Sing the song of sixpence that goes burn the witch, we know where you liveHemispheres, for sure. For an album that only has 4 songs, you could argue that "perfection" wasn't very hard to achieve since filler is pretty much nonexistent, but those 4 songs... they did them extremely well.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure- Duke Ellington: The Far East Suite
- Talking Heads: Remain in Light
- Daniel Amos: Doppelgänger
- Runforyerlife: Runforyerlife
- Orbital: In Sides
- Starflyer 59: Talking Voice Vs. Singing Voice
- Woven Hand: Ten Stones
- A Hawk and a Hacksaw: Cervantine
- Joy Electric: Dwarf Mountain Alphabet
- Pepe Deluxé: Queen of the Wave
You, on the other hand, are defending a person who has made 7 of these threads, and has yet to return to a single one. More than likely, he won't be able to appreciate your "help."
And on the topic, I think "Piece of Mind," "Powerslave," and "Dance of Death" by Iron Maiden are all, song-for-song, near-perfect.
"Black Bird" by Alter Bridge I also consider a modern masterpiece of rock.
- Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth
- Dragonland - Under the Grey Banner
- Communic - Waves of Visual Decay
That's all I can think of at the moment, but there are probably more in the depths of my mind , lying somewhere around.

Before this turns into something it really shouldn't, I have to wonder... what were you trying to accomplish with your observation?
Lots of people around here don't make many replies, if any, in the threads they start. He's already shared his opinion, why is it so horrible of him to not say anything else? He's made 7+ of these threads? Are... are you saying he's trying to start conversations outside of just one subforum?! The nerve of this guy, eh?
I think you need to calm yourself down and realize you're most likely the only person who has a problem with this happening. Lighten up, he isn't causing any trouble at all, nor doing anything really out of the ordinary.
Yes, I know, I have a habit of writing and talking a lot.
EDIT: Upon a quick re-check, it seems he didn't share his opinion in this particular thread, but has in some others he's started. Still, I don't think that's good enough reason to make a so-called observation about the many topics he's started. I think he knows very well that he's created a handful of them. Yeah, admittedly, maybe he should post in some other threads too to kind of even it out, and maybe that was your point, but I'd rather no one give the new guys the third degree for what's clearly not an issue at all.

Random Access Memories by Daft Punk
That's got to be the first album in recent memory where I've loved literally every song on it.
Oh really when? There is no such thing as a flawless album, because there is no such thing as a flawless anything in an absolute sense. However, there are some works that I consider to be exceptionally well-conceived and well-executed, some of which manage to convey a kind of ecstasy in me—when not a song disappoints or feels out of place, and all of them make me feel some kind of positive sensation, not necessarily a positive emotion in its own right (fear is a good response) but something potent in context.
I could list them, but then I would have to explain my reasoning and reconsider my choices, and that would take forever...
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Well, aside from the obligatory Beatles and Pink Floyd entries:
- Catherine Wheel: Ferment
- Eels: Beautiful Freak
- King Crimson: Larks' Tongues in Aspic
- The Left Banke: Walk Away Renee/Pretty Ballerina
- Longwave: The Strangest Things
- Porcupine Tree: Lightbulb Sun
- The Pretty Things: Parachute
- Toad the Wet Sprocket: Dulcinea

How dare you disrupt the sanctity of my soliloquy?- Opeth - Deliverance
- Between The Buried And Me - The Great Misdirect
- Akercocke - Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone
- Devin Townsend - Accelerated Evolution
- The Ocean - Anthropocentral *
- Gojira - From Mars To Sirius
These are some of my favourite albums ever, but in each case there is something that causes it to fall just outside perfection (to me). The inclusion of a lengthy passage that is just a little too long, the inclusion of a song that just isn't quite as good as the rest of the music, the inclusion of an element that just doesn't quite fit...

With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars.A perfect album (for me) has a few distinct qualities, which are quite simple : I need to love every song on it, the tracklist is flawless (it's those albums that I usually use to judge all other track orders against), I can listen to it pretty much any time and I'll always enjoy it... There are a couple of others (emotional attachment probably plays a part) and it's always a subjective choice. Nevertheless, here are a few :
- Talking Heads - Remain in Light
- Dead Can Dance - Within the Realm of a Dying Sun and Into the Labyrinth (can't decide)
- King Crimson - Discipline
- Kate Bush - The Dreaming
- Kraftwerk - Computer World
- Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
- The Residents - Eskimo
- Autechre - Draft 7.30
All these answer the above criteria. There are probably others though I'd say not a whole lot.

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.Since we've got the pinned recommendations threads back here, this is redundant. Also, akinson, stop making junk threads if you don't intend to participate.

What albums do you think are near-perfect?
