Unfortunately, the dragon's breath did not work that way. Apparently, it ignored the laws of physics because it still went straight for the team...
Meanwhile...
Beneath the waters of the lake, he slept.
Ancient. Titanic. Destructive.
He was destruction, he was power, as ancient as the temple itself.
Still, he slept. His slumber undisturbed. For now.

"Aye Aye!" she said and began to rush at the great draconic grimm, blazing past the lighting breath and proceding to pepper their foe's left wings with crystal rounds, emptying the magazines.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Team DRKR
Remus retreated slightly to avoid the breath. "Damnit! I'm not sure how much longer we can last..."
Remus had an idea. "Jack. See if you can get it to breath only one element. Tara. You keep trying to get to that wing. Lucas?" Remus saw Lucas. "Awww shit."
Remus got in front of the dragon's mouth, Artemis loaded with an explosive fire arrow. "I wonder if you'll like the taste of this better!" He shot the arrow into the dragon's mouth.

Team CRGS
Calypso flapped her wings, a gust of wind blasting the hairs every which way away from her teammates. Hot air currents shifted, lifting her backwards as she ascended into the air on her massive wings. Surveying the scene from above, she carefully selected her Dust crystals for this fight. One Gravity crystal, one Ice crystal, one Water crystal. Locked and loaded.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialDRKR
Their leader's arrow did its job, and the dragon pulled back, howling and thrashing with rage. Its huge tail swung wildly....smashing into Jack's head.
The Sky-Lord roared. These prey have gone too far! They will die! It jumped forward, tryin to claw Remus in the face.

He-Who-Brings-Death sighed. That flying one could be a problem.
He twisted his huge body, and with a sickening crunch, the beast broke free.
Ow. That hurt.
Bleeding slightly, it jumped, aiming to catch the Hawk Faunus with one of its massive legs...

Team CRGS
Raqib leapt into action as the spider Grimm was held up by his Rufous's blade. Instead of exiting through the hole which was now coated with those horrific hairs, he cut through some of the webbing with Rhythm & Blues and raced out, turning them back into magnums and firing a few rounds at the oversized hide of his opponent. "Time to roll the dice again, fragment! See if you can stand against Raqib Grenitch, Prophet of the Crimson Eyes!"

WHAM
The Tail connected with Jack's head, as the Hunter went flying, tumbling down the bridge, Ragnarok went skittering to the Edge, teetering and at risk of any movement falling. Jack rolled head over heels before stopping, ten feet away, on his back, unmoving.

Good to be backTeam DRKR
Remus held up his arm, activating his aura to mitigate the damage from the claw swipe while blocking. "How do we even beat this thing!?" Remus backed off before splitting Artemis into dual swords mode. "That's it. I'm getting in on the melee." Remus dashed forward and leaped up, kicking off the Grimm's claw and landing on its back. "You're going down!" Remus drove both swords of Artemis into the frozen joint of the left wing, aiming to take it out once and for all.
Mizukage and Morder
You're lucky, Remus. Because when you fell, Mizukage and Morder were preparing their final assault on Team BLAD. Get out of there, man. There will be much worse things showing up than any of the Grimm here.
Timelining post as to why Remus isn't getting eaten.

Well... Jack froze the foggy cloud, hoping that the Temple would serve, almost like a lighting rod...Or, better yet, it would hit the water and fry the other two.
