Seth isn't as involved with his shows anymore as many people think. While he was never involved with American Dad sans the development and Stan, Roger and Greg Corbin, he's not to Family Guy (as of current) as say John Kricfalusi is to The Renand Stimpy Show (Prior to his firing).
This may be good but it sounds more like it's Mark Hentemann's baby.
You could say the same thing about Norman Lear, Aaron Spelling, and Chuck Lorre, among others.
Exactly. I don't think there's a single creator who suffers from Scapegoat Creator syndrome as much as Seth does. He even gets flak for shows that he didn't actually create.
I'll give this a chance, but not I'm not gonna lie, I'm bitter that this seems to be replacing American Dad on the Sunday line-up.
Let's try to keep the Seth bashing to a minimum, please.

Supports cartoons being cartoony!![]()
Well, Seth did start this mess of mediocrity to failure - who else is to blame besides his weak followers who think this shot is funny when it just... isn't?
I can handle ugly looking (without naming examples, of course...). I can't handle ugly writing, which I know this will have...

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Insulting Seth's fans is completely uncalled for. You also shouldn't be calling something unfunny as if it's a fact.
You know this how? Do you have psychic powers? Were you given an excusive preview of the show?
I know that your post would have been called out or thumped by the mods if this was about any other non-Mac Farlane show (with the possible exception of Sponge Bob). Acceptable Targets much? Seth's shows (although this wasn't created by him) deserve to be treated with the same respect as anything else around here.
Again, that's subjective. I personally think that the anime style is ugly, but I don't state that as an undisputed fact. I also think that Bobs Burgers is ugly, but I still like the show.

I know I shouldn't judge something that isn't out,but I seriously do not have any sort of good expectations for this show.At all!Mac Farlene or not,I still think that I won't like the show. The art looks worse then Seth's other shows and the title alone just gives me bad vibes.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013just a small aside- I know you're talking about general stylistic traits, but even then, there is no singular "anime style". i don't mean to be so nitpicky, it's just that a lot of them look so different from each other that this isn't that helpful.
i honestly don't know how much involvement seth has in each of his shows, but they tend to be hit or miss for me. i actually kind of like american dad, but i usually find family guy (especially later on) horrendously mean-spirited and unfunny. given that this is apparently not even his creation and his name is just attached it's hard to judge how good this is gonna be or not.

Unbelievable. Why is this considered an acceptable post, but if I called My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic an overrated, Merchandise-Driven, diabetes-flavored pile of crap without ever watching it, the entire board would howl with rage?
And that's perfectly fine. It's one thing to have low expectations for a show and know that it's not your cup of tea. It's quite another when you state your opinion as an undisputed fact and even worse, insult fans of a creator's work (I still can't believe that The Shop Soldier hasn't been called out by anybody but me after his/her rude post).
Yeah, I guess that's what I'm talking about. You can't deny that there is a specific style unique to anime, but I didn't mean to imply that they all look the same.

My god, I have never seed a group of people more fatter and uglier than this except in Texas.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice1.Those were just dudes, no fugly women
2.They wern't drawn fugly either.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSigh... If it makes anyone around here feel better - I was (unfortunately, because they can do better than this crap, IMHO!) insulting the people who work on these kinds of shows and keep thinking Mac Farlane's brand of BS is worth copying (it isn't, IMHO...), not the fans of his works. Sorry if I didn't say this earlier.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.

Bordertown is an upcoming Fox show created by Family Guy writer Mark Hentemann and executive produced by Family Guy creator Seth Mac Farlane. Wikipedia summarizes the show as "Bordertown takes place in a fictitious town in Texas. The two main characters are Bud Backwald, a border line agent who has three children, and Ernesto Gonzales, an imigrant from Mexico who is happy to be with his family in the United States."
My first was "another Seth Mac Farlane cartoon?" I'm a mild Seth fan (I enjoy Family Guy, but The Simpsons will always be better in my book), so I might enjoy the series, but you gotta wonder how busy he is working on so many shows.
