I did not expect half the trailer to be a showcase of other films. Oh well.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

Considering that their last few movies have been met with their fair share of ambivalence (MU being the most positive of the bunch) I don't blame them for wanting to remind people of all the stellar stuff they've done.

Did anyone see Brave or Cars 2 clips in that trailer?? I didn't! Tells ya something...

Actually, they did show a clip or two from Brave.

Mostly it was stuff with Elinor, so I think Pixar has a pulse on who most fans liked more.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great

I did link to it earlier, but you used the video code so it's better.

[up]True true. And I'm sure those mind guys will be hard at work once November comes. tongue

Anyway, that trailer is like Trailers Always Spoil The PIXAR saga. Also, does anyone else get a very Bee Movie esque feel with the headquarters colors?

Nice teaser trailer. I am now very excited, instead of mildly excited. Consider me hyped.

[up][up] I was expecting something a little darker, to be honest.

That is to say, more shadows and what not. I have no idea what sort of tone the finished product will take.

That was a cute little teaser. Though, I find it funny that we saw more footage of previous Pixar films than the movie itself [lol]

guess they don't want to spoil!

MY feelings with the character Fear are right, I'm liking him already. Despite him being a fearful character, he seems to be sometimes smiling.

I think Fear will be played much more like Rex rather than a straight up coward. So very nervous with low self esteem.

Of course all the emotions are gonna have emotions other than their name!! Otherwise they wouldn't be dimensional characters. I'm interested to know what their judgments are when using the other emotions, and how they govern them.

I'm NOT at all understanding why so many people are saying the character designs are bad. ... what?? Are they not looking really closely at them?? They have textures never before used on CGI characters. They're supposed to harken back to the abstract, UPI style that Disney adapted under Ward Kimball, chiefly!

Of course all the emotions are gonna have emotions other than their name!! Otherwise they wouldn't be dimensional characters.
But then you have to imagine that all of their emotions are little people inside their heads, and it becomes one infinite homunculus theory!

Shows like Family Guy and Glove And Boots made that joke already. :D

At any rate, it's like the Ponies each representing one Element of Harmony, yet they can also go against them at times.
