The animated Street Fighter movie is a better movie from every angle, save one. Better plot, better choreography, better Chun Li, but no Raul Julia.
That's a pretty big detriment, to be fair.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. The cartoon did capture his hamminess and propensity for making memorable quotes.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The anime at least had choreography, some of the best done in an animated film. This movie had Benny Urquidez, but from what I remember he had...3 weeks or so to actually put the fights together.
For reference, this is what Benny the Jet can do when he has sufficient time and decent people to work with.
For everyone, the day that Honest Trailers gave us a Honest Trailer for the Street Fighter movie was the greatest day of our lives, for everyone else, it was a Tuesday(or Wednesday if your living at the other side of the globe).
And I agree, Raul Julia made a bad movie enjoyable since his performance as Bison was so good, it made me support his quest for World Domination so everyone can have every food franchise at his food court in his new city.
Honestly there's a lot I like in the movie. I get enjoyment of Van Damme clearly coked out of his mind. Zangief is actually really funny in every scene he's in, his 11th hour realization that yes, Bison is a villain.
Ooh, Professor Layton. I love this series. Sadly, I need a Nintendo 3DS for the last two games.

Not gonna lie. I'm a fan of Romeo + Juliet since it was a modern update of the story at the time of it's release. Plus everyone speaking in Shakespeare English and calling their guns "swords" was cool for a younger me and my sister.
And there's this amazing scene.
I watched Romeo + Juliet in high school for one of my English classes when we were going over the original story. I was completely fucking bewildered at first because of the dialogue and it took me a bit to realize that it was written to emulate Shakespeare despite the modern setting.

There’s a version of Hamlet from 2000 that does something similar.
The famous “to be or not to be” monologue is done alongside footage of The Crow.
He's wearing a beanie there.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Lilo and Stitch
The Simpsons movie.
Whatever faults the show has now, I still watch it over Family Guy since Homer is a better person than that *bleep* of a man called Peter Griffin.
Werewolf the Apocalypse - Earthblood
The bit about Marge does remind me of how absolutely annoying long-suffering wife characters are.
If its really so bad being married to these dumbass husbands then just divorce the guy. After a certain point I really cannot feel any sadness or sympathy for you, at least the husbands tend to be entertaining unlike the wet-blanket wives.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."They were a fresh new take originally, back when husband characters were always smart and cool while wives were the stupid one that was the but of the jokes.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranI never knew there was a bath scene where the Prince gets cleaned by topless women when I first saw the movie on tv until this trailer and from the movie's tv tropes page.
Honest Trailer this week is Kung Fu Panda, the film when no one wants to spend $30 on Raya and the Last Dragon, but your kids are still too dumb to get Soul.
And the Honest Game Trailer is another boring PC early access game I hadn't heard of until the trailer, which subsequently instructs me to stay far away from it, Valheim.
Is... that supposed to be a criticism? Because Kung Fu Panda is an excellent movie.
Optimism is a duty.Jokey pseudo-criticism? Like, making fun of how silly the premise looks.

I was quoting their introduction. Apparently that is their criticism.
Their main criticism is the constant fat shaming / fat jokes really. That and the fact that the celebrity voice actors are utterly wasted (Jackie Chan has 7 lines total). And the rather cookie cutter plot.
They seem to like the film otherwise calling it better than it has any rights to be.
Though I did lol at "A basement dwelling fat guy who has studied the blade and steals a promotion from a more qualified female", which, like, ouch.
