Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
      • Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
      • Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
      • For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
    • For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
    • Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
    • You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
    • Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
    • Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
      • OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Okay so next up to bat is the rework of the Legendary Golems. This is a very very rough draft, not worthy of thumbs up at the moment. What I want at the moment though is possible additional character interactions for the trio and Regigigas.

Thank you!

  • Opposes: Kratos, Eren Yeager, Wander, Any physically strong deities and martial artists
  • Complicated Realtionship: Lucario
  • The Legendary Golems, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, are a trio of Pokémon whose origins lay in the ancient past. According to legend, it was their master Regigigas, the aptly named King of Giants, who towed the continents into their current positions, before molding the trio out of fragments of the techtonic Earth, Antarctic Ice, and Otherworldly Metal. It was at one time worshipped by humanity, but that love soon turned to fear; fear of what the Pokémon's immense power could do. They sealed Regigigas away within the depths of Snowpoint Temple, then spirited the remaining golems to the faraway Hoenn Region, locking them away within three stone caverns. Once all was taken care of, the people left behind a series of cryptic messages within an underwater Sealed Chamber, in the hope that someone would one day seek the Legendary Golems, and finally tame their incredible power... That's where the fun really begins!
  • The Regi Trio have quite possibly the most complicated opening mechanism in all the Multiverse. There are hints as to how to open the temple at the entrance... but it's written in Braille... on electronic screens. The opening to the temple has 2 locks one of them requires you to dig away from the temple, the second one requires a Relicanth and Wailord at the front and back of your party (respectively).
    • Then, the rooms to the individual Golems have their own individual locks, each with even more obtuse solutions to them. Getting to Regirock involves taking two steps right and two steps back from the Braille hint and then using Strength on the ground.
    • Opening Regice's tomb involves staring the the Braille hint for two minutes and not looking away from it, otherwise the lock will reset.
    • And obtaining Registeel is easily the most ridiculous of the three, as getting to it requires standing in the middle of the entry room and flying outside and then the lock will open.
  • But all those pail in comparison to the fairly mind-boggling manner of getting him to appear in Hoenn recently. What originally required just bringing the trio to Snowpoint Temple transformed into what could be considered a major chore. To put it simply, the trainer must bring Regirock, Regice, and Registeel to the Island Cave (Regice's location) with a nicknamed Regice that is holding a Never-Melt Ice, Snowball, or Casteliacone. It was quite odd to say the least.
    • To be fair though, if one looks at what's required to find Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, it makes sense. The High Gods were quick to point out that the proverbial "apples" don't typically fall far from the tree. That, or the people who locked them away were attempting to make it as difficult as possible to release them.
  • Serving as Herald to the Golems is Brandon, a member of the Hoenn Region's Battle Frontier. An avid explorer, Brandon was brought in by the Gods due to his experience owning and using the main Regi trio as part of his challenge. He was more than happy to work with his favourite legendaries once more and has even made his Battle Pyramid into the Golem's new temple, offering the Brave Symbol to anyone who can conquer it.
  • Many deities are confused about the existence of the Regi Trio as none of them have any sort of organs required for living such as a heart or a brain. They're physically incapable of eating and none of them show any signs of being animated by science or magic. The House of Knowledge came to the conclusion that the Regi's, like real world Golems were only created to serve their master, and with a master like Regigigas, they'll defend it with all their existence.
  • Upon their ascension, the Regi Trio were shown some hostility by Team Charm as they were once captured by the Regi Trio in an alternate continuity. At the same time, the trio don't exactly see eye to eye with Lucario, viewing the Fighting/Steel type as an intruder to their Temple just as they did back in the Tree of Beginnings. All four non-Legendary Pokemon have had to stay clear of the Golems; even if Medicham, Lucario have a distinct type advantage, they're hesitant to take the juggernauts head on.
  • The Regi Trio can sometimes be seen with other deities who can control or are made from the same elements as them.
  • Despite the fact that none of them have been shown capable of displaying emotions, Regirock, Regice and Registeel have shown to have a liking for Geb, Mr Freeze, and Optimus Prime. For Regirock and Geb, the pair are a match made in Heaven due to the both of them being Rock Monsters.
  • With both Relicanth and Wailord residing in the Pantheon, many of the Pantheon's treasure hunters and adventurers have begun their quest to obtain the Regi's, through whatever means necessary. Nathan Drake, Lara Croft and Indiana Jones
  • Facts relating to Regirock:
  • Facts relating to Regice:
    • Regice and Freeze find connection due to their ice powers and their seclusion from others.
  • Facts relating to Registeel:
    • For some unknown reason, Registeel was once seen holding its arm up as though it was saluting Hitler. It has not been seen doing this again, thankfully.
    • Registeel has been described by many deities as sounding like a Transformer, which made it only fitting that it became Optimus Prime's partner Pokémon in the Pantheon. Unfortunately this has made it a target for Megatron and his Decepticon forces. Starscream has tried - and failed - at catching Registeel but it was the earthquakes of Rumble and Frenzy, Soundwave's Heralds, that proved to be super effective; the same as with its fellow Regis.
  • Facts relating to Regigigas:
    • It was a long, drawn-out battle. And then Slow Start wore off. It was over very quickly from there.
    • Often hangs out with the Kecleon Brothers. Many deities believe it could be because of a Commonality Connection, whereas other, savvy deities know another reason.
    • Turns out those who thought otherwise were right. Regigigas managed to find a way to permanently give itself Protean. Many deities were terrified upon finding out, fearing Regigigas would go on a destructive rampage. As it stands, Regigigas hasn't, and likely won't due to its own docile nature. Just don't piss it off now, it will not end well.
    • It's surprisingly jovial with Yuuka Kazami. They even go on picnics together.
    • Despite rarely ever leaving their temple, The Legendary Golems can sometimes be seen relocated to Regigigas' temple, disguised as statues, guarding him and come to life whenever an evil deity draws near.
    • Wander was once seen entering Regigigas' temple in the hopes of killing it. Things were going well for Wander as it managed to climb up the moss on Regigigas' feet and get onto his back but when Wander found that Regigigas didn't have any runes on it for him to stab to do damage, Regigigas took advantage of his size and grabbed Wander (Something none of the other Colossi thought to do) and threw him out of his temple and back into the house of Ambiguity.
      • Since then, Regigigas has been seen getting along rather well with the other Colossi (Especially the docile ones) that Wander killed while they were mortal.
    • Regigigas ended up choosing its partner as Musashi, due to their similar issues.
    • Was rather amused by hearing how Hareta overcame his own Regigigas' Slow Start but using skill swap with his Misdreavus, and has since shown enough respect for him to be a secondary trainer of the sorts for him, even if he does already have his own Regigigas from another dimension. That warning with the reveal of his protean is doubled now, as if you piss one off, the other will surely follow suit...
  • Can also be found in the House of Mentalism.

[up] Wonder about their relationship with Ghetsis... yes, I did see the words especially in Team Rainbow Rocket.

As for relationship with Regigigas, they serve him very loyally and he ol' Gigas basically has veto power over them. Just my view.

Yukako and Weather Report are up

First draft of this trio. What should I pick for their shared theme song?

The Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Cowardly Lion, Triumvirate of Having What They Were Looking For All Along (Tin Woodman: Nicollo "Nic" Chopper)

  • Lesser Gods
  • Symbol: A yellow brick road
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: It Was with You All Along, Reveals Everyone Knows By Now, Four-Temperament Ensemble with Dorothy, Non-Human Sidekick
  • Domains: Travel, Friendship, Flaws, Goals (all three), Scarecrows, Idiocy/Brains (The Scarecrow), Timber, Metal, Emotion/Stoicism (The Tin Man), Lions, Cowardice And Courage (The Cowardly Lion)
  • Allies: Dorothy Gale, Oscar Diggs, Ozma Tippetarius, Caesar, Ron Stoppable, Gardevoir and Gallade, Podrick Payne, Teddie, Neville Longbottom
  • Vitriolic Best Buds with: Garfield (The Cowardly Lion)
  • On speaking terms with: Elphaba Thropp
  • Enemies: The Wicked Witch Of The West, Koba, Baba Yaga
  • When Dorothy Gale found herself in the Land of Oz, she traveled the Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard of Oz so she could get home. Along her trips she met and befriended the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion. They also wanted to see the Wizard to gain a brain, a heart and courage. Yet, during their journey they ultimately proved to have those virtues all along.
  • Applies to all of them
    • Remain dedicated friends to Dorothy Gale, overjoying that they got to see her again in the pantheon. Clasical archetypes of proving friendship, they were interested in Gardevoir and Gallade. They also ended up getting along with Teddie.
    • The Wicked Witch wasn't happy to see Dorothy's friends enter the pantheon, and they have a bucket of water at the ready in case she goes after Dorothy again. They don't care for Koba due to being a psychotic primate that reminds them of her flying monkeys, or Baba Yaga for being a sinister sorceress. Their views of the Wicked Witch's good counterpart, Elphaba Thropp, were much more nuanced.
    • As each of them prove more capable than they let on, they found themselves relating to Ron Stoppable due to his status as a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass. They also can relate to Neville Longbottom, and the determination Podrick Payne has to protect his friends, while also sharing a mutual understanding of their shared sense of camaraderie.
    • Leela once dreamed up a Land of Oz parody, where Fry was the Scarecrow, Bender was the Tin Woodman and Zoidberg was the Cowardly Lion. Given their issues with intelligence and good heart, The Scarecrow got along with Fry. The others could take or leave the comparison
  • Applies to The Scarecrow
    • The Scarecrow is the former ruler of Oz, and serves as a trusted adviser to Princess Ozma. Though he's daft, he's also pretty smart. When it comes to matter of politicking, he has gotten a lot of advice from Tyrion. He also works well with Fighter's capacity for great strength despite, and sometimes because of great ignorance.
    • Dr Zomboss tried to take the Scarecrow's brain upon learning he had it all along, but came up empty since it's more a metaphorical brain than a literal organ. The Scarecrow doesn't care for him. He doesn't care for the evil scarecrows like Fiddlesticks or the get-up of Jonathan Crane either.
  • Applies to Tin Woodman
    • The Tin Woodman, usually just referred to as the Tinman for short, was an ordinary Munchkin woodchipper. Handy with an ax, he found himself getting along with Paul Bunyan. He doesn't like Mr Burns given his reckless devastation of the environment, or Hexxus for the same reason.
    • Wasn't always made of metal. He used to be Nicollo "Nic" Chopper, but was cursed by the Wicked Witch of the East to accidentally chop off body parts with the swings of his ax. While a machine of sorts, he has nothing in common with the goals of the GUAM and avoids their more sinister members. He also doesn't like Dr Trager because of his love of cutting people's fingers and other body parts off.
    • In spite of his claims he didn't have a heart, he proved to be The Heart of the group. He's iconic as characters who emote, yet think they don't. He felt some kinship towards 2B since they ultimately proved not as stoic as they let on, and Fluttershy because they have a love for animals.
  • Applies to the Cowardly Lion
    • The Cowardly Lion came looking for courage, however he keeps doing brave things. He's more of a Lovable Coward in the movie, though. Either way, he's more capable than he lets on. He can relate somewhat to Vir Gotto, due to how he grew a spine. He's less interested in Garfield, but does enjoy relaxing with him and has found lasagna to be rather tasty.
    • Aslan seems fond of the Lion, respecting his hidden courage. Being a lion, he used the reputation of a ferocious lion to bluff people into not fighting him. Simba and Mufasa regard him as a perfectly affable lion. The Cowardly Lion wasn't happy to learn of the evil things that Scar had done.
    • Gets along with Kirin Toudou and James Henry Trotter, as they have learned to overcome fear. Likes Piglet as well. By contrast, he considers Lord Djibril's cowardice and many other monstrous actions to be despicable.

Here's the final verdict for the Phantom Thieves profile fusion rework, which either I will do, or help with if someone else wants to do it instead of me for reasons.

All right, then. I'll get to it. As I do, can someone provide me a group pic of the Phantoms... in their civilian clothing? I'm using the SSBU Spirits pic for their thief attire.

As for Kasumi, if she leaves in the end with no intention of returning, she won't be added as a fellow goddess, but as a herald.

  • Enemies: Fascist/corrupt governments and supporters thereof, Captain Beatty, Big Brother (especially for Volfred and the Reader, for stifling literature), Eldirtch Abominations and worshippers thereof

  • The problem with Sports Games is that most of them are of real sports and are more about the game than its players, so it was a daunting task to find proper candidates for the trope. And then scouts of the Court found the interesting tale of the rise of the Sahrian Union. While trying to discern through conflicting stories whether or not they overthrew its previous government, the Commonwealth, through peace or through bloodshed, and members of importance in the revolution. Further research revealed the existence of the Downside, the Rites, the Eight Scribes that created it, and the Trumvirates that partook in it.
  • It was there that tales of the Nightwings were discovered, the Rites they participated in, and the revolution they supported, and it was there that the Court found their candidate. Or rather, candidates. As it was, due to the Multiple Endings nature of the tale, it was difficult finding the ideal method of ascending them to the Pantheon. But a solution was eventually found.
  • After enacting their solution, all of the Nightwings have been brought to the Pantheon, all with memories of life after the last Liberation Rite both in the Downside and in the Commonwealth/Sahrian Union. The conflicting memories were a bit confusing to possess and among other things, The Stowaway, Hedwyn, and the Reader are still human even after remembering remaining in the Downside after the Rites have ended, and Jodariel is still a demon even when she remembers life after returning to the Commonwealth, and won't be changing back anytime soon. Still, at the very least, they are all reunited. And it was surprising that Tariq has rejoined them given his departure with Celeste after the Rites have ended, but as he's technically part of the Nightwings, it made sense.
  • Applies to the team or some of them:
    • The Nightwings' temple takes the form of the Moonlight Alcove, the sanctuary the team rest in while waiting for the stars to herald the next series of Rites. They also have their blackwagon they use to travel across the Downside. It even has flight capabilities, and when in flight, the Reader occasionally directs their craft to other flying vessels/deities that happen to be in the area either to grief or greet them, depending on their mood, but also knows to flee if one decides at attack the blackwagon.
    • Thanks to the endeavors of Barker Ashpaws of the Dissidents, they are aware of the Rites being considered a game not just in the Downside after the Rites ended, but also in the world(s) outside their own. In fact, the House of Gaming and Technology are collaborating on creating a simulation of the Rites, and folks have compared it as a fantastical version of basketball.
      • Of course, given just how many different kinds of lifeforms (especially non-organics such as energy beings and robots) are in the Pantheon, a lot of work in the simulation had to be done to account for all of them and to give proper pros and cons of each (though the giant one such as Cybertronians and great dragons can't participate). And that's not counting the humanoids who can cast abilities without weapons, which aren't permitted in the Rites. Some are inconsequential (like Yang Xiao Long's damage-based Semblance, which is pointless since one hit from an opponent's aura is instant banishment), others might give an edge, while yet others might even break the game (like Ruby Rose's Speed-based Semblance) unless properly nerfed.
    • Eventually, the Sim-Rites Program was completed. The Nightwings are already in by default, but anyone else who wishes to partake in the experience has to register first as a Triumviratecaveat . Unlike the cases where Sir Gilman and Pamitha left their own groups to join the Nightwings, changing Triumvirates requires a lengthy procedure, so it's best to form large teams if they're more likely to play together (e.g. the Investigation Team and the Shadow Operatives, or the Mane Six and the Cutie Mark Crusaders). Mons of deities, if they don't have a limited summon time (like an SMT!Demon or a Digimon, but not a Persona or Eidolon), participate as separate team members, but only if their owner/summoner/partner is taking part as wellexample .
      • Within the sim, participants are donned in raiments reminiscent of those the Nightwings posses, but in color themes decided by the Triumvirate they represent. New masks and raiments were also designed to account for those who aren't human (Nomad like Hedwyn or Savage like the Stowaway), Demon, Cur, Wyrm, Imp, Harp, Sap, or Bog-Crone. And the "Book of Rites" each player has to hold will float close by for those who lack the appendages to carry them.
      • Trinkets/mementos held by/in the possession of a player and/or Triumvirate get added in their inventory as equipment that can mildly enhance one's abilities, aid in the Pyre's survivability, give advantages at the cost of getting a handicap, or hamper the enemies' capabilities, though some of them are limited to certain people. For some, this means having a small set. For others (like Neku and friends with all their Pins), this gives them a large repertoire to choose from.
      • The simulation ensures that during any Rite, only one player per Triumvirate moves at a time by locking the others in place when one has already decided to move. Coordination and trust is vital, and can be made easier with an assigned teammate not actively participating serving as a Reader (coordinator), who can mind-read their teammates and telepathically communicate with them (those who already have such abilities can use them in the sim even as a player).
      • After each Rite, victory or defeat, all participants (save the maxed-out Nightwings) earn Enlightenment, which eventually unlock Masteries (maximum of 4, with a chain of wins required to change that up) uniqueto each player. All other members of both teams get Inspiration, which become Enlightenment should they participate in a Rite. They also earn points that can he spent on (temporary possession ofnote ) various trinkets the Nightwings have used throughout their Rites. These points can also be used to borrow other Triumvirates' trinkets, as long as both sides can reach an agreement.
      • Another feature from the Rites mimicked into the Sim-Rites is the Titan Stars Challenges that can be called upon for the sake of, well, a challenge, as well as bonus points for trinket loaning. However, to avoid any implications of unwanted pity or overconfidence, the Nightwings aren't allowed to use this feature, but all other Triumvirates can.
      • There is no equivalent for Ascension Rites, since the Sim-Rites are meant for fun.
    • One additional benefit the Nightwings got along with their ascension is to grant them the ability to project and cast Aura like if they were in the Rites (the Stowaway once defended the camp from Howlers this way, and Sir Gilman burst obstacles (and his former fellow Pyrehearts when they pursued him) hindering the Nightwings). These attacks are only as strong as a shove or physical charge from them, and in Ti'zo's case, since his Implosion is a Suicide Attack in the Rites, it merely renders him winded for a bit here.
    • The Reader's telepathic powers are common knowledge now, though they don't often use it. What isn't often known, though, is that they can also manipulate the minds of those they read. Few even know that Volfred also has this power, and he has less scruples when it comes to utilizing it against enemies to Mind Probe them.
    • Due to having been exiled for literacy and promoting literature against the government specifically respectively, the Reader and Volfred have it against Big Brother for stifling people's literacy.
      • With literacy not being illegal, it's been considered that the rest of the Nightwings be provided language writing lessons.
      • Other folks they oppose include corrupt cops and politicians (like Lendel of the Accusers and Manley of the Chastity), summoners of Eldritch Abominations (like Udmildhe of the Withdrawn), most Eldritch Abominations (like the Downside Titans), and oppressive governments (like the Commonwealth).
    • Due to its extreme prejudice against traitors to their nations, the Nightwings are advised to stay away from SCP-516 when possible, particularly Hedwyn (deserted his post in a war), Joadriel (unauthorized release of POWs), and Pamitha (betraying her sister (and her nation), even if in an attempt to save her from death).
  • Exclusive to The Reader:
    • Rumored to be an aspect of (Insert Name Here), the Reader's past is inconsistent (like if they were an old farmhand or a war orphan), if it's even known. What is known is that their crippled condition (as a result of being cast down or from old age) prevented them from participating in the Rites. With the upcoming simulation, they can have a chance of experiencing the Rites for themselves.
    • When not with their fellow Nightwings, or sometimes with one/some of them, the Reader can be found in the House of Knowledge... reading. Given they had probably lost their own library to the Commonwealth, it's relieving to be able to choose what literature to learn from. Of course, they know there are some works to avoid.
    • Never takes off their cloak, making much of their identity a mystery. Those who saw beneath it have deigned to keep it a secret, and the nature of the Reader's character makes it inconsistent.
    • Occasionally, when given some alone time, the Reader consults with a green crystal, which is found to be inhabited by a wraith named Sandra, of the Beyonders Triumvirate.
      • However, after an incident which ended up with the Beyonder Crystal nearly shattered, the Reader went around to find a way to protect it without interfering its ability to communicate with them. They eventually found one, and it came with a bonus of being able to summon Sandra from the crystal at times, though she's still bound to it like a genie in a lamp. Regardless, the Reader has become a lot more careful.
      • No, she won't be conducting Scribe Trials for anybody else; those days are over, the Sim-Rites already got that covered, and the Reader isn't that trusting of the Crystal to anybody other than themself.
  • Exclusive to Hedwyn:
    • Sometimes practices his cooking skills at the House of Food after rumors of how bad he was at it spread. He insists that was because of the Downside's food being pretty unpalatable overall. As such, he ends up not having much good ingredients, and he had been trying his best.
    • Has drawn the scorn of those who despise soldiers who go AWOL, a crime that Hedwyn was exiled for, and it got his comrades killed. Worse is that it was for something such as love, and with someone from the other side, no less.
  • Exclusive to Jodariel:
    • Due to having participated in wars against the Harps on behalf of the Commonwealth, she has trouble with trusting harpies of any sort. It took a long while (and the Reader's guidance) before she can even consider trusting and working together with Pamitha (assuming neither get Liberated before then).
    • Prior to and during the war, she's adopted and cared for orphans, among them Hedwyn when he was young. As such, she's gotten acquainted with and gets along with not only some of the children who can get past her imposing appearance, but also other orphanage protectors like Julis-Alexia and Kazuma Kiryu.
      • While it's what got her exiled, she draws the line against those who would execute children, even if they're from the enemy side.
    • As someone who would found a quasi-police force in the new Sahrian Union if she gets Liberated, she has cordial relations with law enforcement deities (as long as they don't exploit their authority).
  • Exclusive to Rukey:
    • It's not much, but there's been one little thing noted about Rukey; his stylish mustache, or the occasional lack of it, which depended on the Reader's critique of it.
    • Having once been a smuggler of goods, he gets along nicely with Han Solo; on top of their (initial) careers, both have also taken part in a rebellion against a corrupt government (even in the off-chance that Rukey never gets Liberated, he's still helped the Reader who would eventually lead the Nightwings and help Liberate his teammates, and Rukey would still be among the players to stand by their side).
    • At present, when not with his fellow Nightwings, he works as a merchant, mainly of trinkets (which can be used in the Sim-Rites, but at a premium) and other merchandise inspired by Falcon Ron's. That said, given that competition in the House of Commerce is much fiercer, he isn't as dedicated to it as he normally should.
  • Exclusive to the Stowaway:
    • Will answer to any of the following names (which are all pronounced as if rhyming with "gray"): Mae, Kae, Dae, Xae, Tae, Shae, Rhae, Lae, Chae, Nae, Zhae. Due to much potential for confusion or derogatory puns, the following have been removed (i. e. she's been instructed not to treat these as addressing her by name): Fae (there's a Manakete who goes by that name already), Gae (sounds like "gay"), and Bae (very memetic).
      • That said, given certain things like her leitmotif, and what she's addressed by the game if the player enters Versus Mode without loading a Campaign first (or at least one where the Nightwings find her at that point in the story), the majority default to Mae, and it's used in documentation, though the other names are still used. Isis hasn't deigned to confirm if this is indeed her true name or not.
    • Occasionally, she can be found preaching (not to an overbearing extent, of course, after the first few times) what she knows about the Eight Scribes' teachings, if she isn't marveling at all the things the Pantheon has to offer.
    • Used to eat the least she can, because she disliked to hurt animals to eat meat. Angès understands that feeling, having had a similar thought process and vegan diet before Ringabel of all people snapped her out of that when she and her party had been stranded out at sea and there was only fish to eat.
  • Exclusive to Ti'zo:
    • Despite his diminutive size and cute appearance, Ti'zo is actually not only very intelligent, but long-lived as well. The only thing keeping him from being as revered as Yoda is the fact that he can't speak the same language as Commonwealth exiles (and by extension the rest of the Pantheon). For some reason, he didn't get the same gift of tongues most every deity in the Pantheon gets. Only telepaths can communicate with him easily.
    • Occasionally, he can be found swimming in lakes or shorelines to catch fish to eat.
  • Exclusive to Sir Gilman:
    • When he isn't practicing speedy movements with Rukey, Sir Gilman can often be found perched at above-average elevations (perhaps even on other living beings if they're all right with it) to tame his fear of heights.
    • Having been under the service of a cowardly commander (in a race full of glory seekers), he has zero tolerance for such and think they're undeserving of their rank. Lord Djibril is on the top of that list.
      • Those who show incompetence or are otherwise unfit for command or have no business in it are those he won't tolerate, either, such as Zapp Brannigan.
    • While regaling his (and the Nightwings') tale amongst fellow soldiers, or at least those who would listen, when he reached the part where he underwent voluntary exile, one of them recalled an event experienced by Riven; she had underwent self-exile too, when her country used chemical Warfare to win a battle that destroyed allies and enemies alike. As a proud warrior, she found such tactics dishonorable.
  • Exclusive to Pamitha:
    • When it came to caring for a sibling who's... admittedly not the best of people, Pamitha thought she was alone in this regard. As it was, that's not the case in the Pantheon. As such, she can understand the situation of Jaime Lannister (though she's weirded out by the incest he has with Cersei) and occasionally share drinks with him.
      • She also gets along with Mokuba Kaiba (even if Seto isn't exactly evil anymore) and Zuko (even though he didn't start his pity until after Azula went mad for a while, and even hated her back then).
    • Coming from a race filled to the heart with vengeance, while not harboring much of them herself, Pamitha pities those who can't bring themselves to let go of their grudges over any sort of logic. Especially if they have enough honor not to accept any easier ways to achieve it.
    • Due to her wings having been clipped by the Commonwealth before being cast down to the Downside, you won't see her flying high in the sky, though she can remain midair for a moderate amount of time before needing to land.
  • Exclusive to Volfred:
  • Exclusive to Bertrude:
    • Bertrude's trade revolves around potions, talismans and other powerful magic items, so she can sometimes be found at the House of Magic.
    • Some folks think her fireproof ink shouldn't have worked since that logically should've ended with burnt books and a puddle of ink on the floor where they lay. Unless the ink was specially hexed.
    • Something a little more significant than Rukey's mustache (or lack thereof), sometimes Bertrude is plagued by nightmares and sometimes she isn't. As it turns out, it's a side effect of being from multiple timelines, as there are three outcomes to when she asked the player to invoke Yslach while playing against Udmildhe of the Withdrawn; either victory is achieved, loss is suffered, or the Reader chose not to risk it.
  • Exclusive to Tariq:
    • Without the Rites to constrain him to his duty, when he isn't spending time together with Celeste, Tariq roams the Pantheon, relaying tales of the Nightwings and the Rites through his songs.
    • During his wanderings, he ran into the Bard, who had heard of his songs, was entranced by what Tariq was singing, and wanted to know more. He would also guide the Minstrel to Edward's temple to share his tale

[up][up] Like I said, Melkor would welcome the extra manpower. It's long overdue that the Toku Base and the Demonic Legion receive a much-needed makeover. Not a deletion.

@Jigsaw: Kano, Tanya and Shang Tsung are several of his targets. Originally, Johnny Cage was to share this fate, but after seeing Johnny undergo his Character Development regarding Cassie, Jigsaw relents.

I decided to add an another interaction, which is from Rama by myself. If you're wondering, as a Servant, Rama's Noble Phantasm, Brahmastra, gives bigger damage to demons, due to Vishnu wanting to reincarnate as Rama to destroy Ravana the Demon King, which is Rama's destiny. His Noble Phantasm's type is even described as Anti-Demon.

Rama and Sita, Divine Couple of Engagement Challenges (Rama: Seventh Avatar of Vishnu, Ramachandra, Dasarathi, Raghava, Ramavijaya, Phreah Ream, Phra Ram, Megat Seri Rama, Raja Bantugan, Ramudu, Ramar, Saber; Sita: Jānaki, Maithili, Ramā, Vaidehi, Archer)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/images_727.jpeg
Left: Rama; Right: Sita
Rama in the Battlegroud of Gods
Rama as a Saber Servant
Sita as an Archer Servant
  • [tup]s: 2 (fasoman, Crownless Mimic)
  • Potential House: Love: Other (House of Love)
  • Rank: Greater God (Rama); Intermediate Goddess (Sita)
  • Symbol: Shiva Dhanush or Pitaka, the bow of Shiva that Rama lifted and broke to win Sita's heart; alternatively, Rama's weapon, Brahmastra (Rama)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good whose some of his actions are True Neutral (Rama); literal Lawful Good (Sita)
  • Portfolio: Happily Married (inverted later on thanks to the new seventh section of the epic), Rama is the Seventh Avatar of Vishnu and Sita is the Avatar of Lakshmi, Forced into exile, Sita asking her biological mother Bhumi to swallow her up after her second exile and Rama commits suicide after that, Fated to be seperated thanks to Sita's curse at the start of her second exile
  • Domains: Couples, Loyalty, Exiles, Tragedy, Curses, Avatars
  • Herald: Lakshmana, Hanuman, Sugriva
  • Allies: The Master of Chaldea, Karna (whom Rama also developed a Friendly Rivalry with), Ganesha, Romeo and Juliet, Mario, Peach, Link Zelda
  • On good terms with: Princess Cadence (Sita has a better relationship with her)
  • Friendly Rivalry: Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Katniss Everdeen (Rama)
  • Rivals: Hanzo Shimada (Rama)
  • Enemies: Kumbhakarna, Bowser, Ganondorf
    • Rama: the evil-aligned deities of Demons
  • Additional Relationships: any types of demons (those who aren't enemies with him) (Rama); Gaea (depending on the incarnation, she is either a friend or an enemy) (Sita)
  • Respects/Respected by: The House of Love, Odysseus, Queen Penelope; Apu Nahasapeemapetilon (Rama)
  • The king of the Videha kingdom, Janaka, declares a contest on who could lift the bow of Shiva, could win Sita as his wife. Along with his brother, Lakshmana who were taken by Sage Vishwamitra to the kingdom, Rama desired to lift the bow, who was able to do it, and by doing so, broke it by just lifting the string. The prince is then declared the winner of the contest with Sita as his new wife while also winning her heart. Married for 12 years, Dasaratha, Rama's father, expresses his desire to make Rama the new heir of the throne. However, one of the former's wives, Kaikeyi, gave him two boons and in return, convinces him to send Rama into 14 years of exile. Rama accepts the request with no hesitation, and is thus, followed by Sita and Lakshmana because of their loyalty to him. During the 14th year of their exile, Shurpanakha seduces the brothers with no chances of winning and tries to kill Sita. Lakshmana was able to stop her action by cutting off her nose and ears. Angered by the news along with his brother, Khaga is killed by Rama and Lakshmana, Ravana resolves to kill them and abducting Sita. Sita was then captured by the demon while Lakshmana, who was supposed to be her guard, rushes to Rama's aid who needs his help. With the alliances of Hanuman and Sugriva, the brothers declared war on Ravana, with Rama finally ending the war with Ravana's death. He then rushed to Sita's aid and releases her, but not before he asked her to take the Agni Pariksha to prove her purity and loyalty. Eventually, the couple returned to the kingdom and lived happily for many years. This is all backfired thanks to the citizens questioning Sita's loyalty and mental state thanks to her capture. Not wanting to anger the man, Rama asks Sita to go on an exile on her own, which she has accepted. It happened because of a curse that she had since childhood, in which she met two birds and only allow the female bird's male companiom to fly away while the female one is pregnant because Sita is impressed by the story the latter told. As a result, the female bird cursed Sita in which she will forever be seperated from her husband while she will be pregnant. She then gave birth to twins during her exile and is fed up with her life, but not before letting her sons to see their father, who are accepted by him. Seeing this happen while Rama begs for a second chance, Sita asks her biological mother, Bhumi, to seek refuge from her, which the latter accepts by opening the Earth into half and swallowing her. Devastated by her death, Rama later on commits suicide by drowning himself.
  • The Court of Gods pity how much Rama has been longing to be reunited with Sita, especially since he wants to be summoned as a Saber-class Servant believing that he has better chances of reuniting with her and in the E Pluribus Unum Singularity, Sita sacrificed her own life to save Rama. They also decided to remove their curse while they are in the Pantheon so that they could have a happy life together. When they ascended, Rama and Sita embraced together while crying, with Rama apologizing for all the mistakes that he did in his later life. Sita stated that she forgives him, seeing and understanding his regret, and what matters to her is that they are now reunited at last and be with each other forever now that their curse is removed if they ever stay here.
  • Shortly after their ascencion, they are greeted by the Master of Chaldea, with Karna as their companion. Rama is eager to see the Master of Chaldea once again, willing to fight by his side once again in his Saber-class form. While Sita hasn't been summoned by the Master yet, they got along pretty quickly and thanked him for being with Rama's side while he is a Servant in Chaldea. Even though he is not Vishnu, just an avatar of him, Karna thanked Rama for turning him into Super Karna with Shiva's help in the Indian Lostbelt so that they could defeat the Lostbelt King version of Arjuna. Rama stated that he did what he could do to help even if he didn't exactly did that, while also stating that he couldn't wait for a sparring session with him, which he gladly accepts. While they haven't been officially introduced to each other, Sita and Karna got along due to their Undying Loyalty (though the former really wants the latter to stop extending his loyalty to bad people) and since Rama is friends with Karna, she also considered him a friend.
  • Ganesha is pleased to see the couple reuniting despite the fact he never met them. He wishes that they'll have a safe journey now that they are in the Pantheon which they are thankful. They oppose Kumbhakarna because he always eats people whenever he wakes up every six months, killed many monkeys who are the same species as Rama's best friend, Hanuman and the fact he is Ravana's young brother makes it worse.
  • Although the House of Love hates what Rama did, they pity him for the regret he eventually develop and are in tears when they finally reunited. A lot of them offer their blessings to them, especially Sita, wishing that they could live a better life in Pantheon. The couple thanked them for their blessings and also blessed them that they could live a good life with their loved ones.
    • The couple find themselves having a connection with Romeo and Juliet because they are both destined to be seperated back when they are still alive and that the death of their significant other caused both Rama and Juliet to commit suicide. Romeo and Juliet feel much more bad for them considering that they have a curse that even applies to them to this day, which they are happy that got removed if they ever stay in the Pantheon. The two couples immediately hit it off and occassionally go on double dates together.
  • While Princess Cadence doesn't like Rama's action that causes Sita to ask a refuge from Bhumi, she clearly sees the regret that formed around his heart and congratulated him and Sita for their reunion. She gets along with Sita better, praising her for her Undying Loyalty to Rama and how she is considered a paragon for the spousal and feminine virtues for all women in her mythology/religion. She also is impressed by the test she has to perform which proves her loyalty to Rama and is clearly flabbergasted why he believed his own people when his wife truly proves her loyalty to him. Nontheless, she is happy for the life that they eventually have in the Pantheon and wished that they could lived a better life here.
  • The couple find their situation similar to Mario and Peach in that the latter gets kidnapped by Bowser because he is infautuated with her and Mario has to rescue her, which is eerily similar to how Ravana abducted Sita and is clearly devoted to her, even though she refuses his romantic advances and that Rama needs to defeat him to save his wife. Sita gets along with Peach as they pretty much have similar virtues and doesn't mind hanging out with the princess, finding her a pleasant companion to hang out with, while Rama considers Mario to be a worthy hero and became interested in his multiple adventures. Unsuprisingly, they hate Bowser because of it, willing to team up togrther to fight up if he ever becomes a bigger threat in the near future.
    • They also found some kinship with Link and Zelda for the exact same reasons, although for Ganon's case, he deems Zelda as a much more dangerous threat that needs to be annihilated. Rama is impressed that Link is able to use multiple weapons just like him and occassionally asks for an archery contest with him. Sita admires Zelda's wisedom as a guide and a ruler of her kingdom and that she could fight on her own multiple times. They developed a better contection with them as they all could reincarnate, much more so with Zelda, due to the fact that she is the reincarnation of Goddess Hylia and Rama Sita themselves are reincarnations of gods. They also don't like Ganondorf thanks to their friendship with them and don't like his ambitious goals to achieve the Triforce.
  • The couple respects Queen Penelope's willingness to wait for her husband's return, despite the fact it's been 20 years since he went to the Trojan War. Despite the hardships they faced together, they are able to reunite and lived happily ever after, which made them slightly jealous as Sita's second exile is the cause of the downfall of their marriage. Nontheless, they are glad that the Greek couple are able to be with each other once more in the Pantheon.
  • Exclusive to Rama:
    • When Rama first met Sun Wukong, he couldn't help but think that he is a reincarnation of his best friend, Hanuman, as they found them to be too similar in appearance. Sun Wukong debunked that theory, but he could see why Rama would think that way and offers him companionship since he clearly misses him. Rama accepted that request, not minding it since he is clearly nice enough to become friends with and they have become friends ever since, with Rama trying his best not to anger him in a bad mood. Sometimes, the prince asked the monkey king if he has any bananas, which became the former's favorite food thanks to Hanuman,
    • Rama is most well known as an archer. He particularly loves to do archery battles and contests, so it's no suprise he will develop a rivalry with the other archers in the Pantheon. Because he's such a Nice Guy, he developed a Friendly Rivalry with most of them. He respects the archery skills of Hawkeye, Green Arrow, and Katniss, impressed with their improbable aim and also their heroic deeds, which reminds him of how much he prefers the days of his exile with Sita and Lakshmana. He developed a straight-up rivalry with Hanzo Shimada because his angsty behavior just wouldn't allow him to be friendly with him, but Rama is okay with that, if that's what he wants.
    • As a Servant, his Noble Phantasm, Brahmastra, deals bigger damage against facing demons, which also includes onis, as it was granted to him ever since he was born to defeat the Demon King, Ravana, due to Vishnu's decision to reincarnate as Rama just to kill him. Hearing about this, a lot of demons and onis stay away from him because of it, some of whom even becoming personal enemies with him because of it, particularly the evil-aligned deities of the house of Demons, after hearing about his destiny, thinking that he'll do the same to them.
    • Apu is overjoyed to learn that an avatar of Vishnu has ascended seeing that he is a devotee of rhe supreme god. While Rama is happy to hear that, he doesn't like the fact that he had an affair with two women behind his wife's back, as he believes in faithfulness in a marriage. But he's glad to hear that Apu and his wife were able to stay stable to their marriage despite the hardships.
  • Exclusive to Sita:
    • Sita is often considered as the paragon of spousal and feminine virtues of women in Hindu mythology. It's why she easily got along with Hinata Hyuuga. They are both kind, feminine women who have pure hearts and although they fell in love with their husband in different circumstances, they are extremely devoted to them whom they consider as humble and heroic. Sita hopes that Hinata will be able to take care and be with her children in the way that she really couldn't as she already got refuge from her mother at that time, which thr latter took as a promise.
    • Due to being the biological daughter of Bhumi, the Hindu goddess of Earth, she is bound to meet Gaea, the Mother Nature in the Greek Pantheon. She doesn't like the original one in that she doesn't truly take her job seriously and is just like most of the Greek Pantheon. She prefers her other incarnations that are really kind people, finding them to be much more pleasant to be with.
    • Due to her fondness of animals and being able to communicate with them, she got along with Fluttershy and Eliza Thornberry. She thinks the former is worthy to represent the Element of Kindness and occassionally visits her animal sanctuary to take care of animals and loves the latter for her intelligence in animals and her determination to protect them as well as her family. While they don't like the fact that Sita only frees the male bird because the female bird is clearly pregnant during Sita's childhood, they knew it's unfair that the female bird has to cursed Sita to be seperated from her husband just because of that.

Cosmos, Goddess of Good and Leader of the Grand United Alliance of Good (Goddess of Harmony, "Goddess of Death")

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cosmo_dissidia.png
  • Overdeity of Good
  • Symbol: Her personal symbol
  • Theme Song: Keeping the Peace, Cosmos, Lux Concordiae
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Big Good, Original Generation, The Harmony to Chaos' Discord, Gold and White Are Divine, Physical God, Team Mom, Let Herself to be Killed To Let Her Warriors Have the Power to Defeat Chaos, Deity of Artificial Human Origin, The Pawn of Shinryu, Realizing The Weight of Her Actions And Seeking to End the Cycle For Good
  • Domain: Balance, Destiny, Good, Law, Hope, Protection
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • The Goddess of Harmony, Cosmos is the opposite force to fight against the God of Discord, Chaos. Summoning warriors across time and space, the two of them have been fighting each other with their selective champions to one day finally defeat one another. When the Pantheon was in its earliest days and the Grand United Alliance of Good was being formed, her ability to unite multiple heroes together was the deciding factor for her to be the leader of such a grand order.
  • However, there is more to Cosmos than just a beautiful deity. She is in fact a Manikin who was designed after, and has the memories of, the wife of Cid the Lufaine, in order to keep Chaos under control. Eventually she, Chaos and Cid escaped their world through the Interdimensional Rift into "World B". There the three of them as well as the warrior Garland made a deal with the dragon deity Shinryu. As part of the pact, Cosmos became a goddess thanks to Shinryu's powers to fight in an endless loop against Chaos, with them sending warriors to be sacrificed to make Shinryu stronger with their memories and powers, as well as make Chaos stronger until he is strong enough to open the Rift again to get everyone back to their homeworld.
    • Ultimately though, the Warriors of Cosmos' started to influence her and the once pawn of the cycle wanted to make everything stop. By giving her warriors fragments of her power as Crystals, she believed that once all of them could unlock the true potential of them, she could let herself to get killed to break the cycle of war and with the power of Crystals, they could defeat Chaos once and for all so that everyone can return back where they originally came from. Needless to say, she was successful.
  • Even though she is the leader of GUAG, she isn't really one to fight her own battles. While she can fight, her powers mainly focus on protecting her warriors than outright fighting herself. That being said, she can give anyone the right advice to give them the morale boost they need, and if she needs to, she can bestow fragments of her powers to other warriors to make them stronger.
  • She is rather acceptive when it comes to who want to join the GUAG. As long as they want to do good, she is more than willing to accept them in. But please, if you want to do some sort of divisive gambit, make sure you talk to her first. She doesn't want the events of the 12th cycle of happening again where Kain and Warrior of Light kept on slaying the other warriors to protect them from the Manikins.
  • Believe it or not, her biggest concern when it comes to one particular deity is not the other faction leaders, but Shinryu. She fears that with her being the head of GUAG would mean that the Forever War nature of the Pantheon could keep on making Shinryu stronger and stronger. Not only that, but she fears that Shinryu could easily depower her the moment he is bored with her.
  • Got really worried due of a new cycle of war suddenly popping up. And with the reveal of two new deities running around, she fears that the worst is yet to come. She only hopes that she can trust Materia and what the cycles won't continue after this.
    • As it turns out, Materia is the reincarnation of Cosmos' will what was left behind after her death, while Spiritus is the reincarnation of Chaos' will. And while the two started fighting without knowing much of anything about their past selves, they ultimately decided to keep on fighting in more of a good spirit in order to maintain balance in World B.
  • In terms of really close friends, they tend to be other high-end gods who are God of Good, at least in their setting.

@TPPR: Hold on. I have reworked Golbez and Kuja, who have since been redeemed and defected from the GUAE. And the same would go for Jecht.

Also, the Grand United Alliance of Machines would be her enemies too. Add all of its council members (except maybe Robo-King) under her specific enemies (Brainiac, Ultron, SKYNET, etc.)

Guys, according to this in Gandalf's profile:

  • True to his title, Gandalf doesn't allow anyone to trespass the Main House.

Should he be in the Pantheon Protectors or Pantheon Caretakers based on this? His current and latest form as Gandalf the White is a Greater God.

(wakes up groggily) Ughhhh, what's going -

"Hello, troper. I expect you are wondering why you are here. You are about to play a game."

The Jigsaw Killer, God of Death Traps (John Kramer, Jigsaw (he does not like being called that))

John Kramer as seen in Jigsaw (2017)

  • Potential House: Life And Death and Slaughter
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The bloodstained head of Billy the Puppet, or a pig mask
  • Theme Song: "Hello, Zepp" or any variation thereof
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (That's not what he thinks, though...)
  • Portfolio: Affably Evil, Anti-Villain, Believing Their Own Lies, The Chessmaster, Cruel to Be Kind, Dark Messiah, Evil Genius, Fair-Play Villain, Humans Are Bastards, Jigsaw Plot, The Kindnapper, Moral Sociopathy, Noble Demon, Sadistic Choice, Serial Killer, To the Pain, Well-Intentioned Extremist
  • Domains: Darkness, Gore, Mentalism, Pigs, Preparation, Traps
  • Rumoured Mentor: Kevin McCallister (whom he also pities)
  • Heralds: His apprentices, Amanda Young and Mark Hoffman
  • Followers: Archibald Grims, Konrad Marburg
  • Allies: Death (Final Destination), Light Yagami, The Marionette, Ginosaji, Deathstroke, Boba Fett
  • Odd Friendship with: Freddy Krueger
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Most slasher villains, including but not limited to Pinhead, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees and Leatherface
  • Enemies: Springtrap, Hannibal Lecter, Yuuki Terumi, Negi Springfield, L, Near, Zhuge Liang, the Punisher
  • Respects: The House of Health and Diseases, especially Retsu Unohana, the Predator
  • Opposes: Deities that kill arbitrarily or For the Evulz, especially Junko Enoshima and Monokuma, Esdeath, Ali al-Saachez, The Major, Ragyo Kiryuin, Carnage and Kamen Rider Ouja, drug dealers like Walter White
  • Opposed by: Most good-aligned police officers and detectives, especially Robocop and Conan Edogawa, and villains like Apocalypse, Johan Liebert and Fused Zamasu, and Mike Schmidt
  • Pities: Most ghosts in the Pantheon who died tragic deaths
  • Potential Targets: Any deity that wastes or is ungrateful for his or her life, currently Kano, Tanya, and Shang Tsung
  • Conflicting Opinion: Batman, Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert
  • John Kramer was once a successful civil engineer with a happy life. However, after his wife suffered a miscarriage at the hands of a drug addict and being diagnosed with a tumour and terminal colon cancer (and an attempt at suicide) he had an epiphany that people were wasting their lives and decided to change that. How? By putting them in traps that required them to hurt themselves one way or another to escape and hopefully learn something from the experience.
    • A disclaimer from the various information gatherers/scribes of the Tropes Pantheon, they have heavily simplified this biography on account of the massive amounts of lore and knowledge needed to comprehend the full story.
  • Once the God of Forcing People into Self-Mutilation, he petitioned for a change in his title as according to his ideology, his modus operandi was intended for his people to choose to hurt themselves in order to escape, not him forcing them to do so. Based on this, the Court decreed that he be given the more general trope of Death Trap to pacify him.
  • Was originally ascended after his death at the hands of Jeff Denlon due to deliberately creating the situations where his victims would have to display the trope he represents. He oversaw the rest of the series unfold under his apprentice, Detective Mark Hoffman in the safety of his temple. From his monitoring room, he reluctantly concluded that he had failed in his objectives as Hoffman had tested his subjects with the clear intent of making them suffer arbitrarily and thus was relieved that Hoffman was left to die by his frequent collaborator, Dr. Lawrence Gordon. He laments that all his hard work and preparation for an untimely death turned out to be for nothing.
    • Has recently regained hope now that Logan Nelson, yet another apprentice of his has chosen to continue his work, and much more in line with his modus operandi of 'redeeming' his victims, though he expressed some disappointment that his first test involved the end result of revenge-killing the corrupt cop that had gotten his wife killed, the exact thing he learnt not to do from him. As Jigsaw's only link to the mortal plane, only time can tell.
    • With this in mind, he decided to give his wayward proteges a second chance and made Amanda and Hoffman his heralds. They now serve as his apprentices again but are planning to desert him at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • Most other gods are currently unsure if Jigsaw still has his brain tumour. No one wants to ask.
    • Jigsaw has since confirmed that his tumour and cancer have been cured post-ascension, but that he is still relatively frail. He is forever grateful to the House of Health and Diseases for doing him a favour, particularly Retsu Unohana herself, the healer attending to him, and has sworn not to test anyone there, claiming the House's continued operation as essential to the wellbeing of the good people in the Pantheon.
    • Given the above, he rarely steps out of his own Sub-House, let alone his temple to pursue other matters, instead choosing to send out tapes relaying messages to his fellow deities when necessary. Amanda Young also remains as John's in-house caretaker and like him, is rarely seen.
    • Detective Hoffman is seen outside far more often, working at the 77th Precinct as an undercover officer in the homicide division, targeting sloppy and corrupt cops for John to test. At the top of his list currently are Clancy Wiggum, Kurtis Stryker and Rosco Purvis Coltrane. He may very well also be the reason why all police raids on John's temple have so far ended in failure.
  • His temple is in the shape of the Nerve Gas House from his second film that Hoffman refurbished as a modern suburban home. It looks perfectly normal until you open the trapdoor in the bedroom, which leads to an underground labyrinth of trap rooms, most notably an industrial bathroom. If anyone were to get harassed by evil deities in his sub-house, John would kindly give them refuge. He's actually quite a nice man when he's not conducting his deadly games.
  • When John does exit his temple, he usually goes to the Villain Pub to talk shop, and he speaks through a mouthpiece in his ventriloquist dummy, Billy. He is so isolationist that most deities who don't know the Saw series in and out believe the puppet to be John's actual body. As such, he has made an ally of many a puppet-based deity, who claim to believe in his philosophy, such as The Marionette, whom he seems to understand. William Afton/Springtrap does not like him for this reason and has nursed ambitions to stuff him into a springlock-based trap of his own the next time they meet. Mike Schmidt similarly dislikes him, but for less personal reasons.
  • Once visited the Dominion of Heavenly Host Elementary School after he received word that the ugly side of humanity was shown there a lot by the maddened students. It proved too bloody for him to handle given that the killings there were gorier than his usual standards, even those of his sadistic apprentice Hoffman.
  • His current plan is preparing games for deities more powerful than him, Greater Gods and Overdeities. His philosophy entails that all the Pantheon's deities have to be tested based on the corrupt lives they lead until they are 'cured' of this affliction. Based on this, he especially hates evil-aligned deities who kill For the Evulz.
    • Monokuma once got his hands on some of the more insane and impractical trap ideas that Jigsaw made for Greater Gods and Overdeities. Monokuma has made them work somehow and has them on standby for more ironic executions. His Mastermind, Junko Enoshima on the other hand has begun stealing some of Jigsaw's more painful trap ideas, hoping to mix them all together into one big Despair-inducing monstrosity for herself. Jigsaw is not happy about this and has made a sworn enemy of her.
  • Current targets include Kano, Tanya and Shang Tsung. Originally, Johnny Cage was to share this fate, but after seeing Johnny undergo his Character Development regarding Cassie, Jigsaw has relented. He has Deathstroke and Boba Fett on his payroll to capture them and harder-to-sedate subjects, given that Hoffman is undercover and Amanda is far too unstable at the moment to be fully trusted.
  • Has not yet replied to comments that he may have been mentored by trap master of Home Alone fame Kevin McCallister, or that he may even be a future version of the boy. He has however stated that the boy was likely only acting like this in fear of the burglars in his house more than anything else, despite visual evidence that he was intentionally causing hurt to them. He truly pities the boy for this and sees him as a potential apprentice, but given his age, hasn't acted on this yet.
  • Has become a rare ally of a certain Death entity after it stalked him for a few weeks in the form of a dark shadow, believing his preparations for tests after his passing counted as cheating death. It was woefully unprepared for John to quickly discover it and agree with it's philosophy, and this version of Death has since become a regular visitor to his temple to discuss future games with him. Further details are uncertain as no one knows how this dynamic works. Since this Death has no corporeal form, how?
  • Similarly, he has come to view Light Yagami, aka Kira, as a protege, having the dream of wiping out all crime by killing those who commit it with the Death Note. However, he has told Light that those he intends to purge ought to be given the opportunity to redeem themselves as all human souls that are corruptible can be cleansed.
    • L and Near see this odd apprenticeship as their route to finally catch Kira, and have directed the Task Force to zero in on Jigsaw as a stepping stone to catching both killers. He merely grins at these words.
  • His philosophy is so radical that he has been compared unfavourably to Apocalypse. He does not approve of the mutant's philosophy regarding how the only strongest will be allowed to survive, while Apocalypse sees his desire to make people appreciate life again through his tests as a half-baked attempt to make the inferior humans he represents worthy again to him.
  • Once was a guest on Siskel & Ebert, in person, where Siskel reviewed the Saw series and criticised it as not worth the ordeal it puts the viewers through, as well as the convoluted plotline, similar to Ebert. John promptly explained that his tests were not intended for showing to an audience, and certainly not for entertainment. He left the show with mixed emotions as to how his tests were actually a slasher movie series showcasing the many ways a human body could be eviscerated.
  • His relationship with his fellow slasher killers is... complicated to say the least. On one hand, he can communicate with them all right, especially with wisecracker Freddy Krueger. But with most of them killing for the mere enjoyment or for their own selfish reasons (and Michael, who has no reason), he cannot and will not support their endeavours. As for paranormal-based killers like ghosts, he mostly takes pity on their lot and wishes he could help but it is beyond his abilities. Pinhead is a special case, as he kills to satisfy his unorthodox need for pleasure.
  • Batman has placed Jigsaw on watch but as of yet has never been able to catch him, and has sorrowfully commented that had his wife never miscarried, he would have been a valuable member of society, helping the poor move forward with their lives. John once told Batman by tape that maybe they were Not So Different, as they both intended to punish criminals and end corruption and were Crazy-Prepared people. The Dark Knight has refuted this, saying that he never crossed the line and killed somebody in pursuit of this goal, while John simply sits back and lets his traps kill his victims messily. For this reason, John has never been a member of the Council of Shadows.
    • Attention from Batman has also put Jigsaw on Robocop's watchlist, as his philosophy is a violation of his third directive: to uphold the law as his methods of rehabilitation involve hurting not-so-innocent people but are in direct defiance of established law. He has acknowledged the failure of the justice system in putting away criminals properly, as in the case of Seth Baxter, but believes it can be improved and that Jigsaw need not work so hard against the law when people like him are trying to uphold it fairly.
    • Then after that, Frank Castle aka the Punisher started giving Jigsaw the business as well, successfully breaking into his temple and knocking out Amanda believing his sworn enemy (the other Jigsaw) had ascended. Even after discovering the mix-up, he continued to beat him to a pulp for his death traps, Well-Intentioned Extremist be damned. Even as the 501st Legion was dragging a sedated Castle away, he was swearing to give the killer a gorier death than he could give to any of his victims.
  • Conan Edogawa would love to be the one responsible for catching this serial killer and give him a Kirk Summation. The fact that he's stuck in the form of a child has put a dampener on things.
  • The most prominent aspect of Jigsaw's presence is that he refuses to join any alliance or participate in a large-scale team project as he is on a personal crusade. Melkor himself once tried to offer him a position in the GUAE Corruption Agents. The fact that he came from an Alliance Of Evil put him off as John believes his actions are Above Good and Evil. As such, he is an enemy of Hannibal Lecter and Yuuki Terumi despite having never met them personally. The GUAL and GUAC have approached him with similar offers, but all have been turned down. Johan Liebert caught wind of him this way and gave him a message expressing dismay at his attempts to make the irredeemable help themselves and told John to just leave them to their fate. Melkor has since targeted John for kidnap to forcibly enroll in the GUAE Re Education Facility.

[up] Honestly, I think he's pretty good. If you really want to add something, maybe have something about Erma Williams once had a tea party using his doll. Otherwise, [tup] once you begin accepting them.

Reposting Poopypants! Anything else I can add to him, or is he good for [tup]s?

By the way, I also noticed that Azula has two different pictures for her profiles in Sadness and Villainous Attitude. Which one should be used?

I want Adol Christian added to Pantheon. He's been in a ton of games 15 in total (we only have 12 in America). He's heroic, smart, stubborn, strong, intelligent and saves the day on multiple occasions. He has probably the most experience out of a lot of JRPG main leads. He's defeated more vilians than most JRPG heroes.
