Neil raised the $800,000 he needed for Pono in less than 10 hours via a Kickstarter campaign.
I don't see this unseating the iTunes music store (or even becoming the runner-up, really) but I applaud Neil Young's decision to use FLAC. Maybe this can become the Bandcamp for major label artists.
