"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperWell looks like we can add Shipper on Deck to the tropes page.
Also Medus did not, since I haven't seen a good opportunity for him to interact in any of the scenes today my brain is telling me he's up on the roof playing Hotel California

"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperDude, shit happens. Sometimes it will happen to you. Just take it and get over it, man. As a reflection of life, this roleplay is not going to always turn out for the better for its characters. And that's their problem: Life's not going to award them victory and fulfillment on a platter, so they've got to endure and find their own way to reach it.
Anyway, I'm going to be gone by around 2:00, so don't expect much more from me tonight.

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Argh, I know I'm overreacting again... >_< but honestly, I am personally hurt by this failure. It honestly feels like I've failed at the RP. It's not about the battle, but I feel that I've done something completely wrong and don't know what it is.

Let's let events play out as they will. What happens in WAOA stays in WAOA.@Dreigonix: Well, it does sometimes feel like you're trying to make Dex the absolute winner of his stories. And that's just not how life is going to work out for him. It shit on him before, throwing him into Team MIND, and it's going to keep throwing stuff at him. He's got a lot to learn before he can even really help himself.
Dex may be the hero of his own story, but that is not going to automatically make him the victor, or the most well-liked, or the most intelligent person in his own story. Right now he's lied to his partner and team leader, lost Ayers' respect, and he loses fights because he's reckless and wasteful with the resources he has in combat.
Sooner or later, you and he are both going to have to realize you're both part of a bigger narrative, and that neither of you can just merrily go about your business without stepping on someone's toes.
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...I think it's because the reason I lost was because I personally didn't quite understand the mechanism..... TT____TT
Right now he's lied to his partner and team leader, lost Ayers' respect, and he loses fights because he's reckless and wasteful with the resources he has in combat.
And again, that means I've ruined his character. At this point in WAOA, this would be the point where my character would have to leave...

Let's let events play out as they will. What happens in WAOA stays in WAOA.I daresay that Dex has the most potential as a character, he's immature and cocksure, and his character arc could be the classic growth as a person.
Look, we're not the Waoaoa elitists. Alright? Don't compare us to them, your character is flawed. So? So is everyone else. We're not going to boot out your character because he's screwed up. We're more interested in him to see him grow as a character into a mature warrior.
