the jesus comic is a vertigo comic you guys, and mark russel's flintstones had a pretty good take on religion in that yeah the people in charge of it might be using it to take advantage, but if it actually does help the people who believe in it feel better is it really that bad?
also to answer old question about the current state of the flash family, bar-tor was not related to barry at all went back to his own atheist hell of a time period, wally the first is dead and is probably the mass murderer at sanctuary, wally the 2nd aka wallace is angsting because "hey I didn't even exist till barry fucked up the timeline" and is on damian's teen titans again, but he's doing pretty good besides that.

Even that had the issues when they claimed she was more evil than Slade. You know, the guy who came up with the plan to kill the Titans and who was sleeping with her when she was a teenager.

decided that Slade was a honorable warrior and a worthy ally of the titans! therefore Terra was that perfect Jezebel who manipulated him!... honestly Wolfman had two author avatars in his titans series both older men the Titans respected way too much

I recall how Slade fans complained about how he'd become too evil post Identity Crisis, particularly after he destroyed Bludhaven and was revealed to have brainwashed Terra. Apparently statutory rape was okay (so long as the girl was evil), but outright mind control and destruction of an entire city was too far.

The comic. I had someone helpfully pinpoint which of the 500 incarnations of the team to try out, which was the 90s Legionnaire series that's getting collections and has tangential ties to Impulse, the best comic of the 90s.

For me the best Legion run is Paul Levitz' tenure in the 80's. Probably one of the best comic runs of the 80's period.

I tried to get into it, but it just didn't work for me. Not that it wasn't interesting, but thanks to the sudden 'No Superboy' mandate, they had to interrupt the story repeatedly to account for cleaning up continuity errors and plot holes. And it just made it hard to stick with.

I just couldn't get into 5 years later, I have had a collection for years, but every time I try to read its just so despair inducing and I cant be arsed to go more than an issue. maybe I should just skip to the reboot
Anyone find it odd how Wally has never been paired with Linda (or any of his canon love interests for that matter) in adaptations?
In JLU he had a ship tease with Fire.
In Teen Titans he was paired with Jinx.
In Young Justice he's paired with Artemis.
