depowered state in the 2017 version, it's got high quality and it's a full body pic.
She could be rivals with Shadow Weaver, another sorceress expert in dark magic who has similar complicated issues with her own family (abusing some and caring about others) and was also temporarily depowered. Also her creation of a "niece" derived from her shadow could lead to some talks with Ultraman Belial since Riku Asakura, his "son", was also a tool of his plans meant to further Belial's power and be absorbed into himself for that purpose not unlike Magica forcefully reabsorbing Lena to further her own powers. She might also have an interest in stealing form Wario, who hoardes many magical and non-magical treasures.
@nightelf: Sub-Zero and Obi-Wan both had their apprentices turn evil.

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!
Try Words.
A couple of ideas:
- Benjamin Cameron from The Birth of a Nation (1915) for The Klan: Ben Cameron is the Villain Protagonist (by today's standards), a Confederate soldier who feels compelled to do something about (what he thinks is) the disenfranchisement of white people in favor of the former slaves. He is presented as the one who starts the Ku Klux Klan within the movie's universe. I realize this is a very touchy movie filled with Values Dissonance, but seeing as how it pioneered a bunch of film tropes, I find that it is at least worth considering for the Pantheon. It would probably be vindicating to see Ben taken down some notches by the black characters in the Pantheon.
- Guido Anselmi from 8½ for Creator Breakdown: Guido Anselmi is a famous and acclaimed movie director who is in a creative rut over his next work and the story sees him descend into near-madness, culminating in him trashing his movie's set. The character is also the Author Avatar for the film's director Federico Fellini, who was going through a similar crisis at the time.

The Scrappy of the Trope Pantheon, God of Thumps

As a guy who argues for diversity in the Pantheon regardless of historical context, I dont have a problem against the former
for both, Also, it may be because the Filipinos’ heroes are also called the KKK so there’s that.

Pantheon server for all who click here. Lost too much money and time, this coaster ain’t stopping.@wootzits
for those ideas. I like the idea of the second one especially.
Statement: HK-47 is ready to serve, master.. Also, his entry on the Database on Anti Heroes can be removed now.
I'm now up for some ideas.
- Joe Gillis from Sunset Boulevard for Posthumous Narration. In the beginning of the film, a dead body of a man is found on the swimming pool, which is then goes to the narration of one Joe Gillis who explains what got him into the situation he landed himself into. A struggling filmwriter, he suddenly enters an old mansion where old Silent Movie star Norma Desmond takes him as her new screenwriter and he would take advantage of her plea for easy money but as time goes on, Joe grows more dependent on Norma due to monetary issues and with his deal with another screenwriter, as well as Norma's manservant growing increasingly annoyed at him would soon entail to Joe's first scene in the movie.
- The Children of Darkmembers from Dark Souls II for Soul Fragment. In the first game, Manus, Father of the Abyss was defeated but his soul was fragmented and various shards of his soul were scattered. On the second game which goes to a different kingdom of Drangleic, his fragments were then turned to individual beings, each being linked to him by their influences of the Abyss. They are found corrupting the various kings within the kingdom and those surrounding it. This allows Soul Fragment freed from Manus' profile and replaced with Glowing Eyes of Doom (unless someone can object).
@ wootzits: You are a bold one considering the Klan are the Designated Hero in that film. I'm abstaining and honestly afraid WILSON! might be proposed
No, I'm not proposing him, as fun as it'd be for Theodore Roosevelt to have a major IRL enemy
What interactions of manliness should I add to this utter chad?
Lordgenome, God of Beating Mechas with His Bare Hands (Lord Genome, The Spiral King, Biocomputer)

- Team Dai-Gurren: The lot, especially Viral (former subordinate), Nia Teppelin (his daughter), Simon, Rossiu and Kamina
- Others: Chuck Norris, Saxton Hale and other super manly figures in the Pantheon, Heavy Weapons Guy (HIS FISTS, THEY ARE MADE OF STEEL!), several Super Robot pilots, Satsuki Kiryuin, the Unova Elite Four, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Barry Allen of Earth -52, The Green Lanterns Of Sector 2814, The Four Guardians, Frisk, Sans
- Former allies: Lysandre, The Murder Machine, Copy X, Ra's Al Ghul
- Rivals: The Emperor of Mankind (with a fair amount of mutual respect), The Devastator
- Enemies: The Anti-Spiral, Ragyo Kiryuin, Gendo Ikari, Keel Lorenz, anyone who seeks to impede evolution, any and all enemies of humanity period (such as Lavos, Davros and the Dalek Empire, Frieza), The Dark Knights, Dr Weil, Majora, The White, YHVH, Junko Enoshima and Monokuma and hope crushers, the eviler side of the Grand United Alliance of Machines (particularly Lumine), Cell and Dr Gero his former allies
- Lordgenome was once a renaissance man and brilliant warrior who was humanity's greatest defender against the Anti-Spiral menace. However for all his might he was never able to find their homeworld, and come a revelation by the Anti-Spiral and not being able to fight him he was faced with an extreme option; subject humanity to repression in order to keep the population under one million so the Anti-Spirals would not destroy them. For a millennium he reigned as the Spiral King but was eventually defeated by Simon. Resurrected as a biocomputer, Lordgenome aided Team Dai-Gurren when the population reached the point that the Anti-Spirals slated for termination, and would sacrifice himself to give them the final power boost needed to defeat the Anti-Spiral King once and for all.
- He frequently spars with other deities - sometimes using his Lazengann, sometimes unarmed. Being made of metal (or riding in something made of metal) will not stop him from reducing you or your mecha to rubble with his bare hands. After all, HE! HAS! FISTS! Exceptionally manly displays will cause his head to burst into flames. He is just as manly as Chuck Norris, and the two love to test their strength.
- While he was once an Evil Overlord and enemy of Team Dai-Gurren, his time as Rossiu's Biocomputer and eventually sacrificing himself to save them against the Anti-Spiral has changed him into a staunch ally. He was responsible for Kamina's death (though not directly his killer), but the two have been on mostly friendly terms nevertheless ever since Lordgenome ascended after dying in a blaze of glory - much like Kamina himself - in the process helping to save the world from an oppressive tyrant much worse than he himself used to be.
- Many have compared Lordgenome to Darth Vader; they were once noble figures who fell into being dark figures, but still held humanity and died redeeming themselves against a greater evil. They are also the dads of a major heroic character. Vader welcomes the comparison and Lordgenome is glad to see the alleged Chosen One on the right side as he did. Lordgenome has also been compared to the Emperor of Mankind, however the former's position as ruler of mankind was far more despondent. The Emperor criticizes the fact he let the xenos win over him but was proud to see Lordgenome aid humanity in the end, and Lordgenome believes his Fantastic Racism is rather problematic. Despite their disagreements the two respect one another as protectors of the human race.
- He is basically the opposite of Gendo Ikari. Superficially they are both aloof, tragic yet Abusive Parents. However Gendo is ultimately a coward who languished in his sorrow, while Lordgenome is Hot-Blooded and truly redeemed himself. Lordgenome considers him the worst aspects of himself writ large. He holds a lot of contempt for Keel Lorenz and SEELE too, as he regards their solution to the hedgehog dilemna as "giving up, just like I did". He openly encourages the child pilots of the Evas to grow as people. Keel Lorenz simply mused that Instrumentality would be a solution for the Spiral Nemesis he and the Anti-Spiral feared.
- Back in the day Lordgenome had his own Elite Four in the Four Supreme Generals, elite Beastmen who would enforce his will. It'd led him to have a soft spot for the Unova Elite Four, and particuarly X's Four Guardians as they may have enforced a dictatorship, but had the best of intentions and unlike the Four Supreme Generals ultimately grew to be better people. Lordgenome wishes that Copy X would see the error of his ways as back in the day he was rather understanding of the extremes he took to solve the energy sources, but recognizes he may be too childish and anti-Reploid to change.
- If you are an enemy of humanity, you are an enemy of Lordgenome, period. This is especially true for the Daleks and their creator, the latter disgusts Lordgenome for abusing his knowledge of genetics to pervert Kaled development to the Daleks. Davros justifies this by saying he was saving them from certain death, like Lordgenome, however Lordgenome has pointed out he merely uses that as justification for his For the Evulz and Godhood Seeker tendencies. Dr Weil has roiled up Lordgenome by trying to pull the Not So Different card given his own oppression of Neo Arcadia, but Lordgenome just punched him so hard he had to rely on the Death Is Cheap nature of the pantheon to resurrect.
- Lordgenome is willing to admit that he used to be a lot like Lysandre. Lysandre believes that by drastically reducing the population he can preserve the beauty of the Earth. Lordgenome was an extreme Malthusian like Lysandre, and back in his Evil Overlord days he would've gotten along well with the leader of Team Flare. Of course, this is all in the past. Fellow Pokemon villain Cyrus has also become an enemy as he would take ridding the world of spirit as a solution to the problem of the Spiral Nemesis. However, the influence of Hareta has made him less antagonistic and motivated to do so, so he usually leaves Lordgenome alone.
- A serious contender for the title of "Most awesome chest hair in the Pantheon". His galaxy-shaped carpet gives even Saxton Hale's Australia-shaped chest hair a run for its money. Ditto for his facial hair, too. Another skill he has is that he can hack his way into the House of Technology, and he does it awesomely.
- Took great interest in one Satsuki Kiryuin after hearing of her story. Becoming an Evil Overlord in order to prevent a greater evil from triumphing struck a chord with him, and he decided to strike an alliance with her. It helps that her Elite Four reminds the Spiral King of his own Four Generals. He also finds the actions of her mother Ragyo absolutely abhorrent. Besides being the aforementioned greater evil, there's also her treatment of her daughter that disgusts Lordgenome. While it's true that Lordgenome wasn't as good of a father as he could've been towards Nia, he never thought of doing such a repulsive thing to her. Among his atonement is to treat Nia properly.
- It has been speculated that he disposed of his children as an Evil Overlord was because he knew they would be an agent of the Anti-Spiral or to fill himself with enough despair to balance out his Spiral Power. Lordgenome refuses to use such as an excuse and knows he was a bad father; he needs to know it improve his parenting skills. He says his love for Nia is the first step on his road to redemption. Several have taken note that she looks just like him as a kid.
- One of few to enter the Despair Event Horizon yet exit it. Where he once was despondent and believed he couldn't fight the Anti-Spiral, Lordgenome's passion was reignited and as far as he's concerned he and Team Dai-Gurren are a living refutation of Junko's ethos that despair is the most powerful force there is. Not only does he oppose her as despair is the antithesis of Spiral Power, but further mocked her by calling her a Hypocrite; how can enjoy her own despair if despair is pretty much the opposite of happiness? He proceeded to ignore any Hannibal Lecture and punch her out, to the satisfaction of many.
- Falling into the depths of despair means he can understand where most of the Dark Knights are coming from, however it has motivated him to oppose them in the end. Back in the day he would've agreed with the Murder Machine that they needs to be a strict law to the world, but no longer. He also would've bought Ra's Al Ghul's belief there are far too many humans. The Devastator agrees with him somewhat when it comes to his current beliefs, however to protect people from the Anti-Spiral and incarnations of Superman he needs to turn people into Doomsdays so they cannot be harmed. Lordgenome disagrees as he wishes to save humanity, and the Devestator's actions would rob them of many important qualities.
- Lordgenome has vowed to free the Barry Allen of Earth -52 from his bonding with the Red Death, bringing a little bit of hope to the Dark Multiverse.
- Lordgenome has become a strong ally of the Green Lantern Corps as they are all about Heroic Willpower, which is a core tenant of Spiral Power; he respects the brave. Lordgenome also gets along with Frisk for his determination, and Sans for still being determined to protect the world despite his cynicism.
- The Anti-Spiral would like to convince Lordgenome to revert back to his repressive ways, asking how he intends to deal with the Spiral Nemesis. The GUAM have argued that as they are not biological organisms they lack Spiral Power, and they are capable of evolution they can achieve so in tandem without fear of the Spiral Nemesis. Lumine was the proponent of this, however Lordgenome rejected this on multiple grounds; he knows the more evil members of the GUAM want to exterminate all organic beings, and more often than not want supremacy for themselves.
- The White have argued that it is ultimately better for everything to end than for the Forever War of the pantheon to continue, however Lordgenome argues that it would be giving up worse than he did and has come to believe there is always hope. He does believe they have a reason to hate YHVH as His principles of obedience and servitude hinder humanity's evolution. YHVH argues it is worth it to avoid the chaos and destruction of Spiral Power. While Lordgenome isn't the kind of extremist who might support Lucifer, the head of the GUAC is interested in his development and Spiral Power.
- Used his genetic wizardry to create the Spiral Power-void Beastmen, and help repopulate the Earth's flora and fauna. He has a lot of interest in the Genetic Engineering sub-house, leading him to see Cell. While he does like the fact Cell embraces a good fight, he is upset by his complete disregard for life and feels that Dr Gero wasted his talents on vengeance rather than aiding humanity. Dr Gero made no comment and Cell couldn't care less, having fully embraced his nature as a destroyer. He fully admits he thinks Lordgenome is a good fighter and welcomes him to challenge the bio-android in the next Cell Games.
- Frieza is an enemy of Lordgenome by being a uber-malevolent planet-busting alien invader, however after multiple resurrections he privately admits he might enjoy challenging Lordgenome rather than simply seeing him as a roadblock for supremacy. He might consider even taking care of Lavos for him; Lavos' perversion of evolution to "make its meal tastier" revolts Lordgenome and Frieza considers Lavos more of a Spanner in the Works than Lordgenome. Naturally Majora is also an enemy for trying to drop the moon on the world, which is a similar trick the Anti-Spiral pulled if populations exceeded a certain amountnote
- A regular in the Types of Mechas sub-house. Sure, he can beat down mechas personally but he still considers them useful. He is also somewhat licentious, passing the time with a Royal Harem of young women who can also become drills for his Lazengann. He's one of the regular johns at the Succubus District, where he ended up meeting with Oberyn. He has come to respect the Red Viper for his bravery and determination to do the right thing even at the cost of his own life.

First draft for Magica de Spell. She's an evil sorceress/witch/magic-caster who wants to take Scrooge's Number One Dime as she believes it actually brings great wealth (or wants it to make a Midas Touch spell without the typical drawbacks of gold-touching powers).
Feedback for interactions is welcome.
