Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

There's always the Boom Studios incarnation as well. Honestly, they're one of the better examples if not THE best example of the trope. Yes, they got older, but they're the best demonstration of the trope at work.
It does force Jason to relinquish the trope he has currently.
Time to explore the world! It didn't change the fact that the time they were recruited was when they're teenagers. So they're a good fit regardless. Not to mention the MMPR movie used the original team (albeit different characters/incarnations due to AU/reboot)
We made individual Precures relinquish their titles for this. I don't see why it should be different for PR. I mean, if we find a good trope for the whole Jetman, I'm sure Gai Yuki will have to relinquish his old title too.

Ai yai yai yai! But they must be recruited regardless. Trakeena and Mesogog are in the Pantheon, and who knows what will happen if the Psycho Rangers are let loose. They must be brought up. The Divine Teenagers With Attitude!
Actually, I'd go for Gods of Youths Recruited For Crises
Or something. It's a work in progress.

By that logic it would be impossible to raise even the likes of Bruce Lee into the Pantheon, because he's dead. While they are currently adults at this point, their stories are always the one which is often retold, and they were never recruited as an adult, but always teenagers. This is why I believe they are the most correct choice.
And yes, I think that is a better title.

I'm against it. To be fair, Color-Coded Characters should be a better option for the MMPR original line-up team. And BTW, Tommy will not relinquish his individual profile too since he's the most well known Sixth Ranger in the franchise.

This is all Zi-O's fault!I'm feeling there's some sort of myopia here. From what I'm seeing here, alternate variations of canon characters cannot ascend if they're fan-made, but it's okay if it's from a company (even if it's small-ish like Rooster Teeth) or official writers. Is it because there's still a stigma on them ever since the purged Disgraces? IIRC, a few of the "deities" there were fanfic variants of canon characters.
Now that I think of it, who's a better example for Ex-Big Bad? Someone suggested (and I rolled with) Starlight Glimmer, except she debuted in Season 5 of the show. When looking at examples, I wonder if Regina Mills from Once Upon a Time, not only due to having been there since Season 1, the seasons thereafter featured her slow path to redemption.
Then again, that long path is why she's Zuko's High Priestess in the first place. But, I'm not sure.
Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog, Godly Duo of Nemeses Who Enjoy Off-Time Together (Sam: Ralph)

- Potential House: Plain Neutral
-
s:
- Lesser Gods
- Symbol: The punch clock where they start and end work
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral (Sam), True Neutral (Ralph)
- Portfolio: Friends Off The Clock, Together As Neighbors, Stops Fighting Immediately During Breaktime, Species Surname
- Domain(s): Occupation, Wolves, Dogs, Guarding, Stealing
- Allies: Wreck-It Ralph
- Sam: Babe
- Ralph: Wile E. Coyote (his long-lost cousin)
- Rivals:
- Enemies:
- Sam: Wile E. Coyote, Hero Killer Stain
- Ralph:
- Respects: Bowser, Mario
- Pitied by/Pities:
- Opposed by/Opposes: Tazmanian Devil (Sam)
- Conflicting Opinion:
- It's normal for the good guy and the bad guy to be at odds with each other, and sometimes there's a chance of befriending or just this "relationship" ending once it's over. What is odd though is when they spend their time as adversaries and as buddies with equal dedication, nothing tense in either sitch. This is the case for Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog. Sam was nominated at first to take the role of Punch-Clock Hero, but because it seemed strange to not ascend Ralph Wolf with him—as it had been also strange for Pumbaa to ascend without Timon—Sam's coworker joined him. But this also meant Punch-Clock Hero was no longer a title Sam could take. Given how casual they are off-hours, they were ascended under a different trope.
- As such, after their ascension ceremony, Ralph and Sam sent their regards to Bowser (whom the trope is named after) as well as Mario.
- Applies to both:
- In regards to how their life goes, it's still the same as before; when "at work", Ralph tries to abduct a sheep in the pasture (which is now just outside their temple), while Sam has to stop him (which he does rather easily). The difference is that they have less work days than before, giving them more time off work for hanging with people other than each other. And while they've never really had to do it before, any who interfere with their operation (like abduct a sheep, attack Sam, or mess with the pasture) during their work hours will be on the receiving end of both of their retributions.
- There were plans to have their work continue while under the Grand United Alliances, but Melkor wasn't having any of the strict villainy-on-the-clock nonsense (he's had enough of that with Wreck-It Ralph, who has since cut ties with the GUAE).
- Speaking of that Ralph, the three sometimes have drinks together and is glad that his wolf namesake didn't have to go through the crap he had to deal with in his time in the GUAE.
- Exclusive to Sam:
- Is impressed that a young pig such as Babe can do sheepdog duties, even if it's just herding them to the fenced areas.
- Out of principle, Stain despises Sam for his strict on-the-clock dedication to his (hero) job. Sam on the other hand never considered himself a hero: protecting the sheep is all he's doing.
- Exclusive to Ralph:
- Met up with his long-lost cousin Wile E. Coyote, who doesn't get Ralph's willingness to abandon his chase just because the clock says so. He offered once to pull a switcheroo with Ralph, but the wolf doubted Sam wouldn't notice the difference; they've been co-workers for a long time, so Sam would surely be able to tell.
What can I add to this guy in terms of interactions with other people in specifics? I'd like some feedback here.
Anataeus Vaya, Patron Saint of Programming Games

- Alignment: True Neutral
- Portfolio: Insufferable Genius, From A Steampunk World, Alchemy as Mundane Utility, Alchemy Not Being Magic
- Domain(s): Alchemy, Programming
- Progneitor: The Incredible Machine
- Herald: Concordia Lem
- High Priests: the SpaceChem reaction enigneer, the Infinifactory engineer
- Followers: Opus Magnum players, Master Factory Computers
- Allies:
- Rivals:
- Enemies:
- Finding a representative for Programming Game was a hard task, given that either only the "programming" and machine where the work is done matters, or the player character is lacking in details. And then came Anataeus, protagonist of Opus Magnum, and who has actual characteristics. Anataeus is rather miffed that that was why he was invited to the Pantheon, but he's certainly not complaining.
- Nobody knows for sure what had happened to him and Concordia after fleeing once the latter's vengeance on House Colvan was fulfilled, but it's known that the offer for ascension was given after that, which is why Anataeus accepted the position. His companion Concordia was then chosen as his herald and to sort of serve as his moral compass and pull him away from his work if need be.
- Brought with him upon his ascension are his transmutation engine* (and all its parts and how to make them), special dispensaries for all the basic alchemical atoms (fire, water, air, earth, lead, quicksilver), and all the glyphs and tools he needs for making the various devices he's created over the course of his story, which in turn are all brought* as well.
- Among those machines are those that create simple things like refined/purified gold (though he finds it trivial), face powder, waterproof sealants (for seafaring ship hulls), hangover cures potable water, fuel (for airships), (precision) machine oil, hair gel (at a noble's insistence; fragrances can be added by someone else), rocket propellants, explosive phials, armor filaments, courage potions actually, alcohol, cloth stain removers, sword alloys, invisible ink, (alchemical) jewels, voltaic coils, unstable compounds (for explosives), poison lipstick, etc. And then there are other wonders such as…
- A health tonic for regulating irregular heartbeats.
- A "stamina potion" for "a little boost at the necessary time". Apparently, it has something to do with reproduction and is for men's consumption.
- Mist of incapacitation (a.k.a. knockout gas).
- A water purifier, though the result is slightly sour and somewhat bitter.
- A solvent for removing (document) seals, though it certainly has more potential uses than that.
- Climbing rope fibers that are strong and resilient, yet light and easy to carry.
- A warming tonic for keeping the body warm.
- A "life-sensing potion", which can be used by stealthy folks for sensing heartbeats of patrollers in the form of pulses. It's advised to stay away from crowded areas while using it, though, but rest assured the drinker won't collapse into a quivering heap of nerves when that happens.
- Very dark thread for easier shadow-sneaking. The House of Costumes (and some sectors in the House of Crime) make several orders for this product.
- Golden thread. The House of Costumes make several orders for this, too.
- Mist of hallucination, which probably works as advertised. It seems best appropriated for small spaces.
- A "timing crystal". Only Anataeus knows how this should operate.
- The "universal solvent", which he wistfully bemoaned would never be known in his world due to survival and their revenge against House Colvan hinging on no evidence of his work remaining taking precedence over his desire for recognition. Given what the Pantheon is, now it is known.
- However, because of its potential to change the course of the war, and it's implied that Anataeus dissolved his original transmutation engine with that solvent, Anataeus knows he has to eventually pick a side lest he be kidnapped by one of the sides and be forced to make the solvent for them, or be otherwise removed for a long time (while death is not an issue, there are fates far worse). As such, he's decided that joining the GUAG is his best choice, and Concordia concurs.
- Due to his alchemy being a delicate process, he's not willing to let just anybody use his transmutation engine without his supervision. That said, there is a simulation program—which Anataeus is still grasping at the subject of—available for "public" use and for his followers (which he's still getting used to having), which emulates all the features in Anataeus' transmutation engine. One just has to make sure that their device (with its parts and the instructions they input) can perform at least six cycles without screwing up before submitting their "blueprint" to Anataeus. After that, he may decide to have the device replicated for use, but without being customizable like his engine.
- To his surprise, he ends up getting several thousands of submissions, and—barring inefficient models that just focus on getting the job done—he deduced that they're all classified into at least three different types; those that focus on production speed, those that are concerned with minimizing space, and those that are economical with machine parts. Thankfully, his followers volunteered to filter through them, and even improve on them.
- Given that he didn't think one alchemist could change the world alone, and that he doubts one could get more than one alchemist to even agree on anything, Concordia had to convince Anataeus to teach them how to use the engine for real for purposes other than constructing devices after several replicas have been commissioned. Even though they don't actually understand the fundamentals of alchemy the way he does, they do know how to operate it. Besides, if things should go wrong, the Pantheon has the means to get him spares.
- Aside from turning lead into gold, no work on any product is beneath him. Of course, gold isn't the only precious resource in the Pantheon, though he risks messing up the economy if he overdoes it.
- Anataeus' interests lie solely on practicing his brand of alchemy, though Concordia's been getting him to go out more and learn all the other parts of life. And among the things he's learned doing so are the other forms of alchemy, namely that in the world of Fullmetal Alchemist. Right now, he's reserved his opinion of them to himself.
- Can't really stand overly formal dinners given the stuffiness he had to endure in his time as Head Alchemist of House Van Tassen. Nor does he tolerate those who don't take warfare seriously or value property more than victory.
- In his downtime, Anataeus sometimes plays a solitaire game called Sigmar's Garden for unwinding purposes. And to get around the issue of using alchemical proxies, Concordia commissioned actual marbles for the game.
I really don't want to be impatient or pushy at this point, but can I get approvals for these two so I can move on?
Sig, God of Bug Catchers

- Lesser God
- Symbol: A ladybug above his red left arm
- Theme Music: In the Middle of a Stroll
; Rapid Carefree Advice
- Alignment: True Neutral with mild Good tendencies
- Portfolio: Friend to Bugs, Half-Human and Half-Demon, Very Unemotive (But Not Always), Hair Antennae, Weird-Looking Left Arm
- Domains: Bugs, Appearance
- Fascinated by: All ascended bugs (notably Bug-Type Pokemon)
- Allies: Agitha, Villager
- Opposes: Barroth
- Annoyed at: Ragnaros
- Odd Relations: Guzma
- Half-human, half-demon, and not very expressive, Sig is someone who would rather keep to himself most of the time in addition to not being too hung up with the fact that he's half-demon. Other than his friends, bugs are the one thing that consistently interest him as not only is he kind towards them, he also collects him. That red arm he has as an indicator of him being half-demon has been used to house a family of bugs. There's also a ladybug that follows him around quite a bit.
- While he didn't have much of a reaction after being told he got a spot in the Pantheon, Sig did take an interest at the fact that it housed plenty of bugs that he had never heard of before. Among the bugs that he's been looking at are the various Bug-type Pokemon, many of which are stronger than normal insects. Sig has considered having a Bug-type Pokemon follow him around, but he's pretty content with that ladybug of his for now.
- There were also a variety of insects that can be considered malicious such as Queen Sectonia. It doesn't really mean much given Sig's stoic demeanor and his interest with insects and while there is a risk involved with him potentially getting attacked by antagonistic bugs, Sig does have magic abilities.
- Sig became fast friends with fellow bug fanatic Agitha and the two are often seen together looking for bugs. Agitha does find it strange (even taking into account her own eccentric attitude) about how Sig's red arm is a place to store bugs that he collects.
- Whenever the Villager goes bug-hunting, there's a good chance that Sig will tag along with them and sometimes engage in friendly competition on who can catch the most insects in a short period of time. Sig even tried showing off some of the bugs he has to Villager once, though they politely declined that request.
- A bug-searching outing of his resulted in him chasing around a scorpion and a tarantula for a bit. Eventually, the scorpion and the tarantula retaliated against him, causing a skirmish between them, though Sig came out of the fight with a few injuries. He was later told by someone that the scorpion and tarantula weren't insects much to his indifference.
- Hoping to find another deity who shared an interest in bugs, Sig ended up witnessing a quick Pokemon battle between Guzma and Red. Sig noticed that Guzma relied on Bug-type Pokemon and after the fight was over, Sig asked Guzma if he liked bugs as well. Guzma simply said it was his choice to have a team of mainly bug-type Pokemon, but Sig told him that he's interested in bug-type Pokemon. Guzma took it as a sign that Sig wanted to be a Pokemon trainer, to which Sig said something along the lines of he would if he could have bug-type Pokemon follow him around. Guzma told him that it may take a bit of time for Sig to be skilled with Pokemon, but could oversee his progress should Sig take up being a part-time trainer. No one's sure how all this could turn out, but since Guzma has been mostly behaving himself, plenty are confident that this won't turn out bad (or at least, Sig won't pick up on his less-than-savory habits).
- This ended up getting the attention of Ash Ketchum, who had a feeling that Guzma was going to do something bad to Sig. Even if he's used plenty of other Pokemon in addition to Bug-types, Ash insisted that if there's someone who wants to teach Sig about Pokemon and Bug-types, it would be him and has reached out to him a number of times, with some of these instances causing him to come into conflict with Guzma.
- Ragnaros and his tendency to call beings inferior to him "insect" was something that Sig isn't amused at to say the least, especially since Sig has an interest in "insects" (and by that, he means bugs, not anything else). Couple that with Ragnaros wanting to set things on fire (which in turn would lead to burnt bugs) and it just adds to Sig's dislike of the Firelord.
- Despite being part-demon, Sig doesn't spend much of his time with other demons (or other part-demon deities for that matter). Even if his demonic heritage isn't a major issue for him, some evil demons have considered targeting him, but he's a low priority for them for the time being. While Sig has some decent magic abilities, they definitely aren't on the same level compared to a lot of other demons or half-demons.
- He had a rather bad run-in with a Barroth when Sig was watching some bugs one time. Barroth decided to eat some bugs that Sig was watching and ended up making him just a bit annoyed enough to cause a brief skirmish between Sig and Barroth. That spat wasn't anything significant as it ended with the Barroth getting some scratches and Sig having plenty of mud covered on him.
- One time, Schezo Wegey went after Sig's red arm, believing it to house some sort of potential power. By the time Schezo caught up to Sig, Schezo found out that the red arm was used to house a family of bugs and since Sig was defeated in Puyo-Tetris battle (the whole thing happened when the worlds of Puyo Puyo and Tetris merged, though Sig knowing about how to play Tetris to some degree is another discussion), Schezo would be responsible for the well-being of the bugs. Needless to say, Schezo changed his mind about the arm after that. This could be considered some weird analogy about marriage and the realization of having to tend to a family.
Ruined Dragon, Harbinger of Unforeshadowed and Unexpected Boss Fights (Lord of Lightning)

- Greater God
- Symbol: Its crown
- Theme Music: Lord of Lightning Battle
- Alignment: Neutral Evil when brainwashed
- Portfolio: Non-Standard Character Design, Really Giant Dragon, Lightning Powers, Purple Is Powerful, Our Dragons Are Different
- Domains: Dragons, Lightning
- Rival: Mario
- Enemies: Miraak, Gwyn, Ornstein & Smough
- Disliked by: Acnologia
- Source of Interest for: Alduin
- Cause of Concern for: Paathurnax
- Mario has traveled to many unusual locations and fought plenty of enemies along the way while rescuing Princess Peach. The Ruined Dragon is just another enemy that the plumber has fought, but it somehow manages to stand-out quite a bit compared to Mario's other adversaries. Mario fought against it while trying to stop an attempt from Bowser to marry Peach. How Bowser managed to find a giant realistic-looking dragon that can use lightning in Mario's mostly cartoony world is rather hard to answer, but Mario fighting against it is something the plumber himself didn't really expect.
- As the Pantheon was going about its normal routine, thunder strikes came from above, startling a number of deities. Some of those deities also reported seeing something that looked like a dragon in the sky, prompting various dragon hunters to go after it. They eventually reached what appeared to be ruins and were greeted by a giant purple dragon, who was responsible for the sudden thunder strikes. The dragon hunters fought a difficult battle against it, but they were ultimately able to subdue it. When the time came to ask if anyone fought it before, none of the dragon hunters said they encountered it beforehand. Mario then entered the arena and pointed out that he fought that dragon before, surprising the others. Seeing as how this particular dragon could pose a threat to the Pantheon overall, it's clear that a number of people have taken up turns in stopping it should the dragon go on a rampage.
- It's temple is essentially the Ruined Kingdom, a place that got its name from the fact that he more than likely destroyed the entire place. Among other possible things the kingdom has other than being a desolate location (besides having two different arenas; one a bit more slippery than the other), there's an altar that has been described as either capable of restraining the dragon's lightning or even as a potential means of communicating with it. What other things that kingdom has or used to have (and what more there is to the Ruined Dragon by extension) has been a source of some discussion by a few curious deities.
- The crown on it's head is actually some sort of mind-control device set by Bowser once the latter somehow found the dragon. Given that apparently brainwashing a very destructive dragon is possible, some evil deities have tried to mind-control the Ruined Dragon and have it under their command. It goes without saying that those attempts haven't been as successful in contrast to whatever it was that Bowser did to get the crown on the Ruined Dragon and have it attack Mario.
- Of those capable of mind-control, with or without the use of such devices, Miraak seems to be someone who is actively trying to get the Lord of Lightning under his control, especially with how potent Bend Will is at controlling others, dragons included. An instance of the Ruined Dragon being under Miraak's control happened once, but that got thwarted before the damage got too severe. Subsequent attempts by Miraak to brainwash the Ruined Dragon haven't been as successful to put it mildly.
- Acnologia has some issues with the Ruined Dragon as while the latter is practially responsible for bringing an entire kingdom to ruins, the former is not pleased at all with how the Ruined Dragon got brainwashed by someone and taken down just as easily by someone else who relied on a decidedly unconvential way to subdue the Ruined Dragon. Acnologia, being the battle-hungry dragon that he is, challenged the Ruined Dragon to a fight that caused substantial damage to the Pantheon. It took some time and effort for others to break up the battle and by then, the Ruined Dragon was already getting tired. Acnologia didn't see the Lord of Lightning as a worthy adversary despite the potential since then.
- There have been a couple of dragons who are genuinely interested in the Ruined Dragon, with Alduin as a prominent example. Seeing as how Alduin is responsible for causing a lot of destruction with his great power and how the Ruined Dragon laid waste to an entire kingdom, Alduin has considered trying to get the Lord of Lightning on his side so as to cause destruction on a much grander scale.
- Paathurnax, hearing about the destruction the Lord of Lightning caused along with how Alduin is trying to use it to create even more chaos, saw the Ruined Dragon as a source of potential concern and decided to reach it in case it was on a rampage. When Paathurnax reached the Ruined Dragon, he saw a tired purple dragon and instead tried talking to it in the hopes of preventing potential catastrophe. Given how tired the Lord of Lightning was, it wasn't really able to hear anything Paathurnax said. All Paathurnax could do for now is be with the Dovahkiin whenever the Ruined Dragon strikes and stop major damage from occuring quickly.
- Gwyn never had the best opinion of dragons to begin with, but him finding out that there was a dragon capable of using lightning made the Lord of Cinder quite upset, as the dragons he was used to back in his homeworld are weak to that specific element. This is on top of the Ruined Dragon being really likely to be an enemy to all if left unchecked, regardless of if it's brainwashed or not.
- Just to make it clear, this is a photorealistic dragon that was fought by a cartoony plumber who has occasionally fought against different cartoony dragons before this one. It's just really easy to assume on first glance that the Ruined Dragon would look like something that the Dovahkiin would encounter. While The Last Dragonborn was actually kind of surprised after hearing about who fought that specific dragon, he's willing to step in and fight if the Ruined Dragon causes trouble and Mario isn't available to stop it.
- Very few, if any, have actually seen the dragon without it being brainwashed. Given that there's a high chance that the Ruined Dragon made the Ruined Kingdom what it is without being under mind control, it'd be easy to think that this is not a friendly dragon. Oddly enough, some have seen the dragon just resting by itself in an exhausted state, complaining to itself about being tired.

@Bazzardreturns: If you want to work on the MMPR team profile, you can take one from my WIP page, then polish it on how you see fit.
This is all Zi-O's fault!![]()
For sure, yes, but just keep Tommy's pic in the team profile much like in the same vein as the likes of K-On girls and Night Raid (with Akame having her own profile).
One more thing, if you wanna do a rework on Tommy as well, you can take it from my sandbox.
