Gonna be honest, I was surprised at first to see this return in Cross Rays even though I really shouldn't have.

Wait wasn't that Trieze's custom middle finger to mobile dolls?

Yeah. He really didn't like Sarah from Gundam Build Divers. Which I can sympathize with, I suppose.

Siegfried Wedner with the Sisquiede AEUG Colors and Destiny Gundam Heine Westenfluss Custom will be added into "SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays" as Free DLC.

Gunpla Warfare Version 1.2 revealed.

Seems like they're implementing a ton of quality of life improvements, and hopefully fixing the bananaballs bonkers way that CP scales (case in point: equipping the almost entirely useless Energy Satellite with by Byarlant head raises my CP by a few thousand over say, Last Shooting, Excalibur, or Iron Impact).

Some highlights:

• Adding “Semi-Auto” function
  • This will be a different version of Auto Mode where the player AI will not use EX Skills or Limit Bursts, allowing the player to decide when best to use them (during the Boss phase, for example).
• Adjusting Daily Achievement rewards
  • The reward for “Complete all Daily Achievements” will be increased from 20 Haro Chips to 50.
• Skip Tickets will be able to be used in Event Missions which award Event Points.
  • Clearing Missions with Skip Tickets will count toward Achievement completion progress.
• Improving the Upgrade screen
  • Adding a tab to display identical Parts when upgrading.
• Adding a filter for Multiplier Parts
  • This will allow you to see Event Coin / Event Point Multiplier rates on the Build screen.

These are pretty great.

SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays is starting to leak. So if anybody wants to look for or avoid spoilers, now's the time.

In other news, both the MHF-01Ω Gundam Lord Astray Ω and the MBF-P01-Re3AMATERASU Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amaterasu from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY Princess of the Sky will be added into the game as free DLC via a download code featured in the first volume of New Mobile Report Gundam W G-UNIT Operation Galiarest, which will release next month.

... does it really count as "free DLC" if you have to buy something else for it?

I mean, I would think it falls under the same logic of getting a free toy inside of a breakfast cereal box. I fully expect someone to spill the code online for others to use.

EDIT: Oops, turns out I missed a detail. The download code is a special offer, but the units will also be added in as free DLC at a later point.

Damn, these are jazzy!

Since people have been talking about Gundam games in this thread, I might as well mention this one: Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire (Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight if you live in either Japan or Europe). I won't lie: This game was bad, but it was one game that did make it outside of Japan for whatever reason. I have played it myself and well, the game is average at best and that's me being generous to it. There are audio bugs that tend to kick in if the PS3 is left on for awhile and are especially likely to trigger when machine gun fire hits something, the AI can suddenly go completely pants at bad times, there aren't many story missions, there is not much mission variety (Most missions are the bog-standard 'eliminate all enemies' type of mission that will sometimes throw a curveball at you by giving the operation a time limit), and all of the mechs except for the Gundams and the Gelgoog are Made of Plasticine in the player's hands without defensive upgrades (some of them such as the Zaku I still can't take a hit even with defense upgrades).

I saw that at a local toy store and considered it, but ultimately decided against it since its reputation is so bad.

I do wish it were easier to play some of the PS 2 Gundams. Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam sounds pretty solid and had a robust story mode, which is nice since the Gundam Versus had literally no story whatsoever.

And what really is annoying is that the game had some actually good ideas that were executed very poorly. At the end of the day, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is one of those games that will never be remade even though it would benefit from one. Even in the off chance that Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire does get remade, there is a high probablility that the remake will be only released in Japan, even if it does hit Nintendo Switch or the PS4 so importing is an option.

I get the feeling. Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front seems like something that could have gotten onto the PS4 and obtained trophy support, but it never happened.

Now I wonder how it went from the Marchosias to the Hajiroboshi?
