@GOA: Barry is not a stable person. Callie is the first person he's ever really allowed himself to feel anything for, followed shortly by Olivia. He will perform an acrobatic fucking pirouette off the handle at the slightest hint anyone will try to take her away. He just had her ask him to leave her alone, went up top a spire to think about what he was doing wrong, then saw her under a tree standing close to him. He's taking out his frustration at himself and his anger at Rufus for trying to, as he sees it, catch her on the rebound.
