I keep thinking of a scenario where it's a really wild, complex, intricate story but it all starts because some waitress at a cafe accidentally spilled the coffee... And I have no idea where exactly such an idea would actually go, I guess it could be that she pisses off someone powerful or something, but... Yeah. Here's an idea.
An Affectionate Parody of both the Princess Protagonist trope and The DCU in which the main characters are a Super Team comprising expies of Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld, Comic Book/Starfire and Wonder Woman (and/or Wonder Girl). And which heavily pokes fun of the whole notion of the Gratuitous Princess in media.
Yes. (Or, at least, that too. Since I seem to have an odd liking for this type of character.)
Also I'm thinking just making it a Fountain of Expies featuring versions of "every Magical Girl Warrior who just so happens to be a princess."

How about when the main character discovers a MacGuffin that shows him some possible futures? He/She could be a layabout who discovers an artifact after a fight with a family member.
"Fan, a Mega Man character."Cast full of Tsunderes.
Yes, that's my pitch.
You keep using the term "POV". I do not think it means what you think it means. An isekai involving western geeks. One is the level-headed one that just wants to enjoy things and the other is your typical bigoted fanboy. Bonus point if the former is a POC woman as well.
The setting is your typical fantasy in which the fanboy uses his familiarity with the setting to try to play the role of the "hero" he always wanted, but of course, This Is Reality.
"Cynicism is not realistic and tough. It's unrealistic and kind of cowardly because it means you don't have to try."
Interesting, though given the nadir of the genre (Shield Hero, Master of Ragnarok, etc) I think the bigot might still end up making headway in his deplorable goals.
Of course this can easily segue into a story where the level headed person is the actual hero and the fanboy becomes the villain.
Free idea 1: A pair of teenage girls end up embroiled in a magitek experiment gone wrong, ended up merged and in a state where only one of them can be conscious at a time, while the other slumbers in the form of a gauntlet coating the conscious woman's arm. The two try to find a way to bring themselves back to normal, as they end up in battles with the local mob, Mad Scientists and other anomalies
Free idea 2: A whale of a tale, following a Cute Monster Girl giantess that is half human and half whale, (and not quite in a mermaid way) a group of friendly marine biologists researching her and a guy who is basically the modern Captain Ahab, obsessed with hunting and exploiting the half-whale girl.
Free idea 3: A sci-fi take on Charlemange and his paladins, a la Camelot 3000. In which the King of the Franks is reinterpreted as the leader of the starship Joyeuse and ends up in Star Trek scenarios, alongside his science captain and right hand Roland, his effeminate left hand Astolfo and various other "paladins".

That's exactly what I had in mind.
It could lead to a meaningful conversation that this path of villainy is what the fanboy was destined to be after all, and other more like him. Only those who simple see things in a healthy manner deserve are the only ones worthy of being heroes.
"Cynicism is not realistic and tough. It's unrealistic and kind of cowardly because it means you don't have to try."Since I was at the House on the Rock yesterday, I had a story idea involving it. When King Zasedis, Queen Sastiana, and Princess Zulloenne go on their vacation to Wisconsin in the vacation story that'll take place after Volume VIII, one of the fun things they're going to do in the Badger State is visit the House on the Rock. And the following Funny Moments will occur.
- When walking through the Infinity Room, either Zasedis or Sastiana will read aloud from the brochure the Room’s unease-inspiring reputation, since it’s not being held up by anything. Zulloenne, on the other hand, will say “I don’t see what the big deal is,” while she’s floating in midair; she is an angel, after all
- Zulloenne will actually point and laugh at the statues of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse towards the end of the museum, considering her parents defeated their Dark Stone Cutter equivalents back in Volume III
Today's bad weather made me remember this story idea. When Max, Anna, Jason, Kalegar, and Ruby go through the wilderness of Nebraska during their fun recreation of the Oregon Trail, they'll encounter a tornado - which in turn will cause them to run for shelter. Clydesdales may be farm-working (and beer wagon-pulling
) horses, but they can run up to 20 miles per hour with the right motivation.
Here is one:
A multiverse-setting of infinite worlds, following a consistent MC whose "job" is to get sent to these countless, infinite, worlds in order to end them and their "stagnant suffering" due to them being "Dead Ends" in the timelines.
The MC himself being a human being, faceless, not saying a single word, and granted "powers" by its "owner" in order to carry out its task at hands.
However, not even it could foresee what could have happened with its human-"toolbox" once the story starts and we get to follow it on its journey...

I had this cute story idea recently. I was thinking of Heather and her new lover Lysette getting a pet ferret. :)
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
