Well, I meant the whole "family unfriendly living corpse" aspect of him, but I suppose being undead covers the "hard to kill" part, too.
Plus every time I heard his voice, I could only ever hear the Hacker.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.
And Digit is Iago. It's really, really noticeable.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I've long finished Elsa and Anna's story arcs (Chapter 1, 3-8) and now on Merida's story arc where she wants to find something to do for the rest of her life. In this chapter, she decides to try being Elsa's lady in waiting. Meanwhile, Anna trolls her sister.
If I don't see any Elsa x bedroom door slash fics soon, I'm going to be highly disappointed.
Eh, you can go ahead and skip this chapter if you want.
It's probably just another boring flashback. I'm sure nothing exciting or plot-relevant happens.
Also, I just joined the exclusive club of Frozen fanfics over 100,000 words, so time to break out the good wine and celebrate! Woohooh!

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.AGH!!! Why was I joke-complaining about the lack of cliffhanger endings again?! XD I was getting used to these frequent updates.
Also, I notice that these breaks tend to start with chapters that are much more dramatic than usual. Not complaining or anything; just... Just sayin'.
Um... I guess that depends on what you think it means... I meant it to sound dirty but not TOO dirty...

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Because the idea keeps bouncing in my head sometimes: let's say I do Arctic Rim sequel - how devious do I want to make Hans? I rather like/am proud of how close I'm trying to keep it to real life, which means his plot from Frozen couldn't have worked due to line of succession rules meaning he actually can't marry into a throne. Only his kids would be able to do that, and the best he could hope for is a regency, which would mean he'd have to 1. knock up a sister (would have to be Elsa, because the other would be...no just no) 2. kill the other sister 3. get Martha Louise and her three kids out of the way just so he can be a father figure until the kid grows up.
Was trying to subtly imply that he has deep seated desire to be put in the history books, thus proposing the Wall idea.
This is all just because I kind of want to put some political shenanigans in there, with him as a foil to Elsa being the Good Queen. I kind of also want Xi Jinping (President of China) as one too in a Token Evil Teammate kind of way, due to Author Appeal as well as headcanon that the more authoritarian countries in the PPDC like China and Russia actively repress kaiju cultists (you only saw them in Hong Kong because of One Country Two Systems), while democratic countries like the US and Canada class them under Freedom of Religion. Thus, the former group are more successful in snuffing out cultist cells that do mean harm a la Animal Wrongs Group, they also have a higher frequency of violent incidents (bombings, mass stabbings, car rampages in public outdoor squares, etc) overall, in contrast to, say, America where a lot of time all the cultists do is hold protest marches and "raise awareness" without actually getting anything done.
The idea I had for Hans was a bit more inspired by Toku tropes than real life:
In my scenario, Hans was placed in the same Shatterdome as Anna and Elsa as a mole for a foreign power. This nation, landlocked and far from the rifts, was able to build itself continuously with minimal threat from Kaiju attacks. This country plans to offer their tech to rebulid the ruined world at great cost and become a superpower. To prevent possible competition from other technology engineered from the Jaegers, this power recruits Hans to sabotage/steal the power source of a Jaeger, and happens to be in the sisters' team.
It's a bit inspired by the largely white/foreign villains of the Heisei Godzilla films, specifically the Futurians from Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah and the Saradians and Bio-Major from Godzilla Vs Biollante.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI, for one, welcome our new Krygyzstani overlords.

Although...I guess Switzerland would be the most likely to actually be able to pull it off?
Honestly, one side of Hans that I'd like to see get more attention is his Pragmatic Villainy. To get what he wants, he's not afraid to side with angels or devils.
Essentially, he's be a supporter of the Wall... Until Sydney. He realises that he's probably pulling a Neville Chamberlain here, and decides to throw his entire political might behind the Jaeger Program. Hell, he could have a role in getting Elsa back into the Conpod, so to speak.
He might even push to try and get his own Jaeger. I mean, think of Hans: The entire movie, he's mirroring other characters. He mirrors Anna's Adorkableness, is hostile to the equally hostile Duke of Weselton, and is reasonable with Elsa. Drift wise, he sounds like the type of guy who'd bring nothing in, like Pentecost. Theoretically can drift with anyone.
Ah, yes. Love that aspect of Hans, and my headcanon is that he is totally the ancestor of the fantasy world version of David Xanatos.
I just have trouble pinpointing what exactly Arctic!Hans would actually want enough to go through the effort of such shenanigans. Much less writing a subplot around it. Like, throwing his political weight behind popular things...only really gets him additional fame and popularity, but I don't think it actually increases that much to the power he would already have as a prince who already has a pretty important job posting.

...he's gonna be incredibly hard to kill?
