Oh yeah I heard about that. Iím pretty sure thatís the reason that DC canít use characters that debuted in the Sandman without Gaimanís say so
So, what's the balance of the 2018 comics?
So Ken Penders is the reason why Sandman characters were Exiled from Continuity?
That explains a lot.
The man is a menace and he must be stopped.
Honestly I can't say I'm very sympathetic to Gaiman in this instance. You'd think a guy as talented as him would be above petty things like my-grim-reaper-could-beat-up-your-grim-reaper.
Huh I always thought it was Weisman Ďs fault since I know he had a Captain Atom run.
Weissman and Bates were still the primary writers, but Penders is listed on the credits for that arc. So he still had a hand in it.
I dunno who the artist for Justice League was before Snyder took over the book, but why did they always make it look like everyone had just gotten collagen injections?
What does that mean exactly?
They have weird, puffy, overly-big pouty lips. I noticed it when I read the trade for the "Legacy" storyline.
Preview for Young Justice #1.
Having trouble going back to what I own, really enjoying Bendis' Superman and Knightfall has been great so far. I also got the entirety of Batman: the Animated Series on blu-ray.
Still, it's hard to enjoy myself when the films are generating so much hate towards the company. That said, I do see this lack of quality as a benefit due to the lack of needing to pander especially when compared to Marvel.

I'm reading Batman and The Signal and WOW, I must have missed a LOT of major character development for Bruce since the last time I actually read a mainline Batman comic. He is so nice to Duke, it's fuckin' with me.
The film side isnít so bad. Wonder Woman was a smash hit that pretty much pleased everyone and Aquaman despite being rough around the edges in some spots was a lot of fun and is doing better than anyone couldíve expected. Justice League tanked but Iím of the view that their was no saving it just attempting to salvage what they could and hope for the best
Still though first impressions are everything and when your first few movies arenít that great it makes it hard to shake that off
To no one's surprise, Young Justice #1 is really good. Blessed Bendis bring back Impulse and Kon-El (even if Jon is best Superboy).
Wait, Kon, too?! I only saw pages of Impulse.
Yup with something close to his old school look
Yeah Kon's in the team. Isn't he on the covers?
Well glad he's back.
Wasn't he dead before?
the new 52 kon was the clone of jonathon lane kent, the superboy who would have been born of new 52 lois and clark. he was evil and then replaced his clone and then his clone absorbed him and a younger version of jon and then died. it was really dumb and confusing
Yeah. That's sounds pretty dumb.
So...how did Bart get past the whole Bart-tor thing?
Has that been erased too?
Yeah he's just back as Impulse now.
