Kyle strikes me as a character that they've actually put a lot of effort into keeping viable and relevant, but none of it's really took off since he worked best as last survivor of the GLC and you naturally can't have that anymore, or necessarily should.

Just have the lanterns switch out periodically, like maybe one year Hal, John, and Guy are in space while Kyle’s on earth with the JL then next year someone switches places with Kyle and he becomes GL of earth for a year

It amusing how Hal, John, Guy, & Kyle are officially living in space now.

They just straight up don't go back to Earth anymore, not even in shifts. Just giving Simon & Jess permanent watch over Earth.

I would honestly prefer if all the Lanterns moved to space permanently. No Earth stuff, just pure Space Opera. That's where Green Lantern shines, and it's why I prefer GL Corps over GL proper.

I really liked in rebirth where we had a corps book with all the old guard doing space stuff, and then we had the new lanterns on earth mostly. and now green lanterns new comic by morrison is making me actually agree hal is boring and if the are wasnt so pretty id drop it

So I started reading the Giffen /De Matteis/Maguire run on Justice League International. Really great stuff. Loving Maguire’s art. He seems to have a pretty classical style, but his characters are just so expressive, especially in the faces. I especially enjoy how he draws Batman. That’s the platonic ideal of a Batman if you ask me.

The writing is great too. Genuinely funny bits throughout. Manga Khan is such a dork he ends up being pretty fun. Martian Manhunter rules. Rocket Red is unexpectedly endearing. And I’m always a sucker for jokes where the narrator says something and then a character says the exact same thing verbatim.

And if anything else, this series has confirmed my bias that Hawkman is the stiffest, squarest square imaginable.

Is the default still two Lanterns per sector? Because if it is kind of makes sense that most of the human G Ls are in space now, they're surplus. I agree though, I prefer the full-on space stuff to more Earthbound GL stories.

I still really love the name Manga Khan.

JLI still my favorite incarnation of the League. I don't mind the other's persay, but when you're trying to cram all of the big names into one book, there isn't much room for Character Development or anything beyond ACTIONACTIONACTION. JLI works around that by mostly focusing on a bunch of lesser known characters and giving them time to shine, and it's damn hilarious to boot.

Co-signed. JLI is the only real League, as far as I'm concerned. Anytime you stick the A-listers on the same team, all you get is tons of Plot Induced Stupidity and Power Creep, Power Seep.

LOL! Yo just cause you prefer how the JLI does things doesn't make them the only real League. The rest are just as valid.

Now then I'm curious if we'll be getting more Shazam stuff now that the movies received critical acclaim & success.

They stated it was the real League "as far as they were concerned".

I really loved its sequel in the Superbuddies a.k.a I CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT THE JUSTICE LEAGUE.

I really liked the Suicide Squad issue that crossed over with JLI where Vixen vents to Martian Manhunter that the Detroit League was a joke that J’onn is ashamed of, and J’onn’s like, “Noooo, honey, don’t say that. I love all my precious Detroit League babies.”

What's your thoughts so far on the current concept they have for the sixth dimension, that being the Anti-Monitor, Monitor, World Forger and Perpetua, and the new addition/retcon to their lore?

Also, if retcons turn out to be the seventh dimension I won't be surprised at all

speaking of heroes in crisis spoilers twas wally he made harley and booster see each other using vr tech so he would have time to try and make things right in the 5 days he had before he kills his 5 days older self

it at least seems to be an accident but his first reaction was to frame two others so he could try and make things right and then kill himself 5 days from then and put his future body at the crime scene. Im not waiting for however long till johns says ol blue dong made him lose control or there was a parasite in the still force posessing wally
