An Alpha Bitch in high school has it all, including a Girl Posse. She loves ruling high school and making life hell for the nerds, goths, emos etc.

Only it turns out to all be a lie - she's an android built by her "father". Her creator seems to be evasive as to why she was built. Even her friends are fake -one is another android, the others are actually spies sent by her "father".

Then the buyers come to examine her.

She has to turn to the nerds and others outcasts she tormented to unlock her abilities and break free before her father sells her to the highest bidder.

Story idea I had:

A bunch of teens go through the vaguely stereotypical "get sent to future accidentally and get powers" storyline, but everything gradually goes south and they all die.

Then it restarts. The protagonist of the first arc remembers.

Repeat.

A fantasy series about a zoologist travelling across their fantasy world to discover and document all sorts of new magical creatures.^note In other words, basically what I wanted Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to be.

Okay, I was listening to "End of the World" from a bad game with a fantastic soundtrack and just idly thinking of my characters fighting illusionary versions of the ones who had died in a hall made of mirrors but I like some of this dialogue too much not to share it somewhere.

"You're always doing what needed. Yet somehow, you're never the one who suffers. Kara and Clyde, me and Aiko, Aimee and Masako- never you. I'm glad this place is made of mirrors- you'll finally have to witness the consequences for your actions."

"Oh, that's right. How could I have forgotten? Poor Tsukasa, who was always there for you. Tsukasa, who sacrificed herself to save you. Tsukasa.... who you HATED."

Anyway, that's all. Feel free to spin the mood of those off something.

Some ideas:

• The protagonist is a closeted transgirl living in a No Woman's Land (or a closeted transman living in a Lady Land).
• An Attention Whore who had no previous knowledge of the fourth wall discovers it and immediately performs a Hostile Show Takeover.
• A video game where you battle, and your character's emotions influence your stats (eg - if your character is angry, they get a damage bonus).
• A story set in The New '10s written as though it's a Futuristic Sci-Fi story (written in, say, The '50s)
• A Point-and-Click Game where some of the objects you find can be used to temporarily play other character's memories.
  • When viewing memories, the game's format changes depending on the character you got the memories from. For example, playing the memories of a blind character could be in the form of a text adventure.
• A society that has a regular slave trade. It's common practice to brainwash slaves into having the Happiness in Slavery mentality. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to slaves becoming obsessed with their masters.
  • It's a niche market, but people do sell slaves who haven't been brainwashed. People usually buy them either to avoid their slaves going crazy or because that's what they like in slaves.

I know I might get comparisons made my way but ....I had this idea recently about a young girl who's searching for her grandmother after she got lost in sea. She finds out she was sucked into a vortex that lead to the sea of mazes, a underwater labyrinth where the hidden civilizations of lemuria, Atlantis, and mu lie in.....and the girl turns out to have alantiean blood in her.

A classic "Freaky Friday" Flip story where a boy and a girl swap bodies.

The twist? They go back to normality halfway through the story; the girl is happy, the boy is not, as he discovered he felt way more comfortable, and he might be transgender.

So, first act a wacky teen comedy, second half a deconstruction of gender tropes.

I had a very sweet and romantic idea for a short story or bonus chapter recently. In November of 2185, Demetrios and Princess Lily are going to do something really fantastically amazing and special to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his becoming a ghost and her becoming an angel.

Pinkie Pie and flugelhorns are a bad combination.

Though I wouldn't describe rom-coms/wacky mishaps as being my speciality, if I was doing it I would have both of them be trans, and thus want to re-reverse the switch, and have to appeal to some kind of Celestial Bureaucracy to get back into a body that the yare comfortable with. That's just my two cents.

@Taira Mai30th is that idea up for grabs? Though I might modify to a tokusatsu inspired idea.

A story that starts out as a generic war story, the protagonist a squad leader trying to fight off insurgents in a town. Everything starts normal until at the halfway, after the insurgents were all killed, the corpses start to get reanimated, and the whole story shifts from a war story into a horror story about defenseless soldiers fleeing from a group of otherworldly Necromancers who can flip upon the dead, the very last thing you'd expect to appear in a war story.

Since the heroes are only trained to fight insurgents and they have no clue of what a necromancer is and what a reanimated corpse is, there's no way a group of mortal men who are only trained to kill living humans can deal with borderline immortal beings, nor do they have any experience of fighting against them.

As soon as they run out of ammo trying to fight of the reanimated corpses, they become the hopeless preys in a slasher film, getting picked off one by one until the protagonist is the only left, and he gets a good look of how those necromancers look like, they look so alien to the point it become ambiguous whether they are even humans to begin with. No matter how many remaining shots he fired, they're just plain immune to gunfire, and he gets skinned and stripped to a pile of bones with a embalming knife in the bloodiest manner.

Needlessly to say, these otherworldly foes have won without any effort, and they would continue look after another hopeless victim. Their motivations are also ambiguous. Are they looking for souls to eat? Or feeding on corpses they gathered up? Or just plain too weird for human mind? No one can tell.

Recently I had an idea for a later volume that involved the mythology of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. There's just one part I'm a bit muddled over. Would there still be bad blood between King Arthur and Sir Lancelot, considering the incident with Queen Guinevere?

I have an idea to write a High School DXD / Shin Megami Tensei crossover. It would feature two original characters, one for SMT and one for Dx D. I was thinking to title it "High School Dx D/Shin Megami Tensei: Demon Vessel". Why? You'll understand soon enough.

For now, I could guarantee that Shin Megami Tensei characters from both Devil Survivor games, Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Apocalypse and Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha would make an appearance, with some of them taking an active role in the story. I'm not sure about SMT 1, 2, Nocturne and Persona. For that, I would need some additional help.
All characters from High School Dx D are guarantee to appear.

The story would follow the Record Breaker ending from Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker. The world was free from the Administrators, but mystical beings like Angels, Demons and such still exists. As a result, JP's is founded in this world as well and once again they take upon themselves to protect humanity. Chiefs Yamato and Miyako Hotsuin are in charge of the organization.
In the aftermath of the Tokyo Lockdown (known in the Heaven and Underworld as War of Bel), Yamato decided to enlist the aid of Devil Summoners from Kuzunoha Clan to help JP's protect Japan and all of humanity from the supernatural threats. One of them is Shinji Ebihara, a newly appointed Geirin Kuzunoha XXIII and the titular "Demon Vessel".
Shinji is called "Demon Vessel" because he can borrow power from demons that he willingly allow to possess his body with almost no side effects (aside from borrowing some character tics from them, for ex. he will borrow Jack Frost's Verbal Tic). His body is currently possessed by Tyrant Amon, with whom Shinji had to make a contract to save them both from dying.

Shinji is sent by Yamato to Kuoh Academy to pose as a new transfer student to investigate supernatural activity (and prevent a possible repeat of War of Bel) and find one of the Longinus before someone else does...
The story will follow the events of High School Dx D, but with an added Shin Megami Tensei flair. You can expect Demon Negotiations, conflict between Chaos and Law (albeit toned down a couple of notches), battle with Fiends and more. There will be some original story arcs, as well as new locations, including the Dark Realm and Cathedral of Shadows.

Some characters will undergo some changes in this crossover story. Some will receive Age Lift, Adaptational Badass moments or receive Spared by the Adaptation treatment (or in some cases, all of the above). Let's list them out:
Shinji's wards:

• Nanashi - In this story, he's seventeen and he's a student of Kuoh Academy. He still dies to Adramelech and is resurrected by Dagda, but he manages to injure Adramelech before going down. He'll specialize in Gun and Support skills;
• Asahi - Like Nanashi, she's seventeen and a student of Kuoh Academy. She will not die to Shesha like in Apocalypse and will be a much more capable Demon Tamer thanks to Shinji's guidance. Not only her demons always obey her, she can also use Light and Dark spells in combat;
• Hallelujah - Like Nanashi and Asahi, he's seventeen and a student of Kuoh Academy. In addition to Megidolaon, True Agidyne and True Bufudyne, he will also learn from his father True Zandyne and True Ziodyne. He still has his demon Chironnupu;
• Toki - Like in canon, she's an assassin working for Cult of Gaea. Unlike in canon, she's seventeen and attends Kuoh Academy as a transfer student. She was sent by the Cult to eliminate Issei and Rias, but is stopped by Nanashi. She eventually defects to Nanashi's side and joins JP's. Toki will receive a powerful weapon from a demon (I was thinking of Fiend Matador), which can rival the power of a Longinus.
  
  Devil Survivor 2 cast:
• Hibiki Kuze - He kept most of his endgame demons and can use more spells and passive skills as a result of the vastly improved Demon Summoning Program. He can also channel Dragon Stream like in anime. There is a possibility, that he may had kept a fraction of his power after skill cracking Canopus' 4 Factors;
• Miyako Hotsuin - Like Hibiki, she received an improved version of Demon Summoning Program and kept her endgame demons. She can still use Dragon Stream to the same effect like in the previous world. Miyako also received additional resistances: Null Light and Dark and Resist Gun.
• Yamato Hotsuin - Received improved version of Demon Summoning Program, kept his endgame demons, received additional resistances in repelling Light and Dark, and kept his ability to command Dragon Stream.
• Alcor - Although no longer a Septentrione, he kept most of his powers. He created a better version of Demon Summoning Program (one close to SMT 4: Apocalypse version) with Naoya and Steven.
  
  Devil Survivor 1 cast:
• Kazuya Minegishi - He's the King of Bel, who sided neither with neither faction. He decided to remain neutral, but will join the side of humanity if a war between supernatural factions would broke out. Because of his ability to command legions of demons, he's The Dreaded to almost everyone, maybe even more so than the Fiends;
• Naoya - After Tokyo Lockdown was lifted and he was arrested, he created a better version of Demon Summoning Program for JP's with Alcor and Steven.
  
  High School Dx D characters:
• Raynare - She will survive her canonical death and return even stronger, becoming one of the more formidable antagonists in the story. But, her rivalry with Rias and Issei will be transferred to Shinji. These two had history. After all, because of her Shinji had to make that contract with Amon in the first place...
• Rias' Peerage - Each member will gain additional skills, making them more versatile. For example, Asia will learn support skills like Rakukaja, Tarunda and Doping.
• Sona's Peerage - At a special request from Rias, Shinji will put them through special training, resulting in them being close to Rias and Peerage's power level in later story arcs.
  
  

I'm still thinking how to involve Shin Megami Tensei 4 quarter (Flynn, Isabeau, Walter and Jonathan) and the rest of Devil Survivor 1 and 2 casts in the story. Those original arcs might help.

Lastly, let us talk about those two original characters:

• Shinji Ebihara (SMT)- Like mentioned before, he's Geirin Kuzunoha XXIII and the titular Demon Vessel. His ability may feel like summoning a Persona, but it differs from it. He can either allow a demon to possess his body so he can use their skills or summon them to help him, either in battle or investigations.
  Personality-wise, Shinji is an energetic young man, who loves his job as a Devil Summoner. He enjoys fighting demons, negotiating with them or simply interacting with them. He's an expert when it comes to SMT demons, so her fills the role of Mr. Exposition in that field. Although it is not seen at a first glance, he takes his role as Geirin Kuzunoha very seriously. He will not hesitate to eliminate any threat to humanity, even if he had to sacrifice his own life.
  He has a friendly relationship with Amon, as Amon used to be his master's demon. Although Amon tries from time to time to corrupt Shinji into becoming a Devil, he does this out of genuine desire to help him realize his true potential. He also maintains an amicable relationships with other demons he recruited or fused. Shinji is unusually fond of Jack Frost.
  Shinji is on a good terms with both Rias' and Sona's Peerages and often offers to train their members. His only terms are that they won't harm any humans, or else he will wipe them out (he can back up those words). He sometimes grows tired of Issei's perverted side, but he is a great friend to him nonetheless. Shortly after an incident with Adramelech, he took upon himself to train Asahi in Demon Taming and keep an eye on Nanashi, or more specifically, Dagda. While he appreciates Hibiki and Miyako's company, he dislikes how Miyako keeps reminding him of his screw-ups with securing Booster Gear and Twilight Healing for humanity (Hibiki and Miyako were sent to Kuoh Academy as reinforcements, to ensure no more failures like that happen). In response, Shinji teases Miyako about her feelings for Hibiki to no end. A very bad idea, as when Miyako is pushed enough, she would whipped Shinji into submission.
  Combat-wise, Shinji is as dangerous like Dante in Nocturne. The very thought of him fighting seriously can unnerve even experienced combatants. Shinji uses a katana and a revolver to fight demons. He can summon up to 2 demons at a time and can have 14 demons on stand-by (without counting Amon). He can utilize basic Combo Moves with his demons, like imbue his bullets or sword with magic, giving them elemental attribute. Until Shinji grows stronger, he can't summon Amon into battle. For now, he's limited into drawing his power from being possessed by him. Amon gives him access to Mudoon, Megido Flame (Maragidyne + Rakunda), Madness Nails (all hitting Heavy Phys attack) and Poison Breath (a reference to Amon's lore, where summoner had to wear a silver ring on his middle finger to not die to Amon's deadly breath). Amon may learn new moves once Shinji is able to summon him into battle.
• Rei Namikawa (HSDXD)- A Devil and a member of Sona's Peerage. She is the first Devil Shinji made contact when he arrived at Kuoh Academy. She was a normal human girl and a student at Kuoh Academy, but was killed by a Wendigo. She was rescued by Sona by reincarnating her into a Devil. She's now a Pawn in her peerage. After Shinji revealed he's Geirin Kuzunoha XXIII, both Rias and Sona agreed to assign Rei as his guide in Kuoh Academy.
  Personality-wise, Rei is a kind yet slightly shy girl, who is deeply loyal to Sona for saving her life. She can be fiercely protective of her King and the rest of her peerage. She is tired of the Perverted Trio's antics and will respond violently in any of them tries to peep on her. On the other hand, she appreciates how Shinji is not a pervert and often chats with him. She is on a friendly terms with Rias' Peerage, especially Koneko. She once admitted, that if she was ever traded to a different peerage, she wouldn't mind if it was Rias' peerage.
  Combat-wise, Rei is not to be underestimated. Despite being a Low-Class Devil, her magical prowess in on par with High-Class Devils. She has access to Wind, Ice and Almighty and Support-type magic. Her unique spell is Hellish Blizzard, a powerful Ice spell that can be summarized as much stronger version of Glacial Blast. She also has Shield All and both Tetrakarn and Makarakarn at her disposal, making her good at defending her comrades.
  
  

Before I end this post, let me explain certain things:

• Both Gaeans and Messians exist in this universe. Cult of Gaea is ruled by a woman named Lilith and they have connections within Devil faction. Messians are retconned into Exorcists. Members, who are devoted to their mission and pure of heart had an opportunity to speak to the leaders of Heaven faction. Both factions can summon demons, but they are limited to their respective alignments - Gaeans to Chaos and Exorcists to Law.
• JP's and Kuzunoha Clan are the main representatives of Neutral alignment in the story.
