I think this new development with Killer Frost is pretty cool, especially when she interacts with people from Caitlin's life, though the fact that Frost straight up isn't interested in bringing Caitlin out at all is interesting.
Even Caitlin let Frost out sometimes outside of dangerous situations, but Frost isn't switching to Caitlin even when they need a doctor. It reminds of how Earth's Mightiest Heroes interpreted Hulk, where he and Banner had a deal where Banner gets to exist for like one day a month. Period. Though in that case, it was implied that Hulk had a decent degree of Banner's knowledge.
I keep half expecting the dramatic plot twist down the line to be that Frost somehow accidentally buried Caitlin's personality so deep they can't get her back, with the required My God, What Have I Done? yadda yadda, putting Frost on the other side of the plot that Caitlin kept getting for the last two seasons.

I like that Frost is in charge now; she has a more abrasive personality than Caitlin's, but she's also more interesting. I loved her speech about how she never had a birthday party and I love that Barry threw one for her at the end of the episode. Plus, eyeball snake metahuman guy came back! Although I guess he isn't a metahuman anymore.
So: Nash Wells is looking for Eternium. In the comics, this is a magical substance that the Rock of Eternity is made from, but Wells claims not to believe in magic. But he's also the Indiana Jones expy, so...I guess he thinks Eternium should be in a museum? In any case, we might be seeing the Rock of Eternity and/or Shazam, which would be nice.
I'll only accept the Monster Society of Evil if the full roster is there.
Because the full roster of the Monster Society of Evil includes the entire Axis Powers.
Now that is a super villain team. Maybe have them be from Earth X or something.
One Strip! One Strip!I think this might be my favorite episode of The Flash since that "Flashtime" episode.
That said I did skip most of Season 5 and jumped right to the 3rd episode of the current season. Still, seeing how far Frost and Barry have come was fascinating.
Liked the theme Barry and Ramsey had, dealing with their impending deaths in their own way, defiance and acceptance.
EDIT: Wait. I'm pretty sure the pipeline was designed so that a speedster couldn't freaking get out of it. And yet Romero just shattered it - have they really never had a person with superhuman strength in there?

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!

By the way, here is the map of the multiverse that Jay created.
You can see various Easter eggs, including Earth-38 being the home of Supergirl and Superman, one Earth being destroyed in 1986 (the year of the original Crisis), the name Thaddeus Brown
(the original Mister Miracle), and "Antimatter signature detective" with an arrow pointing towards Earth-2.
