@Ominae: By all means, go wild with your imagination. :)

@Grey: Well yeah, the cast's looking pretty diverse. I can only hope this diversity will continue to grow.

I'll think of a secondary in due time...

  • Name: Bowser
  • Age: Unknown
  • Universe: Super Mario Bros
  • Personality: Vicious and angry to a tee. Bowser rarely shows any type of regret for his actions throughout the Mushroom Kingdom, and he rules over the subjects that he does have with an iron claw. He's also shown to have a mischievous, almost Troll-like side to him as he likes to poke fun at his opposition, especially Mario. He's also very arrogant, thinking that there is no other power that's greater than he is.
  • Personal Appearance: GRRAAAAAWWWWWRRRR!
  • Powers/Abilities: His most iconic ability is his ability to produce fire breath. He can either shoot the flames in short bursts of fireballs or in a continuous pillar of fire. He's also remarkably durable, able to survive being thrown in lava or from falling from great heights. He's also really powerful, capable of lifting even islands off of the ground.
  • Equipment: His favored mode of transportation is the Koopa Clown Car, a helicopter like vehicle that lifts Bowser and his other allies to safety and to enemy places.
  • Alignment: Black
  • Backstory: Bowser is the King of the Koopa, with his army trying and failing numerous times to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Thwarted many a time to take over the Mushroom Kingdom at the hands of Mario led Bowser to look for other ways to try and finally defeat Mario and ultimately rule over the Kingdom. It was during this search that he met the Man of Ipsum and learned of the tale of the ancient civilization of Ipsum. Thinking that this civilization and its power may help him and the Koopa in his quest to take over, Bowser accepted and joined up with this team.

On Bayonetta... isn't she on roughly the same power level as Dante? Perhaps she has flashier summons, but they kind of kill monsters of the same size. Perhaps she can be nerfed a little by not having access to all her summons for finishing moves, but aside from that I don't think she's too bad.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Bayonetta in general is a bit too outrageous in her general powers. Not even taking into account some of the most absurd weaponry ever seen(Dual-Leg Rocket Launchers. Really?), she still fights enemies much more powerful and bigger than Dante and comes with absolutely no injury, no matter if she's dealing with a swarm of Mooks, one of the Cardinal Virtues or God herself. All of her finishers would have to be cut, same with her weaponry and certain accessories(cough Moon of something-something cough). Can't say I will agree otherwise.

  • Name: Magina*, the Anti-Mage
  • Age: Good question. Maybe mid-twenties or so? Early thirties? Late teens? None of the above? Is he even human? Nobody knows.
  • Universe: DOTA 2
  • Personality: Anti-mage is something of a militant crusader on a mission; he seeks to rid the world of all magic and isn't above personally eliminating the spell casters that he deems dangerous with his own bare hands. As such, he can be somewhat prideful and arrogant about his own prowess in combat. He's not above allying with friendly magic users if they have a common goal, however although whether or not this kind of hypocrisy has even occurred to him is something of an enigma.
  • Personal Appearance: THE FUN ENDS HERE
  • Powers/Abilities: Anti-Mage, as one might expect, is extremely good at fighting wizards, witches, mages, seers, psychics, casters, shamans, spell-weavers, or pretty much anyone else who uses some any kind of magic or ESP. His style of combat in these situations generally involves redirecting harmful energies and attacks back on their users, then using the resulting magical feedback to overwhelm the target in a magical void... or something like that, at any rate.

He can also just punch them in the mouth if he feels like it.

  • Blink: Short distance teleportation that lets him move in and out of combat (he can teleport about ten to fifteen feet at a time maximum)
  • Mana Break: Since this isn't a video game and nobody has mana, it's not really worth describing. Presumably anyone sensitive to magic or able to cast magic spells finds it harder to do so the more often Anti-Mage hits them. The more magical powers they have, the more damage they would take (so someone who can just throw a fireball or two wouldn't find it as debilitating as some kind of uber-magical mage who can call down the sun or something)
  • Spell Shield: Some kind of super-willpower hardens his resistance against spells; although they are still capable of injuring or killing him it takes a lot more magic to keep him down.
  • Mana Void: This one is kind of hard to explain well... it's kind of like a black hole of anti-magic that damages people based on how much mana they're missing. Since there is no mana bar for obvious reasons, you might as well just say it's some kind of finishing move for when AM has put the hurt on them enough.
  • Equipment: He carries a pair of glaives as hand to hand weapons, as well as some monk robes adapted into magic-resistant armour.
  • Alignment: He genuinely wants to make the world a safer, happier place for everyone by violently murdering everyone that goes against his personal philosophy. So... grey, I guess?
  • Backstory: The monks of Turstarkuri watched the rugged valleys below their mountain monastery as wave after wave of invaders swept through the lower kingdoms. Ascetic and pragmatic, in their remote monastic eyrie they remained aloof from mundane strife, wrapped in meditation that knew no gods or elements of magic. Then came the Legion of the Dead God, crusaders with a sinister mandate to replace all local worship with their Unliving Lord's poisonous nihilosophy. From a landscape that had known nothing but blood and battle for a thousand years, they tore the souls and bones of countless fallen legions and pitched them against Turstarkuri. The monastery stood scarcely a fortnight against the assault, and the few monks who bothered to surface from their meditations believed the invaders were but demonic visions sent to distract them from meditation. They died where they sat on their silken cushions. Only one youth survived—a pilgrim who had come as an acolyte, seeking wisdom, but had yet to be admitted to the monastery. He watched in horror as the monks to whom he had served tea and nettles were first slaughtered, then raised to join the ranks of the Dead God's priesthood. With nothing but a few of Turstarkuri's prized dogmatic scrolls, he crept away to the comparative safety of other lands, swearing to obliterate not only the Dead God's magic users—but to put an end to magic altogether. At some point during his travels across the world, he received an invitation to a new world, beset by an evil no less foul than that of the Dead God's. Taking up his glaives once more, he vowed to purge the world of Ipsum of all that he deemed impure and unholy.
  • Other: He also goes by the name Anti-Fun and likes to buy many things

I'm interested, hopefully I'll have the inspiration to actually play in this one

  • Name: Lucas
  • Age: 12
  • Universe: Mother3
  • Personality: Lucas is a sensitive boy but also cautious, gentle and timid. He's shy around people at times, but for the most part he's determined and strong-willed when needed. He gets along well with people once he's comfortable around them and always gives support to others when it's possible. He also loves omeletes.
  • Personal Appearance: PK Thunder!
  • Powers and Abilities: Lucas can use PSI, he can create sparks of energy for some of his weaker attacks, but depending of how much energy he puts on it they can still be quite powerful, if slow attacks. His more useful skills can take a lot of energy out of him, as such, it's difficult for him to use many of them repeatedly, however he makes up with sheer versality. It's of note that using his powers on more than one person is going to drain his energy much faster than if he used it on just one.
    • Support PSI
      • Life Up: Lucas uses his PSI to heal himself or an ally, he can heal multiple targets, but they'll be healed less than they would if it was used on single person.
      • Shield: Lucas envelops his or an ally with a shield that halves the strenght of physical attacks. Particularly strong attacks can get through the protection though. It usually only needs three attacks to break, no matter it's strenght.
      • PSI Shield: The same as Shield, except with magical attacks.
      • Offense Up: Boosts the physical strenght of an ally or himself.
      • Defense Up: Boost the physical resistance of an ally or himself
      • Refresh: A PSI skill that very slowly heals it's target fully, can only be used on one person at a time.
    • Offensive PSI:
      • PK Fire: Lucas fires a small bolt at the opponent that burst into flames upon making contact.
      • PK Thunder: Lucas fires a bolt of lighting towards the opponent, he can control it's direction but can't keep it going for too long. He can also use it on himself to propel himself as a missile like an opponing for a strong ramming attack.
      • PK Freeze: Lucas makes a snowflake that grows bigger as it's launched into the opponent, it proceeds to blow in an freezing explosion. However if it hits the ground before it can explode it'll do nothing.
      • PK Starstorm: His strongest technique, Lucas make comets rain down on the area at complete random, as such there's a high risk of friendly fire when using the attack. However, it's very powerful, but also leaves Lucas almost unable to do anything else afterwards.
  • Equipment: A stick, a very powerful one at that, being even capable of reflecting projectiles. He also has a Rope Snake that he uses to grab people from afar by using it as a rope.
  • Alignement: White
  • Backstory: Lucas lived in a small village named Tazmilly peacefully with his family. However a sudden attack from a weird army in pig costumes called the Pigmask Army turned everything to the worst. Lucas lost his mother and brother, but eventually grew out of it and became a stronger person. He eventually fought the Pigmask Army again after getting older, learning how to use PSI and discovering the dark secrets of the island he lived in as well. Once the conflict was dealt with, Lucas heards the request for help from the Ipsum and couldn't bring himself to ignore it, deciding to aid them in their problems.

Seeing as how someone brought in Bowser, Princess Peach is too good to pass up.

  • Name: Princess Peach née Toadstool
  • Age: Early-to-mid 20's
  • Personality: Peach is a young women who is much deeper than her appearance would belie. First and foremost, she is very girly and comes off as delicate. She naturally likes the classiest and most civilized things that a princess would like, enjoying tea time, swimming in a pool, trying on clothes, riding horses, etc. She tries her hardest to be the best princess she can be, and doesn't like to get her hands her, and tries to be as nice as she can, even if a lot of things around her scare her or creep her out. She scares easily, but she never lets her fear take control of her and is very willing to asset herself. At the same time, she is a bit of a basket case, speaking in princessly non-sequiturs, such as wanting to stop battle to enjoy a bit of tea with her enemy. She also has small bouts of nativity that she is trying to cure. She is very curious and adventurous and tends to ask a lot of questions, and her girlish charming nature is very good at making her come off as innocent and someone to be taken care of. She despises being lonely more than anything, and deep down as feelings of self-loathing at her constant need to be taken care of, and blames that need as the cause of the mistakes she regrets.
  • Personal Appearance: Maaaaaaaario!
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Princess Peach can sometimes use extreme emotions to unleash powers from her. This gives her a couple of abilities:
      • Catching on fire when angry
      • Launching large bursts of tears when very sad
      • Healing wounds and injuries when very happy
    • Peach is very graceful, using her strong affinity for dance and beauty to redirect and dodge.
    • She is an expert in all manner of princessly duties such as manners, equestrian training, and she is very good at a number of sports and picks up physical activities quickly.
  • Equipment: Her trusty parasol, which she mainly uses to float and glide down to the ground. She can also use to to shield herself from some attacks, and as s study weapon when closed.
  • Alignment: White with splotches of grey
  • Backstory:
    • Princess Peach is the current active ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. She is one of the only humans living in the Mushroom Kingdom, along with Mario, Luigi, and a few others. She was adopted by the previous Mushroom King when she was just a baby. Sometime in her childhood, her father was killed by evil creatures from the Koopa Kingdom. She had since been raised by Toadsworth and served and taken care of by the many Toads that populate the Mushroom Kingdom. She grew up a spoiled and pampered Princess, and for a large part of her young life, she was very happy and safe. But sometime around the age of 17, she became sought after by the current ruler of the Koopa Kingdom, Bowser. Bowser was infamous for wanting to rule the Mushroom Kingdom for himself, and had tried quite a few times to take over the land. This time, he was enraptured by Peach's beauty and decided that if he could kidnap her and have her agree to marriage, her would inherit the throne. She was swiftly kidnapped, and locked up in his castle. She thought she was done for, but a hero stepped up. A human, a regular plumber from the real world, and his cowardly brother were magically transported to the Mushroom Kingdom and rescued her. These brothers, Mario and Luigi have since been considered the greatest heroes in the Kingdom. Bowser would go on to kidnap Peach many, many, 'many times over the next few years, Mario saving her each and every time.
    • But Princess Peach had a terrible secret, which she has told absolutely no one, not even her very best friend Princess Daisy. It is true that Princess Peach absolutely hates Bowser. She considers him a terrible, evil, despicable, mean reptile and wishes he would stop his evil ways, but over the years, she has seen more of Bowser than anyone else in the Kingdom. She has seen him at his best, and his worst. She knows about his childhood, his fears, his dreams, and is very very small bit of a kind side. She regrets it every single day, but she can not deny it any longer that there is a small part of her that is terribly drawn to Bowser. She very much wishes that she could just hate him like everyone else does, and requite Mario's obvious love for her but she just can't bring herself to. And just as this problem is about to rear its ugly head yet again as Bowser kidnaps her from the kingdom, she runs away from her problems at the words of the Man of Ipsum.
  • Other: Has a weakness for cake, cute animals, and the color pink.

Name: Ragna the Bloodedge

Age: Never really specifies, likely early twenties.

Personality: Loud, coarse, pottymouthed and easily angered, Ragna doesn't seem like the nicest guy around. However, behind that thick skull is a man with an undying will. No matter what, Ragna will not give in once he has his mind set on a goal, regardless of losses or sacrifices. Alongside that is a legitimately compassionate guy, one who'll be there for a friend, one who will do anything to save someone he cares about.

Appearance: Goo. (sup)

Powers and skills: Trained by one of the Six Heroes, Jubei, the strongest being alive, Ragna is an exceptional fighter, being able to take down a squad of soldiers, yandere brothers, and even managing to hold his own against Kusanagi, the Godslayer. However, his ultimate gambit is the Azure Grimoire, AKA his strange-looking left arm. Using this, he can infuse his attacks with darkness, to drain the enemies energy with each attack. Alongside that, he can use the darkness for special, and very powerful attacks. Known moves are

  • Dead Spike (burst of aura)
  • Hells Fang (Charging punch, following by a knockback wave)
  • Infernal Divider (Rising slash, usually followed by a hard punch)
  • Gauntlet Hades (falling kick, followed by rising kick)
  • Belial Edge (falling slash)
  • Blood Scythe (Overhead attack, where his sword turns into a scythe, slashing at the enemy)
  • Carnage Scissors (One of his more powerful attacks, a slash to knock down the enemy, then attacking them with twin pincers from the ground, to cross-slash the enemy (hence the scissors))
  • Blood Kain (gives a temporary boost to all of his abilities, at the cost of his energy slowly draining)
  • Devoured By Darkness (an unblockable grab, where Ragna hoists the enemy, where they are slashed by darkness 30 times. When in Blood Kain, the 30 goes straight to 70, creating a truly devastating move)
  • Black Onslaught (Bar none Ragna's most powerful move, starting with a stunning slash, Ragna's sword transforms into a scythe, and he slashes at the enemy relentlessly, before outright draining the enemy of most of their life. At the end of it all, he uses all the energy built up to strike the enemy one last time, completely obliterating him/her/it.)

Equipment: If you couldn't tell by now, it's a sword. The sword, although rather big, appears to be lightweight, or Ragna is just strong enough to wield it one handed.

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Backstory: Orphaned at a young age, Ragna lived with his siblings, Jin and Saya, in a church, watched over by Celica A. Mercury. However, Saya became very ill at some point, so Ragna had to watch over her more and more, spending less and less time with his brother, Jin, causing Jin to become more and more jealous of Saya, and eventually hating her. This proved to be his downfall, as a being named Yuuki Terumi manipulated Jin, giving him Yukianesa. Jin not only burnt down the church, he cut off Ragna's arm and kidnapped Saya, leaving Ragna for dead. However, a vampire named Rachel Alucard ended up saving his life, and he was later found by Jubei. He ended up attaining the Azure Grimoire, a powerful grimoire. Trained by Jubei, with the occasional teasing from Rachel, Ragna was eventually given his trademark sword and coat, which once belonged to a hero named Bloodedge. Ragna decides to start calling himself Ragna the Bloodedge, and sets off on his own path. Insert events of Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift here, because spoilers.

Other: He seems to enjoy cooking to an extend, and treasures a silver bracelet he has. He likes ball noodles, and fears ghosts to an outright comical extent.

Alrighty. The roster doesn't have much live-action stuff. But I'm not sure which one is okay with Fergard, so I have these two placed just in case one of them is not accepted in some way.

Anyhow, let me know.

  • Name: Staff Sergeant Henry 'Henno' Garvie
  • Age: 49 (Based from Ross Kemp's age)
  • Universe: Ultimate Force, post-Season 4.
  • Personality: Staff Sergeant Garvie is a dedicated man willing to defend his country and help his fellow SAS colleagues survive to live another day. He has a passionate dislike for anyone who tries to use WMDs to make a point, especially nuclear-made weapons and anyone who disses and takes advantage of old folks, since he cares for them and doesn't like how gangs have taken over the East End area of London. Henno is willing to do illegal things if it can resort to something that closes a case or a situation such as "killing" a suspect in a calm and collected manner or "taking care" of a problematic officer.
  • Personal Appearance: Based on this man's appearance.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Due to his NCO status, Henno has shown leadership skills in the absence of a commissioned officer.
    • Familiar with special forces and anti-terrorist tactics alongside the use of small arms and grenades.
    • Can use CQC in the absence of small arms, unarmed or with handheld weapons.
    • Fluent in Arabic, British English, French, Russian and Spanish. Can understood some American lingo since he had previously worked with Delta Force in the past.
    • Can handle navigation and/or navigational equipment like handheld compasses and GPS, provided that he has a map of the place he is in.
    • Henno can drive sedans and vans (mostly).
  • Equipment: Heckler & Koch G36K with mounted red dot scope and a SIG-Sauer P226R with four magazines each and 3x L109A1 frag grenades. He has Green DPM-95 clothing on over a tac vest with tac gloves, balaclava and drop leg holster. He also keeps a shemagh for missions where the weather is a hindrance to the point that he needs to cover his face with it. A headset is also included, worn on his right ear and attached to a radio extender. Henno carries a pair of ballistic goggles with him.
  • Alignment: White, but may descend to some black depending on the situation.
  • Backstory: Henno Garvie was born and raised in the East End area of London, a place where he spent the happiest times of his life before he joined the British military and eventually, into the Special Air Service. As he is the noncommissioned officer in the unit's Red Team, Henno takes charge of the team's operation in Britain and abroad. Due to his time with the unit, Henno became a bit cynical to the point that he is willing to kill to protect what's important to him. It has been a few years since the attempted WMD attack on Britain by armed mercenaries that Henno has been contemplating on whether to continue serving in the unit after his return to Hereford from Task Force Black due to casualties sustained under his command, most of them due to the loss of his teammates when he first met them after joining the team. Henno was about to be deployed for a mission overseas when he received a letter that is said to be classified. When told to read it, the SAS veteran read that he was going to be relocated for another mission outside of Britain. Little did he know that the classified mission order was doctored from Ipsum.
  • Other: The reason I gave him the Task Force Black deployment is because Ultimate Force was scrapped after four seasons in Britain, which didn't give him much background aside from the ones I mentioned.

  • Name: Senior Inspector Chin Hon-to
  • Age: 45 (Based from Joe Ma's age)
  • Universe: Tiger Cubs, post-Season 1.
  • Personality: A Special Duties Unit officer who made his way up the ranks from his time as a Constable, SI Chin believes in hard work to success. As a high-ranking officer, he has seen action throughout Hong Kong as he battles armed criminals and terrorists to protect its residents from harm. As such, he refuses to let someone from his unit or someone he knows from becoming a monster to achieve justice, even worse if he/she jumps off the slippery slope since he needs to set a good example and make sure the law is followed, even through harsh times.
  • Personal Appearance: Using the headshot of Joe Ma, the actor playing CHT
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • As a Hong Kong Police Force officer, Senior Inspector Chin Hon-to has a wide knowledge on police procedure, but mostly those that are done legally in Hong Kong territory.
    • Been trained by both the HKPF as a uniformed officer and later by the SDU, he's familiar with all types of small arms, close quarters combat martial arts and tactics. This also include fighting in either urban or rural areas.
    • Being a native of Hong Kong, he can speak, write and understand Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese alongside English, although the latter will have a combination of speaking it with a bit of a Hong Kong-based accent and having some British English mixed with Hong Kong English.
    • Can handle navigation and/or navigational equipment like handheld compasses and GPS, provided that he has a map of the place he is in.
    • He can drive vehicles such as sedans and vans (mostly).
  • Equipment: Heckler & Koch G36KV with 3x Reflex Sight and Glock 17 with four magazines each. 3x flashbangs and tear gas. He has DPM-95 clothing on over a tac vest with tac gloves, balaclava, drop leg holster and respirator pouch. Chin has a PASGT helmet worn over his head due to SDU regulations. He has an earpiece worn on his left ear and attached on a radio extender.
  • Alignment: White.
  • Backstory: Chin Hon-to has served in the Hong Kong Police Force for years, serving in the former Royal Hong Kong Police Force as a uniformed officer before he advanced up the ranks where he was recruited into the Special Duties Unit years after the 1998 handover. Making the rank of Senior Inspector, Chin was able to get to a leadership position that he was able to command SDU's Alpha Team. While he was able to meet with a young woman named Ting Wai-wai, who was a stewardess, they grew apart due to their lack of time from seeing each other and to the former's working commitment to the SDU, which requires his presence. A few months after the attempted hijacking of a cruise ship, Senior Inspector Chin participated in an anti-terrorist operation in Hong Kong where evidence suggests that something was going to happen in Ipsum and when he was personally approached by the Man of Ipsum under the pretense of the officer's meeting with an informant, he didn't know what to do except to go since he had just fallen out with Senior Inspector Chong Chuk-wah. Despite the apprehension of the Hong Kong government, they relented and allowed him to go since the letter they "received" from Ipsum requested (politely with a bit of colorful words) that his presence is needed at once.
  • Other: He is based on Chin Hon-to post-season 1 of Tiger Cubs, but not in a relationship due to RL stuff since the actress playing his love interest isn't coming for the second season.

Quick question: I've changed my ideas and am now planning to use Fox McCloud - but owing to the fact I haven't played any Star Fox games past Adventure, would it be cool if I stole his on-ground repertoire from Super Smash Bros?

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.
