  • Name: Pascal Blanche Lambert Corvalant
    • Nickname: Pascal Flare (One of the names he gave himself since escaping home and the one he told the crewmates)

  • Gender:Male.

  • Age:23

  • Race:Human.

  • Appearance:This, expect only black-colored hair and hazel-colored eyes, he usually wears his less formal mechanic outfit on the ship.

  • Weapons and Other Non-Magical abilities.:Pascal prefers to use his own weapon designs in combat and takes pride in designing his own tools from whatever quality material or scrap metal he can find.

    • Pascal has an enchanted flintlock pistol with no need for ammo, instead it shoots small fireballs at the opponent, and it can fire 6 times before it has a 30 minute cooldown time.
    • Pascal usually carries with him several throwing daggers, a ranged alternative in case the pistol is cooling down.

    • Katar: Made for piercing armor, it might get some weird looks for the unusual design Pascal gave this weapon.
    • Garrotte: Pascal's favorite weapon due to its unquestionable usefulness in quiet assassination.

    • Dexterity and Low Fortitude:Pascal's physical weakness is perhaps not being the sturdiest of people; he will go down faster than the average human, but not in Squishy Wizard level weak, Pascal is more dexterous than strong as well, being a quick runner, if things actually come to close combat he dodges far more than he attacks.

    • Mcguyvering:As a crafty guy, his biggest weapon is the ability to turn any trash you can find on the street (or battlefield) to a useful tool in a matter of minutes. Which he prefers to the orthodox fighting style swordsmanship he was taught as a child.

  • Magic: Pascal was taught magic like all of his family, but unlike most family, he was not a good magician, he is barely capable of the simplest of spells of most Elements, excluding Fire and Lightning, and even then he is hardly as good as a specialized Caster being capable of casting very few advanced spells of either Element, but it is all he needs for MAXIMUM EXPLOSION POWER.

  • Personality:Pascal is a smart mischievious and humorous person, playing pranks and experimenting out of boredom, he very, very rarely feels guilt for what he does and as long as there aren't any negative consequences to him, Pascal's fine with close to everything that gets him out of boredom. He is also a crafty person, with quickly capability to find use for everything in his surroundings. he found his passion for Engineering and Alchemy as a child, being interested in creating chemicals and crafting tools as a child, as a teen when he had to start actually casting and not just studying magic, Pascal found his passion for Fire and Lightning magic in the same package where he found his passion for weaponry and explosions, he is also a rather talkative person, sociable and is fairly normal in a usual conversation if you exclude that he tends to go from topic to topic very fast and without much order, usually either calm or humorous and smiling, very rarely will you see him get angry at all, he also very rarely reveals much about himself even as he is talkative, something that will strike him as suspicious to any smart person in the crew.

  • Bio:Pascal is the middle child of the highly-traditional Corvalant family of Corros, living in its capital city, his family is known for bringing to Witch Academy some of its best teachers and students since it was created, as well as being one of its major funders, Pascal is the black sheep in the family of magicians, he was more interested in technology, alchemy and generally studies that wouldn't get you high praise in Corros, much less ones wanted by the Corvalant family, he was pressured by his family to be the best of the best students, which, while still is a lot of pressure, wasn't as much for Pascal, he was a fast learner, a curious person who likes learning, but Pascal was good at studying, and studying Magic is not the same as casting it yourself, and when the exams weren't written, Pascal failed them. The only Element classes he had a good grade in being Fire and Lightning, he was continually berated by his family for only managing to get passing scores in magic classes because of the written part, as a child he was actually one of the favorites of the family, and looked at them fondly, once the casting part of these classes started (age 10 for him) his relationship with them began turning stale, he started being less obeying, getting more interested in crafting tools, scheming pranks and such. Which gained him even more scolding from the family, and as he turned of age to go to the Witch Academy (18), he escaped away from home, "borrowing" a few very rare valuables from the family treasury as a final "Screw you" to his parents. After sneaking away from the capital he managed to escape them wherever they may have chased him with cunning, craftiness and willpower, through land and sea. He only found out about it as it was too late to sign up and mistakenly landed on it instead of the traveling ship he planned to travel by out of a hurry as his family was nearby, seeing as he was there, Pascal tried to do a late Sign-up as he was curious about this cure it was searching for, having free food and a good way to get away from his still-chasing family.

Edited my profile.

Also... what exactly is the anatomy of some of these races? Do orcs have an extra heart, for example? Or are they all relatively human in terms of organs? Just wondering, since it'd avoid any flub ups later on.

  • Name: Al'Lothian Valent
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 447
  • Race: Half-Dracovin
  • Appearance: Al'Lothian appears as a young humanoid teen, short, below the average height. He has black hair with reddish tints, and his eyes are also red, with reptilian pupils. His face conveys a youthful outlook, although the scar wound around his right eye tells of experience. His mouth is often in a toothy grin, showing a plethora of sharp teeth. As for his choice of clothing, he wears little, wearing only a set of charred brown leather pants. His red scales however, cover the rest of his body, leaving only a few gaps, such as his bare chest. He usually wears a dark brown cloak to hide his body while travelling. Reference image, just more dragon, and less clothing.
  • Weapons: He prefers hand to hand, using the claws on his hands, and the talons on his feet. He also uses his tail and wings as auxiliary weapons. He can also breath fire, or just smoke for certain situations. He also has a durable bazooka his father made for him, although due to the size and ammo needed, he left it with his mother, and instead uses a selection of bombs he learned to make.
  • Magic: Knows nothing of magic, although his ability to transform could count. He can shift to a near human form, with the only signs of his Dracovin race his eyes, up to his Dragon form; a powerful, if not slow, behemoth.
  • Personality: Lothian is as childish as his appearance, never really thinking about consequences, and goes after things he likes with stubbornness only a Dracovin could have. He enjoys teasing others, completely unabashed about such trifles such as personal space or nudity. He's also quite the flirt, hitting on just about anyone, and even giving a nickname to people he likes. He does value the people he loves, and will happily support them to the end. He's completely honest, and dislikes lies (although he doesn't mind keeping secrets). Lothian loves a good fight, although he tends to hold back, especially when fighting with others as going all out won't give them much in the way of experience. Despite how he acts like, he has seen much of the world, and is sadden about the state of things, although he knows he would probably mess things up, and simply does what he likes. He has a bit of beard envy, as he's been unable to grow one, and would really love to have one like his father's. And also stemming from his father is a enjoyment of technology, specifically of the explosive kind (although the other kinds are still neat).
  • Bio: Born to a rather odd travelling couple of a explorer and a full-blooded Dracovin, he shared their wanderlust. He also learned the talents they had. From his father, the use of explosives and his mother, a few tips on fighting, along with picking up her singing talents. Even after his father died, and his mother deciding to live in seclusion, he continued the adventures they had. He fought in large battles, explored both wilds and the cities, and even attempted to woo a few who caught his fancy (with varying degrees of success). He mostly tried being discreet, never staying too long unless he had family to tend to (and even then, he compromised by coming back to meet them). When the pirate culture was revitalized, he jumped on it. While he only joined as a crew member, his upbeat attitude and a disliked captain caused a mutiny which managed to appoint him as captain. He met some moderate success in this, obtaining wealth that he didn't need and passed along to his crew, or to what little family he has left behind. He grew bored of this, not liking being a leader, and disbanded the crew upon reaching a random port. Hearing about a adventure involving the “Fragment Drought” that been happening for a while, he took it as a sign to join, for fun, discoveries, and maybe a dash of romance here and there.

Guess Who?
#61: Mar 21st 2014 at 12:14:24 PM

Sorry about the post before editing, my computer messed up and posted the sheet before I had completed it.

  • Name: Sandy Sylan
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 25
  • Race: Snake Beastkin
  • Appearance: In his human form. Minus the suit. Snake form In his snake form he doesn't have the braid, his hair is actually snakes and he has fangs.
  • Weapons: Enchanted chainmail under his shirt that is enchanted to be more durable than normal chainmail, in order to protect him from anyoe who would wish to harm him. Has five knives and daggers stashed away in various places and compliments this with a normal longsword that hangs on his hips and that he knows how to use reasonably well.
  • Magic: Has heightened strength, reflexes, speed and agility even in his human form that only grows when he shifts to his snake form. Although his survivalist nature would leave you to come to the conclusion that he would have some basic knowledge of Aether magic, Sandy instead uses basic 'Dark' magic although this only allows him to blend into the shadows and send a momentary sense of fear and/or hopelessness towards someone, or make them inexplicably feel a bit down.
  • Personality: Sandy is, rather self-centered. His main priority is himself. This results in him being willing to do ... rather mean things if it helps him survive. He'd happily commit crimes if it benefited him and is all about himself. And gaining the best possible outcome for himself, which requires money, something he'd also be perfectly willing to do a lot of things for. Furthermore, he is also pessimistic and cynical, and a Deadpan Snarker, not particularly caring for others feelings, even if he is capable of acts of kindness. Also, Sandy isn't against using his various assets to aid him in whatever he's doing, whether that be his beauty or wealth, or both. He is also fiercely independent and doesn't like the sound of dictators or strict rules, or worship, although he doesn't openly denounce the patron elemental of Ocedan.
  • Bio:
    • Born into a rather wealthy middle-class family that had made it quite well in Ocedan for a beastkin family, Sandy and his parents were your average middle-class citizens, preferring the city life to the outside world which has got them quite a bit of flak from their more wild kin. While he was studying law at university, Sandy's father was killed by a group of jealous reptiles, foremostly snakes who lived it rough. His mother had it worse, however being sexually and physically abused and sold as a slave to a faraway country. Treating this as a wake-up call, Sandy became a lot worse when his parents died, his eyes fully opened to the horrors of the world.
    • After leaving uni, Sandy made his name as an Amoral Attorney, pushing for the most ruthless punishments. Highly valued by the high class who had gotten into some trouble, Sandy soon made a fair bit of money and opted into government bureaucracy as a side job. Specifically collecting taxes and being a genuine misery to the people in his neighborhood.
    • Word soon reached him of the trouble in Etona and, being the survivalist that he was, signed up for the journey, simply so that he wouldn't die or be significantly inconvenienced when the trouble hit Euraia. And because he was offered some money.

  • @Al'Lothian Valent: A full-blooded Dracovin is capable of terrorizing and defeating an entire army. Thought I subtly hinted that Dracovin were off limits but didn't make it clear enough. T'was my bad. Going to have to ask you to go with a different character or just make them a half breed.
  • @Sandy Sylan: A Beastkin with magic that would be on par with the other magic oriented races? That's not something I'm going to allow.

Here is sign up. Let me know if there is room to make her bio even more idiotic.

  • Name: Kalameet "Crimson Calamity"
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 120
  • Race: Dracovin Half
  • Appearance: Rawrr
  • Weapons: None, instead relying on her dragon form, claws, and fire breath.
  • Magic: None, she's a dracovin.
  • Personality: Childish, arrogant, selfish, and an idiot. She doesn't quite grasp most social standards and may still be genuinely shocked to find out that the world actually doesn't revolve around her. She refers to the Crimson Calamity as an organization, despite being its only member. If she likes someone then she will give them a position in the group, whether they want one or not. Kalameet is extremely territorial about her possessions and is something of a hoarder.
  • Bio: Once upon a time, a dracovin landed upon a seafaring vessel and declared that everyone on board were now pirates under her command. While initially confused, the crew unanimously agreed to the dracovin's command after seeing the first guy to refuse get turned to ash. Thus started the reign of terror known as the pirate group Crimson Calamity; which was really just a powerful dracovin and her host of hostages which chauffeured her around. Early success for the crew was minimal, as the dracovin's lack of patients often caused her to obliterate the prospected ships, cargo included. But luck changed as their reputation grew. Traders figured that relinquishing their goods was probably preferable to being vaporized. As a result, engagements became bloodless affairs with traders surrendering their goods before the dracovin could even finish her opening intimidation speech. When the dracovin reached her goal, a giant mound of treasure for her to do nothing but sleep on, she retired to the lawless lands. Unfortunately her crew never got any cut of the treasure, or freedom for that matter, with the unluckiest men among them forced to wear skimpy outfits and serve in the dracovin's harem. She eventually gave birth to a daughter named Kalemeet with one of the humans named John, or was it Jake, tell you the truth she had a problem telling the humans apart. Kalameet was a happy child who loved above all else playing in her mother's treasure pile. This was problematic for Kalemeet's mother however as the noise she made while playing kept her from sleeping. One day Kalameet's mother was fed up, and forbid Kalameet from playing in her treasure pile. Distraught, Kalemeet ran away from home, claiming she will just make her own treasure pile then. As Kalameet's mother watched her child flee she considered chasing after her, but opted to just head to sleep instead. Kalameet, now on her own, decided she would get her treasure pile the same way her mother did, by reviving the the Crimson Calamity, even if she was its only member. After tying some logs together to make a raft, she set out for the open seas. While she had some success, she found that whenever she piled treasure on her raft, the whole thing would break and sink to the bottom of the sea. With her dracovin determination she refused give up however, and for years she repeated the process of building rafts, getting treasures, and watching both sink together. Tearfully she finally accepted that force of will was not going to make her rafts any stronger; she was going to need a bigger boat. She heard about a ship that she could board that was looking for some item that could cure the Fragment Drought. She wasn't sure what the item was, or even what a Fragment Drought was, but it was supposedly treasure and would probably look good in her pile.
