Streets near the Blue Dragon
Having wrapped her arm around the ship, Riza squeezed. At the same time, she caused the spikes — curved and nasty-looking — to erupt from her pinned arm, most likely causing them to penetrate the chimp's feet and lower body.
Then she heard Angelo's shout. She looked around and noticed the Bananimal growing some muscles. She quickly flicked her braid around, seeking to dispatch the chimp in her grasp so she could turn her attention to Bananimal. “Hey, Luchador person, that's a supervillain we're talking about! Not some crook!” she shouted back.

With not much of a chance to avoid it, Riza's spikes went right into the chimp. Bleeding badly, it let out a cry of anguish that was quickly drowned out by the sound of a torrent of water that was now engulfing it and the shapeshifter.
Over on the hydrant, the Bananimal was holding a severed cap from the hydrant triumphantly over his head as the now-damaged firefighting device shot out gallon after gallon of water.

Spluttering, Riza did the only thing she could; throwing the chimp away (and leaving the spikes embedded in it) she jumped out of the water's way. She spared a look at her clothes and blanched before reddening with rage; while they had some artful designs on them already, thanks to some splattered snakes, now they were both soiled and a little too see-through for comfort.
“Hey, monkey person?” she said, her voice low, “you really don't know how to treat a lady, do you now?”
With that, she flung a flurry of spikes toward him before shortening her arms to a normal size and rushing forward.

Amaterasu made her way back to Vigil quickly, on her way back, she caught the smell of burnt wood and plastic. "Odd, I didn't see any of that stuff when I was scoping the place out." She muttered to herself. When she reached Vigil's dog, she took hold of the cable and did as she was asked. "It smells like someone tried to burn something in here." She said to Vigil after finding a good point of access. "But there doesn't seem to be anything charred nearby."

She nodded before checking the patch again to see how it was holding up. "Try to stay inside," Durga said to Natasya, then she ran after the Witchfinder. She skidded to a stop where Jessica was now hovering. Right outside of the museum doors was the man with the crossbow, laying on the ground unmoving.
"Is he still alive?" Durga asked.
Alannah, near the Blue Dragon.
Panting with exertion, Alannah looked around the street for the first time since the chimps had appeared, taking in the various slumped forms of their attackers, the hole in the wall nearby, and the shape-shifting woman still grappling with one of the primates. finger-combing hair out of her face (Memo to self - wear ponytail next time), she was about to go help the other super when she heard - and felt - the cocoon breaking. She whirled around to see the Bananimal behind her, sending her scrambling back a few steps.
"Oh, crap." She muttered, backing away further as the villain started going completely mental, buffing up in a matter of seconds and screaming. Meanwhile, yet another cape arrived on the scene, firing a shot at the bananimal and only making him madder, prompting him to rip open the fire hydrant and attack the shifter-lady. Alannah whirled on Angelo, scowling and shouting over the sound of rushing water.
"Look, argue about it later, OK? let's just deal with this maniac." She looked up at the masked super, sprouting a fresh batch of tendrils from the ground around her. "Help me get closer, I grab him, you punch him! Sound good?"
Vigil, warehouse
"Hmm. Odd. I didn't pick up any heat sources besides the servers. Be careful." Vigil set the watchdog to give the warehouse another thorough scan, looking for any new infrared signatures. Once Ammy plugged her in the AI started to infiltrate the server farm, beefing up her own signal's security at the same time.
Levi's phone
"Hello, Mr Issac." Vigil replied. "I do have those addresses, and I'm keeping some of them monitored as we speak. I'd like to have a fuller picture of what's going on before I make a move on this group. I don't like how widespread they seem to be. How are you at infiltration?"
"As for the city, there are multiple situations. A bank robbery, an attack on a political fundraiser, yet another incident at the museum... business as usual, I'm afraid. I'm not sure if there's anything close enough for you to deal with, camera coverage out where you are is very sparse."
"Oh, and by the way," She added, her accented voice gaining a reproachful edge. "Was it really necessary to loot that poor man's belongings?"

Robert stared morosely into his empty coffee-cup and waited in agony for the Q&A portion of the event to begin. Privately, he swore to himself never to attend another political banquet for anyone less than a sitting President.

"The maximum that fall would have done is severly injure, but nothing near the level required to kill someone." Jesse James spoke in a robotic, male voice, tapping the side of her helmet. "Scanning for life signs. Civillian, you should retreat to a safer place. Inform authorities of the occasion."
The Warehouse
The moment Amaterasu went to plug Vigil in, a heat signal appeared out of nowhere on the latter's scan. Standing on the far end of the server farm corridor was a giant hulk of a man, wearing traditional Egyptian clothes and sporting a head resembling that of Ra, the egyptian god. He clenched his fists, grinning before opening his mouth, as Vigil's scan went haywire, a 'small sun' growing inside of Mad King Ra's mouth before a ray of burning sunlight flew out of it, burning anything on its path towards Amaterasu.
Vigil, warehouse
Vigil's awareness was pinged by an alarm as her sensors caught the new signature through the warehouse walls, distressingly close to her comrade.
"Ammy, contact!" She reported urgently, as the heat source blossomed and almost overloaded her IR sensors. She shut them down and switched to x-ray backscatter... only the radiation from inside was playing havoc with that too. Damnit...
"My sensors are down, I can't give you overwatch in there!"
Alannah, with Rey
"What, would you rather he get awa-" Alannah bit her tongue and clenched her fists, suppressing the flare of temper. "Fine. I wasn't planning on killing it anyway. Funnily enough, I didn't enjoy doing it earlier."
With that, she turned and started to stalk towards the Bananimal, skirting around the fight and shrouding herself in her glass tendrils, hoping to blend in with the evening gloom and get behind the supervillain.

"I am not a civilian," Durga said, looking at Jessie James with suspicion. "The police are already coming anyway." She ignored the hero's advice and turned back to the man lying on the street. She took the disc blade off her belt and slowly approached the unmoving law breaker, wary of any sudden moves.

Less than a minute after Durga arrived on the scene, Natasya came up to the doors of the main entrance to the museum, still carrying a partially used fire extinguisher.
Leaning out, from the doorway a couple of feet behind Durga, she glanced about taking in the situation before settling her gaze on the two heroes in the situation.
"So, I put the fire out...Is he dead?" Natasya matter-of-factly asked.
While it wasn't a subject she intended on bringing up to these two heroes, she wouldn't mind the man's corpse ending up on her examination table; a good portion of the villains and vigilantes tended to be baseline human, but some had more exotic anatomies for research.

Her charge checked by the stream of water, Riza rolled out of the way. Noticing that Angelo challenged the Bananimal, she crouched down. She had an idea, and immediately set upon preparing: she was going to fry the monkey-themed supervillain. However, such a transformation was a delicate thing, so she pulled back, already transforming her mouth and gut. This was going to take a while...

Faking his own death didn't seem to be getting Hopkins anywhere, so it looked like he'd just need to get his targets to drop their defenses. As he "struggled" to stand once again, the Witchfinder General glared at Durga and growled "Demon, I will not suffer your existence on this planet any longer. FACE ME!" With that said, Hopkins drew his sword and sluggishly swung at Durga's head.

Amaterasu saw the sun heading her way out of the corner of her eye and dodged to the side, out of the way of the ball of light and heat. "Who..?" She mumbled to herself before stepping back out to face her opponent. "...And you are?" She asked, leveling her sword at him.

"I did not steal from him. That man had died in his work and I intend to preserve the knowledge he has left behind. I believe this book may be key to uncovering some holy artifact or unearthing some secrets lying in this city. He seems to have used some archaic script so I shall need some time to decipher it. From what information I could gather, this man seems to have been researching some means on how to combine humans and horses. That, or he may have stumbled upon some genetic experiment for creating horse-women. Other than that and the shopping cart, which would not have had any use sitting up on the roof, I only confiscated the equipment on those mock Romans in order to track them down later.
"As for that other thing, I can lock down a room and take down anyone who tries walking into my zone of control. Depending on the layout of some of these places, I can make an entrance for myself without people noticing, provided they're windows or conventional locks. On the other hand, don't expect me to stay unnoticed. If you've got a place I'd like to hear it. Otherwise, I'll head back out on my own."
While still on the phone, Judge Isaac started looking around his house for his lock-picking equipment. When was the last time I used that stuff? Those were the times when he actually sneaked into people's houses and executed those who had been swayed by the Heretics. He still had his crossbow then. And his goddamn van. How long ago was that?

While the heroes prepared for whatever they were doing, the Bananimal ranted intently from the fire hydrant.

Down the Street from the Museum
A fire truck darted down the street, in response to the fire alarms at the museum. A massive vehicle, it rode up across the street from the museum and stopped for a moment.
The window rolled down, revealing the head, wolf pelt, and muscles of the man who was driving. He took one look at Natasya and her fire extinguisher, then up at the not-on-fire museum, shook his head, and rolled the window back up. Anyone nearby might have made out "...flames... bloodlust... elsewhere... cowards... Allfather..." as he rolled up the window and the fire truck drove off.

After Algernon took his reward, the rest of the guns, or sets of guns, were likewise raffled off. The majority of the items went to people in the crowd of no consequence, though Regina managed to win an unarmored tactical vest with an FN Five-seven/P90 combination, and Dr. Rossum found himself the owner of a Saiga-12.
"Well then, with that out of the way," Rail Dale said into the microphone. "It's time for dinner!"
Several waiters began to enter the area, setting plates of lobster, steaks, or veggie-ribs in front of guests.

The Bananimal did a backflip when Uniscorn fired, jumping out of harm's way, but leaving a small hole in his costume. He landed on a fire hydrant, and pointed at Uniscorn and the others, then pointed at the ground. He started to pound his fists on the hydrant, howling wildly as he did so.
