Do they even still acknowledge Duck Tales's existence anymore?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Yeah, I was kind of interested until I read this.
The roles of Chip and Dale will be played by Chippendale dancers.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Ducktales Remastered.

I thought that was a grassroots project from fans that happened to gain steam and official recognition.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.No crowdfunding of any sort that I can recall.
A lot of requests to do something with the NES game over the years, though.
I have no worries. I mean, when it comes to Disney live-action movies, their films are mainly at least average, only a few are truly bad. I mean, say what you will about Prince of Persia, but I fucking loved that film, and I didn't think that John Carter was really that bad, average, yes, but not bad.
Signatures are for lamers.Eh, average is pretty much the average for Disney's live action films, but it usually doesn't go much beyond that.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.In this era and how willing Disney is to whore itself out to get money, I wouldn't be supprised.
I just hope the movie uses that kick ass awesome theme song to set the 90's kids mood. Or this'll be like Neverending story III, IDK.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceThey'll be born to be wild, then?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Or worse they'll start shadow dancing.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceMan, I loved that show.
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersY'know what this'll mean? It will lead to the enevitable Gargoyals live-action film staring Steven Segal.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice*The Bee Gees. Also, that's an Andy Gibb solo song, not a Bee Gees song.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I always thought it was a Bee Gees number, oh well, still would kill the movie if they try something like that. Or add a PSY OR JUSTIN BEIBER SONG FOR MARKET DEMOGRAPHIC!!! AHHHH!!!

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt's all good.
I think that we could probably all agree that lazy pop culture jokes bog movies down usually.
Also, I'm pretty sure that there's no demographic to appeal to with those two artists anymore, aside from K-pop fans (no one else really cares about PSY anymore) and people who don't follow the news or even just pop culture in general.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.In the past, I couldn't relate to all the pain other people felt when their childhoods were being destroyed.
But now I can.
My angry rant blog!We haven't even gotten a trailer yet. Not even a plot synopsis.
That show cannot be made now, in the 21st Century; it was a product of its time. In addition to that, CG? Live action?
Plus, you seem to be overly optimistic about everything. You should try being negative about something for once. The world seems much more real once you do.

My angry rant blog!I think I only saw the show once or twice, but it's encouraging to see Disney acknowledging properties that they've shunned in the past. Whether it will end well is another thing.
Looking for some stories?Considering that people born after the show ended can still enjoy it today, I rather doubt there was anything particularly magical about it being made in the, what, late eighties, early nineties?
Heh. Last year I was unfairly fired from my job five days after Christmas. I spent almost exactly a year trying to find another job while having to keep a wife and four kids alive in addition to scrabbling together money to pay the mortgage so we all didn't end up on the street. Things are a bit better now, obviously.
I have a very good grasp of how real the world actually is, rather than how real it seems, and this knowledge has given me the perspective needed to not flip out over a movie that hasn't even been filmed yet.

But how good could it be?
Burn.
Nostalgia Filter I think applies here, there wasn't anything magical about the series and it for it's time and it could be made today without much fuss. Personally I'd like to see it return and I'm staying optimistic this thing's going to be at least decent.

On one hand, I'd be really excited to see this as a movie. On the other...comparisons to the recent Alvin and the Chipmunks and Smurf movies make me nervous. But apparently, Disney has accepted a pitch for a movie to be made. Which is interesting because Disney seems to despise every Disney Afternoon cartoon not called Duck Tales.
