no ones talking about the flash blowing their budget for the rest of the season with grodd vs king shark tonight
Guess they were too blown away by Joe's return.
Jokes aside, I'm really happy we a got full fight. No matter what else happens this season I'll be content with that.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I was hoping to see Joe and terrified I was looking at death flags.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I admit, I'm a little worried about Joe.
That being said, Cicada has been pretty consistent in not attacking normal humans. Even when he took Iris, it was purely to use her as bait to lure out others. It was the same with coming after Joe.
One Strip! One Strip!Eric Wallace is going to be the new showrunner as of Season 6.
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyInteresting.
I've been enjoying this season, but it still feels like the show is treading water. They should have defeated Cicada in the 100th episode and then moved on to a different villain. And while Season 3 and 4 had some good episodes, overall, they were a mess.
Wow, when things go wrong for these guys, they go wrong with style huh?
You convince Cicada to take the cure, nullify his powers, and who shows up to ruin your fun?
Motherfucking Future Cicada!!!!
I'm impressed Team Flash. You botched things, and you did it in a spectacular manner.
...I blame Nora.
Now the only question left is how did she even come back?
One Strip! One Strip!I love that this was an actually tense episode and nobody did anything wrong and yet they still lost because of something outside their control.
Also, if you see the preview for next week's episode, you'll see that Future Grace probably came back in a time machine like that one Thawne had built in Season One. So perhaps Thawne sent her to the future, too, like Nora, and told her exactly when to strike?
You think Thawne is playing both sides? I mean, I can buy it. I can even figure out the reason: he does love fucking with Barry.
One Strip! One Strip!Brilliant episode. My guess: Kid-Grace is gonna be the key to defeat Future-Grace.
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianIt's funny. Both Supergirl and Flash are doing big "the archenemy shows himself" episodes in the span of one week.
You know, I hadn't thought of that. Nice that they finally nailed that. They've always had a problem with Diabolus ex Machina, but this one feels like it was set up and executed pretty well.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, like "A future version of Cicada's niece who also became a killer comes back in time to stop the operation" is so far out there, that it's not something that anyone would have guessed. And yet it still works because a) they already foreshadowed that Grace would turn into Future Cicada and b) it's The Flash. Time travel is gonna fuck up everybody.
I keep remembering last season, where Devoe would just... not lose, for reasons that were never set up, practically no reason at all. Or even earlier this season, where Cicada would do the same.
This actually feels like a nice plot twist that was built up well.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, Devoe was just a Villain Sue all around.
apparently is a few episodes we are gonna get Godspeed. His costume looks sweet too
In another season I would've been happy, but why now? Already so much going on. Save it for next Season.

Welp, things keep blowing up in people's faces.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’
And now I'm starting to get the joke.
The episode is even called Time Bomb.
Well, somebody get the slowpoke picture. I deserve it.
One Strip! One Strip!Oh man. Oh damn. This episode was good.
First: I'm glad that Barry finally explained that keeping secrets is bad. Like, he and everyone around him should totally know that from the fact that they kept so many secrets at first. And it always blew up in their faces. But hey, Nora is her father's daughter, so she had to do the same.
And man, did it blow up in her face. When she's begging Sherloque to stop talking, god, that's when you start feeling for her. And of course Barry would lock her in the Pipeline — Thawne is his one big blindspot, the one person he absolutely hates. Which is what makes what Thawne did so masterful — he manipulated the one person that would cause Barry the most pain.
We still don't actually know why Thawne did this...or do we?
I miss a few minutes here and there, so if he said I just helped you to fuck with your dad's head, and I knew this would all go pear shaped, then yeah. That's Thawne.
One Strip! One Strip! He might have also directed/helped Grace get his Time Sphere and go back in time. Back in Season 1 (and in Legends of Tomorrow), the Time Sphere does need a speedster to power it up to travel through time. So it's either Thawne or Godspeed; the real question is why Grace would work with them.
Also: Nora's journal entries are hilarious.◊ Apparently, in the future, Subway is a yoga empire, there's a Chicken Plague, and Game of Thrones doesn't actually end in 2019.
IIRC, we got a couple last season. They just all died, because network television logic is "screw introducing interesting one-shot characters without killing all of them for tension" I guess.
The musician Ralph fell for but who sadly was not Sue Dibny is the first to come to mind.
