The Conductor - Ritz-Carlton Hotel

As soon as the guns started aiming in his direction, the Conduction unceremoniously dropped his food and whipped out his baton, erecting a wall of lightning to block the deluge of bullets (and lobsters) aimed his way. I forgot what barbarous troglodytes I was dealing with again... He mused.

"VERY WELL!!! I can see when I am unwanted! I shall show myself out...!!!"

He quickly retreated back into his train, lightning wall collapsing as the stairway aboard folded back inside. Within a few moments the engine roared... and the flying train began to rise, crashing against the roof above.

"...AND SHOW YOU ALL TO THE AFTERLIFE!!!"

The Conductor thus began to try and bring down the house.

Cassandra Tal - The Flying Suplex

As for herself, Cassandra was having a chat with Javier, though not with the usual seductive tone she added to everything. Just a small, casual conversation while waiting on her dessert.

"...yes, she has a cold exterior, but you could just tell my dear Beth was smiling on the inside... whatever happened to those kittens, though?"

Museum-Outside

Belinda took notice of Natasya's necklace, finding it very interesting. But she didn't comment on it at the moment.

"Well, you can tell the story inside my office. I need something to report to the police," Belinda said. "And that means you too, Durga!" Durga was about to slink away to see where Jessica was going when she was forced to stop. She growled at the museum owner, but Belinda wasn't phased.

The Bananimal let out a primal bellow as Angelo pinned him. He pressed his feet against the ground and pushed, trying to roll free.

Ritz-Carlton: Friends of the NRA Banquet and Raffle for the Council to Re-Elect Senator Stephen Strongarm
A pair of security guards ran up to Rail Dale, and started to drag him away. His hands fidgeted with the Duranstone around his neck, adjusting the fit, before he spoke. "No, I will not go willingly, I will not abandon these tax-paying citizens of my own volition, you'll have to drag me out!"

Senator Strongarm excused himself from his own security detail, pushing one of its members aside as he headed to the elevator.

The crowd itself took the opportunity of the Conductor leaving the room to stop shooting and leave, heading outside.

Grappling

Straining with all his might against the Bananimal's attempt to break free, Guerrero Rey knew that he was going to lose this test of strength if it went on too long. "Any time any of you wanna take him off my hands is fine by me!"

Alannah, Streets Near the Blue Dragon Tea Shop

"Shut up, gimme two seconds!" Alannah reached the grappling pair and thrust her hands forward. The "wave" of crystal washed over the pair, or seemed to from an outside perspective. For anyone but Alannah the stuff was still as solid as ever. The hooded girl frowned in concentration as she essentially tried to trap the Bananimal like a fly in amber, while leaving Rey room to at least breathe.

Guerrero Rey's grip held long enough for the Bananimal to be suspended in Alannah's glass, imprisoning him motionlessly inside. With the fighting over and the other chimps having run off with the Librarian while no one was looking, the street was relatively quiet now.

Aside from a few men standing across the street, wearing Hulk Hogan t-shirt of various types, and drinking a six-pack while tailgating from the back of a Ford pickup. A few of them were cheering. "Whoo! Yeah! Went apeshit on that monkey bastard!"

Angelo's grip gave out just as the crystal trap headed towards them. He shoved his simian foe inside with his shoulder, and the collapsed and let out a deep breath as the Bananimal was trapped inside. I think I'll just lay down here and die now, he thought, until...

Cheering! From the public! Suddenly, his mask filled him with energy at least enough to stand. As the realization that he just beat his first supervillain set in, he even began to pose and celebrate a bit.

"YEAH! That's how Guerrero Rey does things, amigo! WOOOOOOOOOO!"

Alannah held her breath as the trap closed around the villain, waiting for the moment when he somehow managed to break free again. After a few seconds, she sighed in relief, practically sagging as she sat down on the curb beside the imprisoned Bananimal. As an afterthought, she flicked her fingers and made a thin passage for the guy to breathe through.

At the sound of cheers from across the street, she gasped in surprise and hurriedly pulled her hood and scarf back up. "Hope someone has a way to keep this guy restrained, I don't really feel like walking him all the way to a cell." She grumbled, resting her forehead in her hands.

Guerrero Rey would suddenly feel a pair of arms wrapping around his torso. His years of fighting would make it easy for him to realize that this was some form of friendly hug, rather than an attempted suplex. If he looked back, he'd see it was the chimp from the deli trying to climb up to his shoulder.

"Woah! Okay, then. C'mon little guy, let's find you a better home." Guerrero Rey walked off with the chimp to find Henry and make sure he gets the care he needs out of the Bananimal's control.

Having spent the rest of the fight preventing a quartet of chimps from doing any harm to the Librarian, Riza let out a sigh of relief at the Bananimal's defeat. She returned to what she thought of as her default form and surveyed the damage done to her clothes. Fortunately for her, there were no tears — she made a mental note about sending a big thank-you package of tea to her tailor — but they were dirty beyond belief and had multiple stains. She rubbed her fingers on one of them and brought them up to her nose. She nearly gagged from the smell; who knew snake brains stank that badly?
Rolling her eyes, she walked back to where the Bananimal was imprisoned by Alannah's glass. Riza dug around in her pockets and found her cellphone; miraculously, it survived the beating. She dialled 911. “Hey, guys, there's an immobilised supervillain here, was attempting a bank robbery earlier. Do you mind coming to pick him up? Yes, I'll keep an eye on him until you get here. Thanks.”
She closed her phone and turned to Alannah. “RCPD say they'll be here in a few moments,” she said. “I'm Riza, by the way.” She offered Alannah her hand.

The manhole a few feet away from Riza opened up, and the two officers who were at the Blue Dragon earlier clambered out. The one in the rear was dragging something gigantic up. When he pulled it out and set it on the asphalt, it was the dead body of a thirty-foot-long mutant alligator, and definitely not King Cobra.

"Alright ma'am, I think we took care of your gator problem," the closer officer said.

Alannah looked up as the shapeshifter woman approached, calling up the police as she did. The hooded girl nodded in gratitude, shifting a bit nervously at the introduction.

"I'm... uh, not sure I want to give out my real name, and I don't actually have a codename yet. Sorry. Nice to meet you, though." She shrugged helplessly and shook the woman's hand. As the manhole cover slid aside, she jerked in surprise, a few tendrils rising up out of the glass underneath her - only to snort in disgust as the two cops from earlier emerged.

"Great job, guys." She said sarcastically, pinching the bridge of her nose. "While you were messing around shooting the wildlife, we were doing your job and catching this freak." She slapped the side of the Bananimal's prison for emphasis.

The Warehouse

Ra started charging up another blast, but stopped when Amaterasu said that the place didn't belong to her. "WHAT?!" He bellowed, gritting his teeth. "Blasphemy! I have tracked this place and watched it for weeks! You came here obviously to check on your earthly possessions... and now the wrath of Ra will befall upon you for your actions!"

The Museum

Going in through the back door, Jessica ruffled up her hair and everything else, using one of her thrusters to singe her clothes a little as she calmly walked to a random area near the scuffle (but not near enough) and feigned having been knocked out right behind an exhibit.

"Uhm, yes. Of course, we would need to get the facts straight for the authorities." Nastasya haltingly agreed. She stopped a moment, surprised by both the familiarity between Belinda and Durga, as well as the former's willingness to make demands of the latter. Thus far the tiger-woman seemed passionate, headstrong, and predisposed towards solving her problems with violence.

Taking a moment to pick up and set to the side the dropped fire extinguisher, Natasya soon followed the older woman, with a great many interesting thoughts bouncing about her mind. Mostly about the soon to arrive police. She had paid quite a bit to get her data ripped from the police's servers after the breakout, but it wasn't impossible for some shmuck of a police officer to simply recognize her from Blackgate.

Belinda smiled reassuringly. "Right, I wouldn't want you to get arrested over a misunderstanding." As they walked back to Belinda's office, Durga spotted a limb sticking out from behind a glass case.

"There's someone over there," she said, going over to investigate. She tilted her head in confusion when she saw Jessica, knocked out and possibly burnt. How could she be in two places at once?"

“I didn't know I had a gator problem,” Riza said, rubbing her neck. “Not to mention that that” — she pointed at the mutant alligator — “is not the snake-themed freak that wreaked havoc on my shop.” A pause. “If you two will please take care of this guy here” — she patted the Bananimal's prison — “I'd be ever thankful.”
That said and done, she turned her attention to Alannah again. “Don't be harsh on those guys. Imagine doing what they're doing without any superpowers, just a popgun that doesn't affect the baddies half the time and a regbook thicker than a phonebook.”

"ALRIGHT - I'M BACK BITCH-....oh, you already finished." Uniscorn began shouting with bloodlust after he had finished reloading but then stopped once he realized the Banananimal had already been gotten.

"WHOOOO!!!" Uniscorn joined the Hulk Hogan guys in celebrating, offering a high five and wondering if they would be willing to buy some drinks for a certain one horned hero.

"Indeed. More than enough confusion about, as it stands." Natasya agreed with the older woman. Looking over as Durga drew everyone's attention towards the case.

Stepping over, upon realizing that someone was in fact lying behind the case. She blinked, as she realized who it was.

"Jessica?" Natasya asked aloud. After what she had seen so far, Natasya could hazard a guess at what was going on, but wasn't really sure where Jessica stood with the others. Ultimately, she chose to simply hold her tongue.

Streets of Rail - Tyr

Deciding to ignore being called a mortal for now, Tyr hefted Brandr onto his shoulder and took a brief moment to ponder upon what he believed would be the best course of action. When he was ready, Tyr shouted "To first blood or whatever substitutes as blood for your kind. Should I prove victorious, you will submit to arrest and allow yourself to be handed over to the authorities. Should you prove victorious, I shall let you go on your way. Is this agreeable?"

Ritz-Carlton - Crackdown

Crackdown had only barely managed to duck behind cover as bullets ripped through the air around him. Noting both the evacuating civvies and the Conductor's attempts to bring the roof down, Crackdown had to make a choice between evacuating and fighting the villain. Crackdown's heroic side seemed to win that mental debate as he climbed onto a nearby banquet table (that conviently happened to be pointed in the train's general direction) and took a running leap at the Conductor's train in an attempt to latch onto it.

TFS - Angus MacBain

As Angus wandered into The Flying Suplex, he couldn't help but feel mildly jealous of the ingenious of the promotion that'd caught his interest and convinced him to swing by. Wrassle the staff and get a free meal? A brilliant way to get asses in barstools and drinks in hands as they sat and watched the staff take on the latest lad who fancied himself a badass. Angus made a mental note to run this new idea by his staff before he went out and bought a boxing ring. Without addressing anyone in particular, Angus bellowed "SO! I HEAR IF I CAN TAKE ON THE STAFF O' THIS JOINT I GET MYSELF A FREE BITE TO EAT! WHO DO I HAVE TA TALK TO TO ENGAGE IN THIS BRILLIANT PROMOTION?"

"Yeah! What she said!" the younger of the two officers said to Alannah. He reached for his radio as he planted a foot on the dead gator's back, and spoke into it. "Central, we got a 62-9 ready for delivery."

"I'll get the tow cables," the other officer said with a sigh. He went over to the parked squad car, pulled a length of cable with a hook at the end from the trunk, and headed over to the Bananimal's glassy container.

One particularly large man with a mullet returned Uniscorn's high-five, and pointed to a keg that was in the back of the truck. Besides it was a stack of bright red plastic cups.

A squad car pulled up in front of the museum, and a female officer stepped out of the driver's seat, while a man jumped out of the passenger window. The two looked around the museum for any signs of trouble, though Hopkins was long gone.

Alannah, near the Blue Dragon

The hooded girl sighed and held up her hands. "Alright, I guess that's a fair point." She said. doing her best to reign in her temper again. Seeing the cops heading towards the ensnared supervillain, she added tiredly, "By the way, that stuff will disintegrate if it gets too far away from me. Have you got any, I dunno, super-handcuffs or something?"

Vigil, warehouse

"He appears to be in an irrational, or at least unreasonable, state of mind." Vigil commented over Ammy's earpeice. "I wish we could talk him down, but we might not have much choice."

She double-checked who actually owned the warehouse, but that info probably wouldn't do much to persuade the villain. "Why are you watching this building?" She asked over her loudspeakers, hoping to at least keep him talking. "What's your quarrel with the owner?"

"Huh? Oh, good point, we sure do!" the officer said to Alannah, and ran over to the squad car. He fished around in the trunk and came back with an object in his hands. It was a roll of duct tape. "Just hold him steady and I'll get him wrapped up nice and tight for lockup."

The other officer sighed again at Alannah's words, shrugged his shoulders, and changed his path so that he wound up at the gator instead of Bananimal. He shoved the hooks into the dead animal.

"Whoa there pardner, we don't roll that way," one of the wrestling fans said to Uniscorn.

The rest of the fans simply shouted cheers at the Unicorn's proclamation and chugged their beers, then tried to lift the hero up on their shoulders in some odd sort of crowd surfing.
