Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

So I added some things. Should be about done but what do you all think?

Rajang, God of Lightning Bruisers (Child of Destruction, Gold Lion, Super Saiyan, Beast of Thunder)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mhwi_rajang_render_001_7.png
Furious Rajang
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: Its Hunter's Guild icon, World version
  • Theme Song: Golden Mane, it's World rendition
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Literal Lightning Bruiser, Dance Battler, Chucking pieces of rock, Good Old Fisticuffs, Killer Gorilla-Goat-Lion-Minotaurs, Power Dyes Your Hair with golden hues, Punched Across the Room, Rolling Attack, Shockwave Stomp, Sphere of Destruction, Status Buff, Wave Motion Lightning, Raiju, The Dreaded
  • Domains: Primates, Lightning, Brute Strength, Power, Rage
  • Followers: The rest of the Primate-like Fanged Beasts
  • Odd Friendship with: Son Goku, Sun Wukong, Big Bull
  • Rivals: Deviljho, Zinogre, Lagiacrus, Donkey Kong, King Kong
  • Enemies: Rathalos and Rathian, Unicorns such as Lady Amalthea, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and the rest of the Mane Cast, The Powerpuff Girls
  • Interests: Mojo Jojo
  • Spectated by: Howard and Kreese
  • Opposes/Opposed by: The Monster Hunters, Deities that can use Ice
  • Size: 849.73cm-1631.2cm
  • Once holding the whopping collective titles of Super Mode, Battle Aura, and Kamehame Hadoken, Goku also held the title of Lightning Bruiser but as time went on in the Pantheon it along with Battle Aura soon faded away and became limited to just two tropes. Debates went on as to who should take Lightning Bruiser for hours on end in the House of Combat. Around that time there were reports of a giant primate harassing both gods and followers around the different Houses, many of whom tend to be equine in nature. Some members in the House of Hunters were tasked with tracking down such a vexing creature and have laid many traps around the House of Combat predicting it will strike there next and ambush it. Indeed it would come but it would instead get the drop on them, rip apart the traps with its bare hands, and soon launch some to another sub-house over while others got crushed by giant pieces of rock it unearthed with its bare hands. One was even smashed repeatedly over the ground like a metronome. Seeing the power of such a beast firsthand made it a hot topic among the list of potential inheritors. Sure enough, the Court of Gods would soon come to select the beast, known as the Rajang, to fill such a role.
  • This Fanged Beast earned its infamy within the Monster Hunters, and it's certainly well deserved. As you can guess from its Pantheonic title it hits hard, it moves and hits fast, and can take what it dishes out. Both in its normal and enraged state signified by its hair turned a vibrant golden yellow. You'd do well to also avoid the thunder lasers it spits out in addition to its physical attacks such as a flurry of fisticuffs. To really give an idea of how unbelievably strong Rajang is this Fanged Beast is one of the monsters classified as a threat akin to Elder Dragons. Said Elder Dragons are classified mainly for being "...type[s] of phenomenon: disasters, cataclysms, living, breathing forces of nature."
    • Rumors exist of individual Rajang who's normal state of being is its own signature golden rage, appropriately titled Furious Rajang. Not only is it as strong as normal one when it Turns Red, but it also has its own Super Mode where its golden hairs stand on end, making it even stronger than before. Thankfully these variants are not common, but you'd do well to steel yourself when actually fighting them.
  • Said to hunt Kirins, electric Elder Dragons that resemble unicorns, for specifically the horns on their heads. It can be inferred here that said horns helps grant Rajang its signature Thunder abilities. And if reports like those done in the New World are of any indication it is easily able to overpower the smaller legendary monster with little trouble. Few if at all Kirins roam the Pantheon so the Rajang took to attacking anyone it viewed as potential substitutes. The first documented attack post-ascension was on Lady Amalthea alongside Princesses Celestia and Luna though it bit more than it could chew and trio's combined strength was enough to drive it away after a great battle. The latter two immediately warned Princess Cadance, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity along with the rest of their friends of such a creature roaming the Pantheon's grounds.
  • Howard and Kreese don't particularly spectate over animals and beasts, DeathWatch primarily having human(oid) combatants, but they decided to make an exception for Rajang. Both for being impressed at its sheer power and the fact that Kreese got his ass whiped across the ground when he was on the wrong end of its anger and thought the monster was all talk. It was so bad that by the time the proper authorities found him he was declared legally dead. Again.
Howard: "Never has nature documentaries been this awesome!"
    Kreese: "In-fuckin'-deed."
  • It has seen its fair share of battles from other monsters back home. Those from Zinogre, Lagiacrus, and Deviljho often are the most common to occur and are as brutal as you would imagine. There are some fights against Rathalos and Rathian, though neither can match Rajang's strength. Sometimes Rajang has been reported to do battle with the much bigger Nergigante, or more specifically its Ruiner variant. It even manages to perform Shoryuken on it while Ruiner Nergigante swipes the Fanged Beast aside.
  • Strong as this giant minotaur-gorilla is, it is not invincible. Though being on the receiving end of its attacks is brutal, as far as monsters of its strength class go it does lean toward being a Glass Cannon, even if one could not see it that way at first. In addition, there is also its weakness towards the ice element so be sure to have people with those in their disposal tagging along. Not a crippling weakness, but a weakness nonetheless.
  • Though a violent and territorial monster it, believe it or not, has formed some off its own allies. The first came in the form of Lightning Bruiser's former holder, Sun Goku, and the Monkey King, Sun Wukong. This is because Rajang takes a lot from Goku and by proxy takes from Sun Wukong who has many, many of his own expies.
    • Big Bull, ever so boisterous and full of testosterone and ham, also got along with Rajang. They locked horns once, and though Rajang came out on top Big Bull had trouble staying on the ground. Still undeterred by his loss, Big Bull views the monster in high regard and gets plenty excited when it encounters it again. On Rajang's end it soon learned not to mind Big Bull. Though he sometimes gets involved in its fights he never impedes on the Gold Lion's progress.
  • Though Rajang is nicer when it comes to the Monkey King, make no mistake he does not reserve the same amicable attitude towards his fellow primates. Both Donkey Kong and King Kong have crossed fists with the monster should they ever cross paths by chance and even then it is usually Rajang initiating the fights. Mojo Jojo tried countless times to convince the Fanged Beast to fight for him and against the Powerpuff Girls, but it doesn't budge. Not that it does stop Rajang from fighting them, as Mojo Jojo found out about Rajang when it was making a ruckus and they were sent in to helpnote , but it fights whoever it wants on its own terms.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

The Scrappy and Butt-Monkey of the Pantheon Thread
#149804: Nov 15th 2019 at 7:17:32 PM

With no responses besides someone reserving judgment on the proposal, here's my post again.

Wesley Collins, God of Rookie Red Rangers (Wes, Red Time Force Ranger)

  • Reasoning: All I know is that n3xus chose him (and his Timeranger counterpart, but we as a thread no longer support such dual profiles) for this. Probably because they're the first known in international (or at least US) audiences.

And here's my other one... for the trope Mistaken Confession. I really think my pick is good, since given the trope's nature, I don't think someone who does it regularly would fit it, if such a character even exists. So I think it's best to find someone whose actions that evoke the trope lead to something plot important, just like how Not What It Looks Like was decided for A2.

  • Candidate: Thomas Mutton
    • Reasoning: He thought Vincent figured out his "deadly nightmares" scheme when he was actually just asking about whether or not Catherine really existed, and it screws him over when Vincent then asks about Mutton's scheme. It also applies in Full Body where the same thing happens, except Vincent is just asking about what happened to Rin in his nightmare last night, and Mutton confesses to being responsible for the nightmares..

Ciggma Khint, God of Spell Blades (The Spell Fencer, Ikuma Naerik)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bdpb_spell_fencer.jpg
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His sword
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Spell Blade, Magic Knight, Nothing Personal, Perpetual Frowner, Professional Killer, Significant Anagram, Badass Baritone, Can Imbue His Blade With Silence As Well As Poison And Death, Only in It for the Money, Leaving When Things Go Sour For His Client Unless The Payment Is Exorbitant Enough, Technically Fulfilled His Goals: Paying For His Ill Daughter's Treatments, In Hiding In The Sequel
  • Domain(s): Spell Blade, Mercenary, Money
  • High Priest: Fayt
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Other Bounty Hunters such as Boba Fett and Agent 47
  • Enemies: Airy, Ouroboros
  • Additional Relationships: The Heroes of Luxendarc (sans Yew and Magnolia)
  • Dislikes: Talkative types
  • The Heroes of Luxendarc first encountered Ciggma Khint while he was under the employ of the K&P Merchantry in Ancheim. Twice he fought them alongside the Jackal and Erutus Profiteur separately before eventually ditching them when they started losing. His final bout with them in the first loop was alongside Eloch Quentis Khamer VIII, the then-ruler of Ancheim. Having been paid the entire treasury for his contract, Khint fought Tiz and company to the bitter end.
    • Prior to that, even before he claimed the Spell Fencer Asterisk, he served in the Eternian Duchy as a squadron commander, with Holly Whyte—who would eventually hold the White Mage Asterisk—as one of the members of the unit under his command. She and Einheria Venus—eventual holder of the Valkyrie Asterisk, and someone Edea Lee looked up to—viewed him in high regard.
  • Currently in hiding during the events of the Glanz Empire's attack, he was approached by a Pantheon envoy and invited. For reasons only he knows, he took the offer, and was eventually ascended as a deity.
  • He doesn't hold his defeat to Tiz and company against them; that's just part of the mercenary life. And he had ultimately got what he wanted by the end. And since he's a mercenary, should they wish to, he's willing to accept them as contractors.
  • As part of his position, he's been granted the abilities of his Spell Fencer Asterisk, which he heard was now in the Treasury.
  • He used to have exorbitant surcharges to likely help compensate his sick daughter should he end up dying, which is what happened to him before the Adventurer saved him (and many others Tiz and company defeated) from the brink. Since Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon, Khint was required to reassess his fee system before joining the market again for contracts.
  • Many mercenaries look down on Khint for his dynamic contract fee; they deem it unprofessional to back out on a client when a price is agreed on.
  • As someone who turned to a life of crime to pay for illness treatment, Khint sort of understands Walter White's motivations when the drug lord hired him one time. Though for White's it's his own while for Khint's it's his daughter's. That said, given White's occasional bouts of ego, which can lead to recklessness, as well as how he treats his allies, Khint keeps their relationship professional, and is always ready to leave should things get too dicey.
  • Given the exorbitant bounty on John Wick, Khint is among those who fancy a chance in claiming it. Given their differences in their Weapon Of Choice, he often ends up as just another notch in Wick's kill count.
  • "My contract ends here. I'll take my leave."

Born, God of Railroaded Player Characters Taking Blame

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nihilumbra_born.png
  • While it's implied he can take on any form he likes, but just never had a reason to, Born takes the vague shape of a scarecrow, but around two feet shorter.
  • With his color powers, Born can change the color of certain surfaces/solids (and not midair), changing their properties, though only a limited amount can be placed at a time. They can also be removed by lava, though it's not known if other fluids can do the same.
    • Light Blue works like Frictionless Ice. Born runs faster on it. Heavy objects on it can he moved with comparative ease as well.
    • Green allows for bouncing of projectiles or oneself, but never when one is starting off from it.
    • Brown hampers movement, but also masks noise from underground dwellers and counters any form of suction nearby. It also allows Born to stick to a wall and jump off it if the wall is brown.
    • Red burns and destroys those that stay on it for too long, and serves as Born's only means of attack. He can survive it for a short time, alleviated by constantly jumping off of it, but even that is a temporary measure and Born will need to rest elsewhere lest he burn up, too. It can also enrage fireflies to emitting more light, and agitate mounted guns to firing faster.
    • Yellow generates electricity and can be used to temporarily connect power generators to appliances.
  • Given his fragile body, he has a respawn system in effect. When he dies, he always comes back at the entrance of any sub-House/Dominion he's in.
  • There are those who dislike Born due to the destruction wrought from his flight from the Void, but there are those who give justification to his actions, stating that as a recently-born entity, he had no sense of morality, only a will to live. And ultimately, he set things right after the Void was convinced to leave him alone and righted the wrong he did by somehow getting the Void to bring back the worlds it consumed trying to reclaim Born.
    • This is also why Born opposes those who consciously desire oblivion of all life.
  • Despite being an entity of darkness, Born isn't more fond of the sub-House of Darkness and Shadow than he is of any other sub-House in the House of Nature.
  • For some reason, Born finds an unexplainable connection with Cpt. Martin Walker, who's also undergone a journey wrought with disaster that went beyond his control, and took blame for it (as well as the "player controlling them").
  • The Inklings aren't quite sure what would happen if they're playing Turf War with Born in the area. Given his power to place colors, he has the potential to mess up their game depending on what colors they're currently taking on.
  • As a being from the Void, Xemnas holds interest in Born. So does Tabuu. Born doesn't like their attention.
  • When Count Bleck heard of Born's tale, he was reminded of the time he tried to end all of existance through the void, only Born was ending things just by existing because the Void wanted to reclaim him. At least the Void from whence Born came from eventually left him be.
  • Chell once crossed paths with Born while he was painting some area green. It reminds her of some Aperture Science goo that she's had to go through before.

New drafts for Yumina and Natsumi. I haven't found any good transparent pics for Natsumi, so if anyone could help me with, I'd appreciate it.

Yumina Ernea Belfast, Goddess of Girlfriends That Help Score More Girlfriends
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yumina_ernea_belfast.png
  • Possible/New House: Love Interests
  • Ascending on:
  • [tup]s: (Nightelf 37, The Wikia Editor)
  • Lesser Goddess (Greater Goddess with Brunnhild)
  • Theme Song: "Another World"
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Domain: Love, Nobility, Polyamory
  • Symbols: Nine engagement rings.
  • Portfolio: Love at First Sight, Harem Seeker, The Ojou, Living Lie Detector, Detect Evil, Jealous of Big Breasts, Guile Heroine, the Girlfriend that Controls the Other Girlfriends in Touya's Harem,
  • Followers: The Bride Conference (the eight other wives of Touya Mochizuki)
  • Allies: Touya Mochizuki (her husband), Lisesharte Atismata, Princess Zelda, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Kotori Itsuka, Belldandy, Kyu Sugardust
  • Enemies: The House of Tainted Love, especially Bellatrix Lestrange and Raynare, Lord Voldemort, Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: the Occult Research Club
  • Opposes: the Dursleys, Naze Turbine and Amida Arca
  • Annoyed with: Ichika Orimura, Natsuru Senou
  • Conflicting Opinion: Princess Cadance
  • Yumina Ernea Belfast is the heir apparent to the throne of Belfast and one of the wives of the hero Touya Mochizuki. While she wasn't the first girl to join Touya's harem, she did formalize the idea of making a harem for Touya, which was made easier by her parents' approval and polyamory was legal in Belfast. Since then, Yumina has served as the leader of the Bride Conference, helping solve any problems faced by Touya's harem. Recognizing her achievements, the Court of the Gods cleared Yumina to ascend.
  • As soon as Yumina settled into her new temple, she became friends with Tohka Yatogami, who is just as devoted to Shido Itsuka as Yumina is devoted to Touya; not to mention she reminds Yumina of her friend and fellow wife Yae Kokonoe. Tohka introduced Yumina to her fellow Spirits Origami, who also shared Yumina's dream of becoming a bride, and Kotori, who can relate to Yumina's duties to the Bride Conference. As comamnder of Ratatoskr, Kotori often helps Shido with his dates with the Spirits, so she also assists Yumina whenever she is able.
  • Often goes to the House of Royalty to study under Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Yumina has impressed Zelda with her wisdom at an early age, her magical talent and her skill with a bow. Under Zelda's mentorship, Yumina has also become friends with Lisesharte Atismata, who also wants to become a worthy queen to her people. Yumina and Lisha have also bonded over the fact that well, their bodies haven't developed that much.
  • Became close friends with Belldandy, who reminds her of Olga Strand. Surprised that Belldandy was already a goddess when she ascended, Yumina asked Belldandy how she is old, she always says 17 years old. note  Belldandy has become something of a Cool Big Sis to Yumina and does everything she can to help her in anything regarding the Bride Conference.
  • Yumina thinks twice about going to the House of Tainted Love, especially after hearing that one of its inhabitants, the fallen angel Raynare, has a voice similar to hers. She was horrified upon learning that not only did she never love Issei Hyodo, she even killed him just to obtain power. She isn't all too fond of Bellatrix Lestrange either, for being an unrepentant psychopath who faithfully serves the internationally feared dark wizard Voldemort. As much as she loves Touya, she is aware of his flaws and isn't afraid to scold him whenever he screws up. She hates Raynare and Bellatrix with a passion and has promised never to become like them.
    • Despite her hatred for Raynare, she doesn't look forward to working with the Gremory household. While she respects their skills and talents, especially Rias Gremory for her leadership, she is weirded out by their weird sexual fetishes. Upon learning Issei has the power to destroy people's clothes, Yumina was absolutely shocked and forbade Issei to ever get near her. She had a bad experience with slimes that tore apart her clothes back when she was exploring a dungeon and she doesn't want a repeat of that.
    • Her hatred for Voldemort was intensified upon learning that not only does Voldemort hate the idea of love, he even broke his soul into seven pieces just to secure immortality. Thanks to Kotori and Ratatoskr, Yumina also became aware of the threat Isaac Westcott poses. The fact that Westcott is also allies with Voldemort doesn't endear him to Yumina, either. On a lesser note, she doesn't really like the Dursley family not only for abusing Harry Potter, but because they hate magic and polyamory. She was planning to bombard their temple with magical arrows but Harry talked her out of it.
  • Princess Cadance, who has trouble lending support to harems, has gone on record saying that she disapproves of Yumina's work in the Bride Conference. She doesn't personally hate Yumina, it's just that harems are complicated and she is a staunch defender of monogamy. Yumina has replied that even with the harem aspect in full effect, she loves Touya, not to mention that polyamory is legal in Belfast, so she doesn't see what's the big deal. For now, they both agreed to disagree. On the other hand, Kyu Sugardust wholeheartedly supports Yumina and often lends her support in upholding the Bride Conference. The three goddess are willing to work together when fighting the deities from the House of Tainted Love, though.
    • She listened to Cadence and Kyu's discussions about Ichika Orimura and Natsuru Senou and went on to investigation to see what the fuss was all about. Needless to say, she was not pleased with Ichika and Natsuru's stupidity and incomprehensiveness to love and has done everything in her power to make sure to Touya doesn't become as stupid as they are. That said, she does feel a bit of sympathy towards the former for having to endure terrorist attacks on a regular basis and the latter for being brainwashed by the girl he loves.
    • On one of the rare occasions Cadence and Kyu were on speaking terms with one another, they told Yumina about a Naze and Amida, and about their… "marriage dynamic" (as well as the reasons behind them). While impressed and sympathetic to what they did, the fact that they're technically criminals prevents her from becoming allies with them since as a daughter of a noble family, they're on opposite ends of the law. That doesn't mean she hates them; it just means that she cannot bring herself to support their actions.

Natsumi, Goddess of Empathic Shapeshifting (Witch)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natsumi_3_9803.jpg
Click here to see her true form
  • Possible/New House: Shapeshifters
  • Ascending on:
  • Lesser Goddess (Intermediate Goddess with Haniel)
  • Theme Song: "Bipolar Emotion"
  • Portfolio: Flying Broomstick, Uses an Idealized Female Form, Attractive Adult, Cute Child, Can Turn People Into Children, Master of Disguise, Still Beautiful in Her True Form
  • Alignment: True Neutral with Good tendencies
  • Domain: Shapeshifting, Love, Playfulness, Sarcasm, Self-loathing
  • Allies: Shido Itsuka, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Kotori Itsuka, Yoshino, Miku Izayoi, Mana Takamiya, Mayuri, Dark Magician Girl, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall, Nine the Phantom, Betty Suarez, Billy Batson/Shazam, Kiki, Kagura
  • Enemies: Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott, Lord Voldemort, the Evil Queen, Mother Gothel, Mystique, Envy, Alessi
  • Natsumi was just a young girl who wanted to be accepted and praised by others, but she was always ignored and rejected. Upon becoming a Spirit, she finally got the chance to fulfill her dream and used her powers to attain a become a beautiful woman. When she met Shido Itsuka, she thought she had discovered her true form and attempted to ruin her life. Fortunately, Shido saved Natsumi when she was in danger and she allowed him to seal her powers, wanting to be accepted by people as her real self.
  • Natsumi's adult form is actually a response to how she perceives the world after several visits on Earth in the past. Shido persuades her to grow out of it and stay true to herself, although she's not above using it to tease others or when she is forced into a battle.
  • Shido and the other Spirits welcomed Natsumi into the Pantheon with open arms. Natsumi deeply appreciates the Spirits' friendship, as they were the ones who accepted her as her real self and taught her that True Beauty Is on the Inside. Natsumi feels really attached to Kotori Itsuka and Yoshino for sharing the same age as her.
  • Natsumi's magic allows her to transform objects into whatever she desires. She can turn dangerous explosives into comical items and transform a person's body in order to remove injuries, although she admits this is just temporary and the person would still need medical aid. Both Hermione Granger and Minerva McGonagall find this power fascinating and think it must be an exotic form of Transfiguration.
  • Intimidated by the beauty of the Dark Magician Girl, to the point she mostly uses her adult form to talk to her. Fortunately, the Dark Magician Girl has been nothing but supportive for Natsumi in her attempts to become accepted in her true form. Natsumi also became friends with Betty Suarez, who had to endure countless insults in her work at a fashion magazine. She even offered to use her powers to enhance Betty's attractiveness, but Betty declined, because she never felt any need to change any part of herself. She loved herself, exactly as she was.
  • Supports Nine the Phantom on her path to redemption. At least Nine did what she did because she wanted to protect her sister, Natsumi attempted to ruin Shido's life just to secure her own loneliness. Nine, on her part, understands where Natsumi is coming from and urges her not to do the same mistakes she did.
  • Enemies with Isaac Westcott, as it was under his orders that Ellen Mira Mathers tried to kill her. Not too fond of Voldemort, either, as he says Natsumi's powers as a key to regaining his beautiful looks. He may hate looking like his Muggle father, but he does admit that obtaining Natsumi's powers could be useful in gathering more followers. She also tries to put as much distance from the Evil Queen as she is able, seeing the Evil Queen as the person she would have become had Shido not saved her. She also hates Mother Gothel for stealing Rapunzel from her parents and keeping her Locked inside a tower, bringing her bad memories of the time she kidnapped Shido's friends.
  • Became friends with Shazam, since he too had the ability to turn into an adult. He also warned her against using her adult form to buy beer. He did it once and it tasted terrible. Envy also hates Natsumi for having the same powers as him, but without any of the drawbacks. She has drawn unwanted attention from Mystique, who thought she could turn Natsumi to the dark side by preying on her insecurities and self-loathing. Fortunately, Natsumi was not fooled and rejected the evil mutant. Even so, Mystique remains undaunted and believes that sooner or later, Natsumi will come to her.
  • Befriended fellow broomstick-riding witch Kiki and both enjoy having races all over the Pantheon to see who has the fastest broomstick. She was also fascinated by Kagura's ability to switch between child and adult forms depending on how her power level. Kagura admits that the older she becomes, the less stable her power will become, so Natsumi has decided to help her remedy that. She also defeated Alessi when he attempted to use his Stand to de-age her. Not only did Natsumi proved to be as capable as a child as she was as an adult, but she was quickly able to instantly reverse Sethan's effects. Since then, Alessi has done his best to avoid her.

As always, suggestions are welcome.

What else should I add to Maltruant?

Maltruant, God of Being Stuck In A Time Loop (Mr Disassembled, Clockwork Guy, The Rogue Chronosapien, Overgrown Wind-Up Toy)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maltruant_1664.png
  • House: Time Placement (House of Time and Space)
  • Greater God (drops to Lesser outside of time)
  • Symbol: Himself
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Seeks Divinity By Sabotaging The Big Bang To His Favor, Clockwork Creature, Red and Black and Evil All Over, Time Master, Initially Split Into Pieces, Lacking Loyalty, Last Antagonist Of The Original Canon, Narcissist, Knight of Cerebus, Lightning Bruiser, Weakened Outside Of Time, Stuck In A Loop Of Destruction And Rebuilding, Cause And Effect Looped
  • Domains: Time, Evil, Aliens, Clockwork, God Complexes
  • Alliesnote : Vilgax, The Master, Krona, Eobard Thawne, Dark Danny, Porky Minch
  • Enemies: BEN TENNYSON and his friends, The Pantheonic Time Police (especially Professor Paradox and Dialga), The Doctor, Clockwork, anyone who protects the sanctity of time in general, Luke Skywalker, Fused Zamasu, Eternity, Arceus, LORD ENGLISH, Kronika, Rassilon, The Monitor and Anti-Monitor, Chronos, Mercurius, Homura Akemi
  • Maltruant is a narcissistic and power-hungry Chronosapien who went rogue, having masterminded the Time War. Defeated at the dawn of time, he slowly had himself re-assembled. Out of sheer ego he sought to go back to when time began, in hopes of intervening with the creation of the universe and remake it in his image. He would be defeated by Ben Tennyson at the dawn of time, leading to him being re-assembled and the whole process repeating itself over, a Time Loop Trap he cannot get out of.
  • Maltruant was supposed to be locked in his time loop forever, but somehow managed to break out of the loop. Ben and Paradox were shocked, and Maltruant initially tried to explain it as "to paraphrase one renegade time traveler, time can be rewritten!". Eventually he admitted his savior was in fact the Reverse-Flash, who used his status as a living paradox to break Maltruant out of the loop for a larger goal involving the Time Breakers, and to further his own ends. And Maltruant has chosen to help him out...for the moment.
  • Has some impressive mastery over time, able to halt, alter, slow down and speed it up, and create after-images. He takes great pride and joy in manipulating time, however there are time masters superior in strength to him. Clockwork and Chronos are temporal deities who's power is much greater than his, and to his great misfortune are opposed to his antics of subverting time to his desired outcome. Of course, he still believes he can exploit their power to his own, such as his ego.
  • In his pursuit of gaining ultimate power through the manipulation of time, Maltruant sought out to capture and force Dialga to create a universe to his liking. However if that isn't enough, he is perfectly fine with capturing Dialga's creator. He heard Arceus can make a new version of the Creation Trio in the Sinjoh Ruins, which has a lot of potential. Among those he's hunting are Kronika(to take her hourglass) and Eternity, for being the living representation of the Marvel universe.
  • Zamasu hates him as much as Lord English, for being a mortal who breaks the Time Travel Taboo to use time as a means of achieving godhood. No less villainous that Maltruant, the rogue Chronosapien didn't even bother to point out all of Zamasu's hypocrisies, nor did he care. He did note that they do share one thing in common; absolute hatred towards Lord English. Maltruant hates English as much as he does Ben, as English' mastery over causal loops is an eternal reminder and threat of the infinite loop of failure his defeat and reassembling doomed him to until Eobard Thawne rescued him.
  • He's also aware of other deities who've been in time loops, such as the SOS Brigade, Phil Connors and Homura Akemi. Of course, it's not like he cares for their plight or anyone but himself. If anything, he's deeply envious towards Homura since she was able to exploit it to achieve her goals.
  • Though Lord English is the foe he hates most, their villainous ambitions towards time leads to them sharing enemies in the Pantheonic Time Police. Clockwork ends up prioritizing English and Ben over them despite the former being way out of his league, and being hit on even more sides worsens his chances of victory. But his ego won't allow it. On a smaller note, Luke Skywalker opposes him for being a megalomaniac like Palpatine and doesn't like how he sounds like Maltruant, but without the accent.
  • Present before his universe began, he knows it was the fifth-dimensional Contemelia who made it. Given their higher state of existence they appear as whatever someone finds most pleasing, which in Maltruant's case was himself. Really says a lot about the guy. Maltruant has no interest in getting near the 5D imp Mr Mxyzptlk due to his bad experiences at the dawn of time. He has a larger contempt for Mercurius, despite being way out of his league, for representing Eternal Recurrence; something that like Lord English's actions reminds him of the Time Loop Trap he was stuck in.
  • Maltruant played on Krona's hunger for knowledge of creation by saying that together, they may learn the greater mystery and obtain great power. Inevitably it'll end in a betrayal, but that's expect from him. As his plans for the dawn of time are similar to the Anti-Monitor, the Monitor opposes him on principle. As for the Anti-Monitor, Maltruant knows he isn't chatty and his omnicidal mania hinders his desire for domination.
  • Had bartered with Vilgax for transport repairs, giving him a Chronosapien Time Bomb as payment. This weapon is almost as destructive as Davros' Reality Bomb(while also having much less set-up required), as Vilgax used it to destroy every timeline with a Ben Tennyson except for the one he was in due to that Ben never getting the Omnitrix. The Pantheonic Time Police is doing whatever they can to ensure he never gets one, as the detonation was only negated through time travel.
  • Well aware that the Time Lords are similar to his race of Chronosapiens, and that the Doctor is similar to Professor Paradox. And safe to say the Doctor isn't a fan of him. Rassilon opposes Maltruant, but more on the principle that he is the supreme Time Lord and knows Maltruant is eyeing up his position. The Ultimate Sanction is something the Chronosapien is very intrigued by
  • His status as a rogue Chronosapien and desire for domination managed to strike a chord with the Master, who felt they would be able to work out an alliance of convenience. One that they will inevitably void, as is typical of them. He has also promised Dark Danny and Porky Minch free rein to abuse the timeline if it helps him gets what he wants, but they know not to trust him in the long run.
  • As egotistical as he is, even Maltruant doesn't want to mess with Yuuki Terumi and Hakumen. Their armor allows them to cut time itself without risk of a paradox. Maltruant couldn't use his time powers outside of time, even he doesn't favor his chances against their specific temporal power.

''The Gang Joins the Pantheon''

The Gangnote , Godly Crew of Constantly-Backfiring Plans

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_gang_4161.jpg
Left to right: Mac, Dee, Charlie, Frank & Dennis
  • Quasideities
  • Symbol: Paddy's Pub or their Episode Title Card
  • Theme Song: Temptation Sensation
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil with hints of Stupid Evil, but Charlie is more a case of Chaotic Stupid.
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Failure, Alcohol, Terrible People
  • Allies: It's mostly limited; lets be honest, hardly anyone wants to be around these guys.
  • Enemies: House of Friendship, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, good-aligned members of the House of Love (Dennis), Matilda Wormwood (Frank), Buck Hughes (Mac)
  • Rivals: The Seinfeld group, Moe Szyslak, Rodin (one-sided on the Gang's side for the latter), Charlie Harper, Gaston (Dennis)
  • Pities: Jah'Rakal (Dee, to an extent)
  • Additional Relationship: M. Night Shyamalan
  • Evil Counterparts: to The Friends crew
  • The Gang consists of Dennis Reynolds, Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds, Charlie Kelly, and Ronald "Mac" McDonald. Together they run Paddy's Pub, a struggling South Philadelphia Irish-themed dive bar. Dennis is the vain prep from a rich family, Dee is his shallow, shrill, and insecure twin sister who has aspirations of being an actress, Charlie is the high-strung idiot savant who is obsessed with the waitress at a coffee shop, Mac is the wanna-be bruiser, forever stuck in adolescence as well as t-shirts with the sleeves cut off, and Dennis and Dee's neglectful father, Frank, is the shady, millionaire businessman who is drawn to the gang's depravity and bankrolls their schemes. They have one thing in common, though: they are some of the most horrible people around.
  • Somehow, The Gang managed to get a spot in the Pantheon, just not in the way any of them intended or even the title they wanted. They were the former high priests of the Seinfeld group, but one day, they decided to try and take over their temple for their place by setting traps all over said temple. However, they ended up falling into the traps themselves, and Seinfeld himself kicked them out for attempted murder. Supposedly, one of the higher-profile gods was watching this (mostly because he found it hilarious) and they received Can't Get Away with Nuthin', helped by the fact that failing at their plans wasn't exactly an uncommon occurrence for them. Since then, none of them have spoke with the Seinfeld group again, though, they never had the best (or even decent) relationship in the first place.
    • The choice to make them Quasideities was to make sure they don't get enough power that it goes to they're already inflated egos (Dennis in particular). So despite being in the the pantheon, they're still holding that much power.
  • The Gang are currently trying to take away the title of Sitcom from the Ricardos, feeling that they deserve it more for their show lasting longer than theirs. The Ricardos were very angry upon hearing this, with Ricky noting how while that might be the case, they have a bigger cultural impact than them and they would never let the title be stolen by some of the worst people imaginable.
  • Their temple is recreation of Paddy's Pub which serves customers who'd like to get their fix of alcohol. Unfortunately for the Gang, they have a couple of rival bars in Moe's Tavern and The Gates of Hell. One scheme committed by them to sabotage the former was to get Dee to hit on Moe so she can distract him and steal his beer supply, which ended up all for nothing since his tavern was located in the near-unlimited-in-booze House of Alcohol. For Rodin, he doesn't care about them as serving drinks is secondary to his weapon-selling business.
  • They are often considered the darker counterparts to the Friends group due to the Gang also being an ensemble group of comedic folks, but while the Friends group can occasionally be jerks, the Always Sunny gang are downright terrible people, which makes them wonder how such shitty fellows can get along with each other. Mac in particular hates them for the times they made fun of gay people, which isn't a bad statement.
  • The Gang has an interesting relationship with M. Night Shyamalan, of all people. One time, Dennis and Dee were originally cast as extras in an unnamed film of his, but after they kept ruining his assistant director's takes, Frank, then Dee and Dennis' agent, convinced said assistant director to fire them and take their place. And around the same time, Mac and Charlie intended to write a screenplay to pitch to Shyamalan titled The Fifth Sense, but gave up and instead designed a poster for the potential film and retitled it, Crime Stinks: The Smell of Penetration, which did not go anywhere. Shyamalan has gone on record stating that he doesn't have any memory of even seeing them on set and would never work with them at all.
  • Charlie:
    • He does most of the janitorial jobs around Paddy's, and despite his lack of intelligence, he is actually the one keeping the bar afloat through his work ethic and bouts of ingenuity. Charlie likes The Janitor for also having a decent amount of power (even more so than Charlie) for someone who just does cleaning duties. He has even tried to get him to join the Gang in some of their schemes, but Glenn has declined multiple times, not because he thinks they're unethical, but mostly for finding them completely far-fetched to become even remotely successful.
    • Charlie can be found at the House of Music sometimes, where he is seen working on his music. The house actually lets him because, despite being functionally illiterate, he's actually pretty good at songwriting and using the keyboard. Some of the songs he plays there include "The Nightman", "I Like Paddy's Pub", and "Go Fuck Yourselves".
    • Speaking of "The Nightman", Charlie once wrote and staged an entire play based around the title character casted with the rest of the Gang. He once put a single performance of said play in the House of Theater, but after the showing unexpectedly sold-out, the musical has since then become a staple of the house. It helps that many gods have said it's perhaps their best adventure.
    • Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori give some confused looks when the saw Charlie, mistaken him for Dr. Newton. They soon found out that Charlie was even stranger.
  • Mac:
    • He's noted to be a devoted Catholic, though he only ever seems to remember that when he needs to rub it in his friends' faces. Otherwise, he's perfectly fine with completely going against the teachings of his religion. He's disliked by most of The House of Faith for being a selfish jerk and find him annoyingly preachy for someone who likes to generally forget about what he believes in.
    • Due to his beliefs, he had to hide his attraction towards men by being a Heteronormative Crusader for some time before finally coming out of the closet. In spite of this, practically every LGBT ascendant largely can't stand him due to his aforementioned shittyness as a human being. One queer person who was okay with him was Buck Hughes, who even offered to invite him for a night of "fun" over at his temple; Mac decided against it as he found Buck disgusting even by his standards.
    • Mac possesses a desperate desire to emulate the tough-as-nails macho stars of the 80s action movies that he's obsessed with. Unfortunately for him, his Dirty Coward nature and lack of real strength makes that nothing but a distant dream. In an attempt toughen himself, he went to the House of Combat to fulfill his dream of becoming a kung-fu hero by training with Bruce Lee. This practice ended after many hours of Mac misaiming his punches and Lee giving him millions of broken bones.
  • Dennis:
    • He has a "foolproof" system for seducing and dumping any woman titled the D.E.N.N.I.S System, which stands for: Demonstrate Value, Engage Physically, Nurture Dependence, Neglect Emotionally, Inspire Hope, and Separate Entirely. Unsurprisingly, the Good members of the House of Love find this system horribly creepy and it doesn't help that most gods considered him a sociopath to begin with.
    • Dennis usually gets the ladies interested, but can't seem to quite charm them into sleeping with him. One person he's very jealous of is Charlie Harper, who's also a Handsome Lech but has seen more success in getting around. Dennis even made a bet with him on who can get the most sex within a week, thinking that he would somehow build up some charisma to win. Said bet ended with Charlie doing every known sexual position known to mankind twelve times of while Dennis couldn't convince a girl to walk to his bedroom even if he promised money.
    • He's notorious for his egotism and feels that he's the most important person in the world. Though, don't try to ever remotely criticize him, or he will feel completely crushed. One time, he encountered Gaston, who didn't see how he felt the world revolves around him and argued with Dennis on who was the best guy in the Pantheon, which eventully stopped after they got tired from three days of bickering against each other.
  • Dee:
    • One common insult she is given is "bird", and one time, she got so annoyed at the rest of the Gang for their constant usage of it that she requested a temple of her own. However, the court of the gods would only give her one in, well, guess which house. Strangely, Dee did initially agreed to this as she found them so irritating, only to move back in with them after the Murkrow flock kept stealing her belongings.
    • Dee is often considered The Friend Nobody Likes in their group and has to deal with them criticizing everything about her; from her appearance, to her voice, to her sense of humor. For this reason, she feels for Jah'Rakal and his inability for any of his (always temporary) allies to like him. Though, this sympathy is largely limited - even Dee also finds him kind of a douche, and Jah'Rakal doesn't care about allies.
    • Dee is an aspiring actress who can't, well, seem to act. In spite of this, she went to the House of Theatric Performers thinking she can hang out with all of those big-name actors because of her "talent". Unsurprisingly, everyone there saw through her lackluster credibility and banned her almost instantly.
Dee: "What the hell? You guys let some rando who dressed up as a dumb lizard as a resident of the house and even gave Charlie permission to spend some time here, but won't even let me in? What gives?"
Charlie: "I don't know if you should be calling that guy a rando, Dee. He played Godzilla, who's apparently this very popular monster."
Dee: "He's a fictional character, Charlie. It's not like he's going to come up to m-"
      [A thunderous stomp is heard]
Dee: [Turns around and looks way up to see the titular kaiju with a pissed-off expression]
Dee: "All of this fantastical B.S. is supposed to be fake in this world, right?"
Charlie: "Not really. In fact, the other day I went-"
Dee: "I'm not going to used to this shit."
  • Frank:
    • One time when the Gang put on a wrestling show to support the troops, Frank played a literal Garbage Wrestler called "The Trash Man". While all of the wrestling ascendants laughed at him when he showed his persona to everyone (it didn't that he throws actual garbage and then eats it), two people that seem to like it are Vinny and Joel, who both constantly quote "I'M THE TRASH MAN! I START EATIN' GARBAGE!", along with other memetic lines from him. Both livestreamers enjoy hanging out with him, if only to see what shenanigans he and the rest of the Gang will go through next.
    • Frank was an Abusive Parent who relentlessly emotionally tortured Dennis and Dee. Naturally, many children and most people in the House of Family hate him for this, among other reasons; one kid in particular who despises everything about him is Matilda Wormwood, who finds him an even more depraved version of her former father, partially for how he looks. On the other hand, the ascendants who tormented their own offspring, including Ghetsis Harmonia, Relius Clover, and Ragyo Kiryuin, think he was a perfectly good dad who is unfairly treated by most of the Pantheon, with Ragyo in particular feeling he should've gone further with his kids.
    • He is a noted Gun Nut who is fond of drawing and audibly cocking his revolver and then waving it around casually. This has gotten him banned from the House of Firearms, to the annoyance of Frank, who owns several other guns and wanted to chat with fellow gun owners. He tried to show how careful he was by showing said revolver with its safety on, only for it to go off and kill a random bystander, which made him completely Persona Non Grata among the entire House of Weapons.

[up]So is Dennis going to try to get girls in the pantheon into the boat in the middle of nowhere and nowhere to go because of the "implication"?

The long awaited Pantheon Groups rework is now in session. I just need some feedback, or you can even help with reworking the page.

[up][up] I actually have a group in mind with Nagato and The Coolest Guy Ever as co-leaders, with a collection of about 8-10 anti-villains in it. Still need to decide on a name though.

[up] I suggest you get persistent with that post (But not too much) so that this could be conversed often and done quicker.

Insert Conspiracy Theory about Four Babies for some reason...

Haven't been active due of reasons. So might as well post something to confirm I am still here.

Bridget, God of the Surprise Gender Reveal, and Patron Saint of Yo-Yos (Buri-chan, Nun Boy)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bridget_guilty_gear_xxac.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His yo-yo and his teddy bear Roger
  • Theme Music: Simple Life
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Effeminate Looking Guys Who Need to Tell the Truth, Raised As a Girl Due of His Hometown's Beliefs, Uses a Killer Yo-Yo, Accompanied by a Killer Teddy Bear, Bounty Hunter, Most Normal of the Fighters
  • Domains: Appearance, Gender, Yo-yos, Teddy Bears, Nuns
  • Allies: May, Dizzy, Hasta, Ness, Amane Nishiki
  • Afraid of: Naughty Bear
  • Bridget was born as a twin in a town where there was a superstition where the birth of same-gender twins would bring great misfortune. Because Bridget's parents didn't want to either kill or exile either twin, they decide to raise Bridget as a girl to try to play around the curse. While Bridget loved his parents all the same, he did come to realize how guilty his parents felt about doing it. As such, he decided to become a bounty hunter to gather money and proof his masculinity to show his town that their superstition is nothing but that.
  • As a note, Bridget does not try to hide the fact that he is a man. There are only handful of people in his universe who simply assume he is a girl based on appearances (most infamously Johnny) and most of them get corrected fairly quickly. Of course that is in-universe. Out-universe is bit of an other matter.
  • Even though he started out as a bounty hunter, he does admit it has had quite a few downs to it. Such as being fed wrong info about supposed bounties, having the bounty just die before he can apprehend them or even befriending the bounty such as Dizzy. He has sought after alternate job possibilities such as an entertainer and has worked as a waiter in Jam's restaurant to attract more customers.
    • During his search for a job, he came across Amane who invited him to join his troupe. While normally he would be more than happy to join, he was bit dubious if Amane wanted him to join it for his skills or because of something else. Ultimately he had to reject his offer, but would be more than happy to work with him in the future.
  • Is not certain if he should be flattered or not about one time when Hasta cosplayed as him. Mainly because the context for it was that he, Cuuko and Nyarko were fighting over who would be with Mahiro when they were trapped in a video game.
  • Tries to avoid Naughty Bear the best he can in the fear that he might try to attack and destroy Roger.
  • Has been teaching Ness new yo-yo techniques to make them more effective in battle for him and has even tried to get him to incorporate his occasional teddy bears into his fighting style.
  • If you are questioning your sexuality due of him, don't worry; Everyone's gay for Bridget.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!

What other mobile games are there? Does Gudako care beside FGO.

Gudako, God of Publisher Mocking (The Nameless Master, Beast VII)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/female_protagonist_riyo.png
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Learning with Manga!FGO logo (and a broken phone)
  • Theme Song: Learning with Manga! FGO Opening
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (borderline Chaotic Evil)
  • Portfolio: Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist, Complains about Fate/Grand Order mechanics, Abusive Master, Psycho Lesbian, Gacha-Addict
  • Domains: Humor, Self-Publisher Bashing
  • Allies: Quagmire
  • Opposed by: The Servants
  • Enemy: Master of Chaldea, Paul Bunyan, Goetia
  • A very unstable girl who was assigned as a Master of Chaldea, but rather than actually saving the world, she decide to spent time gambling away to get Servants that she'll never get and harass those that she did get for her own amusement. Apparently, this is all humanity depends on.
  • Gudako emerges from the depths of the phone containing an app for Fate/Grand Order and now wants to cause havoc. One problem... she doesn't have her Servants with her, and nobody wants to make a contract with her because they find her creepy. At best, Artoria, Jeanne, Altera, and Elizabeth Bathory find her pitiable to hang out with except the part about Gudako making fun of Altria.
  • For some reason, she is incredibly uninterested on Astolfo. Maybe because there was someone like her named Gudao who has a massive hard-on for Astolfo.
  • Gudako is... obsessed with servants. But because of her terrible luck, she never get what she wants from the gacha. It was so terrible that she tried to create her servant made of udon dough and Grail Mud, one that has the power of the creator god without actually being a Divine Spirit to avoid dealing with the summoning issue and loss of power. However, when she found out that "Paul Bunyan" has the power of a 1-star servant, she abandons it until Bunyan was founded and contracted with the Master of Chaldea. The Master does not respect Gudako's obsession for rarity rather than the strength of the servants themself.
  • Many of the Masters in the Pantheon are very skeptical of Gudako's status because of how unprofessional and uncaring of her servants, even by some standards of Masters.
  • Because she often sexually harasses many of her female associates, many of the women are very distant toward her, especially with the servants. Strangely, she seems to be hanging with other sexual harassers, probably because it'll get her closer to other girls.
  • Much of the House of Gaming find her to be an annoyance as they find her outside, ranting about the game's lack of an Noble Phantasm animation skip button or the severely low summon rates in banners.
    • She seems to only be in interested in Fate/Grand Order. Anything other mobile games often go past her, so she neglects the gods of Kantai Collection.
