Don't you hate it when you don't want to double post but nobody says anything for days and you forget what you thought of?
Does this topic have a counterpart in Fan Fiction or may I just post it here?
A Super Hero School but with a twist: it turns out the the kids aren't really "mutants" or "superpowered". They are androids made to hunt down mutants and super-powered individuals. The main characters were (pardon the pun) "lost in character" as it were.
Well they undergo a Heel–Face Turn and want to help those being hunted - of course they are working uphill. Mutants and superheros see the "kids" as dangerous at best or suspect that they are being lured into a trap. Super villains just want to blast them or worse.
And the No Such Agency that created them really wants their property back...

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48A setting where people have access to powers that give them control over a given concept. Where sufficient use of their powers would make them gods of said concept. By which point their personality and memories are erased and their physical form becomes aethereal Humanoid Abominations that may or may not have humanity's best interests at heart and are fighting other gods with the same powers and thus the same concepts for supremacy. In the midst of it all are people trying to prevent new divinities form being "born" and keeping those powers in check. These are their stories.
A premise inspired by The Executioner And Her Way Of Life and arguably Puella Magi Madoka Magica that serves to deconstruct the ideas of apotheosis and godhood.

an Unwanted Harem where a guy with an Absurd Phobia of wishing becomes the master of at minimum 3 genies. A nice one, a Tsusanderie, and a stupid one maybe he gets a couple of more harem members that are not actually Genies but still grant wishes and one that tries to help him Rules Lawyer the genies.

Going back to my one with the comment this Quote from Ice Age: The Meltdown seems fitting especially if it is a Black Comedy like how I picture it.
- Hero: We're gonna live!
- [zoom out to see stuff on fire, The Apunkalypse outfits, In-progress Looting and Wario]
- Hero: We're gonna die!

How about a slice-of-life story about a message board where it satirizes internet culture while having character development and internet history?
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."A punisher-like vigilante hunts down villains, not to kill them, but to forcefully convert them to normalcy through a unique form of mind-control/brainwashing. The heroes and society are put in a moral conundrum where they must ask themselves if the vigilante has a point and should they even stop said vigilante.

The Final NameSword Art Online, but with better characters
Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behindThere's an entire genre for that.
Award-winning screenwriter. Directed some movies. Trying to earn a Creator page. I do feedback here.A courtroom drama where a lawyer finds a genie in a bottle. He immediately uses his first wish to free the genie (rather than make all his wishes un-fuck-with-able), then they sue the evil sorceror for wrongful imprisonment.
One serial killer kidnaps another. They start planning their games around each others.
No, they don't fall in love.

Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!For a given definition of "Better"
A traditional horror movie...but in a cyberpunk future where the ghosts are virtual and the zombies are more cybernetics enhanced than walking dead.
How about a sports anime... based around air hockey.
You keep using the term "POV". I do not think it means what you think it means.I see you air hockey and raise you one focused on Rhythm Games.
How bout this pitch?
A mecha story...focused on the engineers instead of the pilots.
Didn't they do that before?
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."An Anime where the protagonist is a doctor/vet who has to treat all the anime heroes (and some villains) along with all the hybrid creatures.
Lovestruck everyman gives his catgirl wife something that makes her sick? Alien child living on Earth has the flu? The engineer who got her leg broken when her Giant Mecha took a bad tumble? The Old Master need to have his medical checkup and have that wart on his back looked at?
This doctor is the one they call.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48What's it called?
I dunno, that's up to whoever wants it.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48How much of this premise work for a Alt-History Soulslike game?
"An airborne virus released in 1989 by the Russians during the Soviet–Afghan War infects millions of people worldwide, turning them into winged, gargoyle creatures. Modern technology is wiped out. As one of the unaffected humans, you must hunt the infected humans if you are to survive."
I do not know. I thought it existed.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."A world in which most of its gods have died, resulting in mass chaos and destruction that humanity has to survive in.

Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behindAn Sci-fi Mystery where several kids end up in a mental link. With the focus initially being on the ramifications of them knowing each other's secrets and thoughts before shifting to them trying to find a way to not lose themselves as it threatens to fuse them into a Hive Mind. The Mystery part coming from them trying to find out where this mental link came from in the first place.

I think that can work even better if the kids are from different parts of the world.
Maybe the POV charter is somebody who came out of this kinda unscathed, maybe he managed to develop a genuinely loving taboo romance and set his boss's favorite car on fire but he might be able to get his own life back to normal. Was I supped to say I was picturing this as a Black Comedy?
