I missed most of the conversation but I usually get a kid's hot chocolate at Starbucks (what I like to drink it fast), and just order hot chocolate at other coffee shops. Probably misses the point, but I find coffee to be to bitter (even if its like a mocha), though I will drink tea

We should really keep this thing up. I'm tired of seeing it die. *casts resurrection spell*
This is a signature. How about we talk about the issues directly affecting us as 18-to-twentysomethings (college, finding jobs, working, moving out of our parents' house, etc.), as relevant to the premise of this coven?
If anybody wants to talk about candy, we can start a different forum that wouldn't give/deny the privilege to contribute to such a general, broad, age-irrelevant topic based on people's age.

This isn't about me. Covens are for discussions centered around specific, shared interests and activities; they're not for general conversation held exclusively for people of a set age group or other fixed personal background. That's a clique, and the Troper Covens outline explicitly prohibits those.
Back to the topic, I feel it was my mistake to switch my major in college and graduate with just a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Otherwise, it's my belief that I could've been better prepared to face the job market.

Space, if you feel you must confront me about something, my PM box is open. There's no reason for you to call me out on this publicly, especially when the matter is still irrespective of this thread's purpose. We are in a coven for 18-to-twentysomethings; therefore, our aim should be the discussion of issues directly pertaining to ourselves as 18-to-twentysomethings. I never once said there's anything that anybody should NOT be doing, only that conversational topics irrespective of age or personal background are not meant to be held exclusive to anybody meeting set requirements for the group. If anybody wants to go back to talking about candy, I'm not stopping that; my point was simply that nobody has to be twenty-years-old to take part in a discussion on candy.

Sean, I have hollered at the mods, due to your backseat modding. I'm not certain, but I believe that what you're doing is against the rules. If that's not the case, it's still frowned-upon. Hypocrisy is fun, isn't it?
We are human; we will occasionally diverge from the topic at hand. To expect us to stay rigidly within said topic is to be naïve and obsessive. As long as we are vaguely within the broad topic of emerging adulthood, we should be fine. We have free will, Sean.
This is a signature.Wolf, dude, I think you need to cool it. Sean's just trying to make sure shit stays on-topic, and I don't think there's much wrong with that. Don't think he's been particularly rude about it, either, so trying to start a feud with him doesn't sit well with me. What you just said was very rude and passive-aggressive, and I would like you to stop.
make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019Lep, I apologize for my passive-aggressive behavior; it's just that Sean gets far too serious about all of this. I appreciate his trying to keep things on topic, but there is no reason to be so strict about it. Yeah, we'll keep this thing on topic, but I just don't like those who act as though they have authority, when they actually lack it. I don't mean to be a Jerkass, or anything; I'm usually a Nice Guy. I'm rather dark, but I'm usually not particularly hostile. I can very passionate about my views, though. I like the concept that Sean is attempting to convey, but I'm not fond of the execution. This is essentially a dichotomy of values; Sean's lawfulness is clashing with my chaos. That being said, I could've gone about it differently.

This is a signature.I suggest you ignore him if you don't like what he has to say, then. Suggestions are suggestions, and if you would rather not follow them, ignore them and move on. Please do not do something like this again. I don't think I necessarily have the power to evict you as OP or anything, but I will ask you to leave if this happens again.
Anyway.
make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019Pretty good so far. I have a feeling that this semester is going to be nicer than the last. This time I'm not taking four English classes at once, so that's a plus. :D
Aw. :( Have you tried applying for financial aid?

You haven't filed for financial aid, or anything?
(Wait… Lep just said that.)
That's good.

I'm a big fan of Beige Prose, so writing something that long does not appeal to me at all.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else
