Well, September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day, and September 22nd is the autumn equinox.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.![]()
Just shut up and go to school, Timothy.
Well, September doesn't need much if it's just getting oriented and setting the stage. Still, I would think to start it later in the month, so that we don't have too long of nothing- Halloween is the first event I can think of from September on. From Sept 1, that's two whole months, or eight weekends. That's sixteen days we'd have to do stuff.
EDIT: Which is currently two days for each character, minus any special days. And I would think that one set of character focus days between most events would be a pretty decent basic structure.

Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Well, events don't have to strictly take place on the weekends. Some stuff might happen at night, or in class or something.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOOh yeah. I was just thinking in terms of events we'd know of in advance... derr.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!
There are two ways we do them;
- Play the duel on Dueling Network, then RP the turn after each finished move
- A third party randomises draws and sends them to the players, then the duel is enacted in the thread.
The current duel is the latter.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Mainly because Eevee is Canadian and I live in Israel. Which means Time Zone trouble.

As you can see, the calendar's pretty bare, so add some ideas to it please!
