Many songs that don't have blatantly clear lyrics often have a meaning that isn't immediately obvious. Like Exile Vilify. It's about a simple question:

"Why? Why did this misfortune happen to me?"

The title track of The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking still throws me a little within context of the album.

I'm not sure whether to take it literally, or if it's trying to insert some more day-dream/hallucinatory ideas into the story. Consdering the rest of the album is pretty straightforward, it's weird this one track eludes me.
